View Full Version : Female Bisexuality

As I guy, I am not going to lie, I have viewed pornographic and sub pornographic materials in my life:eek: . Why is it that us men find Female Bi Sexuality attractive, but male bisexuality (homosexuality in some minds, guys in some folks minds are either straight or gay) disgusting? Why do men find "lip stick lesbians" attractive but other true lesbianism and gay men repulsive? Isn't the act the same?
I think we are too heavily influenced by pornographic matter in our society.
When porn companies do lesbian films, they are really for men not lesbians.
When men hear a woman say she's bi sexual, they are immediately planning the sexual scenario by which they are going to videotape and write letters to all their friends.
Men in their fantasies and powerful men throughout histories have been known to bed many women at a time and have them bed each other. To me it' s more of ego. Kings and there Harems, folks and there womanizing today.
However the reality only a handful of males I have known have had the fantasy filled ,"threesome" some like it, some hated it. Women however don't divulde that information. I have never had one and never will.
What do you think? Do you think it's society pushing porn and sub porn at men to make them consumers to make money not caring about the consequences to their bodies? Or just the male Ego that has been going throughout history? :(
I guess the onl thing better than one hot woman, is a lot of hot women. .:fdevil:

Nice thread ZorCrow! :D ;)
I've been asked to three somes before, two of them by a straight couple and the third was two gay males. The one gay male said I was probably one of the few woman he'd ever want. Which was flattering to me. ;)
Whenever I mention I'm with Jess especially to my guy friends they get this "oh let's have a threesome" look. And I always have to tell them, "we don't share well." ;)
But you're correct about the issue of porn, I've seen a couple out of curiosity. Does it turn me on? No, not in the slightest although the L word makes me think about my sweetie.
Men love beautiful, feminine woman, its the opposite to their macho bravado. So when certain men see the "butch" they think of another male and thus turned off. I myself could never understand the look myself, my fiance and I are both the "lip stick" label. :D And whenever a man hears about another man in an intimate way they are repulsed unless bi or gay. I think two men together is beautiful, there's something alluring about it.
The show the L word really expresses the "Lip stick" generation, which is nice to see. When most people think bi or lesbian they think dyke, which isn't true. There are a variety of types and styles in the gay community. Some are undetectable and very private while others are very obvious.
Men LOVE sex and they are openly blunt about it. And seeing two women together stimulates that need for them. Satisfying their secret fantasies in some form. I think if anything the porn industry made female on female intimacy popular. And soon television, books, music, and movies based off such a massive hit. The porn industry effects so many walks of life including music. Now you have porn stars in music videos such as Kidd Rock or even rap stars.

Thanks for your reply Foxfire. I know how stupid us men can be sometimes. Porn brainwashes some men away from reality and common sense. I don't own any, and stay away from it. To me it's useless, only men would by tapes of someone else doing things they want to do.

I think people buy such tapes to get ideas on lovemaking or four - play. Some even purchase books on the matter. It doesn't make someone bad, I think people watch or read out of curiousity or to improve their lovemaking skills. But I think if people had good open communication between you and the lover, you both could comment on what you like and what you don't. :D

your both whores..so STFU!:sure:
:D
LOL!!
but seriously though......when it comes to "Female bisexuality" it occurrs to me (being the card carrying feminist that i am) that "Female Bisexuality" is hyped up and over celebrated in this country particularly by white men who are so arrogant as to think "oh two women..... oh i can get in on the action"
isnt it obvious that if TWO WOMEN wanted to be together...WHY would they want or need a man? some men just seem to think they can insert themselves in ANY situation...and no doubt that is further fuled by the endless supply of porn that is available to most of the sad, lonely creatures:hehe:
to me, bisexuality IS a more "liberal" way of being...it would allow a person to truly satisfy themselves without the constraints of "gender identity" and "socialization" and "stereotyping" that is so rampant in this puritanical, hypocritical society...however...as a feminist it TOTALLY annoys me how MEN will celebrate women who are bisexual...but will crucify men who are the same way. as if women do it for the sole purpose of exciting men? wtf.

This is a good topic
I have to agree with you that It is wierd how it's sexy when a woman is making out with another woman but when a man kisses another man its nasty it is wierd what people think is sexy and whats not i think the pornography industry is making the world judge this way and i say it is all completely wrong And now in mostly every movie there is a women showing here boobs and this is disgrating to women

LOL, amen to that Farrah.
Actually, I agree with the ego thing too. I think men started with one woman, and then their greed reared its ugly head. they want MORE! more lips, more breasts, more thighs, and they want it to be all theirs, theirs, theirs. *rolls eyes*

Me personally I don't see being a gay man. I just dont' get it, and I am of the old school that men are either straight or gay (no bisexuality). Also, while two or more females is "arousing" for ego and carnality sake. I have to think just because women are bi sexual or homosexual and "lipstick" doesn't mean they want a man around. Men have to get their heads our of movies that have "passion" and "lust" in the title and start thinking like human beings.
Good posts also I have ego crusher, I was watching an episode of "In the Zone" on HBO Zone, and they had a discussion talk about "threesomes" well. This girl was going to talk about hers and she said, 'I had a threesome, with me and two guys." The dude who was hyped to hear her story got all disgusted and looked at her like a weirdo.
She said, "I felt used afterwards."
People eh?

Hmmm... I remember an article one of my psychology professors wrote. We all call him "Dr. P" he's a certified sexologist.... kinda weird since almost all his classes boil down to sex, but anywas, I vagely remember this article he wrote about porn and such, I'll have to see if I have a copy of it.
He did say in it though that for males pornography is more physical and visual.... males like to look (obviously) to have that visual aid, it just the way our mind is wired. While in females pornography is more mental instead of physical baised.
I'll send him the question you proposed in this thread and post his repsonse here :) I suspect though that it would have something to do with the way the striaght male bain is wired. We prefer the women that look more like "girls" because that's what we tend to think about more. Lets face why have only 1 when you could have 2.. lol :) ;) Our brain is wired for our attractiveness patterns to run along the lines of the "lip stick lesbiians" insted of the "true lesbians" and "gay males". I'm guessing but then this doesn't really explain why most women don't fantasize about two gay guys getting it on... lol Perhaps it is along the lines of once again of the whole physical / mental deal....
See.. I do pay attention in my psychology classes :D hehe

SO GLAD you ADMIT IT! now if only the REST of your fellow men would do the same! lol
i just think sexuality is complex and mysterious enough WITHOUT the complications of puritanical, chauvansitic slants placed on it by men...and really...if we were ALL honest with ourselves...we've all had thoughts about someone of the same gender at one point or another.
i just fail to see the fascination with a WOMAN's bisexuality...but as most of us have said..its fueld by male greed, and the porn industry. maybe we should send this thread to Playboy to get their reaction?:D

oh no, lol i was referring to ZorCrow admitting that MEN are greedy:rolleyes: :hehe:
but i think you know it too!:light:
and ZorCrow...are you SURE you can safely say that youve NEVER had an errant thought? many studies by reputable doctors who KNOW their field have suggested its human nature to have random thoughts like that once in a while. it doesnt mean your gay or that you will sleep with someone of the same sex.
A person can only be truly liberated and secure in themselves and sexuality if they HONEST with themselves. Im not saying that you arent ..because i dont know ..even though we've talked about things like this before off the board..but i just think you should avoid doing what so many people do and thats to QUICKLY and VEHEMENTLY deny anything that might be considerd "deviant" when it comes to what they might think about.

Spellbinder,
Honestly, I have had many sexual thoughts that were "different", but none homosexual. I am just an exception that proves the rule. It's different for straight guys I guess. Like the gay guys I know can't think straight. The straight guys I know can't and don't want to think gay. Some guys when they go to jail go homosexual, some guys don't. It's all about the individual. Me I am into women, my thoughts go only to women, and have gone only to women since I was a toddler. I had a crush on my female baby sitter (Mild one) then I had mild crushes and my first real crush was on the infamous Puerto Rican young lady in the sixth grade.
Too many good looking women in my opinion, they seem to grow on trees on the earth. You are amongst them Spellbinder as for my thoughts for you . . .. I will keep them quiet. :D

I honestly don't believe it for a second. It has been in Entertainment and Magazines for the last 10 years that every man has fantasized about another Man at least once, or had an unconscious dream about one at least. It is the way people think. If you met a Gay man who was nice to you and you hung out all the time, and you had deep conversations and all that.. I bet you would develop a crush on him lol. I don't think our relationships come down to looks or gender at all. It is the person. If there is a person that knows you better than anyone in the world and makes you happy, eventually you are gonna want to be with them lol.. I think it is human nature. I think people are attracted to personality.. looks may be a catalyst... but say if you couldn't tell if people were male or female at first, and you got to know them, I bet many people would be classified as "Gay"

You dont' have to believe it dude, but it's true. I am have never had gay thoughts and don't think or fantasize about guy. Not lying just being honest. If you don't believe me that's fine. Like I said, I don't care what studies say,
I 've never had a fanasty about or "errant thought" about a guy. Now women on the other hand ;)

Yea, "Dr. P" is pretty cool :) I had him for "Psych 260: Human Sexuality" definately an interesting class.... not something I'd wanna repeat at 8:30 in the morning though.....
I knew he'd answer me.... because A) we're a small college; and B) if he didn't I'd go by his office and bug him about it hehe

Some words of wisdom from Coupling (lol - obviously this is not meant seriously):
Jeff: Aw wouldn't that be great. Being a lesbian. All the advantages of being a man but with less embarassing genitals. Plus every time you have sex there's four breasts. Two guest breasts, and two you can take home afterwards - aw it's bloody brilliant!
Patrick: I like films with lesbians in them cause it's nice to think there are attractive women out there who can't find a boyfriend.
Steve: No, Patrick, they're lesbians.
Patrick: Yeah, that's what I said.
SteveL You have the sexual politics of a Viking attack.
