I think this looks pretty darn fun. Apparently USA Today (http://blog.newsarama.com/2009/06/15/wednesday-comics-feature-to-be-picked-up-by-usa-today/) will be running the Superman strip online throughout its run, very cool. Anyone gonna check this series out?

Wednesday Comics is a weekly anthology comic book being launched by DC Comics
in the Summer of 2009. The title will be published in 14" x 20" broadsheet format[1],
deliberately similar to Sunday newspaper comics sections. Neil Gaiman,
Mike Allred, and Kyle Baker have been announced as contributors.

Spearheaded by DCU Editorial Art Director, Mark Chiarello, creators were approached
and asked to develop stories for the characters they would most like to write.
Each installment may either be a serialized story or done-in-ones.

Each issue is 16 pages and each story takes up one full page when folded out.

Anyone? I managed to snag the last issue left at my shop. Haven't read it yet, but just opening it up, glancing at it...it looks awesome. Huge. And it's real newsprint. All comics should be printed on newsprint as far as I'm concerned. Hate the slick stuff.
