The Astronauts do have lasers but the Cavemen have domesticated dinos ;)

Are...you serious? Astronauts for the win, they may have domesticated Dinosaurs but those towering lizard freaks can't stand up to a good old phaser whipping. The Cavemen are armed with nothing but bones, makeshift clubs, and a stubbed toe. There, battle all settled.
