There are some interesting face offs here but some I think are definately one sided, like Artemis vs. Elektra. any thoughts? The face offs include (in no particular order)

Ms. Marvel vs. Super Girl

Rogue vs. Power Girl

Storm vs. Starfire (again)

Elektra vs. Artemis

Black Cat vs. Harley Quinn

Phoenix IV vs. Hawkgirl

Spider Girl vs. Wonder Girl

Black Widow vs. Bat Woman

Wasp vs. Cat Woman

Scarlet Witch vs. Green Lantern

Invisible Woman vs. Star Girl

Mystique vs. Huntress

White Queen vs. Saturn Girl

Mystique v Huntress vould be interesting, same with Scarlet Witch v Green Lantern. But isn't Scarlet Witch apparently dead? lol

Scarlet Witch is alive but (unless something recently has changed) she has no apparent powers anymore or any memory of what she did during Decimation/House of M.

I kind of think Mystique would mop the floor with Huntress but thats just at first glance for me.

Storm and Starfire have fought before in another Marvel vs. DC cross over.

Power Girl would destroy Rogue as Rogue appears now.

I find these matchups interesting because, in my opinion, Marvel is so very much more "powers" based than DC is. Like you said in Mystique vs Huntress - Mystique is superhuman, where Huntress is basically a chick in a costume. Can they really compete? I think that's what makes it a cool thing to see (assuming they don't just have the "superpowered" beings just kill off the other in the first 5 minutes lol).

I think that humans can. It can be argued that the greatest hero in each continuity is human. (Batman and Captain America).

Mystique wins over Huntress, but not by hand-to-hand defeat. She fools her. Huntress could really give her a go head up.

Starfire should take Storm. She is even more invulnerable than she is powerful, which is amazing...

Black Cat over Harley Quinn. Too good, that cat.

Invisible Woman beats Star Girl. Too much experience.

White Queen beats Saturn Girl.

Rogue loses to Power Girl, badly.

Elektra loses to Artemis, barely.

Scarlet Witch has about 10 seconds to remember. Otherwise, she is toast against GL.

And Phoenix v Hawkgirl...hard to say. I favor Phoenix...

I agree with most of the postings here except a few points.

Saturn Girl i think would be better in a psychic fight against Emma. Saturn Girl comes from a culture that is entirely telepathic and train from birth in how to use and live with their powers. In a fight i think that would give her a edge against her.

I rather see Lady Shiva take on Elektra. Shiva is currently to top rated martial artist in the DCU with Elektra sometimes holding the spot in the MU.

Wonder girl V Spider-girl is one of the best balanced fight here. Overwhelming power VS. Speed and agility.

I reasoned that Saturn Girl would have an edge mentally, but Emma Frost has much more than simply that power to bring to bear. I say she kicks her ass physically.

and when White Queen is in her diamond form, her mind is completely closed off. She and Sage have these psi screens they can use but the trade off is that they can't use their own mental powers.

I imagine that if White Queen went diamond on Saturn Girl...it'd be over. one punch and she's done lol!


as much as i lothe Jean Grey (Phoenix IV) I think even SHE could take down Hawk Girl.

Artemis is an Amazon, doomed to be forever known as 'the runner up' to Diana for the title of "Wonder Woman". The Amazons are long lived and a warrior race. Elektra is formidable and deadly but I can't see her defeating Artemis.

In these cross over/face=offs, i've seen many shocking "upsets"....one of them occured in Marvel's Contest of Champions II when Scarlet Witch HUMILIATED Cable of all people in combat. Now I would bet that the same thing happens in her fight with Green Lantern.

I notice that Wonder Woman was ABSENT from this group, as was Mary Marvel. I would rather see Ms. Marvel go against Mary Marvel myself.

They don't do em like THIS anymore. Dazzler and Rogue fought for YEARS spanning several comic titles. back then both Dazzler AND Rogue were tougher than they seem to be now.
