I know that we have a whole lot of Degrassi lovers on these boards, because everyone from DB is flocking to the new affiliate.

Well, to start the discussion on the actual show... Emma is SO different in season 4 than the lil' ol' Emma we USED to know in seasons 1-3! I just don't understand it. What went wrong? :worry:

I have always hated Emma. I think she is the worst character on the show. I have always preferred Manny. She has that bitchy kind of demeanor that I like. She doesn't let Emma bully her around. So what if she has been a little slutty lately lol...

My other favorite characters are Ashley, Craig, Paige, Teri and Hazel. I absolutely can't stand Marco and his love story because the two are just so un matched. Paige's brother looks so much older than him it looks like Molestation.

My favorite storyline has been the Ashley/Craig/Manny love triangle.. and I love all the music on the show too.. Especially the theme song. It gets in my head.. "Whatever it Takes! I know I can make it through!"

Mmhmm, I know what you mean. I never really LOVED Emma, but I knew that the writers just had to make a "Green Peace" character for all the Vegans that watch Degrassi.



In the episode Secret, I was surprised by how incredibly SLUTTY Emma was. I mean, since when does she just give blow jobs to random guys like JAY? Now I like Alex better than Emma, because like you said, she just has a bitchy but undeniably cool air about her. It was awesome when she smacked down Amy. :p



And as for the Ashley/Craig/Manny love triangle? LOVED it. Great storyline; Ashley is absolutely perfect for Craig, regardless of Manny.

I am one of the old timers who watched the ORIGINAL Degrassi High (or was it Junior High..i cant remember the exact title) but back then...the original Degrassi was the kind of show that was kind of off beat and youd always be surprised that someone ELSE besides you watched it lol. i havent seen the new one yet...but ive heard its quite intense.

See Emma is my favorite character because she has changed, and with that grown up, from day one while alot of the other characters really haven't. So she's edgier then she was in first season, she's also four years older. As for many being a little slutty...are we watching the same show????
Some random that's been bothering me is the whole liberty/JT thing which just came from nowhere...i really don't see those two together. Liberty is afterall the girl who did her final project on JT, how can he want to date someone who borderline stalked him throughout the years????

Emma is my favorite charater too she changed so much through out the seasons I also love Paige now she rocks shes funny and kool Degrassi has been my favorite show since the summer

Emma is my favorite also. Probably because we're a lot alike. I love how she always stands up and out for what is right. She's also pretty nosy when it comes to certain things, and is a tad insecure.

I also love Craig, Paige, Jimmy, Marco, Manny, and JT... Yeah, and the whole rest of the cast, but I guess I have 7 favorites. :p

I love Degrassi! I can't wait for the season on the-N to start back up again. My favorite charecter would have to be Ellie So much drama in her life. My role models are both from degrassi. Stacey Farber and Lauren Collins are great at what they do. I also love paige she is so awsome.

I love Degrassi. Mainly because it's real life, and I can relate to alot of the issues and characters. My favorite characters are: Paige, Emma, Jimmy, Terri, Hazel, and Craig. My favorite episode was Secrets part 1 and 2, and my favorite season is Season 4. I can't wait for Neutron Dance to air in the U.S! I ship: CrAsh, Eman, Jazel, Darco, Jiberty, and Spaige.

Degrassi is definitely one of my favorite shows. I actually didn't like it at first until I started watching every week. I think it's great that they handle real life issues in their storylines and don't candy coat it like most TV shows do. Although, we here in the US don't get to see most of it because of The-N's stupid censorship.

I'm the same. It was rare for it to be shown here in the UK, but it was on Sky at strage hours and I was hooked. For me its up there with My So Called Life. I've not seen the new one yet, but I do want to as Kevin Smith did a guest role and I have to see that.

I can't believe that the-n has only shown 4 episodes and called it the season finale! didn't they call BACK IN BLACK the season finale? and didn't we have to wait like THREE WEEKS for tss 1 and 2 to show? what's really going on here?? Now that I tink about it... maybe it has something to do with what emma says in secrets ::ponders::

I've been watching Degrassi for the past year. I had no clue what this show was before then...I honestly thought it was something associated with Pokemon. LOL. But once I watched a couple of episodes I was hooked. lol. I really enjoy this show and can't wait for the new season to start. :D
