Chris Brown's rehabilitation of his image is OFFICIALLY OVER. MediaTakeOut.com learned that this morning, Chris Brown had a VIOLENT OUTBREAK in the offices of Good Morning America.

It all started when GMA reporter ROBIN ROBERTS asked him about the Rihanna incident. Chris tried to brush it off, but Robin, who felt the situation was "serious" wouldn't let it go.

Anyways, Chris managed to struggle through the interview. But when it was over MediaTakeOut.com learned that Chris THREATENED show producers. He ripped off his shirt and threw a chair at a window - breaking the glass. The shattered glass fell onto a CROWDED New York street, where passers by COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED. Luckily it doesn't appear that anyone was injured.

After Chris violent outbreak, the singer ran onto the NYC streets - flanked by his bodyguards. As of 9:56 AM MediaTakeOut.com is told that the NYC POLICE are looking into the matter and would like to bring Chris Brown in for QUESTIONING

As of right now, it looks like Breezy is getting ARRESTED!!! We've been TRYING to ride with Chris, but it's now clear that dude has SERIOUS ISSUES. He was given his second chance . . . now it may be time to LOCK THIS DUDE UP!!!!

Ever since the Rhianna thing I have no liked Chris Brown. He just gets on my nerves and this made it worse for me. He's screwing up his life, badly.

I agree, Heidi. I despise people who batter and he's no exception. He thinks he should be able to do what he did and people overlook it. Not gonna happen.

His "comeback" is OVER now.

I couldn't believe that they were going to have him perform on dancing with the stars next week. I hope they'll change their minds now.

didn't he die? or is it just his career I'm thinking of?

if his career wasnt dead before, it sure will be NOW and that's what he gets! to me, he's just as repugnant as Ike Turner.

I lost all respect for him after the Rihanna incident, so to me he's already insignificant. But wow...talk about continuing to dig your own grave lol.

I was hoping that he could change, would get some help post-Rihanna.

I can even understand the irritation at it being brought back up AGAIN, but he is really off a cliff...he needs to shut down whatever he has left and fix himself.

He needs to realize his career is over. if he is gonna continue on like this I think its time to give up

Just to note on this, there is apparently a fan backlash against ABC for bringing it up.

the same fans who have stood by him through it all no doubt. that's all well and good (for them) but i maintain as i have from the beginning how many of these fans would be so blindly loyal and supportive if it were THEIR daughter, sister or friend he had attacked and pummeled?

i dont care whose tired of it...HE DID IT. He doesnt get to do that AND dictate other's reactions to it and if you dont want to have to account for something time and again...think about that before you put your hands on someone.

I think its GREAT that people keep bringing it up in this day and age. Let that be a message to the next person who thinks they will "chris brown" their girlfriend.

And why should he get to go on like nothing happened just because he's sold some albums? Whatever.
