THESE FOLKS CAN ACT IN MY OPINION

1. HARRISON FORD-- More than just Hans Solo, he and James Earl Jones leaped out from the Star Wars Trilogy to become great actors, but Jones already had a Toney and Ford acting roles as well.

2. Brad Pitt-- The man can act, he's no joke. He did good in Troy and the Devil's Own and of course Fight Club

3. Edward Norton-- should have won an Oscar for his role in American History X as a Skinhead who takes no crap from anyone, also his role in other moves such as Primal Fear and one of my favorites Red Dragon show his skill

4. Julianne Moore-- The Amber Waves of Boogie Nights did good in a gory Hannibal

5. Robin Williams-- nuff said

6. Kevin Spacey-- Yes!! The Usual Suspects, American Beauty, the Shipping News, the live of David Gale, Consenting Adults need I say more!!

7. Sean Connery--007 at his best

8. Denzel Washington-- branching out but Malcom X and other roles have been brilliant.

9. Marlon Brando-- The God father nuff said

10. Robet DeNiro-- Godfather 2 nuff said

11. Al Pacino-- Godfather 1 and 2 Nuff said

12. Ray Liotta-- How underrated is Ray Liotta? very!!! Goodfellas and of course "Blow" with Johnny Depp

13. Samuel L. Jackson--- That's what I am talking about

14. Hillary Swank-- Boys Don't cry and the Gift great!

15. LisaRaye McCoy-- she can't act but she's fine!!!!!!!!!

16. William DaFoe-- Sgt. Elias, Platoon

17. Daniel Day Lewis--- Bill the Butcher in Gangs of New York

18. Tom Hanks---Philadelphia, Splash, Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan,
great actor

19. Russel Crowe-- A total jerk, but great actor

20. Nicole Kidman-- a looker who can act sharper than she looks!

21. Tom Cruise-- Born of the 4th of July and MI2 good movies along with Losing It and Eyes Wide Shut

Cher- Moonstruck, Mask, Silkwood = ALL academy award nominated (and one of them won her BEST ACTRESS in 1987)

Farrah Fawcett- see Burning Bed, Extremeties or Dr. T. and the Women

Nicole Kidman- she REALLY blossomed after she left Tom Cruise

Denzel Washington- multifacted, handsome and intense

Julia Roberts- I always enjoyed her..but she really won me over in Erin Brokovich

Sissy Spacek- Carrie, Coal Miner's Daughter , In The Bedroom....this woman is very powerful in all her performances

Johnny Depp deserves a mention :) I used to love 21 Jump Street and he could've easily gone down the 'dumb cute guy roles' road, but a look at his body of work shows an extreme variety. He always keeps you interested. I'm glad that he's been trying his hand at comedy type films lately, as he seems a natural at it :D

I also think Bill Murray is a lil underrated. I like his goofball comedies from the 80s but his recent stuff is brilliant, especially Lost In Translation :)

As for actresses, I have to be bias and say I'm highly proud of folks like Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, Naomi Watts and Toni Collette, to name a few. Its always good to see Aussies doing well in Hollywood

Nicole Kidman is a fantastic actress. She is so diverse in her film choices, and she does all of her performances without effort. She's great, especially in Moulin Rouge, The Hours, The Others, Cold Mountain, and Human Stain.

Everyone else really said all the other people. Lol, the first list was like everyone.

Although I do have to add Kate Winslet. She's wonderful in Titanic, Finding Neverland, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Jude Law also has impressed me with his role in "A.I." as Joe, I found it fascinating, him and the young kid from the Sixth Sense. I like the creative ability of the human mind, man is so creative and genius, so wonderful to me A.I. shows that our intelligence was designed by a being of greater intelligence not evolution but GOD.

Maybe I read too much into the movie . . .
