<< the winds whiped into a frenzy, as they grew more and more chilly...and thunder and lightning began to play a jagged, harsh symphony of agitation in the air.....as chimes sounded off and a stepping disc opened....Morgan appeared....predatory and evil, yet highly beautiful and erotic in her unholy, savage costume...her cape flowing behind her catching all light that hit it and warping it, casting shadows back over haleigh, erika and cameron...as the moon was now partially covered by rolling black clouds that seemed to flicker from thunder within>>
Well now....isnt this special? You finally destroyed Kelly King and are now confident that all is well. Tell me....how do you feel? Relieved, Happy, Hopefull?
<<Alexis, who as craddling Blaze nearby was not within the shadow cast by Morgan's cape, and she didnt seem to be under Morgan's scrutiny. Probably because she had her sister. and Guardian....well Morgan was now BETWEEN the group and Guardian...suddenly the few paces between them seemed like miles....if Guardian were to try to step in>>
I'm sure that you didnt expect to see ME again..but there are a couple of things I'd like to discuss with you three
<< she stood tall..glaring at them...THROUGH them...as the weather around them reflect its agitation...its FEAR of the demonic crisis looming>>

::Guardian turned around...seeing Morgan confront the others. This was it..this was the beginning of THE END.::
oh...no...
::she looked around her....as the winds began to howl....a small strand of her own black/brunette hair came aloose from her trademark glossed bun.::
::thinking:: Ororo...please get here...BEFORE its too late!!

:: Cameron's moment of peace and clarity was quickly dissolved when Morgan appeared on the Skyscape. She had probably the worst timing in the History of the world. The last thing he wanted to deal with was this woman. Prophet was well unaware of her recent transformation and wasn't about to take her shit ::
"Morgan.. if at all possible could you WAIT for a few minutes before you rip in with your demands and your tirades?"
:: He turned back to Erika who gave him a concerned look as if she knew that Morgan would probably unleash on him but that was something Prophet didn't really care about. He was going to set out what he planned to do back in New York City. If Morgan was losing control he was going to do his best to make that happen. This was plain and simple revenge against Alison. Guardian had no clue what it felt like to lose someone you loved so much but hopefully with Cameron's help she would lose the most important person of all. Morgan. If anyone thought that Cameron was an asshole before they had no clue what they were about to see ::
"I mean seriously is your ass wound THAT tight?"

::swirling sparkling green shards of magick form a column to the immediate right of the group. Ororo appears, wearing her elegant white goddess gown and blue cape..she stands tall...her silver hair flowing to the side.::
Ororo: Cameron King, if you value your life, BE SILENT!
::this was the first time since the Citadle that the rest of the Six had seen Ororo....and if she was here..something HAD to be terribly wrong. her tone was clear and authoritative, her voice elegant and firm::
::turning to Morgan::
Spellbinder, DO NOT act in haste! I want to talk to you!
:: she holds out her hand gesturing for Spellbinder to remain where she is::

Hales looked up at Morgan.... she didnt appear intimdated. she didnt appear irritated, scared, angry, or anything else... she sunk further back on her hips, sitting with her legs folded under her. She felt like no one was listening to her... they were either exstatic about the kill, knocked out, or worried about Morgan.... truth was... Haleigh was getting annoyed with Morgan... she always demanded undivided attention from everyone and threw a hisst fit when she didnt get it... she disappeared when the Six needed her most... or so it would seem... Haleigh felt as though once Morgan disappeared the entire group pulled together well... perhaps they didnt need morgan at ALL.... they managed quite nicely without her, didnt they? Haleigh was going to tell her JUST that... she was going to stand up to Morgan... no matter WHAT the cost... even though she KNEW it meant her and Morgan would really have it out--physically... she would do it... once she had the strength to stand up again. She sucked in a ragged breath...
"I really... think... PLEASE... I need SOMEBODY'S help."

:: The winds began to pick up tossing Alexis' blonde locks every which way. Standing from Blaze's side, she watched as Morgan dropped in from a stepping disk.....This wasn't going to be good. But it was strange, the only darkness that Morgan radiated was around Cameron, Haleigh, and Erika only? Perhaps it was a sign that Alexis had only picked up on? Or perhaps she was thinking too far into it. Either way, the harsh words spoken between Morgan and Cameron came to a hault as Ororo herself appeared. The woman had such a regal appearence to her--she seemed almost perfect. Stepping away from Blaze's side, she watched as Ororo demanded to speak with Morgan. Carefully making sure to side step around Morgan...she made her way to Alison. ::
"This is far from over...isn't it?"
:: Alexis ask. She wasn't there to start a fight. Wasn't there to cause an argument. She was sincerly concerned that Morgan was on the edge of killing everyone on sight. Looking into Alison's cobalt eyes, she could tell that the woman was worried.....But Haleigh caught her attention. Hesitating a few seconds as she continued to make eye contact with Alison...Alexis stepped off to the side and knelt down next to Haleigh. ::
"Red..."
:: Placing her slender hand on her back, she studied Hales arm carefully....Looking back up at Alison, she was the only one who could heal right now...other then Morgan. But HA, THAT was never going to happen. ::
"Alison...could you?"
:: Nodding her head down to Haleigh's direction indicating to Alison to heal Haleigh. ::

::Guardian had a look of consternation on her face..her eyes were widened....she looked intense yet afraid...the FIRST time any one beside Blaze or Morgan had seen her like this. as the winds raged...and thunder clapped and echoed...she tried to move that one strand of hair back..but it kept blowing out of place::
::in a low tone:: alexis... we are on our way...to hell.
:: she moved away from her, to Ororo's side. Noticeably ignoring Alexis' request for her to heal Haleigh. BUT there was a reason for that. ::
Morgan.....we want to talk to you. Please...ignore them, and come with us okay?

:: Alexis' eyes widdened with fear as she heard Alison's remark. Kneeling down next to Haleigh, her blonde locks flew beautifully behind her, only accenting how truly breathtaking the meta human was. Looking down at Haleigh, a small sigh could be heard...Alison purposly ignored her request. ::
"Red, you need to keep still....this is going to hurt.."
:: Looking from Haleigh once more, she watched as Guardian and Ororo approched Spellbinder...trying to talk some sense into the woman. Looking back down at Haleigh's missing arm, Alexis raised her hand and covered her palm around the amputated arm. Yes it was disgusting...it felt nasty as hell, but it had to be done. Using her electricity, her hand heated up to temperatures reaching that of a lightning bolt. Alexis catarized the wound stopping it from bleeding. Removing her hand from her arm....it was completely covered in blood and tissue...shaking it off to the side, a horrible "SPLAT" sound could be heard...::

<< Spellbinder smirked>>
Little boy...your life as it stands..RIGHT NOW is on BORROWED TIME. and NO ONE on this rock can protect you!!
<< taken aback by Ororo's arrival...Spellbinder's face betrayed surprised if only for a moment>>

::Ororo watched Spellbinder...it was obvious this was a pretense on Morgan's part. She was waiting for her OWN reasons....but anything ..or anyone could ignite the match::
Ororo: stop it child! you cannot blame Alison for trying to stop you from going down a path that will not only do you a diservice, but everyone here and MORE.
do not let Cameron and Haleigh errode you more than they already have. They will be dealt with accordingly soon enough.
::Ororo sounded different. No longer was she the gentle, maternal figure that had aided the Six before. she spoke so harshly to Cameron and so lowly of him...it was quite a change. what did she mean by him "being dealt with accordingly"....::

Erika had been so wrapped up in the awe that was Ororo that she failed to noticed the amputated Haleigh on the ground in so much pain. How could she have missed that? It didn't make any sense at all. She beat herself up as she ran over to Haleigh and grabbed her wound head on. It may have been intense pain but the product would be worth the wait.
"Haleigh.. I'm so sorry..really sorry!"
Unleashing her white magicks into Haleigh her Restorative and Healing powers began to work in junction with her own Regeneration powers as a soft white glow filled Haleigh's arm and little by little her arm was becoming restored. Haleigh was just lucky that this was not a vital organ such as the brain or heart as she would not have been able to fully heal that. She only performed a complete ressurection once before in her entire life and that was in the most dire of straights. Her arm was restored as Erika stood up and seemed to be lost in thought.
It was a hot summer night on the beach in Newport as Erika found herself walking along barefoot in the sand as she did when the weather warmed up to it's highest point making it almost unbareable to be in the house. Down along the way she saw a bonfire. It was most likely some kind of College boozefest but curiousity got the best of her and she decided to trot down and see what was going on. But what she was about to see would haunt her for the rest of her days.
There were hardly any people down on the beach save for a few young men who seemed to be gathered together in some kind of circle with plenty of cheering going on. At first it wasn't clear what was going on but when she heard the cry of a young woman she instantly knew. They were raping her. Erika ran forward trying to get a better view of the situation. They were choking her and cheering. Her eyes were bulging out of her head. She was going to die. Rage overflowed Erika's body and she completely lost control. She shot out her hands as a wave of Dark Lightning ravaged the group knocking them backwards as if an explosion had detonated in the middle of the circle. It wasn't enough to kill them but scare them and burn them so hard that they would never attempt anything of the sort again
"GET OUT OF HERE OR SO HELP ME GOD I WILL KILL YOU ALL MYSELF!"
Erika's eyes filled with tears as she ran over to the woman who lay unconscious on the sand her eyes in the back of her head. They had killed her. It had been too much and too fast. Erika cradled the young woman in her arms as she cried out to the Nightsky.
"PLEASE! GODDESS! HELP ME!"
Nothing had happened for whatever reason, Erika's emotions were getting in the way of her power as she laid the woman down. She couldn't heal the dead and it was killing her. She felt so limitless and so confined. She had to do something. Anything! She reached out her hands and placed them over the woman as she began to chant.
"GODDESS HECATE! MOTHER OF REBIRTH AND THE DARK! USE ME AS YOUR CONDUIT! FLOW YOUR POWER THROUGH ME! LET ME HEAL THIS CHILD!"
The calling of a Goddess was not something to be taken lightly. Erika had done work with Hecate but only in times when when a balance of the goddess was needed in a spell. Never like this. This would be something she would regret later but something she had to do. All of a sudden Erika felt a surge of magick rush through her body as it seemed she was sharing it with someone else. Dark blue energy eminated from her hands as it bombarded the beaten woman. Before long the energy faded and the woman opened her eyes wondering what had happened. Erika told her what had happened and that she had found her there unconscious. She took the woman to the hospital and saw through with her pressing charges but the memory stayed with her forever. She had given into dark magick because she felt limited as if it wasn't enough. She didn't regret what she had done with it, but simply that she felt she had no other choice.
Erika shook her head as she was snapped back into reality. She looked over at the three of them talking, eyeing both Alison and Ororo cautiously as she whispered to Alexis and Haleigh.
"So this would be Ororo? Should I go over there? I feel so useless right now..."

"Um...no. Not unless you want to come back as fried Erika on a fancy dinner plate."
:: Alexis stood patting Erika on the shoulder. They all needed to keep their distance...especially seeing as how Ororo herself couldn't seem to calm Morgan. Stepping away from both Haleigh and Erika, Alexis wrapped her arms along her torso trying to keep herself warm from the blistering winds breezing around her. ::

:: Cameron sighed as he walked off with his sister as he tended to Haleigh. Then all of a sudden she seemed to be lost in thought. He tried to push into her mind to see what was wrong but was stopped before access by her PSI Screen. He turned to Alexis and somewhat laughed at her comment. ::
"Man, Lex you are one ray of fucking sunshine aren't ya? But seriously Erika. Ororo is like Morgan's mentor which doesn't make sense since she is like everything that Morgan isn't.. but she is a pretty smart woman so she might be doing damage control on the witch's fragile little ego...."
:: He stopped himself with rememberance to Morgan's comment about his time almost being up? What was that supposed to mean? She had made threats like that before but none of them he ever really took seriously until now. Cameron tried to shrug it off but the feeling stayed the same. Something was telling him, may it be his powers or some other source, but he didn't feel right about this at all. Bad things were going to happen. He looked at Erika as flashes played in his mind. He saw Dark Lightning and he saw what he discerned to be Limbo. He saw some kind of prison on a mountain and dark purple skies. The flashes stopped. ::
"Erika.. I think things are about to get pretty bad..."

NO!! Ororo! I am DONE talking! I will HAVE my revenge on this lot of uppity, self rightous , hypocritical VERMIN!
<< Spellbinder blasts Ororo and Alison back with winds...and moves toward Cameron and Haleigh>>
You're BOTH going to DIE! and I will ENJOY THIS more than ANYTHING I've ever experienced
<< Morgan takes aim....her arms extened forward...and her hands in a "stop" gesture. blast lines sparkle around her hands...as a large violet halo forms.....chimes sound off...as lightning flashes....and Morgan's haunting cape flows upward..looking like a pair of evil demonic wings>>

<<ZARK!!!!>>

Erika watched as Morgan suddenly turned around and unleashed a huge amount of eldritch energy at Haleigh and Cameron. And so it began. It was just as Erika had expected. Charging forth she threw her hands up as fast as she could and luckily a circle of white magick appeared in front of her. As the eldritch energy met the protective forcefield like an explosive bomb, Erika was pushed but held the forcefield strong. Her feet were digging within the Earth as she continued to be pushed back by the force. The energy was moving much too fast for her to be able to control. Unfortunately, Erika couldn't hold it much longer as she called out to the group behind her
"I have to let it go! Head for Cover!"
The White Witch fell to the ground as the Energy raced over her head and continued charging straight at the rest of the group. She hoped that one of them would be able to stop it or that they would be able to get out of the way in time. Erika turned to Morgan
"What are you doing Morgan?! This is utterly insane! I know you have hatred for my brother and Haleigh Davidoff but they are NOT the source of your true problems! Please leave them be!"
It had been too late. The energy hit Haleigh as she was shot back like she got shot out of a cannon before he body convulsed and she was completely vaporized. She had to do something. Erika waved her hand and tried to teleport Cameron away from the energy, hoping she would make it in time.
"NO!!! WHY MORGAN!?"

:: Hearing Morgan yelling, Alexis turned towards the comotion only to see the demonic woman unleash an eldritch bolt towards both Haleigh and Cameron. The bolt smashed into Haleigh....destroying her completely. Gasping in shock, Alexis' hand instinctivly went to her mouth, again further showing her shock that Haleigh had been killed....even if she wanted to move to help Cameron, she was too far away to even help....What the hell was happening? ::

06-05-2005, 12:30 AM
:: Cameron stood there almost completely unaware of what was going on until he heard the collision between Erika's forcefield and the wave of Eldritch Energy. Morgan had lost her mind this time. He knew if he pushed her far enough one day she would really put her money where her mouth was he just didn't expect it would be this moment in time. Erika's distraction served as an opportune moment to get out of the line of fire but Cameron was literally shocked as Haleigh was completely vaporized in front of him. Soon he felt the warm bright orbs of Erika's power surround his body as she was teleported underneath the wave of energy and at the feet of his sister. He looked at Morgan in complete awe. ::
"YOU FUCKING BITCH! YOU FUCKING KILLED HALEIGH! I WILL SEE YOUR GUTS ON MY HANDS YOU PSYCHOPATH! I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL FUCKING MURDER YOU! REMEMBER YOU HAVE TO SLEEP AT NIGHT AND WHEN YOU DO.. I WILL FUCKING GUT YOU LIKE A FISH! I MEAN WHAT THE HELL!?!?!"
:: She had sent him completely off his rocker. Morgan had just killed his closest friend in the entire world because she wasn't able to control her own actions. It was sickening that everyone just stood by and watched this. That everyone coddled her because she had oh so much power. He turned to Alison and Ororo ::
"YOU ARE ALL PART OF THE PROBLEM! YOU BABIED HER! YOU TRIED TO SAVE HER! YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE TO HER THE SAME THING YOU BOTH WANT DONE TO ME! LOOK WHAT SHE HAS DONE!"

Erika was glad that her brother was protected but now she found herself in the realm of Limbo where Morgan was unleashing a deadly assault onto Cameron. She couldn't do anything. She wanted to save Cameron desperately but she knew she would be putting everyone in danger if she did. Out of nowhere Alison came and rescued Cameron from a might fall. Erika was awestruck. Alison may have hated Cameron and had stated that she would kill Cameron many times, but Erika knew deep down somewhere there was a connection and bond that could never be broken between the two. They were so much alike it wasn't funny they just expressed their similarities in different ways. Alison expressed her confidence through power and Cameron through words. They were both very intellectual people but crippled by the fact that they were both self serving. As she cradled her battered brother in her arms she healed his wounds as a rush went through Prophet's system and he woke up slowly but surely. She felt his forehead before whispering into his ear.
"You just always have to say exactly what is on your mind, eh little bro? Now sit back and don't say anything unless you want to see all of us killed. Haleigh has already suffered the consequences. Think of her Cameron. She wouldn't want you to die the way she did.. sit back and shut up! Alexis can you please try and hold him back in case he tries anything else. I would heal Blaze but I have a feeling right now she is better off left unconscious... Me.. I have to face the music..."
Standing Up, Erika dusted herself off as she stood alongside Alison her hands directly at her sides. She was only going to interfere if absolutely necessary. She knew Alison could handle herself if Morgan attacked her but now Erika was looking out for her family, which seemed to be her tragic character flaw lately. She thought back to the days of literature when she was deep into Beowulf and other learnings of Tragic Heroes. In the end, they all died. They could never live. Erika hoped she wouldn't suffer the same fate. She was ready for what was about to come after her.

:: Cameron was near the stages of death. The new aspect of his power he had acquired through the embracing ceremony was in high effect in Limbo as he began to see the souls of others who had met their fate here, unable to escape. They seemed to be mocking him as if they WANTED him to suffer the same fate that they did. The pain was unbarable as he was hurled over the side of the plateau and rescued by a faster than light Guardian. He didn't have time to process any of this and before he knew it, he was back in the arms of his sister who healed his wounds and warned him. His thoughts went to Haleigh. She was dead and he wasn't seeing her with the group. Was she not able to pass on? Had her spirit been sent somewhere vicious like a Hell Dimension? A million thoughts went through his head as he stood by Alexis ::
"Don't worry.. I won't try anything. I just got upset... Haleigh was the closest thing to a friend besides Vivica that I had.. I just can't believe that she is gone..."

Erika grabbed Haleigh's arm-- hard. Hales gave a start but made no noise... instead she pursed her lips and held still as instructed. she watched her arm grow back... slightly mesmerized... she could hear Ororo and Morgan in the background... but wasnt as alarmed as she should have been. In fact... her relaxed emotions seemed illplaced for the situation... she was in terrible danger... and it wasnt that she didnt realize it... she KNEW Morgan was tottering a fine line between being a controlling powerhungry bitch and being a total homicidal sociopath... and she knew she'd be the FIRST the hammer would come down upon... but as always... her steely nerve seemed untouched by the threat of impending doom... and had Alison TOLD her what was to become of her... she would have treaded lightly... but STILL felt this way. As erika released her arm, Haleigh offered her thanks... and looked up at Morgan RIGHT as Morgan takes aim... Haleigh stands up, taking a deep breath... she was about to say something to HALT Morgan in her tracks... or at least attempt to... but she'd not have the chance. As the bolt took shape, Haleigh took a step back... but she seemed so shocked that Morgan had attacked unprovoked that she couldn't think fast enough to get out of the way... and so... was hit with the BRUNT of the Blast.
And what a brunt it was... The pain Hales had felt when she lost her arm had done NOTHING to prepare her for the pain that bloomed in her chest cavity now... She suddenly couldnt think of anything else but the pain... Her final breath caught in her throat... she made no sound.... Her face seemed frozen in shock, staring up at Morgan... her body shook violently and uncontrollably as it went into overload, the pain shot through her veins like ice water... and her body systems seemed to be failing her... as the others saw haunting bluish flashes of her skeletal being... Haleigh actually FELT her soul separating from her body...
and then.... NOTHING.... she just lay there... quite a ways away from where she had been standing, as a result of being knocked to her ass... but she felt nothing... not the chill of the night air... not the breeze flowing past.... not the pain that had every nerve ending of her body screaming just a split second before. Haleigh looked around at the group... A few were shocked silent... Morgan hadn't moved... Erika and Cameron got up.... And Cameron suddenly went off... Haleigh couldn't believe her ears... she was DEAD?? no.... that can't be... I didn't even get a fight! She shook her head in disbelief...
"Cameron.... no.... I'm right here.... Cameron?"
She reached out to touch his shoulder... but her hand passed through him... Her countenence dropped... she looked at her hand... now that she looked closer... she could see... it was slightly transparent... she felt a pang of anger... angry at Morgan, for zapping her without so much as a real REASON... angry at Alison, for doing NOTHING... as Haleigh KNEW that Alison had to have known... she suddenly realized that Blaze had come close to telling her.... I wish I could Help you.... but why hadn't she? and Why hadn't Alison WARNED her? sure... she'd been cryptic... but Alison had really done much to SAVE Hales from a future she knew to be likely... what GOOD were her powers if she let her hatred for Haleigh keep her from preventing the DEATH of a member of the Six?? She felt angry at HERSELF... she'd HELPED Alison... she'd let her grudge fall beneath the need to preserve the structure of the team... she should've let Alison choke to death... She deserved as much for the fate she'd KNOWINGLY LET befall Haleigh...
Haleigh blinked her eyes.... everything was getting hazy... she was slipping further into the place between Life and Death... everyone faded away... and all that was left was the beach and the moonlight that bathed her ethereal form.... everything had a bluish moonlight tint... Haleigh recognized this 'realm' she'd been here before... the night of the Citadle caper... the night she got a second chance... she suddenly felt a melancoly settle on her... she'd been given a second chance... and now she felt as though she did hardly a thing with it... she'd made a transcending bond with Cameron... and sometimes if their goals aligned, with Alexis as well.... she'd THOUGHT her and blaze were on the same page and the same side... only to find out that blood ran thick in the Victoria line... and she'd done NOTHING to improve things with Alison or Morgan... in fact... things had gotten worse. A solemn remorse overtook her... now she knew what she should be doing.... and now it was too late. Why had she been so headstrong?
"You faltered, it's true.... be not proud... BUT.... You did the best you could... and so.... be not ashamed."
Haleigh looked up.... a tall and dark man dressed in black stood not five feet from her... he extended his hand to her. "Come.... it is time to go." Haleigh took a wary step back... she stared at the man.... she knew who it was... the Angel of Death... she even knew the answer to her next question... but she asked anyway to stall. "Go WHERE?? Time to go WHERE?? I'm not going ANYWHERE... I wasnt ready... put me RIGHT... it is NOT time... I didnt go through ALL that shit to die like this.... I won't have it!" Haleigh shook her head and stepped back once more... the man seemed patient... as though hed heard it before... he gave her a sympathetic look... and stood there, hand outstretched, waiting for her to take it. ::still the same realm..but a vastly different expanse, Ororo's garden was the epitomy of serenity and the GOOD that magick could do....though Ororo herself knew that the magick was evil and had corrupted her soul long ago..she won her soul and sense of self BACK. she knew that there was good and evil in all...and the discipline was to be able to balance. NOT supress one of the other..for they simply WERE. That was one of the key differences between herself and erika.::
:: she appeared right in front of her massive oak...the center piece and focal point of her beautiful garden of eden. this was the first object she created..when she overcame Belasco's hold on her...and it stood now..as a massive majestic symbol of life and triumph in a realm blighted by evil and chaos.::
::she cast many of her most powerful spells while standing in front of this tree, surrounded by her pentagram of power and now she lifted her hands...with jagged green manifestations of magick flowing around her uplifted hands....concentrating as her command of the winds caused them to swirl around her in a malestrom. soon...an essence flowed down from the couds...it was -Haleigh Davidoff. Ororo worked using her LIFE GIVING magick..as she did all those years ago to bring her garden to fruition...and as the winds brought Haleigh's essence down...thunder boomed as Ororo began to frown with determination.::
In Limbo, time and space do not apply, let Haleigh Davidoff stand before me as she was....let her NOW be whole again!!!
::in a flash of white light.....Haleigh's body was restored as it was BEFORE the battle of Kelly King. She was physically hole..and restored BUT all of her memories were in tact..even to the moment of her death. Ororo would allow Haleigh to acclimate tobeing alive and whole again..and explain any questions she might have...before they joined the situation far across Limbo::

Haleigh hesitated... but she knew it wasnt as if she could stop this process... she couldn't run from Death... and he wasnt the one to plea bargain with... and now that she saw he wasn't going to let her derail him... she looked away... and then... back at him, nodding once softly... a part of her always knew Death would come calling. A part of her felt she'd been allowed to live too long... that she should have died six years ago... when she was captured. That part of her allowed her a calm... and she reached out to take Death's hand with her usual steely resolve.
But just before she touched him... she felt a pull on her being... a pull that she took for his method of transport... she closed her eyes...and tried to mentally brace herself for what might be coming. When she opened them again... she felt distinctly different... and was staring blankly at none other than Ororo.... who seemed to be staring RIGHT back at her... haleigh suddenly felt a soft breeze... she looked around... and then back at the Sorceress. She was visibly confused... and it spread into her voice as well...
"You.... but I.... and then... but now..." She gathered her thoughts and took a deep breath... and then proceeded to string some sentences together. "Where am I? What happened? Am I.... alive again?"

::Ororo held up her hand to silence Haleigh::
You are here in my garden..an oasis within the realm of Limbo. Morgan rules this domain...but MY power holds sway in this garden as it has for countless years...through many others beside yourself that have passed through.
You are alive, not necessarily because you DESERVE IT...and when this is over, You will have much to answer for.
But, your own strength of self preservation allowed your spirit to hang on...even as Morgan destroyed your physical body. This wouldnt have happened , of course, if you would learn to keep silent long ago and stopped using others misfortune to your advantage. I restored you...so that you may continue to live out your destiny.
:: Ororo spoke very matter of factly, without any hint of disdain or confrontation. her white "goddess" dress and blue cape flowed slightly and fluently in the breezes of the majestic garden. the air was sweet...allowing Haleigh to calm herself and take in Ororo's words. Haleigh would do well to realize she was no longer on earth..and NOTHING in this realm was in her sphere of influence or control. Ororo herself seemed less maternal now...and more forboding::

Haleigh nodded... the things Ororo was saying were mostly true... Haleigh seemed different... her brush with Death was all too real... and it made her realize that she WASNT as ready as she THOUGHT she was for death... and that sinking feeling of regret for what she COULD have done stayed with her.... though now she realized that she might be able to do some of those things... She hoped Cameron was still okay... she knew Erika would die trying to save him... but With Haleigh gone... Cameron's minutes were numbered... and could probably be counted on one hand.... for the number of people even within the Six that would see him dead were now MORE than those would who see him live... and with Haleigh gone for the moment... the delicate balance of the Six was gone.
Haleigh looked up at Ororo... the woman seemed to have a serious, no nonsense tone about her... she WAS forboding... but Haleigh had not lost that uncanny trait to seemingly displace how a person SHOULD feel in any given situation with an unnatural calm... and though thoughts ran through her head like a whirlwind disaster... her expression was collected and pensive... as she realized that now would be her only opportunity for answers of any kind... What came next was so out of character.... so off the wall... it shocked even Haleigh... but it came from that little flicker of humanity that had been fighting to shine just before the Kelly situation got out of hand. It was as if a boulder had shifted... and now Haleigh allowed a little of her OLD self return.
"Yes, Ororo... I have known for a long time now that I would have to pay penance for the things I've done.... and when that time comes... I WILL answer for that which I am responsible... Many thanks for reviving me... though I know you would not have done it unless absolutely necessary... so I must ask, Good Sorceress... I have been so stubborn and self absorbed for so long... I don't even know where to start or how to begin... Morgan must be stopped... and the Balance must be restored... this I know... but how? How do I go about this without being obliterated by Morgan or even Alison.... who it is CLEAR would let me walk off a cliff were I blind."
For once... she said their names without a hint of anger.. or even mean spirit... though she referred to Alison allowing her to die... her voice wasn't bitter and nor was that the way she meant it... she was asking, seriously... it seemed that though she might very well despise those two... she pushed it to the back burner... for she seemed to realize that for Ororo to bring her back from the DEAD... something must be very wrong... the situation must be DIRE.

::Ororo looked at Haleigh, with no visible signs of "humanity". she seemed BEYOND such things..beyond good and evil as well. BUT it was only because many moons ago, she too had suffered greatly and endured a nightmare hell that at that time she didnt believe was possible. time , and loss change a person...and in her case...enduring the utmost pain and struggle to win her own soul back. secretly she could identify with Haleigh to some extent. but Haleigh would never know that::
Ororo: Haleigh Davidoff, I told you, as i did the other back when you escaped the Citadle that you had a purpose for being together. THAT is why you are alive again. Despite the corrosive spirit that you and Cameron bring to the team....there is a purpose that MUST be fullfilled.
Even now, as Morgan attacks the others with such vicious zeal, GUARDIAN has saved Cameron from certain death. She is not as heartless as you paint her to be...nor should it be YOUR concern what her faults are when you have JUST AS MANY. She TRIED to warn you, in her own way. You were too pridefull and too hell bent on putting her in her place to know that SHE, as a seer would most certainly know if your death was looming. This nightmare has just begun....and it will not stop here. Morgan's evil will spread through the entire expanse of new york city...and only her former allies in the Six can protect the citizens AND EACH OTHER from what is about to happen.
:: walking along, she didnt bother to look at Haleigh, she expected her to follow::
Alison Marble, is a seer, time mage and chaos witch...making her the most suitable candidate to stand against Morgan...if ONLY to keep the rest of you from dying by her hand. I will join Alison in battling Morgan...for im the second strongest mage in this realm.
As for what else.....one foot forward at a time is all i can say for now.

:: Alexis' breath had left her body...she couldn't shake off that Haleigh had just been killed right infront of her. As the meta human was in a state of shock, the surroundings around her seemed to fade...she could hear Cameron yelling, she could hear Alison's pleading, she could hear Morgan's threats. But it was all muffled. And soon, the actually place that Alexis was standing began to fade away, until finally, she was standing in Limbo. This was enough to snap her out of her daze. Looking to Morgan, she watched as she head Cameron by the neck...and swiftly throw him to the demons. ::
"NO!!!"
:: Screamed Alexis. Watching Cameron ultimatly fall to his doom, all of a sudden, Alison came and rescued him!! Alexis' eyes widdened watching the events unfold, and luckily, Cameron landed safely next to both herself and Erika. Hearing Erika's words, I hoped she knew that she was getting into....Either way, Alexis took Cameron by the hand, squeezing it tightly. Hearing his heartfelt words about Haleigh, she nodded. ::
"I know....."
:: This was the end of it all. The lowest of all lows. Morgan was completely off her rocker and she wasn't going to stop for anyone...::

<< Spellbinder hovered in the air....as the shadowy winds jostled and buffeted Shockwave and Cameron...herding them away from Guardian and Erika>>
<<Morgan's laughter could be heard ..it was such a throaty, truly heartless laugh...as Haleigh was now seemingly dead...and the demons all around began to rejoice as their mistress reveled in her power>>
Guardian! you can't stop me. I am not that waste of space you had for a mother...I am more powerful than SHE ever couldve been....and no one..not even YOU is going to stop me from getting what i want! You are ALL in my domain now...which means..you are all under MY POWER!
<<the ground beneath Erika's feet began to grow, as it CAME TO LIFE...and became a MASSIVE hand...reaching up and grabbing Erika...GRIPPING her like a vise as it rose into the air...removing her from Alison's side. the hand was begining to crush her body. She would have to get past the pain...and the soffucation in order to find a way to escape.>>
<< Morgan INSTANTLY appeared in front of Cameron>>
BOO!
<<Shoving Alexis with such force to seperate her from Cameron, Morgan cold cocked Cameron across his jaw ..her fist encased in a halo of dark magick.>>
Learn the folly of your ways BOY...as i BEAT you into submission. You will KNOW now who you BETTERS are...and NEVER open your mouth to me again!
<<she followed with a strong uppercut to his chest and stomach. She began BEATING him mercilessly with rapid, repeated blows, punches, strikes, slaps, kicks ..not holding back any of her strength as she broke his jaw, blackened his eyes, broke his ribs, and then began kicking and stomping him. Haleigh walked alongside Ororo, staring ahead... her vision seemed to be out of focus... in her mind she was racing to pull together the best strategy... she knew they were in Spellbinders world now.. she remembered the things she'd heard Morgan telling Blaze a while back. She looked at Ororo for a moment, then back out ahead... O seemed adamant to provide excuse for Alison... and she didnt hesitate to make Haleigh the bad guy once more... Haleigh knew what she was saying was very TRUE... but O's inability to admit that perhaps there were better ways ALISON could be handling things sparked a bit of anger...nevertheless... Haleigh chose her words CAREFULLY... for she knew that this was not the place nor the time to make enemies... and she knew that Ororo would be more or less NEUTRAL... and more 'for the Six' than any of them.
"Okay, I was being self-deprecating, not creating a new Haleigh Hate Wagon for everyone to board..."
She said with a soft laugh. She still seemed incapable of meeting the gravity of the situation with appropriate emotion. She took a deep breath... and refrained from saying ANY more about Alsion or Morgan.... though she very much would have liked to... she sensed that O would not budge on the subject... and would always side with those two went it came down to it.... Haleigh didnt blame her... for this was the FIRST time she'd spent more than ten minutes with the woman... and she didn't doubt Ororo had only ever seen TERRIBLE things from Haleigh Davidoff's hands.... her mind drifted.. O seemed to know so much... about the Six and their destiny.... and about what was to come... Haleigh had so many questions... but knew there was so little time.
"I know we must be going... but one more question before we do.... I have the TO virus... I assume it is the SAME that infects the demons of limbo... the ones Morgan have reign over... can you say how that might affect ME?"

::Ororo made her way to what appeared to be a rather fast flowing, bubbling stream...its path actually made its way through the endless expanse of the garden but where the water fall is was only known to Ororo. she looked down over at Haleigh and motioned to the stream::
take a drink, child. you need to be refreshed from within as well as without. It is good, that you show some sense of remorse for what you have done....your role in all this. Others among you will not be as easy to reach with reason.
:: she looked up to the skies...as her silver hair begins to blow back a bit...for beyond the barrier of her garden, raged the chaos that populated most of Limbo. She heard Haleigh's question...and responded::
you are something of a rarity. a being who maintained their HUMANITY inspite of the infection. It happened once before...with a cross time alternate of MYSELF when that Storm and her x-men joined the avengers and new mutants in fighting the black mage, Kulan Gath. In that case, THAT Storm willinging excepted infection from the hand of her comrade Warlock..
::Ororo held off mentioning that the infection THAT Storm had been reversed by the powers of Magik and Dr. Strange.::
you will be able to do to the demons what THEY would do to your team mates....take their "life glow" and render them inert. but even so, there are as many demons in this realm as their are grains of sand on the beaches of earth. and beware. If you are "kissed" by the blade of Morgan's Soul Sword you will die just as the demons would...and be even beyond MY power to save. Pray to the goddess that she does NOT manifest that blade.

Haleigh watched the water flow for a minute... and then knelt down to take a drink... at first she was wary... but figured Ororo had no reason to kill her... especially since she'd bothered with bringing her back from the dead... Halegih let her hand gently into the streaming water... it was chilled to the perfect degree... and for some reason Haleigh's mouth was beginning to water... she dipped both hands into the water adn cupped them together, taking a small sip at first and then larger ones... the water itself was unnaturally refreshing... it was almost sweet... and Haleigh splashed a little on her face before looking back up at Ororo.... who was looking up at the sky. She stayed knelt down as O talked, looking up at her, silent... so she wasnt alone... Haleigh wondered what had become of THAT Storm... and what would become of her... would the TO virus eventually destroy her? Or would it have the opposite effect, and cause her to live longer than natural? But that was a long ways away.... or so she hoped.. she still had to survive Morgan... which was no easy feat. Haleigh nodded.... so Morgan had even MORE tricks up her sleeve... the soul sword... really didnt sound nice... Haleigh sucked in a braving breath and stood up.
"Well... we can't dawdle, I imagine.... the sooner we go... the sooner we can save the city from Morgan.... and Morgan from herself..."

:: Alexis was blasted a good ten feet from Cameron and Morgan, landing with a thud on the dirt covered ground. Sitting up, Alexis' eyes began to scan around her surroundings seeing about 8 demons circling her. ::
"Great."
:: Now standing, Alexis turned in a 360 degree manor looking at each of the demons.....she wasn't even sure if her powers were of use here. Hopefully they were...otherwise she was as good as demon food. Lowering her hand down next to her side, she formed her hand into a shape that looked like she was holding something. Just as one of the demons took a leap forward, a large 20 foot whip of electricity formed in her hand as Alexis gracefully swung the whip in a circular motion above her head before striking the demon in his torso, sending him flying back. Snapping the whip to the ground, sparks of electricity emitted from the crack, making the demons take a step back. Still uncertain that her powers were useful, she waited a few seconds to see if the demon she already attack was harmed by her powers. ::

< Erika was startled by the uprising of the Earth that clenched her body now like a giant hand, suffocating her with an intense amount of pain. Her regenerative abilities were kicking in as she had been able to heal most of the internal wounds and bruises that she was experiencing but the suffocation was another thing all together. She began to try and think in her head a way she could get this enchanted Earth away from her. Closing her eyes, she channeled her elemental control over the Element of Water as slowly but surely her body liquified turning into a pool of water as she splashed out of the grasps of the Giant rock Hand. Reforming behind it she faced Morgan quickly firing a highly charged Mystic Bolt at her which was heading right for the center of her back and spine. While she knew Morgan was much stronger in the Realm of Limbo she was hoping at least the concussive impact would get her to loosen her grip on Cameron. She shouted out to Morgan. >
"Figures you would choose to kill your weaker adversary first, Morgan. I would have thought that your staunch arrogance would have taken over. Let Cameron go.. I will only continue to heal him until you stop this madness at once and return us to EARTH!"
< Honestly, Erika wasn't even sure of what she was saying. She was being directly confrontational and that was something that she almost never did with anyone. Especially in a situation like this one, but with her brother and the WORLD on the line, Erika decided that she might to bypass light and dark and head straight into grey. It might be the only way to protect everyone. She looked over at Alexis who seemed to be handling her own. These demons were going to be tough to beat but she could see that Shockwave was not going to go down without a fight. For an instant, Erika saw what Cameron had seen in her, and understood their attraction to each other. She looked at Cameron once more and turned frantically to Guardian. >
"Alison! We've got to do something! This is ridiculous! She is going to kill him! Blood on her hands will only further and deepen her loss of control!"

:: Cameron was quickly losing all the breath that he had in his body due to Morgan's immense physical strength. But Prophet was stubborn as he was powerful and his eyes stayed deadlocked with this Priestess of Bitchcraft. He needed to smarten up. The hit to his jaw had immense pain but he was going to need to be able to channel his power of premonition in a way so that he would actually have a physical form when Morgan tired herself out. Closing his eyes for a second he opened the channel from which he channeled his premonitions. Normally, Cameron wouldn't have tried this but since the potential for magick had been expressed in his body he had just felt all of his powers getting boosted. It was literally like drinking a million Red Bulls. Her fists were fast and furious as as she went right at his face, Prophet felt a woosh of air as he swung his head to the right, missing Spellbinder's punch. He now swung low to the ground and extended his right leg, sweeping her to the ground and to the hard rock floor. It may not have been much but she obviously had something to prove with him. She had killed Haleigh so easily and effortlessly but with him. It was as if she was taking her time. That only furthened Cameron's bloated ego as he laughed and stepped back a few paces before beckoning his hands and smirking in a way that only he could ::
"Come to Daddy!"
:: He laughed as he watched Erika attack her from behind, knowing that the attack would ultimately be stopped since Morgan's powers were extremely heightened in this realm. Although he didn't fully know what he was getting himself into, he was prepared to go out Guns Blazing and No Holds Barred. Morgan would never get the best of him and he would make sure his final words would be something about that tacky dominatrix outfit that she was wearing at the moment. Seriously. Elvira called and she wants her hair and clothes back. Prophet awaited the next move. ::

More demons came calling...herding Erika away from Alison...as they clawed and bit at her....if one was to TOUCH her ..she would become infected with the techno organic virus. she soon found herself losing sight of Cameron and Alison as the demons began to swirl around her...slashing at her with daggers and hurling stones at her>>

BUT WAIT...there's MORE!

Erika King...if you try ANYTHING...not only will i turn your magicks BACK upon you the way i did your mother...but i will DESTROY the skeleton of your brother...as it is now..he will suffocate in minutes...and his body would NOT be able to survive without the skeletal sytem...the spinal column which connects to the brain.
<< demons were already coming close...looking hungrily at the bones of the young mutant>>
you see...its about time that you realized..that are things ..BEYOND your power...situations BEYOND your control. and THIS is one of them. You're brother WILL PAY for what he has done WITH HIS LIFE!...he will LEARN who has the power!

< Erika watched with horror as Morgan acted against her brother, encasing him in amber and ripping his skeleton from his body. She wanted to act so desperately but the demons were all around her and she could hardly see. She had heard earlier that the Demons of Limbo were infected with the Techno Organic Virus, but after knowing what could have happened to Haleigh she did her best to fend them off and soon Alison made quick work of them as well as the ones that began to descend around Alexis. Listening to Alison as she warned Erika to stay exactly where she was, she couldn't help but be a little skeptical. >
"Alison.. I, I just don't know if I can stand still. I worked so hard to protect him.. I can't lose him now!"
< Tears filled in her eyes as she watched her helpless brother slowly suffocate to death she almost stepped forward before taking a single moment to process things. Alison had just saved Cameron from Morgan and now here she stood doing nothing. There had to be a reason for that. Of course. Alison was a Seer. She could see all probable events in time and the most likely occurences. She must have known something was going to come and rid them from Limbo. They needed to get back to Earth or they all would most certainly be dead. >

::in a firm, yet elegant voice:: hmmm yes, the time has come for us to join the fray. but beware, you must STAY BACK and not attempt to engage Morgan. She will be enraged that you have been restored...that shock will give me sufficient time to do what must be done to allow the lot of you to escape back to earth...and regroup at Illustra.
:: she raised her hands...and with an eerie sound...She teleports herself and Haleigh in a swirl of sprakling green magicks...from the garden across Limbo to the haunting, violet shaded, high reaching jagged plateau on which the rest of The Six were. The scene was truly chaotic...there had obviously been a high pitched battle going on...with demon remains, scorch marks, and more signs of violence. winged demons hissed with contempt and others backed away at the sight of Ororo. without warning, she PUSHED Haleigh forward...to allow Morgan to catch glimpse of her. It may have seen like Ororo was throwing Haleigh into the mouth of the abyss....but Haleigh HAD to remember...that Ororo was counting on Morgan's initial SHOCK at seeing Haleigh ALIVE again to buy her enough time to tuen the tide of this nightmare...at least for now.::

Haleigh nodded, listening to Ororo... she looked up at the sky and took a deep breath... here we go. This time she had to be faster.... she had to be aware that Morgan would at any time try to strike her down once more... At least Ororo would be there to intercept... so it wouldnt be so bad. Haleigh tried to brave herself for what she might be coming into... how badly her teammates might be hurt.... she was pretty sure Ororo wouldn't have let any of the rest of them die, not after brining Haleigh back.... but still... Cameron was most likely to be in a near death state by now... even WITH Alison's and Erika's help.
"Sounds like a plan. .... Ororo.... Thank you."
She added, looking up at O... she had much to be thankful for... she was back alive... and O was going to help her save the Six and the city... Haleigh felt Ororo teleport them both, and the two appeared on the scene, their forms darkly sillouetted and slightly unrecognizable just yet. Haleigh glimpsed around, blue eyes wide... things were in bad shape... O was right.... they HAD to get out of there... and back to Illustra. Haleigh wasnt surprised that Morgan had immediately tried to kill everyone she didnt like.... but she was taken aback at the setting.... it was dark, gruesome, even more so than she'd imagined... if she hadnt known better, she mightve called this Hell. Just as the thought crossed her mind, she felt Ororo give her a SHOVE.... and caught off gaurd, she stumbled a few steps forward into a ray of Light that illuminated her features and seemed to spotlight her from above... highlight her almost ethereally. Haleigh mightve said somethign to O but remembered, O was counting on Morgan to be thrown by Haleigh's reappearance. She stood up tall, looking at Morgan... and then looking at the Amber blouder that encased Cameron... and what appeared to be his skeleton separated from his body not far off. Haleigh couldn't contain her outrage... her worry... or her voice, which echoed loudly around them as she called out to him.
"CAMERON!!"
She couldnt believe she'd gone through all that with Kelly to lose Cameron now... he was like a brother to her.... and he was the best male friend she'd had since James... but while her exclaim couldnt do much for him.... it did serve a purpose.... for if Morgan hadn't SEEN Haleigh by now... she SURELY heard the voice of the "DEAD"... for Hales yelled loud and clear to be heard OVER the various battle noises around.

Ororo! you interfering wind witch!!..how DARE you restore my enemy...i thought you were my friend!!
<<her tone was anger...yet shock and hurt..she saw Ororo standing ...in that white goddess dress and blue cape...that was her second mother...and no matter what happened, she never dreamed of harming Ororo...but now in her mind, Cameron and Haleigh WERE the enemy and for Ororo to have restored haleigh......it was such a betrayal! Spellbinder was not the ONLY one shocked by Haleigh's return.. it was proof that if the six were going to survive...they would need Ororo's power and wisdom to HELP them.>>
I wont let you take this from me, Ororo..i wont let you deny me what is MINE by right. I will HAVE my revenge upon you ALL!!
<< the entire space around them began to grow dark...becoming blacker and blacker.....as the realm began to SHAKE..and violent GUSTS of wind jostled everyone where ever they were standing. Only Ororo remained steady in the winds as the violet hued skies grew darker.... the land masses around them seemed to be flowing faster. there was a feeling that they were being propelled towards something...as Spellbinder rose in the air...and black lightning bolts flashed and danced around her....as a swirl of shadow and magick formed behind her..creating a truly demonic creature image behind her that rose far up in the air...and cast a glaring shadow across everyone in the group.>>
I shall DESTROY YOU ALL!!
<< pulling her hands back and over her head.....she screams like a bird of prey as her hair flows..and her cape spreads out behind her..exclaiming with a battle cry like an amazon, with a crash of thunder, Spellbinder thrusts her hands out and forward toward her targets and BLASTS a broad beamed, raging torrent of dark magick, black lightning and mystic flame all at once...the blasts mix and swirl around each other to form an unholy mix of destructive power .the manifestation radiates BRIGHT SILVER....as it radiates and crashes down..charging madly for the group ...and if it hits...it WILL destroy everyone where they stand INSTANTLY>>

::Guardian moved forward...standing ahead of the others, including the amber encased Prophet and his skeleton::
::the massive, broad beamed, raviging blast came charging for them....looking more like a METEOR than anything else. as Guardian extended her gloved hands forward and sligthly up.....a bell tolled...and with a blue sparkling effect that circled around her hands in a clockwise motion....a transparent, circular shield manifested..and GREW.......the face of the shield sparkled and turned clockwise...and as the blast came closer...the shield grew larger still::
GIVE ME STRENGTH!!
::the blast COLLIDES with Guardian's magick shield...with SUCH FORCE::
::KA--BOOOOOMMMM!!::
::the impact ROCKED everyone and everything around ...and shook the plateau to its foundation, as off shoots of the blast ricochets every which way ..destroying rocks, and demons along....and creating a terrifying light show....as the shield fights back against the terrifying power of the blast...and Alison...fights to maintain the shield.....holdindg steady::

I...can't let go......not...yet.....must give....ororo...TIME!!
::the blast was truly relentless...Guardian was in effect trying to hold back a TORRENT of POWER from a broken dam. the blast intensified...ROCKING her...and she nearly lost her balance. the now GALE force winds...were whipping at everyone...and Guardian's trademark sleek, glossed bun came UNDONE...her black/brunette hair was blowing back in the wind....it was the first time anyone had seen her with her hair down.::
UGGH.....i ...cant HOLD ON ...much....LONGER!
::she was gritting her teeth..the PHYSICAL strain was starting to wear on her....this stand off between Morgan and Alison lasted for painfull MINUTES...and it seemed that everything around the group and area was in slow motion..as Morgan attempted to DESTROY them and Alison PROTECTED them. Alison was finally revealing why she was "Guardian". her defensive MAGICKS...were the strongest here of those from earth. The strobe effect of the white hot blast began to radiate all around as cracking booms and explosions were heard....the ground was beginning to CRACK from the stress and force of the power....and Guardian was slowly..painfully being forced back::
::she was startin to be hammered to her knees..as she continued to "hold the shield" up and forward with her outstretched arms. the richochets of power destroying ANYTHING nearby that was outside of her shield......she was shaking....and her brow now had beads of sweat::

SHE cannot save you Guardian..NO ONE can save you. NO ONE STANDS IN MY WAY!! NO ONE!!
<< with one fell swoop and a deadly pass...Spellbinder DETONATES a ballastic blast of eldritch energy...the blast expands like a violet colored balloon..and DEFEANS everyone for a moment with the sonic boom that accompanies it ...the blast PURGES the land around them of any vegatation..and demons..expunging them and leaving nothing but the faintest of ash. and the blast SMASHES into Guardian's shield. despite its defensive power...the shield was strained so hard and so long...that THIS was the final, violent blow...>>

Ororo: Dark child....your reign of terror stops NOW! you will not have ANY MORE of these children......BEHOLD...that which you CANNOT beat with POWER or magick........
::Ororo brings forth a glowing orb..its soft white glow pulsates...and radiates of an encompassing goodness. it represents the CORE of Morgan's soul..it was one of the first spells that Ororo had taught her. to manifest the BRIGHTEST , most POWERFUL piece of her soul as a sign that she was NOT controlled by her dark magickal heritage but that SHE controlled it. NO!!! CURSE YOU ORORO!!
<<she pulled back and retreated...speeding away off into the horizon of Limbo. for the first time SINCE this new nightmare began...the group..as it was...had a moment to BREATHE...the demons that were starting to emerge from other land masses and hiding places...would not approach as long as Ororo was in their midst...but the toll of this battle was evident. ** Out of all the members of the Six, Blaze Fielding had been unconscious throughout the awesome destruction of Kelly King, she failed to grieve for the loss of Black Widow, and now wouldn't be able to watch the deadly battle between Spellbinder and Guardian. Between all of these fast paced events, Blaze lay in the unconscious realm until her body was restored to its full capacity. Foxfire would make her appearance known very soon but...would her awakened presence affect her wicked sibling, Spellbinder in anyway? Most thought it would be a grim end. However, Blaze had no idea what she would awaken to....or rather WHAT! **
** Several heavy coughs echoed silently through the howling winds which bombarded the others with a mix of screams and yells between the team and the unholy demons. Opening her sage green eyes, Blaze blinked her eyes quickly. Where was she? Her head spun to the side at the sound of a chilling bird of prey cry....Morgan! Shaking her head, Blaze pushed herself up. She was still safely protected in Morgan's barrier from the castle. Surveying her surroundings, she gasped at the awful sight of the demons, they were Limbo! Foxfire could FEEL the ultimate evil here but the violet skies were somewhat a morbid beauty to the mutant. Her eyes searched for each of the members, noticing all of them present. And at the last second, she saw Alison harshly flung backwards into the dirt. She even saw Spellbinder vanish from sight. ANGER boiled inside Foxfire, who screamed in rage. **
"GUARDIAN!!!!!!!"
** Foxfire knew at least one of the members would check up on the Seer. Stepping out of the barrier, Blaze was immediately surrounded by a horde of TO Demons. Licking her lips slowly, Blaze's green eyes flashed a surprising red tint, one that was similar to Morgan's. Throwing both palms out, Blaze unleashed a tremendous explosion of solar energy, which violently slammed into the demons around her. With a low growl, she stepped over the charred remains of the demons. Her eyes followed the flying pattern of one of the winged demons. Clapping her hands, Blaze created a large destructive flaming tornado, which easily sucked the winged demon into her flame, whose winds were hurled at a devastating 300 miles an hour, the flame was the ONLY way for Foxfire to control the air velocity. A piercing cry of agony echoed off on the world of Limbo while Blaze's shadow raced to follow her. **
"How is she?"
** Foxfire began to walk slowly towards the group, mimicking the same eye color of her sibling. Her eyes contained no emotion, which made it difficult to determine Foxfire's intentions. But her tone made it evident that she was concerned. She would protect the others from the TO Demons who attempted to harm the others. **

Haleigh's bright blue eyes glowered back at Spellbinder's outrage.... she said nothing, just stood silently like an apparition that was visiting to express her disappointed... she knew she needn't speak... for her presence spoke volumes and provoked exactly the effect Ororo wanted.
It all happened so quickly, Hales hardly had time to witness it... but she DID suddenly see the side of Alison Ororo had attested to... as she held tight to her shield.... Haleigh felt an ever so slight glimmer of respect and, dare i say it, liked her just a little for it. Maybe O was right... maybe Alison WANTED to do right by them... but just felt to strongly against Cameron and Haleigh to be able to be nice ALL the time. Ororo stepped in... and Haleigh found herself liking this woman more and more.... for where she used to think her stuck up, snooty and priggish... now she realized she wasnt exactly that way...
Spellbinder seemed to retreat fast once met with the white orb... and though Haleigh STILL would have liked to bring Morgan DOWN a notch... she knew it was BETTER that she was gone... and now would be the BEST time for them to retreat to NYC... Haleigh made quick for Cameron.... Blaze was waking up and going for Alison.... and that made him the least protected.... Haleigh reached up at the Amber that surrounded Cam... but dared not touch it... instead just assured him:
"Don't worry Stud... you hang in there.... we're going to put you right... and then get you home... I'm here now... I'll make sure of it."
She looked round... TO demons were emerging from the shadows... moving closer to the group slowly... But Hales noticed they WERENT getting very close to Ororo... NOR did they seem to be getting as close to her as they were to the rest of the group... she put herself between them and Cameron... and watched them warily... they seemed to her their eyes on her... as though they could sense she was infected with the Virus just as they were...

:: After fighting off the little demons, Alexis swung the whip of electricity around her head once more, snapping it in the air, causing a thunderous roar. Smiling....she always loved her electrical whip...perhaps she would use it more in attacks. Anyhow...before she could do anything more to the larger demons, shards of frozen demon debris came flying to the demons surrounding her slicing them into bits. Looking to Alison, the witch was rather helpful when needed. But the events that happened after Alison had helped her were crazy....it happened so fast Alexis couldn't even react. Her electrical whip dematerialized in an instant as she ran to Alison's side---this was a mess. ::
:: Hearing Blaze's screams, Alexis looked upwards seeing the mutant had finally come too....and just in time to destroy a shit load of TO demons. Watching her walk towards herself and the rest of the group, Alexis shook her head not saying a word. Honestly, she didn't know what to say....this whole situation was horrible---Morgan had gone off the deep end, Alison was actually protecting everyone....Haleigh WASN'T dead. It was like something out of a damn Steven King novel. Looking back down at Alison, a soft sigh could be heard from Alexis...::

::Ororo turned...sweeping her blue cape behind her...as she looked upon the approaching demons::
BACK you beasts! Or you will find yourself reduced to so much DUST!
:: Ororo's tone was loud, firm and commanding. the winds gusted to underscore her warning...as the Demons cowered behind rocks...and moved back...all of them seeming muttering like chastised children as the sorceress intimidated them away.::
::moving across the battlefield...she knelt down beside the fallen Guardian....gently running her hand down the side of Alison's face::
She is alive, but BARELY. we must repair to my garden immediately. there i may reverse the damage done.
::she stood up:: as for Cameron....Spellbinder wanted to humiliate him...and this was MORE than a sufficient way to do it. All of you, move away from him!
::she stood several steps in front of the amber pillar, facing cameron......as she raised her hands....her cape and goddess dress began to flow..as did her hair....winds with sparkling shards of green energy began to flow and swirl around the amber pillar ....as WHITE lightning began to flash in the sky. a circle of green fire began to form around the ground area of the pillar.....the pillar began to glow and pulsate..as it slowly began to melt a bit before fading away.::
::the winds and energy still circle around Prophet's body...as Ororo gestured and quickly sent Cameron's skeleton back and into Cameron's physical body..her magicks primmed his physical body for the integration of his skeletal system..and as the process completed....the winds disipated and his body fell to the ground::
he will live though it is BY NO MEANS because of his own merit..but he will be VERY weak and disoriented when he awakens.
::Ororo did not bothere to hide her disdain for Cameron as she turned her back. it was evident to everyone that she was not happy with him, just as she wasnt happy with Haleigh. HALEIGH knew why..as she and Ororo had spoken. Foxfire, Shockwave and Erika would not be as clued into it though::
let us go.
:: as the soft din of rushing air fills the air...their bodies glow green as they are teleported from this part of Limbo...to Ororo's own Garden of Eden...arriving on one the hilly areas of the garden..the endless expanse of blue grass, lush foliage and beautiful flora ...combined with the soft scent of lavender in the fresh, cool flowing air immediately begins to soothe everyone::

:: Before Cameron knew anything he found himself encased in an Amber Tomb. His mind was still working but only enough to realize how fatal of a situation he had been placed in. Suddenly, his body felt a RIP as now found it very hard to process even the easiest of thoughts as he was unknowingly slowly dying. It was like he was petrified and mentally disabled at the same time. He felt humiliated and cast out and singled out. It was the single most humiliating experience of his entire life. Ever since he met Morgan the two had established a very stand offish relationship. Each one secretly taking enjoyment out of insulting the other, but only in the past few days had it grown violent. Morgan was definitely changed and although it had been Cameron's wish to see her crumble, he didn't want to be the one to die so that it could happen. Thoughts were racing through his head. Was he dying? Was he already dead? Did anybody care? Would anyone cry? Who would come to his funeral? It was the first time in a LONG while that Cameron felt unsure of himself and the people around him. It was just all happening so fast. He now could no longer see the battle and didn't see the arrival of Haleigh and Ororo. He simply just stood almost frozen in time ::
:: And then.. Cameron found himself onto the ground for an instant before being teleported to Ororo's Garden in Limbo. What used to be cold and hard moutainous ground was now replaced by soft and lush bright green grass. He began coughing and spitting up a little blood. His vision was so blurred he couldn't make anything out, he just knew that everything was bright. Every color was so defined and enriched it was blinding. As his vision became acclimated slightly to the environment he made out the form of Haleigh and he tried to shoot up from the ground which became clear very soon that it wasn't a good idea to do so. He mustered all that he could to call out her name. She was alive. Or was she? Did he pass on and did she meet him on the Other Side? ::
"Haleigh!!! ::coughs:: Hales.. am.. am I dead? Are we dead?"
:: Prophet tried to get up with all of his might but he couldn't and he laid back down on the grass trying to gain all of his senses back ::

Haleigh turned as Ororo came upon them... and she rushed to catch Cameron as he fell, setting him gently on the ground, as they were taken to Ororo's garden... he wasn't awake yet, and Haleigh looks up and takes a deep breath... the air here was so clear... she hadn't realized she missed it until she as back... and she could tell the difference immediately. Cameron awoke... and tried to get up... which wasn't happening. Haleigh's heart fluttered, as her attention immediately went to him, kneeling down and helping his head into her lap. She had her hands on either side of his face... and it was quite clear to everyone else that while THEY hated Cameron with a passion... she cared for him with rivaling intensity. Alison may have wanted nothing to do with him.... but Haleigh would gladly take him.... he was already like a brother to her.
"Shh... easy. No honey... we aren't dead.... I came back... Ororo's saved us both. Don't try to get up. Are you hurting? Bleeding?"
She didn't even look to see if Alison was okay... it wasn't that she wasnt grateful... just that she was slightly more absorbbed in someone else... and for once... it wasnt herself.... she considered breifly what Blaze AND Alexis had said... she cared about him... that much was quite obvious by now and pointless hiding...but they had meant somethign else and she wondered if it was true... she compartmentalized the thought quickly... she didnt want him to get the idea before she was even ready to deal with it... and she never knew when he was riding her train of thought.

Allow him to acclimate back into his body, Haleigh. Spellbinder tore him asunder and he nealy died. Proof that not only does she have the power..but the reckless abandon to murder any of you.
::Ororo was unmoved by the "stop/go" emotional flow of Haleigh. She looked upon Haleigh and Cameron as though they were WEEDS in her garden....but she remained poised and collected, never once breaking from her presentation that made her constant and intimidating::
::her voice was slightly more maternal...that of a wise older woman::
Now that we are here, I can see to Alison. ALL of you owe her a debt of gratitude. She did what NONE of you could have done. She stood against the power of the dark child...and allowed you to survive what was the most violent moment of this nightmare so far. and while I am present, there will be NO MORE ill words spoken against Alison or Morgan.
::Ororo was clear and to the point. She was once the leader of the X-men...she had experience, wisdom and power...more than anyone else present and she intended to take them through this ...and make SURE they survived the nightmare of Limbo and Spellbinder...where as she could not save her own X-men from limbo and belasco...all those years ago.::
We have a long, harrowing campaign ahead of us. I suggest you all collect yourselves. You will find plenty of refreshment about the this garden. you may partake of whatever you need.
::the garden was lush, and among other things filled with beatiful, large fruit bearing trees. apples, grapes, plumbs, peaches....a fast , fresh flowing bubbling stream that runs through the whole of the garden....::
I will adjurn to my citadle...with Alison. DO NOT DISTURB ME!
::Ororo and Alison fade from view in a flurry of green sparkling energy. While she OBVIOUSLY increased the safety factor....Ororo seemed far more stern and unforgiving than ever before. No one beside Morgan and Alison really knew Ororo on a personal level...But after the conversation that Haleigh had with her earlier.....The Black Widow would have a clue as to why Ororo seemed so hard edged toward the group. She was sorely disappointed in ALL of them..the lack of harmony, the rampant selfishness and hypocrasy..ALL of that lead to Morgan's transformation and the MAIN antagonists were Haleigh and Cameron. They would be DEAD now if it werent for Alison and Ororo...that HARD FACT had to have STUNG haleigh.

** Foxfire's main concern was Guardian, she owed her friend more than the world. Stepping a bit closer, Blaze felt her heart tug within her. How could her sister do this? But this wasn't her "sister" at all. Clenching her jaw, Blaze immediately shut her pulsating irises. She was beyond pissed off but she KNEW she had to control her emotions, if she were to help the situation. Opening her eyes, Blaze peered up at Ororo. She was a beautiful woman even if she was older. Blaze couldn't pinpoint exactly what made her so mystical, but whatever the reason she was grateful to have her there. They needed Ororo, more then ever, she was a woman filled with knowledge and great strength. Folding her arms across her chest, Foxfire watched Ororo teleport them to her own sanctuary of the guardian. **
** Heavy elegant fragrances greeted her senses when they had arrived. How was it that such a beautiful place help relieve such intense stress. Overhearing the conversation between Haleigh and Ororo, Blaze drew her bright green eyes onto Black Widow. Noticing the sight of Haleigh cradling Cameron, Foxfire raised a thin brow. Her accusations were correct and Blaze knew it! A sly grin plastered itself across her naked lips. It was ironic though, Cameron proclaimed himself to be the "alpha male" but here he was being coddled like a baby by a WOMAN! But maybe Cameron had changed, she couldn't tell. **
** Moving her eyes onto Shockwave, Blaze slowly made her way over to the Meta Human. Stopping just two feet from her, "how are you holding up?" She asked quickly with a hint of worry. What exactly was Foxfire's deal? Of course she was probably as bi - polar as they came but her involvement with Alexis was definitely turning heads within the team. Whenever the two were together there were sparks between them, of the friction from the powers they possessed. Looking up, Blaze drew her soft sparkling eyes back onto Ororo, who was addressing the group. **
"Thank you Ororo."
** She nodded to the weather witch to signal she wouldn't disturb her while she tended to Alison. Fox was quickly becoming attached to the Marble heart, just like that of a sister. Guardian had protected her and everyone else, they definitely owed her. Looking away, Blaze's mind traveled onto Spellbinder. Mentally, Blaze was breaking down, this was a devastating switch. Blood was thicker than water, would Blaze try to contact her sibling? No one knew at all. The concern at hand was Cameron, who by now was slowly recovering. Morgan was quite brutal in her attack on him, but she knew that was probably the least of the worries and one of the lighter attacks. Foxfire knew what her sister was capable of but now that she had a new sense of power, anything was possible. **
** Needing to clear her head, Fox took a short stroll towards the bubbling stream. Just the relaxing sound it imprinted left Blaze feeling comfortable. Reaching up to the peach tree, she easily picked off one of the firm peaches. Biting into it, she savored the taste. Nothing back on earth tasted this sweet or intoxicating. Her eyes moved back onto Shockwave. **
"You still haven't slapped me yet....guess you gave up. But I don't regret it...not even for a second."
** Taking another bite, Blaze knew Alexis understood the topic at hand. Shockwave had been utterly shocked but underneath that, Blaze sensed pleasure from Alexis. Could it be she was waiting for it to happen? She didn't know and she was full of curiosity but instead she played it off cool. And she wasn't provoking Alexis like she usually did. Sitting down on the fresh green grass, Blaze stared over at Alexis. But it was no ordinarily stare and Alexis could feel it. This was definitely an inferno boiling to the surface and I'm not talking about just Spellbinder. ;) **

<< the SUMMIT...the tallest, most forbidding jagged mountain in Limbo...stretching so high....the castle at the top of this mountain was carved from the Mountain itself. So ancient and strong was this structure...it was the primal OPPOSITE of Ororo's garden.>>
<< billowing, swirling black coulds circled around the castle....thunder clapped in the skies...and black lightning bolts flashed and zapped all around in every direction...as only the most powerful of the winged demons dared to venture anywhere near the castle>>
<< inside the castle...the solid ancient stone walls muffled the elemental chaos that raged outside...the ancient, royal decor gave the castle a surprising regal and almost luxe appearence....in constrast with the stone walls, the massive pillars that reached high to the barrel vaulted ceilings...and the banners that flowed in front of each pillar...each bearing unholy symbols of magick>>
<<this was only the first floor ....there were several other floors...and in the THRONE room...a large room with an octagon shape, featuring ancient dark red walls with ancient inscriptions....with random faceted amber formations that jutted out in various parts of the throne room...along with torches on the walls which had enternal flames. the large throne itself was raised on a foundation and in the center of the room....with the three way sectioned scrying glass that floated in front of it. several small demons lurked in the shadows of the room, their eyes glowing from the darkness....as Spellbinder sat in her throne....her face totally enshrouded in shadow and her own eyes glowing solid white as she fumed with rage>>
Ororo has taken them to the safety of her garden. I do NOT understand it! ::thunder rolls and rumbles in the air::
WHY is she protecting them...HELPING them....Haleigh and Cameron. WHY are she and Guardian HELPING THOSE WRETCHES! The others are of NO consequence. they can BURN in the fires of the Inferno.

::black lightning strikes the ground in a crisscross pattern as BLACK the alpha demon of Limbo appears at the right side of Morgan's throne. He steps to the front and bows before his mistress...the extremely large demon is possessed of a hyper spectacular physique for a demon..and with the physical strength to rival that of Juggernaut or Gladiator....along with an exceptionally high level or physical endurance, speed and stamina AND resistance to magickal attacks....he makes the PERFECT brute for Spellbinder to command::
::in a deep, predatory voice:: Mistress Morgan, i come as you command. The hoards of Limbo are ready to descend upon NYC. The await your signal and the opening of the stepping disc.
as for those others ::gesturing to Shockwave, Foxfire, Prophet, Black Widow and Erika King:: I would be happy to break their bodies and after the demons have feasted on their bodies, pick my teeth with their bleached bones.
::Black smiled with such a demonic gleam...his fanged teeth shimmered in the dark throne room. The Six STILL had no idea that Black was now under Morgan's command...and when they SAW this..it would be yet ANOTHER painfull blow to them as Spellbinder continued to turn their world upside down with her power and her vengefull spirit.::

<< Morgan smiled..her OWN smile was as wicked in its own way as Black's. She slowly arose from her throne..and stepped down...directing Black to step aside..as she walked forward>>
Those fools do not realize...that Ororo and Alison are the ONLY ones who can grant them the faintest measure of protection from me. But now, they will have FAR MORE to worry about than "what else" i may do. So confident is Haleigh that she will be able to keep her beloved dog, Cameron safe. BOTH of them would be dead now if it werent for Ororo.... and GUARDIAN...she..she actually SAVED her Brother..TWICE. I still cant believe it. Something must be wrong with her.
<< pacing back and forth...slowly..as her long, blue jagged edged cape with its light absorbing underside, sweeps behind her with each step and turn; Spellbinder plots with wicked delight>>
even now, they are too stupid to realize that the ONLY person who would have a clue as to what is about to happen is Alison. She is with Ororo and they would be FOOLISH to cross her in her own domain. They wouldnt heed Alison's warnings before..now they will SUFFER , while I have my revenge..and expand the icy hell of Limbo to NYC!
oh...but the most delicious part about all of this...is that one of them is actually going to HELP ME seal the fate of NYC and ensure that not only those fools..but ALL of the vermin of NYC will feel my WRATH!!
::thunder rumbles in the air...as winds whistle and whisper throughout the majestic castle::
Limbo's magick will over run the city...enchanting it..and bringing all the inanimate objects to life....causing the temperature to rise to SICKENING levels...and making the city a death trap for its citizens. The rest of the Six will be so busy trying to save them..that they will not be prepared to see me with my surprised guest..or YOU Black.
::Spellbinder laughs haughtily at the thought of the shock and anguish they will feel when she unviels the most heartless part of her vengefull plot in this Inferno Crisis. Indeed...ALL of them...ESPECIALLY Haleigh will see how deadly a mistake they made in cross Morgan Victoria.::

:: Glancing around the beautiful garden that was Ororo's, Alexis felt a little less on edge here....Turning to Ororo she watched as she took Alison away to heal her--or do whatever needed to be done to the woman. Without Alison they would of all died....and she did owe the woman many thanks once she recovered and this entire ordeal was done and over with. Allowing her head to hang for a few minutes, Alexis closed her sapphire eyes taking in a calm breath. She could overhear Haleigh and Cameron's conversation, hearing the hint of passion and romance between them. Honestly, those two were the LAST people she would of thought out of everyone to fall in love. But soon, her attention was diverted once again to Blaze. Lifting her head hearing Blaze's question, Alexis looked at the fire manipulator and nodded. ::
"I'm fine."
:: Bending down, Alexis took a seat on the soft green grass. Hey....she wasn't going to give up an oppritrotunity to rest. Crossing her legs indian style, the meta human took a deep breath in before looking to Blaze once again. She really wasn't going to give up this infatuation about that kiss. Sighing, Alexis simply shook her head. ::
"I know you don't regret it Blaze....I can see that fully. But we have more dire issues to deal with..."
:: Lowering her eyes, Alexis soon closed them allowing her body and mind to rest. She really didn't want to speak of that kiss that Blaze planted on her. She didn't know how to react then, and she sure as hell didn't want to react to it now. Especially after the events that were happening. Once this situation was over with, she was surely going to pay the petite sparkler back. ;) ::

"Your right....my mind has been else where. I'm trying so hard to keep it together without being a flake. What you said back at Illustra....me looking up to Morgan, that was true. In a way I guess I do try and follow in her footsteps, I envy her. I can't believe this has happened....it was just as Guardian predicted, including Haleigh's death."
** Although Blaze had been unconscious during the altercation, she took the pieces of Cameron's words together. Reaching down, Blaze picked off a small speck of grass, running her fingertips over it. This was probably one of the hardest challenges for Foxfire. She had lost a sister and now they all had to face the new Spellbinder. Dropping her head, Blaze continued on. **
"I don't know if I can face my sister....even after all the destruction she's done...and I know she's not my "sister" anymore but I'm losing strength. Morgan has always been there for me....and now I'm lost without her. She was my backbone, my mentor, and a mother figure to me."
** Pausing to catch a slow breath, Blaze was beginning to pour her heart out to Shockwave. Which was rather uncharacteristic of Foxfire but she was probably the most vulnerable of the team. She couldn't discuss the matter with Alison or even Ororo. Instead, she turned to Alexis. Flicking the shard of grass away. Her emerald eyes moved onto Alexis once more, sadness filled Foxfire's eyes. She resembled that of a grey hound or a lost puppy. Blinking her eyes, she looked away. After finishing the peach supplied by the healthy tree, she tossed the core to the ground. The mutant felt somewhat better discussing what was troubling her plus a bit of nutrition from the fruit helped. However, she knew worse things were to come. Standing up, she placed both hands into her pockets, eyeing the stream. **
"I can't think straight and its bothering me....I'm needed on this team but I feel a lot of regret for my actions over the last couple of months. We're going to have to face Morgan but I'm scared. Not scared of dying but to challenge her. Once we do, I think Morgan will be lenient on me but for the rest of you, she'll be utterly brutal."
** Crouching down by the stream, Blaze glided the palm of her hand over the clear running stream. The pure and crisp water felt refreshing against her warm hand. What Blaze didn't know was the involvement of Black, the evil vicious creature who brutalized her. Once the fire manipulator finds out this dark secret, all bets will be off and for her, there will be no turning back and she won't forgive Morgan. Standing back up, she leaned her weight up against one of the apple trees behind her. She became quiet again, thinking to herself while the others recuperated. **

:: Alexis listened to Blaze pour her heart out...it was completely opposite of what Blaze would normally do, but she could tell he mutant was torn over the present situation. Alexis didn't bother to inturupt or put her two sense in until Blaze was finished....but once she was actually finished, Alexis just sighed. The only sibling she had was AJ...and that situation in itself was strange. Therefore she really didn't know how Blaze was feeling, and didn't know how to comfort her. Parting her lips with her tongue, Alexis fluttered her eyes a couple of times before looking down at her hands which were resting in her lap. As she began to pick at her perfectly manicured nails, the blonde beauty finally looked up at Blaze. ::
"The only advise I can give you....is to follow your heart. I personally won't take offence if you want to side with your sister. She's family--you share the same blood, a bond. I would do the same for AJ in a heartbeat. But if you do decide to fight against her...just make sure it's because you WANT to...because you feel it's the right thing to do. Not because you feel pressured by Haleigh or Cameron....or even myself."
:: Pausing, Alexis glanced away from Blaze for a moment, before continuing on. ::
"...Just follow your heart."
:: Alexis wasn't really on anyone's side....to be frank, she just wanted to stay alive. After seeing everything that has happened in the past few days....and in the past 8 months...it made Alexis really want to do some things that she normally would of put off. Taking a deep breath in, the meta human gazed off into the distance, allowing her mind to wander. ::

Haleigh nodded as Ororo spoke... there were several comments should COULD have made... she couldve pointed out how it didnt hurt to speak civilly to Cameron and Herself and she could pointed out how obviously it was that O favored Alison over the rest... but there was no reason to... nor was it wise to make Ororo any more annoyed... not right now, when they needed the woman's help and protection more than ever.... and certainly not after Ororo had saved Cameron from certain death and brought Hales back from the dead.... so Haleigh overlooked the harsh tone Ororo took whenever speaking to her or Cameron and tried to ignore how mush gentler her voice got whenever Alison's name was in the sentence....
Hales looks up at Blaze, their eyes locking... she didnt have to be telepath to know what she as thinking... and Haleigh gave her a glare, narrowing her blue eyes and shaking her head, silently telling her not to say what she was thinking aloud. She looked around the garden... taking another deep breath. she could hear the conversation between Alexis and Blaze and also heard the advice Alexis was giving. Haleigh didn't get up... she continued to cradle Cameron's head, absentmindedly massaging his scalp. She spoke up so everyone could hear... it was important that she got through to each of them before it was too late.
"Actually... her heart may very well be what she needs to ignore. Ororo is very disappointed in us all... and not without warrant. We rarely work as a team and the six of us can't remain in each others presence for more than six minutes... we are supposed to be a team... apparently... its our DESTINY... but at the rate we are going... hell would freeze over if ever we WERE as a team. From what Ororo has old me... New York City is in grave danger... and if Morgan can get a foothold in New York... she might be able to spread the poison to the rest of the country... and the world. Sounds great, right? Now I feel just as the rest of you do... I never ASKED for this... and I before I became aware of this 'destiny'.... I was happy with my life... I was happy with the way things were going in my life. However.... this has been asked of US... and so we must accept... for the sake of our lives and that of those lives that depend upon us. It will be much like it was for me six years ago... we will risk our lives and our well being to save the lives of those who wont even know they are in danger... and thus... we will never be thanked.. or given any kind of slack. However.... unlike my Navy days.... there will be no Medals, no promotions, and NO hazard pay... but we have a RESPONSIBILITY to these people... to save them from terror. For some of us [looking directly at Blaze] this will prove very difficult.... because the terrorist is close to the heart.... and it takes way more courage to stand up to your sister than it does your adversary. for the rest of us... it will be even worse... for she wants us DEAD most of all. The only way we will make it it to work as a TEAM... as we are meant to be... without getting sidetracked with petty squables." Haleigh looks down at Cameron, staring into his eyes. "It goes double for you.... you must disregard your relation to Alison just as she neglects her tie to you... it is a source of frustration for you both... She will continue to refuse you and Erika both.... you have to accept that... for the time being... when this is all OVER... when we have time to breathe again... you can confront her.... She saved your life, I hear... try to make peace with her by way of a thank you... if not for the sake of the unity of this team.... then for YOURSELF.... it WILL get easier if she doesnt despise you as much.... she wont let you suffer QUITE as long before offering a helping hand."
It was a power pep talk... It was easy to see how Haleigh motivated the people she sent out into the field...and what kind of leader she was when she wanted something accomplished... and it was quite obvious that death had CHANGED Haleigh... or at least had changed her back.... but since they never knew her BEFORE the Citadle... this would certainly be a new side of her for them... but they would also come to see that the Haleigh they knew was just below the surface...
Ororo
06-11-2005, 02:44 AM
::far away from where The members of the Six and their ally Erika were, Ororo was in her stone gothic citadle. the fortress was circular in design, with several smaller offshoots that were connected by high level enclosed stone bridges. very beautiful indeed....with rose adorned vines accenting various parts of the walls outside..and a crystal blue lake that surrounded the citadle. some small sparkling..enchanted creatures flitted about and frolicked in the water and large massive trees all around...some of them were a little curious about the visitors..and wanted to investigate them.::
::but inside the Citadle....an exasperated Ororo put her hand to her forehead. Her attempts to revive Alison thus far have failed. they were on one of the top floors ...in a large , circular room dimly lit by soft green flame torches. the cobble stone walls had niches carved within them that held various postions and other talismans and accessories of the craft encased in crystal orbs. a royal red velvet runner expanded into a large circular area rug in the middle of the room and all around was the most beautiful antinque french dark wood furniture.::
::Guardian lay in a large canopy bed....as Ororo sat by her side...gently dabbing her forehead with a cool cloth::
Ororo: Alison, do not give up. Do not abandon your friends and family in this hour most dire. They need you, whether they wish to believe it or not. You faced Morgan...and SURVIVED on your own merit. deep within your marble hard heart..there lies a compassionate soul. It is what gave you the strength to protect your siblings as a child. It is what allowed you to be there for Morgan when she lost her sister. Do not let the events as of late deter you from living the life you were meant to. Come back to us, Alison.
::Ororo gently stroked Alison's hair...as the slowly pulsating glowing field of restorative magicks arond Alison's body continued to properly repair her badly irradiated body...but there was cause for concern. Alison had been mistreated by Cameron, Haleigh and even Erika. Despite being the second strongest of the team..and being hard as marble...her soul and her spirit were weary. She knew this because Alison had COME to her shortly before the battle with Kelly and confided in her. When Morgan's attack slammed into her...it may have provided the "out" that she secretly desired. to be FREE of this world and pestilence of those who seemed to devalue her as a woman and all she had to offer. Such an UNLIKELY feeling to be attributed to Alison Marble..but despite her power and persona..she WAS human and she WAS entitled to human feeling and emotion..despite the cruelty heaped on her by Cameron and Haleigh.::
::Ororo stood up..and slowly made her way across the large room...looking out of one of the carved out openings in the wall that served as a window, she could see quite far from it. she observed the members of the Six...resting and talking among themselves in the safety of the garden.::
Ororo: as much as it pains me....i may have to involve the child, Erika King. But she is such a novice and so one sided in her dealings with magick...i doubt she will be effective. I must take time to ponder this course of action. But at the very least...i must have a talk with the child.
::Ororo's cape flowed slightly in the soft breeze that traveled through the citadle..as she wrapped her arms around her waste..and closed her eyes...remembering a young Morgan and Alison, remembering Farrah, the darkchilde ...and HER close group of friends as well as Magik,Cat and Ororo's own group of X-men. Ororo had been many things to each woman in the dark trinity...but of the three of them, Morgan was clearly the most untamed, the wildest in her abandon and given the nature of her transformation...there would be MUCH trevailing on the part of EVERYONE involved. She turned back and looked at Alison. She knew that she would have to at least clue ERIKA in on the situation if nothing else. She hoped that the young woman would understand::

:: Alexis listened to Haleigh's words....the woman had changed drastically. There was no hint of sarcasim, no hint of brutality, nothing. It was just a woman--a team member--telling everyone the truth. Everything Haleigh said was true. Exhaling a shaky breath, Alexis stood from the groud, slowly making ever way towards a beautiful oak tree that was a few feet away from Blaze, Haleigh, and Cameron. Alexis didn't need to add your two sense, she didn't even have to say anything at all. Haleigh HAD said it all. For the first time since they had all became a team, she completely and utterly agreed with Haleigh. Leaning her shoulder blade against the trunk of the tree, Alexis stared out into the distance. It was a beautiful sight, filled with trees, streams, grassy plains, and blue skys. But beyond the serenity of Ororo's garden was the visabley haunting Limbo--Morgan's domain. Thunderous clouds and lightning flickered in the distance......Crossing her arms across her chest as the winds in Ororo's garden began to pick up, Alexis' blonde locks tossed to the side in a flawless manor. The bitter winds gave the meta human a chill as visable goosebumps could be seen on her arms. Pressing her dry pale lips together, the blonde kept to herself for a bit, just thinking. Enjoying the moment of calmness because she knew....havoc would be arising soon. ::
Foxfire
06-11-2005, 10:22 AM
** Staring off into the horizon, Blaze seemed to be deeply in thought. Her eyes revealing so many emotions all in one view point. Most knew Blaze was weighing the pros and cons of the situation. As Alexis began to speak, she listened to her fully not bothering to make eye contact. Trusting her heart? The same words Morgan offered her back at the ocean front at Erika's place. She pondered the idea, Foxfire was known for following her heart but was it wise? At this time, Haleigh offered the whole team some motivation. And Blaze could hear and feel the sincerity of it, which surprised her, coming from Haleigh. Turning her head, she locked eyes with Haleigh. Blaze was secretly reading her again, she had changed since her tragic fate. A look of shock was written all over Blaze's features. She was speechless, was this woman really Haleigh? Foxy knew underneath the hard interior lay the dormant humane woman and now she was resurfacing, more than Haleigh knew or expected. **
"We shall see....when the time comes I'll decide, until then I need to think this through."
** Her words were soft and gentle, probably due to the calming tranquil effect of Ororo's garden. Either way, she needed to think and perhaps even meditate. Pushing her left shoulder off the trunk of the apple tree, she walked away from the group. She headed for the horizon not far away. The thought of battling Spellbinder bothered Blaze, it hurt the Mutant. Haleigh's advice was good but it was faltered, she had NO idea what it was to battle a sibling. Walking into a clear forest like atmosphere, Blaze stopped short. Clenching her right fist, she knelt down on one knee, looking up at the sky. **
"Give me the strength I so desire to face this challenge. I do not know which to follow, my head or my heart. My teammates need me more than ever but I need my sister more...."
** Pulling her fist back, Fox slammed the knuckle down brutally against the ground level with anger. The pain that traveled through her bones felt good, it meant she was still alive. But the pain vanished as did the cut across her knuckles. Sometimes the firestarter wished she could turn off her healing factor. Closing her eyes, she maneuvered her legs down into a yoga sitting position. Turning her fingertips up, she began to meditate. In this battle, she didn't need her rage but her raw emotion instead. She needed to be calm and coherent. After a while of doing this, Blaze's green eyes fluttered open. Her eyes were no longer saddened or frightened. Instead they revealed a fierce determination, she had her answer. Climbing to her feet while dusting the dirt off her clothing. Pivoting on the back of her heel, she performed an "about face" suddenly, that military training becoming evident. Marching back to the outskirts of the garden. **
** Appearing behind a tree, Blaze silently stepped over a small tree trunk. It was the oak tree that Alexis stood against. Standing next to Alexis, Blaze didn't say a word or even look to breath. Pulling out a pair of silver adamantium sais, Blaze eyed them. With a twirl of her wrist she easily wielded them. At the end of the butt of the sais was a red gem, look familiar? Of course they were, they were Paris Calvin's better known to her comrades as Elektra. Blaze finally began to speak, her eyes moving onto Haleigh again. **
"I have my decision."
** Another swirl of her sais and they disappeared up her sleeve of the long sleeve shirt. She walked over to Haleigh and Cameron. Crouching down by them, she carefully ran her fingertips over his forehead. But this was no ordinarily massage, it was a Chinese remedy. Drawing her eyes on Prophet, she executed a small healing factor. She didn't bother to glance at Haleigh. **
"Leave my sister to me....for now. I can distract her long enough for Ororo to work her magick. I doubt my sister will listen to me but I must try. There's a chord within her that has to be struck....but I don't know what it could be. Watch over Cameron until he's at full capacity and don't allow him to be a hero. You, Alexis, and Cameron are the key. I'll need you to watch my six."
** Of course Haleigh would know what the fire manipulator was talking about. With a final work of her fingertips, she stopped. The circulation in Cameron's skull would be working full force now. Standing up, Blaze peered down at Haleigh. **
"I will help you fight this battle."
** Blaze's words were cool and confident now, in fact she looked rejuvenated and quite refreshed. She was prepared to face Morgan and anyone else. But would she be ready for Black? Her eyes were drawn back to Haleigh. **
"Don't allow the TO Demons to harm the others...do you have perhaps any sort of suit that could protect them against it? If you do, then by all means suit them up. I'm immune to viruses including this one, plus I was already injected with it back at the Citadel. Alexis...you fry up those demons quite nicely. I'm going to need all of you in this....as my strength. I will be drawing on your raw emotions when the time comes, this will get me through it. In the final hour Ororo or Alison will face Spellbinder. Morgan's power's range from her stepping disks, flight, X shift strength, magickal detection, imitation, binding/ensnaring, mystical flame control, body transformation, astral projection, magick shields, cloaking/invisibility, eldritch bolts and healing/curing/restoration. But one of her greatest fears are snakes, especially large gigantic ones. However projecting one infront of her will be difficult for she has a psi screen which flaws Cameron. Her more focused power is the element of wind, which is why we're so closely related. The two of us have control over an element, myself with fire. She's likely to put mine out, so I must rely on my other skills. Her demons in limbo, she can control. Morgan has viewed each of us in battle, when battling her use different modes of attacks, use something you've never called upon because tonight....we'll need it. But what might be the key is....her cross time trinity...connected to the demon Sorceress Darkchilde and the superhero Magik. Magik would be a valuable key player....however we would have to travel either back in time or to the present, and I don't have that power. Do any of you have a plan?"
** Blaze was probably the best bet for the personal information on Morgan, for she knew her. Expecting the darker powers would be difficult. But at least they had a knowledge of what to expect...for now. **

:: Continuing to look off into the horizon, Alexis didn't even hear Blaze approach her. Her movements were so quiet and steelthy that when the fire manipulator actually spoke, Alexis jumped. Turning to Blaze, she watched as she made her way to Haleigh. Studying her movements, her facial expressions, Alexis stayed quiet for the time being. As Blaze continued on with her large monologue, the meta human took some steps forward now making her way towards the rest of The Six. Blaze's words came as a surprise....she was almost certain Blaze would want to aid her sister...but it showed how truly different Blaze was from Morgan. Keeping her arms crossed, again, she continued to listen, not interupting once. But some of what Blaze had said was again, very surprising to Alexis. She need HER strength to get through this ordeal? Wow...Alexis really was a pretty good manipulator, because she assumed she was pretty low on the totom poll when it came to inner strength. But then again, perhaps she was stronger then she thought? Either way, in this situation, she didn't have mixed feelings or an emotional attatchment that would flaw her instincts....so in actuality, she was the strongest one here emotionally. Raising her brows, Alexis nodded as Blaze finished up. ::
"Well...if you want to play on her fear of snakes, i'm able to manipulate my energy into any form needed. As for using attacks that we haven't used before...I have a few up my sleeve that Adam taught be a while back. But then again, this is a completely different playing field. My powers might not even work in Limbo."
:: Looking down at Haleigh and Cameron, her eyes then shifted to Blaze. Alexis was fully prepared to kill Morgan if she was put in the situation. Whether or not her powers were capable to do it in this realm, was another story. Either way, Alexis wasn't going to helm this mission.....this was on Blaze, Alison, and Ororo. Her most important mission was to stay alive. ::
Ororo
06-11-2005, 07:16 PM
::a howling wind suddenly gusts...as leaves and flower pedals flow in the small columnar whirl wind. Ororo appears...her blue cape and hair blowing slightly to the side as she stands tall in her white goddess dress. her solid white eyes fixed firmly on the group::
Ororo: Blaze, do you know what happens when a person who is already unstable is further stimulated by an irrational fear?.....THIS!
:: extend her arm and pointing it to a small tree...Ororo blasts it with a bright white bolt...and as the tree violently explodes...it turns into a pile of dead leaves::
If you want to die as well, then go ahead and attempt to provoke Morgan even further by attacking her with her greatest fear. She is BEYOND human restraint now, and has no problem with detsroying ALL OF YOU if that is what it takes. Do not mistake your respite in this garden for a chance to entertain the thought that any of you are capable of controlling or even defeating Morgan in a fire fight. That is what she wants. You have seen with your own eyes that she will kill each of you if you cross her. She will come up with a new way each and every time. Your task is not to stop Morgan...but to COME TOGETHER for once, and HELP those who cannot help themselves. Those who will be consumed by her Inferno. When you are confronted by this dark child it will only be at the hour most critical...and THEN my child, you will know what to do, and it will not be a misguided attempt to scare her.
::it seemed that everyone thought that THEY could MAKE Morgan change back or reform. their approach to this was all wrong and Ororo knew it.::
at THIS precise moment, although I have been able to restore Alison's body from Morgan's attacks, she is unwilling to "return" to this realm. I suspect that her soul is weary and she wishes to pass on. Not that this is completely suprising, considering the mistreatment she has received from a number of you. ::looking down at Haleigh and Cameron before turning away::
We will need her. Her powers as a seer as well as a time mage will be vital once we return to earth.
Erika King...please return with me to my citadle. We have much to discuss. The rest of you rest yourselves. When i return, we will be on our way to NYC.
Erika King
06-12-2005, 12:09 AM
< Erika just didn't know what to do at this point. She was extremely grateful that her brother had been restored but now she was left with a quandry. How were they all going to get out of this? She watched the others somewhat fall apart in their own ways but especially Blaze. She looked at her brother who was still weak and on his back underneath a large oak tree. He hadn't said a word since Ororo left them all with Guardian. She walked over to him and knelt down, somewhat cradling him in her arms along with Haleigh as she blocked out everyone else around them. She rubbed his face and smiled. >
"Well, buddy.. you're still alive. But honestly Cameron.. I need you to promise me something. I have always looked over you the best I could and I made sure you survived through the years. You and the others may not be impressed with how I did things, but I did what I thought was best for me. I need you to promise to be low key. I don't want you to provoke Morgan any further. I know it's going to be hard.. but it will be harder for me to watch you die than it will for you to keep your mouth closed. Promise me Cameron..."
< She took a moment to enjoy the beauty of the Garden. It somewhat reminded her of her own Garden at home in California. How she wished she could go back there right now and just sit and meditate and plant her trees and flowers. It had always done wonders to center her and calm her and she needed that now more than anything if she was going to help the others to stay alive during Morgan's downfall. She looked to Haleigh and gave a sign of thanks for helping Cameron through this rough time. Erika was completely fine with Haleigh and Cameron's relationship, whatever it was. She just wished that she had the same bond with her brother that Haleigh did. She didn't have time to be selfish now. Her brother was wounded, Alison was as well and now everything was in dissaray. She nodded at Haleigh's wise words. >
"Haleigh, you are right. I have been watching you all since the day of your inception and if hasn't been one thing it's been the other. You all.. WE all have to realize that this is something way beyond ourselves. Innocent lives are at stake, lives who have no clue who the Six are, yet alone what Limbo is and it's dangers. It is time for you all to come together, as the team you were destined to be. As the Six.. if not, each one of you will DIE. Sorry to be blunt, but it is the truth...."
< Hearing Ororo appear within the garden once more, she looked at the woman dead in the eye. Intent on everything she was saying. She nodded for Haleigh to take over Cameron completely as she kissed him on the cheek before getting up and walking over to Ororo. >
"Please, Ororo.. I will do anything in my power to help you..."

:: Cameron was still very weak and couldn't really pay attention to what was going on around him at the moment. His body and his mind were silent for the moment, but it wasn't a bad thing. The cool air and wind swept over his body and offered a quiet break from all the chaos that had just ensued. He was so scared right now. He had never seen Morgan like that in his entire life. He was definitely the straw that broke the Camel's back. He had gotten what he had wanted but he was now feeling extremely remorseful. He just didn't know if it was too little too late. A calm and almost maternal voice came over to him. It was Erika. She cradled him and spoke to him firm but soft at the same time. She gave him somewhat of an ultimadum. It pained him to have Erika think about his death. He never wanted to hurt her at all. He grabbed her hand along with Haleigh's as he spit out his answer. ::
"I promise.. I will.. I promise...Just..I... promise, Erika..."
:: He fell ill once more as a ping of pain hit him as he was still realing from the effects of Morgan's spell. Although Ororo had healed him he still was in an intense amount of pain, which was why he hadn't left the ground since arriving in the garden. He now felt both the warm touch of his sister and his best friend at his side and for the first time in a long time, he felt loved and cared for, which deep down was all Cameron wanted. His arrogant attitude and his relationships with women were just empty ways to get the approval and satisfaction that he needed for the moment. He heard the winds of Ororo sweep through the garden and the next thing he knew, Erika was gone and so was Ororo and the rest were left to themselves. He fluttered his eyes and looked up at Haleigh ::
"Come on.. let's get some sleep..."
:: He turned in her lap as he rested his head there and tried to somewhat sleep off the effects of his healing. To gain at least some strength for the trip to NYC ::

** Taking Alexis' idea into consideration, Blaze was desperate for a plan. She KNEW Morgan would lash out, so it was natural for her to prepare herself and the others. She wasn't fond of the strategy, using Morgan's greatest fears but it was just a defense. Suddenly, the sound of a howling wind caught her attention and there stood Ororo, who was addressing the mutant. Shaking her head at the question she was asked, she didn't know what would happen. But at this point, Ororo demonstrated. Jumping back a bit, Blaze eyed the ashes which now littered the ground. **
"You have a point I see..."
** So, there assignment was to protect the innocent lives the Darkchilde would take or threaten. Foxfire was confident the group could work together to protect NYC. Her face grew grim at the failing health of Alison. Avoiding eye contact, Blaze peered down at the ground. She had only gotten to know Alison and already there was a possibility she might be leaving them for a more peaceful heaven. She hoped Ororo could restore Alison but not everything worked out so easily. **
** Hearing Erika's name made Blaze look back up. What did she need her for? It was rather odd, Erika was quite ever since they arrived at the Garden. Was she scared? Who knew, certainly not the fire mutant. After Ororo offered them rest, Blaze remained standing. Who could rest now? Blaze couldn't, not with her sister lost to the darkside and Guardian near death or already dead. These facts unnerved her, that thick skin beginning to melt away further into her inferno. Sitting down on a small round rock, which was just adjacent to Haleigh and Cameron. Her eyes moving back onto both of them. There was a passion growing between those two, funny how love worked sometimes. A feeling Foxfire missed....ever since the death of her fiance, she failed to love again. Was she capable of it? This wasn't the time or the place to test it. But maybe she already was....right in front of her was love. She just failed to notice it but soon she will realize it....by risking her life for her teammates and complete strangers. While Morgan lost her soul, Blaze gained strength and a more compassionate heart, something she lacked for so long. Maybe it wasn't just Haleigh who was changing, but ALL of them, and for the better. Perhaps they could work together as the Six once and for all. **

::it did not please Ororo to be so grim and firm with Blaze. She was enduring far more than anyone should have to in this unnatural nightmare. But Ororo knew that Blaze would make it through. She would bolster her when she needed it most.::
::for now, Ororo lead Erika to her citadle. the fortress was circular in design, with several smaller offshoots that were connected by high level enclosed stone bridges. very beautiful indeed....with rose adorned vines accenting various parts of the walls outside..and a crystal blue lake that surrounded the citadle. some small sparkling..enchanted creatures flitted about and frolicked in the water and large massive trees all around...some of them were a little curious about the visitors..and wanted to investigate them.::
:: once inside and several floors up, in a large , circular room dimly lit by soft green flame torches. the cobble stone walls had niches carved within them that held various postions and other talismans and accessories of the craft encased in crystal orbs. a royal red velvet runner expanded into a large circular area rug in the middle of the room and all around was the most beautiful antinque french dark wood furniture. Guardian lay in a large canopy bed::
Ororo: behold, your sister, Alison Marble. My magicks have restored her physical body with the greatest of ease. But I'm afraid her soul...her spirit is beyond even MY power to compell back to this side of the realm. She is weary , Erika...the strain that your return and all of the trials that came along with it took far greater a toll than anyone could know. Shortly before she rejoined you to battle your mother, she came to me and confided. she knew this moment would come and she wanted to tell SOMEONE and because there was no one that she could turn to, not even Morgan, she came to me. She and I had time to know each other many moons ago. but I have honestly done all that i can ....YOU now...must step forward...and attempt to succeed where I cannot.
::She motioned for Erika to draw closer to the canopy bed...where Alison lay still...surrounded by soft glowing green field of restorative magick that glowed and pulsated slowly ::
There is more at stake here than you realize, child. You worry about your young brother, Cameron, who has created more than his share problems and played a role in the current situation that we all face... and here now lies Alison and without her, the both of you would have been dead many times over both past and tonight. The time has come for you to realize and ACCEPT the necessity of ALL magick...both white AND black. To let go of this repressive, one sided existence you have lead. You must REACH out your sister...and convince her to COME BACK ...for ALL our sakes. We will need each other ...and we MUST not...DARE not allow the shallowness of human conflict interfere now more than ever.

< Erika was breathless at the beauty of the Citadle. It was definitely much more tranquil and peaceful than that of Mystech but the sense of calm and stability was soon rocked as she looked at her sister in the bed next to her. Tears welled up in her eyes. Alison was dying and now not even Ororo could heal her. She was asking for Erika to help her? How could she do this? She had tried once before and she didn't succeed with her own white magicks. It was only when she tapped into her dark side that she was able to achieve the ressurection of that poor woman. She looked at Erika, her eyes turning a bright silver and surrounded with her salty tears. >
"Ororo.. I will try.. I am just... I.. I am afraid that if I go too deep that I will end up like my mother and Morgan and sometimes even Alison. I have always supressed that side because I don't want it to consume me. I don't want my hunger for power to outweigh my hunger for life... but I don't want Alison.. to die either... I will try it, Ororo.. but I want you at least to know that I am only doing this out of love for my sister and because of the dire situation we face... that way, if I go too far down this path, you will know I had good intention..."
< She walked up to her sister as she wiped the tears from her eyes. Erika was drawing upon all of her strength. She had to be centered and calm enough to perform this task. She looked down at Alison, her still body giving Erika just enough rage and anger that she needed to tap into her dark side. As she placed her hands over Alison's statuesque body it almost seemed like instantly there was some kind of static field in the air as the hair of Erika and Ororo began to almost stand up on end and slightly waiver in the air. As Erika opened her eyes, they were now beaming silver so bright that it almost looked like the headlights of a car. She waivered with the amount of energy that she had been channeling as she let it go and looked up into the air. >
"Powers that Be! Open the Spirit Gates! Lead me to my Kin! Go now without Haste!"
< A flash of dark bluish began to circle around the heart of Alison Marble as the spell was fully ignited as the energy BURST all around the room as it formed somewhat of a Vortex of Sorts with high speed winds. This was the entrance to the spirit gates of the Other Side, where all Spirits went when they were about to pass over to the next life. Suddenly, Erika's spirit left her body as a bluish transparent form of her hovered over her physical body as that fell to the floor. She looked at Ororo with a stern sincerity. >
"Goddess help me, Ororo..."
< Erika jumped right into the portal as she was transported to realm that almost seemed to be nothing but a vast bright barren desert valley. Thundered crackled in the background as tumbleweeds blew by. She saw the flickering of Spirits as her body was made solid and her feet touched the ground. >
"I summon thee Alison King! I summon thee!"
< Losing all of her inhibitions, Erika was now drawing on her full power source. She knew that later she would feel some regret but if she could save her sister, she was hoping that it would be well worth the cost. Erika awaited for the Spirit of Alison to appear before her, to answer her call. >

<< moving to the center of her throne room. Morgan shakes her fist menacingly>>
THE TIME HAS COME! I shall open a massive portal between this "Otherplace" and TIMESQUARE NEW YORK CITY....the demons will RAIN down from the sky...the dark magicks and energy of this realm will rush through and enchant the city...and chaos will ensue....they will ALL see the power that I command!
<< the demons in the room cheered, danced and cried out with delight as Black raised his fist in support of his dark majesty>>
Black! assemble the hoards...and prepare to cross through the portal in moments! i shall move up to the plateau of power of this castle...the outdoor alter carved of stone where Belasco once cast his most powerful spells! it is the highest point of this mountain...one of the HIGHEST points of elevation in Limbo where the barrier between Earth and Limbo is weakest!!
<< as the demons within the castle began to get excited beyond restraint and Black roared for them to be silent....Spellbinder teleported to the plateau of power...a large platform that jutted out from the castle yet it was CARVED from the castle's stone iitself..into a five pointed star shape. the skies travled at high speeds at this elevation....and the winds and lightning were quite active and fierce as well. Morgan's now longer hair and evil jagged edged cape immediately began to blow b ack in the wind...as she raised her hands..thunder began to clap loudly..and blast more and more angrily as a chime sounded off...the chime was so LOUD and ominous that it could even be faintly heard through the safety of Ororo's garden...even though nothing would be able to harm those within the garden.>>
<< a pentagram of silver mystic flame appeared in the sky...raging and flaming against the winds...as it sparkled and shimmered...GROWING it its widthy and circumference....until finally in a foundation shaking BOOM...a stepping disc TEARS OPEN through the fabric of time and space...the disc is far larger than anyone from the six had EVER seen Morgan manifest....and its POWERFUL VORTEX begans sweeping up ALL demons from all around. of ALL sizes, shapes, strength levels, winged, flightless...ALL variations. the seemingly ENDLESS hoards of demons now crossing over from Limbo...to the UNSUSPECTING populace..of NYC!. the dramatic, POWERFUL shifting in Limbo's upper "atmosphere" causes the entire realm to shake and rumble....as the demons continue to pour through to EARTH>>

:: Alison Marble....Guardian...chaos witch, time mage, seer. Truly a powerful combination. But even a woman with a marble hard heart STILL has a heart..and deep within...there are FEELINGS. The strain, the grief of all that happened from the moment Erika arrived at Illustra...till just an hour ago when she sacrificed herself to stop Morgan from destroying the entire team of the Six, Alison has been content to live a life where few people were greatfull for the good that she did...and instead judged her for the way she was...without even KNOWING her...but at the moment of impact with Spellbinder's eldritch ballistic blast....she felt an odd RELEASE... no longer did she have to WORRY. No longer did she have to stand against the ungreatfull, hypocritical judgements of Cameron, Haleigh or even Erika. IT didnt seem to matter that she left Blaze and countless innocents to suffer Morgan's wrath. her heart and soul were WEARY and now she was free. Even Ororo couldnt compell her back, despite restoring her body. The ONLY chance they had....was if a BLOOD RELATIVE reached out to her. Ororo knew this...and she knew the BEST possible candidate for the task was ERIKA::
::having ignored Ororo's calls...and attempts to pull her back...now Erika was there...IN the realm. Ororo COULD have gone herself..but she knew it was inappropriate..with so many of Alison's blood relatives present. ::
"I summon thee Alison King! I summon thee!"
::she hears Erika's call..and it is slightly unnerving.. HOW was she here..and WHY?::
::Alison appeared before Erika. her coblat blue eyes opening..with that "popping" sound..before a cobalt blue outline of Alison's astral soul appears.::
Erika...why are you here?? Why have you come here to torment me as well!?...Leave me be!

< Erika saw the form of Alison's Astral Soul appear before her as she felt a burst of happiness that she quickly repressed. She would have to be on Alison's level to do this. To understand her for what she truly was and what she wanted to be to other people. She looked at her sister her silver eyes almost blinding as she spoke to her. >
"Alison.. I have not come here to torment you at all. My brother did that enough to you while you were on the realm of Earth. I am here on a completely different reason and that is to make sure you do what you are destined to do... I know at times you are misunderstood and judged, but the people who matter respect and know that you do things out of the goodness of your heart. It is the reason you HAVEN'T killed Cameron, the reason you saved him twice against your best friend in the entire world. It was the Alison who saved Cameron the first night you met him from an untimely death and the Alison that was instrumental in the destruction of the Demon Mage in the Citadle of Mystech. I love you Alison and I always have..."
< She laid her head down as she continued, showing a moment of vulnerability. >
"And you and I both know that without you, nobody has a chance to live through what Morgan will put the world through. Innocent people will die as well as Morgan herself and possibly even Ororo. I know it's easy to let go now, Alison. I have wanted to let go many times, but I understood my purpose. You are the HEART of the Six. You are everything they wish they could be. You are powerful, intelligent and headstrong. Of course people are going to feel threatened by you. But now the task at hand is bigger than all of us. The Alison that protected her brother and sister from their demented mother when she was so young and the Alison who struck out on her own to follow her own path is the Alison that is standing before me here and now. I have given into my darker side to come here, partly on Ororo's request but on an even larger spectrum because I love you. I would die for you, Alison... Come back to us.. We need you know more than ever..."

::Alison put her hand to her chest. her typically cold , marble hard heart..began to BEAT anew....and she felt a warmth that she had ignored/denied for years....she couldnt help but feel the sincerity in Erika's words...and at that moment, she remembered their times as young sisters..the good moments...even the bad moments, where she defended Erika from their mother. it was all so HUMAN for Alison, who had spent YEARS trying to negate her own humanity...for POWER...but it was just ...a shield. and now...in this realm where there were no competitions, no bitchy battles..just the souls of two sisters...Alison...shed a tear.::
erika....I.......thank you....
::looking up....high above, there was a portal....which was being FIRMLY held open by Ororo...she looked back at Erika...and for the first time..in more than a DECADE...she said something that no one ever thought would come out her mouth or heart::
and ...i love you too
:: she embraced Erika...and at that moment...she felt herself and her sister being enraptured...and pulled back through the portal..back into the room in Ororo's citadle. Alison's soul reunited with her body...as she GASPED and sat upright in the canopy bed::
::COUGH ...COUGH!!!...GASP:: Ororo??.....Erika??

** Loud roaring thunder clapped in the background of Ororo's calm gardens, which immediately caused Foxfire to spring to her feet. Breathing heavier, she sucked in the sweet air but her eyes were glued to the horizon not far from them. **
"Morgan....no.."
** She whispered to herself, Blaze could strongly feel exactly what Morgan was doing. Based on their rapport, Blaze and Morgan were able to sense what the other felt, even with Spellbinder's psi screen. Gasping with freight, Blaze's emerald eyes went wide. Her heart racing faster than ever before. She felt the extreme adrenaline rush coursing through her body. Guardian's own prediction was correct, the Seer knew all along, and she attempted to inform the others countless of times but only Blaze listened. And now, lady Ororo's words lingered in her mind as well. **
"ALL of you owe her a debt of gratitude. She did what NONE of you could have done. She stood against the power of the dark child...and allowed you to survive what was the most violent moment of this nightmare so far."
** Blaze could have sworn she heard the demons howling with triumph of the success their majesty had unleashed. Stepping around Haleigh and Cameron, Blaze strained her eyes to attempt to see what was really going on. But she already knew, her feelings and emotions mapped out the whole picture. **
"She's opening the stepping disks....Ororo and Alison were right. Time is drawing near....I only hope Ororo can help Alison before its too late."
** Foxfire felt the massive power shift just a few miles or so away. Stumbling back, she wrapped her arm around the trunk of the same Oak tree Alexis previously stood by. Morgan wielded so much anger and rage! It was overwhelming for Blaze, she had never in her life known Morgan to be this ruthless....this evil. Another roar of thunder made Blaze jerk in her footing. That same thunder belonged to Morgan, it was more louder and powerful then any other storm. **
"Alison tried to warn us....she showed me Haleigh's death or rather what was to come....and I can FEEL Morgan's destructive ways...her hordes of demons coming to the city."
** Fox felt like a fool for not listening to Alison enough or for even Morgan! Morgan admitted she was not herself and now it was coming undone. The inferno was beginning and Blaze felt it. Spellbinder was coming....for all of them...including Blaze! **
"We should have listened....and if Alison does make it, we owe her a deep apology and much needed gratitude and ANYONE who feels differently can speak to me about it personally!"
Ororo

::Ororo stood up from her seat...and quickly moved over to Erika and the bed.::
Ororo: quickly child...deactivate the spell and pull yourself together! traveling to the realm of spirits is not an easy task for ANYONE.
::sitting down on the bed, as she smoothly sweeps her cape to the side, Ororo checks the newly revived Alison and her vital signs::
be calm, child. You have just returned to the realm of the living. :: smiling warmly to the bewildered alison:: and you have your sister, Erika to thank for it. Welcome back.
::looking at Erika:: you have remarkable strength and courage young one. Your serenity is your strength, but let this be your first lesson in seeing how to EMBRACE the darker elements of that serenity. You CAN accomplish what must be done... without compromising the integrity of your soul. I learned that...the hard way.
::Erika did not know of Ororo's own past...how she came to be this elegant sorceress and mentor to so many from different times. But unknown to Erika....she would HAVE the opportunity to learn that..and more::
:: as she allowed Erika and Alison to interact, Ororo stood up...feeling the foundation of her citadle and her garden tremble...there was a tremendous flux of power in the realm of Limbo...a harsh tearing of time and space....::
spellbinder....it has begun. the invasion of NYC is at hand!

:: Cameron was turning in his somewhat half awake and half asleep state. Suddenly his mind began to fill with images. Flashes of NYC with hordes of demons, biting and chewing away at the flesh of the people. He saw a young child and moutainous platteaus and hills uprising and uprooting the mighty skyscrapers. It looked like Hell on Earth. He could hear a loud and stereophonic laugh in the background. It was Morgan. He shot up. His rest had pretty much left him mobile though his powers were still weak as he stood up from the ground to hear the end of Blaze's speech. ::
"Blaze.. I saw it.. I saw what she is doing. We have to get Ororo. We have to stop this now! I saw the demons killing and murdering the people, even young children. It has to stop.. We need to set all pettiness aside. We have to work together. Only the unified power of the Six will be ANY chance to stop it.. Come ON! We can't just sit here!"
:: Prophet turned to Haleigh and picked her up from the ground as they both dusted their hands off. He turned back to the group and looked extremely worried. ::
"We may have brought on this wave of destruction but instead of placing the blame somewhere why don't we stop what we have helped create. We need to save the city and keep Morgan alive..."
:: Everyone was shocked at what he was saying. Cameron was actually entertaining that killing Morgan WASNT the best way to deal with all of this. That was a sign of extreme growth in character on his part as he usually used killing Morgan as a solution to all problems. ::
"Do you think Ororo and the others will be done soon? We don't have much time.. My premonition told me it was now.. or in the next few minutes..."

< Erika held her sister in a warm but brief embrace as both were thrown back into their physical bodies with Alison flying up in her bed and Erika pulling herself off of the floor. Immediately she stood up and closed her fists as the Static like field within the Citadle faded and the blue vortex shut with a flash of bright light. She began to cough and get reoriented into her body as he was sighing heavily, her chest heaving up and down. She looked at Ororo. >
"Ororo.. Thank you for your words.. I would not have been able to do this without your guidance..It felt good to have control of that darkness..to not let it hurt anybody..."
< She quickly changed the subject. >
"But I am just glad we have Alison back. <places hand on her sister's shoulder> I was so afraid I had lost you Alison. Never do that to me again."
< Erika watched as Ororo was stepped back as it seemed the Citadle was rumbling for a moment. She wasn't sure exactly what was going on but Ororo seemed to. She announced that Spellbinder had been successful. It had begun. Limbo was rising to the Earth. >
"We must get the others!!"

** Trying to relax, Blaze kept her eyes straight ahead. She knew it was just a matter of time. Cameron's thrashing caught her attention when he sat up abruptly. Blaze saw the same horror mirrored in her own eyes. She felt it and it was obvious he saw it! **
"I can't imagine having to visualize it....but we should wait. I know you want to speak with Ororo but she instructed us not to disturb her. I think we should wait....she'll need all the concentration she can get with Erika while they tend to Alison."
** Walking over to Cameron, she was much shorter than he was. So of course she had to strain her neck unlike Morgan who was eye level with him. Sighing heavily, Blaze kept her eyes locked with Prophet. She didn't care if he probed her mind or looked into her future. For once she didn't mind at all. **
"I think this group has made a decision then...we stay together and help those people..."
** Glancing over to Alexis and then Haleigh, both of them shared the same agreeable look. With a nod, she turned to Cameron. She did owe Cameron an apology....and now was the time to do so. Biting down on her lower lip, she sucked in another breath. **
"I'm sorry Cameron....I was so quick to judge you like my sister. I didn't really see behind your mask....until now. If we make this out...then I would like to start over....maybe even now...if its not too late."
** Reaching out her left palm, Blaze extended it to shake hands. Her way of a peace offering to what had erupted in the past and now present. Cameron was the last and probably the most she owed an apology to. She had nothing to lose....at least he would know her sorrow. **

:: Cameron was a little weary to accept Blaze's apology. After everything they had been through. She was still connected to Morgan and that was a rough spot for him. It was pretty much the biggest reason that Alison and himself didn't get along. He went back and forth in his head before he slowly extended his hand as a sign of gratitude. He had nothing to lose either. She obviously was reaching out to him and if he had learned anything through this it was not to cut loose the people who were trying to be there for him. Before long both of their hands were embraced in a firm handshake ::
"I like the sound of that Blaze..."
:: He took back his hand as he tried to patiently wait for Ororo and the others ::
"This is killing me.. we have to do something..."

Gather yourselves together. We now prepare to venture into the heart of profound darkness. Goddess grant our powers are sufficient to save the citizens and protect each other. no matter what happens ...we must stay together! ::there was a hint of cryptic tone in the last half of her statement..::
::as the winds rose...ororo's hair and cape flowed ...swirling leaves encircled the group as their bodies were enveloped by sparkling green magick..and with a BLAST of thunder...they were teleported from the safety and tranquility of Ororo's garden......to what could only be described as simply HELL ON EARTH as they arrive just STEPS away from Time Square. they could SEE the large, swirling vortex of a stepping disc in the sky....it was shaking..and flickering...but demons continued to fall from the sky...raining down ..crashing onto car's and buildings....as the buildings themselves now took on a more "ancient" stone like appearence and had DEMONIC FACES...all sorts of inanimate objects began to come to evil life...as fires were erupting.....power was fluxuating, people were screaming.... UTTER CHAOS::
