Corporate maleficence and gov't complicity? What do YOU make of this?

Bayer (the people make the asprin) apparently did a VERY bad thing and the U.S. Government is doing nothing about it!? This is MY first time hearing about this (after someone at work was overheard discussing it, i went and looked it up online).

Your thoughts on this?

It sounds MONSTROUS to me and it really slaps people who say "trust your government" rather than thank for yourself.

You will find that China killed thousands of babies and small kids like my son with contaminated milk that gave them kidney stones o bad it KILLED them.

Nigeria lost thousands of babies to ethylene glycol poisoning because someone was too stupid to use PROPYLENE glycol, which is non-toxic.

Th VA in this country used poorly-screened Hepatitis C-tainted blood in transfusions for THOUSANDS of veterans for years. I know 2 personally, one of which has died of hepatitis C. The other is my Father.

I'm not surprised. I'm not usually like this (lol) but I won't use Bayer because they developed their product by testing on people in the concentration camps during WWII.

I've never actually used Bayer, but i'm definitely not going to use it now. And Vil, I didn't know that they developed it by testing it on people in concentration camps. That's really interesting...horrible, but interesting.

I find it disturbing the officials in other countries are going to jail for this but the US isn't doing a thing over it. What the HELL! where is the news outrage over this, you would thing this would be over the news and every paper for months.

for me its both disgusting and yet not surprising.

it just shows how really useless our gov't is when it comes to things that really matter. them doing something about THIS would be a prime example of JUSTICE but yet inspite of it being out there for ALL to see, nothing will be done about it.

I never used Bayer anyway, I always preferred Aleve, but now i'm going to tell everyone I know not to use Bayer either.
