So no doubt you heard about "the Game" and its return to TV last night. it debuted on BET and broke a couple broadcast/rating records for the channel. 7.7 million viewers in all tuned in.

The format changed from a half hour to a full hour and picks up 2 years where the show ended (plot wise) in its 3rd season after it was cancelled on CW.

I've watched it off and on in reruns (when I still had cable) and it wasnt bad! It had some actresses and actors I recognized among them Tia Mowry, Wendy Raquel Robinson and that fine ass Hosea Chanchez

The creator of the show is the same women who created Girlfriends and its co-produced by Kelsey Grammar ("Fraiser", "Beast" from X-men 3). He also co-produced "Girlfriends"

The show is very "now" and has lots of drama, some predictable "laugh" moments, beautiful people and pop culture references. But its nice to see a show that features a cast that isnt ALL white that is generating this kind of buzz.

I was a big fan/support of "Living Single" back in the day...so was my mom! It SUCKED that it was cancelled after just 5 years and i believe it was said at the time that the show couldnt compete with "Friends" which was the juggernaut of the day. But hell...to me Living Single was more witty and funny than "Friends" sometimes.

Well, itll be interesting to see if the newly revived "The Game" can do well. Its RARE that shows get 2nd chances and even MORE rare that they thrive in those 2nd chances.
