View Full Version : Into the Night
Erika King
05-09-2005, 10:06 PM
< Using Erika's powers augmented with the power of Spellbinder's stepping Disks, the group was teleported from the Skyrise Complex of Illustra Inc. to the rather large Newport Beach Estate of Erika King. They had been teleported a little off course of what Erika had been thinking and in fact they were now in back of the main house and down a few hundred feet towards the edge of the cliff where a deadly drop would meet anyone that wandered too far off the edge. The view of the Ocean and Private Beach that Erika owned however was extremely spectacular. The full moon shown bright over the night sky and seemed to set a tone for the rest of the evening. Erika however took an extremely different meaning to this Moon. It was an omen of things to come. Witches almost lived by the phases of the Moon. It taught them when to work their magick or what was to come. A slight wind flowed through Erika's hair as she closed her eye to take in a breath of the sea air, something she had desperately missed while she was in New York. She didn't understand how Morgan and Alison could live in such a nature devoid place as New York City or around so many people. Witches needed to be free but grounded creatures. They are supposed to understand the inner workings of nature and people, and seeing the severity of her situation now, being on her home playing field would be a very good advantage for her. She sighed as she said a silent prayer to the Goddess of which she worked with in almost everything. Selene. Goddess of the Moon. >
"Matris , commodo servo mihi ut a filia of luna. Tribuo mihi vires quod virtus ut visio malum ut sto pro mihi. Servo meus ago quod ago illorum iuxta mihi."
< She turned back to face the group of people who were now getting up and recovering from any injuries that they had suffered during their time in the Penthouse. Seeing Haleigh and Blaze as well as the others, she walked slowly up to them. Though it was pretty dark outside, Erika's bright silver eyes were unmistakable (think Sin City) as she looked at the group with great concern and at her brother Cameron who had just joined the group. >
"I trust you are all okay? Well perhaps not emotionally, but physically. I have had Morgan teleport you all to my own Estate in Newport Beach. We have come here because things have escalated to a degree that is too dangerous for any of you to deal with there. Now if you will please follow me back up to the path and to the attic on the third floor, I can tell you what you missed whilst you were all frozen. And to let you know, what you are dealing with, now involves me, and while I might not be your favorite person I know more than all of you now, so if you will kindly drop your egos as you enter my house, I will appreciate it. Remember, while I was a guest on YOUR turf, I was more than respectful, and that is all I ask in return from you. Now.. follow me."
< Erika turned back around as she followed the stepping stone pathway and underneath the trees and flowers that surrounded her in the backyard garden as she made her way to the back door steps and to the door, turning the handle as light flooded into the house, waiting for the rest to follow her. >

<<thunder BLASTED in the skies above...a reminder that unlike Erika, Morgan's magick was NOT of the earth....and that she did not possess the same restraints as Erika>>
JUST A MINUTE!
I'm not going ANYWHERE with you.
You...YOU.....lead her to us! You LEAD that woman....an ALLY of BLACK and of MYSTECH to Illustra! THIS is all YOUR FAULT! You and your DEMENTED SIBLING! The ONLY reason i teleported us was because.....i was too STUNNED by the fact that Witchfire was ALIVE to act effectively.
<< gesturing violently at Prophet, without looking at him>>
Alison, Delilah and I are NOT at your mercy....you amateur....and if you think for one moment that I'm going to allow us to enter into your abode where you may try to bewitch us...you are SADLY mistaken.
you can take THOSE three if you want...<< point at Shockwave, Prophet and Black Widow>> two of them have already betrayed The Six and are no longer fit to return to Illustra.........
<< looking at Foxfire....Morgan paused for a moment.....the breeze blew through her blonde, double highlighted hair. her face...for a moment lost its unforgiving, hostile countenance...as she wasnt sure WHERE she stood on the subject of her sister. only a few hours ago ...she had mangled her sister's face and jaw..but at that moment, just as it was in Haleigh's apartment moments ago...Morgan had been over taken by Kelly's corrosive influence. The fact that her ties to Limbo and her already emerging demonic nature had made her MORE susceptible didnt seem to occurr to anyone except Alison, Delilah and Morgan in her now RARE moments of composure>>

Haleigh took the cigarrette gladly, leaning forward as Blaze lit it, taking a deep drag and sighing. She watches Blaze suspiciously as the woman looks down at her phone... she wants badly to ask who it is... but Blaze obviously has no interest telling... and so she takes another drag instead. She looks up as Erika approaches them, a playful smile on her face.
"Does this mean i get to smash your front door to splinters and disrupt your peaceful evening?" She winks and holds her cigarrette up. "just kidding. Does this mean i have to put this out?" she asks, a more serious look, licking her lips slowly. She turns as Morgan interrupts... she's had more than her fill of Morgan for the day... and a menacing glare takes over her face... she was sick of retreating and letting Morgan and her psychosis run amuck. Logically, she knew she should say nothing, and that what she was about to do would probably just strain things even worse... but it had to be said... Haleigh was going insane keeping it in.... she was never one to let people walk all over her and she wasnt about to start.
"Listen to me you histrionic, bipolar, vicious bitch. You are going to shut your skinny little beanpole ass up and tag along.... because this is as much YOUR FAULT as anyone elses. Your delusions of granduer are PISSING ME OFF. Erika King came to HELP us, and she came AFTER that troublesome doctor did... she's done NOTHING but help us so far and your ungrateful attitude is NOT HELPING THE SITUATION. If you hadn't tried to abet that SNIVELING doctor gray in the FIRST place, we'd all be a LOT better off. But NO.... nobody listens to Haleigh, the resident homicidal maniac. And ANOTHER thing.... If you so much as LOOK at Cameron, Blaze, or Myself with a hint of contempt, I'll smack you so fucking hard you'll be able to rotate your head completely around your shoulders like a FUCKING OWL. If anyones guilty of betrayal around here, its YOU, Rabbit... YOU are the one who betrayed your own SISTER... and your team... because we didnt swallow all the SHIT you tried to feed us. Now you've become some kind of tyrant sociopath... You EMBARRASS me. You EMBARRASS your sister, acting like this. You EMBARRASS yourself. I'd like to think there's SOMETHING in you that we're trying to save from LIMBO... WHY DONT YOU MAKE AN EFFORT TO HELP US HELP YOU? Now get in the fucking house, I wont ask you twice."
She said, in a near growl. she knew she didnt have much to threaten with.... and that a show down would be BAD... but she had hoped she struck a nerve with the Limbo thing... she needed Morgan to become a little more pliant... they all needed to be just a little less rigid and egotistical, Erika was right.

<< Spellbinder snapped her finger...and Haleigh was encompassed by shards of magick as she was transformed into a gnarled tree...that was deeply rooted into the ground>>
let me remind you..who has the power here.
<< she pointed...and blasted the tree with eldritch mystic flame....engulfing it completely>>
now...lets review the facts...SHALL WE??
<< she stood posed....as she watched Haleigh burn>>
YOU, BLAZE and CAMERON defended Rachel Gray ....tried to KEEP us from dispatching her. YOU have been NOTHING but a liability since you came through my doors months ago...and your POWERS ...along with your EXISTENCE are LESS THAN USELESS. YOU are the one who is under a serious delusion sweetie...if you think for ONE MOMENT that i will not DESTROY YOU or any ONE OF THEM right here right NOW!
<< Morgan snapped her fingers again...deactivating her "body transformation spell" as well as the blast of mystic flame, allowing Haleigh to fall to the ground>>
Or...perhaps we could continue this conversation...privately...in LIMBO, since you're so HOT on trying to show me what a big tough bad ass you are you dillapidated can opener.

::Guardian ran up to Morgan and grabbed her hand::
Morgan PLEASE....if anyone knows just how little TIME there is...it's ME. I've SEEN what will happen to us if you let Kelly, or any of those TRAITORS over there get to you.
REMEMBER what Ororo SAID! You dont need Haleigh OR Cameron....you have ME and Delilah now......we saw just as you did, the danger that Rachel posed...and we were ready to help you destroy her. But her plans were carefully laid...she managed to throw us all off balance. Erika....as much as i now despise her....prooved to be pivotal....and as much as i hate to admit it....both my senses as a tactician AND as a precog tell me that for us to successfully eliminate Kelly...we must work with Erika.
:: she kept Morgan from moving forward to kick Haleigh while she was down::
DONT LET HER GET TO YOU NOW!
This is all she has EVER been good for...use her for the workhorse that she is....and when we destroy Kelly...we can throw Haleigh out Illustra, black ball her ...whatever it takes. But for now........we must NOT let the influence of Kelly effect US the way it effected THEM << pointing at Haleigh, Cameron and Blaze.

Haleigh mightve winced, or even screamed... except she couldnt move... She wanted to leap forward and strangle the bitch, except she couldnt... for a few breif seconds she could do nothing except try to think about something other than the burn that swallowed her entire body... she fell to her hands and knees as Morgan released her... she had a fleeting urge to retaliate... but didnt, she just looked up at Morgan with bloodshot eyes as she got up slowly. She eyed Gaurdian... she didn't NEED that meddlesome woman trying to save her. She locked eyes with Morgan, standing up straight, almost daring Morgan to try something again.
"Was that Supposed to hurt? You think YOU have the power here? You haven't even the power to control YOURSELF. your facts are a tad skewered, Rabbit. I wanted to KILL the bitch... I might've even been at your SIDE in this... except that you were always so near attacking me that i would have been in constant peril even trying to help you... I never protected her... I kept you from dispatching your OWN SISTER.... You think you're a one-woman squad... you wouldn't have survived the CITADLE if it werent for me... but I dont care if you realize that. Yes, lets GO to limbo... you can show your PRECIOUS ORORO that you've become nothing more than a depraved, cold-hearted killer. JUST. LIKE. ME. Is that what you want? To be just like me? Well... I'm flattered."
Haleigh turned her glare on Guardian, now that she'd addressed Morgan, she could rebut Guardian's less than generous comments about her. "Hey, Miss Alison KING... FUCK YOU very much. Throw me out.... pshh... I'll fucking leave of my own free will, who in their right mind would want to live in the same zip code with you two lunatics? You aren't going to use me for SHIT. Let me enlighten YOU, as well. ..... We are a TEAM... we need to start acting like it. ALL of us." Haleigh didnt know where the last part came from... and she seemed almost surprised that she'd said it... because she'd wanted to enlighten Alison with something entirely different originally.... but once she heard it aloud... she knew it was true. separating in the citadle nearly spelled the end of several of them... and it would not do to try that again.

** The moon also affected Blaze in more then just one way besides witches. She felt the pull of it through her emotionally and physically. Blaze felt her strength increasing drastically, doubling to her own amount, smiling brightly. Her pearly white fangs elongating further but they stopped just short of her bottom lip. Her green eyes losing their green tint, instead they begin to glow a pastel blue before stopping onto a faint dark gray. Her eyes moved onto Morgan, locking onto her sister's. She addressed her calmly rather then aggressively. **
"Have I physically harmed you Morgan? No, my only crime was standing up so passionately to you. You can think to what you desire...but know this....your own rage will be your downfall, not mine. Threaten me all you like Morg, I stopped caring the second you pummeled me.....and you know what I thought? I thought how much you're like BLACK! That unholy creature who attacked and brutalized me. I wish I could help you but apparently I'm not worthy of your love or affection, only Guardian and Morningstar are...I lost a sister today, lost her to her own psychotic desires, her name was Morgan V. Victoria."
** Blaze's eyes dimmed in color, breaking eye contact. Turning her back on everyone, she headed towards Erika's house. She knew some of the secrete codes they lived by, stopping just a few feet from her door. Blaze reached inside her jacket, pulling out a p22, its black metal shinning brightly in the light. Clicking on the safety, she placed the gun on one of the small statues outside Erika's house. Kneeling down to her boot, she lifted up her pant leg to expose a tattoo. Suddenly a silver blade was shown, dropping this off too. Standing up, she pulled off her belt, dropping this too. Nodding her head gracefully to Erika, signaling she was unarmed. **
"I'm ready."
** Taking a step inside Erika's place, Blaze ignored the whole group who continued to argue. It was only drawing more fuel to her fire, and now was not the time to annoy Blaze in her metamorphous. However she did control her change, only her eyes and partial view of her fangs were seen. But the smell of patchouli oil calmed her inner beast, it seemed Erika was as much a free spirit as Blaze. She had no desire to argue, she was through with it, and right now she was fed up. Her cold chill was unlike Blaze, more of Morgan's style but she's not the only sibling to be affected by these events. If anything, Blaze is withdrawing herself from everyone she cares deeply for....including Haleigh, Cameron, and Alexis, but most of all Morgan. Guardian's statement about Morgan only needing herself and MS deeply carved a chunk of compassion from Foxfire. Now, she was on defense, putting up deep stone walls, retreating to an ice Queen. That lively fire was gone. Replacing this was a drone with little or no emotional. Blaze could feel her heart freezing up inside but she didn't stop the process, she welcomed it. She was angry for even being rescued, Blaze would have rather be dead then suffer through this heartache. **
Nothing really matters anymore. They all sit there and continue to be hostile with each other. Too blind to see the fates have sealed their lives. I'm myself am fading, fading away....
** Wrapping her arms around her chest, Blaze listened to the silence inside of Erika's house. It was impressive and elegant, like her. She couldn't think anymore, it was painful to Fox. She knew the third floor was the location to pin point but she didn't want to seem rude. Instead she waited for Erika to give her the blessing upstairs or to even guide her. Massaging the back of her neck, Blaze's mind quickly flashed to an image. **
!! FLASHBACK!!
** A large spacious department store could be seen through a brutal storm on the roof tops of Tiffany & Co. A powerful Demon Sorceress with protective battle armor was visible, daring her enemies to approach. When suddenly a flash of powerful white lightning struck down on the rooftop revealing an enchanted beauty with large outstretched wings, a dark faerie or former. Blaze's mind revealed more about the both of them, expressing their bond and the final days leading to Betrayal's death. The dark Faerie stood in front of Darkchilde plunging the sword through her heart. Blaze screamed in pain, she felt a strange connection to the dark Faerie as the image faded away. **
!! FLASHBACK Ended !!
** Collapsing onto her knees, the room spun for Blaze who struggled to regain herself. She quickly touched her heart, preparing for the warm liquid. She was taken back when she saw no wound. Gasping at how real the image was, she knew it was a lesson. Little did Blaze know but she was connected to the dark Faerie just like Spellbinder was connected to Darkchilde. Getting to her feet, Blaze felt the raw emotions and the hurt of DC who mourned her beloved friend's death. What was more disturbing to Foxfire was she saw her own death at the hands of Morgan in a similar way but from the cause of Blaze herself. She pretended to be okay but the beads of sweat trickled down her forehead, her facade was broken. The flashback was beyond anything Blaze ever saw. It frightened her, but she would continue to see this night to the end. As lost as Foxfire felt, she would survive, with or without her sister. **

::Guardian laughed in a sort of surprised, yet mocking way at Haleigh::
Haleigh Davidoff...you've been a pawn and a dupe since your days as a high tech GOFER for that agency you now think you own. Apparently your time in the Citadle did little to enlighten you on your station in life as a HAND MAIDEN to those who are clearly your better.
::she smirked with wicked delight::
Let us not begin to entertain the possibilities of what I will do to you if you do not shut your mouth shortly....and for future reference....if you want to keep the physical integrity of your body in tact... i suggest you remember that my name is Alison MARBLE.
Do not attempt to use ORORO as a means to control Morgan, for even ORORO has spoken of YOUR amoral , fractured psyche and how YOU will play a role in Morgan's descent into darkness....your CONSTANT provocation of her...and your not so subtle attempts to ingratiate yourself to her sister have NOT gone unnoticed by others both here and elsewhere! When the floor drops.....you will have no one but YOURSELF to blame.
:: she immediately pressed past Haleigh. hoping that Haleigh would travel down one of several probable threads of time that she had foreseen....giving her more than ample reason to destroy her body right then and there::

<< Morgan was feeling overwhelmed. she didnt trust half of her team....and she didnt think Delilah and Alison could truly help her...the longer she stood there, she could feel the blackness of her dark soul swelling and rising. it was just like that image that Ororo showed her years ago....that of a dark, glowing orb in the center of Ororo's on chest. A sign of her connection to Limbo and the corruption. BUT Ororo had won her soul back, reasserted her TRUE self and rose above the traditional sense of "good/evil". Morgan might not be so lucky...for she did not have the support of her team. Of them all...only Alison and Delilah remained loyal and true, while Blaze inexplicably drew close to Haleigh....it was such an insult to Morgan....she wanted to expunge the both of them.>>
<< She began to develope a headache...a painfull headache that was more than physical. No longer was KELLY enabling her loss of self control...it was now taking on a new dimension and as she struggled to pull herself back...it made her weary in the mind.>>
I'm.....NOT .....going in there.....his....family...is responsible for the destruction of MINE.......and how....YOU ....can stand to be in their presence......<< gritting teeth and clenching fist>>
<< with the sound of rushing winds , Spellbinder lifted off the ground and took off....flying high and over the cliff and streaked off into the night sky. where she was going was anyone's guess...but it was evident she wasnt willing to trust anyone right now. leaving her allies, Guardian and Delilah behind. They were more than capable of taking care of themselves. The longer she remained, the more danger she posed to them from within and she needed to release some tension.>>

** Rustling winds alerted Foxfire that her sister was in distress. She knew her probably the best if not second compared to Ororo or Alison. Quickly running outside, she spotted Morgan disappearing into the night clouds. She raised her voice in anger and hurt, pointing at her. **
"that's right LEAVE me! You coward, it was YOU who turned your back on me! NOT the other way around Morgan!! I'm not your scapegoat and your GOING to see me!"
** With a low growl, Blaze's entire body was quickly covered in a blazing inferno. With one skillful leap, she flew into the air. She was going to confront Morgan privately even if Spellbinder detested it, they each had unresolved business. Foxfire knew the other way to catch her sister was fight. Her hot flames scorched, while she searched for her sister. Tracking her unique scent once more, it wasn't too off until Blaze found her. She stopped, landing onto the ground, below Morgan. Her flames disappearing until she was the human form once more. **
"Morgan! Please...you have me figured out ALL wrong. I will NOT go on with this family feud we have. It pains me to see you this way but what is WORSE is I know I was one of the reasons for it. I can't continue on with my own sister hating me....its not fair Morgan. Never did I think you would physically harm me....but you did. Damnit Morgan, I'm losing you! And I DON'T know what to do."
** Blaze's emotions began to boil to the surface. She was upset with her sister but more importantly she was afraid she lost her. Morgan's words echoed in her head, what Ororo warned her about. She needed guidance but Blaze had no one to turn to. Almost everyone on the team detested Morgan. Blaze herself fought the temptation, hidden under her anger lay hurt. Throwing her fists into the air quickly aggressively, she fell to her knees defeated. **
"I have nothing left in my life Morgan....sure I have great clothing or a wonderful job, a nice place to live....well I did. But nothing matters if I don't have my sister! If I am ANYTHING its because of you! And I refuse to let you sink into this darkness, if you go I go!"
** She stood up stronger now, locking eyes with her sister. She knew Morgan could hear every word, even if she didn't want to. Blaze was so determined to get through to her sister, even if it meant endangering her own life. **
"I won't leave you!"

<< looking upon her sister with an empty stare, Morgan was colder than usual...detatched....>>
how can you help what has already begun?
<<standing on a large land mass far out in the ocean...away from prying eyes and minds, Morgan looked around at the vast flowing ocean...the crashing waves provided a mist around the area where she stood as her hair flowed slightly to the side... from the unintentional look of things it was as though she was posing in a photo session>>
from the moment prophet and black widow crossed illustra's threshold, alison and i have been plagued by them. it doesnt MATTER what ORORO said anymore....SHE doesnt have to deal with them. WE DO. But even SHE could see the evil that lies within their selfish souls.
and as for me...why would i WANT to be helped? On earth i am constantly surrounded by people who are eternally ungratefull. NEVER do they notice the good deeds...only the bad. So pressed are they to paint me as "insanely evil" and whatever else, that they are propelled by their never ending ignorance of the bigger picture. In LIMBO I am special....POWERFULL...that realm...it is without the cluttering of people like Black Widow and Prophet. Scores of demons to obey my every will....a magickal heritage that links me to some of the DARKEST MAGICKS known to man......the chance to live my life MY WAY ALL THE TIME!!
<< this was definately NOT normal for Morgan...she was divesting her emotional connection to things and people on earth...the transformation had just taken its next level.>>
Maybe this was the problem all along? I said once before, back on Valiant that i was not meant to be a super heroine....but time and again i was pulled into situations where i had to help people...but what did that ever get me?
YOU...have betrayed me...you fraternized with the ENEMY ...dispite my warnings! You befriend those who would see me RUINED[Haleigh and Cameron] and you join them in the chorus of my "far reaching evils".....What would you have me do Blaze??
<<thunder rumbled in the air>>
I never thought that you would anger me so much that i would attack you...i never thought i had that capacity....Kelly King.....Witchfire....she KNEW that this joke of a team was dangerously unstable...and she found just what she needed to accentuate the weaknesses.... and while she's been in our midst....i've found that my OWN restraint has declined...to the point that now i am far more blood thirsty than i ever was before.
YOU were warned....I TOLD YOU what Ororo said...i asked you to HELP ME and you dismissed me! NOW...it may be too late for me.
I will help destroy Witchfire...in fact...i feel that I should do it ALONE but i know that this is more Alison and her sibling's battle...but when this is over.....
<<turning to look at Blaze....Morgan's face was completely enshrouded in shadow...and her eyes were glowing solid white>>
woe unto those mortals foolish enough to provoke me...for i will no longer owe an allegiance to ANYONE but myself....and i will DESTROY ANYONE who vexes me!
<<Morgan was not herself anymore. Blaze KNEW that under normal circumstances....Morgan would rather have cut off her own hand than STRIKE her own sister....but now, she seemed so far removed from anything Blaze had witnessed before. the faintest sliver of humanity lie deep within her icy cold heart...Blaze would be able to sense even the SMALLEST trace due to her bloodline with Morgan....but Blaze now could see...that the changes that Morgan began to go through had been further accelerated by Kelly King...and that it was no longer a question of IF...but WHEN the floor would drop....just as Alison had pointed out moments earlier. there was.....deep inside...a feeling of dismay from Morgan...dismay at herself and her actions...but slowly she began to grow apathetic.>>

"I'm sorry Morgan."
** Her statement bled every emotion she felt even in front of her blood thirsty sister. As much as Blaze desired to descend into her own self pity and misery, she felt guilty for these troubling events. Morgan's words only supported her theory but she wasn't going to allow Spellbinder the opportunity to relish in her new form of living. **
"Special? Morgan that is absurd! And we both know it, you'd be ruling a bunch of DEMONS who knows what else is down in Limbo. So what your really saying is you prefer a bunch of unintelligent creatures to human beings? Can you hear how ridiculous that sounds? The Morgan I know wouldn't sink to this level. What would Karen say about this, knowing her own daughter was transforming into something hideous that she was changing her whole morals and beliefs, even for you."
** A long freezing chill sliced into Blaze who shuddered at Morgan's own new sense of self, her inhumanity. It was almost like the Grime Reaper was behind her, breathing down her neck. Pulling her black blazer more tightly around her waist to aide some of the heat back into her body. **
"I want to know where we stand Morgan. Besides the fact that if anyone provokes you, they'll be consequences, lethal consequences. You would strike down your own sister? If that is true then what are you waiting for? Throw away everything we have been through to rule the strange realm of Limbo. Throw away the fact, I was there when Black molested you with his evil seeds! When I fought with you against the sentinels! How we both battled them together and you protected me! Your going to sell your soul to Limbo..destroying the memories we both share. That I hold close to my heart, then I guess your already gone. The question is, will my blood satisfy you? Will Haleigh? Or Cameron? Hell, let's throw in Alison too. I'm through with this Morgan, I can't seem to help you no matter how passionate I fight."
** Blaze turned to leave when she stopped. If she was going to appeal to her sister's humanity, she would put it to the test. Blaze knew the legends of Darkchilde and Magik, how each came to be. Reaching inside her jacket, Blaze pulled out a small dagger she had collected. **
"Let me make it easier on you Morgan."
** With one fast motion, Blaze raised the dagger with both hands above her head. Shutting her eyes, she pulled the dagger down towards her heart. Would Morgan stop her? Or was she completely oblivious to it? Either way, both siblings would find out. **

:: Standing back away from the brawl between Haleigh, Morgan, Guardian, and Blaze, Alexis' eyes were in such utter shock...she couldn't believe what was going on. AGAIN, they were at each other's throats while in a supposed crisis. Honestly, it was growing on Alexis' nerves! But she wasn't surprises, especially with how Morgan was acting. She was like a nuclear bomb ready to explode at any minute--anyone who didn't listen to the control freak would "see their end", and Miss Marble would sure be there to help her out. God that woman was on the shortest leash she had ever seen in her life. There's one thing to be loyal, but there's another thing to literally kiss the woman's ass at every conceivable moment. ::
:: Standing in awe as Haleigh was turned into a flaming bush, Morgan flew away, Blaze went into an inferno and flew off too, Alexis lifted her hand to her head and gently began to rub it feeling a headache coming on. "My god." Alexis whispered. She didn't even know how to jump in and stop it...hell. she didn't even know where to start. Frankly she couldn't of been a great help to this bitch fight anyway seeing as how she only knew bits and pieces of what has been happing the past 2 weeks. A Dr. Rachel? Another long lost sister of Cameron's? Jesus. This was unbelievable. Removing her hand from her forehead, she looked up at Haleigh and began to walk toward the redhead. Yes, she and Haleigh never saw eye to eye, or never became the best of friends, but she did respect the woman's opinion and the way she held herself. And in these type of situations Haleigh was right about most things...this one probably following suite. Finally meeting with the woman, she stood next to her. ::
"Look.....I know we aren't on the best of terms, but it looks like there are a hell of a lot more Morgan supporters here then there aren't. So, you might not want to push me away, Haleigh."

<< Morgan's arm extended from her horizontal position to Blaze.. grabbing hold of Blaze's wrist and immediately turning her forearm upward, stopping the blade from reaching her>>
THAT is not necessary...and we both know it.
<< plucking the knife from Blaze, Morgan tosses it away casually as she releases Blaze's hand>>
I took NO JOY in hurting you before...and I would not see you hurt now.
<< her tone was cold and very even>>
I don't have Ororo's wisdom OR her grace....and my MOTHER doesnt have to deal with these insolent clods in The Six...perhaps if I were agorphobic and lived in a state of the art mansion hidden in a private forest/lake area on the east coast ...i TOO might have the luxury of "taking the high road"...but then again neither she NOR YOU can know what it means...or how it FEELS to have an attachment to such a demonic, sorcerous realm....the power that beckons...the life i could lead!
<< she lets go of Blaze's hand>>
you know that before i met you i was an only child..and after i left my mother's to pursue my career in the fashion world, i was accustomed to doing it on my own....and only having myself to depend on. Alison and Delilah.....have been there for me since the LAST time i thought you had died.....i suppose they are my surrogate family.....somehow able to help me INSPITE OF ME.
but now..here you are...fraternizing with haleigh and cameron....it offends me to my core. Just as you feel Delilah and Alison replaced you....THAT is how i feel in regards to your fraternizing with Haleigh and Cameron. and UNLIKE those two YOU deal wiwth...Delilah and Alison care for you, they respect you...and would step in to protect you if i could not. IF I died...they, my mother and Ororo would ALL ensure you would live out your days safely.
NO MATTER WHAT those fools may say....they are only in this for themselves. I may be losing myself, but at least..i have an entire DOMAIN in which to live...and keep you and the world SAFE from my wrath....would EITHER OF THOSE TWO think of anyone OTHER than themselves...NO they would not.
No matter what happens after this Blaze.....remember me as I was.....and remember that i STILL love you.
<<that last statement was probably the LAST moment of "humanity" that Morgan could muster.....she had stopped Blaze from stabbing herself and hurled the dagger away.....and had been very frank and blunt now about this situation between them.>>

** Blaze forced the diamond studded blade in closer to her heart. She knew the pain would be horrendous but perhaps there was a chance? Her instincts proved her correctly when she felt a firm and forceful hold over her wrist. Opening her eyes she saw Spellbinder gripping her hand before tossing the dagger away. Blaze's eyes followed the same path as the knife, watching it sink into the sand with the head buried. She made no attempt to struggle, it proved to her that underneath that black heart still lay a dormant soul. Breathing a sign of relief, Blaze's brazen move paid off. She could feel the blood draining from her circulation until Morgan released it. Her eyes had moved from the weapon to her sister. Blaze firmly listened to probably the final moments of humanity Morgan could contain. **
"You have a good argument and I value that. But I want you to know....no one could ever replace you Morgan. Haleigh and I share things in common sure, but its you who I can truly let my guard down, not them. They may not be perfect and your not either nor am I but we're supposed to be a team. I know that means nothing to you right now and I don't expect it to. But you haven't been replaced, you never have and you never will."
** Blaze felt a lot better knowing she could discuss this situation over with Morgan, one last time. She nodded to her before turning into her elemental flame. Her yellow tinted eyes glowed brightly in the darkness of the night. She turned, gliding into the air like a bird. Her arms outstretched in front of her, Blaze easily returned to Erika's mansion. **
** From the night sky was shown a brilliant flaming object but as it gained more ground, it was identified as Blaze. Landing gently, her flames immediately extinguished, the hot temperature of her element still mixed with the cool chilly air. Walking towards Erika's house once more, she was silent once more. Her behavior as like nothing happened, like she never left. She had her closure to know where herself and Morgan stood, which felt more relaxing. Blaze stopped to see Alexis discussing with Haleigh, a picture she never visualized. **

<< Morgan watched Blaze leave.>>
I wont let anything happen to you << she said softly to herself....>> nor Guardian or MorningStar.....
<< She stood tall on the jagged plateau that jutted out from the ocean...the winds gusted but she did not move...the waves climbed high and smashed against the land mass....but she did not move...as the dark clouds rolled along and the stars in the sky flickered....a boom of thunder and flash of lightning heraled the BRIEF but DEFINATELY "change in scenery" as the ocean and skies gave way to red/violet skies and floating land masses>>
<< it was a fleeting image....and only those attuned to magick wouldve felt the spatial "shift". Morgan was so far out at sea now....but she could easily fly or teleport back to the mansion. for now, she choose to do nothing. she stood tall, motionless....as her hair blowed in the wind which was enhanced by the strong ocean current....and the mist from the sea lightly kissed morgan's smooth skin>>
<< she was surrounded by nature......and while WATER was Erika's element....the WIND was Morgan's....the two elements combined made for some spectcular results....and right now, the winds seemed to flow almost as they were ALIVE with anticipation. Still.....Morgan remained silent and still..standing tall...not moving.>>

[ The change of scenery was somewhat disoritentating, but not unexpected, not in the current climate of affairs. Morningstar expected events to occur with the rapid speed they had... yet somehow, perhaps foolishly, she had expected things would cool just slightly when they were away from Rachel. Clearly, she was wrong, as proved by the rapidly escalating argument between Morgan and Haleigh once again. Ready to step in, she watched as Alison did her thing, then Morgan and Blaze took off once again. ]
[ Her worry deepdning, her brow furrowed as she watched events unfold; first Morgan taking off, then Blaze. In the wake of what happened, she looked slowly around at everyone else, wondering how the hell she managed to let everything sneak past her like that and suddenly be left here, wondering like this. ]
[ Wishing futilely that some people could manage to have a discussion without resorting to grabbing eachother by the metaphorical throats, she glanced at Guardian again, then at Haleigh and Alexis as they spoke. Not wishing to remain here, segregated on two separate 'sides' as they had before, she took a few calm steps towards the two women, but was distracted by the return of Blaze. Turning, she walked towards the familiar figure and took her arm gently to guide her back a few paces, filled with concern for Morgan. ]
"Blaze,"
[ Delilah said in calm, somewhat friendly greeting, sounding bizarrely unruffled considering the circumstances of all of this. She had questions, yes - most of them along the lines of are you okay, is Morgan okay, what happened, where is she? and the like, but figured she'd hold them till she at least knew how Blaze was going to react to her presence. And wanted to get hold of her before she got deep into conversation with either Alexis or Haleigh. ]

** Blaze listened to the discussion between Alexis and Haleigh. She heard brief bits and pieces of the conversation. However she didn't comment on the matter, she let the two powerhouses discuss it. Her own demeanor was cool and calm, she felt more refreshed. At least now she knew the grounds with Morgan. Placing her hands into her pockets, she noticed Morningstar approach her. Turning her head to the side, Blaze nodded to her, allowing the other woman guide her away. Blaze had worked with MS before, and she highly respected her. Plus it was comforting to Fox to see her again. **
"What is it Morningstar?"
** There was logic behind her friend and former comrade. Blaze was willing to listen or answer any questions she would have for the mutant. Straining her neck to look up at Morningstar, she was just a few inches taller then Blaze, most of her teammates usually were. Determined and curious, Blaze began to read her friend's body language after waiting for an answer, and soon she found the answer. **
"Your concerned...I don't blame you."
** Her voice dropping to a whisper now. Foxfire began to elaborate more on the situation and what she discussed with Morgan in private. **
"Morgan is giving into the darkness, we all know it, Ororo's prophecy is coming true. What's important is to brace ourselves for what is about to come. Through her darkness, I tested my sister, and I saw the humanity in her eyes. I know she cares for me Morningstar....but I also know this is a battle she dares to fight alone. The problem is Haleigh and Cameron. I see such a different perspective then Morgan. I'm finding it difficult to be level headed with all this drama and chaos that has ensued. I'm very aware of the changes that occurred with everyone but I'm utterly and completely lost. I'm torn between two polar opposites and I'm stuck right in the middle of a war zone. Even when I try to mediate, I get hurt, but if I don't, they get hurt."
** Releasing an exasperated sigh, Blaze looked down to think of another solution but her head throbbed. She was overthinking too much and she needed to calm her mind. She knew Morningstar would offer her guidance. Blaze had almost forgotten about her, because she was so calm and quiet throughout the pandemonium. Peering up into the steel blue eyes once more. **
"What do you think?"

:: an eerie pop is heard as a pair of cobalt blue eyes open up alongside MorningStar and Foxfire::
::Guardian soon is fully manifested...standing at 5"11 she is the same height as Delilah..but her stillettos add to her stature and poise as she looks down at Blaze::
Blaze....Delilah.... i apologize for my sudden arrival. But i knew this moment between you two would come, and once it did, i had to be apart of it. I must speak to you BOTH.
Firstly, Blaze,....
::Guardian's tone had a lilt to it that it never seemed to posess before. her tone was confident but she seemed far WARMER than she'd ever appeared to Blaze before::
I must commend you on your incredible inner strength. watching Morgan slip away like this....its hard for all three of us, but for you its even MORE. I am sorry that i wasnt there those nights back to stop Morgan from hurting you the way she did, but believe me, i KNOW that she would not have done so were it not for the presence of my mother. Kelly King....she has that effect on people...its part of her power.
:: she bowed her head and her face was frowned....she was clearly annoyed at herself for some of of this situation::
My family...is the bane of my existence. Its one of the many reasons i changed my last name. My mother is ...quite mad, and my sister lives in a dream world of, "eternal goodness in all that she sees"...and my "brother".......
Blaze...part of what's happening to Morgan is in LARGE PART due to Cameron and Kelly....and for that I apologize. I probably couldve seen this coming MONTHS ago....but Erika cast some kind of spell and it fuzzed my memories of her and Kelly. I was always the deadlier practicioner of magick, plus i am a precog...something that infuriated Kelly as it allowed me to get the drop on her many times when i shielded the siblings from her wrath.
::it was hard to imagine Alison protecting Erika or Cameron...since she demonstrated nothing but hatred for both of them thus far...But Guardian's past was a mystery to EVERYONE and even Morgan only knew bits and pieces::
Blaze, I love your sister...she is the "sister" i WISH i had growing up. When she first returned from London following your "death"...she was emotionally broken....and sick with grief. I saw her through some tough times. We've had each other's backs both in the business world and in the realm of the super natural.
Obviously we know that this goes beyond Haleigh and Cameron....that it has to do with her bond to Limbo. The same thing happened to her cross time counter parts...but there were always critical variables in each of their respective realities that allowed them to some how triumph over...or at least CHECK their darker natures. From what I remember ORORO saying while il was in Limbo, MORGAN has never faced this progression before, unlike her counter parts. She isnt going to go through this alone. We will have to work to protect innocents AND find a way to contain Morgan long enough to enlist the aid of her mother AND Ororo. Ultimately, what I'm saying is, no matter what happens...I will be here for you. I will protect you from Morgan should she plummet to new depths of sadism...AND we will work together to bring her BACK to who she really is.
For now....Blaze, follow your heart. You are not meant to be as unforgiving as Morgan is. I KNOW that you know who your sister is...and that when the chips are down...you have her back. But YOU must make sure that you do not let the incessant character assasination of Morgan by Haleigh and Cameron effect your better judgement. Right now...we must....deal with the looming threat of Kelly. SHE has played a role in the bigger picture that no one could have guessed. BUT we also must keep the others AWAY from Morgan...dont even let them PROVOKE HER. If she breaks NOW...ahead of what I and Ororo have seen....we will all die and there will be nothing to stop her from ravaging NYC with the hoards of Limbo.
::Alison was genuine, and she seemed very focused. the fact that she chose to IGNORE her own plight...that of her long last "family" returning and bringing with them a whole world of trouble AND that she hadnt bothered to reach out to her brother and sister not once....would not go unnoticed. It was actually an involuntary defense mechanism that Alison had developed over the years..in her zeal to block out all memories and distance herself from her family. She was as cold and as hard as "marble"....much like Morgan and her icy ways. it was no wonder the two witches complimented each other. they were both incredibly powerful, focused and able to make hard descisions when no one else would.::

Haleigh had a pleased smile fixed on her face as Morgan disappeared, and she stared smugly at Alison even as she continued to berate her. A strong part of her knew it was doing no one any good for them to be going round for round like this... but there was something even more stubborn that wouldn't allow Alison the last word.... yet she was robbed of the chance to retort, as Alison went to Blaze and Delilah... Haleigh narrowed her eyes, a cold-blooded gleam in her pale blue irises... she wasnt going to let Alison behave this way forever, throwing suckerpunches and then ducking and running... Alison's contempt was going to catch up with her eventually... Haleigh would MAKE it so.
Haleigh watched Alexis approach warily, wondering which road the woman was going to take. She nodded quickly, relieved momentarily that at least they could set aside their 'differences' to acheive some kind of alliance, which couldnt be said for Morgan or Alison......
"Actually... were about split right down the middle... but we could USE another ally... Morgan doesnt need any more praise than she's getting-- Alison's licking her ass enough for the four of us. It looks like Blaze is letting her blood ties pull at her heartstrings yet again... its like the third time since all this happened... and it ALWAYS ends with her nearly getting her ass killed... and us having to charge in and pull everyone out. I'm sick of retreating for the sake of tact and protecting the harmony of this team. We've got to DO something... we've got to convince them to trust us at least until we get rid of this parasite Dr. Gray. Hmmph... damn, this isnt as painful as i originally thought.... you and i should work together more often. We never really talked about it... but I'm not mad about you leaving me and Cameron in the tunnel... you did what you had to do... and we hardly knew each other so... bygones and whatnot... just dont pull a stunt like that now... and i think well be okay."

:: Cameron watched all of this with extreme annoyance. As Alison explained her family and how they were the "bane" of her existence. How she was seriously blaming him and his mother for what was happening. It was completely ludicrous. Everyone seemed to baby Morgan, which was ironic since she liked to pretend and live in the disillusionment that she was this power hungry ball busting bitch to be reckoned with. He wasn't going to play favorites as he walked right up to his sister and waited for the rest to follow Erika ::
"You can say what you want about Morgan. But honestly, I am completely done with her. Twice she has attempted to kill her sister and nearly succeeded. Countless times she has tried to kill us all, and everyone thinks that this is so out of her character, that something is strange with Morgan. Yeah, that would be the realization that she is a cold hearted woman who has isolated SO much of the world from herself that she finds herself so alone and bitter that she wants everyone around her to be the same. Her distaste for men may be attributed to her father, but he is dead. People say I have baggage but I am sick of carrying this woman's full set of Louis Vitton Luggage of Emotions around with us wherever we go. Sick of it... After this mission... I am done with it. Done with the Six. I am going to live with my sister..."
:: Prophet looked at Erika as he entered the house and set a very almost depressing tone for the rest of the group. They could now see the severity of what was happening with Spellbinder. Although he didn't know his sister persay, but she was the first person in all of Cameron's life that when he saw her, he felt love, he felt security and trust. He would sacrifice everything to feel that way all the time. He hoped the others would follow him. ::

< As Erika looked at the even more deteriorating state of the group of the Six, she felt a pain in her heart. She wanted desperately to stop Morgan from leaving, but knew that she couldn't even if she tried. There was something off in Spellbinder. It was if her entire energy field had changed and that was saying something since Erika had really just met the woman a few days ago. Now here they were and Erika's mother was getting to them. Kelly had done more damage than Erika thought Kelly would ever truly know. This was getting serious. She was just about to jump in when Cameron made his speech, announcing to the group that he decided to live with his sister. That he stood so close to her now. It was a heart fluttering moment. She wanted to take him in her arms and make the bad world go away, but she couldn't right now. Cameron had to follow a path. She had to make sure the Six stayed intact. It was the safest thing for everyone. She turned to the group after an affectionate grabbing of her little brother's hand. >
"Cameron, we can discuss that later.. As for now. I can see my Mother's influence has done a lot more than I thought. I know it might seem cruel to leave Morgan out here. But we have all felt times in which we needed to get away. I know she will be back. She has a lot on her plate. Now if you will all come inside, we can work on some kind of game plan. I have tea and.. a little alcohol left over from New Year's. I'm not a big drinker. Please, let's just get inside. These winds, I can sense a change in the weather, and I will not have a sick group of mutant and witches on my hands! Come now!"
< She was opening her house to all of them. Even Alison who had just condemned her family a few moments ago. Erika couldn't turn her away. Call it naive but Erika was someone who believed that even if you lose it all, you still have your family. That whether or not you wanted to be connected, that you were. Alison was so veiled in darkness that she would hardly ever see the light and that disturbed her. Though Erika was interested in meeting this Ororo character. She seemed extremely grounded and well rounded. If only someone like that was here now. It would make things so much easier. >

:: Very surprised that Haleigh was so welcoming to Alexis, she nodded listening intently to the woman speak. Everything she said was true, Morgan was out of control...even more so then she normally is. Something had to be wrong, but either way, Alexis wasn't going to get in the crossfire of it all. ::
"I completely agree, Haleigh....Morgan always complains about how we are the threats to this so called "team" when she's the one who is always out of control."
:: Allowing Haleigh to continue, Alexis crossed her arms staring deep into Hales blue orbs. You know, when you actually speak to the girl civilly, she's not all that bad. Nodding again as the woman continued to speak, a small sigh escaped her lips at the mention of this Dr Rachel person again. ::
"Forgive me, Red. But who is this Dr. Gray? I'm going off bits and pieces everyone's been saying, but I have no idea what is truly going on....other then the fact Morgan needs to take a trip to the Psych ward...or Geriatric. Whichever."
:: Allowing a small chuckle to escape her lips, she figured she would lighten the mood a bit since everything been going to hell within the past 10 minutes. Parting her lips with her tongue, the mention of herself and Haleigh working together not being as painful, Alexis laughed once more, nodding in agreement. ::
"Yeah..who knew?"
:: Her smile faded once more at the mention of Alexis abandoning Cameron and Haleigh. That always tore her up inside...even though Alexis just met the two that night, and she seemed to immediately bump heads with Haleigh, she hated leaving anyone behind. It was just something that Alexis couldn't bare---most likely result of her father. Either way, Alexis glanced away from Haleigh toward the horizon. ::
"I am truly sorry about that, Red. I mean...I can't justify why I did it, but I can apologize and let, like you said, bygones be bygones."
:: Looking away from the horizon, her eyes shifted back to the redhead and nodded with a small smile. This was the first time she had really shown human emotion toward Haleigh instead of being a stone cold bitch to her. It was a bit unnerving, but it needed to be done if they were to stick together. Nodding to the woman once more as she spoke of her not leaving them behind again, she truly meant it. Whatever stunt Morgan drug the group into this time, she wouldn't be as easily swayed. ::
"I promise on one condition. Just tell me what the hell is going on. :: With a laugh. :: Anything...cliff notes...uhh, what do you call it. A debriefing?"
:: Shaking her head with another small chuckle, Alexis was so not up on speed with the agency lingo. But hell, it was lightening the dreary mood. Haleigh was right, why hadn't they teamed up before? They were actually getting along quite well. Who knew? ::

** Gasping at the sight of piercing cobalt eyes, Blaze stepped back. Only then did Guardian reveal herself. Blaze's heartbeat dimmed, it was apparent she was on edge. Nodding to Alison's apology, she stepped forward again as the three discussed Morgan and the events to come. She felt more tranquil from Guardian's warm words and even Delilah's, both women were a huge structure to Morgan. It was now passed down to Blaze who could use all the help in the world. Dark circles lined under her eye lashes, indicating her exhaustion and stress. She wanted to embrace Alison in a hug but thought it was probably unwanted, but maybe its what Blaze needed but was afraid to ask for it. **
"Thank you Alison....that gives me a sense of strength I didn't possess before. And your assumptions are correct, its killing me. I'm crumbling under the clock here but I know our first priority is this Doctor Gray character who is in reality your mother. But please don't blame yourself for my sister's actions....I said some harsh words to Morgan. I myself wasn't thinking clearly, my judgment and integrity were faltered and I know it was from Kelly. Together we can all overcome such a difficult obstacle. I will try to control Haleigh and Cameron from provoking my sister again. But they are both as stubborn as I."
** Blaze paused when she turned, hearing Haleigh's words involving her. Why was everyone so quick to group her the others?! Her green eyes gave her comrade a dark and haunting glare. She shook her head quickly to correct Haleigh's false assumptions. Breaking eye contact, she clenched her fists, the same way Morgan did. Her eyes then moved onto Cameron who announced his resign from the team. Looking away with disgust, Blaze locked eyes with Guardian and then with Morningstar. **
"I'm sick of how this group adores placing me with alliances! I'm on my own side with ties to both. Is that hard to understand? If I happen to discuss issues with you Alison, Haleigh is so QUICK to label me! But right now I'm exhausted to even feel. I need to control my temper, my emotions to find this Kelly character. Once that matter is resolved then we help my sister without Haleigh and Cameron. Alexis doesn't know Morgan nor is she fond of her. So it'll be our mission to save my sister from the eternal depths of Limbo! After our last mission, all of them are free to do as they desire. Until then, all of us are here to cooperate with them on finding and locating Kelly."
** Pulling up her sleeves, unbuttoning her blazer to reveal her blouse. Blaze's emotions were so rapid, she could be labeled bi - polar. But she wasn't but whenever under heavy stress, Blaze couldn't control her emotions, a weakness for her. She stood tall next to the other two beautiful women, Blaze the shortest of all of them. However, with her decrease in height, came her increase in speed and stamina, making her the faster of the group. Pulling her jet black locks from her pony tail. Her wavy hair flowing down to her shoulder's, framing her face more, drawing out her sage eyes. **
"I think its time we all headed inside."
** She said honestly after Erika invited them inside her place. She knew Erika was the only link between both opposing parties. But if Haleigh wanted to place her, so be it. She turned to glance over her shoulder, seeing if her two friends would follow. Stepping inside, she waited for Alison and Delilah. **

honestly Blaze, MY feelings on whom you deal with are not important. THAT is something that you and Morgan already discussed. My lot is to see you through what promises to be....a most harrowing caper. Let's just.....get through this task at hand......Kelly is watching us, even as we speak.
::again, she paid no heed to the her own issue involving cameron or erika in her reassuring Blaze. She just.....forged ahead...she would show that she was MORE than up to the task at hand. it comforted some of the group to pass her off as Morgan's lapdog. But Alison was hardly that. The question was, would she allow Erika to pierce the rock hard marble heart that she now had.....to re establish her famiy ties::
The winds are rising....::thinking::Its Morgan....but at least she's...stablized herself...for now Morgan will be alright where she is , Blaze. she's got more than enough power to repel any kind of attack from kelly, should she try to accost her out there.
::Hearing Erika's words, Alison began walking with Delilah and looking at Blaze. Guardian and MorningStar came inside with the others....not bothering to comment on the serenity of the estate....or even take in its surroundings. her "foresight" would alert her to any possible danger that she, delilah or blaze faced.

Haleigh laughed, slapping Alexis on the back, perhaps a little harder than she'd intended. "I told you, forget it. No hard feelings." Haleigh laughed softly, a faint smile on her lips.
"I would call it... an abbrieviated update briefing. debriefing is for AFTER the mission. Dr. Rachel Gray came to Cameron the night of the Press Junkett... she begged him to help her, claiming Mystech was trying to kill her. She said she worked for them but tried to leave due to the unethical experiments she was forced to conduct. Cameron brought her to the rest of us.. he wanted to save her... I wanted to kill her. That was when Morgan tried to kill Blaze and Cameron... the FIRST time. I pulled them back to my flat to recuperate... and Erika burst in, claiming to be yet another one of Cameron's sisters... I know, they multiply like fucking rabbits.... Erika has proved to be an ally.... it RACHEL who everyone was split over... Morgan kept trying to bear down on us and take her for questioning... we kept pulling back and trying to make it out of there ALIVE... now it comes out that Rachel wasnt who she said she was... if they'd LISTENED to me in the first place... we could've put a hole in her head and we might all be having a nice dinner and a few drinks. But NOOO, oh no. I'm a homicidal maniac. I couldnt possibly be RIGHT about these things. Anyways... rant over.... It appears Erika knows the best way to be rid of our little pest. Oh, and as it turns out, Morgan is succumbing to the dark side, shes not just forgotten to take her meds."
That about covered it... she skipped over what theyd done in the mean time... it HAD spanned over a few days now.... but Alexis had gotten the major things without the filler. The irony that they were able to hold a conversation without arguing and being headstrong wasnt lost on Haleigh. Maybe this could work out after all.

:: With her eyebrows raised at the non-stop information coming at her at once, it seemed like Haleigh didn't even take a breath during that monologue. Standing there, Alexis opened her mouth but no words came out, the meta human was just speechless. Memo to self: Never leave for two weeks again...Nodding her head slowly, a small laugh escaped her lips. ::
"Wow. That. Wow. What an eventful couple of weeks."
:: Shaking her head, Alexis glanced over Haleigh's shoulder seeing everyone had made their way into Erika's mansion. Looking back at Haleigh, she soon began to walk next to the woman, toward the house. ::
"Well if it's any consolation...I would of wanted to fry Dr. Grey myself. I'm sorry...any doctor from MysTech that claims to be in need of The Six...wants to kill us. Plain and simple. As for Erika..."
:: Shaking her head, Haleigh pretty much said it right. Cameron seemed to have sister popping up everywhere. ::
"...yeah...does he have anymore long lost sisters we need to know about?"
:: Laughing, Alexis finally made it to the door of the mansion. Stepping passed the threshold, she stopped seeing everyone speaking to one another. Leaning against the door frame, she looked over at Haleigh, inching closer to the woman as she lowered her voice into a whisper, so only Hales could here her. ::
"Wait...we haven't SEEN Morgan's dark side yet? Ohh, that's comforting.... I thought we were already graced by all her wonderful personalities."
:: With a sigh. ::
"She's like the modern day Sybil. Jesus....Well either way, from the sounds of it, she's out of control. I'd feel more comfortable sticking with you. Cameron has his family to deal with...Alison is up Morgan's ass 24/7 regardless of a crisis....this Morningstar person seems to already know Morgan...therefore most likely trying to aid her...and Blaze..."
:: Pausing for a moment, she sighed lowering her whisper even more. ::
"I like the girl...she's a doll. But Morgan is her sister.....I could be wrong about her, but I would much rather be allied with you right now then take my chances with any of them. Especially if Morgan is heading over to the dark side. What do you say?"
:: Leaning back to her previous position, Alexis glanced up at the others studying them each closely before she shifted her eyes back to Haleigh. Every word out of Alexis' mouth was the truth...in this situation, she felt more comfortable with Haleigh--the woman she once never trusted. Thus showing how much Alexis was letting her guard down. ::

** Blaze smirked to herself for several reasons. One of them was Alexis' comment concerning herself on how she was a "doll." Even if the Meta human whispered, Blaze's super hearing allowed her access to hear it at the lowest of volumes and frequency's **
A doll? If they only knew my wild side...
** Chuckling under her breath, Blaze was not the typical Barbie type despite how mild mannered she could be. Beneath her deep exterior lay dormant an inner vixen dying to be unleashed. In due time it would appear but only in certain circumstances. Blaze had two different personality's, one of them her secret identity. None of the team knew about this but Blaze knew they would discovery this sooner or later. Foxfire was probably the most free spirited of the team with her tattoo's and her spiritual beliefs. **
** Sliding her tongue over her nude full lips slowly. Getting them wet, which was more comfortable then being dry. She had left her lip gloss at home, or what was left of her damaged place. She would have to definitely get that remodeled and restricted. But Kelly King would be the center of focus for all of them. The glow of the moon stole Blaze's attention, who rolled her eyes onto the bright glow. Her eyes blooming into an eerie dark gray shade. Fox adored night especially the moon, it controlled her. And right now she was under its control and sway. Slipping out of her blazer gracefully, she tossed it on the chair two feet from her. Unbuttoning the cuffs on her blouse, rolling them up her tanned arms. Was it hot in there? Blaze certainty thought so, damn! Her fingertips danced down to her shirt, undoing the first two, revealing more of her neckline. Sliding her black irises over the people present, noting who was there. Stopping onto Haleigh and then to Alexis, who Blaze seemed to peer right into her soul. Her eyes were filled with mystery but a unique quality, passion. **

** Blaze's thoughts were halted at Guardian's words who lingered inside her mind. A devilish smirk breaking out over her lips. Foxfire's more primal animalistic side was definitely growing more intensely. Cocking her head to the side, she pulled on the collar of her shirt, fanning herself. Usually temperature didn't bother Blaze but it did with the full moon rising, it affected Blaze's darker side, seducing her. Especially her sexual side, she wanted to pounce. But for now she would behave, for now. ;) **

- Kelly picked herself up from the debris of the apartment as the dark wave of magick was unleashed behind her, blowing out a wall of Haleigh's penthouse. She stood up as she brushed the shards of glass from her hands and picked herself off of the ground. Those insufferable heffers had outsmarted her for the time being. She had been too blood hungry. It was an easy mistake to make. Witchfire had them in the palm of her hands and they had slipped away. It wouldn't be hard to find them and in fact, Kelly felt she knew exactly where they would be. Though her family may have been estranged from her, they were still blood and she would be able to sense them. She quickly blinked back to her own penthouse as she waved her hands. Her illusion was shattered and now for the first time she would have to take an extremely offensive approach to the situation. She looked at her body. As much as she had hated to believe it, being around all those young and beautiful people had been making Kelly almost enjoy her "humble" appearance as Rachel. That would be the first thing she would need to take care of, among other things. Clearing her space she snapped her fingers as the room turned dark and her altar appeared before her and she was immediately enclosed in a pentacle that seemed to be glowing dark purple from the floor. If she wanted to defeat this group, she would need more power. She opened her eyes as they began to glow a blood red, almost the polar opposite to her daughter Erika however. The sight was not tranquil by any means. It was petrifying and mezmerizing. The Candles that represented the Elements were placed at the different parts of the Pentacle began to burn brightly as the windows blast open, winds carrying through them, sweeping the older woman's hair up as lightning began to strike outside. Kelly began to invoke the darkest of Magicks she knew. -
I call to the might bringer of light, Kali! Spirits of the abyss, hear my call, All most powerful one and all, Kali my thoughts do sing, Through the universe they now ring. Take thine enemy, take them smite, Break them, scorn them in the night. From the mighty depths of hell. Cast your darkness on my shell. Oh Kali, oh shining star, Touch ME, burn ME from afar. Revenge now will have its day, For thine enemy starts to fray! SO MOTE IT BE!!!”
- Immediately, Kelly became enveloped in what appeared to be the pure and crackling form of Witchfire as it soared around her body and illuminated the entire room. Her shadow on the wall began to warp as it shifted and changed becoming part demon then becoming human once more. Turning back to Witchfire as the energy enveloped her she unleashed a cackling and core shaking laugh that could certainly be heard throughout the city. She was taking it all in as her physical form began to change. She became younger and somewhat taller, now standing at 6"2'. Her eyes were now a blood red as her once bright brown hair became a dark shade of shimmering Raven Black. The fire soon BLASTED throughout the penthouse as she was seemingly being consumed and burned. It didn't seem to phase her though at all. It was as if she was being ressurected. As the energy dissipated within the room, Kelly fell to the floor. She was no longer just any powerful witch. She was now part Demon and infused with the power of the Dark Gods. She was prepared to take on any of them. As soon as she got a hold of her new powers and her new body. In the meantime as she came down from her "high", she began to watch her scrying mirror as she locked on to Morgan. Her powers were definitely much sharper as she didn't really even put any effort into scrying. She watched Blaze and Morgan talking about what would happen. Then, instantly her senses began to tingle as she was shot into the attic of Erika's Estate. She saw her Book of Shadows! It had been bound with magick and obviously Erika didn't want her dear old mother to get her hands on it. -
"Well, Erika. Mommy Dearest might just make a visit to her favorite daughter's house! To claim what is rightfully mine! Oh what I can do with this power! I can FEEL it in my veins! Those bitches will suffer for tricking me! Starting with that emotional fucking TRAIN WRECK of a witch Spellbinder! Kill the Commander and the troops will follow. That fucking bitch won't know what hit her! I shall FEAST of her blood and make the others watch before they experience the pain themselves! I will GET MY BOUNTY!!!!"

< Erika watched Blaze with one eyebrow raised as she figured that the super senses that Blaze possessed must be attributed to some kind of animal instinct. She decided it was best to get out of the Moon's rays as she invited them all to come inside and into the rather large kitchen which the back door led straight into. >
"Ok. Everyone, it is getting cold outside and this moon seems to be affecting Blaze in a way I am not sure I like. If you will come inside at once we can form a battle plan. This tug of war is tiring me to the extreme. This is a severe situation. None of you are even close to comprehending what my mother is capable of. For years she worked for Mystech and the Axis of Evil and to this day members of her rival teams are still under the effects of her magick. Magick that she wove so well that most didn't even know the member named Witchfire existed. If one of you could take her on than she most certainly would be dead already. Think about this. We have Haleigh who trusts not even herself completely with this perposterous Rachel Gray. Even though she can SENSE something is wrong and WANTS to expend her, she doesn't. Not because of her trust for Cameron and her inner "conscience" but because of Kelly King. Her magick. She created an illusion so well crafted that not even a woman with a PSI Screen NOR or a Precog could detect. All of you normally would have killed her on the spot. That is your M.O. , but something kept you from attacking. She used each of your personalities against each other. She is the cause of this inner friction within the group and all of you bickering now will just further augment her plan. She will attack again tonight, and it will be full force, as I am sure Alison has seen. The only question that remains now is will you fall in line and work together, or die alone? Those who want to live can follow me. Good luck to the rest of you..."
< It was somewhat hard for Erika to be someone callous and seemingly cold, but she was doing it for a good reason. Erika was warm hearted and did genuinely see the good in everyone she met, but she was not born yesterday and nor was she stupid. She was a Criminal Profiler and Psychologist. She interviewed, helped and healed some of the world's sickest human sociopaths. She knew how their minds worked. Kelly King fit the profile of a psychotic person to a tee. Erika felt as if she was on the work force again. Her knowledge and use of only good magick had kept her protected and alive this long, and it would most CERTAINLY not fail her in this her time of need. She knew that if she didn't get this group together, Kelly would destroy them one by one. She would feed on their emotions and lack of mental prowess. She would obliterate them. She didn't have to be a Precog to see that, she was simply relying on the knowledge and practice of years of training and study behind her. This was now Erika's game. She was in the Sociopath's spiderweb and it was her job to make sure that the Black Widow didn't suck the life out of the others before it was too late. >

::Guardian stood next to MorningStar. Both women had a "glamazon" posture and presentation, much like the third member of their trio, Spellbinder. She was quite beautiful in her own way with darker features and a feminine frame....but rarely did she allow a smile to come across her face. Alison was completely unmoved by her sister's "harbinger of doom" monologue. If anyone knew just how depraved their mother was...it was HER. She was the oldest and saw first hand how merciless she was with her other children. But Alison's own nature caused her to instinctive rise up against her mother time and again::
::standing posed with her arms folded, Alison remained stone faced....in HER mind it was clear that Erika was inefficient and not capable of doing what had to be done- OBLITERATE Kelly King. Battle plans were Alison's specialty...as she was a natural born tactician, but she wasnt about to avail herself to her sister or anyone else on the other side of the "island" in the large kitchen.::
::thinking:: stupid child. you were always so sure that "love would conqure all." you may be a profiler and have credentials in the mental health profession...but that does not mean that YOU yourself are not without flaw. this "messiah complex" that you seem to have certainly fits you like a glove. your arrogant worm of a baby brother, Cameron certainly has been drawn to it. You may have the floor now, Erika....but i will NOT let you and that worm Cameron RUIN the life that i made for myself APART from this family. I will see our mother dead..and YOU TWO OUT OF MY LIFE!
::Alison's hardened heart wouldnt allow for even a sliver of feeling toward her siblings. Her life after leaving the King family was one of adventure, striving and the never ending pursuit of knowledge and power. She made a name for herself in new york high society and was alligned with one of the most important women into today's high fashion industry. Now...here she was, across the country in a situation that she couldnt realistically control. Too many "enemies" in one room...and even though she could out power some of them ...she conceded that this once..that tactical savvy dictated that she deal with the more important tasks at hand: purging kelly king, pushing erika and cameron out of her life and addressing the impending disaster involving Spellbinder::
:: she remained silent. her mind closed to everyone in the room...and she began searching time threads.....narrowing down the most probable ones for this situation.::

:: Cameron watched as his sister took control of the group in a way that didn't threaten the others but made them knew that she meant business. This is what he had been wanting all along. Erika was smart and intelligent and actually quite an eloquent speaker, unlike his other sister Alison. From the moment the two had met there had been some intense dislike for each other. She seemed to be so wrapped up in herself that it made Cameron sick and to figure out that after all this time that she was in fact his sister and that she turned her back on him and Erika to let them suffer with Witchfire made him hate her even more. What could drive a person to such a high level of selfishness? It sickened him to think about how he was almost killed while Alison was off galavanting with God knows what and just letting dark magick draw her in even more. He didn't think that Alison and himself would ever get along. Cameron may be extremely arrogant but at least when a person needed his help, he was there to give it. The only people who did not have his help were Morgan and Alison. They had proved time and time again that they did not like him and that if needed they would kill him. He didn't understand how they could be so offended that he naturally felt the same way about them. Prophet now stood on the opposite side of Alison by the Island of the Kitchen which was extremely warm and welcoming (think the Charmed Kitchen). It had Herb Cabinets and other witchy things along with foods and other kitchen stuff. It felt comfortable. Since nobody seemed to be talking, Cameron tried to hatch a plan to get rid of his Mother ::
"Ok.. Well can we think of a few of her powers? Her strengths, her weaknesses? We have a pletherea of powers ourselves here, surely some of them combined can outpower her. Can we just kill her? Will we have to take care of her magickally? We should look in some books and do some research. Erika, you still have all of her files from Mystech right? It should have some detailed info on it, surely Haleigh will be able to decode it. I say we nip this in the butt before she has a chance to power up..."

- Kelly King watched the entire situation unfold in the Kitchen as a curl of what appeared to be some extremely disturbing smile surfaced on her face. Alison seemed to be deep in thought. She probably hated that Erika was stealing any bit of thunder from her. Alison always tried so desperately to be the center of attention, though Kelly did feel a bit of nausea coming on when Erika delivered what seemed to be somekind of Shakespearean Monologue. Witchfire scoffed at Erika's attempt to even define Kelly's deadliness. -
"Hah! Stupid Girl! The magick I worked on them is about as much as I have in my pinky finger! They have no idea what is in store for them. And I think I have found my way to get everything I want after all. I must go after the most vulnerable child first.. My dear little bastard son Cameron..."
- She had thought this out. Kelly had to go after Cameron first. He knew the least out of the situation. He would be the least prepared out of all of them to face Kelly and that is what she was hoping for. If she could get Cameron away from them, she knew Erika would stop at nothing to get him back. And even though Alison expressed her extreme disdain for Cameron, she would come running to, if only to spite Kelly. But now it was time for first things first. She wanted her damn Book of Shadows back. It was no use to some pathetic Wiccan Earth Mother Lover like Erika. That book had power and knowledge that she could never hope to comprehend. Kelly wanted it back. And soon she would have it. Witchfire was planning an ambush. Go in and attack at full force. They wouldn't know what had hit them until it was too late. If things went well, some would be mortally wounded and maybe some would be dead. Just a few more out of the way. Kelly stopped for a brief moment to express just how much of a psychopath she was. -
"But! What does one WEAR to a Murder?"

** Blaze's head spun to the side targeting Erika who brought attention to the Mutant. Raising a brow, she was entertained by her comment. Should she comment on it? But of course, Blaze always had to have the last word. **
"You may not like the changes that invoke me but under this forever night, you'll WANT me to change when the moment calls for it. My strength doubles, my senses are at the maximum, but I have no conscious...I affect the physical changes but the moon affects other areas."
** She thought about what little she knew about this Kelly King. Who would she target first and why? This was a family matter first, so it was obvious she would target Alison, Erika, and Cameron. **
"Kelly will target you Cameron....your the baby of the family. Most alignments of evil seek the youngest and most vulnerable. If not Cameron then Alison for her great power and her battle stance. She may be blood thirty but she's not stupid, she's clever and cunning. This book you speak of....is it powerful? If it is she'll probably tackle this first. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if she were watching us now. Or she might target Spellbinder because she's the most powerful of the team. But I'm not sure because Morgan isn't fully seeing things clearly, she might save her for last. Either way, she'll want a member of the King family, this is a family affair."
** Noticing Alison's battle stance, Blaze smirked at the bewitching beauty. So poised and elegant yet a bird of prey mirrored her features. Following Guardian's eye line she connected the pieces to Erika. Hmmm sibling rivalry at its best? **

::Foxfire's voice and what she said caught Guardian's attention.::
Foxfire, from what Morgan told me about "Witchfire", during her time on Valiant, THEY(the enemy) counted on Witchfire to be able to check Spellbinder. The Axis of Evil was a collection of mutants and at least one magick user...most of whom were CONTROLLED by mystech's technology. Only Black and Witchfire VOLUNTARILY served on that team. When it came down to the firefight between Witchfire and Spellbinder, It wasnt even a contest...and that is why they sent Black after her once more. He was the only one they had who was capable of checking Morgan. Spellbinder and MorningStar both faced the Axis of Evil, its been approximately two years since Morgan returned from London....and since obviously Witchfire survived thanks to Black's intervention, she's had time to mull over her defeat and where she went wrong. Undoubtedly she remembers how vicious Morgan was in their firefight...and that Morgan had no qualms about killing HER...so she will be MORE than prepared to try to return that favor. But Morgan is more than protected from any attacks right now. She's encased herslf in some kind of pentagram of power out there in the middle of the ocean. She's intently focused on something....almost like she's in a dream state or a trance.
But as for Kelly, she's been "preparing" for her rematch with Spellbinder for an extremely long period of time. I haven't bothered to "see" her path through time over the last several years because.....::looking at Erika:: i didnt think there would be a need for me to be concerned about her. It would be wise to assume that she's got some kind of ace in the hole going for her now. This time round...its personal, AND if she can get rid of Cameron and Erika.....she will try to finish what MysTech commissioned her to do before.....take out enough members of The Six to eliminate the threat we pose to MysTech's global hold.
::Guardian's long range "sight" was quite functional and usefull....but so many people in the room despised her, it was unlikely they would recognize the valuable information she was sharing with Foxfire::
Kelly is watching us even now. She destroyed the integrity of Haleigh's apartment at Illustra and bypassed the halls...to escape the defenses. She has recovered and she's using our unfortunate bloodline link to track us. Foxfire is more right than she might suspect .....The most apparent and probable thread of time suggests that Kelly will set her sights on the weakest of her offspring FIRST. ::it was obvious she meant Cameron:: psychic abilities avail very little in the way of defense/offense against magickal attacks, not to mention the obviously psychological power play she will try to make due to his position as the youngest.
::Alison was about to suggest they kill Cameron right then and there. but she knew that would only be doing Kelly's work FOR HER. It was a pity....in terms of hating Erika and Cameron, Alison could MORE than identify with Kelly on that level. Cameron was a misfit...a BOY in what shouldve been a line of women that controlled various magicks, and ERIKA...who's annoyingly sacchrine,"pollyanna" approach to life was so nauseating......Alison was wondering how she EVER tolerated them all those years ago. but this was more than that. Kelly was once again in Alison's "way"....just as she was years ago....and this time, Alison turning her back on Kelly would not be enough. SHE would have to die....and with years of world traveling, and the tutulage she submitted herself to from mages such as Dormammu, Stephen Strange[whom had also worked with Magik] and others, submitting her self to extreme tests and trials....and tribulations of both body and mind to shed mortal scruples and embrace supernatural affinity, would now realize a full fruition as ALison would find out just how USEFULL hard gained knowledge would be to her in this most difficult time.::

:: With a sigh. ::
Haleigh nodded, walking alongside Alexis solemnly with her hands resting together on th small of her back. Haleigh herself was a little shocked as well... that Alexis had even came up to her... as the two [for no real discernable reason] just usually ignored each other and minded their own respective business..... but this was pretty easy and the thing that cemented it was the logic. Haleigh felt as though she cheated herself by not doing this long ago.... Alexis wasnt so bad afterall. First impressions really kicked you in the ass sometimes. Haleigh followed the rest into the house, the last to go in, and she paused to look around behind her, making sure everyone was in and no unwanted visitors were in the shadows.
As Haleigh entered the house and followed the group into the kitchen, she surveyed the house.... and not in a meandering, oh look how clean this place is kind of way, but more a casing the bank kind of way.... it was almost a subconscious act, noting all the windows and exits, peering momentarily down hallways and through open doors, 'feeling' the place out. She did this by sheer habit.... but in the event of an emergency... at least shed be able to get out or relocate quickly. She listened to the conversation at hand.... and nearly laughed when Erika said something about her having a inner conscience... Haleigh Davidoff, Director of Clandestine Intelligence, New Yorks most PROMINENT 'Queen' Pin of organized crime, a conscience? She was REALLY optimistic, wasnt she? Haleigh nodded in a agreement to some of the things being said... yes, theyd need to attack her at her weakness, yes, it was likely she'd be out for Cameron's blood first and foremost... it was HE whom she approached. Haleigh interjected once everyone had finished, her eyes shifting from person to person, her tone that which she used to prepare her CI teams for an op, commanding and firm, but slightly encouraging and as if she KNEW what she was saying could be accomplished.
"Yes.... well, WHATEVER we do... we have to STICK TOGETHER. That woman nearly turned us on each other before.... we cannot allow that to happen once more... itd only serve to further HER purpose. and THAT means... some of us are going to have to SUCK IT UP and work right alongside those we dont like.... and were all going to have to be more patient with each other. We came together in the citadle and really BEAT the opposition down.... but nearly too late... some of us were put in UNNECCESSARY peril [her eyes settling on Alison and staying there] because we didnt all remain a TEAM.... we cant afford to repeat that history. I will personally make an attempt to be more..... [deep breath] civil... and less demanding. Hell, if I can manage it, i KNOW the rest of you can."
She said, leaning back to rest evenly on her heels, folding her arms across her chest. she finally released Alison from her glare, looking instead at Morningstar... codenamed Morningstar... wait.... from Valiant? the name sounded very familiar... and Haleigh had known she recognized Delilah's face... it just took a while to place it.... but it was no big problem... for now that she knew where to look, she could simply uplink to her servers and gather the background info herself.... it took but a few seconds, and it didnt seem like she was even doing anything... she just appeared a bit zoned out and then returned to the discussion, picking up where Alison left off.
"Right... the Axis of Evil... those three others were controlled by psychoneural collars... brilliant, but barbaric... we've advanced that technology SO MUCH recently... it can be introduced as a fluid injection, an implant.... [she seemed pleased for a moment, proud... but then snapped back to the present] anyway... the Black retaliation move was ballsy... and it worked... we all know how that went, he 'killed' Blaze, left Morgan seriously injured... Morningstar.... Delilah Trelavan. You were there as well... you fought off the sentinels wiht your powers over light... you saw Kelly in action... what do you think? Any noticable flaws... youre a cop, i imagine youd notice these things. Shit... we NEED Morgan... she fought the woman firsthand.... she'll KNOW the hardest way to hit. WHERE is she?"

:: Crossing her arms, Alexis surveyed Erika's kitchen as the others spoke strategy. Alexis wasn't much of a plan now and stick to the plan later type of person. The meta human worked off of instinct, pressure, and adrenaline. She was much better at sitting back and allowing the others to come up with the right way to approach a situation then put her two sense in. Parting her lips with her tongue, Alexis rolled her eyes. All this talk was fine and dandy, but when it came down to it, they weren't getting anywhere. ::
"Can't we just fry the bitch and go home?"
:: With a sigh and a roll to her eye, Alexis pushed herself off the door frame in which she was previously leaning against, and made her way toward the kitchen island. ::
"Look, I understand Kelly is all mighty and powerful, but if we were able to take down, Christopher, Adam, Imag, BLACK, and half the TO virus infected staff of MysTech, don't you think we are capable of putting a dent into a 5 foot 7 bean-pole? I mean....use Cameron as bait, keep him somewhere isolated. Have Guardian put up a Psye Screen...or Erika do a spell, and when Kelly attacks, we'll fillet the witch?"
:: Raising her hands up in a shrugging like motion, she placed them back down on the island and turned toward the group. ::
"Maybe it's because i've been gone and haven't seen the extent of the damage she's done. But here's a stretch. If we all work together, I think we are more then capable of taking Kelly down. Five against one. Figure the odds."
:: Okay, so Alexis put her two sense in? Big whoop. They would either agree with her, ignore her, or shoot the plan down. It really didn't matter to her, because as I said, she wasn't much of a planner. Awaiting the others to respond, the blonde leaned the small of her back against the kitchen island while lifting her arms to her chest, crossing them. ::

I'm all for using Cameron as bait....but Kelly isnt a novice, Alexis. She's was one of MysTech's doctors and chosen to face Valiant. Clearly she had SOMETHING going for her in order to find favor with MysTech. I can't just "whip up a PSI Screen" for someone. Thats one of the innate gifts of being a magick user. although some of us are definately more effective than OTHERS ::casting a lofty look at Erika::
just frying her isnt enough. She would certainly do WORSE to anyone of us. Among other things....she needs her head seperated from her body and the rest of her rendered limb from limb.
::a ruby red swirl of sparkling magick forms around Guardian's gloved hand....and with a POPing sound....the Siege Perilous appears in her hand. Ororo had GIVEN her this terrifying gem as a gift....telling her that she would need it at a "most critical hour". The Siege Perilous......i LEFT this in a secure chamber at Illustra...but it has leaped into my hand...more than 3000 miles across the country. Ororo gave this to me while i was in Limbo....and told me that I would come to need it at a "most critical hour."

Shifting her eyes toward Haleigh then back to Alison, Alexis' mouth parted slightly at the sight of the Siege Perilous. Now WHY on Earth would Ororo give something that powerful to someone that self-righteous?! Either way, Alexis knew exactly what that gem could do at any given moment...she was after all there when it was unleashed at Black. ::

Haleigh's eyes shifted to Cameron... the poor guy. It was bad enough he was surrounded by THESE women... but now here they were calling him the weakest link and conspiring to throw him to the wolves... and he was STANDING RIGHT THERE.... she gave a tight smile to him and then looked around once more.
"Okay.... I think it should at least be SAID.... this 'Cameron Bait' idea is a potentially hazardous one at best.... I doubt any of you have ever been any where near a boat, so im even more sure neither of you have any concept of fishing.... I dont care for it myself... all waiting rarely any payoff.... BUT... theres one thing i learned from it... Things never really work out well for the BAIT. Look, Kellys bound to already be AFTER US... no need to be putting someone in undue harm."

"I spoke with Morgan earlier, she's stressed and not herself. BUT I know she's battling it by herself. I think right now she needs time to herself, so no one harass her...please."
** She gave a look to Haleigh and Cameron. It would help if Spellbinder was around but Foxfire couldn't count on that blessing. Using Cameron as bait did have appeal but the question was, would Erika allow her baby brother into such a perilous situation? A loud obnoxious roar announced itself inside of Blaze who smiled sheepishly, her stomach was growling. **
"Ah, excuse me...Erika I'm gonna grab a snack here.."
** Moving to Erika's refrigerator, Blaze opened it a little more forcefully then needed, almost yanking it off. She gasped at the food inside, it was almost all vegetarian."
"Cow's eat this shit."
** She mumbled under her breath while grabbing a round red apple. Shutting the fridge, she champed down onto it, her pearly white fangs slicing into it. With such drastic changes, Blaze grew more intensely hungry. She felt as though she hadn't eaten at all. But she did eat earlier that day at breakfast. Eyeing the wooden cutting board with a set of sharp silver knifes, Blaze's eyes lite up, "gonna borrow your knife too, sorry." In one half step, Blaze's shadow encased her and in a split second she was at the counter. Her movement was rather otherworldly, allowing her shadow to catch its owner. Cutting open the apple, Blaze began to slice it delicately. She stopped to admire the expensive kitchen utensil. Quickly cleaning up in another second. All while devouring the apple in another ten seconds. **
Chick eats like Morgan with her three pieces of lettuce and peanuts....wait peanuts have sodium, scratch that. ;)
** Stepping forward, Blaze stood next to Guardian in the blink of an eye. Small speckles of shadow following her path. Turning around she stifled a yawn, she wondered how Morgan was doing. However she felt better knowing Alison was the strategist of the group. **

:: Narrowing her eyes at Blaze as she commented about Alexis having talent at sucking, the meta human clenched her teeth together as she watched Blaze head for the fridge. Listening to her complain about how "Cows eat this shit", Alexis smirked to herself. ::
"Well then, I guess you hit the jackpot, now didn't you Blaze?"
:: Puckering up her lips, she tauntingly kissed the air in Blazes direction. Turning away from the woman, Alexis glanced back at Alison then to Haleigh. ::
"I don't want Cameron to get hurt either, and frankly the bait idea was just a joke. But if Kelly is indeed in this house...or close by, we need to figure something out quickly otherwise she's going to burst in before we're prepared."
:: Nibbling her bottom lip, Alexis let out a small sigh before she asked what seemed to be an irrelevant question. ::
"Does Kelly know who I am?...Or that i'm associated with you all?"

::Alison scoffed as Alexis explained her misgivings about "not wanting Cameron to get hurt".....but she continued to focus on more important matters.::
Morgan is out at sea....she's encased herself in a pentagram of power and is locked in some kind of R.E.M sleep state. It would appear she is sleeping. Anyone foolish enough to try to breach her barrier atop that land mass will be severely wounded. It's better to let her be right now.
::taking a small delight in Foxfire's abrupt insult toward Shockwave, Guardian noted the more antagonistic nature of Morgan's younger sister. This would probably unsettle Cameron and Haleigh...who were so smug and secure in their own dilluted false sense of "mental stability" as they saw it.::
Kelly has done her homework, Alexis. She is well aware of all of us by now. There is a renewed confidence about her, almost like she's been ENHANCED in some way. But she knows very well who you are. She worked with your father among other things.

** Blaze smirked at Alexis' comment towards her. Her mind quickly worked to retort back another catty comment as she watched Shockwave blow her a kiss. **
"cute Alexis, but at least this cow isn't harassed when she goes to the beach. Because you KNOW the second you sit down on the beach, the crabs come crawling out of the sea. And when they see you they yell MOMMY!!" (LMAO! Sorry Farrah I had to use your fabulous quote. )
** Turning around to the side, Blaze motioned with her hands onto her behind, smacking it. Symbolizing to Alexis she could just kiss it. **
"Pucker up!"
** Returning to her previous position, Blaze cackled. She wasn't going to allow Alexis the last word, not this time. **
"I doubt Kelly would know you...but you did have a connection to Adam, so she might."

"Damn...there goes that idea."
:: With a sigh, Alexis stood from her leaning position. Well they all just went full circle...not a decent plan had come about and basically the same bickering back and forth. Pressing her lips together, Alexis felt her cell phone vibrating in the back of her pants pocket. Unzippering her pocket, she withdrew the cell and took a look at the caller ID.... ::
"Um...sorry. I have to take this.."
:: Walking out of the kitchen, Alexis heard Blaze as she retorted to her comment. With a simply flip of the bird as she exited the kitchen, Alexis made her way through the livingroom and finally into the hallway where she could still faintly hear the others talking in the kitchen. Flipping open her cell phone, she paused for a moment before answering. ::
"Hello? I can't. Because I have my own problems I have to deal with right now. I know...I know...but I-I can't leave..."
:: Closing her eyes, Alexis took a breath in...holding it before exhaling. ::
"I know! But I need to deal with what's infront of me right now...I'm sorry."
:: Removing the phone from her ear, she slowly shut it. Huffing, Alexis leaned against the wall, allowing the back of her head to gently hit the wall. Alexis' stress level was slowly climbing to it's boiling point. ::

Haleigh watched the interaction between Alexis and Blaze warily... she licked her lips slowly, her eyes narrowing... As Blaze suggested no one harrass Morgan, and then shot her a personal look, Haleigh was almost taken aback... and she returned a 'just-what-are-you-accusing-me-of' look to counter. she shifted her weight, leaning against a counter, her arms still across her chest, as Blaze and Alexis began to go back and forth and Blaze ate something.... Haleigh seemed to be frowning.
"It Seems Morgan is not the ONLY one who is not herself right now...."
She warned, her eyes locking with Blazes for a few seconds before she looked at Alexis to address her.
"We can only assume she has extensive backgrounds on all of us... INCLUDING myself... she knew where to FIND us.... how to APPROACH US... and how to pit us against one another... since you are one of 'The Six', I think its safe to say she has a workup of you as well, and she probably expected you to be with us from the beginning. I'm not saying the bait plan wont work... I just think it should ultimately be up to Cameron... and I wanted the risks to be verbalized."

MORGAN is doing what is best for her sister and everyone else...by keeping her distance. What is happening to her....would not even have reached this point so quickly had it not been for Kelly, Cameron and yourself. Foxfire tested her when she went out to see her on that land mass......there is apparently still some humanity left within Morgan as she passed Foxfire's impromptu test. Obviously her fire power and her previous battles with Kelly would make her a valuable factor in this caper, but I do not see her being able to function in close quaters in your presence without her losing complete control....and if that happens...we will ALL die here tonight. I say that not as a threat, but as a matter of fact.
We are not without substantial magickal resources and fire power now. I am more than capable of harnassing chaos magick--a more effective OFFENSE than Erika's pure white magick. and Kelly has NO idea of my travels around the globe and what i have learned over the past two decades and how i am now able to manifest my ability. in addition to my powers as a Seer/Precog. I will even out the odds more than a little, plus we have Morningstar's multi faceted power over sound and light, combined with her olympic calibre physical prowess, Foxfire's now ELEMENTAL control over Fire, Shockwave's power and manipulation over ENERGY.......and now..........i have THIS ::holding the siege perilous:: and no one ...not even SHE can resist its power.
Kelly, as far as I'm concerned is more nuisance than anything else, and I feel just as Alexis does...I don't care how powerful she has become. She isnt infallable and she's on a time table. there is urgency behind her motives and her goals ....she NEEDS to succeed ...theres a vengefull..yet desperate drive. This old woman is like a cock roach......she comes back more times than Shirley McClain.

Haleigh eyed Alison, gritting her teeth... this woman seemed to get more and more preachy and the more time Haleigh spent with her, the more powerful the urge to cripple Alison got.... but Haleigh stood still... and empath would see the anger building beneath the surface... Cameron would hear Haleigh fantasizing about drowning Alison in her own blood... but if there was ANYTHING Haleigh COULD control in this volatile situation, it was her own emotions... and instead of leaping across the room and snatching Alison up by the throat, she kept to her promise to be civil...
"I'm not SUGGESTING that Morgan is the problem here... [slightly forced]PLEASE.... stop blaming Cameron and I for Morgan's issues with her ties to Limbo. We have NOTHING to do with that."
Her forehead was slightly wrinkled, her brow furrowed.... she did NOT miss the fact that Alison conveniently left Cameron and Haleigh out of the topic of what strengths they had as a group.... [i]Oh, REAL subtle. She rubbed her eyes softly, breathing in deeply and rolling her neck.
"Well.... lets just make sure theres NOTHING LEFT of her to come back after this.... we have the advantage here... she'll be coming after us soon... so we have turf advantage... Erika.... are there any kind of holding traps you can orchestrate? Itd be so much easier if she couldnt jump around on us."

:: After being gone for a few minutes, Alexis finally made her way back into the kitch. Placing her cell phone back into her back pocket, she overheard what Haleigh had said to Alison. Slowing down as she entered the doorway to the kitchen, Alexis stopped looking from Haleigh to Alison. This was going to be yet another long day. Leaning her shoulder against the frame of the door, Alexis once again crossed her arms across her chest, and listened to Haleigh's plan of action. ::
"Kelly could be in this house as we speak...we may not have home turf advantage, Red."
:: Looking towards the King clan. ::

:: Cameron looked at his sister Alison with such hatred and rage that he wanted to pounce on her right there and slit her throat. He tried to calm himself down as everyone else made their speeches about using Cameron as bait, then watched them take back their statements. They were all such bitches. Sure they all pretended to be his friend but when it came down to it, they were all willing to cast out the only man in the group and continue their estrogen circle as the Mighty Five. It pissed him off to NO end. He had to say something AT LEAST to Alison. ::
"First of all, nobody is USING me for anything. We don't even know what she is up to now. And how can we be sure that Alison is even telling the truth? Lord know she would love to get rid of Erika and myself the first moment that she gets alone with us! And who says that I am the weaker member of this family Alison? Shouldn't she go after the one who has the more emotional heartstrings to tug at? Aren't you the one who left the family because you couldn't hack it, regardless of what you like to tell yourself at night, I don't even know my mother, I could give two shits about whether she lives or dies. Face it Alison, you just don't want us all to see you on the floor crying like a bitch when Mommy Dearest reveals your deep DARK pain and you have NOBODY but yourself to deflect the pain from, because.. that's your defense mechanism right? I mean.. it's got to piss you of right? Hiding behind this exterior that you are this hot to trot high power high society bitch when now everyone knows where you came from, perhaps the person you despise the most out of everyone. Whom you view as a lower life form? Who you would so much as look at as kill them. How does it feel to look at me and see yourself, Alison. Your family? Now who do you think Kelly will go after. The kid who could give a damn, the frieken Mother Teresa in carnate or the emotional wreck hiding behind a loss to darkness?"
:: Prophet was almost BEGGING for Alison to confront him. This is what everyone had been waiting for. A confrontation. It seemed that everyone had just kind of side stepped the fact that Alison and Cameron were brother and sister. Maybe this just didn't effect the others as much because they weren't apart of it but to Cameron this was probably the worst news he could have ever heard. He was sick of bowing down to her, sick of playing the pawn in her and Morgan's sadistic little games. It was just too much, and now in a time when they were supposed to work together she had to step into the limelight ONCE again, flex her power and try to intimidate the rest of the Six with her great "insight". Well Cameron saw the future as well and right now all he could see was himself standing over Alison's dead body. ::

< Erika thought about what kind of spells and charms could ward off Kelly for the time being but nothing came to mind. Kelly would have a harder time breaking a Warding from White Magick, but she had apparantely made quick work of Morgan's own protection spell, so she didn't think that was a good idea. She looked at Haleigh as well as turning to the others in the group. >
"First off.. Blaze, Alexis.. this is not Jerry Springer.. my kitchen is not the stage and this is not the time nor the place for bickering, so kindly stop it so we can focus on the task at hand.. Now Haleigh, on spells and traps. I can't really think of much that I don't think that Mom wouldn't be able to get through. My house is under a constant Pentagram of Protection based on purely charged white crystals that I have buried in different parts among my property to create the symbol. That can ward off dark magick but with Kelly.. I think it might just slightly hinder her or not stop her at all. Again.. she is family, she could use that connection to protect herself.. As for how we should go about getting rid of her... I happen to have her Book of Shadows in my attic. I have been protecting it ever since I banished her. It does contain some actual very powerful spells and incantations, but they are ones that will never escape my lips. I have renounced dark magick.. but that HARDLY makes my power any less.. Alison as I am sure we are aware of your less than subtle sarcasm and hinting. I like to think that it is proof of my WILL, but some refuse to understand my dedication..."
< Erika began to make some tea on her stove top that she began to mix into the teapot. She turned the heat on as the burner burned brightly which she saw out of the corner of her eye excited Blaze. It was definitely a full moon. She turned back to the group as Cameron began his speech. It was too late to stop him. This would most certainly push Alison off of the deep end. Erika needed both of them and right as Cameron finished she stood in front of him and her chest heaved as if she had started breathing much heavier. >
"Alison.. Please. Just stay. You couldn't expect this all to be peaches and cream. Just stay. Give this a chance... but do NOT harm Cameron. You know as well as I do that he needs to stay alive to defeat our Mother..."

- Continuing to watch the conversation in the Kitchen of Erika King's estate. She didn't like that Alison was able to zoom in on her. Kelly didn't want anyone to know who she was or what she was doing. It was nobody business especially that runaway of a daughter. Poor Alison, she still thought she was so tough. Kelly laughed. No matter how big and strong she got Kelly would still be a bigger bitch. This group was not a stupid one however. They were actually catching on which is something that worried her. She would have to move in soon. She would start with Alexis. Kelly didn't like the way she wanted them all to go look for her. -
"Ok, Alexis.. let's see if you are as malleable as your father Adam was..."
- Instantly Kelly was transported into the kitchen of the Newport Beach Estate only nobody was able to see her or even sense her. She walked over to the Meta Human as she rubbed her cheek with her fingers, Alexis only feeling a slight tingle as if she had an itch. Then Kelly spoke, but it was inside Alexis' mind. It sounded like her. It was almost as if Alexis was thinking it herself, and that is what she believed. Kelly continued her manipulation skills, her powers heightened tenfold since her transformation. -
"Alexis...you don't really want to know where Kelly is. You won't be able to sense her, she is too powerful for that. Just say it is a dumb idea and go back to thinking of Kelly and your father working together.. It scares you doesn't it..."
- Kelly pulled herself up as she sat on the kitchen table and could see down the long hallway. She decided she would wait to see her daughter's reaction to Cameron's MORE than true accusations. It was almost an admirable moment for Cameron. At least he had balls, which in retrospect was the reason she didn't want him. It was an ironic thought as Witchfire laughed to herself as she waited for the right moment to separate and kill. -

:: Watching as Cameron exploded at Alison...this was seriously not good. Alison was on the verge of killing Cameron and Haleigh as it was, now this was only going to complicate things even more. As Cameron ended his vicious monologue, Alexis took a breath in awaiting Alison to explode. Shifting her glance to Erika as the sister chimed in...Alexis had to give the woman credit, she was trying her best to keep this group stable--and THAT alone was a task all on it's own. Allowing a small sigh to escape, the meta human was about to put her two sense in when suddenly she felt a tingling sensation on her cheek. Stopping, Alexis' gaze fell to the floor....a look of concentration washed over her face when in reality it was utter confusion. "Alexis...you don't really want to know where Kelly is. You won't be able to sense her, she is too powerful for that. Just say it is a dumb idea and go back to thinking of Kelly and your father working together.. It scares you doesn't it..." What? No...why..why was she thinking this? Closing her eyes, Alexis' mind was racing as Kelly manipulated her thoughts. ::
"...Look, we need to stay on task. I know everyone has heighten emotions, especially the King Clan...but Kelly's out there and could strike at any moment. Now...honestly, trying to sense her was a dumb idea. Kelly is too powerful for that. So scratch that idea..."
:: What the hell was she say, of course it was a good idea...it was a brilliant idea actually. But in Alexis' mind, in the state that she was in now, it was horrible and stupid. But soon, the thought of tracking Kelly down was the last thing on her mind. Kelly and Adam working together? No...why couldn't Alexis get Adam out of her life! Every time she finally thought her life was getting back to normal, he kept on coming back---just now in a different forms. Growing anxious, Alexis' breathing began to grow rapid. If Kelly had worked with Adam...she knows everything about her. Her powers, her weaknesses, her secrets, her desires. Everything that not even The Six know about. Adam always loved to brief his clients on every possible particle of information. Just in case. It was the way Chandler worked. Alexis was more of a menace then she was helpful....As Kelly continued to manipulate her thought, Alexis continued to grow even more worried and paranoid, which normally, wouldn't be the issue with her. Looking up at the others, Alexis stayed quiet, stayed out of the conversation all together. She was physically there in the room...but the turmoil that was happening in her head prevented her from being an asset to the groups planning. ::

::Alison rushed forward...with her hand raised, ready to smack the hell out of Cameron across his jaw.....Erika made a TIMELY move to step in the way::
you slimey, greasy little eel. you are LESS than nothing...you were the misfit in this family line and a royal fuck up from the moment Kelly bore you into this world. I PROTECTED your sorry ass when YOUR mother tried to DROWN YOU like an unwanted pup. I kept you from MANY instances of death actually. I stood in defense of you and erika for YEARS until i finally grew tired of it. if I had NOT saved you from the battalion of drones, death wings and white noise bombs of MysTech that first night months ago...you wouldnt be here NOW.
UNLIKE YOU, my life and success were not predicated upon the wanton manipulation of innocent and unsuspecting humans through the use of my powers. YOU would STILL BE NOTHING MORE than a HOMELESS street urchin NOW if you hadnt manipulated, raped, and clawed your way to the top...violating the minds of innocents even HARMING and causing irreversible damage to those completely unprotected against your demented, avaricious machinations. YOU'RE the one who is pathetic....and the one who is always and forever will be the misfit...you pathetic MUTANT.
I am ONLY here because i have a PERSONAL issue to settle with Kelly ...as well as Erika....and NEITHER of those involve you. YOU should have DIED in the citadle you biological MISTAKE....in THAT much...i can AGREE with Kelly. YOU are just a waste of space....and whatever you have to say to make yourself feel better and stroke your unstable ego....you go right ahead.
Its obvious that you are uncomfortable being in the presence of so many women and that you have a problem with ANY woman who threatens your inflated "alpha male" complex. Too cowardly to voice your displesure with the other "bitches" in the room that you despise....but still you find it necessary to try to challenge me. Dont bother denying it because you were on the verge of attacking Blaze AND Alexis, but you realize that your the ONLY male in this room. WHATEVER you think doesnt matter...you ARE the weakest person in this room in terms of power....and therefore....YOU should be used as cannon fodder, but since Erika will undoubtedly fight me if i take control of your body, and there is no need for me to do to her what YOU clearly deserve, I will allow HER to conduct things long enough to achieve the immediate goal.
But rest assured, when this is over..if MORGAN doesnt kill you herself...there is MORE than one person in this room who would see you DEAD.
::Alison knew what was over the horizon in terms of events...after Kelly...the chaos that would follow with Morgan would culimnate in a terrifying event where someone that no one in The Six would suspect would attempt to expunge Cameron...::
oh....and if you try anything...whether Erika or anyone else is here...i WILL be forced to defend myself....and
::Alison thrusts her hand out like Piper...and BLOWS UP the wall clock RIGHT BESIDE Cameron's head. he would be able to feel the explosive deadly heat and some of the force...as the debris flew out behind him::
true enough...i havent tried to kill you MYSELF outright.....maybe there is something to having a heart and a sliver of compassion that carried over from my finding out about you in the citadle...but NOW...now that i know what kind of man you truly are? rest assured, that unless you stay here with Erika...you WILL have to watch your back because i will NO longer restrain myself.
::Alison glares at Cameron...waiting for him to do something...ANYTHING for the moment he does..she will already know...and she will MAIM him. Because Morgan had always been able to help Alison steady herself in the presence of Cameron.....and quiet as kept, Before Imagiomg attempted to posses and destroy Alison, SHE thought that perhaps she might be able to explain to her "baby brother" why she left them behind...why she couldnt take them with her . ::
::out of hint of respect for Erika...who had demonstrated that SHE at least was of a higher level of decency, Alison rethought destroying Erika's property and then gestured with the same hand she had unleashed her molecular acceleration power and she caught all the debris and fragments of the clock.....turning her hand and balling her fist...an eerie sound was heard as she rewound the temporal field around the clock....restoring it back to its former state on the all...and setting minute and hour hands at the precise right moment in time::
No amount of planning will avail anything. She's here now and she's going to try to divide everyone again. instead of just SHOWING herself, she wants to savor these moments. Erika, this is your house, you ought to be aware of every "living thing" in here....visible or not and no matter WHAT she has evolved into or become, Kelly is apart of our bloodline and just like she can track us....we can track her.
Notice that she only does her trickery when there is no one IMMEDIATELY attempting to scrutinize her. She has worked behind fasauds, and through the shadows, observing from afar and not daring to take on anyone directly. The only reason she was able to bypass Morgan's warding spells in Illustra was because she was able to GLAMOR into an exact replica of Morgan..right down to the retina....but Tinkerbell knew her for the fake that she was. Do you have a familiar here?

** Leaning back against the white cement wall, Blaze folded her arms across her chest. Her facial expression morphing into dislike at Haleigh's accusations. And who was SHE to point the finger at Blaze?! Foxfire remained quiet, watching the other's interact. Her eye sight following Alexis, who excused herself. She expected another catty retort back, it was disappointing to Blaze. She definitely shared her sister's more provocative statements that were mostly bitchy and catty. At the mention of her name, she locked onto Erika. Did the woman actually watch such a trashy talk show as Jerry Springer? Wow, there was a fact she didn't know or even ponder. But Blaze didn't comment, instead she watched Cameron unleash such a venomous statement towards Alison. And immediately Blaze glanced over to Alison, who by now was boiling. A hint to this was the witch's nasty glare she sent at Prophet. Leaning forward, Blaze was about to restrain Alison by her arm, but she moved too swiftly ready to strike her brother like a rattlesnake. **
** They were all such a dysfunctional family, in a way it humored Blaze. Here most of the clan members teased her about Morgan, but here they were constantly bickering or worse. It was at this time, Alexis returned but Blaze stopped suddenly. The tiny hair's on her arms and neck rose tremendously, just like that on a disturbed animal. Sniffing the air, Blaze found no traces but her hair never became erect unless something called for it. Zooming in on everything quickly, she backed up to glance down the hallway, but found nothing. **
** Only the most observant would notice Foxfire's strange behavior. She walked around Alexis slowly, circling her. **
"Why would you revoke your statement Alexis? Usually you stand firm with your statements...it was a clever idea. Its very unlike you..."
** Blaze began to pace back and forth like a tiger. Something wasn't right here and she KNEW it but she couldn't sense it. Her eyes went wide, what if Witchfire were here among them? Blaze nor anyone else wouldn't be able to detect it. **
"Erika, do you have any pets around here? If you do, please bring them down here immediately!"
** Coughing while she finished her statement. The air here seemed so suddenly stall but why? Blaze was quickly becoming on edge, her eyes transforming into there bronze shade. Only those dear to her would understand it was her defense. Her retina changed into infra red, she would be able to detect body heat. Her eyes scanned around the kitchen, she was close to detecting Kelly! **

- Kelly watched the She Wolf as she began to look around, the hairs on her body raised like a cat that sensed something wrong. She somewhat looked like Tinkerbell when Kelly saw her in Morgan's Penthouse. This exchange was getting quite heated between her children but what worried her was Blaze trying to sense her and Alison being on point about where Witchfire was. She decided that if things continued like this then she would just have to start about her plan a little earlier than expected. Waving her hand in the air a crash of breaking glass could be heard upstairs by all and with a projection of magick Erika would easily think it was coming from the Attic. There they would find her Familiar whom she had sensed was in the attic already and was creating the Illusion of the "Old" Kelly King just to scare everyone for a brief few moments while she worked up their fear and hysteria. -

< Erika watched as Alison actually maintained somewhat of a composure of which she hadn't expected. Though she wasn't all that impressed by her speech. Sure, Alison had protected Erika for years and sometimes even Cameron, but then she left. Her stories just didn't make sense. She couldn't take her mother anymore so she left her brother and sister alone to be tortured and abused. Cameron may not have been the most righteous person in the world but each member of the King Family had an incredibly dark side. One that Erika had worked her entire life to supress. She couldn't imagine being on her own at 15 or being left in an orphanage. She could see why they chose a path of darkness. They had actually so much in common but the two would never admit it to each other. She was surprised at Alison restoring her clock because she knew that Erika did not like displays of power in her own house. She listened about her mother and protecting her home. About a Familiar. She did have one. He was an Egyptian Mau named Archimedes. She hadn't seen him since she arrived home which was odd since he was usually always at her feet, much like Tinkerbell to Morgan. >
"Yes.. I do have a familiar. He hasn't even come to see me yet though, which I will admit is odd. But it isn't not like him to escape the house and lounge in the Garden. Hold on..."
< The silver bracelet with a Fire Emerald in the middle began to glow as she called out the cat's name. This wouldn't summon him but she knew immediately where he was and she could teleport to him. Suddenly everyone heard the sound of crashing glass. Erika could see it. Her cat. Kelly. The Book! She had to stop her mother from getting that Book! >
"It's my MOTHER! I have seen it! She is in the attic with my familiar! She wants the book! We have to get her!"
< Not saying anything, Erika ran out of the kitchen knowing everyone would follow her up the winding steps next to the foyer of her house to the second floor and up another flight of stairs to the attic. But some were moving slower than others as manipulation began to set in my Kelly herself. >

:: Cameron was seething inside. She was blaming him for using his powers to his advantage and then calling him the weakest member of the Six. She was part of the reason he was the way he was. She contributed to his arrogance, his constant self preservation mode. Nobody would ever be able to truly understand what he had went through unless they were him. He lived on the streets. The people in the orphanage were abusive. He went nights where he slept in boxes in the rain and sometimes didn't eat for days. The only comfort he found were in gangs that were just sad substitutes for the family that he didn't have. And now here was this woman who was supposed to be his sister calling HIM out on his poor behavior and lack of judgement or a conscience. This woman chose herself over others which was now a constant in her life. He hated her more than words and if she thought that they would kill him so easily, she had no idea what Cameron had in store for her. If people thought Morgan was bad now, they would have to wait and watch what Cameron could do to her through only verbal assault, attacking her senses and everyone around here. People were about to see a whole new side of Cameron, one of which EVERYONE would have to watch out for. Alison had just made things worse for the entire group. This was not the end. If everyone was so afraid to see Morgan go over the deep end then maybe he would have to let Alison experience LOSS for once in her life. Make her lose the one friend she has in the world. Maybe then she would appreciate the family she turned her back on. Self Preservation Mode aside. Now was the cruel side of Cameron King coming out, and one that Alison would WISH she never brought out. He watched her display of power and her amazing skills of deflection as she diverted the conversation and asked about Familiars ::
"Yeah, didn't you say you had a dream about your familiar when you ran into Tinkerbell?"
:: Suddenly the conversation was haulted as everyone began to run down the hall on Erika's command to the attic where supposedly Kelly was. Suddenly, Cameron heard whispers in his ears. It sounded like his voice, like his conscience, his thoughts. He had no choice but to listen. ::
"Cameron.. stop dear.. Mommy needs to have a word with her baby boy... don't worry, the others will think you are still behind them.. stop in your tracks..."
:: With seemingly no control over his body, Cameron stopped dead in his tracks ::

::Without giving Cameron another thought, and hearing Erika's urgent exclamation Guardian followed quickly, moving with surprising strong strides inspite of wearing stillettos.::
I'm going ahead!
::Guardian herself BLINKED up the stairs and to the attic....she was a true bird of prey....with sharp vision, reflexes that could be accelerated to near light speed, and her lethal instinct was second to none. if Kelly was still in the attic and that wasnt an ILLUSION that she fed Erika, Guardian decided to meet her head on.::
::she blinked in....crouched down and posed....in her black leather body suit....her cobalt blue eyes quickly scanned the room, while her precognition would alert her to any upcoming movements from anyone OTHER than those she had been with in the kitchen. By her accelerating everyone else, they would arrive much faster than expected as well.::

** With minutes to spare, Blaze stopped her pacing when something upstairs shattered. Foxfire immediately looked at Erika, who would obviously recognize the sound and even Cameron could perhaps see the event happening or Alison. But just as it began, Erika took off with Alison following, except she disappeared in the blink of an eye. **
"Erika! Alison!"
** Yelled Blaze frantically, she grit her teeth quickly racing after Erika who was running up the stairs. Pumping her arms faster, Blaze stopped roughly holding onto the railing, "what's happening!" She shrieked as the stairs seemed to be moving in shape. Blinking her eyes a couple of times to clear the hallucination. It was to no avail and Blaze found herself panicking while her feet decreased in their running speed. She was half way up the spiral staircase when her senses were tricked into the mirage. Stepping halfway on the step, Blaze lost her footing. Gasping with freight, she waved her arms in the air, trying to catch her balance. Nothing was in sight as Blaze tumbled roughly down the stairwell. Her body smacking down each step, even the room ached from Foxfire's accident. She finally stopped before hitting into the wall. Another loud pound was heard from her skull connecting too. Her whole body throbbed with pain but she was still conscious. Moaning under her breath, Blaze growled at the trickery Kelly had used. She was in such a hurry to catch Erika she was easily fooled. **
"Fuck!"
** Blaze began to get up when she felt light headed, who fell back down. Blood inched its way down her forehead past the corner of her right eye. Reaching up to her forehead, Blaze felt blood. Between a throbbing headache and a nauseous feeling, Blaze was stable. Inhaling a long breath, she slowly got to her feet now, cautious and careful. She should have flamed upstairs instead of running, Guardian was the intelligent one who thought ahead. Blaze got to her feet but leaned against the wall with the palm of her hand. The cut across her scalp disappeared, leaving just fresh blood. Shutting her eyes, Blaze whispered something under her breath that was incoherent. **
** Opening her eyes, she cracked her neck to both sides, relaxing the muscles. Turning to see the damage she had done to the wall, she rubbed her palm over it, "damn!" She said, surprised at the extent of her fall. Blaze decided to wait downstairs instead. Taking a seat on one of the steps not far from the bottom. Her fingertips danced along her widows peak to massage her temples. Her wound was completely healed, the only sign was fresh blood. Blaze could strongly smell the odor but ignored it. Her ears listened upstairs, tuning in like a radio. She heard Guardian's small minimal movements and Erika who ran up the stairs more. **
"Clever witch, using the conquer and divide method....I like her already!"

- Kelly now stood before Cameron looking him dead in the face with a passion in her eyes that was almost scary. The others were finding their own traps that she had placed for them. In fact, almost nobody would make it to the attic without some kind of mental or physical wound. They thought they were gaining the other hand and now Kelly had to quickly tell them that they didn't and the first victim would have to be her son. She was at eye level with him exactly as put a nail on his face. Cameron found himself unable to move at all or speak, but she could tell that he was definitely petrified. Her nails traced around his face as she talked to him in a condescending tone. -
"So this is my dear young Son.. Don't try moving. That will only make things harder. It's hard to believe that you are alive and let alone have powers of your own. I guess in some ways I underestimated you, but then again, who cares. Both of my DAUGHTERS could outpower you on your BEST day Cameron..."
- With the blink of an eye Kelly was now standing behind him, the room was almost in complete darkness and their bodies only glowed a soft shadowy blue. Witchfire continued on whispering in his ear. -
"Don't let Erika fool you.. Alison is right about you.. though Alison is no gem herself. You weren't wanted Cameron. I curse the day you were conceived.. I tried to kill you several times after you were born but Alison and Erika protected you.. This time. They won't have the chance.. You're mine..."
- Within another instant, Kelly was now standing a few feet away from Cameron as her entire demeanor turned from seemingly calm to rage as she lashed out with her long manicured nails, slashing Cameron in the throat as blood spilled to the floor. He fell to the ground with a thud. For a moment, Kelly watched the blood drip from his neck, seeming to revel in the bloodshed. Then, waving her hand, Cameron shimmered out of the Estate. Kelly had moved him to a safe place. Her blood red eyes glew as did the pool of blood, before she turned up towards the stairs, working on her next target, shimmering out of sight, the only trace that she had been there being a solid drop of blood that had dripped off of her nails. -

:: Cameron found himself standing face to face to his mother. He was enraged petrified and depressed all at once. He found that his own thoughts meant nothing and that his powers were useless. He was completely at her will. He could sense her power and feel her darkness. She provoked him as if she wanted him to struggle because everytime he did he felt excruciating pain but could make no facial expression or scream. ::
:: He was thankful that nobody else was around him because for the first time in his life he felt completely helpess and wanted to cry. She was belittling him making him feel like he was nothing and he was doing a much better job than Alison or Morgan could ever do. She kept switching back and forth from his view and all he could was sit and watch. Cameron felt absolutely nothing until the jagged cut of Kelly's nail against his throat hit. He felt everything as he was gurgling blood into his mouth as he fell to the floor hitting his head with a large thud, something he was surely going to get a concussion from. ::
:: In an instant he found himself on the cold stone floor of some building. He could see the Ocean and the room was illuminated by candles, but that was pretty much all that he could see before fading into oblivion ::

- Kelly now stood before Alexis who suddenly found herself in a completely different hall than the rest of the people. She was completely able to move and use her powers but for whatever reason she didn't want to. Witchfire walked up to her and laughed at the girl, staring her down much like when Spellbinder did the same thing to Alexis. The lights in the hall flickered before bursting out one by one. She was now right behind Alexis whispering in her ear as she pointed in a direction. -
"Hush Alexis... don't fret. I know what you were fearing.. but he's back. Adam Chandler is back... He's right there ALEXIS! KILL HIM! KILL HIM AGAIN or he will only come back STRONGER!"
- Now Alexis was back in the same hall but right behind Haleigh. Only this time she didn't see Haleigh at all, she only saw Adam Chandler. She wanted to attack her right out and no matter what Haleigh said it wouldn't go through to Shockwave, Kelly had warped her into going into hunting mode. Alexis would have to be pryed off of Haleigh only when she felt the warm wet blood of her father on her hands. It wouldn't be long until the two would be battling out right. -
- Shimmering over to Blaze who had a nice little gash on her body which was bleeding she wondering what she could do to her to get her out of the picture. Blaze was a smart one and she began to work her magick. Blaze was no longer with the rest of the group. She was in some different kind of hallway, one that never ended and never would. She would just keep running and running. With the full moon out she would be more apt to try and find what was at the end of the hall, using her own animal nature against her. The thrill of the hunt would be too great. And now.. Delilah. This might be a little more difficult than the rest because Delilah was a lot like Erika, but from what Kelly knew about MorningStar's time in Valiant was her powers. As Delilah began walking down the hall everything faded to black. There was nothing. She found that her ability to generate light was not working. She was stuck in complete and udder darkness with no way out. She was lost. The darkness was absolutely terrifying. -
"Let's see how you like that Officer..."

< As Erika turned the corner to start her ascent up the attic stairs she turned around to find that she was the only one there. Where could they have gone? Was everyone okay? This was the only downside to being a white witch. Her drastic compassion for other people. She needed to know if they were okay. The second she touched down on the floor from the stairs she heard her cat screech at a High Pitch sound, sounding extremely alarmed. Something was going wrong. She would have to get up those stairs but suddenly it seemed the stairs were much longer and much higher. The stairs had been shifted into a mountain side and it was as if Erika was climbing a mountain. She would need to find her baring for each step or fall to an impending death. She hoped that everyone was okay. She just needed time to get to them. >

:: Confused...Alexis watched Blaze pace around her...what was she doing? Yes true, she thought trying to sense Kelly was a good idea, but after further evaluation of it, it seemed to be pointless. But before Alexis could protest, her gaze shot to the ceiling hearing the commotion happening upstairs. Her eyes widening, Alexis' head shot back down to see everyone fleeing from the kitchen. Alison, Erika, Blaze, Haleigh....each of them passed her, sprinting up the stairs. Quickly following behind the others, Alexis slid on the hardwood flooring as she grabbed the large oak railing which was the start of the stair case. Catching herself, without missing a beat, she sprinted up the stairs continuing to follow the others. But of course, Kelly was manipulating her the entire time. Alexis didn't even react to Blaze's disastrous fall...to Alexis, Blaze was still running full speed ahead of her along with the others. As Blaze went tumbling down to the landing of the stairs, Alexis continued to run until she suddenly found herself in a vacant hallway. Everyone had disappeared...coming to a halt, the hall was silent, eerie. The only sound that could be heard was Alexis panting for air. ::
"..What.."
:: The lights soon began to flicker making Alexis look up to the ceiling once again. She wasn't doing this.....she wasn't using her powers...her entire expression had now changed to utter fear. It was like this scene was taken out of "The Shining"...Alexis standing in the eerie hallway, doors all around her, but no one there. All that was needed to top off this creepy experience were those scary little twins on their bikes. But soon, the twins were the least of her concern. Hearing a cackling echo throughout the hallway, Alexis screamed as her body jumped from fear as the light bulbs began to burst above her head. The entire hallway went dark. Alexis breathing began to pick up..."Hush Alexis... don't fret. I know what you were fearing.. but he's back. Adam Chandler is back... He's right there ALEXIS! KILL HIM! KILL HIM AGAIN or he will only come back STRONGER!" Screaming, Alexis was now back in reality...and Haleigh was her target. ::
"NO!!!"
:: Thrusting her arm out toward the direction of Haleigh, a chain of electricity came out of the palm of her hand (much like Scorpio from Mortal Combat). The chain wrapped around Haleigh's neck, tightening on contact. Pulsating electrical charges throughout the redhead's body, Alexis threw her arm back, PULLING Haleigh toward her like a rag doll. The moment Haleigh came flying at Alexis, she swiftly stepped to the side as the woman went flying into the wall behind the meta human. Continuing to hold her hand out, the chain continued to wrap around Haleigh's body "chaining" her to the wall. ::
"Why can't you just leave me alone!!! Just leave me alone, Adam!!!"
:: Screaming at her "father", Alexis eyes filled with tears as a mixture of rage and raw fear ran throughout the meta human's body. Her hand still erect, the chain had detached itself from her hand as the last of it wrapped tightly around Haleigh's helpless body. The electrical pulses stopped....but any movement on Haleigh's part would set off a massive jolt, much like an electric chair. ::

Haleigh stayed silent for the most part... everyone seemed to be getting worse... and H wondered for a breif moment if it was because Kelly was near.... Alexis recanted her idea, Cameron stood up for himself and Alison retorted... most everyone now was seconds away from killing each other and for once... Hales anger and irritation seemed to subside... now she was just SICK of it. How could they ever be a team? Erika was the only one who didnt have it out for someone in the group and by now she had gotten a little preachy... Haleigh rubbed her eyes... Erika explained that spells and traps wouldnt really work, so Haleigh nodded, but said nothing more. blaze seemed provoked by something in the air... and circled Alexis... and then the bottom dropped out and Erika called everyone after her, running for the attic. Haleigh took a deep breath... her thoughts were laced with tired sarcasm... Oh, yes... lets ALL go up there, to who know what, not just walk, but RUN right into a possible ambush... all for a goddamned book... whatever happened to strategy, what ever happened to covering ALL our bases? Or for that matter.... all our asses? Haleigh passed Cameron and Alexis, heading for the stairs. She had a growing uneasy feeling in the center of her being... she warned that it could be a trap but no one seemed to be paying attention. Blaze was only a step ahead of her when she fell, and quite nearly took Haleigh down with her.... Haleigh, still climbing, two steps from the top, turned as Blaze came by, grabbing her shirt to try to stop her but the fabric ripped, leaving Haleigh reaching after Blaze, one hand clenching the handrail, calling her name as Blaze stopped at the bottom. Haleigh froze in place, as Blaze stood up and seemed okay... she was concerned about the damage done to the damn wall... Haleigh shook her head and climbed the last bit of stairs and stood on the landing... she stopped and turned to look back down. She could see Alexis and Blaze, she knew Erika and Alison were ahead of her... the uneasy feeling seemed to have multiplied exponentially.
"Wait.... WHERES Cameron??"
She asked, turning to Alexis, who had come up the stairs and stopped. Alexis suddenly went ballistic, and though Haleigh saw it coming, couldn't do very much about it, and was forced to bear through it until she hit the wall and the pulse seemed to calm... had Alexis just called her Adam? was she hallucinating? was she MAD? Haleigh's face was etched with pain...she didnt dare move... but she knew better than to try to talk her way out of it... she would have to subdue Alexis... and kill her later if neccessary... so THIS was why they didnt work well together... Alexis had the tendency of cracking under pressure and attacking her own teammates... it was also why Haleigh failed to understand what Cameron saw in this woman. Haleigh said nothing, as she prepared for what she would do next.... it always felt weird afterward, everytime she excercised... she set off an EMP in her mind, and an invisible shockwave spread out from around her instantly. It killed the electric current and Haleigh dropped to the floor.... and then the whole house went pitch black as all power was grounded. Haleigh lay motionless... the only problem with the EMP was that she couldnt seemed to immunize herself from it... it always knocked her out for a few seconds. As she came to, she had the familiar sensation that it left her, as though she was weightless. She didnt move. In the darkness, she could just barely make out Alexis' form... and hiding her movement in the shadows, she manifested a small modified M9 handgun. She aimed and fired quickly, a small 'flit' noise emitting.
the next thing Alexis would feel is a sharp pinch in her thigh... but by the time she reached down to see what it was, the projectile wouldve already injected her with the tranquilizer, and enough to down a horse. A Few seconds later and Alexis would feel drowsy... and Haleigh would wait until she fell to the floor to move, for she was still trying to get rid of this vertigo.

:: Looking around as the entire house went pitch black, Alexis took a few steps back only seeing a faint figure of what looked like "Adam" laying on the ground. What had happened? But before Alexis could further investigate, she felt a sharp pain in her thigh as the dart from Haleigh's gun berried deep within her tissue. Moaning in pain, Alexis pulled the dart from her thigh....grasping it in her palm for a few moments, why would Adam use a dart?...Unless...as the tranquilizers further made it's way in Alexis' blood stream, the more she became groggy...the more "clear" things became. For some reason the tranquilizers from Haleigh's dart seemed to ward off Witchfire's manipulation on her...and soon Alexis realized what really had happened. ::
"Haleigh...i'm.."
:: Her grasp on the dark soon began to loosen as it rolled out of her hand and fell to the floor. The only other words Alexis to muster to day before she dropped to the ground were: ::
"Witchfire....manipulated.."
:: Collapsing to the ground, Alexis laid motionless, now officially knocked out from the tranquilizers. Whether Haleigh would understand her message or decide to crucify Alexis was in the redhead's hands...Alexis just continued to sleep awaiting the effects of the tranquilizers to ware off.::

** Blaze's thoughts were filled with Cameron who suddenly sounding like he was endanger. Blaze stood up quickly, her shirt rather ripped up from Haleigh's strong attempt to grab her. She completely destroyed her shirt, but oh well, it was immaterial. It seemed Hal's always had her back, even if they didn't agree. The second Blaze began to run towards the kitchen, the room changed. During that duration of time, she could hear the interaction between Alexis and Haleigh, her hearing clear as day. Foxfire's senses alerted to a new change in scenery. Turning to her side, she growled under her breath. Her heartbeat began to heavily increase pace as she stumbled into the wall, crying out in pain. Through the hallway, she noticed a small window that brightly shine the full moon. Foxfire's eyes became entranced onto the beauty of it. **
"BITCH!"
** Her eyes immediately began to morph into a deep baby blue shade until fading into the pitch blackness of her mutation. Gasping and coughing frantically, Blaze felt her skin tearing in some segments and her bones growing in other areas. Lifting her shirt up, she saw her washboard abs ribbing up into various dimensions. Releasing her shirt, she watched her knuckles cracking as sharp black claws grew from them, causing he hands to grow in size. Unleashing a painful cry from her metamorphous substituting a normal cry with an unholy beast cry. It was too late, the full moon called to her like a Siren and she welcomed its call. Opening her mouth wide expressing her pearly white teeth which were now also growing intensely into pearly white fangs dripping with saliva. Her hybrid mix of Lycan and Vampire clashing through her body. Roaring with rage, Blaze lost her subconscious thought, now she just desired to hunt. Fresh BLOOD was probably the only primal thought she wanted! **
** Narrowing her pitch black eyes, Blaze took off running on before leaping onto the side of the wall on two feet. She was capable of running on the walls and ceilings if she so desired. She still looked slightly human but more like Michael at the end of Underworld. She raced down the hallway quickly only to see it growing in length! No! Another trap set by that witch! I'm going to ripe her throat out and then EAT her heart with my bear teeth! She thought with pure malice and vengeance. Blaze's heavy boots stomped down onto the side of the wall, moving faster. She was determined to reach this end, to see the moon better, and to participate in the hunt. Her nostrils inhaling the air around her, sucking in particles of dust and various scents. **
** Blaze was incredibly stubborn right now, only making her journey so much more extreme. Her body so much stronger and more built then her average petite frame earlier. She would see this through to the end! **

::Alison "saw" what was happening to the others....they were falling victim to Kelly in such a predictable fashion, she shouldve accelerated their temporal fields so that they couldve made it to the attic with her fast. But she had left them behind to face down her mother.....and now, she couldnt help them. She scanned the room....poised and battle ready on multi fronts....and though she heard screams and body falls...she would NOT go back down there, for now being at the top of the house...gave her a tactical advantage. Alison immediately looked down and saw the unusual looking, but beautiful cat...it was most clearly upset at her and now hissing loudly.::
what!?

::Alison slowly bent down..the leather of her body suit stretching slightly to hug her toned legs as she was now slightly kneeling on her heels. she slowly extended her hand....which was also completely gloved. - Kelly pretended to lick Alison's hand in a petting manner so as to eat the Catnip. Knowing about Alison's ability to see the most probable events of the future wouldn't help her here. In fact, it was what had been somewhat hindering her all along. It was the maternal connection to Kelly that was preventing Alison from being able to detect that she herself was Archimedes. Witchfire was manipulating the situation with her magick. Though Alison was extremely powerful and had a PSI Screen, their connection as mother and daughter was somewhat allowing Kelly to bypass it if only to creat subtle forms of magick such as Illusion. With Alison's hand still extended, Kelly bit down on the gloves and broke through, drawing the Seer's blood before scurrying backwards and standing up. With a puff of black smoke she reverted back to her human form and before Alison could even react, Kelly lifted a fiery shield of protection over her body which was the Triple Crescent which was supposed to represent herself and her two daughters, but with her transformation she was able to manifest the symbol herself. She looked at her daughter and Laughed. -
"Jesus Christ Alison! Stand Up Straight! You're slouching and your make up! Seriously.. does Phyllis Diller ring any bells! You became a wreck the day after you LEFT didn't you!?"
- Kelly needed the book but she felt a little reunion with her daughter was necessary. After all, it was what Alison wanted the most and Kelly couldn't wait to prove to her daughter that still after all these years she could outpower her daughter. She would NOT win this time! -

::Guardian yanked her hand away and glared at the cat as it scampered back and transformed into Kelly::
:: Alison rolled her eyes...unmoved by her mother's cloak and dagger routine::
Decrepit Wench...you're about as OLD as Phyllis Diller...and if not for the magicks that sustain you now...it would SHOW. Unlike the others in this house and in this wretched family...you DONT hold any sway over me..you never did....and dont bother trying to "confuse" me with your "sub conscious suggestion/manipulation" like you did your bastard son Cameron.
I left you because just like an alcoholic...YOU became a nuisance....and an impedment....YOU are not the end all/be all that this world has to offer in terms of Magick...in fact..you were nothing more than a pebble on the path of the winding way.
::the room started to rumble ...as the house was now shaking..::
You think youve got power because you've come back from another dimension that youll actually PROOVE how grand you are? well all that means...is that we get MANGLE your ass and send you some place where you WONT return
::Guardian, Like Morgan possessed a lethal instinct....and Cameron had it RIGHT when he accused them of being sadists. Guardian was now about to draw on all the powers she'd honed and perfected, the magicks she learned along the winding way and around the world .....IF she were to die, Kelly's soul would provide the light for her path to the next life for sure::
STEP OUT from behind your field, old woman.....and for once in your life, stand face to face!
::knowing that Kelly would be provoked....as she was an incessantly vain and over confident woman, Alison took a pro active approach...WHATEVER kelly had become...she was not a TIME/CHAOS Mage ....THAT was what set alison apart from Erika and Kelly. So now....though that barrier protected the SPACE around Kelly....it could not protect the temporal fields outside and around the barrier and Kelly would HAVE to move in or through that area to even reach Alison.::
With the Powers of night and space
Send forthe an energy in which to encase
Kelly King in this time and place.
::Alison pointed and gestured....as a spiral of blue/white energy flowed and spun around the barrier...encasing IT and everythign WITHIN ...and now Kelly would be STUCK in that time and place...like becoming stabilized in the pressurized cabin of an airplane. if she moved, or even blinked out...her body would be racked with a painfull, servere "adjustment reaction".

- Kelly looked at her daughter as she conjured a file and began to file her nails as Alison continued on her annoying monologue that represented something of a tragic hero. The only thing about tragic heroes was that in the end they always die and Witchfire was just waiting for the chance to put her daughter back in her place which was at her mother's foot. She sighed as the nail file dissappeared and she turned her gaze back to her daughter and laughed. -
"Are you done? Jesus Christ you people talk so much! It is like watching some kind of Primetime Soap Opera! You call what you have POWER, Alison? I mean in your twisted head do you really believe that?! The reason why you are standing here now, the reason you HAVEN'T obliterated me yet goes back to your childhood! You are WEAK! Stand in front of your own "shields" Alison but the truth remains the same!"
- As the room began to shake and rumble, Kelly could sense the change in Alison. She was drawing upon some strong magicks. Her daughter was stupid if she thought that Kelly hadn't grown in power or strength as well! She lived in a Hell dimension for years! Everyday she struggled and stole power to claim it as her own to stay alive! She FED off of the destruction. It made her stronger, it made her formidable. And if Alison KING thought that she could fight off the Mother that GAVE her her birthrite, she was mistaken. -
"Remember where that power stems from Alison. I brought you into this world and it would be my PLEASURE to take you out!"
- Before she could say anything else she heard the spell being ignited. Damnit. Her daughter had bested her for the moment. Kelly's eyes flickered as she began to use her Magic Sense to see the traces of energy that the spell contained. It was compromised of Chaos Magick along with Alison's own Temporal Control. She had definitely done her homework. This would slow her down but it wouldn't stop her. She knew to break hold it would cause great physical pain but knowing that she had shed her mortal body for a denser and stronger demonic form, she was risking to take the pain. She blinked out of the field and in front of her daughter. The pain was intense but Kelly had learned a LONG time ago how to channel pain and rage into power. She lashed out as she grabbed her head in her hands and shrieked. At that very moment Alison felt herself engulfed in swirling flames of Witchfire, the fire from which Kelly had trained and honed. It was something only she could control and was mystic in nature. Not even Kelly herself knew exactly where it came from but it was effective. It assaulted and not only burned the outside flesh but ignited the INSIDE on fire in a internal and mental assault of the body and senses. The pain would very much HINDER Alison and cause EXTREME physical pain and though the flames could be slowed the burns would increase in intensity. Kelly stumbled around the attic to try and find her stance. She needed to get the book and get it out of the Estate. -

Instinctively...she began to slow the immediate temporal field that surrounded her body. this brought a SMALL but MUCH NEEDED amount of a reprieve from the PAIN...and her body suit, which was composed of unstable molecules also helped to insulate her skin against behing burned::
the flames....of hell.........uggghhhhhh!!
::Closing her eyes, Guardian remembers the teachings of Dormammu, one of the most powerful mystics that ever was...his head...was engulfed in never ending mystic flame...and he , along with Mephisto..showed her the legions of HADES ...the flames of hell itself. She knew that the flames never ended...and consumed the weak of spirit and mind ...and she was NEITHER. With a scream of defiance and a tremendous HEAVE of FORCE and telekinetic power, Guardian thrusts her hands out and BLASTS the flames back from her as though she were parting the red seas. She falls to her knees....but forces herself to stand up seeing Kelly frantically trying to reach Erika's book.::
STUPID HAG....I studied under the mage, Dormammu....YOUR pitifull manipulation of hellfire is more than evident...and if you think the pain of hell is enough to stop me from KILLING YOU..then youve got another thing COMING! If i die tonight...YOU'RE coming with me!
::Breathing heavily.....Guardian thrust her hand out, snatching Kelly in her tracks and accelerating her ...spinning her like a spinning top so hard and so fast....::
Air of Sylph, destructive gale,

Before the Demon Witch could do anything else she found herself pulled into the air and spinning at rapid speeds. She knew that this vertigo was a part of her daughters powers and as Alison ignited a spell, so did Kelly. -
"In the name of the All-seeing. In the name of the All-freeing! Let the Flames of the Faltine Now free me from this maddening merciless vertigo!"
- Slowly as the endless spinning began to slow, Kelly became enveloped in Witchfire as Alison's spell now came to fruition as the lightning and hailstones began to fire at her in a rapid pace. Kelly centered herself for a brief moment as she was knicked in the arm by one of the bolts as she fell backwards and into a bookcase in the corner of the room. Lifting up her hand she quickly flew to the floor just like one of those inflatable hitting clowns as harsh winds began to blow and Kelly was now levitating over the ground as the wind swept past her hair. Her blood red eyes now glew an eery demonic shade of red as the hails seemed to be bouncing off an invisible forcefield. Moving forward as the tips of her toes dragged along the floor (think Nancy in the Craft) she ignited yet another spell. -
"Soul of evil guide this dart, of black lightning to HER heart!"
- A enormous blast of black lightning crackled out of Kelly's hand as it lit up the room as papers and cupboards flashed open. The lightning was moving so fast that Alison would have little or no time to react to it and if the blast hit her, it would knock her unconscious and almost act like a lethal poison as it ran the course of her system. It would take a great healer to fix the wounds she had suffered from her mother. -
"YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE THE ONLY ONE WHO TRAINED WITH THESE HIGHER POWERS?! YOU ARE A PITIFUL FOOL ALISON! AND IT IS STARTING TO GET ON MY NERVES!!!!!"
- The black lightning now stemmed off into several blasts hitting different things in the room causing them to explode as the plant on the window sill began to wither and fade. Alison would be in need of help very soon. -

::Guardian was ready to move in with her next assault, when she was taken by the force of Kelly's retaliation spell...Guardian back pedaled and dodged several of the bolts with splended form and speed...and this was WITHOUT accelerating herself. but alas, she lost her footing on an uneven bit of CARPETING of all things and began to toppel backwards...a bolt of black lightning grazing her side....tearing through her leather body suit and gashing that area of skin...as she fell back into the wall, hitting her head hard.::
OHH!!!!
::She shook her head..her vision slightly blurred...as she was now sitting/fallen back aginst the wall. still showing no fear...no feeling of worry, she gathered the last of her functioning strength::
Guardian of Chaos, I call upon your power
Your wrath, you will now let loose
Reflect their spells, making them cower
Their actions do now become their noose!
:: blue sparkling shards swirled and flowed round the room...the powerful protection/reflection spell ignited...turning Kelly's last attack BACK on her in the same manner that it was sent against Alison and any more spells ignited against her would be sent RIGHT BACK at Kelly. As Alison fought for consciousness...she used her incredible strength of will...as she manifested her own personal field of protection. Time slowed to a crawl around her as a HEFTY barrier of mystic protection formed a cylidrical circumference up around her. She shut her eyes tightly...gritting her teeth as she applied pressure to her wound to stop the bleeding. This battle was fierce...but ONLY just begun and Alison would not give in. Her head throbbed, a possible concussion...and her vision blurred ever few moments, but she continued to stare down Kelly.::

- Kelly had gotten what she wanted and that was to hurt her daughter. She didn't want to do that at this moment. She wanted to watch her children die together so that they could see the pain on each other's faces. It was more than a reward just to see Alison in pain now. As the spell was reflected back upon her, Kelly had no choice but to make this her getaway. She needed to use the spell to work against the shield on Erika's Altar. Using her powers of Telekinesis she was able to heave the blasts of lightning directly onto the shield. The shield blasted with intensity as it dissipated in the air. Kelly grabbed the Book of Shadows as she could just feel the energy flow through her body. She was back and now things were about to get ugly. Looking at Alison she could only smile but soon the smile turned to a hideous gaze as she spit over at the woman. -
"This is not over by a LONG Shot Alison! NOT BY A LONG SHOT!"
- With a snap of her fingers and a blast of lightning the Demon Witch dissappeared without a trace as suddenly all the magick that she had worked on the group had dissappeared. Everyone found themselves in different areas in the house somehow confused. Erika would find herself at the bottom of the attic stairs but with all the debris that flew everywhere there was no entrance to the attic and Erika had no way of telling who was up there or not. Kelly had left things in chaos and the only one missing it was Cameron, whom Kelly would use as the bait to lure them all to their deaths. -

< Erika soon found herself falling from the mountain side she had been climbing trying to reach whoever was in the attic. She was now on the floor of the third floor of her Estate and standing in front of the Attic Door which would not budge. It wasn't the door that was bothering her. It was the complete and udder silence of her house! Where was everyone? They had been just behind her? And where was Alison? She had blinked out of the way before everything started happening. Was everyone in the attic? Where they hurt? Erika was going crazy in her head! She wished that she could just get them all together in the attic to make sure they were okay. In a swirl of white orbs and bright lights, Erika found herself in the attic. That wasn't strange as Erika had always been able to orb herself. The strange thing was that seconds after she appeared each and every member of the Six appeared as well in the same white orbs. She had teleported them all. Her powers must have been expanding. Erika had always only been able to teleport small objects such as athames and objects of the sort, but never people. She reveled in the moment for a very brief time until she noticed that Alison was in deep pain. Quickly she rushed to her sister's side. >
"Oh my Goddess.. Alison! Let me see that..."
< Placing her hands over the wound, Erika began to heal Guardian as she felt bathed in ethereal light. The mental and internal assault that she had suffered was being healed as well. Before long Alison felt extremely refreshed and rejuvinated but slightly tired and a little meager as it would take a little bit for the full effects of the healing to take effect. She looked over at her altar and almost burst into tears. >
"Oh! She got her Book of Shadows!"
< Things were definitely not looking Good. >

:: Guardian glared at Erika....showing her clenched teeth....but she was rather stunned and hurting. Erika worked her magick on Guardian...and Guardian felt nauseated and faint at first...but she soon breathed deeply and slowly exhaled as the damage was repaired. she blinked once, slowly as she stood up and looked at the others. her tone cold and "matter of fact".::
Many thanks, Erika.....I forced that decrepit wench back....but she got me one good time, and managed to get your book. SHE was posing as your cat, so your actual familiar is probably hurt...or dead.
::Guardian waved her hand dismissively and formed a waving, shimmering scrying pool that faced vertically for everyone to see the events and dialogue of the fierce battle that had just taken place. they saw that Alison HAD held her own against Kelly and even forced her back....WITHOUT their help. BUT they also Saw Kelly's psychotic drive and ambition, she was like a female Michael Myers with a voice...and it was clear she was no longer the same Kelly King that Valiant had faced. She was going for broke in this caper and nothing LESS than savage, hard hitting offense/defense would stop her::
You cant reason with her, you cant appeal to her. you have to FIGHT HER...and DONT STOP until you DRIVER HER BACK...on this time....we must make sure we FINISH HER OFF. She's got that book, and she's going to finish what she started years ago when you first banished her. She's got Cameron too....and she'll use HIM to lure those among us FOOLISH enough to fall for it.
::Alison looked her sister dead in the eye...and then at the others::

** The illusion for Foxfire quickly terminated as it started. Her visual perception altered when she round herself running through one of the hallways, standing on the side of the wall. Walking down the wall, Blaze's more primal features disappeared in the blink of an eye. Replaced by all of her human characteristic's. She searched for Alexis and Haleigh, who she had remembered hearing what sounded like a confrontation. And when she got to them, she spotted Alexis out cold. **
"What happened here?"
** Her voice firm and strong, stepping over some debris to reach Haleigh and Alexis. "Thanks for the attempted safe though." She said, pulling her ripped up shirt off until replacing it with her black blazer, buttoning it up. Blaze could smell the odor of blood once more, causing her to swiftly locate this, someone was hurt. Standing inside the kitchen, her green eyes zooming in. "Cameron." Was all Blaze said, she knew it was his. There was nothing any of them could do right now. Guardian! **
** Foxfire didn't bother trying the stairs, this time she flamed up inside the attic, in search of Guardian. **

< Erika was almost stunned that her sister said thank you for the healing but it was just proof that there was good in everybody. She wished Cameron was here to see this all. She couldn't believe that she had let Kelly get to Cameron. Everything she had worked so hard to protect was falling apart. She watched the pool as she seemed terrified of what her mother had become. She was Demonic and extremely powerful. This wasn't looking good and now that she had her Book of Shadows back things would only get worse. She however did not like that Alison had no plans to go and rescue Cameron. They all still had a long way to go. She dusted herself off and looked at the group. Her quicksilver eyes glowing against the pale light of the moon which was the only light that shone in the room. >
"Alison, I get what you are saying.. but we must save Cameron. If we let her have Cameron, she will only be one step closer to her bounty. She will send us another message tonight. A Calling Card if you will. We just have to be prepared for it."
< Her thoughts went out to the see where she wondered if Morgan was alright through all of this. Had Kelly been to manipulate her as well? Would this cause her to finally go off the deep end? So many things hinged on the death of Kelly King. She had caused so much emotional and psychological damage to this group that she wasn't sure if it could be repaired. She hoped that Morgan was okay. As the others began to talk amongst themselves for a moment, Erika whispered quietly to Alison. >
"Do you think there is anyway possible that Morgan will return tonight? Now that Cameron is away I think she would be apt to stay. We do need her help..."

<< Standing up....the winds seemed to whip into a frenzy, just as they did in the "dream" when she was stabbed. But that was MORE than a dream. Morgan had just CROSSED OVER and was now...EVIL>>
<<with a wicked smirk on her face...Morgan TELEPORTS via stepping disc.. from miles out at sea....directly to the ATTIC of Erika's house...BOOMING into view as the disc opens and catches everyone off guard. Spellbinder steps forward....her new look both cosmetic and costume....were obvious to the others....and it was clear, as the temperature in the room began to HEAT UP...that something was terribly wrong now.>>
-------------------------
<<BEFORE Alison could Answer, THERE stood Morgan....the apparent changes were obvious....Morgan looked upon Haleigh , Alexis and Erika with a predatory stare....but also a demonic smirk.>>
<< in an icy voice>>: I'm here now.....can we get this over with? I've got places to go, and PEOPLE TO KILL
<<Looking dead at Haleigh..it was obvious she was deadly serious, and if anyone attempted to try anything , she'd KILL them where they stood. Her reckless abandon was crystal clear now. She would have NO restraint, one way or the other. This would HELP in the battle against Kelly, for Morgan would have no qualms about rendering HER limb from limb.>>

:: Alexis began to stir.....moving her head, she fluttered her eyes open, noticing she was out cold on the hardwood floors. A bit confused, the meta human slowly pushed her body off the cold ground as the events prior to her being knocked out began to resurface in her mind. "Oooh..." Moaned Alexis as she slowly began to stand...looking to Haleigh, she shook her head. ::
"Sorry about that, Red....Fucking Kelly."
:: Alexis muttered. That damn witch...what the hell was her problem! Grunting, Alexis began to hear voices upstairs in the attic...where she WAS heading before Kelly manipulated her. Deciding it would be easier to bypass the next possibly attack from the bitch, Alexis waved her hand as BOTH herself and Haleigh's bodies transformed into pure energy in the form of lightning, and traveled through the housing's circuitry until they appeared in the attic along side of Alison, Erika, and Blaze. Shifting her eyes around what LOOKED like an attic, there was defiantly a massive battle up here...probably Alison and Kelly. Listening to Alison explain what had happened, Alexis' eye brows raised...great. Cameron was gone and so was the book. Sighing..suddenly the somber mood was killed by the new...and "improved" (figuratively speaking) Spellbinder. Studying the blonde, there was a definite change in the way the woman looked and held herself. Her icy violet eyes were darker..what seemed to be a shade of plumb. An evil sneer tugged on the sorceress' lips...what the hell had happened? Hearing what Spellbinder had said, Alexis eyes went wide with a bit of shock and confusion. Slowly glancing from the blonde to Haleigh, it was apparent she meant Red....either that or she would enjoy killing Red if she had the opportunity to. Pressing her lips together, Alexis stayed quiet. Honestly, call her a coward...but she would much rather prefer Alison to deal with the new Spellbinder then say something wrong and end up a scorch mark on the wall. This was the first time Alexis would actually hold her tongue in a situation...and for very good reason. ::

::Guardian quickly turned her back on Erika and folded her arms...walking toward a window and looking out at the night sky and the stormy ocean::
BAH! I dont CARE about Cameron, Erika. Since the night i SAVED him from the hordes of MysTech at that Bar he was ambushed at..he's been NOTHING but an ungreatful, disrespectful WRETCH to me and Morgan. I don't need him..neither does she.
::turning sideways and turning her head to look over at Erika....with a look of pure contempt on her face as she shifted her body stance::
ALL OF THIS that we have endured is because of HIM. HE let her into Illustra, he convinced half the team that she was no "threat" or "risk"....he assured them that his "telepathy" had checked her out. Any MORON knows that you cant scan a mystic with PSI powers because most mystics have a PSI SCREEN. If they had just GIVEN her to Morgan, Delilah and Myself when we confronted them, NONE of this would have happend.
:: she turned and was now fully facing Erika from a cross the room as she gestured with annoyance::
I fought her Erika. She's fast thinking, I'll give her that much, but look how long it took her to FINALLY show herself. She's been using cloak and dagger tactics this entire time. She had to throw off Morgan right in the beginning or she NEVER wouldve survived to this point, she used her maternal bloodline with ME to side step my foresight just long enough to accomplish her immediate goals...and now she has Cameron...the WEAKEST of her children...AND of the Six. It's NOT worth the lives of these people ::gesturing at Alexis, Haleigh and Delilah:: to rescue HIM. Let's just KILL HER and be done with it!
:: Before she could continue....Morgan BLASTED into view. She was changed....."younger" looking. The longer hair, the more intense purple eyes, it was uncanny. But she was now far more evil, erotic, dark, and wicked.....she carried herself with a reckless abandon that was surprising even to Alison. She heard Morgan speak in that icy tone...and knew IMMEDIATELY that she was no longer the woman they knew.::

::Alison's voice was calm, steady and she was concentrating on Morgan as she spoke::

I KNOW what we are here for Guardian dear. Don't worry. I wont splatter the floor with Black Widow's blood until AFTER we rid the world of the pestilence that is Kelly King. That little SPRITE doesnt know what mystical might IS. I'll give her a true taste....when i RAM IT DOWN HER THROAT

<<it was hard NOT to notice Spellbinder's shocking, flesh bearing costume....it was dark, erotic and chaotic...it suited her new presentation...but it was a bit much...even for her, a woman who often flaunted her body with figure flattering outfits and the highest of hemlines>>

< Erika watched as Spellbinder appeared before the group in a manner that almost screamed out that she was no longer the normal tempermental woman but slightly darker and more demonic. Erika could pick it up with her Magickal Senses. She had always been able to sense evil and while she sensed darkness around Morgan before but now it was just evil. It was the same feeling that she got when she was around her mother and she knew that Alison could sense it as well. Morgan was acting much like Kelly had been in their fight a few moments earlier. She didn't like any of this. Something had to be done to divert the situation for a fleeting moment. Especially now that Morgan had seemingly given into Darkness. >
"Well Morgan. Nice of you to return. You seem.. refreshed..." <turns to Alison>
"Alison! This has got to stop. You blame your brother for things that everyone is very much at fault for. She slipped past of all of our fingers. I won't remind you that is was only I who found the signals from Tinkerbell and followed my own instincts while the REST of you were too involved with your own melodramas to even realize what was going on. This happened because Kelly banked on the frail structure of this team, not because of our BROTHER, Alison."
< She was sure that Morgan would have something to say but it was Erika's true belief that although Morgan had succumbed to evil she would not attack the one person who radiated of light. Spellbinder may have been demonic but she was no fool. Erika continued. >
"When will you all stop denying your birth rites?! You were destined to become the Six. This isn't some cosmic mistake. You are at your strongest when you are together. Proof of that is the Citadle. Alison, Haleigh and Cameron worked FLAWLESSLY together and even Cameron HELPED Morgan escape her crystaline form. Without each and every one of you there that night, you all would have died. That was the prophecy. That is why they wanted to stop Alison and Cameron from ever growing up. Mystech is running scared. You have the upper hand and if break up, they will claim each and every one of you... Demonic or not..."
< As Morgan stepped to the forefront she noticed that her shadows resembled somewhat of the composure of a shadow demon with the swirling and the tentacles. She had indeed succumbed to evil. It pained Erika because she really thought in her heart of hearts that she would be able to ward it off for awhile. However at this moment, she was going too far. >
"Morgan. We are here because when you all were at Illustra you almost blew up the entire building due to the lack of self control that is within this group. Although it may not seem so.. this place is a Safe Haven. I have the upper hand here. Black Magick against Black Magick may be a formidable battle but in my experience it is always white magick that prevails. That is something that none of you standing here know about. Without my knowledge and us sticking together, we are doomed as I am sure Alison will tell you herself. That would explain why she is still here. She knows how it will go down..."

<< Spellbinder looked at Erika....and walked up to her...right up to her....and looked down at her. The contours of Morgan's face were accented by shadow..making her look haunting and evil as she glared at Erika>>
Listen here, woman. YOU do not run THIS show << she said this as the slapped her own chest...as she was referring to herself>>. YOU are the one who does not comprehend the POWER in this room. It is YOU who do not understand ANYTHING! and in regards to "white magick"..you've been PREACHING since you arrived in your cloud of orbs. GIVE IT UP!
Just FIND your mother so we can erradicate her!
<<thunder rumbled in the air...as the temperature seemed to climb gradually. Spellbinder tossed her hair and immediately pushed past Erika and strode out of the room, her long cape with its shredded, frayed edges seemed to flow with the shadows as she tromped out of the room in her high heeled boots.>>

::Guardian put her hand to her forhead and her face contorted with what seemed to be stress as she closed her eyes tightly. Morgan basically drew a line to Erika...and Guardian hoped for ERIKA'S sake that she wouldnt cross it. Home court advantage or not, Spellbinder was the magickal equivalent of an atom bomb and whether she detonated NOW or LATER ON back in NYC as Guardian had foreseen would depend on the actions of the people in this attic::
Erika....do you have to try to take everyone to task about "white magick"? and why would you even attempt to dress HER down ::gesturing at the spot where Morgan was:: DO YOU WANT US ALL TO GET KILLED TONIGHT!?
::Guardian walked over to the center of the room herself::
We are in between a rock and hard place now. Kelly King is out there and Spellbinder is in here. WE have an advantage, Erika..and you need to realize that this trite, cliched notion of "Good always over coming evil" ISNT Gospel! If that were the case, then MysTech would not be as globally dominant as it is now. We have to get down and dirty with this hag and make sure she knows that WE mean business.
SHE cannot overcome the power of THIS
::she brings forth the Siege Perilous::
We can break her, humiliate her and ensure she's totally expunged from the cosmos with this gem. You need to stop lamenting things that didnt go the way you wanted...and START being proactive. You keep harping about "home court advantage"....so START USING IT. We dont have the Scrying Glass which would be the perfect method of finding Kelly, and where she is right now, I can't "see" with my precognition, BUT the bloodline that allows her to sometimes evade my powers as a Seer can be used to trace HER as well. it works BOTH WAYS..thats obvious logic.
::she pointed to the floor a few paces over::
one of my lightning strikes grazed her arm. we need to check for blood or skin cells left behind, any hair ...anything. as you saw in my scrying pool, the battle between us was fierce and we dealt some blows to each other. For once Erika...BEAT Kelly to the punch and FIND HER so that we can go rescue your Brother and take her at HER measure.
::Alison was weary of Erika's rose colored view of everything. Sometimes you had to take your enemy at his/her measure in order to stop them. Even ORORO knew that. For all the advantages that Erika claimed to have, she had been so easily ensnared by Kelly's magick in her own house at this first pass....and now they had the chance to be PROACTIVE. Alison waited..standing on her stilletto heels with her arms folded and her shoulders squared::

** While Erika and Alison discussed the pro's and con's of saving Cameron, her own mind drifted to her sister. All this talk of family appealed to Foxfire, who remembered the predatory look in Morgan's eyes outside of Erika's place. She secretly hoped her sister fought the temptation, not just for her sake but for everyone. However, it was at this time that Spellbinder blasted into the scene! **
** Raising her arm across her face to protect herself at the howling thrashing winds. Her hair twisting around violently until they calmed at the presence of Morgan. Blaze gasped at Spellbinder's new costume, it was savage, unholy, and powerful all in one. She pondered about jesting on it but the look and seriousness of Morgan clued Blaze to forget about it. She nodded to Morgan respectfully. In a strange psychotic way, Blaze admired her sister's new formal status of this situation. Even Alexis seemed to close her mouth at the sight of Morgan. Blaze brightly smiled, she couldn't believe this. **
"Good evening Morgan."
** Came the reply from Blaze who could sense the chilling blood thirsty aura from Morgan, including seeing it. As Erika spoke on the usage of "white magick", Blaze rolled her eyes. This woman was annoying her, even to Blaze! She was very peachy, very anti - violence. Foxy was thankful to have Morgan, no matter what her alignment. The truth was, they needed her! After all, it was Alison who battled Kelly while Erika's was helpless in her own house. It was a comical situation, but Blaze noticed her sister's more refreshed appearance, her shadow intertwining as she walked, her costume, and her EYES. **
"Welcome back."
** Blaze did the unthinkable once she received Morgan's attention! She gracefully got on one of her knees before the second, bowing to Spellbinder. It was a form of respect to her, Blaze wanted Morgan to know she supported her sister, even if she was evil. Getting to her feet, she was oddly quiet. She couldn't comment on the contrasts between white and dark magick, it wasn't her power. Foxfire wanted to survive tonight and for the rest of her life. She wasn't foolish like the others in the room. Blaze didn't bother to glance at Haleigh, who Morgan fiercely glared at her comrade. She was done with intervening on the battles between all of them. It was either save her own ass or work with them. If her teammates couldn't work together, then it was their own pig headed self. **
"Cameron has been a major downfall to this team! I'm growing SICK of everyone coddling him like an infant! If he would have just shut up and let WOMEN take control, it wouldn't be such a fucked up mess as it is now. I know most of us are to blame, including myself for allowing Kelly to fool me. But IF we do bring Cameron back, will he change? I'm growing irritated with his alpha male attitude towards us and I won't have it! I stand with Guardian on this matter, what good does he bring to us but chaos! He is the weakest link."
** Blaze had enough on the matter and even Erika was pissing her off. She was fighting Cameron's battles for him, it was disgusting. **
"We have to play not like the Six, but a different perspective as Alison commented and Morgan. We can't have...a conscious. And if I have to do that, then I will!"

Alexis fell to the floor, knocked out.... Hales rarely used nonlethal force... in fact... she hadnt used it for 5 years... not since she started CI. Oh sure... she'd ordered nonlethal force on quite a few operations... but she herself used lethal ammunition... so for her to use it now... was extremely out of character. She sat up, waiting a few seconds before climbing to her feet, then dragging Alexis out of the middle of the hall. Haleigh could hear Alison and Kelly going at it... but she couldnt leave Alexis there in the hall, nor could she take Alexis into the fight... so she waited. Blaze came towards them, and Haleigh leaned against the wall, her arms folded across her chest. She looked down at Shockwave and then back up at Blaze as she spoke quietly.
"Kelly King is what happened here.... Alexis freaked out and started attacking me.... she called me Adam. I knew something was askew... so i tranq'ed her."
Haleigh watched Blaze leave, then knelt down at Shockwave's side to help her up. She didnt seem upset that her teammate had just tried to kill her... and she asked herself why... but couldnt explain. Something was shifting in her... but she didnt know what or why... and no matter HOW she tried to keep focused... she couldnt ignore the terrible uneasy feeling that seemed to amplify... even as she heard the cootion upstairs quiet. Something ELSE was wrong... she could feel it.
"Don't apologize... it happens to the best of us. Alexis.... your father is DEAD... he WILL stay that way."
Alexis took them to the attic, which looked like the warzone Haleigh knew it had been. She didnt bother asking Alison if she was okay... Haleigh knew the woman kept coming back like the plague and now would be no different. haleigh stood just a little taller once Morgan arrived... and she locked eyes and didnt let go. Christ, this woman was like Herpes... evertime Haleigh thought she thing might be coming back under control, there was a Morgan outbreak. She knew Morgan was threatening her... she simply didnt care.... Her face twisted into a slow, disturbingly happy grin.
"Yes.... welcome back."
She said politely... it didnt seem forced or sarcastic.... and she was quiet for a few seconds as Guardian, Morgan, and Blaze spoke in turn. Haleigh simply ignored Morgan's speak of splattering her blood. I see she is still dreaming. She thought, as she listened to Morgan. Blaze talked next... and Haleigh's browed furrowed with displeasure. It was bad enough for Alison and Morgan to have it out for Cameron... they didnt need Blaze's encouragement. Haleigh stepped forward, not happy with the way this was going. She addressed Alison first, her eyes bearing down on the woman... and then she looked at each of them in turn... It was easy to see Hlaeigh was used to addressing a group and giving direction.
"NO.... You're WRONG, Alison. Who are you to determine what MY life is worth... and if it is worth risking to save a TEAMMATE? That is MY CALL. [her gaze moving now] I Don't much CARE if any one of you think Cameorn weak or worthless... those are your respective opinions... to which you are each entitled. [Looking at Blaze]You can KEEP your conscience.... HOWEVER... I will NOT throw him to the wolves. His is a PART of this 'Six' and I will NOT desert a teammate. If it were ANY of you.... I would do the same.... If it were ME.... I would EXPECT the same. If we CANNOT protect each other then we are WORTHLESS as a team. Forgive him his trespass and his flaws for a minute... forget that you dont like him... that is our brother, our comrade, our business partner out there. Without him we are only five. WE will not leave him to his deranged mother."

:: Watching the events unfold, Alexis couldn't believe what she was seeing. Blaze...level-headed Blaze, was speaking about Cameron like he was a skid mark on a pair of brand new tighty whiteys. What the hell was going on with this group? One minute they're supportive of the members, the next they want to fillet them like a fish. The Six was too damn wishy washy, and it was pissing Alexis off. Rolling her eyes at Blaze's comment and the fact that she subjected herself to BOWING to Morgan, this was ridicules already. ::
"Right...let me get out my Nancy Drew decoder ring and shine that right up, Blaze."
:: Shaking her head, a look of disgust was on the face of the blonde. She didn't even consider The Six a team! They didn't act like one, they didn't support each other like one, they didn't do SHIT together. They bow down to a bully blonde bitch who went to the "darkside" and follow her every command JUST in-case she decides to decapitate them...or hang them upside down on a cross. Well fuck that. Alexis was sick of Erika's "holier then thou" attitude about the situation, she was tired of the constant bickering about who's in the King family and who isn't. And most of all, she was SICK AND TIRED of Morgan's bullshit act. Frankly, Alexis just wanted to get this night over with so she didn't have to deal or see this people again. She had her own problems and her own business to attend to, and the faster they killed that Psychopathic beanpole, Kelly, the better. But Alexis' thoughts of anger and annoyence towards the group soon subsided when Haleigh went on a rampage. Shit...well, anyone up for Fillet de Hales tonight? Pulling Haleigh's arm gently, away from Alison, she knew either Alison was going to blow up...Blaze was going to add onto Alison's rant, OR Morgan was going to step in. Hopefully, for Haleigh's safty, option number three won't play out. ::
"Haleigh...common."
:: Gently escorting her further away from Alison, she stood with the defiant redhead a bit isolated from the group. She did make a promise to her, and she intended to keep it....awaiting for the others to verbally or PHYSICALLY attack Hales, Alexis shifted her eyes from one person to another...studying them carefully and readying herself for an attack. ::

"Speak for yourself Haleigh!!"
** Blaze cut her off suddenly. Her words were direct and more forceful then her tranquil nature. Haleigh's infatuation with Cameron bothered Blaze, she found it ridiculous. The reason was love hindered a person's performance, she knew it well. Plus she was beginning to detest the group for the "we love Cameron" rally. **
"Everyone here knows you have an alliance with King But what they FAIL to see is your in love with him! Look at the way you second guess Cameron on the women he dates. Its not just one, but its ALL of them. You're intimate feelings for him cloud your better judgment, even for you. Not only are they affecting your performance as a person but a member of this team! You've grown attached to him, more then you would like to admit. Deny it ALL you want Haleigh, but I sense your falling in love with him. Did you forget I can sense emotions, especially yours. You would happily jump off the bridge for the guy. And that's fine if you wanna die. But I don't and he brings us chaos! You're so whipped by his charm and good looks its DISGUSTING! I thought you would learn how to separate these feelings but you fail. And for this, I won't help you..."
** Blaze returned to her previous stance, any emotional clues to her face had disappeared. Instead it was replaced with a look of pure concentration. She spoke her peace or better blew up at it. A major flaw of Blaze, she would keep her feelings hidden until she no longer could control it. But hey, the truth is a bitch even for Haleigh. Blaze just openly tore down her comrade's facade, revealing her vulnerable feelings for Cameron. A subject that needed to be addressed. **
EDIT!!
"Shut your hole Alexis. We also know you spread just as easily for butter with ANY man. And do you want to know WHY?! I'll tell you, its because DADDY didn't supply the love and affection you so richly needed. So you went to other men and a LOT of them! Don't get smart with me or I'll make sure you'll regret it!"
** She quickly glared at the blonde before clenching her fists. Blaze was beginning to lose her control over her temper once more. She was seeing what Morgan warned her about. **

::Guardian snapped back at Black Widow, her voice definately reflecting her vehement disapproval::
I dont think you realize the scope of the situation, Black Widow. When this caper is over...if you thought that CAMERON was going to be in need of "rescue".....THAT will PALE in comparison to what is going to happen to the BOTH of you when we return to NYC. That isnt meant to be a threat...that is meant to try to clue you IN that YOUR OWN LIFE is in extreme danger and i can provide you with a VISUAL if you like.
We are wasting PRECIOUS time. Erika, was ensnared in her own house by Kelly, and so ONCE AGAIN I had to stand against Kelly. I was glad to do it, and i would to it again but in CAMERON'S case...I'll make an exception. He has prooved more than once that he would see ME, MORGAN, ALEXIS and even BLAZE suffer in the worst way if he had it his way. If YOU want to waste time rescuing him, be my guest, but i believe that Foxfire, Spellbinder, MorningStar and myself can see what the PRIORITY is.
::turning to Erika::
and i dont want to hear another word about "what we dont know or see...and how powerful Kelly is". We MORE than make up the odds with Spellbinder along with myself AND YOU, plus two energy manipulators and a fire elemental.
We need to GET RID OF Kelly and get back to Illustra so that we can contact ORORO before we and all of NYC are consumed by the coming Inferno!
You people talk about me putting myself before everyone? well right now im trying to tell you that there's something coming that will make ALL OF THIS here look like a day at the beach. We need to stop meandering and start STOMPING.

Hales let Alexis pull her to the side, but then gently pulled her arm from alexis' grasp, shaking her head, then turning to face the group again and standing her ground.
"No. I'm putting my foot down right now.... they've been taking Cameron through the gears all night. It's NOT his fault his mother has returned... and she duped us ALL in the beginning. Cameron helped to save ALL our lives in the Citadle... and now it is time to reciprocate. Its not too much to ask we treat him as the human being he is. I'm a lot of terrible things... but I'm not nor ever will i be a TRAITOR...."
Hales looked at Blaze... she could hardly believe her ears... and as soon as she did... she narrowed her eyes, which were flashing with anger. Of all the people to turn on her... Blaze had to jump on the wagon. She toyed with the idea of punching Blaze right in the face for what she was saying... but figured it wasnt the best idea.
"I DONT want to FIGHT with you Ace. You're wrongly accusing me because you're manufacturing my feelings FOR me... AND you're getting jealous about these SUPPOSED feelings... its wearing on my patience... but Alison isnt lying... time is in short supply."
It was easy enough to flat out deny Blaze verbally... but her words sparked a train of thought that only got worse.... what if what she was saying was TRUE? Hales pushed it away, reasoning that she would know if it were... but deep down... she wasnt so sure. She flat out IGNORED Alison and her warning... though she heard it... she paid no heed. She hadn't the patience or self control to continue to interact with that woman... Cameron's very SISTER... the fact that Alison refused to act like a sister SHOULD infuriated and disgusted Haleigh...who was growing weary of the 'Cameron Hate Club' and its members.

"Treat him like a human being?"
::Guardian guffawed at the idiocy of such a statement::
you mean the way he treated myself, Morgan or even Alexis? Truly your devotion to this man betrays something MORE than mere "friendship" but that would go against everything thing you would have us believe about now wouldnt it Black Widow?
YOU ARE a Traitor....from the moment you crossed path's with Morgan, you used the information you had on Blaze as a means to manipulate Morgan to try to further your own organization. You never cared about the safety of Blaze, OR the city. Later on, you conspired with Cameron to ambush/confront Morgan when she failed to show up from the press junket because she was helping ME in Limbo. YOU NEVER have cared about this team...your every word and move is a fasade, masking your true intent and feeling. But i wont expose you for the fraud you are now...Ill let the person who is MEANT to do that enjoy it for HERSELF.
::That LAST statement by Guardian was shockingly cryptic....WHO was she talking about? She knew something was up and that Haleigh would soon be EXPOSED on all fronts....but all of this was still YET to come::
just like a lamb before the slaughter, Black Widow your foolish pride will light your path to a painfull...if not fatal fall.
Don't be angry with me ....though it is the only comfort you have in the face of such painfull truth. It is not MY fault that you have placed yourself in the path of destruction.
::Alison shook her head::
Blaze, I need you and Delilah shortly. Meet me outside of the house. the air in here has grown stale with rampant stupidity.
::Guardian trompted out of the room on her heels...and down the stairs to find Morgan outside::
::she saw further ahead than the others...she knew what all was coming. it didnt MATTER to her that she didnt "act like a sister" to cameron. HE certainly wouldnt have cared about HER if it had been reversed. Haleigh had no right to speak on that matter.....for she had not been there all those years ago when Alison stood in the gap for Cameron and Erika. BUT EITHER WAY.. none of it mattered to her. She just wanted to get rid of what she considered to be an "embarrasing nuisance" [Kelly King and Cameron King] and concentrate on other looming disasters on the horizon. She was ignoring the toll this was taking on her secretly.....relying on her "marble" heard heart to pull her through once more::

** Blaze laughed at Haleigh's comments, boy was she ever delusional or what? Shaking her head, Blaze folded her arms across her chest tightly. She saw the spark of anger in Haleigh's eyes and she even could sense the rise in agitation. Cocking her head to the side, Blaze pushed her lips together striking back a lethal comment. **
"Jealous of what Haleigh? Jealous that I'm a walking and talking robot who has more testosterone then most of the males in this country? Jealous that I hide behind walls because I refuse to let anyone in? Jealous that your becoming the second weakest member of the team? Well, if you insist senorita, sure, sign me up!"
** She spoke quickly yet clearly. Blaze was going to fire that statement back and if sweet Suzy Erika intervened, she would pay dearly as well. **
"Honestly Black Widow, your codename isn't fitting you right now. Face it, your a silly, love sick puppet for Prophet. And he's even pulled Alexis into his web of discord. You two are too easily manipulated and for good reason, look at the life you both lived. I wanna live, I've said it already but what I DON'T like is this victim of Cupid's arrow you have become."
** Pausing to glance over to Guardian, she nodded at the Seer. Looking up at Morningstar, "guess that's our cue." She spun to the side, quickly following Guardian out. She knew this reprieve would be good, temper's were flaring for all of them. Plus she could hear the importance from it. **
"Alison."
** Walking up to Guardian, Blaze was more relaxed. Her tone with Alison was respectful and well manered, unlike her more brutal form with Haleigh. **
"What's up?"

::Guardian seemed rather pensive....shifting her weight from one high heel to the other...normally she was unmoved, unfettered by anything around her. a trademark of her stone cold exterior.::
::her voice was lower now as she spoke. there was a surprising HINT of "HUMAN" in her voice::
listen, the both of you. I have come to the conlusion that the integrity of this time has been permanently and irreversibly damaged. cleary MORGAN wasnt the source of the schism....but CAMERON. Notice how Haleigh has pledged an almost cult like allegiance to him. Alexis is a scared little girl playing at being a woman and more than once has been Cameron's prey, but SHE doesnt even see it. Its a pattern of behavior for her......and finally, their validation comes from Erika. SHE is his sister...i suppose logically she should be his advocate. But she's not facing reality.
::Alison exhales and closes her eyes as she looks up::
the fact of the matter is...this is all bothering me to no end. Morgan is too far gone to be of any help to in this matter..EXCEPT of course when it comes to fighting Kelly. She'll be more than up for that.
::confident that no one else was near except Delilah and Blaze....while Morgan was nearby...wrapped up in her own wicked gloating...Alison allowed a look of true concern to come across her face::
Look....from a tactical stand point, I just do not see us pulling through this with those three up in the attic. I think we need to contact Ororo..we need someone whose got wisdom and POWER, as well as someone who doesnt have a "pollyanna" approach to everything.
Normally, my precognition allows me to plan things perfectly, but to be honest......THIS SITUATION IS ONE I WOULD RATHER NOT BE APART OF!
::alison exclaimed with a sudden flash of exasperation::
I got away from this family for a REASON.....I wanted a life where i DIDNT have to protect two siblings for ever. I wanted a LIFE FREE to pursue my pleasure and my passion! SO WHAT if it seems selfish to those self righteous negatarts in that house...it was MY LIFE! i spent my childhood being a "foster mother" to them because their own mother was a raving lunatic...and now....decades later..im suppose to welcome them back with open arms!?

Haleigh rolled her pale blue eyes. The insufferable know-it-all just DIDNT know when to quit, did she? Alison was so adamant about shoving her visions down everyones throat... but Hales had already proved that she could CHANGE things... after all... Alison had been so SURE she and cameron would meet their demise in the Citadle.... but theyd defied that.... so Haleigh hardly gave this one any attention.
"Stop [i]talking to me. I've KNOWN since day one that I'd have to EVENTUALLY pay my penance for what ive done... that is the cosmic balance... and when that day comes... I'll DEAL with it. That is correct... and unlike YOU... I do not try to blame OTHERS for my actions OR for something that results."
Haleigh turned to Blaze.... she was taken aback... for Blaze's words burned, because Haleigh had befriended Blaze, and at the very least, respected her. Her anger seethed, coursing through her like a fire in her veins...she pulled away from Alexis and walked over to Blaze... she felt wronged... and she felt a fool for all the times she'd stuck her neck out for Blaze's sake. She wanted more than ever to hit Blaze.... and just ONE good one, and she could knock Blaze of her pivot and to the floor. Once more, with waning constraint, she refrained. She stopped just inches from Blaze with a heavy sigh, her soft, breathtaking blue eyes stormy with anger and a hint of pained sadness that had never been there before. Her voice, however, was firm and did not betray her.
"I do NOT want to fight with you, Fielding. I DO want to remind you though.... when it was YOUR ass on the line, and Cameron wanted to cut his losses and leave YOU to your fate... I alone stood for you... and I alone came for you. I will now do Cameron the same courtesy... and that makes me a BETTER 'team'mate than the three of you combined."
Haleigh let Balze brush past her to go off with Alison.... she brought her hands up to her face, rubbing her eyes and temples and then running them through her hair. She turned back to Erika with another heavy sigh.
"I can see my time with this 'team' is coming to a voilent end... but that must be dealt with when the time arrives. For now.... is there anything you can advise me or give me to help me break your mother's hold on Cameron?"

:: Alexis couldn't believe what Blaze had said to her. She didn't do a damn thing to the girl and she starts lashing out, bringing her past into it. Her ice blue eyes glared over into Blaze's. The rage and fury wasn't hard to miss. How DARE Blaze stand there and pass judgment on Alexis when SHE does the same exact thing to WOMAN. She fuck's em' and leaves em'. She even explained how she hates relationships and enjoys the sexual fun in one night stands. What a fucking hypocrite. Alexis wasn't about to let Blaze walk away after what she had said to her. Passing Haleigh, Alexis stormed out of the attic, heading downstairs. Seeing Blaze afar, she sped up her walking until finally, Alexis grabbed Blaze's arm, yanking her to a halt. ::
"How dare you, Blaze. I've been nothing but supportive of this so called "team" up until this very moment. And then you lash out on me?! You bring people's pasts into to the present and THROW it in their faces. DO YOU want to know why YOU do that?! Because you try you hardest to live up to your sister! You try to be like her! You do everything in your power to stay in her good graces, even if it means turning on your friends! You will NEVER be Morgan, Blaze! You won't even end up being HALF of what she is. You can keep on playing your little game, pretending you're all powerful and tough. An "individual". But you know, deep down inside, you're just a leach sucking off of her glory. Trying to be what you can't be. You want to play rough and dirty, Blaze? Then let's fucking play! Don't you DARE bring up my past and throw it in my face again. You have NO room to talk. YOU have no right!"
:: No one had ever seen a side of Alexis quite like this. She didn't tolerate her past being thrown in her face when she couldn't do a damn thing to change it. Blaze has stepped over her boundary and she would be damned to keep her mouth shut just because Blaze "threatened" her. Scared little girl my ass. She was done, through with this entire fucked up situation. Letting go of Blaze's arm, Alexis shook her head, not only speaking to Blaze, but to Alison as well. ::
"You don't find me an asset to the "team"? Fine. I don't have to be here. I didn't sign shit saying that I HAD to be apart of The Six. I supported this team because I believed in what it stood for. Helping bring MysTech down and ridding others of it's sadism. But after being LASHED at, having the fact that I slept with Cameron ONE time be thrown in my face, saying that i'm unsuitable to be here because I had a laps in judgment, only furthers my proof on how closed minded and insecure you all are. I'm done with it all. I'm done with all of you."
:: Glowing a dark shade of cobalt, Alexis' body turned into nothing more then energy, until finally, a crash of lightning struck where she stood and she disappeared. Alexis wasn't joking around. These people had only been in her life a little over 6 months, and she wasn't about to throw her life away and risk being killed by Kelly for ungrateful brats like Blaze, Alison, and Morgan. Alexis allowed them to see a side of her that she had not shown anyone. A softer side, a more caring side, and what happens? They throw it in her facing calling her a baby girl wanting and pretending to be a woman. They couldn't be more wrong. Alexis was a strong and intelligent woman, they all knew it, and they refused to accept it. Either way, she wasn't about to let them step all over her like an insignificant ant....Alexis was done with The Six. ::

:: Reappearing in her apartment in NYC, the blonde stormed into her room startling awake her Great Dane, Athena. Walking into her walk-in closet, she grabbed her suite case and threw it on the bed. ::
"We're leaving this fucking place and the residents living among us!"
:: Athena jumped off the bed a bit taken aback by how her master was acting. Sitting down on the ground, she looked up at Alexis...her ears pushed back showing she knew something was wrong. Alexis didn't even pay attention to her dog. She just continued walking in and out of her closet, throwing her clothing into the large suite case. She was getting the hell out of there tonight and leaving this shitty chapter of her life behind. ::

"I agree with you Alison....it took me longer to realize this. I believe Cameron is out for himself, especially earlier when he planned to abandon me for his own safe purposes. And unlike the others on this wretched team, I do not forgive easily, nor is my trust gained back! I've watched my sister save his sorry ass dozens of times. Yet he has the nerve to be a pompous ass with her, even seducing Haleigh and Alexis with his charms. Although he could be controlling them telepathically. Haleigh I'm afraid I cannot help her....as much as it pains me, she's blinded by the light. I keep thinking about Morgan rather then Cameron, blood is thicker than water. And I know YOU are thinking of Morgan too Alison, she's like your sister too. I say the three of us find Kelly with the help of Morgan and the other goons can attempt to rescue Cameron. I'm sick of bending backwards for that arrogant, selfish guppy!"
** Sighing heavily, Blaze caught a glimpse of Alison's more compassionate nature. A fact she knew all along. Despite her "marble" heart, Blaze could sense the warmth that radiated from Guardian. Unlike the other's, Foxfire wasn't mislead so easily. Drawing her sage green eyes to the ground, she pondered the idea of contacting Ororo. It definitely sounded like a great idea. **
"That's a great idea Alison, we could use her guidance and wisdom in times of danger and darkness. We all could use her, she's a good source of strength for us along with pure motivation."
** Biting down on her lower lip, a habit Blaze tended to do occasionally. She whole heartedly listened to Alison's own concerns with her explanation for leaving the King family behind. She placed herself in Alison's shoes for a moment, and she probably would have done the same. **
"Don't be regretful Alison, you did the right thing for your own happiness. The other's can point fingers and argue to the brink of dawn. You just couldn't stop living for them, its not who you are....who you've become. You shouldn't have to protect any of them, they are fully grown adults now. This isn't the past, and your not there mother. The both of them are so quick to be aggressive or hostile when they fail to see the bigger picture, Kelly. Cameron always has to be correct and Erika should win the Noble Peace Prize for world peace. Both are irritating in their own way. If they would stop smelling the "roses" then we would make progress. Erika is knowledgeable but her repetitious patterns of explaining how white magick is greater makes me wanna hurl. I'm sure she is powerful but when we're dealing with a manic such as Kelly, there can be no other way than force and brutal tactics. She was even out powered on her own turf. Don't worry about them Alison, they haven't done anything for you except preach or lash out in rude obnoxious comments. Myself, Morgan, and Delilah are grateful for your insight and knowledge. Let us return to Illustra to search our resources, including Ororo. I seem to think more clearly away from those three."
EDITING -- Again, LOL! Sorry
** Blaze was roughly jerked to the side by an unknown source. Turning her daggers onto the sudden intrusion to her arm, it was Alexis! Blaze listened to the energy manipulator, without even bothering to cut her off. She pressed the right button on Shockwave. **

Because I have greater concerns then checking the label on some piece of clothing."
** Listening to Alexis further, Blaze kept her composure solidly. But she did watch Alexis confirm her desires to leave. **
"That's right Alexis, LEAVE! Its what your good at when you can't hack it. Something scares or intimates you, you throw in your last word, and then leave! You're so easily to read its PATHETIC! Incredibly insecure and now a coward. I give Haleigh for at least staying put, maybe you should learn from her example. But wait....your good at running away from your past and now your present. <<Spellbinder was actually distracted momentarily Shockwave's outburst....seeing her gripping Blaze's arm, she took aim at Shockwave, about to unleash a massive eldritch bolt....but just as quickly as she stormed into view to apparently retort whatever Blaze had said to her, she was gone before Morgan could fire upon her>>
<< spellbinder drew close to Blaze, Alison and Delilah>>
<<in an icy voice>>: Blaze, to hell with that runaway flashbulb. You did the right think calling her out. she's a waste of space. THEY ALL ARE!
<< she put her hand on Blaze's shoulder.>>
Don't let anybody here tell you what to do our how to be. You just...follow your heart...like you've always done. Don't worry....we'll be done with this meaningless nonsense soon enough...
<<Spellbinder seemed to be comforting her sister...but at the same time, she was looking ahead to what she had instore for her most hated enemies. but for now, she was just enjoying her new found sense of freedom, her rush of dark urges and power...she was NOTHING like Kelly....she said it herself before...."in limbo she was special, POWERFUL" ..and now..the fools on EARTH would learn that....that HARD way>>
<<sigh>> Erika will probably come down here...and try getting hard with us. Just let the stupid child say what she wants. We'll use her to get to Kelly...and then we'll KILL THEM ALL!
<< Spellbinder's ultimate goal in any scenario now was the wanton murder and destruction of anyone she deemed unworthy to exist in the same air as her. It didnt mean that Blaze, Alison and Delilah were on the ame page as Morgan in that regard. Never the less. Morgan was clearly ready to lay waste to anyone...INCLUDING someone that would attempt to harm her sister>>

Morgan....can you...watch over us?...we ALL need some sleep. EVEN those wretches upstaris. Everyone is tired...and we need to rest ourselves.
I dont care what Erika says...she doesnt control this team...and as far as I'm concerned, when we dispatch Kelly, we have to get back to NYC as quickly as possible. if Prophet, Shockwave, and Black widow dont want to come...then we leave them behind.
But right now... we ALL need to calm down. This family.........MY family ::she said it with such disdain:: has erroded us all. you can see now why i was so eager to leave. but that is not the point....we're all tired, and in dire need of rest.

:: Blaze's words didn't even phase Alexis. She could think whatever the hell she wanted to think. Alexis was through with Blaze on so many levels at this point. Sighing, she sat down on the edge of her bed...her bag was half packed and everything in her room was a mess. Closing her eyes, Alexis was very much aware that she was in danger being alone with Kelly on the loose...but she honestly didn't care. Pulling herself further onto her bed, she laid herself down next to her suite case and closed her eyes once more. Oh and while your away, drink up some, hell drink your whole life away. Because that's all your ever going to be a raging alcoholic, a NOTHING.....Those words echoed in the meta-human's mind. GOD how she hated that Blaze had actually said something to her that was eating her up inside...Opening her eyes, the room was still and quiet. Athena had taken a spot on the floor near Alexis, but didn't dare to come near her. Parting her lips with her tongue, this night was defiantly climbing up on the "top ten horrible nights" list in her book. "You're just dead weight, Alexis. Nothing but an an addict in need of attention.. Images of standing in front of her Aunt Helena as she basically ripped Alexis a new asshole...those very words spoken by her family member....It not only annoyed the meta human that Blaze's last statement dug into her like a rusty knife, but it only proved further how she was a fake and phony bitch, trying to come off as as level-headed woman. When in fact she was nothing more then a puppy following her master, Morgan. Pressing her lips together...after a few moments of silence she pushed herself off the bed once more, heading for the master bathroom. Deciding it would be better to "cool" herself down after the heated fight she just had, Alexis slipped out of her clothing and climbed into the shower trying desperately to relax. ::
-------
:: After about a half hour, the sound of streaming water had subsided. Stepping out of the tub, she wrapped a towel around her wet petite frame and headed back into her bedroom....Walking up to her mirror, her dry blonde locks were pulled back in a messy French twist with only a few pieces wet from the shower. Looking at herself in the mirror, the meta human had finally calmed down...what a wonder a shower can be. Pulling open one of her drawers, she took out some under garments and headed into her walk-in closet to grab some clothing that she had yet to pack. After about ten minutes, Alexis emerged from her closet once again fully dressed (http://www.ctheron.com/gallery/albums/Films/italianjob/stills/ItalianJob-Cover_001.jpg). Reaching behind her head, she undid the clip that was holding her hair up and gently shook her head until her golden hair cascaded down her shoulders and back. Grabbing her dark blue jean jacket (seen in the picture), Alexis slipped it on before making her way to the French doors that opened to her bedroom's balcony. Gently pushing down on the door handles, the moment the glass doors opened, winds came bellowing into her room, blowing her hair back behind her. Closing her eyes for a few seconds, the wind felt pure...untainted. It was beautiful at this time on night. Stepping onto her patio, she soon slipped into a wicker rocking chair before crossing her legs and sitting back. Her blue eyes scanned the view of New York City...it was amazing. The lights, the massive buildings. Gently pushing the heal of her boot against the ground, the meta human began to rock...taking in the scenery before she left for Wyndemere. ::

<<another strenuous night....with only the SMALLEST reprieve The Six and their allies both on the ocean front AND back in NYC try to rest themselves and prepare for a most harrowing campaing>>
<<Alison continues to show no heart or love to her family as she tries to urge everyone to see the goal of destroying Kelly. Morgan has lost herself in the dark corruption of Limbo and her arcane heritage and while that will prove an offensive asset in the battle against Kelly....the LONG TERM effects could far outweigh the short term benefits. Haleigh, now starting to realize that her own "end" is looming large on the horizon, has begun to show a surprisingly yet only SLIGHTLY softer side to her personality.....while Blaze has begun to see what Morgan tried to warn her of several days ago about various members of the Six. Alexis struggles to maintain and hold it together.....far from the weakest, yet just as far from focused, she must overcome her own extreme reactions in order to truly add to the strength of the team in this time of test and trials. and finally Prophet....whose exact where abouts are not yet known....he is at the mercy of his mother....and just what awful deeds she will compell him to do while under her power remain to be seen this long and treacherous night.>>
<< many of the group have grown tired of Erika...and long for a more decisive direction....but ultimately ALL have become weary...and so they now rest. With Morgan watching over them all....they rest their bodies and minds....as they prepare for the final round with Kelly King.>>
