Hey all :) I'm on a little break from work, so I am going to try to be on as much as I can. I still don't have internet at home though, but I can use the library connection now that I'm off on a day other than Sunday when it's closed. Sorry about my long absence. I just got so behind with reading, and then I was getting in trouble at work for not paying attention to my walkie lol, so the last couple of days I didn't get a chance to try. My total bad, but I will do my best to make up for it in future.

Hey everyone :) I'm on the library computer (15 minute limit! lol) because my computer totally died and is at Circuit Shitty while they figure out how many millions of dollars it's going to cost me to fix it. So I am going to do the best I can but it's going to be hairy probably at least for the next week. I'm off work now so I can't even use someone else's computer there :( But I'll try my best. Sunday the library is closed so I probably won't be on at all that day unless I can find some place where I can use a computer.

alright everyone... We did lose power last night when Ike made landfall and the system made a nearly direct pass over us, LOL. Our fence too a beating and it's a mess out there of tree limbs and debri but there was no damage to the house or anything and now the storm's up near Dallas, so no more danger.

However.... we are still in a power blackout and the only way I'm online now is a verizon wireless access card. I was able to get my post up from last night. It really bugged me-- I was so close to finishing when the power went out. but anyways... I'm going to conserve laptop battery and only use it to really check on the power situation. So probably no more posts from me for the weekend unless we get power back. I'll keep you guys updated. I can't imagine we'll spend too much time in the house without AC, we'll probably find a hotel with power to stay in if the outage lasts longer than the weekend.

Hey all :) Sorry for my absence the past two days. I got my computer back on Monday but I couldn't get it to connect to the internet. And yesterday I got called in at the last minute to work at Paramount, so I didn't have computer access all day. Hopefully today I can get all the windows updates I need so I can connect to the internet at home, but I should be able to get to the library if not unless I'm called in to work again.

Alrighty here's an update. Tuesday the phone will be shut off since it'll be the last day I'm at the house. That Friday the cable guy will come to hook up the cable, phone, and high speed (FINALLY!). So I won't have internet for a few days there. Posting at work might be slim because my boss is hounding me with work. I'll try to post as much as I can, although I was waiting from a PM from Farrah lol. Thus the delay in posting. ;)

Things have been really crazy at work with tax season coming up in January 2009. That's our busiest season (January - April). We have a lot of clients coming in to do their year end review. Plus I'm overloaded with work. By the time I come home I'm exhausted. My mind is lacking being burned out from work.

So, if I'm a little slow or lax in posting that's why. The weekends are better because I get caught up on sleep, I have time to relax, etc. If I don't post in the next two days you can expect thread replies on Saturday.

Next week I should be back on schedule with posting everyday or when needed.

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up in case you don't see me. My AC adapter died for my Dell Inspiron E1705 last night. I brought it to work hoping it was just the wall outlet but it's not the case. One of the other attorney's plugged his AC adapter into mine (we have the same model) and it was charging.

I ordered one along with a surge protector today to have it shipped in a day. So I should have it either tomorrow or Saturday, Sunday, or Monday at the latest. But according to the site I used if I ordered before 3:00 PM I would have it shipped that day, which I did lol.

So, if you don't see me replying, I haven't gotten my AC adapter yet.

Well, we've got four months to go before the big move, we put our house up for sale on thursday and since then we've been doing repairs and spring cleaning and yardwork, etc.

and then of course life as usual has to be carried on in between that.... so I've found I have minimal free time, lol. I've been checking in here and there and reading along, but that's really all I have time for. I'll try to post this evening if I get a chance, at least I won't have to catch up on reading. :p

Sorry for the MIA, my internet has been severely messed up and work has been a nightmare. Everything is back on track. I'll be posting sometime tonight.

Hey everyone, I mentioned this a while ago, but I thought I'd give an update on it, since it's started to occupy a considerable amount of my time, lol.

We've sold our house here, and so far everything's set for it to close at the end of May. :) Right now there's lots of packing to be done, and other pre-moving arrangements and activities abound. I'm sure I'll be able to check in daily and keep read up, and I'll post as often as I have time. I don't expect to hold anything up too bad, but in case I get overwhelmed for a few days, y'all will know what happened, lol.

For June... I'm not entirely sure how that will go. We'll still be in Texas for a couple of weeks, to tie up loose ends. Then it's off to South Carolina for a week for my sister's National competition. the last week of June is so far planned to be a well deserved vacation with my grandparents who live in Florida. We haven't any doubt that we will have a place in Tampa starting in July. :D I'm so thrilled I don't know what to be excited about most at this point, LOL

I'll do my best to keep everyone up to date during June, the month we'll be playing musical hotels/states. And I'll give notice if I anticipate a prolonged absence. :p

Everything is happening at like LIGHTSPEED lol. What with my graduation this week, and the light at the end of the tunnel of my flight training, and the move has kicked into overdrive with the selling of the house and sometimes I feel like I've set my hair on fire, but in an awesome way LOL.

well, we've completed our current storyline. I know we took are sweet time but i hope you enjoyed the storyline as i did! :)

now, as i often do between storylines, i'd like to ask if everyone here is still interested in carrying on! There's still lots of adventures for the Six but only if the talented players are on board.

we're going to do a "non canon" story next if everyone is on board. itll be shorter (as was the last one like this) before we move on to the next mainstream storyline.

I was wondering though, we do a lot of supernatural aspects such as witches, zombies, demons, etc. But I've never seen a vampire and/or a lycan. I know those two aren't your absolute favorite. But I'd love to see a storyline involved with them. Even if it's something small say in the future. ;)

I've been doing some thinking a lot lately about my online life here. I've noticed a few things that seem a little abnormal. Such as me taking forever to post, which I apologize for the inconvenience for. I can't seem to get into writing. I come home from work and I have to force myself to reply and that's not fair to you guys. As such, I think the best thing for me is to leave the game.

I want it to be clear that I don't have any bad feelings with anyone here. I think this is a good group of characters. I know I can't go on a long hiatus because I don't know when I would return, which isn't fair to Farrah or anyone here. I just can't seem to wrap my head around writing anymore so I guess I'm taking a reprieve.

I would ask that all players here not kill off my character. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience.

I'm hoping this is just a quick period of exhaustion or something because if I get the writing bug I would like to return to the game in the future if that's acceptable to Farrah and other players here.

I just wanted to let you know I'm in Myrtle Beach, SC for my sister's national dance competition. There's internet access but only at the computer lab down off the lobby. For some strange, incomprehensible reason, the Sheraton doesn't provide a wireless network to the guest rooms, not even one you can pay for. So i'll be on from time to time if I get a minute, but I'm not trying to hang out in the lobby LOL and I expect to be pretty busy. After Saturday it's off to FL to visit my grandparents. The other idea I have is (which I know I've said a thousand times lol but) What if the Six died on their very first mission? Which would allow each of us to play a new character that's filling the gap left by the Six.

Okay so let's get this all together.

I think the idea of new characters works. Teenagers with abilities who were apart of Delilah's Organization.

Here is what I think... everyone feel free to let me know what you think haha..

We have a group of mutant teenagers who each had a close relationship with Delilah in each way. We can say The Six were killed in some mysterious event, and I think a good way to start the story would be the kids attending a special memorial for Delilah at The Lighthouse Foundation (that's the name right?) and we can have the kids mourn and try and figure out who was responsible for her death, and then we can segway to the kids banding together to carry on her mission, the mission of the six.

Then we can have MysTech realize who these kids are, that they have great potential and they are getting too close to uncovering that MysTech is responsible for the deaths of the Six, and can have them put on a hitlist. So the story can revolve around the kids fighting for their lives and each other..

We can have the kids have parents or not, come up with your own background, homeless whatever lol... but I think that's a strong starting point and it incorporates alot of the ideas we were bouncing back and forthe...

Bio: Richard was born in a small town in South Carolina that was anchored by a chemical plant loosely affiliated with Mystech. He was a popular kid who was well-known and liked by his peers, managing to be a great student and good athlete. After the football game, he went with his friends to th local lake to swim when he was unfortunate enough to find the pipe that was being used to pump chemical waste into the water.

His friends still remember his screams. He was never found and, although Mystech hushed up the incident, the resultant uproar in the town kept the lake clean, saving the other residents due to his "death".

In reality Rick awoke days later, horrified to find that his body was changed, becoming the same as whatever he touched. He fled his hometown, deciding not to return in such a horrible condition. Over time, he got some control over his abilities and now tries to understand what happened to hm, hoping that one day he will feel fit to return to his family.
