its very nice how the frenzy and paranoia are building up.....now with Spellbinder, Guardian (and soon Delilah) convinced that Cameron, Haleigh and Blaze have betrayed this team and the security of Illustra...and are now HELPING who they believe to be a decoy of MysTech(rachel).

Erika has a pivotal role right now..but i think she knows that she'll get further ahead with Spell and her crew.

I got like strangely really upset about it.. I even cried.. I felt like such a bitch lmao.. I was completely fine in public which I ALWAYS am when I am about to cry and then once my Grandfather dropped me off I unlocked the door and closed it and just started crying.. then I stopped and my grandma called and I started again then I stopped and my Mom called and then I cried again lol..

I have done a good amount of crying today.. but I guess it was a reality test for me.. I HATE when I don't get things that I want.. so Failing me is just the encouragement I need to fucking PASS it next time and run over the bitch who failed me lol.

Driver's tests aren't the easiest thing in the world Brandon. When I got my permit I was 18 going on 19. I was really SCARED to drive, lol, I was afraid I would run someone over. ;) :angel: I had my permit for about a good year until I took my driver's test, I passed the first time. I was soooo scared though especially the parking.

My older brother though failed two or three times. He was really frustrated and upset but he kept at it. For most folks its highly difficult the first time, either the course is too hard or the instructor applies too much pressure to the driver.

But don't beat yourself up over it. There's always next time as you said and you made a huge affort alone by taking the test. What I used to do to practice my parking, and it sounds ridiculous but it's not. I bought two big plastic garbage cans and set them apart like a car's distance. And then I would park between them. I did this until I got it right, which I had plenty of ugly events. ;) lol but try it and see if you feel any better, it couldn't hurt.

anyway, with computer acess at my grandparents hosue, and the workload slowing down a bit, I could start posting if you would like. but once friday rolls around, all my furniture is finally being delivered, so i might be busy for a couple more days unloading and getting things set up. so if you want, i can have alexis come back...it's up to you guys and how lenient you want to be with my posting.

everyone...PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE DETAILS OF A POST. You guys cannot leave Haleighs floor...ALL exits are SEALED by forcefields....not to mention the halls are nearly DEPLETED of oxygen and bitter cold. So please try to be more mindfull of details. The elevator shafts are now sealed off by 1 ft thick carbonium steel bulkheads....the defense systems are on RED ALERT on every floor beneath Haleigh's and the first floor's outer perimenter is now surrounded by an energy barrier.

also, we probably will see a slow down in activity over the next few days as Phoebe, Lexi and Sam are going to be mostly unavailable this weekend...so everyone just relax and take it easy....

Lexi, in regards to your AV request...is that the size you want? it looks a bit smaller than the size for The Six players.

Okay Guys I have a MOVE Update :) Okay so my new landlord told us that we can move in this weekend with no problem so here is what we are gonna do:

The day I pack up my computer I will post that we are on hiatus which should only last for about a few days once everything gets all set up and all that jazz. Then I will post that I have returned and we can continue on with the storyline :D

We don't have time to finish the storyline so we will just put it on break :) So post alot so we can get a LOT done before I move lol!

Thanks for the compiment on the AV ladies. I was looking for an image that was slightly "younger looking" but i couldnt find one of her looking "darker or more evil"...so i went with this one. If you read "the light that failed" thread, youll see why she has become "younger" looking. ;)

I must correct you on one thing, Prophet: MorningStar, Black Widow and Shockwave or NOT mutants. MorningStar and Shockwave are meta humans and Black Widow is now a techno organic hybrid.

So, we have on the CORE team: Two mystics, two mutants, two meta humans and one techno organic hybrid. (yes i KNOW that technically means "The Seven" but Guardian is STILL TECHNICALLY a "guest star" LOL)

I just needed to be clear on that because the character types will factor in to future storylines.

But to ADD to Prophet's request, I too had been informed of some glaring and unusual "changes" in some characters in this storyline. Changes that seemed to be out of place and not really suited to the situation. Everyone has submitted a bio which includes the character's nature, powers, abilities and such. Unless you left a clause in there for FURTHER development in the future...OR you have contacted ME via PM about changes you have in mind for your character[so that i can work that into whatever story we are playing] then we need to stick to the mold that we created for EACH of our characters.

Obviously creativity and insight is a good thing, and bringing out things that are logically and naturally associated with your character due to his/her nature shows that you truly grasp your character's concept BUT let's not go over the top and start adding things in that do not truly make sense with the present nature of the character. Marvel Comics has even done that in times past with several of their most popular characters and it was NEVER well received by the readers (i.e. Psylocke and her constant, switching/rearranging physical appearence and powers).

Farrah dear, I got your PM. ;) And I'll comment here since Brandon is addressing Foxfire more. Blaze is a mysterious character, one that NOT everyone can uncover including Spellbinder. I did not include her vampire/lycan history because I wanted this aspect to be more of a mystery. The WHY of this mutation is really tied to her second mutation, though I failed to mention it in my bio, I should have done so.


When I originally created Blaze, I wanted to have TWO mutations, a fire mutant and a transformer of somesort, kind of like Morph except she cannot change into people, she possesses certain animal qualities to both wolves and bats, thus vampire and lycan. The reason she is able to mix both is her blood...she has an infinity to these changes, which can enhance her senses plus her moods, etc.

Yes, Spell did execute her "embracer", however, I have yet to discuss her past in further detail. When I sent my bio into to Farrah, she had to change some of it because I didn't think I would be joining after some pressing issues in my life. Thus, leaving Blaze's history in a way inconcluded, whether "alive" or "dead." Which I can understand why.

Personally, I like Blaze's character and I believe I play her well (I'm not saying anyone ever said I don't or whatever.) But I do want to incorporate her vampire and lycan characterists, just like the character "Michael" in the movie, "Underworld." I have yet to discuss why Blaze has become this or why. This is a matter, I planned on discussing but not in this episode right now. Does that make sense?

I always leave room for my characters to develop, and this is one of those times.

And I apologize Brandon, I was rushing to post before I left for work, sorry hon. :p :shrug:

heather, like i mentioned in the PM, i have no problem with blaze having enhanced senses, reflexes etc....and the idea that they would be augmented by the phases of the moon...that DOES add to her mystique. The only thing i must insist that you nix is the lupine/werewolf aspect. she mastered her control over the element of fire from valiant till now and she's now a mutant elemental. Mutants DO experience "secondary mutations" (i.e. the white queen's diamond form in addition to her telepathic powers) but lets not rush too far too fast with that. if events happen in a storyline that warrant changes then we can update a bio and go from there. im all for that ....but lets take our time. Blaze has alot of power now..more than she did when she was with Valiant.


a couple of things folks:

Phoebe is having technical problems as well as "issues" involving parent restriction. She didnt anticipate this and i've spoken to her, i KNOW that she very much wants to stay....She's a good rp'er and it is my hope that MorningStar will provide the Six with a ray of light as soon as she can. in the mean time....I will "carry" her along in the story, other characters need not mention her.


also:
Brandon, to allow you time to catch up and move things along, Guardian has suggested that EVERYONE get some sleep for the time being. This will allow you time to move things to the next step.

Keep in mind all the changes that have occurred with any characters thus far. You havent told me what plans you have so i cant help you move things along in that regard and therefore it falls on you.

everyone is doing very well for the most part. we all need to be carefull when posting, as sometimes we post on top of each other and miss key details from a previous post so remember to refresh often. stay attentive to the story and make sure you flow with it. dont try to bust OUT of it. and if there is anything wrong....if you have any concerns or issues, Please bring them to me via PM....or post them here if you feel comfortable doing so.

it appears to me that this game may not continue much longer, with everyone either being MIA or addressing personal circumstances. i certainly cant hold that against each of you, the players, but at the same time, there really isnt much point to taking up space on the board with a game that is going to stall for most of the summer now is there? i blame myself for not being as 'on point' as i shouldve been, but there again goes the whole issue of "personal circumstances".

"The Citadle" storyline was long ...but we NEVER had this many "stops".
Every rpg, (even good ones like this featuring good players) has its slow points, its snags and such. With it being summer and all, with moves, graduation, traveling etc, i realize that now more than ever we may be in OUR slow point. But honestly, I'm not feeling very confident about the continuation of this game.

I can do one of several things: i can scrap it, replace players, simply get rid of players and change the premise of the game, OR i can sit back and hope that things will resume course.

Now is the time for each of you to give your input. The sooner the better.

I understand where you're coming from Farrah, but I really don't want this game to end. Honestly, I haven't been in a good board RPG (let along regular RPG) in a very long time. Pretty much since Generations of War. This is the first time in a very long time where I actually LIKE my character, in every aspect. I've made her my own, I've enjoyed RPing her, I've enjoyed the cattyness, interaction, and connection between all our characters. And I really hope that you don't decide to drop the game because we hit a snag.

But like I said, I do understand that it can be frustrating creating a game that has been as slow as it has been the past couple of weeks. But with the amount of work we all put forth, and most importantly the amount of FUN we have all had together in the game and in chats, I don't think it's worth completely shutting it down and giving up. I of course started this trend, if you would like to call it that, buy having to move and be gone for two weeks. And I again apologize for that. But like you said, with school ending, summer starting, and vacations brewing, the game is going to slow for a bit, but it will pick up. I can garentee you that. If everyone enjoys this game as much as I do (and from the looks of it they do!), they're not going to want it to end.

So I hope that you take the fact that we all love this game into consideration before you make a decision to shut it down and such.

Personally Farrah, I think you would be foolish to drop such a diamond that you have created. I LOVE this rpg very much and the other player's involved. I look forward coming online to post (a little too much based on Jess' observation). :p :shrug:

I don't think "replacing" players is a good idea unless that player(s) need or want to be dropped from the game. Speaking for myself, I don't wanna leave or see this rpg get the ax. Yeah, we do have a slow interlude, but hon you have worked so incredible hard for this and I refuse to allow my best friend to put this to rest, not without a fight from Floozy. :D :vamp:

Summer is full of activity, I myself am going to be traveling for a bit without Internet access but I KNOW this game will do well. We had major success already.

However....once I do move to FL (which I'm unsure now, I'm hoping by this fall) I think I will actually retire from role playing and message boards. But I'm NOT sure, so this is not set in stone. But I might have to say good - bye once I do leave. That's just a might, I won't know until later on as the months pass to see how much money I have, who knows maybe I'll buy a "notebook" with internet access.

Okay everyone lol.. Color me embarassed but I am all done moving actually... I guess I am just used to moving across country and having it take so many days lol.. so we can still continue on with this RPG full speed :) I am gonna talk to Farrah about how I want to end it so that everyone is in the loop but we will finish this by the end of the week or sooner..

The only problem with the RPG is that is RAN and solely in the hands of us Six. It is different in a battle rpg where there are MANY members that can take up the slack for those involved. This is a GREAT RP and there are so many great players.. truly the creme of the crop here and I don't want to see this ended.. I mean look at us all together the amount of energy and the good time we have while doing this.. everytime one of these ends we all lose touch and I don't want that to happen.

It IS the Summer and all that and we will all have our moments when we need to take some time off but this will definitely pull through with all of us together...

Also remember that you Farrah are an expert at running and coordinating these things and I have realized that after doing this that is SOO much harder than I ever thought.. I know the others will experience that too when their storylines come along and we have to work around that as well.. we may be good RPers but good story leaders is another story altogether.. So just give it time.. We will make this something to remember!

Personally, I thought the death scene of Athena was brilliant! Nice job Brandon, it was a sad scene but its so fitting for the Witchfire character, especially to target an animal. hey guys im sorry i went MIA... we lost internet connection for a couple days and I got it fixed this afternoon. Farrah... dont be ridiculous. :-p the others are right... we will have our slow bits... and summer is a time when we all travel and have more time to devote to other things... i myself will be gone for ten days in june and then again at the end of august... the first trip for business and the second for pleasure.... but dont give up on us yet... when we get hot we get REALLY hot... and its like a rollercoaster the was this game hits periods of activity. I myself am really enjoying this game... like Sam, i really didnt have a good RPG to go to after tRoW collapsed... i mean, ROTZ was alright... but that ran out of steam quickly.

Oh, and a question... this storyline is wrapping this week... will there be another small period of rest between this and the inferno storyline or will we jump straight into that?

Well.. I am sorry for not posting today but I had a really somewhat traumatizing experience happen to me today..

I was in a Car Accident which really sucked.. I was by myself and my soda spilled into the passenger seat and I bent down to pick it up.. I looked and saw that I was really close to the car and tried to press my break but I was in shock and I hit the accelerator instead and ended up hitting a parked car at 35 mph... I plowed right through it and physically moved the car from it's parking space about four feet ahead..

I got some bruising on my side from the seatbelt and I cut my hand but that is it.. My truck however is completely totalled. The car that I hit is going to probably need at least $2,000 in repairs at the LEAST and I got a ticket for not paying attention for about $142.. it was a bad day... I am under my grandparents insurance and they have full coverage but now my insurance is going to SKY Rocket and I will need to take a loan out in order to pay the damage as we are trying NOT to get the guy to take it to my insurance.. He was an older asian man and he was really NICE to me after I frieken rear ended his car and only wanted to know if I was alright which made me feel even worse...

On the other hand.. I got the second job I wanted at Starbucks so now I guess I will have more money coming in to pay my loan off and what not... It was a LONG day but I have the day off tomorrow and I plan on posting tomorrow after I deal with my truck and what not with my Uncle and Grandpa... So yeah.. a VERY scary day as I am sure that if I wasn't wearing my seatbelt I would have went through the windshield.. it is times like these where I feel like I need to find religion lol...

So I have had a very stressful evening after an all around really good day which sucks but I want to let everyone know that I am okay just a little sore from where the seatbelt was... So yeah... I am fine and I will work out a way to fix this myself.. I need to take responsibility for my actions and I will so don't worry lol....

Okay well here is the update on Me everyone :)

We decided to report it TO the insurance so we don't have to come up with the money to fix the guys' car.. I can deal with the insurance payments and it turns out my car can be fixed for a couple hundred which isn't bad.. I just need to be more careful now..

PLUS! I got my DSL installed! It is.. AMAZING!

UGH! i've often feared i would do something like that Brandon...but thankfully, its never happened to me. Im sorry it happened to you though :( , fortunately YOU'RE okay.

We all make mistakes, it sucks that youll have to report it to the insurance company..because now your deductable will probably go up and male drivers age 18-25 ALREADY are red flagged by most insurance companies across the country as being "high risk" drivers.

Just be careful and ALWAYS remember that if something happens inside your car, if it ISNT going to immediately effect you or your ability to drive, then just leave it until you can pull over somewhere.

yeah, omg, i did that just recently on the 6 hour drive home... i had the car all loaded up... and my fish in a small tank in the back seat... i pulled out of a gas station about 100 miles from home and went to slow down for a stop light, but my fish were all sloshing around in the back so i turned to look and see if they were still right side up and wham! hit this poor kid on the way to prom going like 10 mph. there was remarkably no damage to his truck but i hit his hitch and it crimped the front of my hood and damaged the front bumper.... so thats why im working over the summer... to pay for the repairs on my car and get the stereo put in... of course now i have to wait until last to do the stereo thing and ONLY if i have enough... because the repairs come first :( so thats a real bummer because ive so been looking forward to it and ive have the damn speakers in my trunk for months. :p

Sorry i didnt post last night guys... im stuck to using my sister's computer and last night one of the computers overheated and shut off AS i was typing... scared me half to death, because it smelled of fire... the computer is new and under warranty... but it still needs to be fixed... right now im using another sister's computer... so yall bare with me if i cant post a whole lot for a week or so... there shouldnt be a PROBLEM with it persay, i can get on every day and pretty much whenever i want... but just in case.

Ladies & Gentleman, that concludes the King storyline. Everyone hung in there and despite all the stumbles we ALL had along the way in real life...we got through. Brandon i think you learned alot through being the director of this portion of the game. you played multiple roles and directed the story. I really only had to talk to about things once or twice. :)

we got to explore the tragic bond between alison and cameron, and meet erika, a very memorable character who is going to be with us for a while.

we are about to begin the Inferno Crisis, followed by The Trial. Deimos (Morpheus//CJ) is waiting in the wings to join us. he as taken his actor image (michael jai white) and is putting together the bio for his character. Heather is on Vactaion so i will carry her into the next storyline and unfortunately, i dont know WHAT happened to MorhingStar/Phoebe, i know a little of her offline cirumstance and because of that, im going to keep her character in the cast list. she may be able to return at a later date.

LOL, yeah but Port Charles was cancled because of low ratings. Mainly because people didn't relate to the vampire crap. Most people watch soaps because they deal with real issues but also because they push it past the real issues into something that's entertaining to watch. ;) I believe Passions is the lowest rating soap too. lol. i think Port Charles and Passions were rather creative...like "fantasy soaps"..they were probably meant to appeal to a younger crowd and were trying something different.

the reason i knew about Jamal on port charles was because i read an article about him in People magazine a few years back.

there are alot of sub genre's within the soaps. Dynasty, Dallas and Melrose Place are "night time soaps" and were quite different from the more fluffy, dramatic and "polished" "Day time soaps". when you have those long running, established soaps like Y&R, All my children, Days, OLTL, TB&TB...i think alternatives like Passions and Port Charles can be worth a look sometimes.

I won't mind a fantasy based daytime soap if they actually had good graphics and what not like on Buffy or Charmed. But because of the minimum budget that soaps have, that will never happen.

Last year on General Hospital there was a huge storyline revolving around a fire that errupted in the Port Charles Hotel trapping everyone within the hotel. This storyline ran a good few weeks if not a month, and the graphics of the actual hotel burning were horrible. I read in an article that the storyline alone cost them so much money that they couldn't afford to do anything huge like that for another year or so.

Personally if they had a soap that was Charmed/Buffy/Angel based with a good budget to actual make it seem realistic (even though in actuality vampires and witches aren't realistic), I would so tune in. But with the low ratings of soaps these days, and the constant talk of having them taken off the air, I highly doubt that's gonna happen.

Wow, what a blur. I'm terribly sorry I havent gotten back to you guys before this, everythings just been so harried I've hardly had time to sort it all out. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to TAKE my Flight exam, for not long after I got there we had a spell of bad weather which smothered my chances and sent me back home. Between getting caught up in my internet class and work and family life, and the inability to escape being victim to some childish vandalism, I just kind of got swept away in the comotion.

I had rather hoped you hadn't given up on me just yet and put Haleigh in with the "Past Characters" but I suppose my MIA status has been on so long that its justly deserved.

Even more unfortunately, I'm afraid I still can't spare the time commitment this RPG deserves, for the end of summer has sprung itself on me and I'm about to be bogged down with repacking all my belongings and moving back up to campus. I also have a long deserved vacation coming Sunday, so the forecast for my involvement seems grim. Please let me know. :)

So it seems I need to take an extended leave of the RPG. Again, my apologies for being unable to give you guys a heads up before this. If I haven't trespassed on my welcome here, I hope to return after the start of term. I had fully intended to return a long time ago, but, you know how RL goes sometimes.

Aw, yall are so sweet. I had been afraid you guys might think something like that, and I'd have said something much sooner but its just been one thing after another. Anyways, If my plane HAD gone down, I'm sure you guys would've heard something about it in the news, as the press seems obsessed with printing all these plane incidents since the White House scare a few months back.

I DO plan to return, and I'm glad you'll have me back. Sorry for leaving you guys hanging so long, If i'd even had time to LOG ON to yahoo I'd have responded promptly to curb your worry. I'm glad you guys understand. I might be able to return somewhat after my vacation, because my Internet class will be over and I'll have a litle more free time [hopefully] I was going to go back early to give one more stab at my pilot license, but I think we'll just scrub those plans as my Flight Instructor said I wont be that behind in my studies and commercial is such a long stage that I'll be able to continue flying without getting hung up on unfinished ground classes. I'll definitely be able to return in full force once I get settled in my place and start school again, I'll be sure to let you all know when the time is right, and Ill be thinking of a way to explain what Haleigh's been doing all this time. Well.. I am trying to show that Cameron has been completely quiet during the entire Inferno while everyone is blaming him for what has gone on, when Cameron himself still has all this pent up animosity. He knows he is part of what happened, but he feels that everyone involved is just as much to blame. Which is why he is now venting to the one person who will counsel him instead of merely pointing out his faults.

we are now about to begin Shockwave's storyline. Shockwave will be the director of this storyline. I of course am the general mastrix and any technical matters will be handled by me but please follow Shockwave's direction for the duration of this storyline. :)


also, while we are aniticipating Black Widow's return, we can NOW welcome Bane who will be joining us in this storyline and who's character will become a permanent cast member of The Six (if Morgan and Alison dont murder him first :D )

okay, this IS Sam's storyline..but there are a few OVER ALL plot /character development issues i want to deal with here as well..and i want them dealt with in this storyline.


a) ErikaKing is no longer intregal to the storyline...she needs to be phased out. She can return at a later date but we need to trime down the number of "allies" involved. Ororo would not be needed here as well and that is why she is back in Limbo. Karen is here ONLY because of her link to Helena...and that will provide some of the reason that Morgan agree's to help alexis. I'm going to begin presentation of a different aspect of Morgan's personality now....she's already done so by reaching out to Alexis in a show of solidarity..but there's more to come.

b) sam, you have got to make sure you dont let the story get away from you. timing is everything.

c) cameron king, while excellently played, is NOT going to be able to meld into The Six with his current attitude. he needs to be checked...and he needs to get a clue. if he doesnt...he will be more liability than asset. the CHARACTER is obviously engaging and an attention getter...but if this team is going to be able to co-exist under one roof, HE needs to be developed further..in a POSITIVE direction Alexis and Morgan are building a bridge, Alison is showing a different side of herself..yet Cameron is continuing to act as though he has the drop on everyone. it should be obvious by now that he's pissing off and alienating the very people who could help him get to the next level. you may not LIKE the way i bombard him with problems..BUT if a character is going to be presented that way..then its only fair to test and see where the breaking point is. if you want it to stop, then start developing him more. he could be a GREAT asset to the team..much like Brenthon was to MoE.

d) sam, if your going to keep things going..you've GOT to make sure you "direct and lead in" with your posts...as it stands right now...your not doing that.

c) rich...dont spend too much time devouring everyone with your character's powers that he winds up dead before he even gets a chance to join the six. there has to be SOME semblance of a "bridge" for him to connect with alexis, morgan and alison.....and cameron as well.

d) brandon, you CAN make a dummy account for Recall if you like. BUT she is to stay in the "background" until such time she is needed for a storyline.
