What soaps do you watch? (if any) who are your favorite soap actors/actresses?
With the cancelling of Guiding Light and now As The World Turns, Can you imagine daytime TV WITHOUT soaps?? personally I dont even want to try. :(
For me, my absolute FAVORITE soap is "The bold & the beautiful" I've been watching it on and off since its debut in 1987. My favorite soap actress is Darlene Conley (R.I.P.) who played "Sally Spectra" on B&B from 1989 thru 2006 until her untimely passing in the beginning of 2007. I also like Susan Flannery, who plays "Stephanie Forrester" on B&B. She was recently the winner of "most popular daytime soap actress" until recently when Hunter Tylo (who plays "Taylor" on B&B) replaced her in that category.
B&B currently holds the guiness book of world records spot for "most popular soap opera on the globe" and is consistently 2nd ONLY to its sister show "The young and the restless" in most of the major ratings categories for daytime soaps.
I'm not the BIGGEST "soap fan" but i COULD see myself going to a meet and greet for the B&B cast if they ever came close enough to where I live. :) I'd love to meet some of the actors, actresses and get some autographs.
