<<chimes sound off as thunder blasts and a stepping disc opens vertially in the secluded hallway of the TOP floor of Illustra. the concealed blue lighting softly lit the cold corridor as Morgan and Alison stepped forward>>

Well here we are....back in Illustra!

<< turning to look at Guardian>>

Alison, are you sure you're okay??? You've gone for months...and I was very worried. Imagiomg was to you what Black was to me. Maybe we shouldve let Ororo look you over once more.

<< she began checking over Alison. Morgan was always very protective of those she cared about. As she helped Alison down the hall...she couldnt help but notice that her partner, her dear friend, was extremely docile and light footed right now....she seemed detatched from everything around her>>

Alison?

::frowning up as she closed her eyes tightly, Alison shook her head...as though she were shaking off some diziness.::

Sorry Morgan...its the temporal shift.....Limbo's "time" passes differently than that on earth's and my power makes me sensitive to it...i could not attempt to harness time in limbo as i do on earth...

plus...having spent time in Limbo as long as i did....the serenity of Ororo's garden and the safety of her castle... i felt as though i would never want to leave!

::making her way to the double doors with Morgan, she stood back as Morgan deactivated her warding spell to let them in.....neither women could sense that someone had been there just hours earlier, masquerading as Morgan. She made her way inside with Morgan to the palatial, sprawling penthouse with its chic, sophisticated decorum and cool breezes flowing round.::

WoW.....you and Ororo really fixed this place up with your master spell after the Citadle caper. i cant believe you actually made accomodations for those others.....they probably arent even GREATFULL for what you did!

<<indeed, Spellbinder was unaware that any changes had been made to her penthouse. as they entered into the luxe residence the doors slammed shut behind them and the warding spell reactivated....Spell waved her hand as soft recessed lighting slowly filled the room to give it a cozy feel...and sultry, modern jazz music filled the air from her state of the earth sound system>>

<<SIGH>> Alison..i dont know......but honestly after what ororo said following our escaping the citadle...it seemed like the right thing to do, to provide those wretches a place to stay so that would could all be together. most of them had their own residence...but now Illustra is our group's base of operations.

It appears that our being "The Six" was meant by design and who am I to try to stand in the way of what has been confirmed by many occurrences over the months. But at least I am not on the same floors as they are.

<< rolling her eyes>>

Alison, make your self at home while i fix us some tea...but first let me check on my Tinkerbell.

<<Morgan moved from the large , spacious sunken in living room down a hall way leading to her chamber of dreams....slipping out of her silver heeled stillettos and putting on her comfortable dear foam slippers..a cute, stark contrast from her leather black one shoulder cleavage bearing top and mini skirt. She still remained tall, standing at 6"1 as she ran her hands through her blonde double highlighted hair and waved her hand and soft lighting faded on to dimly light her chamber. she found tinkerbell sitting in a corner....looking rather distressed>>

Tinker?? mommy's home... c'mere little one!

<<tinker meowed in a rather agitated manner...and seemed unwilling to move. when Morgan came over to reach down for her beloved familiar...Tinker arched her back and ran.....scampering under the bed>>

hmm.. thats odd for tink.....to run from me like that. perhaps she's just startled by the music and alison's voice.

<< Spell went back down the hall and passed by the living room seeing Alison sitting on the large leather secitonal and looking out of the floor-to-ceiling panoramic window....enjoying her uninterrupted view of the new york skyline and beyond.Noting that Alison seemed calm and relaxed, Morgan smiled as she went on to her state of the art kitchen and began to prepare a nice pot of tea and some pastries>>

it almost feels like old times...BEFORE we met those other people. but at least NOW my sister is back as well....and she is now safely within Illustra....under my watchfull eye. No one will ever harm her OR alison again.....not without paying for it with their LIFE!

<<Morgan prepared their light refreshments.....totally unaware that she had been a no show for the important press junket of the Parthenon. TWO days had passed since her departure...and no one knew where she had gone...or that she had RETURNED with Alison>>

<< returning to the living with a sterling silver serving tray, along with a pair of cups and saucers, milk, sugar and all the necessary accessories, Spell sat the serving tray on the stylish coffee table and sat across from Alison...with the beautiful night sky as their backdrop, the two women couldve been the image of some ultra modern, Norman Rockwell inspired painting>>

help yourself Ali, I'ts good to ahve you back. How are you feeling now.....has the time change begun to wear off?

::back on earth...her mind and her powers readjusted, she felt free, ALIVE...and surprisingly hopefull for what lay ahead....not withstanding her ability as a Seer::

::she drink some tea...and took a pastry as she leaned back into area of the plush leather sectional that she sat in::

::sigh::

you know what Morg?....i feel GREAT actually. My time In Ororo's garden....it really did more for me than just allow her to liberate me from that cancer of imagiomg. the magick and the splendor of it all...it CALMED my soul and my mind. For the first time in ages...i could let go and really just BE.

::the nice, smooth, modern jazz continued to play...it went so well with the dark and starry sky of the night over NYC...as she and Morgan were having some truly "sisterly" time together. for despite all that had happen over the past months, Morgan and Alison were partners, there were "sisters" in every sense BUT blood....they were a TEAM::

Morgan....its nice....finally being back...i think that things will be much better for us all from here on...

::time passed as the two women talked, laughed, and just enjoyed each other. it was a truly rare moment where BOTH women seemed so warm and human but no one else was present to see it as they sat in Morgan's plush, state of the art, palatial penthouse at the top of the technological gem that is Illustra. her magicks protected the perimeter of the entire penthouse from within and without...blocking all possible access, and granting them a well deserved sense of security!::

<<Spellbinder was laughing.....but soon...her mind snapped back to the looming eventuality that Guardian would have to confront the revelation about Prophet. She did not want to subject Guardian to any sudden , painfull strain so soon after she had recovered....but she didnt want this to hit Guardian like a truck either. She decided not to spoil the mood....but wait. perhaps the next morning would be a better time to tell her.>>

<< exhaling as she sipped more tea>>

Yes, i think we will be fine. its been a long time since it was just us girls. No problems, no looming threats..just a beautiful evening high above the city.

Even though the rest of them have quaters here, I honestly am not bothered by it. It's not as though i would have done much else with these particular floors and if we HAVE to stick together because of Mystech's possible remergence, then being in one place makes it that much easier. I dont really spend my time wondering what they are doing on the floors below.

<< smirking as she looked out of the panoramic window>>

Haleigh is probably chain smoking and having three ways with Cameron and Alexis. Those three could be cast members from "the real world"...they all have such "COLORFULL" personalities!

<< she said this so mockingly and with a silly look on her face..that she and Guardian both snickered with laughter at the thought of each of them>>

you know...they're all so hard and so raw with it...and i bet they are the first ones to blubber like IDIOTS when they get drunk!! oh wait....Alexis is a recovering alcoholic..i guess after she RANSACKED my liquor cabinet the first night she was here...she must have thought she was filiming a music video or something....and that it would be cute.

can you imagine Prophet and Haleigh drunk??

::Laughing loudly as Spellbinder mocked the others, She didnt seem to think twice about Prophet. could she have forgotten? or perhaps buried what she had learned in her subconscious due to the dire events of the Citadle?......she didnt indicate either way and Spellbinder didnt touch on the subject::

ah yes. I can imagine Mrs. Rambo and her sleezy telepathic side kick Cameron....being the life of the party...as they make total and utter asses out of themselves.

maybe at one of your social events we can work that out!! :D

:: the mischievious side of Alison was reasserting itself as well. She and Morgan were always partner's in crime.::

::the night wore on as more talking and laughter went on. Neither women were expecting any arrivals...but in a little while..the happiness they shared would probably be negated when Prophet and Black Widow arrived looking for Morgan::

:: Returning back to Illustra in a record amount of time, Haleigh, Blaze and Cameron got out of the Limo as they headed to the private access elevators that would take them back to Morgan's Penthouse. As they all piled in, Cameron pressed the button as they all waited. He looked at them and made a game plan, hoping that this didn't have to be an entire ordeal. He just wanted to know where she had been. ::

"Okay, so we are just going to go up there, ask her where she was, and if she gets attitude, we will just leave. I REALLY don't feel like a big confrontation. More than five minutes of that wench's mouth are enough for me..."

:: The elevator dinged as they arrived at the Top Floor of Illustra. The hallway leading down to her door was extremely well constructed and decorated. It was definitely better than the hallways and exterior decorating the halls on the lower penthouses had. Cameron almost commented but then realized that hey it was her building and if it was his building it would have been the same. Her business ethic was about the ONLY thing that Cameron respected. As he went to push the door open he was sent blasted back about five feet as he launched into Haleigh, knocking her down as well and most likely Blaze if she wasn't paying much attention. He got up and could only sigh as he let out a macho scream of anger. ::

"Goddammit! A WARDING Spell? Who does she think is going to come in here? Believe me, we have all seen her Penthouse, nobody would want furniture THAT tacky!"

:: He called out to Morgan from the outside of the Penthouse, hopefully the Scrying Glass would activate or something so that she would be able to tell who was outside. ::

"Are you kidding? Where's all the fun in that? If she's feeling FROGGY... I want her to LEAP... normally I don't need a reason... but since there are extinuating circumstances forcing us to work together... it would look better for me if i had a legitimate reason to knock her off her motherfuckin pivot. I can't believe she did this... so self-centered, that woman. You'd THINK that since it directly affects her own company... she'd have the professional courtesy to show up... just goes to highlight her adolescent-like egocentrism."

Haleigh stood slightly behind Cameron, her arms folded moodily across her chest, as He touched the door and came careening toward her. She fell backwards, caught off gaurd by his bodyweight. she spilled backwards, hitting the wall. "Oh... she did that shit on PURPOSE!" She growled, she seemed like she was preordained to violence, as she was already angry and hadn't even talked to the woman. Haleigh was in a bad mood... and now she had an outlet. She had the look of a caged tiger just waiting for a tourist to get close enough for her to maul through the bars.

<<Spellbinder was startled by the sound of her warding spell blasting back an intruder......and her scrying glass now pulsating from afar.>>

someone's outside the doors!

<< she stood up, waving her hand as the jazz music's volume toned down to the most soft and subtle level.>>

could it be an ATTACK!?

<< rushing across the room to her scrying glass in the far , darkened corner, Spellbinder views the magick lens and sees the area outside her massive front double doors....>>

It's Cameron...AND Haleigh...along with Blaze!

<<her eyes widened at first...but narrowed with contempt as she looked back at Alison>>

this is it...the moment i was NOT looking forward to....well, i must keep it together, for Alison's sake

<< Spellbinder walked quickly from the one side of the extremely large living room passing the area where Alison was sitting and soon was standing at the double doors.....standing tall and square shouldered....she breathed deeply before pointing at the doors and they slowly opened..with the sound of dungeon gates unlocking filling the air...and cold air rushing out to meet three visitors.>>

<< in an icy voice>>: Blaze!....you...brought guests...with you.

<< the luxe penthouse was now darknened...the music had stopped and only the hint of chimes in the air could be heard.....the full moon shown through the panoramic windows and provided a bewitching glow in the sunken in living room...but because of its set up..and massive space...NONE of the three at the door immediately saw Alison...they only saw Spellbinder standing before them....and tinkerbell nearby...peering at them with her sparkling blue eyes>>

** Blaze stepped into the limo, they all rode in silence with small talk between Cameron and Haleigh. They were definitely quite a pair of teammates. Rolling to a stop, each of the three got out of the limo. Adjusting her eyes to the brightness of the full moon, causing Blaze to admire the beauty. While she was looking around outside the perimeter, Cameron stepped forward, turning Blaze's eyes went wide, she couldn't warn him of her sister's own security. **

"Cam!"

** But she was cut off, seeing Cameron's muscular form send flying back into Haleigh like boiling pins. Side stepping quickly, making Haleigh smack into the wall instead. Shaking her head with a small smirk, there reactions were priceless. Waving her hand to calm both of them down. **

"Easy Rambet and Rocky, its her own protection. I doubt she does it purposely to irritate you."

** Walking over to them, she offered Cameron and Haleigh a hand up when she heard doors unlocking. And that familiar scent of designer perfume's, Blaze picked up a second track but remained silent until she was greeted by Morgan. Turning around she noticed Tinkerbell with a smile. **

"Hey Tink!" She said sweetly until she became serious, her tone tinted a bit of concern to it, "Hello Morgan, we're sorry to disturb you but Cameron, Haleigh, and myself were wondering why you hadn't showed up at the meeting today, you usually never forget. We just wanted to make sure you were fine and if everything was okay." Stepping closer, Blaze immediately knew it was Alison. **

"Hello Alison, I can't see you but I can track you. If we're disturbing you we'll leave, we didn't want any sort of alarm or confrontation from you. We were just concerned."

** Peering over her shoulder at Haleigh and Cameron, who would hope to play along with concern instead of an attitude. Blaze knew causing a scene or an attitude would provoke both Morgan and Alison. May we come in?" She asked sweetly, her voice soft spoken and warm, much differently then Morgan's cold and icy tone. **

<<Spellbinder smiled at her sister, and stepped to the side, motioning>>

<< in an icy voice>>: please, come in. we ...all have much to discuss.
I realize that I missed the press junket, but something far more pressing came up.....

<< from behind her..across the darkened room...Alison could be seen sitting on the couch....>>

and i THINK, that if you ponder it for a moment, you'll know just what i mean.

<< once all three were inside, the double doors slammed shut behind them and the warding spell reactivated. it was the first time they had all been in here since the night the Citadle caper had begun. Tinkerbell crept forward slowly...she was familiar with Blaze and liked her. She rubbed against Blaze a bit...and looked at her, before looking over at Haleigh and Cameron. Her ears went back slightly...as she seemed slightly agitated by those two...>>

"Indeed, it seemed you did. I figured as much."

** She lead Haleigh and Cameron inside, once Morgan stepped to the side. Noticing Alison sitting on the couch, Blaze gracefully nodded to her. It was evident in her sage eyes that Blaze highly respected Guardian. **

** A sudden smooth sensation rubbed up against her slacks, making Blaze grin, "hey tinker." She said before gently reaching down to scoop up Morgan's adorable cat in her arms. Making sure Tinkerbell was comfortable before massaging her fur with her hand, "have you been eating Morgan's plants again or is it Madonna?" She spoke so softly to the cat, almost like it was a baby. Walking over to the couch, Blaze sat down with Tink still cradled in her arms. "I know you just love attention." She whispered to the cat, aware the kitty could understand her. Placing Tink down onto the carpet to run off and play, Blaze crossed one leg over the other. She turned her attention to Alison. **

"How are you feeling?"

Haleigh bit her lip.... she resisted the temptation to ask if Morgan was getting Alzheimer's in her old age... for the fact she acted like she didn't know Haleigh and Cameron personally and that she 'forgot' about the press junket. Haleigh was goign to make an attepmt to be civil...

"Morgan."

She greeted formally, stepping into the penthouse after Blaze. So far, so good... she was doing well stifling her anger. Tinkerball laid her ears back at the sight of Haleigh and Cameron... and as Haleigh got a couple of steps closer, the cat suddenly hissed. Haleigh narrowed her eyes, a strangely amused grin on her face. "Clever Kitty." She teased, moving into the sitting area. the moment Alison came into view, Haleigh'sgrin contorted, twisting into a sinister and smug smirk... wasn't this a pleasant surprise?

"Alison..... back so soon? Feeling better, I hope... How's the family?" She asked facetiously. It was obvious she was being subtly provacative. not outright, but just enough to give the impression that she was insinuating SOMETHING.

:: Cameron was ready to show Morgan what was but he understood Blaze's cool and calm attitude. As much as he wanted to rip her to shreds, he figured he must be sensitive to her at the moment, which was not something he would do in his personal or business life, but only now for the sake of sparing himself a one sided argument, one although he knew he would win in this instance ::

"Yes...just...checking up on you, Morgan. We were worried.."

:: He was choking on the words. Cameron wasn't worried, he was pissed off as Morgan invited them into the Penthouse, talking about the Press Junket as if it was nothing. He guessed she just didn't care that everyone had to cover her ass, even pretend to be her and save her public image while she was in the penthouse doing absolutely nothing. It must have been something extremely incredible to go wrong that prevented Morgan from coming or he would lose his calm attitude. He whispered to Haleigh and sighed, commenting about the situation. ::

"Let's just try and do this as quick and painless as we can.. I know that you too don't want to stay in this woman's Bordello of Blood..."

:: He could see Alison in another room sitting on the couch and became almost instantly stunned and confused about it. Alison was back and nobody had notified him? Did she even remember what they had found out about each other in the Citadle? Did her injuries cause some kind of memory loss? Was she just pretending to be cold and lofty? Cameron walked slowly into the room where she was and gave a half smile to her before sitting down in a chair, not really sure of what to say at all. ::

"Uh, hello.. Alison.. Welcome back...umm.. Yes.. Morgan, what DID happen to make you miss the press junket?"

<<spellbinder seated herself next to Alison ....the backdrop of the night sky and the moon provided the only source of light in the now silent parlour ....she GLARED at Haleigh as she and Cameron seated themselves at another end of the sitting area>>

Cameron, I have been in Limbo, helping Ororo to revive and restore Alison. it was NOT an easy task. i left two days ago by earth's time....since time passes differently in Limbo. Alison was my priority....and i was not going to leave her OR Ororo to face Imagiomg's influence alone.

and just so we are clear.....Illustra, your company ALL of this..will ALWAYS take a back seat when the lives of my sister, Alison, Ororo or my mother are at stake.

<<Spellbinder's tone was cold and matter of fact. if Cameron dared to raise his voice to her, she would lash out with such ferocity. But in her mind...she focused on Ororo's voice and her words..admonishing her to CONTROL herself>>

Alison nearly died from toxic shock. It took quite a bit of trevailing on Ororo's part and mine to pull the cancer left behind by Imagiomg out of Alison's body and soul. Even now...she is not COMPLETELY whole yet. So I suggest ALL of you take care when addressing her.

<< she looked directly at Haleigh. Tinkerbell was now sitting on the sectional between Spellbinder and Blaze....she was still unhappy with the presence of Haleigh and Cameron and kept her eyes fixed on them as her tail slowly swished back and forth... Spellbinder looked over to Alison...nodding at her.>>

::Guardian's face was that of stone at the sight of Haleigh. she ignored her utterly. turning to see the face of Blaze....the woman whom she saw Spellbinder grieve over for nearly a YEAR....her cobalt blue eyes surveyed the young mutant::

Blaze....its a pleasure to see you again in far calmer circumstances. From all that Morgan has told me of you in years past, i can tell your sister loves you very much....and i am glad that you are back here with her.

::as Spellbinder seated herself next to Alison...Alison looked over at Cameron with a rather detatched look on her face. his transparent attempts at inquiring about her health and wellbeing did not amuse her::

I am alive ....thanks to Ororo and Morgan.....

I didnt realize that so much time had passed.

::apparently she was either unwilling to discuss or UNAWARE of the sibling bond she had with Cameron. the trauma of Imagiomg and the Citadle had forced that surprising revelation out of the forefront of her memory::

** Blaze clasped her hands together neatly in her lap. While the discussion began and already she sensed the air stiffen and a chill cut through the air. Various emotions were beginning to heighten especially from Morgan, Haleigh, and Cameron. Noticing Tinker's tail swaying back and forth, she gently stroked her fur, trying to ease the cat but somehow Blaze knew an argument would stir and she would be caught in the middle. Clearing her voice, her eyes moved onto Hal and Cam to glare at them once. They were walking on thin ice with Morgan especially now that Alison could clearly pinpoint the reason why they were here. **

"Anyone want some tea?"

** She felt like a character on the television show Charmed, Piper Halliwell. Always trying to break up some sort of nasty battle between Morgan and another party. Noticing how dark it was, Blaze glanced at Morgan. **

"I don't recall your place ever being so dark Morgan, care to shed some light on the subject?"

** It was more of a playful tone then a question. She was trying to lighten the mood. Her fingertips curved under Tinker's chin, scratching her there. Most cats adored this area but maybe with how agitated Tink was, perhaps the affection was unwanted. After hearing Morgan explain, Blaze nodded once. "That makes sense." Everything fell into place the more Blaze thought about it. Usually she was curious but with all the trama Alison had gone through, she decided it was best to just listen. **

:: Cameron seemed particularly angered at Alison's comments about why they came up here. It was simply none of her business since the problem was with Morgan and not with her. He snapped back at her for intruding on something that didn't involve her at all. ::

"Okay, let's not kid anyone here.. Alison, I had no clue about what had happened to you at all, hence us NOT knowing about where Morgan was, which is why we came up to see her. Yeah it was in a confrontational way but AS you can SEE I have been TRYING not to yell at ANYBODY, so why don't you take Blaze up on her offer and put something in your MOUTH so you won't be able to speak, eh?"

:: Prophet knew that this would enrage Morgan but in a way it was what he wanted. He felt like he was in the same situation again. Those two power hungry wenches felt like they were so superior and that everyone should bow down to them. He didn't care where Morgan was or what she was doing, the simple fact of the matter was that he had counted on her in business and she had let him down. He knew that this was a foreshadow of probable situations to come when Morgan would just cast him aside in order to protect someone else. This was the tension he felt with the Six and the reason why he was hesitant in the first place of even being a part of it. He continued on, at this point not being able to stop himself. ::

"Morgan, I wouldn't have it any other way when your family and friends are concerned. We were UPSET and didn't know what was going ON. You put yourself in my position as I am sure you would NOT be as forgiving as I am right now, so give a little credit. FURTHERMORE, Alison you would think finding out that we are related would cool your jets at least for a little while longer. Man that bump the Demon Mage gave you messed you up WORSE than I thought!"

Haleigh eyeballed the cat as it swished its tail. She could see Blaze out of the corner of her eye and felt the glare she inflicted on Haleigh. She felt rather unjustly scolded... she hadn't even done anything yet. She couldn't help if her mere presence put these people on a bed of nails. She looked at Morgan, studying the woman's expressions. She looked at Alison briefly and felt a swell of anger. She wanted to spring across the middle of the room and open a few new holes in the woman's face.... but she remained still, crossing her legs at the knee and clasping her hands in her lap. She kept quiet... this was more Cameron's issue, she was here for moral support.

Things happened so suddenly... that Haleigh watched it unfold with an inhuman detachment almost. She didn't jump to her feet or reach for her gun or even register expressional shock, she looked up at Morgan as the woman rounded on her, strangely calm and unresponsive. She acted as though the woman had just asked her how her day was. Haleigh evaluated the situation and new arrangements, calmly calculating in an almost computer-like fashion. She wasn't foolish... she was outnumbered here... there was no immediate retaliation that would benefit her or Cameron... Tink hisses and Haleigh returns her gaze to the animal before looking up at Spell again.

"Okay.... well done Morgan, you have just successfully demonstrated the self-control and anger management abilities of an eight year old." Haleigh made eye contact with Blaze. "Ace... what i want you to take away from this interaction, and remember each time you defend your sister to me...is that I was TRYING to be civil... and you gave ME the dirty look here. I dont just make this shit up... she really DOES need a psychological evaluation."

Haleigh stood, looking at Morgan as she buttoned her suit jacket. She didnt seemed alarmed or intimidated. She was more poised and calculated than she'd ever been around Morgan and Alison. "Morgan.... you aren't going to want to hear this.... but I have ONE more thing to address with you.... not only was what you did unprofessional.... it was VERY dangerous. If you'd not returned for MONTHS or worse, been badly hurt... we wouldn't be able to assist you... we wouldn't have even known where to LOOK.... as you neglected to tell ANYONE where you were going. Furthermore.... you put the rest of us in jeopardy with this stunt... we arent SIX if there are only THREE of us in the city. We are SUPPOSED to behave like a team. In the future... it would be best to at LEAST tell Blaze... so that SOMEONE knows."

She had the tone of an adult explaining to a 10 year old what she'd done wrong. She nodded politely at Alison, then looked at Blaze and finally back at Mo. "Alison... welcome back, it was.... nice.... seeing you again. Blaze, come by my apartment later to discuss the particulars of our.... agreement. Morgan... if you will show me out, I believe this little visit has been long enough."

She let the news of Blaze's acceptance linger a bit... Spellbinder would no doubt pounce on that... wanting to know what it meant... but Haleigh would let it weigh... and not divulge the info... a subtle stab of revenge. Haleigh could cause anguish insidiously... and being manipulative was more fun and more rewarding than being outright violent-- though that definitely felt good too.

:: Cameron flew back into the back of the Hallway due to Morgan's random blast of anger and rage. He stood up and dusted himself off as he looked at the witch with a glaring look. This was so typical of her. He hadn't even raised his voice and this was how she was reacting? This bitch needed to be knocked down a peg or two, torn up. For a brief moment he actually understood her father's want to control her. Maybe it would have done the woman good to have been dead or locked in a cell than running around likes he owned everything. Dusting himself off he lifted his head high and rolled his eyes, shrugging off the pain in his lower back before agreeing with everything that Haleigh had just said as he turned his gaze away from Morgan and now to Blaze ::

"Exactly Haleigh. Blaze, let's not forget the next time who was being the civil one there. I tried but as you can see it's impossible for those two big ass egos to share a room with anything that has an individual opinion. I tried Blaze, but I am through. And MORGAN, maybe you should RETHINK the way you treat people if you want to even keep this precious SIX together. I guess you are so stubborn you can't even listen to Ororo. She said we needed to stick together and get through this and yet here you are. PATHETIC! Let me know when you've deflated...."

:: Prophet wasn't going to deal with any of this right now. Unless someone had anything of any weight to add to the situation, he didn't care about it. He looked at all three of them and he could only laugh at their behavior. ::

**Shutting her eyes tightly, Blaze's emotions were escalating as her skin became intensely hot. The icy cold air increased in temperature the more the bickering unfolded. Blaze was always the middle person and right now she was overwhelmed by trying to play neutral to both parties, sticking up for both. She heard Cameron crash into a stepping disk, and Morgan screaming at the top of her lungs, and Haleigh speaking her peace. Bolting up right, Blaze's eyes flamed over to their eerie yellow shade. **

"ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!! ALL of you shut the FUCK up for once and get over it! Don't you see, its not just ONE of you, its ALL of you fuckers! If you would all come off your privileged life styles and actually WORK together you would see what I do, the GOOD in each of you. But instead I'm SUCKED into this void of arguments and bitch fighting. And I've HADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD ITTTTTTTTTTTTT!!! Until ALL of you get your shit together, DON'T come near me!!"

** Blaze yelled at the top of her lungs, which echoed off the walls. She quickly walked past the remaining members, walking out the door, slamming it. A large painting falling off the wall, Blaze's body became hotter as she was engulfed in flames. She had lost her temper, which she usually didn't but these people were driving her mad. **

<< Morgan wanted to do something TERRIBLE to Haleigh...but just as her runaway riptide of rage began....she realized that she had FAILED the test Ororo said would come. She had defeated her own purpose. Even HALEIGH...the demented, homicidal woman had spoken nuggets of wisdom in her surprisingly CALM retort>>

<< Morgan gritted her teeth as she glared at the woman...when FOXFIRE then joined the parade of outbursts.....storming out of the penthouse like an enraged roman candle...as the expensive panting by the door crashed to the floor...Morgan stared at the double doors slamming...then she slowly turned back to look over at Alison...who sat on the couch...seemingly emotionless....and then she looked back at Haleigh>>

Get out.

<< Spell waved her hand...in the twinkling of her eye...Haleigh was now in the hallway via stepping disc...and the warding spell now at FULL POWER as the silver mystic flames cascaded up the length of the doors>>

** Making her way downstairs from the express elevators, Blaze reached the spa area where the pool was kept. She definitely needed to cool off right now, running forward she lunged into the air where her flaming body hit the calm chlorine water, which steamed over as Blaze's body sunk to the bottom. Shutting her eyes at the icy cold temperature of the pool, she let her mind settle. Usually she kept her temper in check but whenever stressed or overwhelmed, Blaze would fail. A few bubbles rising to the surface of the pool while she kicked her legs up and swam to the surface. Slowly her head poked out from the ocean blue pool, her hair slicked back smoothly. Taking a deep breath, Blaze rubbed the water from her eyes. Swimming to the shallow end and then getting out. Her suit tightly slung to her athletic body and her hair curled from being soaked. Sitting down on the lounge chair, Blaze thought about what she had said, a pint of guilt washed over her. **

** She didn't understand why any of them couldn't get along except for Haleigh and Cameron, she knew why with those two. Believe it or not she liked all of them and seemed to get along fine. Peering up at the sky, Blaze just needed some air. Her temper had dropped drastically. She chuckled, she probably acted like an insane woman released from the psych. ward. She would apologize in due time, but right now it was best to leave everyone alone. **

I should have them thrown OUT of this building...and say to HELL with The Six.....dealing with those two bastards is worse than trying to traverse the nine levels of HELL.

::Standing by the panoramic window with Morgan::

Don't worry about it Morg. Those two could make GHANDI consider violence. They are nasty, amoral, back stabbing, double dealing, self serving, loathsome creatures who represent the WORST and most BASE instincts in a human without moral restraint.

::hearing herself say this....she realized that Ororo had said the EXACT same thing back in Limbo::

I don't think Cameron appreciated me telling on him the way i did..but who cares. Those two didnt care that you had been gone or WHY you had left....they only cared about his precious marketing blitz for the parthenon. Personally...i think they are using you. They have taken the circumstance of The Six and used it to gain an inroad to Illustra.

::she folded her arms::

and Cameron must enjoy his "lines" of recreation when no one is watching....he kept saying something about US being related?...like i could ever hail from the same demented, diseased gene pool that he crawled out from. :eyeroll:

::she could see Morgan was clearly distressed...and she wanted to comfort her dear friend::

Look, dont worry !! you came to help me and Lady Ororo when we needed it...you've NEVER been bound by this fashion industry..you left it once before to help Valiant remember?? and through that, you found your sister! All of this that we went through with the Citadle...again was because YOU wanted to save your sister from Christopher. TO HELL with what Cam and Haleigh said..i know you've got a heart...and i know why you keep it hidden..because people like THEM would take advantage. We'll be allright...even without them.

:: she put her hand on Morgan's shoulder:: I'm going to head down the hall to my quaters .....i need rest. If you need me for anything..give me a shout. But in the mean time, just calm down...Blaze will be returning soon, and you two can talk about things. She is always good at giving you another way to look at a situation. YOU told me that yourself.

I'm glad your back. Im going to need you if im expected to not MURDER those two.

<<they both laughed as they hugged>>

Alright...im going to clean up that frame that fell down and just chill out.....if you see Blaze on your way to your apartment........

<<she stopped herself. Alison had already said Blaze would arrive soon enough...so there was no need>>

OH.......Alison, put a warding spell on all points of entry to your apartment, and contact the security center of Illustra..i want Cameron and Haleigh monitored at ALL times by ALL monitoring and anti personell devices.

::she waved her hand as the massive double doors to her penthouse opened for Alison. watching as her friend departed...the doors closed and her spells activated once more::

Thank the GODDESS Alison is here...all those nonsense generated by those two CLODS is taking its toll on me AND Blaze.........what ELSE am i going to have to deal with for "the sake of The six"!?

She breathed heavily, her mind was on Morgan. She could tell her sister had been stressed and that's why she went berserk on the other two, her own mother did the same. **

"I need to see her."

** Blaze made her way up to Morgan's top level apartment and knocked onto the door. She was aware of the warding spells, thus why she didn't bother to touch the door handle of the posh apartment. :: Cameron was in the elevator after everyone had left and made his way back to the front door of Haleigh's penthouse. He was going to wait for her, no doubt so that the two could talk about the entire situation and the self righteousness of those two bitter wenches. He couldn't help but notice how shocked that Alison looked when he had mentioned they were related. She must have supressed it or something to that effect. It was a tragedy and torrid situation for Cameron. On one hand he wanted desperately to reach out to Alison, to learn about his past and his family and on the other he wanted nothing to do with Alison and wished she WOULDN'T have come back from Ororo's Garden. He pondered the thought as he slouched down to the door and decided that he would just meet up with Haleigh later. Getting back into the elevator, he went down the ground level. As he reached the Lobby Floor of Illustra he began to head out of the doors when he bumped into a young and seemingly distraught woman. She was a young woman around Cameron's age with blonde hair and sparkling brown eyes and she seemed to know who Cameron was. She stopped him dead in his tracks and grabbed onto his bicep, looking deep into his eyes before speaking softly. ::

Woman: You're... Cameron King right? ::sniffles:: My name.. my name is Rachel, and I need your help. I need the help of the Six...

:: Prophet immediately thrust her from his arm and took a moment to look at her, she seemed so sincere and so needing of help. But how did she know about the Six and furthermore, how did she know to come to Illustra? Things just didn't make sense, unless she was an agent of Mystech. It was probably another hit on his life. He stepped back and eyed the woman. ::

"You need the help of the Six? Oh Come on, you're from Mystech right? Come to kill us all have you?"

:: The young woman looked at him in a way that Cameron could hardly break her gaze as a tear ran down her face. ::

Rachel: Yes, I am from Mystech, but that is why I need help.. look just take me somewhere safe so that we can talk.. I promise, I am of no threat to you..

:: Cameron pondered the thought for a brief moment, before he sighed. He just felt so bad for her which was something Cameron didn't often experience. Grabbing her hand he began to take her back to his penthouse, hoping she wasn't planning on killing them all. ::

Haleigh watched Blaze explode... she hadn't seen it coming... but now that she thought about it, it made sense. Blaze was always playing middleman... Haleigh's advice to her was simply to stop. She knew WHY Blaze was always compelled to smooth things over... but it wasn't going to work much longer... something was going to give eventually.

Haleigh smirked. She'd gotten the best of Morgan... as all Morgan could retort with was "get out"... haleigh knew that DEEP down, on some level... Morgan couldn't disagree with wht hal'd said... and that had to be EATING at her. What haleigh DIDNT know was that Ororo had WARNED Morgan about it... so her words would hit home even more than intended.

"WITH Pleasure." she deadpanned, as she was stepping-disced into the hallway. Haleigh still seemed calm. Haleigh had always been in control of herself... she rarely let her emotions get the best of her.... she started towards the elevator, commenting aloud as though someone where there.

"My My... what TEMPERS that whole dysfunctional family unit has. And that meddlesome SNITCH, Alison.... she might as well change her name to Cleopatra, Queen of DENIAL AND delusional selective memory... Morgan is trying my patience... one of these days... it will run out... and when THAT happens... I'mma HURT that Bitch. BUT... I'll use more TACT than that hoity toity, highfalutin harpy seems to be capable of.... one of these days... I'll hit her where it REALLY hurts. Physical pain fades... I'll leave her mentally and emotionally scarred... thats what LASTS... yes... one of these days. But for now... i feel weak.... I haven't eaten ALL day."

The elevator closed and dinged twice, then opened once more on Haleigh's floor. She stepped off and unlocked her door. Delta and Echo greeted her immediately... and she bent down to scratch them both behind the ears, placing her keys on the small table inside the door. She went into the kitchen and began preparing some dinner. Two messages on her machine... she pressed play. One from Zach, suggesting they get together again soon and telling her he'd be back in the country in two days. One from Cass asking how the meet with Frederik went and reminding her about the next photoshoot they had scheduled. big name rap artists wanted new promotional shots for their label. They'd asked to meet directly with the top execs.

"Wonderful." Haleigh commented, cooking something on the stovetop. At least its bring in some good money.

** Patiently Blaze awaited for the alarms to be disengaged. She wasn't so sure Morgan even wanted to see her after her alarming behavior earlier. The sound of the double doors opening caused her to look forward and a gentle breeze flowed through her now dry hazelnut trestles. Stepping forward, Blaze listened to the soulful sound of jazz playing in the background, a genre she knew rather well from Morgan. Looking around for her sister, Blaze crept down the hallway when she noticed her sister vacuuming the mess she had caused. **

"I'm sorry about my behavior earlier....I felt so overwhelmed with everyone. Everytime there's some sort of conference between us, an argument stirs. I had enough and I lost my temper."

** Not getting Morgan's attention was a sign she was either upset with Blaze or she pretended to be "okay" with the whole situation. Either way, Blaze disliked it. It felt like a "silent" treatment except without visualization from Morgan. Carefully she stepped over the glass, firmly pressing her palm down onto Morgan's shoulder, but not enough to harm her. **

"I'm sorry about your painting, I'll pay for it. I did after all cause this mess."

** Whenever Blaze lost her temper she became destructive, a part of her she shared with Christopher. It seemed a short temper ran in their family, especially with Morgan. Looking down, Blaze felt ashamed of her actions, almost like a child throwing a temper tantrum. And what was worse? She was usually the calm level headed one of the bunch, with her outbursts here and there. An awkward silence filled the apartment, Blaze quietly listening to the sounds of the music in the background. Placing her right hand into her back pocket while adding more weight to her right hip. **

"I don't expect you to speak with me Morgan, I only came to apologize for my behavior. You're probably preparing to rest or relax, I can go."

** Blaze motioned towards the door but she didn't move the rest of her body. She wouldn't leave unless Morgan desired it. She awaited a response from Morgan.

- "Rachel" now sat in Cameron King's Penthouse Apartment. This was like taking candy from a baby. How easily he was manipulated. Rachel was in fact non existant. A simple illusion she had crafted like a Spider weaving a web. Rachel was none other than Kelly King, and she was continuing her assignment to get rid of the Six. She could take the chance right now, but something had curbed her enthusiasm as Cameron spoke a little weary of how the Six would exactly be able to help Rachel. -

Cameron: To tell you the truth, Rachel, I am not sure if The Six is in the best position to help you. We are down a member and right now there has been a lot of conflict. With Morgan, Haleigh, Blaze, Alison and myself at each other's throats, I just don't... well that is none of your concern.. Tell me more about your situation. You said before you were a Doctor for Mystech?

- It was too late to go back now, Kelly had gotten some good information from Cameron. The Six was near dissention within the ranks. Sure, it was only Kelly's assignment to get rid of Alison and Cameron which in itself would terminate the Six, but if she could successfully murder each and everyone of them. She would become a legend. Just then a surge went across Kelly's own PSI Screen. She could sense that Cameron was trying to mentally probe her for information. Sighing inside, she created another illusion in his mind that she was in fact Rachel, planting fake memories as he scanned "Rachel's" mind. Obviously pleased with his findings, he stopped and Kelly continued to think of the ways that she could bring down the Six as she continued on with her tragic story. -

"I was a Doctor for Mystech in the Experimental Surgery Department. It wasn't so bad in the beginning, but then the demands became too much. Gene splicing, mutating humans, fusing them with mutants, infecting people with the Techno Organic Virus. It was too much for me to handle. I threatened to expose them. For whatever reason they began to view me as a threat and that night sent agents out after me. Mystech is VERY much alive Cameron, you may have thought you stopped them with the sealing of the Citadle, but they are back in business and now a mark has been placed on my head.. and I need help.. I just don't know what do TO..."

- She began to cry softly, placing her hands in her face as she lowered her head. Kelly laughed to herself as her son placed his hand on her shoulder and seemed to be comforting her. He obviously had taken from his putrid older sister, Erika. Which led her to think just where Erika was. If she was even still alive. The first night she had came back, Kelly tried to sense her but felt absolutely nothing. Which meant she was dead, no longer a witch, or had placed a protection spell over her. Kelly knew about the spell over Cameron and Alison as it was extremely hard to break that in order to find them. Oh yes. This was going to be a fun event. The seeds she would plant within their minds would not only spread uncertainty and dissention among the ranks, but would tear friends apart, all until they rested in the palm of her hand. Then she would strike, pitting each of them against each other, until everyone was dead. Then Kelly would collect the heads of them all and proudly enter Mystech, knowing she had completed her mission. "Rachel" looked up at Cameron, her deep brown doe eyes pouting as she spoke once more. -

"Can I at least meet the rest of the group? Maybe I can convince them. I just don't know where else to turn to..."

** Morgan had cleaned up the debris in a matter of seconds. Her sparkling hunter eyes followed the same path of the vacuum, watching it disappear inside the closet with the door closing in behind it. Blaze could tell by the serious expression on her sister's face, something important was about to be discussed. Approaching the leather sectional, Blaze sat down, mimicking her sister's own movements. She was curious now, what did they need to discuss? **

** The sound of thunder startled Blaze who glanced over her shoulder to peer out the window. It either radiated from a storm or Morgan, but for some reason Blaze herself was on edge. She felt almost as though a storm was approaching but she couldn't prepare for it. The tiny hairs on her arms erected as did the same on her neck. Blaze felt the tension in the air, chaos was soon to go down, she sensed it. Turning her head at the neck, her eyes slide back onto Morgan. Her silhouette shimmered with the lighting from the full moon. Her ears perked up at the mention of the team as a deep frown cringed her features. **

"What do you mean things beyond your control Morgan? What aren't you telling me?"

** Blaze was always direct with Morgan, an asset most people never shared. Both questions were firm and to the point. The suspense was killing her but Morgan's riddled statement intrigued her. She needed to know more of this topic. Leaning back against the back of the couch, Blaze rested her head. Even in the darkness of the night, she felt more calm around Morgan than with Haleigh and Cameron. Everyone behaved differently, she knew. She made a mental note to meet Haleigh later for their business arrangements, but right now she was more concerned with the topic at hand. **

She is a danger to us all. and Alison...WE..you and I HAVE to protect her from Cameron and Haleigh...She does not REMEMBER finding out that Cameron is her brother....and Cameron and Haleigh intend to use that as leverage against her! I will NOT allow that to happen. I have already directed our security and anti personnell tracking and technology to monitor and survey them AT ALL TIMES ANYWHERE in this building...they will not be aware of this..and my buildings tech will monitor their every move and word and even their vital signs.

the reason why i cannot kill haleigh...or cameron leads directly to the next issue.

somethings happening to me Blaze....i'm changing...ever since i activated my link to Limbo....traveling there...spending time there....things have begun to change! <<the thunder grow louder in its rumbling>>

Ororo ...said that i could begin a progression...similar to that of my alternate, Darkchilde..the magicks and dark power of limbo corrupting me to the point that i lose myself in darkness.....she is trying to help me....she HERSELF is an example...but she stole her soul BACK from Belasco.....as did Darkchilde.

But ....i dont know if im STRONG enough.....for all my power...my bitterness, my distrust of men...my hatred of cameron and haleigh as well as my distrust of them....ALL prevent me from truly overcoming this...and if i do not heed Ororo's words and LEARN....

** Sitting in a stupor, Blaze couldn't believe what she just heard. This news was unnerving to the usual sensible attitude Blaze carried about her. Her mind fluttered with inklings and connections to Morgan's own agitated outburst earlier. Shifting her weight on the couch, Blaze now understood Morgan's sudden altered consciousness. At least now she was prepared in a way, but at the mention of Haleigh and Cameron, she was put on defense. Blaze knew her sister looked out for her, even mentoring her. But to demand she keep away was an obstacle Blaze couldn't do. Leaning closer to Morgan, Blaze shook her head. **

"Morg....I value your opinions, thoughts, and concern but I get a different feeling from the both of them. As selfish and self conceited they MAY be, I see human characteristics out of them. And Haleigh and I share much in common, especially a military background. I can't speak for her, my emotions are more rapid and passionate. But I know the torture and pain I suffered at the hands of my past and I know Haleigh went through a tragic ordeal. Now, I'm not making excuses for her...but there's a REASON why she's withdrawn and somewhat aloof. Like you, there is a heart from her and if anyone can sense it, its me."

"I've spoken with Cameron on a professional level or affairs of the six. What I do know is...he doesn't trust anyone but himself and even Haleigh and Vivica. The cause of this I'm not sure, but what I can see is he does care for Alison. I think she provokes him and he retorts with that macho bravado of his. To me, he's not a bad person and I think if he wasn't so pompous all the time, then perhaps he would be easier to befriend. I find him mysterious and alluring, not to mention attractive in a suit. He does what he can to survive even if it requires some backstabbing and lying here and there."

** Noticing Tink, Blaze scooped her up onto the couch. Placing the Siamese cat on her lap while gently stroking her silky soft fur. Blaze was careful to choose her words carefully, if she did say the wrong sentence, Morgan would lash out and that would cause an altercation, something Blaze detested. **

"I also believe your blood lust to kill the both of them is part of your link to Limbo. A world where demons and beasts run free until their beloved Queen returns. What you fail to see, what's happening now is....you're already losing your soul. The Morgan I know and love may detest a few individuals but she never threatens to kill them. I think its a bad decision and I feel like your darkness is taking in control of you. Ororo you said once was robbed of her soul, you must FIGHT this Morgan! If not for yourself then for me."

** Reaching over with both her hands, Blaze wrapped them warmly around Morgan's smooth pale hands. Emerald locking with violet, a look both often shared. Taking a deep breath, Blaze was still in shock. **

"Please Morgan....leave Cameron and Haleigh alone. I sense the good in them and my blood hasn't been tainted. You can be suspicious of them but we need them, whether you want to admit it or not. And as I said I'm becoming close with Haleigh. I know its difficult for you to let others in, I accept that. But as you once told me.....control your impulses otherwise it'll be your downfall. If I went around burning everyone on my shit list, then there would be a whole hell of a lot of people in this world gone, including that awful President who runs our country. What I'm trying to say is....this killing desire you possess is sucking you in already...."

** Her words slowly faded to just above a whisper. This news frightened Blaze Fielding. She knew her sister could possibly kill both her teammates. If it all came down to it, Blaze would battle her sister if she became utterly destructive, even if it meant dying. The world rested on their shoulders, on the six. Whether they enjoyed it or not, they were required to be connected as a team, just as the X - Men were. And Blaze needed everyone on this team, including Haleigh and Cameron. **

HE WOULD!

Do you think that EITHER of them truly respects you? The only reason Haleigh agreed to help ME rescue you was so that SHE could eliminate MysTech as a rival to Clandestine Intelligence...she didnt care about you, me OR this city!

<<it was clear that Morgan was realizing that her magickal heritage afforded her things that would make it DANGEROUS for Cameron, Haleigh or any other of her enemies to underestimate her>>

If they cross me Blaze...if they jeopardize you, alison or anyone that i care about....i may NOT be responsible for my actions. :: Cameron looked at Rachel as she began to tell her story of why Mystech was even after her in the first place. He couldn't believe she was actually standing there in front of him. He had gotten out of the Citadle with just barely his life as a consolation prize and yet here she was, alive and well. Prophet decided it was time to check this woman out as he pushed out with his mind, entering hers. At first he didn't even detect her on his scale, which was much how it was with Alison and Morgan, but suddenly, their minds connected as images of Rachel performing surgeries on humans. Images of her crying her eyes out at night due to her work. The night she defied Mystech, she had nearly escaped Shadow Demons. It all checked out. She was telling the truth. Cameron seemed extremely relieved. He rubbed her back as she began to cry softly in her hands. He felt so bad for her. Surely there was something he could do to help. She looked up at him with her big brown doe eyes and asked to meet the rest of the group. Cameron was nervous about that. ::

"Rachel.. I, I don't know if right now is the best time to meet the group. I mean there was just a LOT of tension with some of the other members of the Six and I just don--"

:: Prophet looked at her as she began to cry again. He had to do something. They were the Six and they didn't stop being the Six when some of the members were fighting. Otherwise they would have never stuck together in the first place. He took Rachel by the hand and tried to console her, telling her that it was worth a shot. ::

"You know what.. I am going to see what I can do... Hold on, I just need to contact the right people about this..."

:: Cameron began to scan Illustra until Blaze came on his radar. Tracking her much like she did other people only using his mind, he was about to notify her of Rachel. He would have to be careful. Blaze had been tortured by Mystech both physically and mentally and he didn't want to scare her or cause some sort of Mental Terror in his head. As she was talking to Morgan in the Top Penthouse, Cameron whispered softly in her head. It was a soothing voice and one that she would not be afraid of. He told her of his discovery. ::

"Look, I know this isn't the best time right now. But on the ground floor of Illustra, I met someone who needs the Protection of the Six. An ex-doctor of Mystech. I know it sounds shady, but I did a mental scan and she is telling the truth. I need her to meet the rest of the group. I am calling an emergency meeting of the Six. I am heading back up there. I know it might be stressful but we still have work as a group to do. I will notify Haleigh to meet me up there in a few minutes..."

:: Cameron looked back at Rachel ::

"I just let Blaze know ahead of time so she will prep Morgan for the meeting.. I just have to get one more person..."

:: Opening the Telepathic Link he had with Haleigh once more as he had done countless times since their caper in the Citadle, he whispered in her mind, letting her know about the plans for the meeting. ::

"Hales, you're gonna love me for this one. Group Meeting. Top Penthouse. Be there in a few minutes.. I have just made a startling discovery...PLEASE be there..."

:: Turning back to Rachel ::

"Well that should do it.. Come on now... let's go..."

:: Cameron and Rachel got into the elevator as Cameron pressed the button for the top floor of Illustra. As the elevator raced up the floors, Prophet began to prep Rachel for her first meeting with the interesting lot known as the Six. He looked at her and sighed. ::

"Okay.. I won't sugar coat it. Most of the members of the Six are very conceited and arrogant. All about respect. All of us just got into a huge fight so I am putting myself on the line for you. So hopefully this will go smooth and we can think of a game plan.. Just remember don't be scared, no matter what you see..."

:: The elevator dinged as they were Immediately illuminated by the Mystic Flame that rose covering the Penthouse doors as Cameron used his Telekinetic Powers to "knock" on the doors, before whispering back to Blaze and taking a deep breath. ::

"Ok, Blaze... it's showtime...."

Haleigh took her suit jacket off and slung it over the back of a bar stool. She pulled out of hr shoulder harness, setting the gun on the counter. She unbuttoned her shirt, revealing the light pink tank top underneath but left it on, stiring her food and then reaching for a plate and utensils. She shoveled food onto her plate and moved to the bar, pouring herself some red wine and sitting down to eat. She took a sip of wine and decided to check on Spellbinder. While upstairs, she'd placed a very small and discreet listening device on the underside of the arm of the sofa when no one was looking. there was listening equipment in her study.... but she was getting pretty efficient in her manipulative powers... she didnt need to go in there to listen. she turned the equipment on with her mind and set the volume. She put a finger to her ear as she took another bite, chewing slowly and quietly. She listened to vacuuming... and then voices, which got clearer and she realized it was Blaze and Spell. They were talking about her and Cameron.

Wow... that woman surely has a fixation on us. She thought. Morgan wasted no time, bad-mouthing them right away... she was always trying to turn Blaze against them.... and Blaze was always trying to defend them. Haleigh felt Morgan was overstepping boundaries when she suggested Blaze stay away from her... Who the fuck was she, her mother? what, did she think Haleigh was a bad influence? Had she even MET Blaze yet? Haleigh nearly spit out her wine... The evil that hovers around ME?! BITCH Victoria is one to talk.... she's the one fighting the evil that is writhing INSIDE her. At least I'm up front about it. Haleigh grimaces... Morgan had an awfully SKEWERED view of things... and her memory seemed a little FUZZY.

If it HAD been for Alison... Cameron and I'd both be dead... she just couldn't hold us down. Nor could those Ant Lions or Imagiomg or Dr. Chandler... Alison deserves any FUCKING abuse Cameron gives her.... and more... hell, he's too SOFT on her... if she were MY sister.... i'd still fuckin kill her.... i just might make it quick. GRATEFUL? WHAT, pray tell, have we to be Grateful for?? Grateful for Morgan abandoning our group in the beginning, or for Alison setting us up and leaving us for dead?

Haleigh fed Echo a strip of sauteed steak. He'd been sitting there silently, with big ole puppy dog eyes, watching her fork go from her plate to her mouth each time, begging the whole time... and now Delta saw she was getting generous and came over as well. She gave a scrap to the Blue Dobe to be fair, still 'eavesdropping'. Haleigh couldnt deny WHY she went into the Citadle... she hadn't tried to cover it up either. She was a heartless self-involved bitch who would only do something if it benefitted HER... and she saw no need to disillusion anyone about it. But how could she care about a person she'd never met? How could she even care about Morgan, who she'd met that very morning? And why the fuck WOULD she care about the people in a city that didn't give a fuck if she lived or died? Haleigh was many years beyond trying to save the world... she was many a pain and sacrifice beyond caring about the innocent. That didn't mean she and Blaze hadn't connected since then...

Haleigh finished her food and separated the steak stirfry into two separate piles and set the plate down for the dogs. She wiped her mouth with a silk napkin embrodiered in the corner with "H.D." and finished her glass of wine. when the dogs were done she lifted the plate from the floor and put the dishes in the sink. She went into her study, taking her shoulder harness and weapon with her. So... she was being watched carefully? in case she what? Was Morgan afraid she was making enemies that could take her unawares if they weren't watched? Oh Miss Victoria.... if ONLY you knew...

Haleigh pulled on a book and suddenly the entire bookcase sprung to life, sliding sideways and revealing a hidden room stocked ceiling to floor and wall to wall with guns on racks. Handguns and AK carbines on one wall, shotguns and ammo on another. Various accessories such as harnesses and holsters on hooks of the third wall, shelves beneath them with silencers and laser sights, scopes and mounting lights. The final wall, the one with the opening to enter the room, had more shelves, these had more ammunition, grenades, c4 and wiring, detonators, et cetera. Haleigh had enough here to storm the nearest military base with. She hung up her shoulder holster and took the gun out, ejecting the mag and clearing the chamber, manually reinserting the unused round into the magazine. She put the handgun in its spot on the wall, and placed the clip on the shelf by the ammo, it was down three rounds.

She turned the light out and almost closed the bookcase back over it when Cameron's voice stopped her. Wonderful. Just fucking peachy fucking keen. This better be DAMN good Stud. DONT you dare ask me to be civil with her again... if she pulls another stunt like that... well... SOMEONE better advise her not to. She sighed and went back into the room, turning the light back on and getting two H&K USP handguns. she loaded a magazine in each and pulled the slide back to put a bullet in each chamber. She selected a black leather shoulder harness and holstered both guns, sliding it over her open button down. She doesn't bother to get her suit jacket to conceal the weapons, just leaves the room and lets it close behind her, and then walks out of her study and through her living room, passing into the foyer and telling her dogs not to wait up lovingly. She walks out into the hallway, closing the door behind her. She looks up at the surviellance camera that is watching her. She flips it a bird and gets into the elevator. It dings twices and once more as it opens, and she steps out, looking like the girl next door except that she's armed and dangerous. she gives Rachel a suspicious look, eyeballing her and then locking eyes with Cameron. She didn't care if her first impression on this girl was cold and abrasive, she doesnt make any attempt to obscure the handguns from the girl's view. The girl seemed upset... and Haleigh didn't give a damn. It was the truth... and Haleigh was only curious as to WHY Cameron was bringing some new girlfriend to an impromptu Six meeting...

"She's far too young for you Cameron. PLEASE don't tell me this blonde girl is your startling discovery."

"You have my word Morgan, if anything gets out of hand I'll take them to your mother's."

** Blaze's word was always true, and she always kept her promises. A woman of her word, she knew things would only become chaotic but for now she had to accommodate to the swing of things. She didn't bother to argue with Morgan, she saw an increase in her agitation and knew it was better to let it go. She wouldn't leave Haleigh or Cameron, she was after all a grown woman to make her own decisions. And right now Blaze felt Morgan wasn't NOT making a clear decision. Her eyes followed Tink who moved to another portion of the couch when she heard Cameron's voice inside her head. She knew his voice and he sounded genuine about this meeting. The problem was getting Morgan to agree to this. Running a hand through her hair, smoothing through a couple of curls. Standing up, Blaze turned to her sister. **

"As always Morgan, I enjoyed this discussion even if it does frighten me. I want you to know, you can always come to me. However I was just informed by Cameron that he has a contact who needs our help. He's coming here to meet with us to discuss the details. This is strictly Six business, so I need you to at least listen. Then from there you can do whatever, he'll be arriving shortly."

** Blaze glanced down at her watch, she had to at least warn her sister so she wouldn't be alarmed. But somehow the chances of her behavior becoming more inviting were slim to none. Leaving Morgan alone, Blaze moved towards the door after she heard Cameron signify he had arrived. She replied back to him, knowing he could read her mind. **

Okay, I've informed Morgan but be warned, she's not in the best mood and I have NO control over her. She's very on edge and highly defensive, so....be careful.

Haleigh waited for a response... but they were interrupted when Morgan threw a temper tantrum and blasted the doors open, nearly bowling Cameron and his guest over. Haleigh stood a few feet behind them, and was just blown by a little wind.

"Oh yeah, she's in a GREAT mood. There should be a sign over this door that says 'Insane Asylum.'"

Haleigh stepped past them, a steely glare in her eyes. She smiled at Blaze and walked past her into the living room where Morgan gave her the look of death warmed over... Her smile turned smug. She almost WANTED Morgan to accost her.... and seemed to dare it nearly, though she said not a word. Tinkerbell hissed again... Haleigh paid the cat no heed. She didn't take her eyes off Morgan, but seated herself in the armchair across from the sofa Morgan was perched on. Haleigh crossed her legs at the knee... and waited. She wanted to tell Morgan that she could SHOW her a security risk... but she would abide by the 'rules of engagement'... FOR NOW.

Haleigh felt her handguns leave her and grit her teeth... those were expensive... but it wasn't as if they were her only ones... or as if she couldn't get more. Her smile left for a second and then returned as a manipulative smirk. She too stared back at Morgan, their eyes locked. Cameron, Rachel and blaze all shuffled in, but Haleigh didn't look up or even seem to know they were in the room... as she gave Morgan a haughty, perpetual glare.

"I think it amusing that YOU think you are safer... and I find it interesting that you thought you were in danger in the first place. What are you so paraniod about? You didn't fear I was going to SHOOT you, did you?"

She baited... the meeting hadn't even started... Rachel hadn't even introduced herself... and Morgan and Haleigh were already looking like they were going to seriously injure each other. It was round two for the day... and after what haleigh'd heard about Morgan's limbo 'disease' of sorts... she was kind of wondering whether it'd be so bad to have Morgan become homicidal and sociopathic, JUST LIKE HALEIGH.... try to point the finger THEN, she'd say.

** Gritting her teeth, Blaze struggled with her wildfire temper, which by now was boiling to the surface. Especially with Morgan's "sleeping" with Cameron comment. Shutting her eyes tightly while holding her breath. She WANTED to retort back to Morgan but she knew it would only add more wood to the fire. Instead she completely ignored Morgan and her childish behavior. Her hair whipped around as a huge gust of wind thrusted open the door, nearly knocking Cameron and his contact over. Her eyes locked onto Rachel, and it was Blaze who began to feel a deep connection with her but why? Nodding to Haleigh, Cameron, and their guest. Closing the door behind them, Blaze followed the others into the living room where Haleigh and Morgan were engaging in their bitchery. **

"So, Cameron tells me you need our help. I'm Blaze Fielding and that's Morgan Victoria next to me."

** Blaze was slightly suspicious especially someone from MysTech. She moved to sit down next to Rachel, secretly using her senses to reveal her true intentions. But what Blaze received was a woman who was genuinely true and in need of help. Blaze moved her eyes to look at the mysterious woman, she had sensed in a way she was lonely. **

"Don't worry we'll help you....you won't be alone on this one."

** Blaze's eyes never leaving Rachel's, she had completely toned out Haleigh and Morgan. It seemed as though she had put both of them on mute. Her attention was held by this mysterious woman, who was stunningly beautiful. Her eyes landed onto Cameron, who would explain more of the details of the situation. Rachel seemed like a vulnerable woman and for some reason Blaze began to feel as though she needed to protect her. Even though she didn't know her, the girl's emotions called out to Fox, who couldn't deny them or those piercing eyes of hers. **

:: Cameron was blasted back by the gust of winds as it deactivated the Warding spell and let them enter the Penthouse. He squeezed Rachel's hand and told her to be careful especially the way that Morgan was acting at the moment. ::

"Just let's get through this.. it shouldn't take that long..."

:: Though what Cameron had originally planned to be nothing more than a simple meeting discussing on what things to do about Rachel and what plan of action to take, the idea was sideswiped by Morgan and Haleigh and their incessant bickering which was accomplishing about as much as a snail would in a 10k race. He walked through the Foyer and completely ignored them as he sat Rachel down on the couch with Blaze to discuss some things, while Cameron went back over to Haleigh. Completely ignoring Morgan or any comment or action she had to say, Prophet looked back at Haleigh and sighed. ::

"Hales.. just drop some of the weaponry and let's get this over with. Jesus Christ, you would think when something IMPORTANT actually came along you would stop the bickering for more than a minute..."

:: Cameron entered the living room and began to talk to Blaze who seemed to be the only person interested in anything that was going on. Prophet introduced Rachel and explained her dilemma of what was going on. ::

"Dr. Rachel Gray used to be one of the Head Doctor's in the experimental surgery department, forced into doing crude and horrific surgeries, she had planned to leak a lot of information to the Public, but as her plan went into action, Mystech put a mark on her head. For the past two weeks she has been running from Shadow Demons, Agents, the Works.. You may not believe it, but I have done a mental scan on her, the story checks out as does everything else. I think it is only our job to protect her as we find out who wants her dead in the first place and take them out, or at least offer her a safe haven in Illustra until we can figure out what to do..."

Tinkerbell had gotten up...her ears alert...as she quickly trots along behind Morgan...and is now looking at the woman as well with her blue eyes.....she turns her ears back a bit as she cranes her neck...and sniffs the air...she senses something.>>

<<in an icy voice>>: there will be NO sanctuary granted unless I approve it. just WHO are you ...and how is it that you got past my security at the perimeter of this building? I trust Cameron's judgement about as much as i would trust Helen Kellar to design an evening dress for me...

<< she glared down at the woman unforgivingly.....as thunder continued to rumble in the air...and winds howled intermitently. Spellbinder awaited this woman's response....Morgan savage, hostile nature was now flowing uninterrupted...but it was NOTHING compared to what would come in due time.....The Six were in danger....both from within AND without...and the real enemy was not who it might seem. Tinkerbell seems agitated ...as she is now making low growling sounds...and her ears are back. Oh, I'mma drop something alright... I'mma drop an anvil on that fucking cat if it doesnt stop fussing at me. DONT chide me Cameron King.... i've had it with this woman and her superiority complex. She's as bad as WE are.... and SOMEONE needs to take her at her measure... I can see that's going to be me... and I wouldn't have it ANY other way.

Haleigh turned her attention on the girl again... without a word. she felt something was fishy here... but Cameron was the telepath, and he was so sure... still... she couldn't shake the feeling that there was more that this woman wasnt telling them... but she waited for the girl to speak to get a better gauge of her.

- "Rachel" looked at the group, secretly laughing to herself inside. This was going to be so much easier than she thought. She looked at the Six, each one of them seemed to want to murder the others where they stood. As Kelly watched the movement and actions of Spellbinder she could only pat herself on the back. Her spell had more than worked. Kelly watched Morgan as the fire with inside her burned brightly. She was burning the candle at both ends, and would soon erupt. Kelly herself had come close many years ago. One thing was for sure, Kelly admired the Witch's words and moxy. They were more alike than Kelly was willing to admit. Still when Morgan baragged her with questions and accusations, "Rachel" somewhat jumped back, her eyes filling with tears as she shook her head and tried to regain her stance and composure. Kelly should have won an Oscar for her performance. Rachel continued. -

"I.. I am sorry.. Cameron brought me up the Penthouses, I didn't break in. I was in the main lobby. I was going to ask to speak to you directly, Ms. Victoria, but I found Cameron in the lobby and went to him.. I am sorry.. My name is Dr. Rachel Gray. I was a Doctor for Mystech who was forced to perform experimental surgeries and experiments against my will, until I threatened to expose them. They put out a bounty on my head and for the past three days, I have been running from Shadow Demons and other Agents. The only reason I came to you all, is because you are the only people to ever defy Mystech and escape with your lives.. I have money if that's what you want.. I just want protection until I can get out of the country. I know they will attack again. I don't even know if I will be safe in a different country, but.. that's not your concern.. I just.. don't want to die from their hand..."

- Sitting back in the chair she had been placed in, Kelly began to asess the group, trying to figure the way out to best manipulate them, to get them on her side. Cameron and Haleigh would be the easiest. She would have to simply stroke their egos every chance she got. Blaze had a very high emotional awareness and Kelly had already worked on jamming that, using potions on herself to have the only emotions seep out of her be despair, sorrow and lonliness. Morgan should be held at bay for awhile due to Kelly's previous spell, but she would need to do some GREAT convincing to keep that guise up. She didn't see Alison anywhere and decided that the less Alison saw of "Rachel", the better of a chance she would have to keep her cover. All she needed was the door to go into and she would have them all in the palm of her hand and eating each other alive. This was just perfect. "Rachel" continued briefly. -

"Please.. all I ask for is Sanctuary..."

Seriously, if she could turn out a woman who was in this desperate of a need for help, she was even MORE long gone than Cameron had originally thought. He noticed that Alison wasn't in the room. - "Rachel" jumped up and down with excitement. Kelly was excited as well. She had just worked the Six's fearless leader into a puddle of mud. And now it was time to walk all over her. These miserable peons were never going to forget her name. She ran up and shook Morgan's hand tightly as tears filled in her eyes. "Rachel" seemed so grateful and happy that everyone in the room seemed to feel happy for her. She let go of her and turned around and stop crying for a moment as she looked at the Six with a look of great appreciation. -

"You honestly don't know what this means to me.. thank you. Anything you need. I mean anything. Just ask and I will do it. I owe my life to you all, literally.. I don't mean to babble on and on I just mean.. Well you know, I am so happy!"

- Inside, Kelly was dying with pride. The Six would soon be no more and all at her hands. Everything would run smoothly just as long as their were no bumps on the road. Rachel looked back at Morgan and thanked her once more. -

"Thank you again.. Morgan. I don't have any luggage.. Kind of traveling light these days ya know? What happens if something attacks me while I am here?"

"FUCK your money... do we look like we're broke to you?"

She said abrasively. She looked at each of the group, wondering why they were so eager to help this woman... she got sidetracked by Morgan's response to Alison's absence.

"Oh, she needs to recover something alright. Her bloody memory... Nah, because she's DISTURBED enough as it is."

Haleigh listened as Spellbinder stopped bombarding Rachel and gave her a place to stay. Haleigh still felt uneasy... she would have this Rachel Gray looked into. Having worked for Mystech.... there probably wouldn't be any records at all... but it was worth a go. for now... she need to put the brakes on this welcoming committee.

"Whoa, Wait a minute, wait a minute, everybody just chill the fuck out. Rachel, if you would excuse us... we need to discuss this privately between us four."

Even her jaw line was tight with a couple of her blue veins protruding. The more Morgan spoke, the less she found herself admiring her sister. Haleigh springs to her feet with machine-like speed, as Morgan unleashes on Blaze.... seconds ago, she'd been rooting blaze on, for straight up calling her sister out. She helped Blaze to her feet, looking at the crack in the sheetrock wall.

"ARE YOU FUCKING PSYCHOTIC?"

Haleigh turned as Blaze got to her feet... she stared at Morgan wideeyed... it was the ONLY time she'd ever been surprised at Morgan's actions. Hitting Haleigh or Cam could be expected... but her OWN sister? something was very WRONG.... and at the worst possible time, with rachel standing right there.

:: Cameron watched in horror as Blaze confronted Morgan about the night's events. He almost winced as he could TELL something was about to happen between the two that nobody was going to expect. Sure enough, Morgan exploded as she unleashed a punch on Blaze, cracking her jaw before sending her flying across the room. Cameron told Rachel to wait in the kitchen until things settled down so that she wouldn't be in any danger before he looked at Morgan with a "What the Fuck?" look before commenting on the entire situation, almost looking DOWN upon her. She may have been pretty tall, but Cameron was the one staring HER down in this instance as he looked at her with utter disdain. ::

"Like Father, Like Daughter.. EH Morgan? Only this time I guess you will be scooping your own sister off of the floor instead of your mother. Funny how things change? REAL Classy Morgan.. REALLY Classy.."

:: Turning his back to her he looked at Blaze as he and Haleigh helped her get back to the ground, knowing that she probably didn't want to seem like she needed help right now, but it was the least they could do. Morgan was going crazy. It was just something strange about her now. This wasn't MORGAN. It was like a Morgan energy drink.. All the rage and hate without any heart to tie her down. Cameron smugged at her as he commented once more. ::

"Now.. I am going to take Rachel back to my Penthouse until the guest quarters are ready.. Try not to blame HALEIGH for your own issues while I'm gone, eh?"

:: Cameron had no time to react as he was blasted with the Eldritch Bolt and sent flying back into the hallway, left only in his underwear and unconscious on the hallway floor as the others were teleported into the hall as well. As Cameron was now unconscious, he couldn't even communicate Telepathically with anybody. He was only left to lie there on the floor until the others would pick him up and get him back to his apartment so that they could keep an eye on him. ::

** Standing on edge, Blaze could feel the tension mounting as the seconds passed. Swallowing a bit of her nervous energy, she didn't bulge in her tracks. However in boldly stating her opinion she would suffer for it, dearly. Carefully she watched her sister, she expected her to respond back verbally not physically. As quick and powerful as lightning Blaze was caught in the jaw by a brutal punch. She couldn't even scream from the intense pain while her body was violently hurled back, smashing into the wall. Her back slamming into it, already leaving a nasty bruise. And her jaw was broken which throbbed with tremendous pain but Blaze FOUGHT the tears that threatened to escape, she wouldn't allow herself to be seduced by her raw emotion. Slumping down the wall, she hunched over to the side. Although she was conscious, she didn't move a meter. It was a mix of shock and pain that stopped her from struggling to get up. Blood seeped its way down her lips, dripping onto the carpet. She couldn't believe Morgan had just assaulted her, she wanted to believe it was a Shadow Demon again but it was the real and true Morgan Victoria. Just as Haleigh and Cameron helped her up, Blaze made no attempt to pull away, a factor that surprised both Prophet and Black Widow. Leaning onto Haleigh's shoulder, Blaze completely avoided eye contact. Her jaw ached beyond words and she didn't dare to move it but in her mind, Morgan's words echoed in her mind. What they had discussed together in private. Perhaps this were the events Ororo warned Morgan of? **

** Blaze almost resembled a broken soldier with how dull her sage green eyes were. They no longer contained that passionate sparkle. They slowly moved onto Morgan, a look of hurt evident but Blaze knew Morgan wouldn't have mercy or compassion. In a matter of seconds, everyone was kicked out of Morgan's penthouse, including Blaze. Once they were outside, she wiped the fresh liquid from her lips. Turning to the side, she spit out the blood from her mouth. But using a bit of her muscles caused Blaze to cry out in utter agony. Even though her healing factor was working, healing a bone was a much longer process. And there were no remedy for the pain. Holding onto Haleigh, Blaze looked at her friend just once until her eyes moved to the ground again. Haleigh could see Blaze was vulnerable right now and for good reason. Collapsing onto her knees, she pressed both her palms onto the ground, a bit of her hair falling into her face. She seemed to handle the pain well but it was the betrayal of Morgan that sliced a knife through her heart. Blaze just needed to rest but what about Cameron? He had been hit with some sort of Eldritch bolt, he would need their help. But Blaze didn't have the energy, she would have to count on Haleigh. Using hand signals, Blaze communicated with Haleigh to help Cameron. **

The fact that Blaze didn't fight being helped was alarmingly telling... and Haleigh can do naught but watch as Cameron is struck down next. Hales, almost certain it is now her turn, instinctively -- and strangely uncharacteristically-- moves to shield Blaze from Morgan. Its a move of protection that Haleigh mightve done YEARS ago... but in the moment she works on pure adrenaline and impulse, and for some reason she doesnt want Blaze to get hit twice with the wrath of Morgan. Hales stands her full height, even with Blaze leaning on her, as she braces herself for Morgan's next blow... but it never comes, THANKFULLY... as if they'd ALL been knocked off their feet... Rachel couldve just murdered them all in the hall, which is where they all appeared next. It was the second time of the day Haleigh'd escaped Morgan's penthouse unscathed.... and just barely so. Haleigh looked at the girl... no words... just a 'you and i were lucky not to get any of that--trust me' look... She grimaces as Blaze tries to spit and instead cries out, and she wraps her arm around fox's waist and looks at her jaw, touching it tenderly.

"Okay, don't DO that... just hang on... lets get you back to my place.... yes... i see him--dont speak."

Haleigh walks blaze over to the opening elevator, stopping as they pass Cameron to take him by one ankle and drag him along into the elevator.

"You two, Dr. Gray."

Haleigh was still skeptical about this girl... something was amiss... but she couldnt place it and didnt have the time to waste right now trying. It was a short elevator ride down two stories and Haleigh pulled Cameron into the hall and let him rest there, guiding Blaze to her door and opening it, telling Rachel to follow. As soon as the door opened Echo and Delta came scampering in to greet them... but suddenly they stopped, low growling emitting from their throats... the hair on their back rising on end. Echo protectively barked. H didnt realize they were reacting to Rachel... she didnt have the state of mind to listen to them right now... She put her fingers to her mouth and whistled loudly, calling their attention. They immediately stopped and sat down, looking at Hales.

"Delta, Echo, cut that out! Delta... I need an ice pack. Echo, back up."

Delta left for the kitchen and Echo scooted out of the way as Haleigh took Blaze to the sofa and sat her down. Delta was back quickly as haleigh looked B's jaw over. It was already healing up... but it looked painful and blood was everywhere. Haleigh took off her white button-down... the shoulder and left arm of which was no longer white but red with Blaze's blood. She handed it to Blaze to help soak up some of the blood. Haleigh looked at Rachel, who stood in the archway from the foyer to the living room just kind of watching and not daring to move because Echo sat feet away baring his teeth.

"You-- [pointing to Rachel] sit there. STAY right there." She said firmly, pointing to an armchair that was right across the coffee table, adjacent to a matching black leather love seat. Echo followed her and made sure she'd stay put. Haleigh turned back to blaze... She seemed concerned... it was almost as if EVERY one of the six was revealing sides of themselves that the others hadnt yet seen tonight... and it was a sign none of them would recognize in the craze of things. "Blaze... apply steady pressure with this... itll hurt like hell... but do it anyway." She said, pressing as soft gel ice pack to her jaw. "I'll be right back."

Haleigh went back out into the hall.... Cameron still lay there in his underwear, knocked out cold. Hales pursed her lips... what had HAPPENED up there? They'd always been on edge... but Morgan was usually the last to resort to violence... and against BLAZE? Haleigh lifted Cameron from the floor, cradling him in her arms like he weighed as much as Tinkerbell probably did. She brought him into the penthouse, as Delta responsibly nosed the front door shut. It seemed strange to see Haleigh, fair skinned and physically lean, carrying this full grown man as though he were weightless. She set him gently on the love seat, pulling the dark red woven throw from the back and draping it over his lower half. She went into the kitchen and got a small navy blue wash cloth, wetting it and coming back, perching on the edge of the love seat, wringing water onto his blackened face and wiping gently, trying to wake him. Haleigh looked over at Blaze... asking how it was healing, resorting to sarcasm to try to relieve the tension, which loomed over them all like smothering black smoke.

"Well THAT went well." Haleigh didnt smile... she knew nobody would want words right now... they were all so shocked... and though they didnt realize it... Rachel had REALLY come at an opportune time-- for her true intentions anyway. Hales said nothing to rachel... the LESS that girl knew the better. Delta went over to Blaze and softly rested her head in her lap, looking up at her, trying to comfort her... Echo was silently watching every breath Rachel took like a hawk... but BOTH canines could sense that now was the time to be silent.
