We'll make this FAIR and say its the "martial artist/telekinetic" Psylocke...as we all know the former "major league telepath" Psylocke would take him down with ease from a distance.

Psylocke, as she appears now is one hell of a hand to hand fighter. Trained by the Hand to succeed where Elektra failed and later trained by Wolverine. She was given between a 5 and 6 on a 7 point scale in many marvel rankings, cards, bios etc for her fighting skill. Her agility is also fierce.

Her telekinetic power is on a scale that surpasses Jean and Rachel and rivals Madelynne Pryor but the catch is that while she has the POWER, she doesnt have the finesse. She CAN however manifest her telekinetic katanna and use it to short circuit a person's brain, much like she did with her "psychic knife"....rending them inert AND she can use her telekinetic power to fly, augment her physical strength to lethal force and provide further body protection.

I think everyone is well aware of Spider man's abilities: speed, super strength, agility.

It seems to me over the years since her major overhaul that Psylocke has prooven herself to be a vicious fighter. She's taken down Wolverine face to face at least 3 times definatively and since WOLVERINE is considered the benchmark for most in MU's fighting gallery, i think that gives her a more than FAIR SHOT at fighting the wall crawler.

Spidey 7 of 10.

His spider-sense and agility combined with his overpowering strength would make this VERY tough for Psylocke. He is also extremely experienced with different fighting styles and extremely resilient. I favor him strongly here.

But Psylocke could telekinetically BLOCK his hits (as she's done when fighting wolverine or most recently her own brother who is WAY stronger than Spider man). She's not subject to the same "mental feedback" that plagues someone like Invisible Woman when her force fields are struck by powerfull blows. and its been said that her telekinetic power can allow her to shatter/tear stone and concrete with her physical blows.

She could also engage him in the air, as she can fly and all she needs is one strike to his head and it's over.

It's a pity that she doesnt still have her teleporting power.

I think more it'd be more a DRAW than tipping in Spidey's favor.

It would depend on whether or not he could disorient her first and so far her reflexes have been shown to be pretty damn quick.

Powers-wise on paper, she is a good match. But he has faced people like her and more, she has never encountered his type. Wolverine is not Spiderman, not close. Spidey is WAAAY faster and stronger (25+ tons) and has vastly more experience than she does. That gives him the edge for me, that and his extraordinary intelligence.

I am a Psyclocke fan, but Spidey is the one you pick on then wish you hadn't.

well...<< pouts>> i substitute martial artist/telekinetic psylocke for classic telepathic psylocke!

Storm: Psylocke! strike him down with a single telepathic blow!

Psylocke: << closes eyes, manifests psi butterfly effect>> my pleasure, Storm! << FRIES Spidey's brains but good!>>

:D

THERE! LOL!

oh and btw, i just read the write up on Psylocke, punch for punch she can use her TK to augment her physical power to MATCH or OUT POWER foes as strong ROGUE or a danger room simulation of Sabretooth even! Both of those characters outclass spiderman in terms of strength.
