I had to post this video because I love the song and for some reason, I really feel like a big part of the inspiration for the video came from the Alien movie franchise, and I was talking about Alien recently with Miss Jill Munroe and I wanted to see if she as well as you all can see where i'm coming from?

i see a few faint image nods to the "Alien" film franchise for sure. I also see some things that could be taken from the film "Barbraella". there's also some moments toward the end, that greenish bejeweled outfit she's wearing reminds me of the Madonna photo shoot in W magazine back in 2003-04. I cant remember who she collaborated with but the costumes were very far out and dreamy and had a very "cosmic" feel to them. AND there's the outfit she's wearing that clearly must be a nod to what Milla Jovovich was wearing in "5th Element".

I'm impressed by lady gaga because she's so avant garde...but she's not using it to compensate for a lack of something else. she writes her own music, she's passionate about what she does and she doesnt give a fuck what people think...she REALLY doesnt !LOL! Madonna, Grace Jones & Cher should be proud!

Yeah, Lady Gaga is really a conceptual artist and I like that. The scene I was referring to where the sleeping pods and then during the breakdown where she is like "Walk walk fashion baby" and she is in the gold thing with the headdress that looks like some fantasy recreation of the "alien" in Alien.



I am going to see her December 14th in San Francisco! SOOOO EXCITED!

yeah the pods and all definately...even when the dancers were first crawling out, because of the costumes they faintly resembled the alien's overall style.

i wouldnt mind seeing her in concert. she needs to come to nashville and turn this town on its ear LOL!

I thought this video was HOT too. This is Beyonce ft. Lady Gaga in Beyonce's Single "Video Phone" and I have to admit that Lady Gaga definitely outshines Beyonce in this video.. (don't tell anyone I said that!)

Gaga comes in at about the 2:27 mark.

i wasnt too moved by this song or video. i didnt even REALIZE i had already heard it on the radio without knowing who the artists were. having seen the video i just felt like it was OVERWROUGHT. it was OBVIOUS "the powers that be" wanted to pair Lady Gaga (who is arguably the first TRUE "2nd coming" of Madonna) with Beyonce...but in a world where Lil Wayne has appeared with EVERY big name artist including Madonna on a song/vid...this pairing just didnt have the shock and awe value.

i was MORE impressed by the pairing of Beyonce (whom i cant stand ) with Shakirah a couple years back in "Beautifull Liar".

Yeah, "Video Phone" was already released on Beyonce's "I Am...Sasha Fierce" album and since Beyonce already collaborated with Gaga on her new song "Telephone" they thought it would be interesting to have Gaga on "Video Phone"

Beyonce just comes in for a little bit and then goes away, which I am sure Jill will love haha. But B has a nice and hot part.

I agree it didn't do what I think they were intending, but seeing them together like that for was pretty much an orgasm LOL!
