I saw this video on youtube:

I was kind of shocked by how fast and violent this catfight happened. Now as a cat owner, i KNOW how testy cats can be with one another and when you have a house cat (some breeds are more notorious for this than others) that spots a stray or other animal on its territory, agression and even violence can ensue.
BUT, notice that the owner of the cat who attacked the stray went so far as to touch the stray? could THAT have hastened the catfight? should she have stayed out of it completely? i also wonder what she would have done if her cat had been injured...would she have done something to stray? what if the stray had been injured? would she have taken it to the humane society?
i feel like her judgement was poor in this situation as one or both animals could have gotten hurt. what do you think?
