<< months have past since the Citadle caper. a deep seeded evil was eliminated, family bonds were restored while others were finally realized. changes were experienced by all involved....but one thing above all else became clear......Spellbinder, Shockwave, Black Widow, Prophet, Foxfire and Guardian were drawn together by design....and together, these unlikely protectors of the innocent have begun a new life.>>

<< winter gives way to spring.....and most of the members of The Six have now made their home in the newly restored world headquaters of Illustra, the globally known fashion/modeling/media company helmed by Morgan Victoria, who rose the ranks of Illustra as a celebrated signature super model to become a powerful media savvy business woman.>>

<< high atop the technological gem that is Illustra inc. there are now several floors completely sealed off from the general staff and public...these floors house state of the art luxury apartments....each reflecting the style of its resident. all those "private floors" are protected by state of the art security and anti personell devices along with the added boost of magick. within these levels of cushy luxury....The Six have now adjusted to a new lifestyle high above the hustle and bustle of NYC courtesy of Spellbinder's influence and financial holdings....allowing them now to pursue their individual lives with a renewed zeal as well as using their unique advantages and positions throughout the worlds of media, advertising, intelligence etc to help each other along the away>>

<< and so it begins....a new day after the storm>>

:: Stepping off the express elevator located in the Illustra building, Alexis was now on the floor of her new apartment. It wasn't exactly her cup of tea, living in Morgan's building and only feet away from these people, but after what they had all gone through; everything that was said and done, a part of Alexis did know it was the best solution. It was pretty early for Alexis to be off of work, but hell, she ran Tempo...she could take off work any time she wanted. And that's what she did today. Walking up to her apartment door, the meta human was decked out in a typical looking buisness suite (http://www2.victoriassecret.com/images/prodlgvw/V245638.jpg), but of course..never TOO plain...Alexis loved to sex up her outfits, and with this particular one, she only wore a black bra with gold trim under her sleek orange jacket. Yes, people wouldn't think this was much a professional attire, but she didn't care...it was hot, and she was hot in it. ::

:: Reaching her apartment door, Alexis placed her black leather breif case down next to her and removed her black Gucci purse off her shoulder to retrieve her keys. Letting a small yawn escape her lips, her slender fingers took ahold of her apartment key and pulled it from the bag, soon to open her apartment door. Walking into her apartment, Athena, her black Great Dane, greated her as usual, then went back to her usual buisness--sleeping the day away. Throwing her keys, purse, and breif case aside, her new apartment was very beautiful...almost as breathtaking as her first apartment. The sun shined through her "wall" full of floor to cieling windows, lighting the apartment in the most beautiful way. Walking to the window, she stood crossing her arms, looking at the city below. ::

:: After that horrid night in The Citadle, Alexis had change a bit...she was still the normal catty, premadonna, headstrong, bitch that graced the company of The Six, but she had sofened a bit. It wasn't something she was too proud of..but she was only human---well sort of. She hated to admit it, but Adam effected her deeply...his last words, his last breath. Just his company period. She knew he was gone permenently...but that night alone just unsettled Alexis to no end. Taking a deep breath in--trying to rid her mind of these thoughts-- she turned away from the window and headed back to the door of her apartment to grabed her purse. Reaching inside, she took out her silver Cingular flip phone and began to scroll through the numbers in her phonebook. Finally reaching the number she desired, she pressed "call" and put it up to her ear. Slowly making her way to her chocolate colored sued couch, she plopped down listening to the ringing on the other end of the phone. Resting her head back, her enchanting blue eyes stared at the cieling before she closed the cellphone, disconnecting the call. Throwing her phone next to her on the couch, she closed her eyes, and began to rest. ::

:: Cameron sat within the Home Office of his newly furnished and remodeled apartment on one of the top floors of Illustra Inc. He never thought that in a million years he would have pictured himself living in New York firstly and with anyone from the Six secondly. After their battle at the Citadle, it seemed that things had begun to change. Cameron found almost all of his time had been dedicated to either someone or something to do with the Six and he thought for a moment he might even like some of them, but that was most likely due to something bad he had eaten that day. There was no way in hell he could possibly LIKE any of them. The only person he considered an ally here was Haleigh Davidoff. Ever since the Citadle, the two had been spending a lot of time together. There relationship was very brother and sister like which somewhat saddened him. He was closer to this perfect stranger than he was with his own sister Alison. There were still so many things they had to talk about, but alas Alison was still in Ororo's Garden in Limbo and he didn't know when she was planning on returning. The only person who knew that was Morgan, and ever since the death of her father, she had been running around giving new definition to the word bitch. Her confidence had shot through the roof. He realizes that he had been lost in thought as he shook his head back to focus looking dead at his ex-assistant and now VICE President of King Enterprises, Vivica Lennox (http://www.papermag.com/magazine/mag_04/mag_jun_jul04/cover/images/banks01.jpg). The decision seemed necessary. Cameron had taught her everything he knew and with her own abilities mixed with her ability to smooth talk anybody, made her the perfect Vice President and would free up some of Cameron's time now that he was involved with everyone in the Six. Vivica looked him up and down and looked annoyed as she scolded Cameron for not paying attention. ::

Vivica: "Look, Cameron, I don't care WHAT you are thinking about right now, but in two days, we have a HOTEL Opening to go to. The New York Parthenon will open it's door to the Glitterati and Papparazzi and we still have MANY things to go over. Such as Public Relations, I have been talking to Ms. Victoria and she has been keeping up her end of the bargain. I talked to Ms. Quartermaine as well and we want that interview to go into Tempo, you need to schedule that. Do you understand? Not to mention we have to make sure we have the right security and the Health Codes are all up to standard. Two of the cooks are threatening to quit. I will not have it!

Cameron: "Vivica! I know we have things to do. Take a chill pill. Alexis was supposed to call me when she got home from work to schedule the interview. Obviously she hasn't but I will head down later and see her. I talked to the cooks and decided to increase their pay to keep them away from Trump, and as for security, I am sure Haleigh might be able to do something about that. It will be fine. You are doing a great job, but if you keep moving at this pace, you are gonna burn out! I'm sending you home for the day. You may be VICE President, but I am the KING of KING Enterprises. Go home, take a bath and relax.

:: Vivica sighed deeply as she nodded, grabbing her Louis Vitton Bag, and putting on her Chanel Glasses before heading out of the door. When Cameron heard the ding of the Elevator he let out a deep sigh himself. Two days and the Parthenon would be opening. It was going to be crazy. Cameron picked up his Cell Phone as he flipped the switch and simply said "2". The phone began to dial and it was directly to voicemail. At the beep he left a message. ::

"Hey Lex, it's me Cameron. I could just go up and check on you, but I am kind of tired. I hope you're feeling okay. Look.. we have to schedule that interview so anytime you're ready just give me a ring.. Good.. Goodbye.."

:: Cameron hung up the phone. He sounded so stupid. It wasn't his fault, he just didn't know how to react to what had happened between them about two weeks after the Citadle. Both of them were really confused. One thing led to another, and now everytime they were in the same room, it was extremely uncomfortable. He looked at his watch. The night was young. Maybe he should go ut. ::

** Pulse pounding dance music dominated Blaze's apartment. Thanks to Haleigh, Blaze was able to create another club entitled Hellfire! It was one of the hottest clubs around, bringing in so many fresh new faces. Along with Haleigh, it was Morgan who also chipped in as well, which pulled a lot of celebrity faces including P. Diddy, Usher, Madonna, Cher, and even M. J. Blige. Spinning around in her dance studio, Blaze purposely slide on her hardwood floors. Dropping down to a complicated dance move before rolling her body back, dipping it lower. **

** The sound of Amber played within the background, 'One more night,' an older song by the dance diva but a favorite for Blaze. Decked out in ripped jeans on the jeans with a black form sitting wife beater, Blaze was obviously more of the relaxed. Jumping to her feet, she continued to spin around. Walking over to her cheery wood coffee table, she reached for her water bottle, quenching her thirst. "Computer, drop volume to level 10 please."

** In another moment, the background music decreased in volume. Draping a white towel over her shoulder, Fox walk pasted her spacious crimson leather couch. Her style was always street and that's exactly how she enjoyed it. Only her dinning room and living room contained carpeting. Everything else was polished hardwood flooring. Large designer paintings hung around the sculptured sage walls. Centered within her living room held a plasma screen television on the mantle of a fireplace. Various book shelf's held horror novels and mysteries. **

** Cathedral ceilings adored Fox's kitchen, who was a huge fan of cooking and baking, which was difficult to believe for such a tomboy. "Midnight." Called Blaze, walking to the island in the kitchen. A meow was heard behind her fern plant before a pair of gray eyes were seen, causing Blaze to smile. "I know I told you not to eat my plants!" Crouching down, the black and white tabby came running. Four white feet with a partial white face with tiger stripes along his stomach region. Picking up her cat, Blaze stroked his fur while walking over to the counter, grabbing his fancy feast. A loud meow echoed throughout the kitchen, "yeah yeah, your not going to starve."

** After fixing Midnight his lunch, Blaze headed down the hallway, aroma therapy candles lined a few hutches. Filling the apartment with soft elegant fragrances. Walking inside to her bathroom, more marble filled this area as well. A shower was a must, opening the closet, dozens of shower gels, lotions, shampoos, conditioners, etc., filled several shelves. Eventually taking a shower. **

** Letting the hot water run down her neck, Blaze shut her eyes when suddenly she felt a pair of hands run along down her sides, resting on her waist. "Hey tiger." Called a feminine voice, who Blaze knew who it was. Smirking to herself, Blaze turned around to lock eyes with a brown eyed beauty with shoulder length hair. "Hey yourself." Winked Blaze who leaned in to kiss the another woman. Another fact, all of the members of the six knew about Blaze, her sexuality. She was openly bi -- sexual, but she never believed in relationships, not since her fiance who was killed years ago. Instead, Blaze opted for the "no strings" attached non sense. No one had ever been able to fill her heart and that's exactly the way she liked it. **

** Pulling the shower curtain open after an hour of "showering," Blaze toweled off glancing back at her lover, "I'm going out for a while." Carmen nodded, "all right, I need to head to the gym anyway." Blaze had no desire to get close with the people she slept with, it was her own form of protection, shielding her heart from heartache. Getting dressed, Blaze wore a pin striped power suit, but it wasn't her choice. Illustra did have a mandatory dress code and as the Senior Ad Campaign Manager, she had to. **

** Walking out of her place, her make up was soft and almost natural, drawing out her emerald eyes. And her hair was slicked back into a thick pony tail. Tucking several files under her arm, Blaze headed off towards the main floors. She had a couple of ideas for the latest ad, which she knew Morgan would enjoy to hear. **

<< within the multi level apartment on the TOP floor of Illustra Inc., soft humming could be heard....Morgan was in her large and spacious, cylindrical over head shower...lavishing herself with the purest vanilla essences as she cleansed and refreshed her satuesque body....steame drifted through the top of the massive shower chamber and through the cobalt blue parlour room...a soft warm breeze flowed through slightly opened sliding doors doors that led out to the large terrace over looking NYC from the most lofty of heights...the light sheer drapes billow and flow....as Morgan finally emerges pattern herself gently with luxor pima egyptian cotton towels.....she engages in a beauty ritual that leaves her skin as smooth and flawless as it ever was and refreshing her wintery elegance.>>

<< after a long day of press junkets promoting the much anticipated opening of The Parthenon...and ensuring that Illustra's models and agents are moving at full speed to continue to secure Illustra's reputation as THE fashion/modeling agnency on the east coast and across the pond on the high fashion circuit.....Morgan had made provisions for the rest of the Six to live in the newly redesigned private floors of Illustra...sparing no expense to provide state of the art luxury apartments for each person...designed to his/her specifications. She was sure they were not very greatfull....as most rabble would not appreciate anything they never had to earn...but she didnt think much about them....she was tired....having returned to her career in the fashion industry full throttle following the Citadle caper. Her father was destroyed...and she no longer had to look over her shoulder. Foxfire was alive and returned to her side.....and NYC had been restored thanks in large part to the assistance of her surrogate mother and beloved mentor, Ororo. >>

<< as she now lay her self down on her extremely large, circular bed in her chamber of dreams....the satin sheets felt so soft next to her rejuvinated skin....she sprawled out and exhaled. as she slowly emptied her mind of the events today...she thought of Alison....her dear friend, ally, confidant and head of operations at Illustra. She was still in Ororo's care...there was no safer place for her to be...but Morgan missed her friend very much>>

<< out in another area of the apartment...a soft tinkling bell sound is heard as Tinkerbell, Morgan's blue eyed seal point siamese cat scampered through the sunken in living room playing with a toy....this beautiful animal was Morgan's familiar.>>

:: Slamming her hands down in frustration, all Alexis could hear was music pounding from the apartment of Blaze Fielding. The music didn't even sound like it was down the hall...it seriously felt as if it was right in her own apartment. Opening her eyes, she sat up huffing out of frustration, ready to head over to Blaze's apartment and scream at her to shut the fucking music off. But luckily for the sparky firestarter, she turned it off. Lifting her hands up as if she was "praising the lord", she flopped back against the back of her couch, looking up to the ceiling. ::

"THANK YOU!"

:: Allowing her hands to drop back down onto the couch, she was ready to go back to her relaxed state before she heard yet another sound--this time a soft beeping coming from beside her. Alexis narrowed her eyes down at her tiny cell phone seeing a little green light blinking indicating she had a message. Letting out an annoyed sigh, she wasn't able to hear her phone ring because of Blaze's damn music...she seriously had to speak to that girl about this. Picking up the cell, Alexis pushed herself off of her comfortable sofa while putting the phone to her ear. Making her way through her livingroom, she walked into the kitchen heading straight for the fridge. Placing her hand on the handle, she stopped as she heard Cameron's voice...well, he sounded..nervous? Smirking, things had be a little tense between them since they..since a couple of weeks ago. As the message ended, Alexis closed her phone. Stepping away from her fridge, she leaned back against her island, thinking to herself. Biting her bottom lip, Alexis tapped the bottom of her phone gently on her thigh as she began to get an idea. ::

"Hmm..."

:: A soft chuckle could be heard as she placed her cellphone down upon her island's counter top and quickly made her way out of the kitchen and to her front door. Opening it, she walked out into the hall and gently closed the door behind her. Smirking as she saw Cameron's apartment down and across the hall, she began to make her way to his door. Parting her lips, Alexis gently ran her fingers through her chest length blonde hair before she gently knocked on his door. ::

<< day would soon turn to evening..as the skies rolled on..and the strong spring winds filled the air all around the city...Morgan, having an affinity for the air opened the doors to her terrace even wider to let the evening air rush in and flow all over her nude body. her penthouse was on the TOP floor of Illustra inc so she was above everyone else and blissfully unaware of what was going on or would may occurr....for the first time in months she was alone and at peace. As her blonde, double highlighted hair blew back from the wind....Morgan LAUGHED out loud...a rare thing indeed as she spun around, exhaled and made her way back to her extremely large circular bed. laying down upon the silver satin sheets, the recessed lighting began to dim giving way to darkness.>>

<< the little bell on Tinkerbell's collar could be heard as the sleek siamese trotted through the penthouse making her way to her "mother's" chamber of dreams...meowing a bit as she finally made it to the room..she hurridly made her way on the bed>>

hello little one. are you ready for bed too?

<< morgan softly rubbed tinkerbell's ears and forehead...causing tink to purr as she began to knead the spot where she would lay...the cat craned her neck a bit...smelling the night time air as it flowed into the room and all around...and as chimes played...she put her ears back a bit>>

its allright tink...nothing's amiss.

<< Morgan often slept with the doors to her terrace open...being at the top of the sky scraper it was highly unlikely she would come across any peeping toms and her warding spell placed on the two doors of her penthouse made it impossible for any physical access. The sorceress felt quite tranquil as both she and tinkerbell settled in for a serene nights sleep>>

:: Cameron had just gotten out of the shower when he heard the knock at the door. The plasma screens placed in different areas around the house went into Security Mode as they opened Camera 1 to see who was at the door. From the corner of his eye he saw Alexis and he stopped dead in his tracks. What should he do? Answer the door? Pretend he had stepped out? Pondering the thought for a moment he grabbed a towel as he headed for the door. Breathing heavily for a brief moment he opened it to see the form of Alexis Quatermaine. For whatever reason he seemed to get all of his confidence back at that moment as he stood there, soaking wet and smirked at her as he invited her inside for whatever it was she wanted. ::

"Hey, Lex. Long time no... See. If you will excuse me... Take a seat. I will be right out..."

:: As Alexis took a seat on one of the white plush couches that was placed near one of the large city view windows, Cameron began to head for his bedroom. As Alexis peaked her head just around the corner she saw Cameron just as he dropped the towel and closed the door, getting a nice view of his entire bare backside. A few moments later, Cameron returned wearing a pair of black silk pajama bottoms and a dark black wifebeater. He sat down on the couch next to Alexis and smiled looking at her, pretending that everything between them was just peachy keen. ::

"So, what brings you to my neck of the woods at this time of night?"

:: The lavish bar behind Alexis and Cameron began to stir as Cameron began to stir drinks using his mind. He was definitely getting used to his power of telekinesis, and ever since the Control Room, he had somehow been able to be more precise, more accurate. It was making him lazy, but he figured that he would need all the training he could get if he wanted to continue with the Six. These girls kept him on his toes. Prophet let out a laugh to lighten the mood. ::

"I am guessing you couldn't concentrate with Blaze's Dance Party 2005 going on up there?"

:: Not expecting Cameron to open the door dripping wet in a towel, Alexis' eyes widdened a bit..but she quickly composed herself and simply raised a single brow allowing a small smirk to appear on her pouty pink lips. ::

"Of course.."

:: Stepping into Cameron's apartment, Alexis' tilted her head to the side as she watched Cameron walk through the livingroom and head to his bedroom. Closing the door slowly behind her she couldn't help but smile...damn that boy had a fine ass. Parting her lips with her tongue, she made her way over to the white sofa and sat down, only to casually glance in the direction of Cameron's bedroom, to see the towel drop to the gorund. Before she could get anymore of a show, the door close. Damn.... ::

"Mr. King...how you tease me so."

:: Alexis spoke to herself. Biting her tongue as she heard the bedroom door open, she shifted her eyes towards Cameron who was now in a more comfortable attire, Alexis adjusted herself on the couch and crossed her legs casually. As Alexis sat back against the couch, slightly turning towards Cameron, her burnt orange jacket parted even more, showing her black with gold trim bra...and of course the clevage from her ample breasts. Smiling at his question, she watched as he sat down and became more comfortable. ::

"Well, I recieved your message...but it was broken up a bit."

:: She rolled her eyes in a cute manor before continuing. ::

"Reception....anyhow, I just wanted to make sure I understood your message correctly."

:: Looking into his eyes...that was all a crock of shit. Trying not to smile, Alexis heard the tapping of glasses indication drinks were being made. Smirking, Alexis chuckled a bit. ::

"You're getting quite good with that telekenisis, aren't you?"

:: Pausing for a moment, Alexis tried to contain herself from jumping his bones. Why this? She was so over men...hell she was over men since her third marraige, but Cameron was just too damn cute to ignore. Laughing about his comment on Blaze's loud music, she shook her head playfully grunting in frustration. ::

"Oh my god, I wanted to short circut that stero so bad."

:: Her laughing soon began to subside and silence fell over the room. Glancing her eyes downward she paused again, before looking up at Cameron. ::

"You tell HIM that I don't give a flying FUCK what he prefers. But, Since I'm a professional businesswoman, I'm willing to go about this in a civilized manner. We can do this two ways... the easy way.... or MY way. With the easy way, he leaves with a great deal of money and his dignity. MY way... well... lets just say its not nearly as pleasant, and I would have my money AND his company. If he declines to meet with me after that... tell him to make sure his Will is updated."

Haleigh walks around her living room in a tank top and red silk pajama pants. She swirls a glass of red wine absentmindedly as she talks, sipping every now and then. She appears to be talking to herself, as there is no one in the room and she isn't holding a phone. She waters a hanging fern plant near her sliding glass door, pausing to look out at the view as the sun sinks behind the skyline. No more vast countryside, no more trees or hills or landscape in the distance. Living in the city was a new experince for Haleigh... she'd left worcester to come live in New York after the citadle catastrophe... it had been a group decision, on the basis that they were safer if they were together. Morgan had renovations done and floors closed off to the public to offer the Six very state of the art living, and it was wonderful... but it was different, and Haleigh still missed being able to open a window and smell the spring breeze. At least she didn't have to commute now... Liquid Crystal Images was only a few blocks away. Her new living arrangements left nothing to be desired, all impeccably designed to her specifications. Her living room was modern and coxy, black leather sofas and chairs, glass coffee and end tables, a large but not over the top wall mounted flat panel tv. Her walls were decorated with black and white photos she'd taken herself, of various places on a beach. Tides splashing over large rocks, the dunes. An abandoned pier, a wooden fence that seemed as though a hurricane had blown it so hard it no longer stood up straight, but wouldn't resign to lay on its side. all of the pictures were without people, but held some kind of strange beauty that drew admirers to them.

"Very good. Now... the opening of the Parthenon is in two days time... i trust we've cemented our Photography team? No, No.... Evanko is good, as long as he doesn't slobber all over Morgan like he did at the first shoot, we should be fine. Listen.... I want you to assemble a security crew to cover the opening and the after party. Its a very prestigious event... so i'll need a BIG team. Preferably our best, I dont want any embarrassment."

Haleigh moved into her kitchen, refilling her glass of wine and putting the watering can under the sink. Toenails clicked on the tile floor, letting her know that Delta was coming into the room. Delta was a beautiful, streamlined blue doberman with dark rust markings, and she took a moment to kiss up to Haleigh before going to the other end of the kitchen for her water bowl. Haleigh's kitchen was also very modern looking, with all polished steel appliances and black marble countertops. Very sleek.

"I know its short notice... but I hadn't planned on it before... it was just something Cameron mentioned the other day at lunch. I think he'd feel more comfortable knowing I was behind his security, and not some idiot for hire team."

Haleigh pat Delta on the head and took her wine glass in hand again, getting ready to leave the kitchen. Cameron and her were quite close, but anyone could've guessed, for they seemed to be both cut from the same cloth. Both were confident, aggressive, and powerful business intellectuals. both were money and success driven. Neither could stand being with Morgan for extended periods of time... They pact they made during the citadle incident seemed to carry over into normal life, they watched out for each other. Haleigh kept Cameron up to date on several of his business competitors, keeping his apprised of all discreet business decisions they made or were considering, giving him quite the upper hand. Cam used Liquid Crystal for all his photography needs. Haleigh could hear music wafting from the floor below. She had a fleeting desire to join the party... but didn't doubt Blaze had company and didn't feel up to going downstairs. How lazy she was today....Blaze was quite a spirit, and Haleigh liked her a lot more than she originally thought she would. She'd expected Blaze to be snooty and insufferable, just like her sister... but was surprised [and pleased] to find that they had much in common, including a Military past and a love for well crafted guns. She absentmindedly noted how loud it must have been to be able to hear it through the floors, but didnt seem too bothered by it and it was gone soon anyway. Alexis would likely be most agitated by the music... Haleigh and Alexis did well tolerating each other. they didn't exactly spend a lot of bonding time together, but they didn't go out of their way to provoke each other either. Haleigh's relationship with Morgan was a little more shaky. Things were weird since the citadle... they'd saved each others lives and had now reached a kind of truce... despite that Haleigh sometimes just wanted to wring the woman's neck and didn't doubt Morgan wished for the same opportunity.

"Hey.... If you want to LIVE.... you won't finish that sentence. Cameron and I are partners. Business, professional. We're good friends... nothing more. Call me when you've set plans for my meeting with Cavanaugh."

Haleigh went smoothly into her bed room, which was a great deal darker than the rest of her apartment, with the shades still drawn across the window. Echo perked his ears and lifted his head from his spot on the floor. Echo was Haleigh's other canine companion, a proud and muscular Brindle Boxer with dark markings and a pure white chest. Dark red sheets and covers lay strewn in a mess across an empty bed, and Haleigh went over to open the shades. She took a deep breath and set her glass on a bedside table, beginning to make the bed with care and precision. A tall, tan, and rather gorgeous man came from her bathroom wrapped in a towel.

"Zach... Haven't you left yet? You know.... when i invited you to spend the night with me.... I hadn't actually anticipated you staying the night."

Zach smiled, amused. He didn't think she was being serious. he hung his towel on a bedpost and took Haleigh into his arms, stopping her from making the bed. He flashed a pearly grin and played along. Haleigh instantly remembered why she'd invited him in.... he had a breathtaking smile and a smooth voice that was made even better by a charming italian accent. "Well.... what exactly had you expected I would do?"

"Well.... I expected we'd have sex quite a few times, which was wonderful... and then at the crack of dawn, like any normal warm-blooded male specimen, you slither out of bed, collect your things, and sneak out of my apartment."

"Mmhm... We didnt go to bed until 0700... dawn had already cracked.... lets start over... and then you can pretend to sleep and I can pretend to sneak out. Its strange... your first day off in months... and yet I could have sworn you were talking business out there a few minutes ago."

"A day off for me is a day i dont go to the office. We're making big changes... buying out smaller competition on both fronts, franchising LCI and creating new CI cells... as CEO and Director... I need to be involved."

Zach was obviously someone from CI... and high up enough to know about the new cells. He'd had his eye out for Haleigh for some time, a trusted senior officer with high security level clearances. what was more... he CARED about Haleigh... and Haleigh was beginning to sense that there was something more for her too.... though hell would freeze over before she ever admit it to herself. Moonlight illuminated the room as Zach began to kiss her, and Echo whined and left the room as they fell back onto the kingsize bed.

:: Cameron wanted to wince at Alexis' comment about his message being broken up. She knew he was a little nervous and now, she was playing games with him. He smiled. That is what he liked about her. Normally with most girls he would just use them and throw them out like old Chinese Food, and although he wasn't sure if that was going to happen with Alexis. He did want to test the waters a bit, just to see how things would go. And besides, the girl was a Siren in the sack. Smiling he remembered what they were talking about in the first place and responded. ::

"Yes, well as you know, Vivica really wants us to do the interview for Tempo so we can get the Parthenon into the press. I know, the girl has gone crazy ever since she became VP, but she is damn good.."

:: Prophet smiled at Alexis who was commenting on his powers. They really were getting better. Whatever he was doing, he planned on keeping up. It was nice to feel so powerful. The drinks were stirred as they floated from the bar and landed on the Coffee Table ready to drink. Though the drinks looked as if they were highly alcoholic, they were in fact just dressed up sodas, as Cameron remembered that Alexis was a recovering Alcoholic. He pointed to the drinks and laughed. ::

"Don't worry, Lex. It's just soda..."

:: Taking a drink of his soda, he set it back down on the table and looked at Alexis deeply in the eyes before breaking their gaze and staring out the window looking at the City Scape, remarking about Blaze. The girl was fiery. They hadn't really talked much face to face, but Vivica had been working with both Blaze and Morgan closely for the planning of the Parthenon. He turned back to look at Alexis with a look on his face that definitely meant more than he was saying. ::

"So yes.. maybe we should do the interview.. to let.. the people, get to know me. Everything I like and don't like. What I like to do, where I like to go, and what my breath smells like in the morning..."

:: Cameron was going in for the kill ::

:: Grabbing ahold of the drink that was floating towards her, she was a bit hesitant until Cameron reassured her it was soda. Smiling, it was actually sweet that he remembered about her...problem. Taking a small sip of the soda, she sat forward and placed the glass ontop of the coffee table. Sitting back, she continued to listen to Cameron speak about his plans of getting interviewed and what not. She knew what he wanted, his message was perfectly clear, so Alexis really didn't listen all the much...her mind on other things. ::

"Well Vivica is right, if you want The Parthenon to get even more publicity among people of all ages, Tempo is the way to do it. I'm actually free tomorrow afternoon if you want to have the interview then."

:: Playing with the single button on her blazer, she watched Cameron as he spoke, nodding in agreement with everything he was saying about people getting to know him. Although his last comment stopped Alexis in her tracks. The woman began to chuckle as she turned her head away from Cameron. Well, well, well, his mind was on other things as well. Turning back to Cameron...enough with the games. ::

"Enough buisness talk, Cameron.."

:: Stopping, Alexis adjusted herself on the couch, turning more towards Cameron. A devilish smirk appeared on her lips. ::

"Your lips. My neck...what do you say?"

:: Her finger slipped over her button as it popped out it's slit, her jacket now opening freely. ::

:: For a moment, Cameron felt completely shut down. He had opened himself up with the first move and Alexis had come in and stopped it before it even began. Cameron watched as Lex played with the sole button on her blouse as if to tease him just enough to keep him where he sat. She was definitely trying to control the situation, something Cameron didn't necessarily like, but he went along with. A chase was fun every now and again. As he made his last comment he saw the look of shock ironically in Shockwave's eyes as she told him in a very seductive manor that they were through with business talk. ::

"Well, what kind of talk did you have in mind?"

:: As Cameron heard the Meta Human speak and basically invite him to ravish her, she undid her blouse. Cameron moved closer as he began to gently kiss her neck as he whispered into her ear softly as if to tease her back for what she had done before ::

"Just your neck.. well, I certainly have other places in mind as well...."

:: Cameron faced Alexis as the two locked lips. They were doing it again. It was the same thing that happened last time. He didn't know why they were attracted like this but that was for another place and another time. Right now, Cameron was solely focused on Alexis. He playfully bit her lip as he began to move down her body, unbuckling her pants, prepared to make this a night that neither of them would soon forget, no matter how much they regretted it in the morning. As Alexis and Cameron continued to go at it, their moans and screams could be hear well up from the other floors as he was sure he would have some explaining to do tomorrow, but at the moment he didn't care. He slowly began to kiss Lex's inner thigh before he inched slightly up. With a single thought the lights in the Apartment went off and all that could be seen was two silohuettes joined together. ::

:: Closing her eyes as she extended her neck back, a soft moan escaped her lips as he continued to kiss her. A small chuckle escaped her lips at his comment about kissing other things...well of course Alexis didn't strictly mean her neck. ::

You can kiss whatever you want..

:: Pulling him close, her lips met with his as she deeply kissed him, moving her hands up his back. Normally Alexis would sleep with one man and toss him aside never to think of him again...occasionally she would fuck him a second time if he was really hot. But Cameron was something different. His cockiness...his headstrong personality, the way he loved to control the situation. It was so sexy to Alexis because she was the exact same way. Having someone with basically the same way of thinking was even better than a hot guy....although she didn't deny he was smokin' as hell. ;) Her breathing began to pick up as her body began to get hot. Pulling Cameron ontop of her, she gently broke the kiss as she managed to pull her jacket off and toss it onto the floor. Feeling him reach for her pant buttons, she went back to passionatly kissing him until finally...the lights went off. Throughout the night, the only noises that could be heard from Cameron's apartment was moaning, screaming, and grunting. It was bastically a sex fest all night. :D ::

Ororo
04-11-2005, 09:02 AM
:: a world away...across dimensions in the magickal realm of Limbo...Ororo sits under the massive oak tree that is the center of her beautiful, plentiful acres garden....near by, a laughing brook bubbled and flowed along ...moving through much of the spacious land that was filled with beautiful fresh flora and foliage...the brook emptied into a thundering waterfall far across on the other side of the garden. There all sorts of little creatures, faeries, gnomes and other magickal creatures that frolicked and flitted about with a shy innocence...as they enjoyed the sound of their mistress humming. this garden was a testament to Ororo's triumph over the darkness of Belasco's corruption in her soul. She created it many years ago and with her own magick and strength of will, caused it to expand and flourish, pushing out the icy, chaotic landscape that was typical of Limbo. It was the one area in which no one...not even Belasco could corrupt or infect it with their evil. Following her tragic physical death decades ago, during an attempt to save HER version of Spellbinder [Darkchilde], the Garden experienced its first bitter cold, violent winter ever....ravaged by the evil and chaos of Limbo without her magick to sustain it. But now that Ororo has transcended mortality her garden once again flourishes.::

::the breezes flow with a sparkling effect at random...and the skies above are just like those of a fresh spring morning on earth. It is truly a natural gem of beauty.::

::after her morning meditation and some time relaxing under the massive oak, the focal point of the palatial garden, Ororo stands up...wearing a simple white "goddes" robe with her her silver hair down...and a beautiful orchid tucked in on the side of her flowing mane....she moves through the garden, smiling at the creatures who peer out from behind trees and rocks. She is aware of every living thing within her garden::

::She returns to her estate...a beautiful citadle fashioned out of ancient stone and one with the foundation of Limbo. its old world elegance and gothic design suggest that it has existed for many MANY years. Once inside the gothic castle, there was a cathedral like silence...she made her way to one of the bed chambers, each room was styled in a different decor but all were very cozy and had a natural, rustic serenity to them. Inside this bed chamber, lay a slumbering Alison Marble. No longer was she in her leather body suit...nor was her hair in the extreme bun that was her trade mark. The young woman now wore a simple white gown, her hair was down and lay perfectly, framing her face. her alabaster skin was now smooth and free of the cuts, bruises and scrapes. her PHYSICAL body had long since recovered from the trauma from the Citadle...but still she lay in a coma...Imagiomg's touch had reached far deeper than anyone knew.::

Ororo: It is time to try once more...to reach Alison on the astral plane...and free her from the toxic binds of Imagiomg. His essence is trying to bond with her's ...he wishes to posses her and carry on THROUGH her body. But as long as she remains here, the magick of this realm coupled with her strong will have prevented him from progressing. I must do all that i can to help her.

:: seating by her bed in an antique , french dark wood chair, Ororo looks upon the young woman, and gently strokes her hair....soon she will cast a pentagram around the bed and the both of them as she works her spell of astral projection to once again return to the astral plane::

::at the top of Illustra inc, spellbinder lay sleeping in her luxe penthouse apartment. she was unaware of what was going on on the floors and private residences below and she had been scarcely seen by anyone else of the Six since they settled into the newly renovated Illustra. Not even her own sister had had much time with her save the massive publicity juggernaut that Morgan launched for the opening of Blaze's club Hellfire.::

:: Spellbinder looked serene and peacefull as she slept in her chamber of dreams...far across the room, the crystal glass doors that lead out to the terrace over looking the city from high above were opened and as the skies rolled and soft thunder rolled through, the winds continued to flow through her room and int the penthouse.::

::soon...she was in REM sleep...which for a sorceress can be far more eventfull than the dreams of a mere mortal::

Dream Zone:

::flying through the night air, wearing a witch's "flying suit" complete with cape, Morgan found herself streaking across the night skyline....free as ever and laughing out loud as she spun, dipped, twisted and looped effortlessly around buildings....sometimes climbing high up ....sometimes dipping low while flying. as she flew away from the city, Morgan suddenly found herself flying across a more natural scene of land with trees, mountains, valleys and meadow like splendor....she had no idea just where she was...but she didnt seem to care......she just flew along....but soon, the starry night sky began to go pitch black....there was no "surroundings"....it all became black, barren and empty....she soon found it hard to see....and slowed down her speeds but even as she attempted to adjust....a frightening sound is heard as an immense pair of glowing eyes open in mid air.....startling her.::

what the hell is THIS!?

:: she tried to stop herself...but soon she found herself in the path of the now GIANT Siege Perilous the ancient mystic gem that concealed the door way to the void of space and ultimate cosmic judgement...the gem blasted into view taking up ALL of the horizon in front of her..and immediately its smooth faced pure ruby gem front sparkled and opened...revealing a terrifying vortex that bared the aspect of the cosmos.....the vortex's power was relentless, spinning Spellbinder upside down and every which way as she tried desperately to fight back with her flight and super strength...::

I CANT STOP!!..

:: the Siege grew even LARGER to encompass all of the area in front of Spellbinder as she fought to pull away from its vortex. her stepping discs failed her...as she found herself being swept up into it...screaming with protest. the sound of shattering glass is heard as that dream scape shatters and she smashes down into the Astral Plane....::

::the land scape of the AP is barren ...grey and filled with violent skies....cold and full of despair. nothing like what she'd ever seen before. sounds of distress and anguish could be heard in the air around her. she stands up...wearing a form fitting black midriff bearing tee and a black mini with a low slung, metal studded double bet and silver heeled stillettos::

alright.....

::she fiercely looked around with anger all over her face...she wanted to know who was behind this so she could destroy them. She walked forward...and in the distance she saw flashes of light....::

Guardian: Morgannnn!!!

::spellbinder's eyes widened::
ALISON!?

::she began to run toward the source of the light...lifting off the ground and flying at high speeds toward it....when suddenly she came up on a scene out of hell....with Guardian laying on the ground...half dead and extremely emaciated.....::

::GASP!!::

Alison!! what happened?! where is Ororo!?!!

Guardian: He has Ororo....He's coming back for me........

::Spellbinder cradled Alison::

WHO!? tell me who it is so i can GET THEM!!

** After finding out from Morgan's secretary she had gone home, a sense of disappointment overcame Blaze, who sighed deeply. "All right, well tell Ms. Victoria that I have created a list of possible ads she might find to her advantage, would you see she gets these please?" The secretary nodded, and off Blaze went. **

** Glancing down at her watch, Blaze quickened her pace, knowing darkness was arriving. She hadn't realized how much time passed, especially now with her luxurious life style. As pleasant as it was, Blaze hadn't gotten used to this. But she was still grateful for what she was giving and what she worked so diligently to receive. Walking out of the double steel doors, Blaze looked up at the moon. Closing her eyes as the lighting of the half crescent shinned directly onto her form. **

** Blaze hardly ever slept, the reasons for this were unknown. Unlike humans, she could go without it. Blaze didn't sleep to dream, in fact she avoided it at all costs. It only brought the nightmares.....nightmares of the man who took her innocence when she was just a young woman. Opening her eyes, Blaze returned to the apartment complexes, sitting down at the edge of the pool. Rolling up her business pant leg, revealing an ankle tattoo of a tribal symbol, the meaning was unknown but it meant enigma. Staring off into the blue depths of the spacious inground pool, Blaze's thoughts drifted on the members of the Six. Each of them provided a pivotal role in the Illustra company but they were also bonded as a team. Although at times, Blaze herself felt out of loop. **

** Rising to her feet, the sound of water trickling down Blaze's feet fell to the pool. But she didn't exactly feel the desire to retire to her apartment. That same lively spirit kept her bound with energy. She did need a change of clothing though. Changing into low rise blue jeans with a pink belly shirt, letting her long fiery locks fall to her shoulders. She was ready to go out on the town and that's exactly what she would do. **

** Hours later, Blaze was returning to the apartment complex when she was suddenly jumped by three masked men. Shoving her violently up against the outer wall, Blaze was shocked at such a violation and how did they manage to get in the building unless they worked here. "Your purse bitch!" Yelled the leader, who was roughly grabbing at Blaze's shoulder. Her inner fury developed as did a dark red irises within her eyes, elbowing the guy in the gut roughly, "back of!" She barked to the two, cartwheeling away to give herself space. The second pulled out a handgun, aiming it at Blaze, "your purse, now!" Narrowing her eyes, Blaze enjoyed such a challenge, that thick headed Aries temper of hers, only stirred her on more. "A gun?! You have got to be kidding me." The second masked attacker, pulled the trigger. However, with such superior hearing, Blaze dropped down to the ground seconds before. The bullet whizzing past her, which only added to her adrenaline rush. Grinning to herself she rolled onto her back, jumping to her feet. Striking the third attacker in the jaw, sending him flying into the pool, which heavily splashed the pavement. The first attacker jumped towards Blaze, who easily side stepped, causing him to fall onto the lounge chair. Giggling at how amateur these fools were when a feeling of cold metal touched her juggler. The front end of the gun pressed deeply into Blaze's throat, "your purse!" "Well, if you insist." Beginning to take off her purse when she whirled it around striking the attacker in the head, tripping him again as she backflipped away. **

"You boys are fired by the way!"

** Each of them had worked for Illustra, thus how they were able to get in. Just then large spotlights came on and two large bulky security guards walked out, escorting the three men out. Picking up the gun, Blaze was not satisfied with the make and model of it so she tossed it over the railing, letting it fly towards the street. That reckless behavior only stirred her more, casually walking up to her apartment. **

** Once inside, Blaze stared at her stereo with a devilish grin, "hmmm, 4am, I think its time for a morning wake up call." She giggled but knew it wasn't right, she'd wait until 7 or 8 to play her music, which drove everyone crazy. She sat down on the living room couch, small lava lamps lite the darkness surrounding her. Blaze was absolutely bored and it showed. Nighttime wasn't her best hour of activity. Peering down at her necklace, she opened the locket to reveal a white powder substance. "A girl's gotta get by somehow." Sniffing the coke, Blaze felt her world relax, closing the necklace. Laying back on the couch, putting her feet up on the coffee table. One of her dirty little secrets, she did cocaine to get her by the bad days. Shutting her eyes, Blaze smiled at the feeling she felt. The day would only get better for her. Her worries quiet as was her mind, which by now was beginning to get the high feeling. Hey, if it didn't kill her the first time, she'd continue to do it. **

Haleigh dried her hair with a towel, walking into her closet. Zach was back in the bedroom, getting dressed. Haleigh pulled on some dark blue jeans and a white button down over a pink tank top. She pulled her hair into a messy bun and dried the back of her neck, coming back into the room where Zach was putting his other arm in his dark red Armani button down. He buckled his belt and leaned down to give Haleigh a kiss. She strangely didn't want him to leave... He had the effect of making long days shorter and taking her mind off her work, which had lately managed to soak up all her energy.

"Mmm.... red really is your color. Why are you leaving again?"

"Actually, I personally think I look better in black... but YOU like red so that's why I wore it. I have a flight in an hour. the Nuke transaction interception in Naples."

"Ah... is it 0400 already?"

"Indeed it is... you should get some rest." He suggested, clasping his watch and beginning to button and tuck his shirt.

"Mmm.... I don't sleep." She responded simply, taking the wine glass from the night before and leaving the room. She entered the kitchen, pouring the wine out in the sink and smiling at Delta and Echo, who were quite happy to see her without Zach attached to her neck. She scratched them both behind the ears, filling their food dishes as Zach came into the kitchen, smoothing his shirt and on his way out.

"You know... you said that before... I always took it as a 'no rest for the wicked' bit. I didn't think you were actually serious. Are you going to be okay here, all alone?"

Haleigh gave him another kiss. there was a moment of silence between them which Haleigh took to wonder just why exactly she felt the need to kiss him goodbye. She smiled and crinkled her nose.

"Don't be silly. I'm safer here than the president is in his oval office. And even if i wasn't... I'm perfectly capable of handling any trouble that comes my way. I think I'm gonna go down and see what Blaze is up to anyway... she doesn't sleep either."

Haleigh instructed her canines to behave and walked with Zach out to the elevator. They kissed once more, with a sense of slight urgency and then parted ways when Haleigh reached the next floor down. she took a deep breath... she needed to get a hold of herself... it had been a long time since she'd actually ENJOYED the company of a man... and she'd forgotten what it felt like... furthermore.... she wasn't exactly up to the task of admitting anything yet. She knocked softly on Foxfire's door, wiping her bottom lip with her finger and waiting patiently.

** Comfortably lounging on the plush leather couch, Blaze continued to drift through higher levels of adrenaline rushes. Sweeping over her mind and body, she leaned her head back on the pillow when Midnight jumped up onto her lap. Blaze didn't even seem to feel him, she was far too wrapped up when a knock at the door stirred her bliss. Opening her eyes slowly, she wondered who that would be. A soft purring caught Blaze's attention to see Midnight, scratching him behind the ears, she pulled him gently to the side. **

** Getting up, she dusted herself off with a small yawn and a stretch. Quickly moving to her door in seconds, she opened in, leaning her palm at the side of the door, her comfort stance. Looking Hal up and down, Blaze grinned, "someone had sex and LOTS of it! I can smell it all over you, do come in though." Bumping her door skillfully open with her shoulder, Blaze allowed her friend to come in, "what do I owe the pleasure?" Opening her fridge, she pulled out a large bottle of whine, "would you like a glass?" She asked. **

** Her high beginning to vanish, cocaine was such an overrated drug, the affect hardly lasted long. But it was enough to calm her nerves. "I thought maybe you were Alex, coming to destroy my stero....although I'm sure she's busy with Cam. The perk of superior hearing and senses." A smirk working over her lips. Carrying the large bottle to the counter, Blaze poured the whine into a large goblet, "how have you been?" Turning around to lock eyes with Hal, a look of compassion showed in her green eyes. "You've been rather quiet, perhaps busy with business. I'm sure its none of my business." Remarked Blaze, who took a sip of her whine. "May I get you anything, an expresso? whine, me?" She playfully winked with a giggle, she always teased Haleigh. Blaze knew Haleigh was straight but she enjoyed to play a game of one -- up. She loved to provoke a reaction and she knew Hal usually played along, but that's all it was, just fun. Although Blaze had to admit, Haleigh was beautiful to say the least but the two were bonded by how similar they could be. **

<< hours had passed....as Spellbinder slept..and now...as dawn approached, her eyes and her brow betrayed the strain of a less than plesasant dream>>
---------------------------------
Dream Zone: (continued):

::holding her dying friend, Spellbinder glared around...frantically hoping that the assailant would show himsef::

come out and show yourself you bastard!!

::in that brief moment...she looked down and Guardian had disappeared...and SHE herself was now back....back inside the Control Room. it was dark though. dimly lit and full of cob webs....there was minimal power and dust everywhere. the place had been sealed for a while now and there was no apparent signs of activity::

this can't be happening! i didnt teleport here..my discs must be out of synch

::she stood up and looked around...squinting her eyes and coughing a bit as the dust got in her face....she tried to summon a disc...but nothing happened::

my stepping discs!

::she ran to main entrance of the control room....and PUNCHED it with all her might....but the force of her blow was reflected back at her and sent her FLYING backwards, sprawling across the floor and colliding with ...a body. looking over....as she shook her head and sat up...the body lay face down....with silver white hair...but most of it had fallen out and the body appeared to be withered and decayed. as she turned it over, she saw Ororo.....it appeared she had been badly mauled and partially digested, regurgitated::

NO!! GODDESS NO!!!!!

::Spellbinder screamed with shock as she back pedaled away from the body........suddenly she felt a looming presence over her....as she looked up...a MASSIVE Anaconda.......its eyes were those of Imagiomg...and its color patterns matched those of Imagiomg's robes....as it loomed high over the now terrified sorceress....it opened its mouth and beared its massive fangs. Spellbinder was terrified to her core.....she felt the extremeties of her body going numb...as fear GRIPPED her like a vise. Snakes were her PHOBIA...the one thing that she had no defense against. but she tried her best to fight back::

YOU DID THIS!!.....YOU SON OF A BITCH!!.... ::trying to stand up...she found her every move sooo slowwwww:: whats..HAPPENING to me!?

::finally standing up...after what seemed like an eternity.....Spellbinder tried to pick up Ororo's body....and get away....but again..her moves were extremely slow.....almost as though her own temporal field were being warped::

voice of imagoimg: did you think me so easily defeated? did you not think that i would come back for you? I've already devoured your beloved mentor and your confidant.....and now i will have YOU!

::moving like liquid mercury...the giant python swriled around and began crushing Spellbinder...before movings its massive head down and BITING DOWN ON HERS....all the while...she SCREAMS with defiant protest....::

-----------------------------
Reality...back in the penthouse:

<< SCREAMS with definiant protest...as she writhes around in her bed..thrashing violently....a wide flash of lightning pierces the night sky as powerful blast of thunder errupts all around....>>

GET AWAY FROM ME!!

<< Spellbinder bolts upright....ready to PULP anything near her or touching her.....she's in such a state of panic that she lunges out of the bed....looking for the python ready to unleash ALL her power against it...but soon...her consciousness reasserts itself....she slowly begins to calm down....breathing heavily as she holds her chest....and looks around...a few tears flowing from her eyes>>

oh goddess....what WAS that!?

<< she immediately thought of Ororo and Alison...>>

Ororo...she must need help! But...she wouldnt "contact" me like that....something mustve happened to her and Alison!

<< looking across the room...she could see images/reflections of herself in her three way liquid crystal mirror....she looked angry...but at the same time perplexed>>

I'm still panicky...Ororo is no amateur....she wouldnt fall to Imagiomg without a fight....and if he's still inside of Alison...trying to drag her down to death with him....than Ororo must be having a harder time than i thought. I...must go to Limbo and try to help her get Alison back!

<< she stood now in front of the opened doors to the terrace...dawn was here....as she looked down at her nude form...the breeze caressed her body.>>

I won't involve the others. they'd just get in my way....and besides I am the one with the connection to Limbo. If i try to take them with me....they'll just bog me down.

<<Spellbinder knew that she'd never gone to Limbo on her own before since the LAST caper involving Black and her counterparts. she knew that if she wasnt careful she could find herself buried in layers of time and space and cross time realities...but for Alison and Ororo's sake...she had to go. She immediately moved back into the chamber of dreams and began to prepare.......all the while Tinkerbell, her sleek siamese , quietly watchd her mistress with her blue eyes...she looked very attentive..almost on alert>>

Haleigh smirked, unable to help it. she looked more relaxed than she'd been in weeks.

"Well.... I'll have to get a stronger soap then, huh?"

Haleigh was never very secretive about much with Foxfire... it was strange for her to be so open about everything with anyone other than Cassandra... but since that night with the Six, Haleigh seemed to have taken on different characteristics. She stopped to pet Midnight lovingly and then followed Blaze. they played an interesting game that few others understood. haleigh smirked, moving closer to Blaze, placing her hand on Blazes, stopping her from pouring a glass for Haleigh and guiding her to put the bottle down. Her voice quieted.

"You know good and well what I came here for." She leaned in to whisper in Blaze's ear, dragging her fingertips up the woman's arm slowly. "I like the wine from '84 and I drank all mine." She whispered playfully, taking a step back and grinning. She winked just as playfully back at Blaze, going back to the living room and sinking into the red leather couch. She crossed her legs at the knee, playfully tinkering with Midnight.

[Scoffs]"Alexis... she's always got a stick up her ass about something. Are they at it again? she needs it. Of course... that's only going to end badly... and then where do we go? Sometimes I wonder.... is super sense a blessing, or a curse in disguise? It must be annoying after a while, having to listen to those two go round for round."

She pauses, smoothing the fur on Midnight's head. She was such an animal person.

"Yeah.... I've been pretty busy. You know the business. It's crazy. With all the expansion I'm finally doing, its even crazier than usual. I'm taking a few days off to unwind. Read: to party and have sex." She stops to laugh playfully, looking up at Blaze. "I went to Hellfire last night. Business is booming... it's a very nice establishment."

** Smirking at how close Haleigh was to her own body, Blaze dipped her head to the side, peering into those cobalt eyes. "Really? I should go out and buy it then." She teased when Haleigh walked into the living room. Shaking her head at her dear friend while putting the bottle back into the fridge. She could smell Haleigh's perfume, which seemed to mark her scent, mapping out her own unique signature. **

"I think Alex is just insecure, so she puts up such a front. She can be bitchy, but I look past it. She doesn't know how to handle me and I love it!"

** A small cackle escaped Blaze, walking into the kitchen, sitting on the arm chair adjacent to the leather couch. Midnight was adoring the much needed attention he was receiving, lifting his chin up more. "Look at him, he's enjoying every moment. Male cats usually are more friendly. I told Morg I'd have Mid mate with Tink...well, the look on her face was priceless." A small chuckle echoing off the walls, while Blaze secretly tried to read her friend. But her last comment caught Blaze off guard, who burst out laughing. Nearly choking on her glass of whine. **

"Sex is good with the right person. Lately, its become a bore for me. Nobody seems to have the right spice for me....they want to actually have a relationship, its a turn off. I can't do it...I won't...I refuse to let someone in, not after my fi...her. I prefer to be a free spirit, I don't see love in my future and that's fine with me. Like the old saying goes, its better to have loved and lost then not at all."

** Pausing for a moment, Blaze thought about her beloved fiance who had passed away, years ago. Thinking about her, only brought pain to her heart. Just then, Haleigh commented on her club, stealing her attention. A look of gratuity was expressed over her facial expression. "thank you, I haven't gone yet. I never did, not on the first couple of nights anyway. I get so nervous, I'm just a pile of nerves. I attend to other activities, mostly at night. I can't sleep, I'm sure your the same way."

"I never did thank you for your connections. We'll have to go to lunch, on me. You can pick it, I'm not picky with food." Having Haleigh around, always calmed Blaze. She didn't have to put up a wall around this woman, she felt and understood what life was about. **

"so, tell me about this fellow who kept you up this evening....an old friend of yours? I'm sure he's not as naggy as Carmen."

** Rolling her eyes, Blaze hated the mushy feelings, she was very anti -- love. But her eyes betrayed her real feelings. "I always thought you and Cam would hook up, how close you two were. Looks like Alex beat you to it." But of course Blaze only teased, she knew Hal didn't like Cam in that way, they were like siblings. **

:: It had been nearly an hour and a half spent in the livingroom before Cameron swooped Alexis off her feet and carried her into his bedroom. The two sex bots continued to go at it for a while as the sun began to peek up from behind the large skyscrapers and shine into the bedroom. ::

:: Alexis was ontop of Cameron, her legs strattling around him. The sun kissed her bare back as moans escaped the meta human's lips. Leaning down, she kissed his lips as her breath quickened...but suddenly, flashes of that night in The Citadle entered her mind. Adam's image on the crackling screen from the morgue. The smell of Old Spice almost seemed wash over the entire room, making Alexis begin to panic. Closing her eyes allowing her head to rest on Cameron's shoulder...she continued to do what she was doing..not really being able to control what was happening. It was streaming into her head so fast..everything was happening at once. Screaming began to echo in her mind from the first night she killed her father. Then blood.....Adam grabbing Alexis and forcefully threatening her....Her hugging her father to further incriminate herself to The Six in the biolab....then finally stabbing her father in the throat with the shard of metal. Screaming, Alexis pushed herself off of Cameron, fear written all over her face. ::

:: Panting, Alexis climbed off the bed, grabbing one of Cameron's white button down shirts that happened to be lying next to the bed. Bending down, she quickly grabbed it and began to slip it on. ::

"I have to go."

:: With a quickened pace, Alexis left the bedroom and headed down the hall to the livingroom. Grabbing her clothing on her way to the door, she found herself basically running out of Cameron's apartment, slamming the door behind her. Stopping, Alexis stood in the hall hearing the faint conversation between Blaze and Haleigh from down the hall. Gulping, her breathing began to slow as she closed her eyes and leaned back against Cameron's door; extending her neck back taking one last deep breath. ::

"I knew you would find a way to continue torturing me..."

:: Spoken softly by the distraught woman. ::

Haleigh sensed they'd tread into a sensitive subject... and was ready to lead them right out again. Haleigh was never good with the whole comforting thing, not for a while anyway. She knew what to say and what to do... but it always seemed... manufactured, coming from her. Its not like she was a master of the whole love thing anyways... Haleigh would rather spend all day doing rocket-science.... literally. She brushed the topic away.

"Well you know... at least you KNOW what you want. Nothing's worse than being confused all the time. That whole 'star-crossed' lovers bit isnt for everyone. I mean, look at me... I don't think i've ever had love.... but it works for me. I'm successful, I'm powerful, I'm rich. I could have any man I want... and twice! But... I just think it would work for me. Such a VULNERABLE position you are when you're falling in love. I can't believe people think its healthy."

Haleigh smiled at Midnight... such an adorable cat... he was living it up. "Yes... he's quite the playboy. Ugh... Morgan. No offense... but your sister is like a cross between Madonna and Adolf Hilter. I can't believe you can WORK with that woman. Well... now that you mention it... lunch DOES sound nice. I've got a business meeting to attend first... an old collegue. Hey... you should come with me... get out of your life for a second... break away from Carmen and your work and your stress. I promise it'll be wonderfully scenic." Haleigh laughs as she mentions her escort for the night. "Zachary Armani... no, he's not related to the designer, haha. He works for me. Top notch field agent, one of my best. He's... a wonderful man. He takes care of my needs... and he's perfectly professional when we get back in the office. He's charming... handsome... and he's foreign darling, that's a plus. ;) I don't think we're to the part where he gets clingy and i get restless yet.... its... nice. Oh Blaze... you should go to your club... not as the owner... as a customer. experience the bliss. we should go tonight. don't say no."

Haleigh half-laughed, half scoffed. What was up with all the insinuations lately about her and Cam? Did people think it impossible for two gorgeous people to go to lunch [and dinner] and out for drinks and to each other's apartment and NOT be having sex? She was about to retort when she realized blaze was just kidding. She smirked and teased right back, not one to be left with nothing to say.

"Yes, shame it is. You know I can't sleep with him now that Alexis has slimed all over him. Pity... it would've done him good to know what a REAL woman is like." Haleigh never did like ANY of the women she saw Cam with... maybe it was a hint of jealousy... yeah, and maybe the Pope lives again. More likely, she was just being over protective of him. None of the women seemed to match up to her standards... and she never missed an opportunity to tell him as much. it was often 'too tall.' or 'too leggy.' or 'too perky, and SHE'S after your money.'

<<moving out to the large sunken in living room that over looks another view of manhattan .....the wall of floor to ceiling crystal windows provide an uninteruppted view of the skyline and beyond....the moon seems to "watch" as the sorceress prepares leave. leaving the lights off, Morgan moves to a far, darkened corner of the room...where her scrying glass floats in the air...shimmering in the moonlight. crystaline droplets hang down around the mystic lens, providing a more bewitching feel and as Morgan comes closer...the lens begins to glow and pulsate>>

i better figure out just WHERE in Limbo im going. those creatures that i saw....they seem to be interminable and i couldnt possibly fight them all off forever while trying to find Ororo's garden

<< Morgan was distracted by tinkerbell who mewed and called out to her. As morgan looked back and noticed Tinkerbell manifesting her own talents as a familiar ......using the power of vision to form a picture of the rest of the Six>>

<< Morgan was not amused>>

Tinkerbell......they are not going to help me. All they will do is get in the way. Now be a good kitty and DO NOT inform them.

<< she dismissively waved Tinkerbell away and turned her attention to the scrying glass...as she gestured and focused her energy.... the mystic lens soon shimmered and beared images of Limbo....shifting from one area to the next before finally revealing Ororo's garden>>

THERE IT IS!!

<< Morgan stood back, wearing a one should strapped midriff bearing leather top with silver accents, a platinum wrist cuff on the wrist opposite the shoulder strap , a black leather mini along with silver heeled black stillettos that support her bare, flawless legs...Morgan looked fierce. her hair was now bone straight and parted down the middle...>>

<<bending down to pick up Tinker, she cuddles with her while petting her head>>

now i shouldnt be too long. so dont worry. I'm going to help Ororo save Alison....you be a good kitty and guard the penthouse while im gone.

<< kissing Tink on her forehead before setting her down on the plush carpeted floor...Spellbinder looks back at the scrying glass and with a crack of thunder, a stepping disc opens at floor level horizontally and rises up...encompassing Morgan. As she teleports to Limbo...the disc closes with the faint sound of chimes in the air. Tinkerbell looks on....tilting her head and turning her ears back a bit...before slowly walking off into another part of the house>>

"All right, its a date then." That signature devilish smile smeared over her full nude lips. It usually meant Blaze was up to something. Finishing her glass of whine, she stood up. Walking over to Haleigh, she perked a curious brow. "Nice shirt you have there, it should really come off." Laughing quickly, Blaze turned to climb the spiral staircase, "I'll change and then we can go." She said softly, the old stairs creaking. **

** Fifteen minutes later, Blaze walked down the stairs with a semi -- casual attire with black slacks and a plumeria turtleneck. Her look more softer and a bit feminine. But she still contained that irresistible charm about her. "I'm ready to go sexy." Jumping off the couch, Midnight ran up to Blaze, who gently picked him up to her arms, "you try and behave Mid." She kissed her kitty on the forehead, who purred loudly. **

"Well, Morgan is Morgan, she's her own diva, but underneath it lays a vulnerable woman. She'll never show it though, only to a select few in her secret garden. I have no need to be catty unless I'm figuring out someone's intentions. I keep it simple and laid back, but for some reason everyone from the six feels I'm exactly like my sister, which obviously is a rumor."

** Putting Midnight down, he ran and tumbled onto the carpet, playing with a toy mouse. Locking eyes with Haleigh, Blaze awaited for her, "lead the way Hal, you know I'll follow." **

"What, I can't come watch?" Haleigh jeered in a tone that almost sounded serious, as she uncrossed and then recrossed her legs the other way for comfort. she looked aroudn the apartment for 15 minutes, waiting for Blaze to get back. She laughed at the sexy comment, flipping her hair witha hint of attitude.

"Oh good... I think your sister what about to come around the corner and grill me about bringing you back by eleven. Pfft... YOUR sister, vulnerable? WELL... is she any NICER to those in her 'secret garden'? Because she's the most condescending person I know. And I know Russell Crowe too. Don't forget your coat, its a little chilly there this time of year."

Haleigh smiled knowingly. She led Blaze downstairs where a chauffer waited to take them to a nearby regional airport. She refused to disclose the place they were going that they had to fly to get to... and simply seated blaze in the luxurious cabin of a lear jet. the flight was a couple hours long and pretty uneventful, as the two talked about random stuff and Haleigh completely avoided giving away their location. As the captain informed them that they were entering the approach pattern for landing, Hal went to the back to change out of her jeans and into pin striped business pants. As she came back, she was pulling a matching jacket over her button down and Blaze caught a glimpse of metal, which she could expertly identify as a Walther P22 strapped into a shoulder harness... which would also undoubtedly raise curiousity about the nature of the business meeting. Haleigh buckled up and gave a reassuring smile.

After they landed, haleigh pulled a silver metal briefcase from the over head compartment and beckoned blaze as the airplane door slid open. haleigh pulled a coat on over suit.... it was cold here, enough to see your breath evaporate.

"You may feel as those you've seen those snow-capped mountains in the distance.... you've probably seen photography of them.... Those are the Swiss Alps."

:: After calming down, the distraught meta human pushed off of Cameron's door and made her way back to her own apartment which was down the hall. Opening the door, Alexis made her way into her home closing the door behind her. She needed to get her mind off of this...Everything was going so well with Cameron, my god he was a tiger in bed. But every now and again she would slip back into the past, allowing her father to effect her as if he were still alive. After the first time she "killed" her father, she was diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder....and damnit, the same things that happened back there were slowly beginning to happen now. But knowing what to do after going through it those 10 years ago, Alexis knew she had to get her mind on something else and not let her father control her even in the afterlife. ::

:: Sighing, Alexis made her way through her livingroom and into the hall leading to her bedroom. Athena, her black Great Dane could sense something was wrong with her owner, so she jumped off her couch (yes, the dog as her own couch :D), and follwed Alexis to her bedroom. Throwing her clothing on the ground, Alexis sat down on her bed...and there to greet her, was of course, Athena. Smiling down at her faithful companion, she began to pet the giant dog lovingly, immediatly feeling her stress leave her body. ::

"You're such a good girl, Athena."

:: Smiling once more, she leaned forward and kissed the dog ontop of her mussel, only to have the dog lick her face. Laughing, she shook her head and sat back up. ::

"You always know how to cheer me up. Go on...i'm fine."

:: Patting her head once last time, Athena knew her master was feeling better. Heading over to her dogbed in the corner of the room, she made herself comfortable and laid back down. Standing up, Alexis slowly began to unbutton Cameron's white dress shirt....she did feel horrible for just running out on him, but Alexis was not the one to have a breakdown--even a minor one--infront of others. Gently slipping out of the large shirt, she tossed it onto her bed, now walking to her closet. She had to get out of this apartment. Even if it was almost morning, she could always go into work late.....perhaps Hellfire? She actually hadn't been there since Blaze opened it, there was no need too. The girl had wall pounding music on 24/7, she felt like she was in a damn club anyway. Either way, she needed time to relax and calm down, so Hellfire it was. Opening her closet door, she walked in and began to scan her wardrob for the perfect attire. ::

:: About 20 minutes later, after a quick shower to rinse off her body, and a change of clothing, Alexis emerged from her bedroom dressed in a somewhat casual way, wearing jeans and a cami (http://www2.victoriassecret.com/images/prodlgvw/V246845.jpg). Walking into the livingroom, she headed over to her kitchen to grab her cell that she had left their earlier that night. Running her fingers through her stick straight blonde locks before reaching the island, she then grabed her cell, placed it in her gold clutch, and turned on her heal heading back to the door. Opening it, she stepped back out into the hallway and turned around to lock her door. Looking down the hall towards Cameron's apartment, she only hoped she could make a clear get away so she didn't have to explain herself and what happened...she just need a little time alone without a game of twenty questions for the guy she just screwed. ::

"No, she's icy and bitchy to those who are not privileged into her select few. You have to give her time Hal, you'll eventually see. Although I think I'm more easy to talk to than my sister."

** At the mention of a coat, Blaze nodded in agreement. Turning at the hip, she reached for her black trench coat. Putting it on slowly, it draped past her knees with the collar flipped up, giving that mysterious look about her. Tying the belt in place, Blaze followed Haleigh to the car outside. **

"Aren't we fancy and well to do?"

** Her tone supplying that same sense of playfulness it contained earlier. Although curiosity reared its ugly head, Blaze remained silent. She knew Hal wouldn't speak of the target location they would be arriving to. Slumping down on the soft cushion of the limo, she tried to peer outside of the dark tinted windows, but found it to no avail. Glancing back at Hal with a serious expression, she wondered where they were going. But Blaze trusted her friend, which was very unlikely for her. Something both herself and Morgan shared, a lack of trust with people. Noticing the car gently roll to a stop, Blaze noticed a luxurious looking jet. Piecing the puzzle together, she was more than curious to know. **

"All right, I give up! Where are we going for this meeting?"

**While boarding the jet, Blaze glared at her friend who refused to disclose any information on the location. Bucking her seat belt, she was in awe at such a sight. She always rode on regular airline planes but never like this. She was beginning to feel like a VIP or even a celebrity. The two chatted for a while with Blaze glancing out the window, enjoying the scenery of the white puffy clouds. For a business meeting, Blaze did find it odd why Hal's brought a gun, maybe protection? She gave up harassing Hal with questions, but once they smoothly landed she looked out the window. Her brows furrowing together, where were they? Unbuckling her seat belt, she stood up to stretch. **

"Your lucky I love flying."

** Stepping off the plane, Blaze pulled her coat tightly around her body. Purposely blowing her breath when she locked eyes onto Haleigh for a reaction, "spill." She urged, her tone revealing that same curiosity **

"I'm sorry what?"

** Her green eyes going wide when she turned to spot the wintery mountains, piled high with snow. Raising another brow, Blaze grinned, "yeah, you just wanted to be ALL alone with me!" She purposely smacked her hip into Haleigh's, "this is...beautiful but a bit cold. I should have brought my gloves." Placing both hands into her pockets, she couldn't believe where they were, "well, you have my attention. But you'll have to keep me warm, its rather chilly here." She teased again with a wink. **

< Dr. Erika King stepped out of the Newport Beach Police Department and made her way to the parking complex to go home after a long day of work. She had been assisting the Police Department in catching a serial killer who left a series of clues all over Newport Beach so intricate that it had been almost imposisble to catch him. But with the help of Erika's extensive knowledge on Profiling Serial Killers and with her Doctrine in Criminal Psychology, she had been able to point the crew in the right direction and they were now dead on the case. It wasn't solved yet but it was close. Erika pressed the elevator button to bring her to the top floor in the complex and waited. She brushed off her Donna Karan (http://www.donnakaran.com/images/catalog/product.P10026.small.jpg) business suit and looked at her reflection in the Silver Walls of the Elevator Doors. Erika wasn't the lead in fashion trends and she couldn't even believe that she had bought the suit herself, but with her recent success around Newport and it's reputation as being a very luxurious and expensive place, she gave into the peer pressure and bought herself a wardrobe for her public appearances and for around the office. Her hair was pulled tightly back into a french bun as tresses fell down by her ears. The elevator dinged and Erika stepped inside and was ready to go home and take a nice long bubble bath. It had been a hard day and the last thing she wanted was more unecessary drama. She reached the top floor and got the keys from out of her bag as her body suddenly completely tensed up. Her magickal alarms were going off all over the place and the sudden drop in temperature led her to believe that she was not alone. She stood her ground as icy winds crept across her face, her eyes already glowing a pale silver. >

"Come out, come out wherever you are.."

< She saw something from the corner of her eye as she instantly turned around to see who was there, but there was nothing to be seen. Erika took a moment to ponder what could possibly want to attack her. Granted she had vanquished plenty of demons in her day, but most of them knew not to mess with her. This couldn't have been a demon at all. This was Mystech. Erika felt it in her bones. Just then the wind grew extremely fast and acted as razors as it blew her back and cut her face several times leaving bloody gashes on the flawless woman's facade. However, as quickly as the marks appeared, they were gone as they glowed a bright white for a split second before fading as if they had never been there at all. Erika was a witch that only practiced the good side of magick and for that her gifts had always treated her well. Her healing powers were rivaled against nobody as tested when she onced revived a dead woman after saving her from a demon. Erika tried to live a normal life, but when trouble came to her doorstep, she didn't runaway. She got up from the ground as she looked around. Whatever it was, was nowhere to be seen. Erika began to speak in a fast and even tone as she ignited a locating spell. >

"Magicks of the pure and white, reaching out through space and light, bring the hidden unto me, so that my vision can clearly See!"

< Just like that the cars in the parking lot faded away for an instant as she saw what appeared to be a Shadow Demon hiding behind one of the cars a few feet away. Erika wasted no more time. She couldn't risk being discovered as a witch on top of the parking complex of a Police Station. She would be turned in for sure. Her form became completely clear as her body transformed into a pool of water as she rushed over to the Shadow Demon. Reappearing behind the Demon, she whispered in it's ear. >

"Boo!"

< The Demon jumped as it instantly turned to her, it's Shadowy Whip ready to attack her at any moment. It lashed out at her arm as she quickly turned it into water, allowing the jagged strands to pass right through her. She lifted her hands as she unleashed a powerful bolt of magick force at the Demon sending him flying backwards into a pillar. She rushed forward chanting a spell she had recited so many times she didn't even think about it anymore. >

"For this demon in the dark, let light take him and depart. By the Goddess, he cannot stay, so let his night turn into day!"

< The Shadow Demon seemed stopped in it's tracks as it began to shake violently and seizure as blasts of light seemed to pour out from the inside of his body before he became trapped in complete light. He screamed an unearthly and ear curdling scream before exploding into the light, leaving nothing but a pile of dust behind. Erika looked around. Nobody had seen her. Her secret was still safe. She quickly unlocked her jet black Beamer with the press of a button and climbed in wanting desperately to get home. Why was Mystech after her? Why was Mystech acting out at all? She had seen The Six destroy them both. Erika knew that Mystech was now after her to get to Alison and Cameron, which meant Mommie Dearest was either out and about or about to released. Erika had to finally break her word. She had to break the spell. She had to make them remember who she was. Their sister. She pondered the thoughts as she drove down the beachside highway on the way back to her home. Things were about to get interesting. >

:: It had been an amazing night filled with things Cameron would remember for quite some time. Just as the sun began to peak from the skyscraper and things were heating up once more, Alexis jumped off of Prophet, quickly put on one of his shirts and ran out of the room. Normally, Cameron would have followed, but he knew exactly what was going on with Shockwave. She was still experiencing things from the Citadle, about Adam Chandler. He saw the Images that she had seen and while they shocked him as well, he couldn't begin to feel the amount of pain and remorse that Alexis was feeling right now. His chest moving up and down, he began to look at the clock. It was almost 4 o'clock in the morning and not a stir could be heard from anywhere around him. Today was going to be a busy day as he had a Press Conference to go to about the Opening of the Parthenon. Blaze, Morgan, Vivica and himself were going to promote the club along with some of the Agencies Models and Celebrity Endorsements. Blaze would go first since she was the Senior Campaign Manager, followed by a speech from Vivica and himself, and finishing off with Morgan who would give her seal of approval in a very phony yet very effective speech. It had all been planned meticulously by Blaze and Vivica. Those two were workhorses and he loved them for it. He was extremely surprised with Blaze's ability to work with Vivica and the other so well after what she had went through with the Citadle and Christopher Victory. He never asked her about it for fear that it would be too painful. Still there was about a million things to do and Cameron was going to need to get up and get his day started. He put on a pair of sweat shorts and headed to his gym area before turning around, knowing that he was forgetting something. Remembering he stopped dead in his tracks before heading to the kitchen. He got out some pet food and began pouring it in the dish. As the sound of kibble hit the dish, paws could be heard running across the floor as Hercules, Cameron's new pet, a german shepard puppy, came crashing from the living room before wiping out and sliding right next to his dish. Prophet shook his head and laughed before propping the pup back on his feet. ::

"Come on Ladykiller, eat and try not to kill yourself, eh?"

:: Hercules looked Cameron right in the face before one ear flopped down and his head turned to the side. Bored with Cameron, he began to ravish the dish of food. Cameron smirked before heading to his personal gym. After a work out including some kick boxing and martial arts along with weight lifting and crunches, Cameron hopped into the shower to drain off his sweat. As he looked at the clock it read 6 AM. It was time to get dressed and call Vivica to make sure she was on track, which she probably was. Cameron got dressed in a very nice stylish business suit with no tie and a dark blue blazer underneath. The look gave him a very updated and business appropriate Miami Vice look. Since he was opening a Hotel and he was advocating to a younger set, he wanted to look the part and he did, taking the Cell Phone off of his nightstand and simply saying the word "Vivica". The phone rang once as the Vivica's voice could be heard. ::

Vivica: Cameron, I am up and ready for the conference. It starts at noon and I would like to be there by 10:45 sharp to make sure everything is set up. I need you to call both Blaze and Morgan so that they are aware and know what to do and bring, but for now I have to go meet with the coordinators of the event. Talk to ya later sweets.

:: He could only sigh and shake his head. He didn't even give him time to respond to her. Pressing the end button he first called Morgan and then Blaze, getting both of their Vocemail's before leaving them a similar message telling them to meet Vivica and himself at 54th and Broadway for the Press Junket. It was an important event and he was counting on them, no matter how much he told himself that he shouldn't. Dusting off his suit to make sure it was lint free before sending a telepathic message to Haleigh as he didn't sense her in the buildings ::

"So Hales, I'm sitting here with this thought of hunger and I thought what better way to get rid of that than breakfast with you? Whaddya say?"

:: About two hours had passed since Alexis up and ran from Cameron's apartment. Sitting at the bar in Blaze's new club, Hellfire, Alexis sat alone calming her nerves with a good old fashion....diet coke. Yeah, she would of loved to drown her past away with a glass full of Brandy, but she had to stick to the 12 step cha cha, otherwise she was in even deeper shit. Picking up her glass, she finished off the last of her diet coke, placing the glass back down upon the bartop and pushing it forward. Sitting back against the back of her chair, the club had calmed since she first arrived--hell, calm is an understatement. The club was dead. Other than a couple making out in the corner, two gay men dancing to "We Are Family" in the middle of the dance floor, and a man sitting on the other side of the bar, everyone was pretty much done for the night. Closing her eyes, the meta human took a deep breath in and held it for a few moments, before exhaling. But of course, her moment of peace was short lived when the scrummy looking guy that was sitting way off to her left came hobbling over. "He.."

:: Not even opening her eyes, the moment she heard his horse voice, she interupted him knowing what he was going to say. ::

"Not in a thousand years."

:: The guy stopped, looking over Alexis. :: "Bitch." :: Walking past her, he headed out of Hellfire. Shaking her head, Alexis opened her eyes and gazed towards the eneterence of the club, seeing him walk out. Rolling her eyes, she sat forward once again reaching for her purse. Zipping it open, she took out her cell and flipped it open seeing it was nearly 6am in the morning. Sighing, she closed her phone and tossed it back into her purse. ::

"Who needs sleep anyway?"

:: Grabbing her purse off the table, she slipped off the barstool and began to head to the exit. Before the bartender could say anything about payment, Alexis lifted her hand in a dismissing manor as she left. ::

"Put it on my tab."

:: Walking out of Hellfire, Alexis squinted her eyes from the brightness of the morning sun. Another day gone...and another arrived. Stepping up to her Jaguar, she awaited her driver to open her door to head home and get dressed for work. ::

"No Ace... You've got that backwards. YOU are lucky you love flying, see, because if you didn't I STILL would've beguiled you into coming, and then you would've just been uncomfortable the entire flight." Haleigh laughed as Blaze suggested that she only wanted to get her alone, as she opened the trunk of a sleek black Aston Martin DB9. It was obviously one of her favorite vehicles, for Blaze would remember she had not one but TWO back home She shut the trunk with a muted thud and took Blazes hand, kneeling for suspense. "Well, actually, you see... I have a very important question to ask you.... and... I wanted you to have a nice story to tell your girlfriends about this moment. Will you... uh.. hehe... would you be willing to try new foods?" she stood again with a devlish smirk, leading Blaze to the passenger side of the sports car, opening the door and waiting for her to get in. "Keep you warm? Hmmm... I wonder what on earth I might do to accomplish that." She shut the car door promptly, walking around to the driver side and getting in. The car was already warmed up when they got in, which was a plus. Cameron's thoughts crept into her head. She smiled briefly, then put the car into gear and began to take them on a very scenic route from the airport into the city. Natalie Merchant's "Carnival" plays softly from the car sound system.

[i]Good Morning Stud. You're getting very good at this head stuff. Listen... you know, I'd LOVE to take you up on that offer.... but I'm not exactly in the area right now. Raincheck? What happened to Alexis, weren't you two?

"Hey Blaze... I just thought you'd enjoy a taste of the old lifestyle. This is a sales transaction... I'm sure you know vaguely how these go. Mr. Frederik and I go way back, I knew him in my Navy days... Of course... I look a lot different now... and he doesnt know its me... So if you could call me Lara for a while... I would greatly appreciate it."

:: Cameron winced at the thought of what had happened between Alexis and himself. How could they have done it again? He shook it off as he shot back at Haleigh, now being able to sense where she was and who she was with. He rolled his eyes and almost blew a few bolts as he figured out that she was FLYING when in about two or three hours, Blaze had to be at a Press Junket for Illustra with Morgan, Vivica and himself. ::

"Hales! You were flying!?! You were flying with the Senior Ad Campaign Manager who has a Press Junket to attend with Illustra and King Enterprises in two hours!?!? Get her back to New York! This is too important to miss! Don't think I am being coy! Morgan would kill her too! Get her back on land or I will make YOU face Morgan and Vivica about Blaze not being there. She is the first one UP!"

:: He shook his head as he looked at his watch which now read 9:45 am. That meant that if they were supposed to meet up before the meeting at 10:45, Haleigh would have an hour to get Blaze back to Illustra for them to set up and meet with some of the press before hand. It was only good business. Cameron sent another message back at Haleigh just to make sure she understood, picking up on her thoughts ::

"Look Lara, can't you go on a GUN run later? This is my business! I don't mean to be rude love, but I need Blaze with me there..."

< Erika pulled into her driveway as she parked in the garage. As she got out of her car she entered her house as she set the keys down in the bowl next to the back door and headed straight up her curved staircase and into the master bedroom. She began to undress as she hid behind an ornate Japanese Clothing Rack and let her long brown hair down which now reached to almost her lower back. She just didn't have the heart to cut something so beautiful. She slipped into a white spaghetti strap shirt and a pair of black sweatpants. Though she had originally wanted to take a bath and unwind, she realized that this wasn't really an option at the moment. She had to figure out what exactly was happening with Cameron and Alison. Erika needed to see that they were alright. She had spent so much time and energy ensuring their future that she didn't want anything to mess it up. As she closed the French Double Doors to her bedroom, Erika turned the corner and walked down the hall all the way to a wall with a picture of the Ocean that Erika had taken herself and a houseplant next to it. With a wave of her hand, the wall dissappeared and a door appeared in front of her. She turned the handle as she headed up one more flight of stairs before she stopped in the middle of her attic. This is where Erika weaved her craft. She had a beautiful bay window installed so that she was closer to the window. During her rituals in the Summer she kept the windows Open so that she could literally smell the water and the beach. She walked to the middle of the room where a rather large book on an antique stand was held. This was Erika King's Book of Shadows. While she still had her mother's, she kept it protected by a seal of magick in her altar so that nobody would be able to take it. She had tried to destroy it but her mother's magick was still too strong. It shocked at her touch. Flipping through the pages she came to the right spell. Waving her hand in the air a large pool of water formed in front of her and the book as it began to swirl slightly around resembling a calm whirlpool as she chanted the right spell. >

"Healing waters of the skies, bring your wisdom to my eyes, let me see what I desire, and let my vision never tire..."

< Her pool of water began to reflect the night skies as it seemed to be moving in and out. The view began to become a bird eye's view of the world as it shot down and through the clouds, the city of New York could be seen. She could see Cameron in his new apartment. It was a pretty nice place, though she had a feeling it was somewhat giving his ego an uneeded boost. She saw that he was preparing for a Press Junket with his hotels. She was really proud of him for what he was accomplishing and it hurt her that she could never really show it. She waved her hand once more, trying to focus on Alison. Knowing the trouble she suffered in the Citadle, she wanted to make sure that her older sister was okay. However when she did this she got a very dark feeling. She saw a dark purple sky with cracks of lightning in a moutainous desert scape. Erika felt afraid and scared, almost tempted by the Magick. Just then a crack of Dark Lightning blasted out from the puddle of water as Erika was blasted back, breaking her fall on a nearby couch. Lightning was blasting out of the portal like nothing. Could it be Kelly? She screamed at the top of her lungs. >

"Goddess Close Portal!"

< Erika's bright silver eyes faded as tears ran down her cheeks. She hated the way dark magick felt. It was so tempting and sinful. Whatever she had tapped into, she never wanted to do again, but she couldn't help but think that maybe that was where she had banished her mother, and what was worse was that she might have Alison with her. It was time. Erika had to go to New York. She had to stop this before it got too out of hand. It was time for a Family Reunion. >

** Watching Haleigh open up the trunk of the black Aston Martin DB9, she recalled seeing one back home at the apartment complex. Raising a brow while her eyes gleamed once she took Blaze's hand, getting down on her knees. **

"Hals! Come now, don't embarrass yourself by asking me that question. You know I'm NOT into relationships."

** Her grin was sinister as she retorted back, she couldn't allow Haleigh to get the last jest in. Winking to her comrade playfully. Walking to the passenger side she laughed once Hals opened it up for her, "awww, aren't you so sweet?" Leaning in, she gently kissed Haleigh on the cheek, causing the pilot of the jet to frown. Sitting down in the car, she cackled while putting her seat belt on. Turning to see Haleigh get in. **

"Nice wheels you've got here. And warm too, I would think these leather seats were heated. It reminds me of the old SUV I had, the infinity." Resting her head back into the head rest, "Its so beautiful here, do you come here often?" She asked casually, hiding her curiosity from within her tone. Turning her neck to peek out the windows, she saw the trees and mountains move by quickly. The mention of the name Laura caught her attention, who quickly locked eyes with Haleigh. Green meeting Blue for what seemed mere minutes. **

"Laura....all right then, does Ms. Croft have a last name too? I knew a Laura back on my missions. She was such a little lynx." Biting down on her lower lip, Blaze remembered such a woman with long brown hair and beautiful brown eyes, "she was stunning...a gorgeous creature. I worked with her a couple of times, but not by the name Blaze, back then I was referred to as Nikita. I had dyed my hair sunlight blonde and wore colored blue contacts. I used to work for an organization called Section One. I was a field agent....forced into doing whatever I was ordered as a level 7. My codename was Josephine....but the life was hard. Morgan saved me from the clutches of being canceled as I told you earlier. But when she did get to me, I had been gunned down. Her magicks restored my wounds, and luckily I lived. It was my old partner, Michael, who had come to finish the job. What made that hard was we were close in Section One, we had a budding romance. Although I think he slept with me to get Intel for Section One."

** Pausing for a minute when she remembered her cell phone, she had forgotten that she turned it off. Reaching into her long black leather trench coat, Blaze pulled out a small black and red Motorola flip phone. Turning it on as the beginning opening of Bitter Sweet Symphony played by the Verve. "Got a voicemail." Accessing her voice mail, Blaze listened to the message as her eyes went wide, "fuck!" She cursed quickly, "I forgot about the meeting today, oh dear..." Her mind raced to find a solution to this travel disaster, "Hals, you don't suppose you can somehow get us back home before noon? Cam, Viv, and Morg will kill me if I'm not there." Deleting Cameron's message, she got out of her voicemail service. **

"If not I'm sure I can teleport us...the perks of being a mutant."

- Though many believed Mystech to be over and done with after the sealing of the Citadle, it had been quite the opposite. It seems the Six had underestimated the sphere of influence the Corporation had over the world. While Mystech was not at full power, there were some units and divisions that were back up and running, and one in particular was back in action and planning something very bad. It was the Ex Agents Division who were responsible for figuring out who had been exterminated in the attack and who was able to be reanimated. Normally there was no magick involved in this job, but today, the Division had a Special Assignment. They were to bring back Agent Kelly King, Codename Witchfire. An agent who was under the employment of the Axis of Evil along with such other agents such as Black, Marauder and Nitrell. She had been a secret weapon, working her sway over dark magick so well that many didn't even know she existed. She was at the top of her game when she was given an assignment to kill two of her children as they had been foreseen as a threat to Mystech and the work that they produced. Without hesitation the cold hearted snake of a woman went into action but hadn't anticipated her other daughter stepping her in and Banishing her from the realm of Earth all together, thus securing the future of her two children, Cameron and Alison and the constitution of the Six. For over ten years she had been locked away in an unknown dimension with Scientists and Warlocks of Mystech working desperately to free her and let her continue on with her assignment. It had been a series of failures. Until Now. -

- The Warlocks had finally been able to bring her back as they sat in one of the many secret chambers of the Citadle working the spell that would transport her back to Earth. The room was completely dark save for a few candles and and men in hooded robes chanting over and over in a different language all together. In front of them was a circle that contained a reverse spiral. As the warlocks united in speech, the Spiral began to glow an iradescent red as it shot up and became a three dimensional column. The room was illuminated as the chanting continued louder and harder. The flawless form of a woman began to materialize bit by bit within the column, looking much like a computer animation of some sorts. The body continued to form as it was revealed to be Witchfire herself, Kelly King. Her black boots hit the ground with a soft click as her hair was flowing in the air due to the magicks being worked around her. Her eyes were of a bright silver. She was wearing her team uniform which was a form fitting body suit of red and black, as she looked down at the Warlocks still chanting away. She rolled her eyes and kicked one of them dead in the face with her boots. -

"You can STOP your damn chanting now! I'm here! Though I COULD have done it without you, and I was close too.. I know this sounds cliche, but TAKE me to your LEADER!"

- Her voice was cold and spiteful as she spoke to them all in a condescending tone as if they were nothing but mere bugs for her to squash. Kelly King was back. And she was ready for Revenge. -

:: Cameron wondered how exactly they were going to be able to return in time. As much as he hated having to do this, he was going to need to ask Morgan for a Stepping Disc to get Blaze back to Illustra as soon as possible. Sighing, he left his apartment, locking the door and making sure it was secure so that Hercules didn't get out. He got in the elevator and pressed the word T which stood for top floor. Those who were part of the Six knew that if they pressed the button it would take them to Morgan's apartment. As he sat there waiting, he was figuring out what he would say to all Ms. Victoria. They were never on the best of terms, but he knew that she took business as seriously as he did and would most likely perform the task if not just for her sister. ::

:: The Elevator made a dinging sound as the doors slid open to reveal a long hallway at the end of which were the large double doors to Morgan's Penthouse. He could instinctively feel the coldness that radiated from the doors. He laughed to himself and commented on the situation ::

"And so the lamb goes willingly into the Lion's Den.. Let us pray for him..."

:: He approached closer and closer to the doors and when he went to reach for them he was blasted back unknowingly by the Warding Spell Morgan had placed on the door to keep intruders out. Cameron got quickly to his feet as he looked at the doors, shaking his head. He called out in annoyance for the witch to come to him since he obviously wasn't getting to her anytime soon. ::

"MORGAN! Hello?! Are you There?"

:: There was no answer. Perhaps she had already left? He tried her cellphone but instantly got her voicemail. Prophet found himself at a dead end. Two of his most important people in the Mission were Missing in Action, though he figured Morgan had already left. Shaking his head, he went back in the elevator, looking at the clock which read 10:15 am. As the doors closed and he headed for the main lobby where he would be picked up and driven to the Press Junket he prayed that everyone would show up on time and in good form. ::

================================================== =====================

And So with Morgan and Blaze missing in action, and Cameron and Vivica left to fend for themselves, the day continues. With trouble brewing, a Desperate Erika King makes her way to New York as Witchfire rears her ugly head, ready to take the bounty that is rightfully hers. The Press Junket is in Fifteen Minutes and PROMISES to be an eventful one. The Rest of the Six would continue throughout their days normally, some planning on going to the Press Junket and maybe some staying home to rest, either way they could find some interesting things happening.

[scoffs again]"Croft... don't be silly. It's Vaughn. But I doubt you'll be needing it. Huh... alright La Femme. Sounds like you had a bit of a crush on this Laura character. Well... Micheal is probably dead so he got what he deserved... but really.. its the nature of the business... a risk we all agree to, I suppose."

They drove through the city, passing the industrial cityscape and going back into woodlands. This was where they slowed, pulling into a drive that lead to Lake Zurich. A British Racing Green Mercedes was parked off to the side, and Haleigh parked right behind it. They were in a national park it seemed, and the forest broke away to reveal a picnic area with wooden tables looking out over the large lake. A Man sat at one of the tables, eating a sandwich of sorts. Haleigh got out of the car and motioned for Blaze to follow.

Cool your heels, Sport... we're already here. This'll take 15 minutes tops... then I'll have your precious Senior Ad Campaign Manager back... are you trying to threaten me? You should KNOW better. Tell Morgan and Vivica, I don't care. hey, why don't you ask M if she can send us a stepping disc? I'm sure she'll love that... and YOU can be the outlet for her first spike of Anger. Don't think you're adept at spinning the tables Cameron King. I don't appreciate your evasive tactics here. Alexis split again, didn't she? God damnit Cameron... she's too flightly... too skittish.

Here she went again. And if Cameron tried to argue, Haleigh could just drum up more negative things to convince him against Alexis... after all... she knew about as much of Alexis as cameron did... so this time she had ammo. Haleigh stood beside Blaze long enough to reassure her. "Don't worry Ace... I'll get us back. I know some people who specialize in express transportation... we'll have to forgo lunch though, I'm afraid." She pulled the metal case out of the trunk and walked off, expecting Blaze to be at her side. They strolled past the man eating, who stopped them and asked for the time.

"Doesn't time stand still out here, Sir?"

Haleigh asked, and the man nodded and stood up to greet them, introducing himself as Frederik.

** Blaze got out of the car with Haleigh, a grin plastered over her full sensual lips. "Well....there's no rush. After all good things are worth it!" She glanced down at her left wrist for the time. "Sometimes, its good to be late, it makes an entrance."

** As they spotted a man on the bench sitting, Blaze remembered her 55 pr magnum strapped to her ankle, she always carried it with her. She didn't bother risking anything or anyone. She made a habit of securing a gun on her body secretly. Her black slacks hide the larger gun, but it reassured Blaze who didn't trust anyone except a select few. Crossing her arms across her chest, her eyes scanned the thick evergreen trees for any spies of the sort. Loosening up a bit, she clasped her hands together at her waist instead. **

"Ace? I like the sound of that."

** She said before going quiet. Cracking her neck to the side, relaxing her tense muscles. Once the Junction Meeting was over, she would hurry to get herself a massage, she needed one. Patiently she let Hals and her friend discuss business. Her eyes continued to scan the surroundings, she was still that ground agent, even now. How she missed it, she was almost envious of Haleigh. But all in all, she went with the flow. **

:: After a very long night and no sleep, Alexis was finally ready for a very long day at work. Walking out of her bedroom, Athena trotted behind her knowing Alexis was heading to the kitchen to feed her beloved pooch. Her eyes traveled towards the large floor to ceiling windows overlooking Manhattan..such a beautiful day--hopefully better than the later half of her night had been. Making her way passed the livingroom and into her kitchen, Alexis untied the bow that held together her pastel pink jacket and slipped it off not wanting to get dog food on it. Her outfit (http://www2.victoriassecret.com/images/prodlgvw/V235768.jpg) contrary to yesterday's was very "plain"...covering her entire body and being of knee length. Although the outfit was Dolce and Gabanna and still very sexy compaired to most woman's buisness suites, it was the plainer of the bunch in Alexis' closet. Bending down, she opened up one of the larger cabinets under her island revealing shelves and shelves of Pedigree canned dog food. On an average day Athena could eat anywhere from ten cans of food a day...she was afterall a big dog. (And i'm not kidding lol). Taking about five cans of food out from the cabinet, she glanced over at Athena seeing her begin to dance in anticipation. Laughing, she finally stood, closing the cabinets on her way up. ::

"Calm down you pig.."

:: Smiling, Athena barked as Alexis began to pop open the cans of dog food. Walking over to the other end of the kitchen to grab her bowl, Athena took it upon herself to jump up on the counter...which wasn't much of a jump, and start licking the can. Turning around, Alexis began to crack up, making her way over to her dog. ::

"What are you doing! Get down...i'm almost done."

:: Giggling, Athena was almost eye to eye with Alexis standing on her hind legs. She was a massive dog..but thats what Alexis liked. None of those prissy little poodle types, but a dog you can really hug. Gently pushing Athena off the counter, Alexis soon scooped all the food into Athena's bowl and headed over to where her water bowl was to place the food next to it. Dancing behind in in excitment, the moment Alexis placed the food down, Athena slid infront of the bowl and began to chow down like that was the only food left on the face of the Earth. Smiling, Alexis rolled her eyes and shook her head, patting Athena's behind before she turned around and headed back to the island in her kitchen. Picking up her cell phone, Alexis hit speed dial 1 and placed the phone up to her ear. Holding the phone up against her ear with her shoulder, Alexis began to clean up the cans and place them in the trash. ::

"Tracy, I want a Starbucks Grande Vanilla Cappachino with half and half milk and a blueberry muffin on my desk by the time I get to work. Understand."

:: Grabbing the phone with her hand once more, she rolled her eyes at Tracy's comments on how the closest Starbucks was 15 blocks away from the Tempo headquarters because the one in the lobby of Tempo is closed for construction. Walking passed Athena as she headed out of the kitchen, she patted her companion once again on the back, before heading to the front door. Sighing out of annoyence, Alexis grabbed her camel colored Fendi bag off the table and paused for a moment. ::

"I don't care if the closest Starbucks is across the bridge in New Jersey. I want my coffee and muffin. And I want it by the time I get to my desk. You have fifteen minutes."

:: Closing her phone, Alexis placed it into her purse and zipped it up, sighing once again. Picking up her keys, she opened her apartment door and stepped out into the hall. ::

"I swear...after next weeks deadline, i'm searching for a new assistant..."

:: Closing the door, she placed the key into the key hole and locked the apartment door. Turning around, she began to walk down the hall to the express elevator. ::

"..one who surpasses the brain capacity of a pea."

:: Pushing the down button, Alexis awaited for the elevator to come and up and get her. ::

"It is nice to finally meet you, Mrs. Vaughn. Its a beautiful day." The man surprisingly spoke english-- without an accent.

"Mr. Frederik... it's nice to see you too. I would love to admire the scenery... but this must be quick. You have the intel?"

Frederick frowned, and then went into his suitcase and pulled out a manilla folder. Haleigh set the metal case on the picnic table and unclasped it. There was a hell of a lot of money neatly packed into the case, and Frederick checked a few stacks, handing the packet over to Haleigh. Haleigh looked briefly at the pages inside. She slid the intel back into the folder as the man closed the case and smiled guiltily.

Frederik-"I feel a pang of shame... betraying my country.... I wonder if the value we agreed on is enough."

"Having second thoughts? In your hands is enough money for you, your wife, and the next THREE generations of your bloodline to live quite comfortably. Besides... YOU are a man of no country... and even if you WERE.... its not like this is something you haven't done before."

Frederik-"I'm afraid I have no idea what you are refering to, Mrs Vaughn. And My wife died two years ago.... I have no children. Sometimes I wonder if any amount of moeny will do me any good. Sometimes I wish to simply be put out of my misery."

Haleigh chuckled, she looked at Blaze and then back to Frederik. She reaches under her coat and pulls out her gun. She pulls the slide back to load the chamber and holds it out to Blaze, grinning. "Well... That can be arranged. Here Ace... end his suffering." Frederik was taken aback, but knew enough not to show it. Not wanting to seem skittish... he cracked a smile and played along.

Frederik-"Sure.... go ahead. Why Not."

** Blaze continued to scan the picnic area for any sign of intruders. It was obvious she had Haleigh's back in case things got hectic. Shivering slightly at the colder temperature's here, she purposely blew her breath into the air. In need of a cigarette, Blaze peeled back her trench coat, reaching inside for a cigarette. Placing between her lips, she turned to the tree behind her and striking her fingernail over it. Catching her nail on fire, lighting her cig until she blew out the small flame. Inhaling once, she tilted her head to the side, blowing free smoke from her lips. Her appearance was rather unmoving, she seemed more like a body guard then just a friend. Listening to Hals and her contact converse when she raised an eyebrow. In her line of work, it was never good to be ever greedy with what you were given. Noticing Hal's glance at her and then her contact, Blaze knew she was up to something, but what? Her answer would be arriving a minute later. **

"Put him out of his misery? Well, if you insist."

** Without any hesitation, Blaze scooped up the gun in Haleigh's hands. Smoke surrounding her as she outstretched her left hand. Taking her cigarette out with her right hand, she skillfully flicked it away. Hitting the ground, the fire vanished, thanks to Blaze. Wrapping her right hand around her left hand, she stared at him for a bit. Her adrenaline bumped, it had been a while since she handled a gun but it felt intensely good. Tilting her head to the side, Blaze smirked. **

** Her actions were quiet when her index finger began to apply pressure to the trigger. Suddenly she pressed it, as the sound of a trigger was heard. It was obvious this was probably some sort of test, but Blaze didn't realize this. Her killer instincts were still there and what was worse, she was enjoying this. It was proven in her sage green eyes, which gleamed with delight. **

The crack that was usually associated with gunfire didn't come. Instead, a quiet 'flit' emitted as the bullet fired. The gun was equipped with a silencer, and it must have been state of the art... for its wasnt the customary cylindrical suppressor, but a two inch extention of the barrel... so that it simply looked like the end of the barrel. Frederik's face registered shock, and the older man fell back onto the picnic table and bench, clutching his right upper chest. Haleigh merely smiled.

Frederik-"You bitch! You SHOT me!"

"Way to state the obvious, Johnson. You still got it, Ace. My turn." Haleigh gently took the gun back from Blaze. She smiled and winked, then turned back on the man whos blood was staining his expensive white business shirt.

Frederik-"Wait a minute... what did you call me? How do you know my name?"

"Oh... you know mine too, Sir. I really am sorry about your wife. Sharon was a geniunely nice person. She deserved better. All these years... I've just wanted to ask... how could you do it? We TRUSTED you, you son of a bitch. Jimmy, Eric and David DIED... Cass and I will NEVER be the same. We didn't deserve that. You, however... you got your money... you got your relocation and your scotch-free way out of the Navy.... and NOW... you're going to get what you deserve, you fucking coward." Haleigh leaned over the man... she pressed the muzzle against his heart.

Frederik-"Davidoff.... Haleigh! It isn't possible... I spoke at your funeral!"

"Yes... and in spite of myself... it was a very beautiful speech."

Frederik-"You're psychotic..."

"Perhaps... yet still.... I'm better off than you.... you're DEAD." The man tried to plead with her to have mercy.... but Haleigh fired into his chest without blinking, and then once again point-blank in the forehead for good measure. Haleigh looked up at blaze, expressionless. She tucked the 22 back into its holster and reached across the man to put the envelope inside the metal briefcase and reclasp it, lifting it from the table easily. She narrowed her eyes and pulled softly on her earlobe. She took a few steps to the left and then three forward and stopped. She tapped into the local radiowaves and mentally cycled to the appropriate frequency.

"Phoenix to Base." She waited before continuing. "Yeah, I need a cleaner. One deceased. And Instant transport, Two souls. Affirmative. No, minimal mess. Two females, one package. Two vehicles.... they can be returned to the Zurich station. .... We'll be here." Haleigh looked at her watch. 10:59. And Time to Spare, she thought. she looked up, giving Blaze a soft smile, walking back over near here.

"You doing alright? You did a great job Ace. You watched my six, you kept your cool, you did what I requested without questioning me... If only I had more people in the field like you. Morgan's going to want to kill me for even considering this... but I want you to take your time with this... I'd like you to return to the business. Work for me. I don't know what your doing as Senior Ad Campaign Manager. Its noble, but its ludacris. People like you and me... we belong in THIS business. I tried to do that civilian thing with Liquid Crystal Images. I love photography... but all I could EVER think about was CI, getting it up and running and constructing the HQ beneath LCI.... This makes me happy, as fucked up as it is. It makes YOU happy too, I can tell. Just think about. no answer now... sleep on it. In the meantime... lets get you back to New York before Cameron has a meltdown and Morgan puts a hit out on me. Here's our Ride."

A Tall, mid-twenties man appeared out of thin air, and so did an older, late thirties man. the late thirties man turned to the body of Frederik... the younger man walked over to Haleigh and Blaze and extended a hand. Haleigh, briefcase in one hand, took one of his hands with her other.

"Lobby floor Ladies room, Parthenon Hotel, New York, New York."

As Soon as Blaze took the man's hand, the three were off.

** Smoke blew softly off Blaze's gun, who stood over Haleigh's contact with a look of a predatory animal. She didn't speak anything, which seemed to make it worse. Scanning him over with her eyes for any sort of weapon. Handing the gun back to Hal's when she ended the torment, putting her contact out of his miery. Not even blinking, Fox calmly locked eyes at Hal who offered her a position. **

"I accept your offer, I don't need time. Working in a stuffy office isn't for me. I can be replaced."

** She grinned when she turned to see another man approach. Taking his hand firmly, she shook it. In that split second they were gone. **
