No real information other than the renewal. I just hope now that the show redeemed itself this season from last season's debacle, that they won't go and unredeem themselves in Season 10 and end on crap.

i'm sort of half and half on this cause while i do like the episodes of Smallville that they get the comic writers to actually write (Legion and JSA episodes) some of the series really drags its heels to Clark becoming Superman

Well there has been conjecture that they would go into a sort of "spin off" with characters other than the brothers. I'm NOT saying that's what's happening, just that I heard a rumor.
