Beyonce performs her chart topper, "Single Ladies" at the 36th annual American Music Awards (it seems like they are coming earlier than they used to).

LOL @ 'TOLD Y'ALL we can dance!'
I'm not a huge fan of Beyone either, but the performance was good. [eventhough i'm getting tired of the dance routine]

That white girl was moving her ass, right?! I will say that in my experience that the ladies typically CAN dance, but the fellas?! Here and there maybe, but usually not good.
Overall that was the shiznit!! Beyonce is all that, just get over it Farrah. You don't have to sleep with A-Rod to be a great pop entertainer, lol.
(waits for Farrah to go off...LMAO!!!)

um MADONNA was already GREAT...the QUEEN when BeYAWNce was still in grade school so A-rod isnt a factor. If anything, HIS q-rating jumped behind the "alleged" affair with Maddy.
Sit it down, Garrick. Beyonce isnt even comparble to Diana Ross (whom she played in Dream Girls)

She ain't far off...from ANY of them. She is a true star, and her bootyliciousness (WHAT?!) is getting it done year after year. Meanwhile, Madonna makes more headline nowadays for things NOT having to do with music than with her music itself, although it is still not bad.
(Having fun prodding Farrah, knowing that she will soon me on blast...)

Madonna set the stage for Beyonce', the article YOU posted bears that out ;) She has her highlights (namely her ass) but as far as divas or "one named" Divas (Janet, Madonna, Cher etc) she's no Diana Ross OR Madonna by any stretch. She doesnt command sold out concerts (which , in Madonna's case usually sell out in MINUTES of going on sale).
when she gets to the point that she can do something like THIS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJ6sbXK0o1c then maybe we'll see.

I absolutely LOVE Beyonce and as many of you know I was a HUGE Destiny's Child Fan. What I respect about Beyonce is that she definitely takes alot of risks with her music. Her first solo CD was not what I expected it to be and I didn't like it all that much but her SECOND Solo CD "B-Day" was just awesome, a great mix of Urban Hip Hop music. She is a lot more raw as a Solo Act and the girl can dance like no OTHER.
This CD "I am...Sasha Fierce" is absolutely by FAR her best. She shows SO much range as an singer and each song is a lot different than the next. She mixes alot of awesome samples such as in the song "Ave Maria" does a rather heart wrenching remake of John Mcglauchlin's "Smash Into You" (it's so good!) And my personal favorite on the album.. "Halo"
I am telling you, if you haven't been a Beyonce fan, please get this CD, it might just change your mind...
Here is Halo, while I don't like the video, the man in it is absolutely deLICIOUS! and the Song is just GREAT!

And Here is Smash Into You:

I have to say I think I like the "I Am.." disc a little more than the "Sasha Fierce" disk.
