Resident Evil: Afterlife, the fourth installment in the zombie apocalypse franchise, will be coming our way Sept. 10 in 3D—shot with the same cameras used by Avatar.

Until then, we'll have to settle for this 2D Milla Jovovich, unveiled at the Ultimate Resident Evil site (if you call that settling).

Check it out below!

Jovovich stars with Ali Larter and Wentworth Miller in a film reportedly heavily influenced by the Resident Evil 5 video game.

i think its gonna be hard to find new places to g since they destroyed the world in the last movie

not really, they showed that there were signs and possibility of recovery in various spots around the world and Claire Redfield was last seen heading for Canada so they'll probably address what happened with the caravan there too.

that poster IS hot, i must say! i hope that Jill Valentine will appear in the movie too. She needs too! she's so central to the RE storyline.

^^ I doubt it. In the trailers i've seen it seems to be centralized around Mila's character and now Ali Larter's character. Unless she's a recast of Jill Valentine.

Either way, the movie looks like it's going to be pretty cool.

Oh this is GREAT! I was gonna say to Sam that Ali Larter plays "Claire Redfield" who was a character in the RE 2 (and RE code veronica) video game. Sienna Guilroy (sp) played Jill in RE: Apocolypse, but in the RE games, Jill is the central character of many of the games where as "Alice" from the RE movies doesnt exist in the video games.

this is WONDERFUL to see that Jill is coming back! :nod:
