I'm watching it and enjoying it. The first filler arc wasn't bad, but this new one is not doing a lot for me so far, but it's only been two episodes. What hooked me the most about the series, compared to Naruto which I also like, is the cast of characters. The Shingami are more interesting to me then the main characters, all though the reveal of Ichigo's father was intriguing.

That's sort of why I stick to one and not take in both.
A fellow I once new had a general rule of thumb concerning anime and manga. It could apply elsewhere too. It goes, "The one that came first will almost always be the better, but the one you saw first is more likely to be the one you enjoy most." I've found it to be true for the most part. I've thought about getting the manga, but I enjoy the series and it's music has been nice. Plus, I don't like reading comics or manga off of a computer screen or I'd do what you're doing too. Mind you, the filler can be entertaining too, if being ultimately fluff compared to the "real" story.

So which is your favorite Shinigami? Mine so far is a toss up between Hitsaguya and Matsumoto. Both have stories that have been hinted at, but not told.

I bet you thought I'd say my fav is Yoruichi, close! She is a fav and not just 'cause she's a cat! :heee:

I really like him too. He's almost like Reed Richards done right.
I've got to admit, I like all the Shinigami with very few exceptions.
The rogues or retired ones are the most interesting to me. The Vizard, Ichigo's dad, why did they all retire or go rogue?

Now of the main cast, then non Shinigami that I like is Orehime. She's such a sweet girl and such a ditz at times. She takes a tremendous load of abuse but keeps going, I really like that about her.

i love english dubs but they ruined it when they bring in Nel Nel's english voice kinda sucks :P

The voice acting is usually the worst point on any anime only sometimes have i found the voice work on the English version to be as good or better

I read the manga, i used to watch the anime too, but i kinda lost interest.

Favorite characters now is:

Kenpachi & Yachiru (untapped potentia + awesome sidekickl)
Ikkaku (he is clearly just awesome)
Yumichika (interesting guy)
