Let us be the first of undoubtedly many publications to make some desperate Hex And The City gag
Here’s an apt piece of breaking news for Halloween weekend. After vampires, werewolves and ghosts, Being Human producers Rob Pursey and Philip Trethowan are developing on a female-skewing comedy-drama about witches for production company Touchpaper.
Called Switch (see what they did there? But we’re told it’s a working title at the moment) it sounds a bit like a mix between Charmed and Sex And The City: it will follow four young women who move to a big city as they attempt to leave suburban life and their old-fashioned mothers behind. The twenty-somethings are able to use magic as they juggle relationships, careers and their friendship.
The scripts are by Tim Price (who has a solid background in scripts for just about every soap the BBC produces) and Chloe Moss (who has worked as a line producer on Misfits and Skins and who wrote the BBC’s live Frankenstein’s Wedding extravaganza, as well as episodes of Secret Diary Of A Call Girl.

This will either be awesome, or terrible. I'd be more excited if Toby was doing it rather than the producers.
