the starlights, originally minor characters in the Sailor Moon manga, they became MAJOR players in the final season of Sailor Moon entitled "Sailor Moon- Sailor Stars"

They are unique (and still controversial even in Japan) in that they lived their lives as pretty, androgynous MEN (in civilian form) while transforming into WOMEN when they became Sailor Senshi (since all senshi are females)

My Favorite character has to be Sailor Pluto devoted to duty, strong, and the time controlling abilities. Anyone read the original manga by Naoko Takeuchi?? How is it?

I never really watched it, so I couldn't get into it. Sorry. :erm:

Mind you, I've thought of trying to check out the live action one. It looked like it would work well that way and some of the actress were also in some of the Kamen Rider stuff I've watched.
