Next Generation EMail / IM by Google!

So, has anybody heard of the new thing that Google is developing? Its called Google Wave...and if it catches on (which its Google so I'm sure it will) it will revolutionize Email and IM. Of course there is more.... Its basically going to combine all those wonderful Google services: maps, docs, email, chat, etc. Into one amazing application. Its not due out till about the middle of next year, a "preview" version is currently up, tho it is by invitation only. Check it out:

I'm currently on it but i got to say its a little dull on the wave. even searching public waves its fun and does have this "we're changing communication feeling" but its also a bit boring.

Agreed, I'm not as impressed as I expected to be. It's not the "thing that will replace message boards" that people have been saying. At least not yet.
