<< far below the chaos of the first floor, in the dark, eeriely silent sanctum of the citadle, Haleigh and Cameron were being held captive by the heartless mage, Imagiomg, the mystical powerhouse of MysTech. he had already humbled and injured Black Widow and Prophet. now they were imprisoned in state of the art tech....subject to his every whim. He seemed for the most part, to be more interested in prepping a large machine far across what was actually the Bio Systems lab. The same lab where Tempest and Foxfire had been tortured many times before>>
<< after reminding Haleigh just who had the upper hand with a painfull blast of dark lightning, Imagiomg left her to reel from the pain as he glided past Prophet and returned to a large control console....his skeletal hands slowly but deliberately pressing buttons and running over control pads...as a large , tall standing machine began to blink , beep and surge to life...it was another Gene Splicer....but what was its purpose here?>>
Imagiomg: << glaring at Haleigh from across the room>>Consider yourself lucky, insolent wench. Apparently Adam Chandler and Christopher Victory have deemed you usefull for more than the mere "gofer" you have been for the past few years.
<< the lights faded slowly to black around them ...leaving them encompassed by a cold darkness....with only the hum of "energy" and "power" from the machines providing a lull to keep them both somewhat calm..even as they experienced tremendous nightmare flashbacks brought on by Imagiomg's ferocious attacks back at that hangar dock area>>
<< Cameron and Haleigh seemed LESS concerned about their present situation...as both seemed to be locked in a "stand by" state of mind>>

:: a ray of light shines down as a tall, strapping man steps forward::
Ms. Haleigh Davidoff. It's unfortunate that our little reunion occurrs under such circumstances. But you've betrayed MysTech. You've compromised the security and interest of MysTech by providing that troublesome witch Spellbinder a way to directly pose a threat to myself and Christopher.
I had higher hopes for you. You were always such an efficient, deadly woman being that you never cared about anyone but yourself.
:: He walked forward and placed has hand under Haleigh's face::
you are like the daughter i never had...possessing the personality I tried to instill in my own daughter Alexis. But alas...she was never really much of a success. Too much like her mother.
:: he forcibly turns her face to the side as he smirks::
look at you now, strung up and at our disposal. Did you really think that witch spellbinder and her co horts would stop us? By bringing her here, you merely made our job EASIER! We will capture her, and use her incredible mystical might to usher in a NEW age ...with MysTech as the dominating force on ALL fronts globally!
:: he walks over to Prophet::
Cameron King, a little boy playing a man's game. Your greatest flaw is your lack of rapport with women. Had you been up on your game tonight, you might not be here next to your little friend over there. Guardian, Spellbinder, Shockwave and Tempest....those are some powerful women arent they? they could've kept you safe...one of THEM in fact, wouldve been QUITE qualified to have "looked after you"...after all...what are SISTERS FOR?
:: several floating liquid crystal monitors flickered into view in the air in front of Haliegh and Cameron...each one featuring a beautiful picture of Spellbinder, Guardian Shockwave and Tempest....but what was Adam implying? was one of these women....most of whom Cameron had ridiculed and dispised actually his SISTER!??::
My associate and partner, Christopher Victory will be along shortly. You'll remember him, he's the father of Spellbinder and Foxfire. He's also the mastermind behind the sentinels that were dispatched after you all earlier.
:: Adam was a cold, caculated man. a steady, yet unforgiving tone of voice and a healthy, athletic posture suggested that this was no ordinary man at all...as he now planted some provocative seeds of thought in both the minds of Cameron and Haleigh::
at the moment, Spellbinder, Shockwave, Guardian and Foxfire are fighting against Black....im sure the two WITCHES are learning just how UNEFFECTIVE their magick can be right now...but knowing Spellbinder, as indomitable as she is, they will evade him long enough to find their way down here. How surprised they will all be when they see you two are still alive after all......unless of course Spellbinder decides to evacuate them all from the Citadle with her teleportation power...leaving you two quite alone and quite at the mercy of US.
:: he smirked as he looked upon his two captors::

Haleigh was still trembling when Adam appeared... her eyes fluttered open and then shut tightly against the light of his arrival. She looked up as he approached her... she was coming back around... AGAIN. by now she would've liked to just resign to death, finally. She'd been through enough.... five years of a cursed existance and tonight had been enough to KILL ten normal people.... but for some reason... she only fell unconscious for a few seconds, and then woke back up to reality. Was Gaurdian right? Did even hell refuse to take her? Haleigh stared at Adam. Her eyes were glassy and bloodshot... but she seemed to be listening to him, as she scoffed at the idea of betraying Mystech.
"I betrayed Mystech? Have you gone mad? Mystech's done nothing but undermine and outbid my agency for the past year and a half. Nothing personal Doctor, really... its just business. I was losing business, My apologies for not being particularly happy with that. Oh.... have I disappointed you, Doc? Forgive your girl her trespass. I really thought you'd be pleased with me... after all... I brought your philandering daughter along too... in doing so... given you a second chance."
Haleigh was too weak to fight his touch... she pulled on her restraints softly, not to break them as she was trying earlier, but merely to illustrate that she couldn't reach her face, bound the way she was. She was weaking jeering at him... but would you expect anything less? "Hey, I've an itch on my jawline there. Can't exactly reach. D'you mind?" She asked lightly and allowed her head to be turned. She seemed to allow his next words to have more of an effect on her. her brow furrowed, a countenance as though she was hurt by what he'd said about being strung up. She softly pulled her face from his touch, facing him again but looking down for a few seconds. Oh yeah... she could act. She looked up at him again... she didnt seem angry anymore.. just slighty irritated. Strangely enough... she didnt seem irritated AT him... just annoyed in general at her plan not working.
"Since you obviously meant the daughter comment as a compliment... I'm going to treat it as such... Come now Doc... I'm not a fool... I wasn't trying to STOP you... just bring you down a notch. PFFFT... you can HAVE Spellbinder... and her sniveling little DOG Alison too. I hadnt planned on Eva... or Cameron... they kind of just tagged along. But Eva is a former patient, no? Come now... you must be happy to have her back?"
Haleigh listened as he spoke to Cameron. There was something undeniably familiar about his speech patterns, his voice. She didn't recognize the man's face... but his voice was there somewhere... she's have to ask later. She looked up at the monitors... pictures of the whole crew... so he had a sister? Well... wasnt THAT just nice? Haleigh had an idea though... and it was worth a try.
"Oh, well... isn't this just becoming one fucked up Addams family reunion? Doc... come on... turn me loose. I'm not involved with any of these people. I just met them at the beginning of what has been a very long, very exhuasting day. We could pool our resources, you and i... Who said a father-daughter team HAS to be bloodrelated? I've always admired you, though you thwarted my recent plans... your determination matches my own. We could be a great deal of help to one another."

:: Cameron was extremely worn out and tired from the entirety of events from the nights and all he wanted was to go home, but that didn't seem like it was going to happen. As he was still being haunted by these faint images of his mother, he had no clue what they meant and no clue why he was seeing them now and hadn't been able to before. Luckily for him, Ima had been rather interested in Haleigh and not himself which let him rest a little, save for the pain from the Demon Mage's powerful magic assaults on his body. Soon all that could be heard was a humming sound and all that could be seen was blackness. This was the scary part. Was the mage going to end their life now or would he spare or did they have some sort of purpose. Cameron couldn't help but think that if Mystech wanted them dead, they already would be. Somehow he thought that maybe they would be forced into being used against Spellbinder and the rest, even though there wouldn't be much coercing going on there. As a ray of light flashed down and a rather shadowy seeming man appeared in their line of sight as he walked closer to them. His cocky swagger and beady eyes let him be known as Adam Chandler who was none other than Lex's father, whom he had seen through his mental scan of Shockwave in their first meeting. Before he could say a word, Prophet looked up and smiled. ::
"Mr. Chandler, could it be anyone else? Come join the fun! I am sure they have some LOVELY energy chains around here just for you! You're missing out..."
He lowered his head and was left back to his thoughts when he was pulled into another past memory. He was still a baby, still in the hospital from what he gathered. In the room with the big window where families go and see children right after they are born. In the window he saw three people. A tall and handsome looking man who resembled himself and two little girls, one taller than the other. Her look and whole persona let her off to be the bigger sister as the littler one was in pig tails jumping up and down to see who this new visitor was. He watched as the man pointed right at Cameron and said "That's him.. that's your little brother.. Cameron..." Cameron was completely lost in his own thoughts. Those were his sisters and his father? This was the first time he had ever seen any of them in his life time. Cameron thought for sure that his father was non existant and that he had no siblings. He was lost in bliss of the moment when he was hit with a cold blast of negativity. A shrill woman's voice could be heard from down the hall. "JONATHON! COME ON! I DON'T HAVE TIME! I HAVE A NEW ASSIGNMENT! YOU KNOW I'M NOT KEEPING THAT THING!" Cameron soon felt the sorrow he had for so many years, the void, the emptiness. His own mother despised him and his father did nothing to stop her from getting rid of him. Before Cameron could delve any further, he was snapped back to reality just as Adam turned back to Cameron and smirked.
:: Cameron could only roll his eyes at Adam's comments, which was beginning to be his trademark look. He had plenty of rapport with women. Just not the tore up raggady bitches of this makeshift team. As soon as Adam made the comment of a sister, Prophet's entire body tensed up as he seemed paralyzed with fear as the floating pictures of the women of the team. One of them was his SISTER? And his own abilities as a Telepath couldn't allow him to see which one? It just didn't make sense. As Adam Chandler turned to the mage and began to talk more he couldn't help but see that Adam was one annoying mother fucker who liked the sound of his own voice more than anything else. If Adam had been Cameron's father, he would have tried to kill him to. He suddenly felt more respect for Alexis as he let Adam continue, doing the whole speel on them being at his mercy. He could definitely see how these annoying men spawned their equally annoying daughters. ::
:: He was completely shocked at Haleigh's plan for the two to work together, and couldn't tell if she was just playing with him or not, his powers too weak to probe her mind. Cameron decided his best plan of action was to just go along with his initial reaction. Shock. ::
"Haleigh! You bitch! I swear to fucking god if you go with that man that after I kill Alison, Morgan, Alexis and Eva, I will take great pleasure in torturing your ass!"
:: Cameron hoped that was the appropriate reaction, but he couldn't help but think that if Haleigh wasn't joking, Cameron would be in for a world of hurt. ::

Haleigh was recovering from the blast slowly, her trembling had given way to just occaisional shivers, she was still glistening with a cold sweat. She looked over at Cameron... she appeared to be evauluating him sharply... and she didnt at all seem offput by his reaction, as though she were used to death threats. She pulled in a slow breath.... it was no surprise that she had her own agenda in proposing a joint effort with Adam... the truth was that she was merely playing the hand she'd been dealt. She couldn't reveal her intentions to Cameron without risking revealing them to Adam as well... for the Doc COULD be telepathic... then again.... she couldnt be certain she even wanted Cameron to be privvy to her plans... but it could be seen she was scheming... against WHO exactly was the true question. Her words would reveal only what intentions they needed to see. Manipulation was her gift, it was true.
"You KNOW..... you're in NO POSITION to be making threats right now, buddy. Cameron.... it might just be the fact that you're in your underwear.... or that I'm restrained and exhausted. I must tell you... you're kind of sexy when youre angry. Nevertheless... lets be REALISTIC here. Stop making new enemies out of EVERYONE for ONE second and lets all think this through. ALL three of us want the SAME thing at this point. Morgan had condescended upon one too many, Alison has just ROYALLY pissed off everyone she could, Alexis was all high and mighty all goddamn night and then she abandonned us... and Eva.. oh Eva.... so full of SHIT, she's got her head too far up alison's ass to see that the SECOND she outlives her usefullness will be the same second Alison uses to plot her demise... JUST like she did to me and you. Furthermore... they are ALL expecting to see our bodies on their way out, perhaps strewn across the floor or spattered upon the Access tunnel walls. Doctor Chandler is RIGHT... IMAGINE their surprise when they happen upon a couple of ghosts? Alison is so sure of her visions... but she forgets that glimpses of the future are intended to WARN us of what is to come... IF we continue our path.... however... we are not doomed... we can still CHANGE our destiny if we so choose. We all want them DEAD... we would reach our goal faster if we UNITED instead of fighting each other. our shit can come later."

::conversing with Imagiomg a few feet away, Adam SEEMED to be unaware of the apparent "dissention" forming between the two captives::
::he returned forward::
ah, i see that you two are finally beginning to reveal your more base instincts.
Ms. Davidoff, your willingness to shed any "dead weight" has always been one of your greatest assets. However, I'm afraid there is something you arent aware of. You see, Clandestine Intelligence is nothing more than a tributary of MysTech.
Five years ago, when the take over actually occurred, you were one of the more "problematic" factors. So in order to reign you in, we allowed your capture during a mission. You might remember your "friends" during your time in captivity..........
:: a larger screen appears behind the floating screens featuring the women ...any one of whom could be cameron's sister...the larger screen flickers on..showing the two men that were Haleigh's interrogators/torturers..as well as the whole room ..including the one sided mirror from which the cold voice commanded the two men came::
truly, your will to survive and triumph is almost a match for that of Spellbinder's. it's no wonder you two lock horns. She being a raging feminist and you representing all that she HATES in a man with your cunning, cut throat tactics.
it was by no mere accident that you escaped. For these men were under the impression they were working for an entirely DIFFERENT entity and when we no longer had use for them, we sent Imagiomg to dispatch them utterly..and facilitate your release. He scrambled your memories long enough to allow you to reinvent yourself and assume a more functional role following your caper with us.
:: the screen shows scens of Imagiomg wrecking havoc on the men and their pitifiul weapons...decimating them with his magick...::
Imagiomg is the only real defense we have against Spellbinder and Guardian. their magicks are unique...far more powerful than most any other practicioner of magick that we've tracked in decades...but Spellbinder is special...she has access to true arcane magick..the BLACKEST magick we've ever seen. This magick is not of the earth. and apparently even SHE hasnt bothered to ponder how she has access to it, but WE have done exhaustive research on her since our last encounter. She apparently is apart of some "trinity" there are two OTHER beings who posses her baseline dna...they are dopplegangers!
:: images of three women...spellbinder in the center, followed by Magik on the left and Darkchilde on the right flash into view...the UNCANNY RESEMBLANCE between these three women was remarkable...their eye color was the ONLY differentiating feature among them...and the fact that one of them wore eldritch armour. Shortly after, Images of Spellbinder unleashing her magicks against Black and Axis of Evil play across the screen...the sound effects of the battle are amazing::
We have tried MANY times to capture this woman....and failed. Even with the use of Black, a creature her own father, Christopher Victory meticulously engineered to RESIST Spellbinder's magicks....we were only able to capture her sister! We couldnt risk her learning about her sister's surviving that caper and attacking us then..we were totally unprepared to deal with someone with the magickal power equivalent to that of an ATOM BOMB. We needed time. We have learned, after countless hours of research and the loss of MANY of our own warlocks, that Spellbinder's power originates from a dimension known as Limbo...a dimension that violates time and space. It is from THIS dimension that the Techno Organic virus originates!
a group of our scientists and warlocks...journeyed to the furthest reaches of the artic circle...where apparently the barrier between Earth and Limbo is weakest and by SHEER random luck...found and captured what can only be described as a Demon!
::images of the cold, violent regions of the artic circle are shown..as the large demon is restrained in a magnetic field and then once again inside the bio systems lab::
these creatuers can only be contained by certain kinds of energy. obviously magick is one of them, along with plasma and lightning. We wanted to see if we could use this startling new aquisition in our attempts to capture and subjugate spellbinder. all human experimentation prooved fatal...although splicing humans with other animal dna/characteristics allowed some of the test subjects to survive TO infection long enough to exhibit some unusual abilities. our windfall came when Christopher Victory volunteered his own daughter, Foxfire for experiementation. Truly the man is without a heart..much like yourself.
:: play backs of the painfull torture of Foxfire broad cast...split screen::
Imagiomg knew that Guardian and Spellbinder would be made aware of the situation..due to the rapport the two sisters share. YOURE involement was quite a surprise..and actually sped up the entire process. Shockwave, my wayward "daughter" along with Eva Valentine were long sought after fugitives of MysTech, we regularly made attempts to collect them. they always narrowly managed to escape. Guardian was the wild card that I hadnt anticipated. With her extremely analytical mind and tactical savvy, she gathered you all together....including her baby brother...CAMERON KING.
:: looking over at the young mutant::
yes, arrogant pup, Alison Marble is your sister. The FIRST born of your sibilings..and by far the one with the blackest heart. her magick augments ALL of her other powers giving her a destructive edge to match her vindictive soul. Your mother would be SO PROUD...if she hadnt prooved to be such a liability ..and thus had to be eliminated.
Ms. Davidoff, of all these intruders in the Citadle tonight...you and Spellbinder pose the greatest threat. the knowledge and memories you have, if you revealed them, could DESTROY MysTech and Spellbinder, if left uncheck would bring this place down around us all.
But what your hot headed friend Cameron here has failed to see..is the bigger picture.
:: a six pointed star shimmers into view on the screen
Foxfire and Tempest, who represent powerful elemental extremes ...
:: their images shift to two different positions::
Guardian, who holds sway over time and space
:: her image moves to another point::
Shockwave...my renegade "daughter"...who is the "north star"...with power over energy itself
:: her image shifts to another point::
Yourself...the technological force of the group...far more valuable than your powers..is the strength of your mind!
:: her own image shimmers into view at yet another point of the star::
Cameron King...the telepath/telekinetic ...who ..under IDEAL circumstances ...would be the HEART of the group but given the rampant dysfunction among the lot of you...its not saying that much
:: his image appears at a point::
and Spellbinder....the sorceress who circumvents time and space...and through her...travel not only around the earth...but to OTHER WORLDS is possible.
::her image appears at the northern most point::
ALL of you....The Six were brought together by design that even Guardian couldnt hope to comprehend..despite her far reach as a precog.
But alas....your formation would herald the end of MysTech. Family ties would be renewed...strength and courage would be fueled..and the annoying little scenario of "good conquering evil" comes to mind..not to mention that my daughter and spellbinder want nothing more than to see myself and christopher dead...and I'm afraid we cannot allow that.
:: the screens fade to black::
which is why...:: turning to Imagiomg::
i want Spellbinder and Black Widow stunned and placed in stasis...the rest...EXPUNGED!

Haleigh listened... she was partly so stunned that for once, she had nothing to say. NOW she wanted to kill Adam.... but she did her best not to show it. she'd begun to steadily pull on her restraints... as though they might break... as the images of her interrogators filled the screen... Haleigh grit her teeth so tightly it was a wonder they didnt shatter. she watched the battle scenes... she had seen pictures but this was a MUCH more lifelike representation... Haleigh straightened her back as Foxfire's torturewas shown... for a few seconds, however brief, it almost seemed like Haleigh was empathic to her suffering... she'd been there... done that... and barely made it out with her life.... Adam turned to talk to cameron, and then turned back to Haleigh, and she pointed at him as best she could with her restraints and gestured back and forth between herself and Chandler.
"Okay.... you and I... We're gonna have a SERIOUS talk when all this is over... our shit DEFINITELY comes later."
Haleigh watches to screens... this is certainly a twist of events... THESE six people, including herself, were SUPPOSED to work together? Like, be in the same vacinity without strangling each other? Haleigh shifted her gaze to Adam... who'd finally stop to take a breath, finished explaining.
"Okay.... thats a decent picture of me... and those WERE nice things you said... but if you really wanted to flatter me... you could've made ME the north star. On that note.... I want to let you know that I KNOW that in the comment about good versus evil, you were implying that i was GOOD... and that i RESENT that, it was a horrible thing to say, and i feel you should take it back."
She stopped.... as she looked from Adam to Im.
"WHOA! Whoa, hey... HOLD ON a second... stunning? Theres no need for that... that shit HURTS! COME ON... let me help. OF COURSE you can't let them succeed... but if you think your mage can handle them youre kidding yourself. together theyre TOO powerful. sure, wipe out the rest of those ingrates.... You know a lot about me... so you must know that I have YEARS of sniper training. I can lay waste to the lot of them from 500 yards away. Pick 'em off one by one before they even realize half of them are gone.... They wouldn't have a chance! What do i have to do? Who do I have to KILL before you'll believe I can serve YOUR interests as well?"

As Haleigh countered his previous statements, he listened with concentration and intent. He needed to see where this situation was going, if Haleigh was trying to pull the wool over his eyes or not. The truth was, if Adam was a telepath as well, he probably would have already picked up on Haleigh's true intentions. The points the girl made were very valid. Cameron couldn't help but wonder why he felt attached to the group even though he utterly despised each and every one of them. Especially Alison. Her plan even made sense. It was the perfect way to get their revenge and the fact that either of them could possibly conceive of working against the group was proof of their characteristics of self preservation and arrogance. Before Cameron could even answer to Haleigh's proposition, he was cut off by Adam who began to explain the entire reason of their own journey down into the Citadle. The reasons, the causes and the plan of action. Everything had been so intricately planned, so perfectly plotted. It seemed the group was brought together by fate, but anyone who expected this group of six to work together was sadly mistaken. Cameron was getting irritated as he just wanted Adam to skip down to the part of his own sister, which he knew the Doctor would get to soon enough. All of a sudden. It was complete and udder shocked. Prophet had no comments, no witty repitoire, no sarcasm. He had figured out the identity of his own sister. His sister was the woman of whom he felt the most disdaint for in the group. His sister was Guardian. Alison King.
Images flowed to Cameron as he suddenly became aware of his connection to Alison, as if his own psychic powers were catching up to him. He got brief flashes of Alison's life, his father, his mother, his other sister. Her name was Erika. It was all coming back so fast, like somehow he had been barred from knowing his family until he figured it out for himself. He saw a rather large Estate in Newport Beach right next to the water on top of a large mountain. He saw a Book of Shadows. A very attractive and seemingly good woman stared him dead in the eyes, her hands on the book. She spoke no words, but her stare was worth a thousand words. It was as if she was calling to him. He knew she was family. He knew it was his other sister. What did this all mean?
Cameron was snapped back to reality when he heard as Adam spoke to the boney handed mage telling him to infect Spellbinder and Haleigh with the TO Virus and to exponge the rest of the group. His first instinct was to strike a deal as the business man side of him always would. As Haleigh plead her case, all Prophet could do was chime in with his own plea for his life, trying to seem as little desperate as possible. He spoke to Adam Chandler in a cool and even tone.
"Dr. Chandler. I assure you. Killing me is not something you want to do. If you want to truly torture Spellbinder which I am sure Christopher will want, what better way than to lose two of her closest bonds in one night. We know Black get rid of Foxfire, he has almost done it once before, but let's get back to the person who helped Spellbinder through all of this. Alison. Kill her and Morgan's spirit will completely die. She will be no match for Black. Too distraught. You can use me to get rid of Alison. I can face her as her brother. Distract her, while you and Dr. Victory go in for the kill. Use me to get your revenge and I will be under contract with Mystech. I will swear alleigance. All I ask is for my life and the chance to make this happen."
The fire and manipulation that Cameron had shown was something that Adam had seen before. In Cameron's mother, Kelly King, also known as Witchfyre. Kelly had always gotten her way out of trouble even when things seemed dire and had been one of the more powerful and covert members of the Axis of Evil, usually working in complete secret, working her magicks in passive ways, manipulating and controlling their enemies. Her work was so good that many didn't even know she existed. She was a powerful witch and the fire that once brewed inside her was well alive in her children. It seemed almost scary to Adam, even Prophet's face was hauntingly similar. His offer was a good one, and all things considered, he could be used as a great weapon against Alison.

Imagiomg: << gliding forth, and now in full view once more, he immediately interrupted Cameron...with his own powerful, deep yet warped sounding voice>>
SILENCE! this is not a round table at a business meeting. the time for your end is now at hand! but first..
<< looking at Haleigh>>
We will SEE just how true to form you are, girl.
<< Imagiomg lifted his hands...and with a crackling sound of electricity, the force restraints were deactivated on both of them, and the cylindrical containment fields flickered off as well.>>
Haleigh Davidoff...if you are to earn your keep...you must first DESTROY Cameron King as well. For if he faces Guardian tonight, he will catalyze her memory into full capacity, allowing the bond as brother and sister to overcome the animosity between them...if only long enough to allow her to facilitate his rescue. MysTech cannot allow the lot of you to constitute The Six and therefore, you either destroy him now....or I will deal with BOTH of you!
<< Cameron and Haleigh fall to the floor...and in a quick swirl of magicks..they are both clothed in black ensembles one male oriented, one female....giving them both a simple, yet sleek, contoured look that flatterd both their figures>>

:: standing now in the shadows, only his glowing eyes could be seen. a similar appearence to that of Guardian in the access Tunnels::
ahh Cameron, I'm afraid your manipulative wheeling and dealing is admirable. always quick to find a solution that will benefit you while appearing to benefit the other party as well.
But i know that deep down, YOU know that you cannot prevail against Guardian. You see...as it stands now. She thinks your dead..and she cares NOTHING about it, just like your Mother. If somehow the basic bond between you and alison as brother and sister is restored, it will be one of the key components that facilitates the end of this operation. I have gone to great lengths to ensure your family is NEVER whole again and with your death tonight I will have succeeded in nearly destroy the legacy of Ms Kelly King. Her oldest daughter blissfully unaware of her true family origin...up till the point of her own death.
Time grows short. Christopher Victory is making final preparations to greet his own daughters, and I will soon have to tend to Alexis Quatermaine for the last time.....Eva, while possessed of great potential...is no longer a viable option for MysTech...she too could leak vital information to the press and federal authorities that bring about an end to our global strong hold...and so, she will also be eliminated.
Black Widow, show me just how truly willing you are to embrace a second chance with MysTech....destroy Prophet.
::the bio systems lab sealed shut at all possible points of entry ...the lighting of the massive room began to fluxuate wildly...to add to the chaotic, tense situation now at hand....as Adam and Imgiomg faded into the "background" leaving Black Widow and Prophet seemingly alone...and facing each other...both still weakened and battered from the events of earlier...but now their minds had been painfully enlightened by Adam's revelations.::

:: Cameron listened as the cold and powerful magician spoke his words of challenge to Haleigh. If she wanted to survive she would have to kill Cameron himself and knowing Haleigh had the same mind set as he did, he knew that Haleigh would take the Demon up on his offer, if only to save herself. As he fell to the floor he found himself in a rather japanese like fighting Gi. His arms had bracers that were black with spikes on the edges and he was ready and poised for battle. He looked at Haleigh and laughed as how different their situation had turned out. He wasn't going to wait for her to make the first move. He immediately went after her as they both found themselves enveloped in a bright green energy. The time they had spent chained up had given Cameron time to rest and relax as Haleigh found herself mentally and physically stunned by Cameron's psionic energy as he took his hand, drew it back and yelled as he thrust it forward, mimicking a punch as Haleigh was flown into the back corner of the room, hitting the wall and falling on the ground. He looked at her with intensity in his eyes that none of the group had seen before. This was the Cameron King that won battles, who killed those who opposed him and the Cameron that got him to where he was today. By being cutthroat, cruel and almost demonic to get what he wanted. He extended his hand, gesturing in an upward motion as Haleigh found herself on her feet. Cameron winked at her and spoke softly. ::
"Well Hales, since you and I both know that we will kill anyone to save our own skins.. I guess it was inevitable that it came to this.. I will make this fair. Give you at least a chance to fight back. I might even make your death quick and painless..."
:: Cameron had to start thinking ahead. He knew her powers of Temperature Manipulation and he knew that she had seen less of his own power scope which was an advantage. He tapped into Haleigh's mind as he worked his power on her, creating the illusion that Cameron was still in front of her. The manipulation was so subtle that it could hardly be detected by anyone, save for Ima, who Prophet knew his powers far exceeded the Telepath's. He walked from his place, completely invisible to Haleigh and leaned on the wall behind her, waiting for the right moment to snatch up and go in for the kill. If he had to, Cameron would kill anyone that came into the room. Though he particularly liked Haleigh the most out of everyone in their group, he didn't know if he would be able to make it out and if her death became his welcome mat, it was a chance he would certainly have to take. He couldn't be distracted with thoughts of his sister now, though he desperately wanted to reconnect with her for whatever reason. Though he despised her, she was his sister and he was hoping that any hatred they had would dissolve upon their reunion, for now Cameron had more than just himself to fight for. He had family, a family of which he wanted desperately to reunite, if it meant killing every single member of the Six to do so. The feeling of finally having the void filled in his heart had charged him with energy. He was more than ready to do battle with Haleigh ::

Haleigh smirked as she hit the floor. Her head was pounding, her mouth was dry, her arms and shoulders ached from being in one position too long and her entire body was bruised and beaten and tired... but she was still smiling, as she slowly got to her knees, and then to her feet. She had a sly grin because she was rather proud of herself... and felt it neccessary to allow herself a moment of elation. She could snake her way out of hell, if she were so inclined. she stopped smiling when she realized it was Cameron they wanted her to kill. Why couldn't they have asked her to kill Guardian? Or Eva? she'd have been more than happy to do them in. But Cameron... Cameron had been her only ally all night... not to mention their 'pact'. Haleigh was a cutthroat, heartless bitch... but she usually kept what promises she made. Haleigh heard Cameron laugh, as she turned toward him as he lunged at her. Acting on pure instinct, she leaned to the side to avoid his punch, and as his fist passed her, she grabbed it and pulled it farther, pulling him towards her. she sidestepped his mass, but stuck a foot out to trip him up as she elbowed him in the back of the head.
She looked at him... she seemed neither surprised nor angry with him... and she pivoted on her heel and looked into a black monitor at her reflection. She leaned closer to take a look at some scrapes and punctures on the right side of her forehead, just above her eyebrow.... or at least... that's sure what it looked like she was doing. She touched the wounds lightly, as she searched the reflection of the screen for a way out of the room. she didn't doubt all the doors were sealed shut. maybe vents? wasn't this placed filled with secret passages? She kept an eye on Cameron's reflection.... he was still talking. now where had their buddy Adam gone? Haleigh puckered her lips and checked her teeth before finally turning back to cameron, nodding.
"Yes.... it's a shame its come to this." She said, walking over to the control desk for the bio labs machines. A pair of syringes lay on the desk... Haleigh wasnt qute sure what was in them... but she picked them up anyway, her back to cameron again to conceal her actions. "I hadn't planned on harming you... just so you know. I might've even told the good Doctor to shove it up his ass... what with our pact and all... but i can see it was an act of loyalty YOU wouldn't have been willing to reciprocate.... this disappoints me.... but at the same time... you're making it easy for me, Stud... I agreed to protect you to the best of my ability, as long as you had my back.... of course... that agreement is null and void the second you start STABBING me in the back... I can't exactly protect you while you're attacking me, you see... I'm forced to defend myself."
Haleigh turned around and hurled the needle at Cameron so quickly it looked like it never left her hand. "I would say I'm sorry that I have to do this.... but at this point... I'm really not." She said nonchalantly, looking around for Adam. she was saving her second syringe for the doctor. Work for Mystech? OH HELL NO. Haleigh worked for no one except herself. She wondered if Imagiomg would disappear once his boss Adam was killed... it tended to happen that way... with no one to direct them around... the minions either surrendered or were just gone.

Dear Ms Davidoff. You'll have to forgive Cameron. He over estimates his relevance in this equation, which is way I had Imagiomg K.O. him. NO! Imagiomg! leave him. I want him to suffer the daunting task of facing his sister, Alison Marble when she arrives. She still hasnt fully entertained the possibility that HE is her baby brother. But watching her strike down her own brother...and then watching her CRACK with grief when she realizes what she has done...will prime HER for the ultimate humiliation.

Haleigh turned to face Im as he appeared and cameron went flying. He was MUCH faster than Haleigh expected and as soon as he snatched her wrist, Haleigh knew her games (http://69.42.87.196/cgi-bin/v40/ezlclk.fcgi?id=8960) were coming to an end. No more manipulation... it was time to fight tooth and nail. And she'd give 'em hell until she had nothing left to give. She heard sickening pop as she was yankd into the air, and pain was injected into her shoulder joint an shooting up her neck and down her arm. Dislocated. she diagnosed... it wasnt the first time.... but it never got less painful either.
"Hi. Well... you never know.... some doctors really are idiots. I had one a few years ago. Everytime i went to see him i found i was asking myself 'how the FUCK (http://69.42.87.214/cgi-bin/ezlclk.fcgi?id=9512) did you get a doctorate? Are they just handing them out now??'"
She said, a homicidal smile on her face as she looked Im in the glowing eyes as Adam spoke, her own blue eyes blazing. Adam gave the command to put her in some machine... Haleigh's mind immediated flashed back to the CI surveillance photos (http://69.42.87.214/cgi-bin/ezlclk.fcgi?id=9529) of Foxfire in the genetic splicer.... she immediately rejected the idea.... she did NOT want to be in that thing... she hadn't signed up to get ANYTHING spliced.
"NO!!"
She screamed suddenly, her free (http://69.42.87.214/cgi-bin/ezlclk.fcgi?id=9186) hand flying towards Im. She was lightning quick, taking her second syringe and plunging it into Im's glowing right eye and pushing all the liquid in. She reached up to her trapped hand... it felt like alll the bones in her wrist were crushing.... in addition to her searing shoulder. She pulled herself up to his hand, trying to pry it free... it was frail looking for something so strong... and she took the opportunity (http://69.42.87.196/cgi-bin/v40/ezlclk.fcgi?id=9320) to bite as hard as she could.... clamping her jaw down on his 'thumb'... it tasted repulsive.... but she still bit down like there was no tomorrow.... for her... there just might not be. Her trapped hand was turning purple from lack of circulation... and she was trying to squeeze it through his grip, even if it crushed the bones in hand. she wasn't having much luck... and at this point the pain was THROBBING. She was still biting down on his hand like a rabid animal... and she'd begun kicking at him as hard as she could... she could only hope whatever what in the syringe would work fast.
It was an empty wish... and one that would go unfulfilled...as the mage violently shook her... and shook her... and shook her.... until she felt like a scrambled eggs and finally let go and flew through the air before crashing into something that came down upon her and immediately saw stars from the pain.... and bright flashes of light in her eyes.... she found she didn't have the strength to fight this machine.... and though she could hardly see what was happening through tears... she remembered the photos and already knew. She shut her eyes to the barrage of pain.... and faded back into the blackness of unconsciousness once more....
Haleigh opened her eyes.... and sat up. she was sitting in the chair aparatus of the gene splicer... but it was immobile... in fact... the entire room was. She didn't understand.... everyone was gone... the room was dark... and Haleigh saw everything in shades of blue... What the hell is this? she thought... Can't i at least be sent to hell properly? is that too much to ask?
She looked around... Cam was gone.... no one was here. everything was quiet. she seemed to be in the same location... was she dead? dying? was this hell? or heaven? she looked at her hands... her wrists were healed... she was wearing a black power suit with miniscule blue pinstripes. It was feminine, stylish. Something she'd wear. Haleigh sat back and stared at the ceiling. she was all out of ideas. maybe she was just supposed to wait.... maybe someone would come for her. and so she sat there... finally the chance to just rest. the first chance of the night where her 'life' wasnt in peril...what life she had any way. her body didnt feel tired anymore... she felt no pain... and this alarmed her... She lay back... closed her eyes... and just meditated... waiting for whatever afterlife she was going to face.

:: Cameron towered underneath the poweful Demon Mage as he heard the voice of Adam Chandler tell the skeleton hand entity to leave him be, and that was about the last thing that Prophet did hear, before he slipped out of consciousness. He had been knocked out by the impact that hit him when Imagiog threw the magickal web at him. He was now left to his own thoughts and his own recollection of what had happened that night. It was a night of surprises and secrets. He instinctively regretted fighting with Haleigh as she had been his one true ally the entire night, however, Cameron more than ever wanted to live to at least confront his estranged sister, if only to have her answer his many questions. If she was his older sister, she would have to remember something about him. Had she known all along and just not said anything. If she knew, how could she have left her own brother to die? He felt completely confused and embarassed as he slipped back into consciousness for a brief moment. He saw Haleigh on the Gene Splicer and tried to get up to help her but found it completely useless. He couldn't move at all. Prophet tried to muster some words, but they were a whisper at the most. ::
"Haleigh, hang on... you.. will...get out of here..."
:: Cameron wanted to help her more than ever. It figured. The only time he had ever grown a conscience in his life and he was almost paralyzed to do anything about it. His most basic of powers were the only thing that remained as he looked around the room, not being able to make out really anything. He wondered if he could at least make contact with Haleigh or scramble her mind to block out the pain. It was the least he could do as he felt somehow responsible for the turn of events. He locked on to her mind and as he pressed in, he was immediately blasted back out. He could feel the pain and torment of her mind. There was no going in there, and it almost seemed as if she was dead. It was like there wasn't much to tap into. Not much of a mind left. Was Haleigh dying? For the first time this night, he almost wished Spellbinder and the rest of the group would bust through the doors and save them, although he wasn't sure how happy they would be to see the two Underdogs alive. One thing was for sure. They had put up one hell of a fight. Surviving the Ant Lions, even a battle of wits with Adam Chandler. He knew Haleigh and himself were threats to Adam otherwise, he really wouldn't have sent such a powerful mage and agent of Mystech to exponge them. The Doctor must be really worried about them all reuniting. Becoming the Six. Once again, Cameron became unconscious as the quiet blackness became somewhat soothing, though deep down he was tormented by the thought that these might be his last moments on Earth. ::

** Facing her head up just enough to see the ultimate woman of power besides Spellbinder, Storm! A large comfort crawled into her soul, soothing the aching she suffered from the excruciating battle Blaze had fought in. The white haired beauty seemed to age more with elegance and grace, something Blaze hoped she'd be accustomed to. Her blood shot eyes scanned for Guardian and Shockwave, who both looked like hell. A small smile crept along Fox's lips seeing Guardian with her usual "sleek bun" now disheveled and messy. But it was to be expected, the woman fought bravely as did Alex. **
** What seemed like a moment in time, all of the women were taken to the Exam Room, where Blaze and Spellbinder previously had been. And she found herself laying on a large thick hospital bed. That tranquil feeling restoring her troubled soul, Black had been destroyed and Guardian and Shockwave were alive. Now, they needed to find the two remaining teammates of the Six, Prophet and Black Widow. Blaze was curious to meet these two wild cards. Closing her eyes blocking out the bright overhead light hanging above on the ceiling. Recuperating for a few minutes, Blaze sat up to find Morgan next to her on a hospital bed too. **
** Pushing her slender body off the bed, Blaze walked over to Morgan, "will she live Guardian or Storm?" Her eyes focused on the two bewitching beauties in front of her. "I cannot rest until I know she's going to be all right. I know Morgan wouldn't rest until I was safe and healthy." Brushing a few golden strands from Morgan's beautiful face, Blaze's heart tugged at her. Deep down she knew Spellbinder was far too stubborn to be slain by Black, leaving Blaze behind. She turned towards Guardian and Shockwave, bowing her head respectfully. **
"Thank you both for you're courage, saving both Morgan and I from that hideous creature. I just wish...I could have gotten to her before he attacked her."
** Avoiding eye contact, Blaze felt a pinch of guilt strike into her. If only she moved faster maybe Spellbinder wouldn't have been struck by Black. Sliding her small hands into Morgan's, she refused to leave her sister's side. Foxfire was stubborn but she was more pig headed when it involved her sister. She yearned to see the violet irises her sister wore or even hear a catty comment involving Shockwave, something or anything would suffice. **
** Leaning down to Spellbinder's ear, Blaze whispered something only Morgan would hear. Her words soft and clear for Morgan to hear even in her unconscious state. It was said those could always hear you. **
"I still think Gucci is better than Prada."
** Pulling away, Blaze smiled more brightly. Back in Valiant, Blaze and Morgan argued which designer was better, Gucci or Prada. And for Morgan it was always Prada. Blaze wondered if her sister awoke she'd have her final say in who was better. **

:: Shockwave was now unconscious from lack of energy in her body. Laying on the debris covered ground, she allowed her body to just shut down once she knew that Black was no longer a threat. Soon, Ororo moved everyone down to the exam room in which Shockwave sent Spellbinder and Foxfire. Now laying in a hospital bed, if Alexis was conscious, she would be off the bed in a nano second...she hated hospital...it must of been because of her father, because ever since that night where she thought she killed him, she couldn't bare to step foot in another hospital again. But for right now, Alexis laid motionless on the bed. Slashes covered her face and what visible skin her suite didn't cover. Dried blood stained her almost white hair. She was pretty battered, but not dead. ::
:: The energy within her body was continuing to multiply...it had been ever since she released her grip from Guardian upstairs. But because of the lack of energy in her body, it took longer than expected to recover. Soon, Alexis' head moved as her eyes began to flutter open. All Alexis could see was a bright light above....everything else around her was blurred. Blinking her eyes slowly a few times, she finally managed to gain her sight back, seeing the medical spotlight above. Squinting, Alexis closed her eyes to avoid the bright light as she slowly tried to maneuvered up. Placing her elbows on the bed, she weakly pushed herself up into a sitting position, before placing one palm of her hand on the bed for support. Moving her other hand up to her forehead, she winced in pain. Alexis' head was pounding beyond belief. Worse than a hangover...and even more painful than a migraine. This was why Alexis never transferred energy to others...the aftermath sucked. ::
"....uuggh.."
:: Moaning, she allowed her head to hang with her hand still placed on her forehead. Her blonde locks fell forward, shading her pain stricken face from the others. She knew Spellbinder, Foxfire, Guardian, and Ororo were there...and the fact that she fell unconscious was unacceptable--or at least in Alexis' opinion. Finally removing her hand from her head, she lifted her head up once again, not looking at the other woman. Turning her body so it faced the side of the bed, her legs soon hung off the edge showing that she was in the process of getting up. Pushing herself forward, she soon felt the ground with her feet and stood. But Alexis was still weak...stumbling, she dropped to one knee while holding onto the bed. Allowing her head to hang again, her hair again shaded her face. Tears began to well up in her eyes...the only time Alexis ever felt this vulnerable was when she was drunk. The feeling was horrible and she hated it....but she couldn't help but feel as if she was failing. Her emotions were so erratic at this point, that she just didn't know exactly how she really felt. Tears fell from her eyes, but she would not dare to lift her head to look at the other woman in the room. Alexis had more pride than that. Letting go of the bed, she completely dropped to the floor of the exam room and hunched over cupping her hands over her badly cut face. Alexis just kneeled there...she just needed a few moments to compose herself. ::

** But it was Foxfire who in the end would comfort Alexis. Releasing Morgan's hand, she walked towards Shockwave. Her own healing factor was restoring itself, healing parts of Blaze more, rejuvenating her energy field. Silent and quick, Blaze bounded to the floor wrapping her arms around Shockwave's suit. A strong pair of arms wrapped around Alexis, tenderly pulling her up to stand. Blaze's sage eyes searched through Alexis, finding answers to this battered woman. **
"Easy Alex."
** She said gently, careful not to provoke the young girl. Easing Shockwave back onto the bed to sit, Blaze stood in front of her, "you took a beating, rest for a bit. Let your energy return." Brushing more of the blonde's locks from her piercing blue eyes, Blaze crouched down to her with a small smile, "another fan of Prada I see." Moving her palm up to catch a few hot tears Shockwave leaked. Blaze was probably the only member of the Six who called Alexis, "Alex" instead. **
"Now stay, I don't wanna kick your ass if you move again." She teased slowly. Pulling herself up to stand, Blaze sensed how stressed and erratic her teammate felt. That warm fire within Blaze rose, indicating her motherly nature. Gently wrapping her arms around Alexis to soothe and calm her, "your safe Shock." A deep frown washed over Foxfire, what had come over her? She was starting to think of Alexis as another sister to her. Noticing the painful scars on Alexis' gorgeous face, she took the girl's hand placing it on Blaze's once more, allowing her to assist in the healing factor. That familiar nauseous feeling drawing near but Blaze welcomed it, getting used to it. **
** After what seemed like a few minutes, Blaze pulled away to sit down on Alexis's bed beside her, gathering her own energy together with a breath. This healing factor came in handy but she wondered if Alexis was any better. She knew the woman was used to being alone but with Blaze near, the tables turned. **

:: Feeling Blaze's arms wrap around Alexis, the meta human became startled as she was soon lifted to her feet and placed back on the medical bed. ::
"I'm fine.."
:: Alexis said very not very convincingly, but the strong willed woman never wanted anyone to think of her as weak or vulnerable. Especially after a battle like this. Hearing Blaze's words, it was strange to have a woman that ALexis just met be this kind and motherly to her....normally woman run in the other direction of Alexis. Looking to Blaze's eyes, she could tell the mutant wanted to comfort Alexis, and she didn't exactly know how to react to it. Never growing up with a mother...she wasn't used to any of this....As foxfire embraced her in a hug, her muscles tensed up as a look of "whoa..what's going on" was present in her eyes. As Blaze released Alexis from the warm embrace, Alexis looked down shifting her eyes from side to side. ::
"...Thank you, but I'm fine. Really...I just..."
:: Before she could say anything more, Blaze took it upon herself to send more of her healing powers into Alexis. Closing her blue eyes, her cuts soon began to close and again, the beautiful blonde was as striking as ever. Fluttering her eyes open once again, her blue eyes were still very pale from lack of energy...looking at Blaze, a small smile appeared on her lips and then suddenly a chuckle could be heard. "Alex"? No one has ever called her anything but Alexis. Shaking her head a bit, she looked back into Blaze's eyes again. ::
"Go take care of Morgan. I promise I'm fine."
:: Moving her feet back onto the bed she allowed herself to lay down once again to rest. Blaze was right...she had to rest if she was going to be strong enough to kill Adam...::

** Quietly, Blaze returned to her own bed to rest. She knew Guardian and Storm would look after her sister. Laying down onto it, she shut her eyes to rest. Once she did Blaze fell into a realm of sleep, not aware she was that exhausted from her travels. Sleeping for a few minutes, Blaze turned onto her right side with her back turned to the others. As she slept for those vital minutes her healing factor sped up, allowing her wounds to heal and her energy to return. **
** Awakening a little later with a yawn, she sat up brushing her hair behind her ears. Moving her legs under her to sit Indian Style, she checked on Morgan. Folding her arms into her lap, she waited patiently for her sister to wake up. And any form of instructions about rescuing the other members of the Six. Noticing a bathroom off the side, Blaze headed for this. **
** Once inside she washed the dirt and dried blood from her face. Revealing a shinny and rested face, Blaze felt more refreshed, well as much as she could. Returning to the main level of the Exam Room, Blaze stretched with a loud popping sound, her muscles. A blush filled her cheeks, her bones always made the sickening sound although she never knew why. Moving beside Morgan once more, her eyes moved onto Guardian. Blaze was indeed curious of her, she seemed from another planet in a way with her strong morals and beliefs but that Wonder Woman build made her resemble an Amazon. Peering into Alison's eyes, she frowned at how similar they were to the man she saw earlier on the monitor, Prophet. Not the coloring but the size of them. Looking away from Guardian Blaze watched her sister carefully, expecting her to awake. **

:: After about five minutes of actual rest, Alexis let out an aggravated sigh and sat up once again on the hospital bed. It was quite obvious that the meta human had regain some of her energy back, but it wasn't enough. Glancing around the room, she noticed a sparking monitor on the other side of the room with scorch marks on it---undoubtedly from Foxfire. Moving her legs once again off the side of the bed, she pushed herself once more into a standing position. Now able to stand with support, Alexis began to make her way slowly towards the monitor. Pushing herself off the hospital bed, she staggered over towards the wall and quickly began to lean on it for support. Finally, Alexis found herself in front of the exposed wires that were once apart of the monitor. Sparks flew from the wires, hitting her skin and absorbing into it instantaneously. Easing herself down to the ground, she sat on her knees in front of the wires. Finally, Alexis grabbed the exposed wires and instantly began to absorb the energy. The lights in the exam room began to flicker on and off...and to the others in the room it looked as if Alexis was being severely electrocuted. Finally, the exam room went black as the hissing sound from the electricity came to a stop. Only seconds after the blackout, the lights slowly faded back on and a blue ora could be seen around Alexis' body. The ora soon faded after a few moments, and Alexis stood up as if nothing had ever happened to her. Turning around, electricity could be seen sparking from the tips of her fingers as she walked back towards the others....cocking her neck from side to side, a soft cracking sound could be heard. Alexis was completely back to her normal self. Bending down, Alexis lifted up a swivel chair that was laying on the ground, and placed it in it's upright position. Taking a seat, she instantaneously crossed her legs, and looked back at the woman in the room...then her eyes fell upon Spellbinder. She looked like she was on the verge of dying. ::

Haleigh had been pacing steadily, her hands clasped behind her back. She was thinking about her life... what she'd done right... and what she'd give anything to do over. This place seemed to force her into doing so.... no more compartmentalizing, no more dodging her emotions and no more denying herself. She kept bringing her hands up in front of her face... something was happening.... her hands were becoming more and more transparent... her corporeal body was slipping closer and closer to death.
The idea that she could do nothing to stop it made her furious... the whole hellacious day made her furious. she felt a swell of anger inside her... a river of passion running very deep through her soul... and her hands got a little less transparent. She held onto that anger... stubbornly wanting to hold out as long as she possibly could... optimistically thinking if her will was strong enough.... she could force herself back into consciousness and begin to recuperate.... and then begin to fight her way out of this hellhole.
she wasn't sure if any of the others had made it... at this point.... she wasn't sure if it mattered.... she was almost positive none of them even gave a damn that she was in the bind she was in... not even Cameron... who'd been there nearly to what appeared to be her end.... only to turn on her. there was no camraderie among the six... whatever Powers That Be that thought those people would EVER join forces to save the world were clearly out of their minds. These six people couldn't even unite to save their own skins.... her and cameron almost looked as though they'd take it to the end... but they couldn't... both were far too concerned about self preservation.
Haleigh saw for the first time the foolishness behind her fueding with Alison... even though Gaurdian was an egomaniacal bitch.... Haleigh should have sucked it up... the battlefield is no place for descension among the 'ranks'. Haleigh used to know that.... she used to be a team player... and it seemed like so long ago that she'd died for her country, so to speak... Now she was just angry she hadnt been so wise tonight.... for her patriotism and team spirit had given her POWER before.... and now she had nothing.... nothing but this blanket of silence and this realm of blues.... and this horrible room which appeared to be the last place on Earth Haleigh would be.

**Ororo's white magick touched the bodies and souls of all four women...and slowly, steadily they found themselves calming in their minds, feeling whole and in control of themselves...their bodies renewed and healed. all internal injuries repaired..and all energy levels restored.**
**She smiled faintly as she watched Foxfire and Shockwave interact with each other. Both of them were so young compared to her...and even though she was now beyond the reach of mortality since her time in Limbo, she remembered the exuberance and resilience of youth.**
** She was now by Spellbinder's bedside, gently stroking her blonde, double highlighted hair as she enveloped the young sorceress in a field of soft glowing green energy...sparkling shards swirled around it..as Spellbinder's body began to return to its normal state...the poison was being neutralized and extracted from her body.**
Spellbinder will be fine. Leave her be as my magick runs its course. Black's touch was a true anethma to both Spellbinder and Guardian for he was a nemesis to witches all across this reality and beyond. He represented, in part, the physical embodiment of man's hatred towards witches and their craft from throughout the centuries....he was a a manifestation of man's most base instincts....and therefore he was the ultimate enemy of Spellbinder. She had brought him down once, but through MysTech's far reaching arrogance and brazen misuse/ disregard for the laws of magick and nature, He was yanked from Oblivion to wreck havoc once more. The power of the Siege Perilous has ensured he will NEVER get that chance again.
**Looking at Guardian**
It was your vast knowledge of The Darkhold...the book of shadows that has existed in the bloodlines of ALL the Dark Trinity (Spellbinder/Magik/Darkchilde) that catalyzed Black's final fate into being....i merely provided the "push" to send him on his way. Only a witch who is extremely fluent in the arts arcane could even begin to tap into this kind of power. Your tenacity tonight made all the difference in the world. When Cat..... Shadowcat and I were all that stood between Belasco and Magik[our realty's Spellbinder] in Limbo years ago, We took two different paths...Cat was always the more fiece and extreme...no matter what the cost. That is your method...but in the end...her way cost her her life...and mine as well as we perished in a last ditch effort to liberate our version of Spellbinder from Belasco. Do not let your willingness to destroy those you feel are beneath you become your ultimate undoing, Alison.
**Ororo's words were all too telling...Alison's bloodthirsty mentality was matched only by Spellbinder. But this evening, Guardian had deliberately seperated the team and left Black Widow and Prophet to die....**
Black may gone, Foxfire may be alive and in safe hands...but the nightmare is far from over. Imagiomg has all but destroyed Black Widow and Prophet....and Adam Chandler, Christopher Victory remain unchecked. I cannot aid you any further...for if you are to be who you are meant to be to each other...and those around you on the surface...you must lay aside your petty differences and learn to work as a team. I lost my X-men in Limbo.....you have the chance to help each other get out of this ...alive and in tact....do not misuse it.
** Looking down at Spellbinder.**
Spellbinder ...is like my daughter. I will be there for her when her own mother cannot...just as i was for her in Limbo. Her power and her will are incredible...but the down fall of that is that she has come to have little regard others. Foxfire...you managed to break through her icy exterior when you were miraculously united with her. She counts FEW among her as friends...but those that HAVE earned a place in her heart have her loyalty and protection....which can proove deadly to foes...and also proove to be as beautiful as a freshly bloomed rose touched by morning dew.
**Looking at Shockwave.**
You have a long path ahead of you on the road to recovery, but consider this....you and Spellbinder have more in common than you may realize. You both will learn from each other....if you open your eyes long enough. Your actions tonight will determine if that time comes.
** gliding to the center of the room and spreading her arms...the winds begin to flow as her robes billow and flow along with her hair**
Time grows short...rest yourselves as my magick runs its course. look beyond yourselves..and think of each other. it is the only way you can prevail tonight...and hope to restore the damage done to the city above
**the winds billow and gust...sparkling around Ororo as thunder BLASTS....and with that, she is gone.**

:: Listening to Ororo's words, the woman spoke with such grace and wisdom....Studying the woman carefully, she dare not interrupt, she just sat and listened. It was true, their journey was far from being over...Alexis was out for blood--her father's blood. And she would not rest one more moment until he was dead. Standing from the swivel chair, Alexis slowly made her way to Spellbinder's side. Standing over the woman, her blue eyes scanned over her lifeless looking body, until they reached her face. Gently, Shockwave took Spellbinder's hand within her own. This was very very very very VERY uncharacteristic of Alexis...especially towards Morgan of all people. But Ororo was right--the two had a bond, whether they liked it or not. They both had father's that hurt them. Hurt them beyond anyone else's comprehension....beyond even their own comprehension. Gently squeezing Spellbinder's cold, limp hand, Shockwave spoke softly. ::
"You're the only one that understands.....what growing up with father like Adam is like. And that...like Ororo said....connects us."
:: Stopping, Alexis just stood there for a few moments before continuing. ::
"I may dislike you, Morgan. But I respect you."
:: Lowering Morgan's hand onto the bed, Alexis loosened her grip and pulled her hand away. Lifting her chin up, Alexis turned away from Morgan's bed and began to proceed towards the Exam Room doors. ::
"I need to go find my father. I need to kill him and make him suffer like he has made me suffer. I can't wait any longer... :: whispering :: I can't.."
:: Looking to Blaze, her eyes seemed to tell a story. If Blaze was as in tuned with her emotions as Alexis believed her to be, she would immediately pick up Alexis' gratitude to the woman....Alexis' reasoning to go on...and goodbye. Turning her head away, she paused for a second before pushing the Exam Room doors open, and proceeding out to find her father. ::

"NO!!"
** In a brilliant flash of flames, Foxfire appeared right in front of Shockwave, flames arouse all around her body. Such extreme heat frequency Alexis could feel directly on her body, even though her deadly flames hadn't touched her. A look of determination in her eyes as she stretched her limbs out, blocking Shockwave from progressing. **
"Don't you get it Alex? The reason this team has fallen is because we SPLIT up! Do you remember the Roman's strategical form of attack, divide and conquer? That's exactly what will happen if you do not stay!"
** Blaze's glowing eyes softened to their mysterious jade green. Although her eyes softened her muscles still remained. Glancing over to her sister and then back onto Shockwave. **
"There is more to this night than just revenge. You're blinded by your deep hatred for your father. This hatred is going to cost ALL of us including my sister and Guardian. I saw the other two members of this team and judging by what Storm has spoken off, they too left the group. Morgan and I want our father but we WORK together just as you must do with us. Learn to trust us, if not Morgan then at least me. For God's sake don't risk another member of this team for your selfish vengeance. Stay and we will find them TOGETHER and then the final moments you will seek your revenge just like Morgan. But until then I will not allow you to leave this room!"
** With her own stubborn will, Blaze encompassed a high powered firewall behind her, blocking the exit of the room. Its torrent wild fires wrapped and swirled around the doors like vines. Shaking her head, Blaze locked eyes once more. **
"You're staying and that's final!"

:: Annoyed, Alexis stood as Blaze spoke to her about team work and waiting for the others. Rolling her eyes, she let a small sigh escape her lips as she crossed her arms across her chest. She had a point, but as far as Alexis was concered, she would much rather leave than wait. Shifting her eyes towards the exit, flames soon engulfed it preventing Alexis from leaving. Shifting her eyes back to Blaze, she reluctantly agreed. ::
"Fine..."
:: Before turning around to head back to the others, Alexis squinted her eyes making all the energy from the flames dissapear---thus the wall of fire dissapearing as well. Looking to Blaze, she smiled playfully. ::
"All you had to do was ask."
:: As much as she hated to admit it, she liked Blaze. A lot. She was a woman who held her own and wasn't afraid to speak up to Alexis when she was being bullheaded and headstrong. As far as Alexis' was concerned, Blaze was a friend in her eyes....whether they would stay friends after this ordeal, was unknown...but as for tonight, Alexis would look out for Blaze as she would a friend. ::

** It seemed Blaze was just as stubborn as Alexis, the two were similar in a variety of ways, even their abilities over elements. Raising a curious brow at the blonde haired beauty, she casually awaited for a comment. Her friend's tone was less than pleasant, but Fox knew it was to be expected. Nodding her head slowly to acknowledge Alexis' comment when her flames vanished. Lightly chuckling under her breath, Blaze was impressed by the electrical manipulator. **
"Forgive me."
** She spoke with a bit of an accent but the destination was unknown, almost Greek. Leaning against the wall on an angle, Blaze watched Shockwave carefully, making sure the woman didn't abandon her quest in search of vengeance. Placing her hands into the pockets at her sides. Alex was intriguing to Blaze, she in a way reminded her of Morgan. That bitchery craft each possessed, yet underneath it lay a delicate flower. Opening the palm of her hand, a shape began to form. Within the form was a flaming raven, Blaze stared at her own creation until she closed her palm. Her eyes dashed onto Alexis once more, this time remaining on her. **
"We need each other Alexis and I think deep down you understand this. I'm known for making rash decisions, Morgan will tell you. But I've come to notice my mistakes. Which is why I understand your stubbornness. You're eyes uncover who you are, no matter how icy or moody you may be."
** Blaze stopped to think more on the topic, her mind working as fast as her own elemental power. She decided to change the object, at least for now. **
"So to pass the time, tell me about yourself. What is your occupation? Hobbies? Anything you want. But don't give me a one word sentence, I hate those. Underneath this fire exterior lies a being who does listen, one of my more better qualities I would say. But maybe you're not up for discussing your life, I sense you're passion for privacy. A bit of an enigma I see, afraid your enemies will find your weaknesses and use them against you."
** Breaking eye contact, Blaze turned her attention to Guardian. She was truly an enigma of anyone on the team. Blaze sensed great power within her soul but also a blazing inferno as well. **
"You see, I was blessed with a gift. And I'm not speaking about my control over fire. A human gift...I'm able to sense emotions within people. Their eyes are the key to the soul. I can uncover everyone I meet, yet those around me cannot figure myself out."

:: Turning back around to Blaze, she was very persistent wasn't she? But Alexis liked that...normally Alexis' reputation would of presided her, and Blaze would know every second of her life...but seeing as how she was deprived of living outside of MysTech lab, she honestly had no idea who Alexis Quartermaine truly was. A small smile appeared on Alexis' lips---it was actually nice to meet someone and start a fresh friendship with them without the person being afraid or nervous around her. Crossing her arms along her chest, she watched as Blaze made a little raven of fire in her hand...Her blue eyes illuminated as the fire blazed within her palm until the elemental put it out. ::
"You really want to know about me?"
:: A small chuckle escaped her lips as Alexis shook her head a bit out of disbelief. Looking back up at Blaze, she couldn't help but smile at her comment about one word sentences. ::
"Oh my life is far beyond one word sentences, Blaze...."
:: Stopping, Alexis put up a tough vasade. She was very much like a snake trapped in a corner, always on guard and ready to strike....she never liked feeling vulnerable around others, therefore she would throw in a witty comment here, or a insult there. Mainly to keep her true colors from showing. Feeling a bit vulnerable at the moment, Alexis looked back up at Blaze and cocked her head to the side and began to speak in a very cocky manor...although some of what she was going to say was nothing to be proud of. ::
"Well..let's see. You know the part about me being kidnapped by Adam and him raising me. Well...I killed him--or so I thought--and went to find my real family, the Quartermaine's. Well, they shunned me, except my brother AJ...never wanting to be apart of my life because Adam raised me and I wasn't a "true" Quartermaine."
:: Thinking of AJ, Alexis stopped and took a breath in. The one person she truly allowed in her heart...that she loved. Looking back up at Blaze, she again put on a fake cocky smile and continued on. ::
"Well...Alan, my father, ran Tempo magazine and when he died, Helena, my aunt took over. I took the company from her and now own and run it. I was married five times, divorced...obviously five times, I've been an alcoholic for the past 10 years, and sober...up until tonight, for a year."
:: Uncrossing her arms, Alexis took a breath in and continued on. ::
"As for hobbies...usually make people's lives miserable, have sex with as many men as possible, shopping, and oh, yeah...traveling."
:: Again, Alexis was somewhat lashing out in a condescending manor...but it was the only thing she knew how to do. Usually when people found out about her life that did not know her previously, would leave and never want to speak to her again. Therefore, she would always make a joke out of it to spare her own feelings. Looking down at her hands, she casually picked away from dry blood. Her blonde locks shaded her face, but as she lifted her head a bit, she shifted her eyes towards Blaze. ::
"So...now that you know who the TRUE Alexis Quartermaine is...do you really still want to be my friend."
:: More of a closing statement than a question, Alexis automatically assumed Blaze would do as others in the past have, and stop this "friendship" before it even started. Not really caring, it's happened so many times before, it just stopped effect Alexis period---she just continued to pick the dry blood of her hands, hoping Morgan would awake soon. ::

Lady Ororo.........she saved us. We are here thanks to her......and I am once again at full strength!
:: she shifted, swinging her legs around so that she was now sitting on the edge of the bed...she continued to stretch, as she stood up and loosened up her body...she felt wonderfull...calm...and in control. ** Blaze listened intensely as Alexis spoke of her troubled life and all the chaos she had been through. But despite it all, Blaze's facial expression remained stoic, which was unreadable to anyone in the room including Shockwave herself. Once Alexis finished her summary and then asked Fox if she still wanted to be friends, Blaze's lips moved upwards into a grin. A few seconds passed for Blaze to gather her thoughts while she folded her arms across her chest. **
"In case I hadn't made it clear already, I'm not going anywhere. I'm far too cocky and stubborn to go places. And just because all these events scare others away, doesn't mean they affect me the same. I've had my own personal demons that haunt me....even still today. I don't care who you were in the past Alex or what you prove to others as a facade. And I definitely don't need anyone telling me about you other than yourself. Why? Because I can read right through that icy exterior of yours. I'm more than just a teammate here, I'm a friend. As many of them I have, I don't turn my back on them because the way they are or who they've become. So to answer your question, yes I'm still your friend."
** At that second, Morgan began to stir asking various questions that Blaze knew the answers to. Rushing to her sister's side, Blaze took a hold of Morgan's palm, gently smiling down to her. **
"Good Morning sleeping beauty. You were attacked by Black but Shockwave, Guardian, and Storm defeated and even destroyed him into oblivion. You're safe now and we're all restored thanks to Storm. How do you feel?"
** That sisterly tone washing over Blaze's voice whenever she spoke with Spellbinder. Her eyes glanced to Guardian as well, nodding to her. **
"I'm glad your both all right. Alexis and I are ready whenever you two are. We've both been awake longer than you two. But just rest a little longer."

<<her voice was strong again..icy and full of contempt. finally she removed all of the suit, revealing a tall, well toned, slender body. it was obvious that Spellbinder took good care of herself. I just needed to get out of that suit.....it no longer suits my mood or serves my purpose.
<< a crack of thunder sounds off as Spellbinder now wears a black chocker around her neck w/small silver pentagram, black leather corsett w/ silver accents, along with matching black leather hot pants and fishnet stockings and knee high, high heeled boots also with silver accents. her wrists are adorned with leather cuffs. She looked more like a dominatrix as her hair was now bone straight, parted down the middle and her eyes were accented by smokey eye liner. standing slight posed...she looked down at her sister, clearly she was her true self once more...and her look reflected her dark, hostile mood.>>

:: Watching Spellbinder and listening to the two sisters speak, Alexis' eyebrow rose at the site of Morgan's new outfit. A small smile appeared on her lips. ::
"Where's your whip and chains, Morgan?"
:: Allowing a small laugh to escape her lips, Alexis was getting back to her old catty self...but of course, she was only playing around with the witch. The outfit was cute, but not really her taste. Allowing her eyes to drift down to her own "outfit", it looked as if a lion had mauled the living hell out of it. Shaking her head, the once sleek crimson suite was now tattered and bloody, revealing more of Alexis' body and under garments than the suite itself. The energy molecules from what was left of the crimson mess began to break down and swirl around Alexis' body, until finally, the once torn crimson cat suite was restored. Pulling the rubber band that was holding her hair up in a ponytail off, she shook her head allowing her blood stained blonde hair to fall to her shoulders. Brushing her fingers through her tangled hair, she sighed as she pulled the knots out. Soon, pulling her relatively tangle free hair back into a sleeker looking pony tail, she tied the rubber band back in place. Awaiting the other woman to get ready, Alexis leaned back against the wall and re crossed her arms. ::

"Well...if you can whip up something more my style, be my guest....I was just tired of standing around half naked. You know how it is."
:: Winking, Alexis was less bitchy towards Morgan because of the ordeal they went through. There was no reason to really lash out at her anymore...other than of course for fun--and perhaps shits and giggles. Nevertheless, Alexis was indeed nicer to Morgan. And the fact that Morgan offered to help her with her outfit, showed that she felt the same way. Holding out her hands to the side, she looked up at the witch. ::
"Just don't make me look like a street walker version of Jessica Rabbit."

Haleigh'd stop pacing... she seemed to just retire herself once more to the chair.... she was now perched on the edge, her knees drawn up to her chest, hugging her legs, her face cradled in her hands. She didnt quite know what to make of this place. It must be some kind of in-between place... but it felt like she'd been here for days... She felt antsy... after all she'd been through... the lack of action was such a change. She couldn't stop thinking about the things she might have done differently...
Dancing lights across the room caught her attention... Finally... she thought. She inhaled sharply.... the man that appeared was one from her past. He wore a white "crackerjack" navy uniform... and his facial expresssion was one of compassion. Haleigh could hardly believe it.... she just stared as the man came forward.
"Jimmy?"
She said unsteadily, and he nodded. He seemed to read her mind, and as she stood he pulled her into a long hug.
James-"Now is no time for how, love. Ive been sent to give you a choice. But first.... I must tell you something--"
"You dont have to say anything... I choose to go with you."
James-"That's not an option.... not yet."
"Havent I been through ENOUGH?!" Haleigh asked angrily. She pulled away from him, and seemed to glow with fury, frustration. James let her go softly... He looked concerned. He was running out of time.
"Haleigh.... Darling.... you've lost your path. Where is the woman I fought beside? I've been watching over you... you're not happy.... you've lost your heart along the way. They say you're not supposed to die tonight. You're a part of something huge... something good. Wont it be nice to be a part of something good again?"
"Oh yeah.... nice." She said sarcastically. She turned her back, walking over to blank monitors, bathed in blue light. She folded her arms across her chest, instinctively protecting her heart. It felt like it was breaking again. "Because the last genuinely good thing i was a part of worked out so well. Who the hell are THEY?"
"Stop being so damn stubborn. They... the powers that be... Your destiny doesnt END here H.D. What that bastard Chandler was going on about.... its true. You're supposed to be something great.... but your body is dying. And while your soul is trapped here.... its fading into complete nonexistence. They can forse you back to consciousness... merge your soul and your body back into one... but you must accept your destiny... and help to save the city from the Citadle. Or you can reject it... and they will leave you here... to this bleak fate."
Haleigh leaned against a desk, pursing her lips, her arms still crossed. "Why cant I just come with you?"
"I dont have that kind of power... they just sent me to give you the message. Go back... do this. save the day again.... and find your way back home, to who you were before. We will be together again.... someday... when it is your time.... you can be happy... and free of regret. you CAN do this.... they wouldn't give you the choice to watch you fail. I'll be with you... every step of the way...."
Haleigh nodded.... she didnt guess she had much of a choice... and this... realm... was getting to her. She'd have the chance to right some wrongs.... and in the back of her mind... she desperately wanted to rub Alison's nose in it all. She ran her hands through her hair, as she hugged him once more, and watched him disappear. She sat back... the room seemed to dim.
Oh... Here we go again. She thought sarcastically.
In the gene splicer, Haleigh lay limply. She did APPEAR to be dead... and the only movement in the room was the machine.... The lights above flickered... the machine had already injected her with the TO virus... Her body was pale and mostly covered in blood, her lips blue. The splicer was powering up, its final cycle very taxing to the back up generator... The machine hummed loudly and seemed to shake with force... and the lights flickered violently before finally, with a small explosion, the generator went offline and the lights in the entire Citadle went out. The machine stopped suddenly.... and the room was silent. A single desk lamp ran on battery and was still on.
Haleigh emerged from a haze... opening her eyes... waking up to incredible pain. She looked at her hands, clamped down by the machine... as were her feet. The insides of her forearms were bruised and dotted with pinpricks of blood... places where the machine had inserted needles roughlys Strangely enough.... she'd stopped bleeding, even at her deeper cuts. She tried to move her arm, and was answered with pain, blooming into her shoulder. A kind reminder that it was dislocated. She pulled with her other hand, trying to pulled out of her restraints. She didn't think shed be capable of much... thick steel held her down tightly... But she still pulled... and suddenly... the restraint snapped, and clattered to the floor. Haleigh was astounded...How could she have done that? She had hardly tried with ALL her strength... and she could see where she had clearly broken the steel away from its base. She used her now free hand to pull on the other steel clamp. To her shock... It broke just as easily.
"What the hell?"
She winced as she sat up, clutching her shoulder. In one quick movement, she yanked it back into place, stifling a scream. She flexed her arm gently... and then bent forward to pull her ankle restraints off. Again... she broke 3 inch thick steel with little effort. she stood up... stumbling forward. She caught sight of herself in a wall of blank monitors and almost laughed. Her black suit was tattered and the sleeves were in shreds... Haleigh ran her hands through her red hair.. and walked over to a body in the corner... IM must have disposed of this zombie when they'd inhabited the room... This woman was young and wore a labcoat over plain clothes... she must have been in her early twenties... Haleigh peeled off her suit and traded for the girls clothes... a pair of black slacks and a red shirt that read "The BITCH is Back" on the front.... Haleigh pulled it on... it seemed suitable.
Haleigh pocketed the girl's access badge... and moved on. She nearly fell over the next body, which was partly hidden in the shadows. It was Cameron. Haleigh stood over him.... trying to make a decision. Could she really blame Cameron for doing the same thing she would have? Of course she could.... but she was feeling gratious... she knelt down beside him. he still had a pulse. He didn't seem to be conscious... should she leave him there? He deserved it.... but She'd never been one to leave anyone behind... she remebered what James had said. they were supposed to be a team... He didn't seem to be bleeding badly. She sighed... and picked him up by the collar of his suit. She dragged him behind her... he seemed to weigh nothing. She still wondered where this newfound strength came from... a gift? She didnt know... but she was more than happy to kick the door down. It clattered out into the hallway, and Haleigh drug Cam behind her and walked out into the dark hallway. There was still no light... but she didnt seem to have a problem seeing.... it was almost as if she had night vision... she saw everything in shades of blue according to heat... the floors were a dark navy... the lights overhead still hot, a very light blue...
"Interesting."
She said aloud, wandering down the hallway... looking for signs of her 'team'. could they be this far down yet? Where was Imagiomg and Adam? Were could she find some weapons? Her feet fell silent as she walked, just the sound of Cameron's legs and lower body dragging down the corridor. She was supposed to be a part of something great. Yeah.... save the day again... wonderful, just terrific. Nothing was ever easy for Haleigh. She couldn't even die easily. She turned the corner.

:: Cameron was still in a blaze. Though he was unconscious, his mind was racing at about a million times a minute as he subconsciously astral projected to the Astral Plane. He found himself in a cool and quiet jungle setting next to a watery cove of some kind, the water seeming to soothe his entire body. As he flickered his eyes, he looked up and saw a sight he had been missing ever since this adventure started. Vivica Lennox. His Friend. His Confidant and most importantly, the only person who truly understood him. The only question was why was she here with him? Did she know what was going on? Obviously it wasn't safe. He had told her that at the beginning of this whole thing that she needed to know and yet here she was standing before him. He blinked his eyes as he tried to stand up or at least sit up, but nothing seemed to be working. Even in the Astral Plane he was weaked. He saw Recall smile at him as she knelt over him and brushed his hair out of his face as she spoke with a cool, calm and even tone. There was something definitely different about her at this moment and Cameron wasn't about to try and form words when she seemed this concerned. A side to her of which he had never really seen before. Her words were extremely soothing. ::
Vivica: "Cameron, I know it seems a little hopeless right now with everything you've been through but you have to get up now. I have some things I need to tell you. It should boost your spirits"
:: Prophet wondered what his assistant could possibly be talking about right now at a time like this. Whatever it was he knew it was important as he coughed for a moment and looked back into her eyes and motioned for her to continue. ::
Vivica: "Everything Adam Chandler has told you tonight has been true. You know it in your bones, Cameron. Before you left me in the elevator shaft, I locked our senses. I have been able to track you and see you this whole time. I know everything that has happened but I have to tell you the truth. You know I get vibes from people. It's all part of my power. The other five you are working with, they're all scared liked like you. Morgan and Alexis are about to face their fathers for the first time in a long time. Anyone would be a wreck. And Eva, although you don't know much about her, but using my own sources, I have found out that she was a human lat rab for Mystech, the only hostile to ever escape and live. It has to be hard for her to be down there once again. I don't even have to tell you about Blaze Fielding. She has probably suffered the most trauma of anyone, and yet she lives. I have been watching over you since you went unconscious. If anyone had tried to kill you, I would have came to your aid. I will tell you this. Haleigh Davidoff is Cameron King in a Wig. The two of you are very much alike and she WILL forgive you, but in her own way. The only person who I feel you have to be careful around is your own sister, Alison. Polar Opposite personalities and blood relatives at that. Be Careful, Mr. King. When this is done, I will help you find your family, but until then I will be watching over you... but for now, you might want to wake up. Things are about to get more interesting..."
:: Listening to everything that Vivica told him left him feeling pretty charged, but he knew when he got back to his physical body, he would be in great pain. All this information, all this grace and tact. He had never thought about it, but there was so much that he never knew about Vivica. Her intelligence and stature had surpised his greatly and he was a little confused as Vivica touched his cheek and he slipped away from the spring and nature atmosphere back to his own mind, where all he saw was pitch black. He flickered his eyes once more as he surroundings became clear but extremely blurry. He realized he was being dragged and he started to flinch and struggle but it was no use, whoever was holding him was extremely strong. He turned his head and cocked his eyes to see a head of red hair. It was Haleigh? What was she doing, and why was she so strong? He tried to muster words, but they seemed a little slur as he was still waking up. ::
"Haleigh...how are you doi-...i'm sorry for what I did.. put me down.. feeling.. nausious..."
:: He waited for Haleigh to put him down so he could regain strength and attempt to walk. Cameron wanted more than ever now to reunite with the Six and try this thing out. For the first time in his life, Cameron was serving a higher purpose. Something that was beyond him or anyone else in the group. Could they really become the Six? Could they really stop Mystech? ::

** Blaze watched her sister remove the protection of the suit she was given with a deep frown. What is she doing now? Fox knew her sister had some sort of idea but it wasn't until Morgan's change of costume she smirked. Winking at Spellbinder, Fox approved it, after all Blaze was known for leather. Tilting her head to the side with Alexis' catty comment, Foxfire shook her head with a bit of laughter, it was entertaining the rivalry between the two. **
"I'd say far beneath these floors, try the Bio Systems Lab, that's where I was taken for all their maniacal testing and probing."
** A look of anger filled Blaze's jade green eyes, that deep rooted fire returning to her eyes. Flashbacks of the lab techinicans testing and probbing Blaze for hours on end. Blinking the images away, her eyes locked onto Spellbinder. **
"They seem to be more secure underneath all the levels. Everything is backwards here, all the levels I mean. He'll be expecting us especially you Morgan....I remember hearing your name being called when I was still conscious. Both he and Adam seemed to argue often about protocols here. You might be able to manipulate the two against one another, long enough to strike them down. Well, you with Christopher and Alexis with Adam while Guardian and I rescue the other two. I can track the two mad scientists for now...but be careful they have some sort of shadow demon, which can trick my own senses. They used one to recapture me, it looked exactly like you. I trust it, thinking you had come for me."
** Sighing heavily, Blaze kept her wits about her. She was ready to get the hell out of here. As much as she detested her father, she'd let Morgan handle him while she assisted Guardian with rescuing the others. **
"Head downstairs and we'll be able to find them."

::Guardian made minor repairs to her own own leather body suit..which , in design was the perfect synergy of catwoman's suit and storm's leather suit from the mid 80's-90's. body contouring, accentuating her curves and fitting her tall, statuesque frame. The suit was accented with a low slung, double belt...and her spiked heeled boots. She ran her hands through her hair...restoring the sleek, front swooped, glossed bun that was her trade mark::
Foxfire is right...the further we descend, the more vulnerable we will become. They have files on all of us and Imagiomg, their demon mage will be guarding them. He has already laid waste to Prophet and Black Widow, although according to Ororo...they are still..alive.
::Guardian felt a flash of resentment in her heart....she had wanted them both dead...but now....between what she believed to be the revelation of a connection between herself and Prophet...along with Ororo admonishing her to change her ways...she was at a loss ::
This portion of the Citadle, the bio systems lab and deeper will be full of technological traps, sentinels and the worst of the biologically engineered creatures that were deemed "failed experiments". We must be prepared for the worst. We have to stay together until we reach the Bio Systems lab control room itself. only there can we split up for our tasks.

<<Spellbinder lifts her hand up and points at Shockwave...a tingling bell sounds off as sparkling silver trail of eldritch energy flows over to the metahuman....the trail gained a bit of speed as it reached Alexis and began to circle around her at a slightly slanted angel...as her costum began to glow and then fade away....a chime was heard followed by a flash of light....and Alexis was now clothed in.....:
a costume straight out of LITTLE RICHARDS CLOSET complete with a wig to match :D
oh dear me...whatever was i thinking!!! :vamp:
<<Spell waved her hand...and the trail of magick continued to flow around her...enveloping her with its power and soon she emerged wearing a form a basic blue catsuit with a low cut V neck. the chest of the suit was accented by a custom cut gold bodice seperated at the waist by a low slung belt with a lightning bolt buckle on its side. matching mid length gloves and thigh high high heeled boots. the entire outfit had a shimmering quality to it...its metallic shade of colors in keeping with Shockwave's powers and gave her a sleeker, streamlined appaerence. It was a very sexy, body contouring, suit of armour>>
there....that should suit you.
Well......we better get moving. There's no telling what state Cameron and Haleigh are in now...if they are even alive...and of course, we have to be ready for anything.
<< she motioned for everyone to follow her as she made her way through the doors of the exam room and out into the hall. it was darker down here, sounds of power and electricity humming through the walls as fiberoptics shimmered through the floor....there were scorch marks and blood spatters further down...where alot of the chaos from the initial disaster had taken place>>

** Blaze watched with a delightful smile written across her face as Spellbinder worked her magick in creating a new battle armor for Alexis. Biting down on her lower lip seeing the Little Richard costume complete with a wig, Blaze had to fight the urge to laugh. Turning her head away quickly before she lost control. Once the transformation was final, Foxfire glanced up and down Shockwave, not bad. She thought to herself until Morgan's voice pulled her attention.
"East."
** Blaze pointed to the direction her sister had located first. Stepping forth, Foxfire was first to lead the group, her superior senses would be an asset here. **

Haleigh dragged Cameron around the first corner... and stopped at the first door on the left. She slid the access card through the reader.... to no avail. there was NO power down here, it seemed. not even the sliding doors would work. Haleigh used her free hand to slam her fist on the door... and knocked it clean off its sliding rails... She smirked... now THIS was something she could get used to. How much c4 would she have had to use to get the same effect? This room was just as dark, but Haleigh saw it almost as fine as if the lights were on. She scanned the room. Threat was minimal, she decided. This was some form of employee lounge... it had vending machines, a sofa and a couple of chairs, and a countertop complete with a sink and cabinets. Cameron began to speak... and Haleigh dragged him over and set him on the couch. She pat him on the back... perhaps a bit harder than she'd planned.
"Breathe now... just shut up and breathe. How am I doing? Ha.... trust me.... you dont even want to know."
She walked over to the vending machines.... broke the glass on the snack machine and tossed Cameron a couple of bags of chips and a candybar or two. She pulled the door off the coke machine and got a pepsi for her and cameron, and then came over to the sofa and sat down beside him. She handed him a can.
"Can you believe they want a buck seventy-five for this? How ridiculus. Even I have more sense than to pay that much.... and Im fuckin rich. Listen stud... save your apologies... our shit comes later. Adam doesnt want us together... which means together we're more powerful. I may want to strangle you or beat teamwork into your brain... but to my dismay... i need you alive and well for the time being. Eat up... you'll need your strength."

:: Looking down at her Little Richard outfit, her eyes slowly lifted up and met with Morgan's. With a very monotone and sarcastic tone, Alexis spoke. ::
"Cute."
:: Shaking her head, soon the magick began to swirl around her body once more, until a very sexy and sleek blue costume was seen fitting perfectly to her tall slender body. With a look of "not bad", Alexis looked up and smiled to Morgan. ::
"Now this is what I'm talking about.."
:: Running her hands down her smooth leather suite, Alexis turned on her heal and followed Morgan and Blaze out of into the hall. Hearing Morgan ask for light, Alexis veered off to the right and placed her hand on the wall. Sending charges of energy, soon the lights began to fade on, and finally the area illuminated at it's brightest. A few bulbs could be heard cracking from the sudden energy boost, but overall, the area was completely lit. Removing her hand, she began to walk a little faster to catch up to the group. Maneuvering her way passed Guardian seeing as how she had to be in the rear, once within the group, Alexis slowed her pace to match the others. ::
"Done."

** Stalking through the halls like a lion, Blaze's eyes zoomed back and forth between each of the walls. Despite the group's high heeled boots, Foxfire listened intensely beyond their footing, Her fingertips spread out, ready to strike out the first visible threat she saw. Clever and cunning like a cat, Foxfire usually always landed onto her feet. That street smart knowledge kept her alive, which differed greatly from Morgan's elegant and tasteful diva like attitude. **
"Guardian's right, Titan is probably 20 or 30 steps down this hall. He's gaining more ground, sounds like he could be running."
** Small flames arose around Blaze's palms, lighting up her shadows within the hall. The flickering fire fed from her skin. Freely blazing a small inferno within her hands, Foxfire was charging up her power in case for a quick attack. Her attention still awaiting instructions from Spellbinder now, who seemed to be the team leader with Guardian as her second in command.

Foxfire has been the subject of intense biological manipulation during her time her...perhaps the extreme experimentation has warped her perception? I cannot detect any malice on her part. But now that you've come here and brought your little friends, I suppose you think you'll finish me off. You managed to rescue Foxfire, but you won't get out of here alive. MysTech will NOT be stopped by a couple of ball busting witches, a childish metahuman and treacherous mutant. Chrisopher: temper , temper, Morgan. Your power can only be effective If you are ALIVE to use it. In case you forgot, we remember VERY WELL your time with Valiant. We also remember that you were NOT a team player and that your repeated out bursts and bloodthirsty tactics nearly cost you and your sister your lives when you abandonned your team's headquaters to the sentinels. Not to mention when you rampaged through the hangar dock in an attempt to murder your own team leader...i believe her name was Volt. Because you didnt want ANYONE telling you what to do. That's always been your problem, Morgan...you believe your too beautiful and too powerful for ANYONE to tell you what to do. Perhaps you are....but I'll be damned if i let you or your little friends and your treacherous sister stop our plans and jeopardize the lively hood of MysTech.

:: Cameron closed his eyes until he soon found himself on a couch in some kind of lounge like room. A waiting room of sorts. The softness of the battered couch felt extremely good against his aching body, or at least it did until Haleigh patted him on the back with a lot more strength than Prophet thought she intended to. That machine had done things to her, but whatever it was, he sure as hell felt a lot safer with Super Black Widow than just Haleigh Davidoff at this point. He sat up, rubbing his head as his vision returned to normal. He was still in his briefs, which if they ran into anyone at this point, would be extremely embarassing. He used his power of Illusions to create a new suit, similar to the one he had worn before it was peeled off of his body. At least this way everyone would THINK he was clothed until he could find suitable ones. He picked up one of the bags of chips that Haleigh threw at him and he could literally feel his mouth salivating. Cameron was beyond hungry. He began eating the chips before breaking out in laughter, although it was an exhausted and lethargic laugh. He looked at Haleigh. ::
"How PISSED do you think Alison is going to be when she sees we are still alive! I mean damn, we've survived her, Adam Chandler, and that Skeleton Man and we are still here. Those women underestimated us for sure... but I guess now, things have changed a little bit..."
:: His thought went instantly to Alison. Could she really be his sister? Was it just some type of game that Adam had been playing with them to further the break within the group? Was he REALLY that scared of the Six of them reuniting and becoming a team? Cameron could only ponder what they would become capable of if they stayed together. Although, Cameron was doubtful that it would ever happen. They all had very tempermental personalities and swore alleigance to nobody but themselves. There was no way possible that they would be able to do this. ::
"One thing is for sure.. the next time any of them try to kill us, it should be a walk in the park..."
:: His laughter continued.. it was about the only thing left he could do without just going insane. ::

:: Making her way into the round room, Alexis glanced around while listening to the conversation between Guardian and Spellbinder. Hearing Guardian say it was a trap, suddenly Alexis heard another voice enter the conversation. Turning towards where the voice was coming from, Alexis' eyes shifted upward seeing an older looking man on the screen. It was obviously Christopher. Glancing between the monitor and Spellbinder, she watched as the woman became tense and extremely agitated at the site of her father...she knew exactly how Morgan felt. Looking back at the monitor, Alexis rolled her eyes at Christopher's comment about her being a child and a light bulb. He had no idea....Shaking her head, Alexis remained quiet, this wasn't her fight...her fight was with her own father. But suddenly, the room began to spin extremely fast, throwing Alexis off balance. Soon, a small scream escaped her lips as she was suddenly pulled to the wall by force of gravity, and slammed into it. With her stomach against the wall, it felt like the air was being pushed out of her from the force of the spinning...but soon, Alexis' eyes dropped seeing the ground beneath them soon disappear. ::

:: She stood...her arms folded and she was clearly unintimidated by the man in the lens. She knew she was more than capable of holding her own and helping to bring an end to his terror. Just as spellbinder destroyed the lens with her eldritch bolt, the room began to spin so fast..so hard. the force of gravity smashing her against the wall before she could reach out with her hand::

"This is the East Morg..."
** Just as Foxfire was about to speak the remaining letters of her sister's name, the doors behind them sealed tightly. Spinning around in her tracks, Blaze eyed the wall carefully when suddenly a familiar voice startled her. That strong masculine voice was unmistakable that's for sure. Christopher! Thought Blaze to herself while her body tensed and tightened when her eyes located a monitor with his image upon it. A feeling of hatred and rage washed over Foxfire, this was supposedly her father! But how could such a man even subject both of his daughters to such inhumane evil? **
"Don't waste your breath Morgan, he's only an image. If he was man enough, he would face you."
** She hissed with contempt, a glare within her eyes revealed her dislike of this horrid place. Just as Spellbinder blew the lens away, it seemed to almost trigger a trap. Blaze felt gravity shift and not in her flavor. Lifting up into the air, she was violently tossed into a wall. Smacking her back bone quickly, Blaze moaned lowly in her throat. Her head fell forward until her body seemed to stick to the wall. It reminded Blaze of a ride that amused crowds at the county fair called the Gravatrane, which caused the fans to be pulled to the walls with the floor opening under everyone. Regaining her breath, Foxfire greatly pulled her head from the wall to glance downwards, seeing nothing but pitch blackness. She guessed within that bottomless pit were stabbing weapons or some sort of animals. Her mind raced for a solution out of this clever trap. **
This device must be controlled but where is it contained? If I remember correctly a Centrifuge runs by a wheel and some sort of electric device. Alexis would be able to locate this electricity, maybe short circuiting it?
** Remaining calm, Blaze thought more about her theory. Her college background in science were the key to this puzzle. Hearing Guardian's instructions, Foxfire concentrated on her own fire power, engulfing herself in flames. For a split second, Blaze was able to float until the high powered winds, blew her flames out, causing Fox to free fall downwards until she was sucked into another wall, opposite Guardian now. Cringing from the pain, Blaze's eyes searched for the device. It had to be around here somewhere. Shouting would be difficult for the others to hear, her mind called out to Spellbinder. **
Morgan! This technology has to be run by a wheel and perhaps an electronic device. Maybe Guardian could locate where in this room it is and Shockwave can cancel out its energy and electricity? Then you could transport us out of this thing via stepping disk or something else.
** Blaze's eyes locked with Morgan to get her attention, opening up the rapport for the two. It was up to Morgan for the decision.

:: Alexis' blonde hair whipped in front of her face, making it difficult for her to see the scrying pool Guardian made in front of her. Hearing Guardian's words, with all her might, she managed to slowly flip her right hand over so her palm touched the wall. Channeling all her energy, soon electricity shot from her palm and absorbed into the wall now traveling to the source of the devise. Unfortunately, not only did the electricity travel to the devise, but it soon reached each woman and began to electrocute them as well. Feeling like they were in an electric chair, the electricity ran throughout their bodies. ::
:: The lights began to flicker and a very loud buzzing noise could be heard in the hollow room, until finally, the devise short circuited and the spinning motion of the room began to slow. Stopping the electrical pulses, she knew the others would be pissed at her for giving them a jolt...but it was worth it because the make shift amusement ride was stopped. ::
:: But soon, the gravity began to lessen, and Alexis began to slip inch by inch. The more the room slowed, the less gravity was being forced upon Alexis' body...therefore not keeping her on the wall. ** Foxfire's tactical plan seemed to work as Spellbinder yelled out to Guardian who aided Shockwave. Shutting her eyes, Blaze began to feel uneasy and nauseous from the furious spinning they were tortured to. Easing each breath out, she listened to the interaction between the women. An unusual electrical current caught her attention just as she opened her eyes, a jolt of electricity shot through Blaze. Her body shook and her hair frizzed with shock. The pain hadn't been much for her healing factor but it was enough to send unsteady tremors through Foxfire. **
** Just as the jolt ended, another problem arose. Blaze's fingertips scratched at the cold metal walls trying to gain some sort of footing or grip. But all she could do was fall downward towards that pit. She could only hope, Spellbinder or Guardian could rescue them at this point. **

<< there now in an area that seemed "abandonned" area of the bio systems lab....dark, and even a cobweb or two...with broken incubation tubes...and small computer consoles in various spots..and a pulsating hum of energy in the air>>
is this where we are supposed to be!? where are Black Widow and Prophet? I suppose we better get to them before Imagiomg does.....

:: Continuing to free fall, Alexis really didn't like the idea of not knowing when they were going to hit the ground, but before she could say anything, all the woman were sucked into a stepping disc. As quickly as they were in the air, they were on the ground. But of course, Morgan was being a vindictive ass and made Alexis fall closer to the ground, therefore the meta human landed hard on her stomach in a pile of sand. Coughing, she sat up shaking her head to remove some sand that was in her hair. Shifting her eyes upward, she narrowed them at Spellbinder. Rolling her eyes, Alexis pushed herself up off the ground knowing she was being sarcastically catty and lowered the stepping disc on purpose. ::
"Well...you aren't the cherry on my sundae of life either..."
:: Standing, Alexis brushed off the sand from her metallic blue suite, and began to glanced around the area in which they were in. ::

** She held her breath while they fell, holding it for when she really required it. Just then however a stepping disk caught her and the others transporting them to safety. As the disk opened, Fox fell out of it landing skillfully like a black cat on her feet. Crouching down she stood up to see the others all around her. But it seemed Shockwave was content with eating the dust bunnies off of Spellbinder's boots instead. A giggle sounded deep within her throat until she saw the look of annoyance on Alexis' facial expression. These two highly amuse me! She thought to herself while dusting off her armor and fixing her frazzled hair. **
** Foxfire kept quiet for now, gathering back her strength and her wits from that unnerving trip the group had taken. Unfortunately she didn't have a lock on Black Widow or Prophet because she never had met them. So finding them would be more difficult for her. Smelling the air, she turned her head to the side, it smelled like an old cellar down there. Cobwebs were located all around. With just a plane thought, two solid lasers shot from Foxfire's eyes heading infront of them to light the way while the others recovered. The lasers traveled through the open space of the area until they collided with a wall where it sparked and flickered like a flare. **

we arent safe here...not that we were any where else...Imagiomg is using his magick to alter reality around us. distorting our perception. Titan and a troop of creatures are closing in on us......we need to make short work of them and fight our way to the Control Room....If we go this way..:: pointing to the north passage way we can blast our way through the creatures and gain "back door" access to the ground of the "control room of the lab"....granted ....it is highly likely that once we get there Adam and Christopher will be in the booth high above.....ready to hit us with an onslaught...but my perception of probable time threads is so clouded right now.

Haleigh scarfed down her own chips, moving on to the second bag quickly. She paused to open her can of soda, laughing with Cameron.
"Oh, she'll be livid. I can't WAIT."
She said micheivously, as she tried to open her can. She pulled the metal tab off... and frowned, getting up to get another can from the vending machine. She looke dat Cameron as he mentioned how things had changed... and nodded, speaking rather softly as she reached for another can.
"Yes... the development with your sister. You think she knew, Cameron? You think she knew when she left us to the Ant Lions? Could her heart be blacker than mine?"
She asked, as she pulled the tab off a second can. "WHAT the FUCK??" She exclaimed, frustrated. "One thing is for DAMN sure... the NEXT person to try to kill me is going to sorely regret it... for the rest of what pitiful, mangled life i leave them with." Haleigh knew Cam felt the same way. Haleigh turned to look at Im... that sound of rushing water was all too familiar. Haleigh gave another laugh... one hand still on the rim of the soda vendor, closing tightly around it such that her fingers made dents in the metal.
"Well YOU havent been paying much attention, have you hun? Wonder Girl and the Model Spectacular have been trying to kill us since we set foot in this god forsaken hole-in-the-floor. You know WHAT? I think I've had just about enough of you, motherfucker."
Haleigh had one advantage... Imagiomg and Adam couldn't possibly be aware of the mutations caused by the TO virus... in fact... she could only imagine they expected the procedure to kill her... and though Haleigh herself was still discovering her newfound abilities... Im would be taken quite offguard. Haleigh used that... and she quickly picked up the soda machine and hurled it at Im.
"What'dya think of THAT, bitch?" :hehe:

:: Cameron pondered Haleigh's thoughts for a moment wondering if in fact Alison did know they were brother and sister, but he didn't think she did. He would have been able to sense at least something from her, Seer or not. Just when the moment had lightened for a minute the sound of rushing water could be heard and it was a sound Cameron had dreaded. Thankfully, the rest and food had charged him up, he was still not nearly at his full strength. He watched as Haleigh, with even more confidence than before stood up to the Demon Mage. He watched Black Widow pick up the Soda Machine and hurled it at Im as if it was a sack of potatoes. Cameron stood to his feet before he found himself in the path of the Soda Machine himself and the mage in his exact space. As he was only seconds away from impact he did the only thing he could as he tried to grab somewhat of a Telekinetic hold on the machine as he lifted his own protective shields. The combination of the forcefield along with his own hold on the machine, caused it to slow, though it still smacked into him, and though it hurt, Cameron was now running on adrenaline. He was sick of being Mystech's BITCH tonight and he wasn't going down without a fight. As the machine slowed, he saw the Mage concerned with Haleigh as he used his own powers to telekinetically lift the machine in the air and hurl it back at the mage as he was still concerned with Haleigh and would most likely not think of Cameron attacking him back. Quickly, Prophet created an astral clone of himself as he stood in the corner of the room. He hoped when the soda machine hit it would knock his concentration and at least stop the attack on Haleigh. ::
"Man, if you really want us to constitute the Six, then by all means, take us to our Destiny, Imp!"
:: It didn't make sense for the Mage to want to put all of the Six in a room together when that is what they had been doing ever since they all arrived. Separating them and trying to kill all of them. Maybe they should think about that. They haven't been able to kill anyone out of the group. Each one had faced some kind of trouble and they had made it through. Someone was protecting the Six tonight and now it was up to them. ::
"My thinking is Six against 1, maybe 2, the odds are in our favor!"
:: This was the Cameron that everyone was used to seeing, the one that got under your skin faster than anyone you had ever met. The cocky, arrogant, son of a bitch, who took orders from nobody and could care less how powerful you were. He couldn't be defeated. Cameron was tired of playing around and being scared tonight. Prophet was back, and ready for action. ::

:: Brushing the last of the sand off, Alexis listened to both Guardian and Spellbinder chat about this Imagiomg person and how it was yet another obstacle for them to get passed. Letting a soft sigh escape her lips, what she wouldn't give for a nice warm bubble bath and relaxing music right about now. Then something Spellbinder said caught her attention...about how Adam and Christopher weren't ignorant to their powers. Shifting her eyes downward, ohhh they had no idea. Adam taught Alexis everything she knew---from the time she was just a child, he was sculpting her into his little killing machine. Adam knew as much about Alexis' powers...if not more, than Alexis herself. ::
:: Slowly following the others, thoughts continued to run throughout Alexis' mind about seeing her father again for the first time. She knew this was exactly why she was here...to kill her father. To maim him beyond recognition. To stop him and his partner Christopher. But Alexis began to have doubts....Soon Alexis stopped in her tracks. ::

** Like the loyal soldier she was, Foxfire listened to both Guardian and Spellbinder with a sparkle in her eyes. This new creature Guardian spoke of was alluring to Blaze, it seemed full of power and knowledge of the black arts, shuttering to herself with a smirk. Walking with the others with quick wide steps, Blaze took measure in her new surroundings, she was itching for a good battle. Lifting her left palm, taking it into her right palm before a sickening crunch was heard, Blaze had a habit of cracking her knuckles ever since she was a teenager. That stubborn nature of hers was always evident but at times more so than ever. However, while in her own sense of fighting state, Blaze's ears casually listened to Shockwave's last sentence. Narrowing her eyes, Blaze cartwheeled over towards Alexis so fast provided her agility it caught Alexis off guard. With one forceful yank, Blaze pulled the manipulator towards her face, mere inches from hers. Her eyes full of flaming imprints while her tone was lethal. **
"Suck it up Alexis! Stop being the insecure little girl I pegged you for and show us what passion you really posses! You've come so far yet your going to back down now?! Where is that spark I saw within you!"
** Blaze was clearly provoking Alexis, but it was her own harsh way of motivating her. Her fingers released the front tip of Shockwave's new battle suit but her form was clearly still standing into Alexis. Obviously Blaze was probably the most stubborn and pig headed of the whole bunch of the Six. She wouldn't allow any teammate to back out now just as she wouldn't leave either. **
"We've come so FUCKING far Alex, don't disappoint me now!"
** Blaze's chest expanded with each heavy breath, her fiery temper beginning to let lose slowly but she did so on purpose. She knew Alexis would lash back at her, it was who she was. But Blaze also knew the blue eyed beauty would also partially listen to her. **
"You have a destiny with this team, do not end your fate."
** Foxfire's own words were cryptic and mysterious, a quality she often possessed. Her statements were sought in riddles and only the clever and cunning could figure them out. And she knew Alexis could but if only she desired. **

:: Suddenly Alexis was grabbed by Blaze, being shook and yelled at. Alexis didn't say anything. She didn't even bother looking up at Blaze...something very uncharacteristic of the meta human. Alexis' didn't bother to say another word to anyone in the group, as they continued to walk to their destiny. ::

** It was Blaze who was surprised at Shockwave's actions, she at least expected her to comment but nothing? Blinking her eyes twice, making sure this was not a dream. What was up with Alexis? Blaze couldn't be sure but it certainty unnerved the mutant. Usually Alexis was known for her own set of catty comments but not a word was spoken. What is up with her? The enigma asked herself when she was greeted by a push towards the others, Blaze quickly stumbled but found her balance in mere seconds. Straightening up her pose she knew the meta human wasn't going to budge, perhaps Guardian or Spellbinder would talk some sense into her. **
** Although Foxfire hadn't known Shockwave for long, she sensed the girl was troubled. Placing both hands behind her back while standing firmly, Fox sighed heavily. Blaze at times resembled that soldier, willing and ready to fight. Her eyes locked onto Alexis for a few more seconds until Blaze broke the contact, noticing the change in shade from blue to white. An inkling to her demeanor perhaps? Blaze wasn't sure but she also seemed to be getting no where with her teammate. Turning at the waist, she followed the others carefully, her lost in her own thoughts. **
This metahuman is intriguing but what is she running from? Perhaps its her past or maybe even her father, Adam? Although some demons you must face alone I'm sure...
** Maneuvering her hands to around infront of her, pressing her fingertips together in a triangle position. It was Blaze's own stance of comfortably. Such a pose was practiced by monks or gypsy's. This was the final installment of the test, either Shockwave followed the team or she disbanded. It was her chose and deep down not even Blaze could force or change that. Her own thoughts centering onto their other teammates, listening to Spellbinder's question. Blaze herself sensed and lingered onto the two she hadn't met, Prophet and Black Widow. **
"I think they are both alive but I doubt they will harm us....unless provoked. And I doubt they have been brainwashed, if anything they are the bait to our own trap. Adam and Christopher are holding them captive just like me. I'm sure they have already run tests but judging from the reports I read on both of them, they should be able to cancel or nullify any tests done or harmed to them. Guardian and Spellbinder, you two will be seen as a threat for leaving them...whether you did this for good measure or not. Be on the guard with them, their emotions will overcloud their judgment. They will be unsure of me....because I am your sister, Morgan but also because they haven't met me. Their feelings on me could be indecisive, I'm unsure."

<< Spellbinder stretched as she walked...>>
you're probably right Fox. You were always intuitive as to the nature of people...you can gauge how hostile they are or may become. I on the other hand feel more comfortable blasting first...asking questions later.
Judging by what Ororo said, Guardian left Black Widow and Prophet in some kind of lurch a while back. I dont know what happened....as i wasnt there...BUT i do know that those two had been provoking her all night. Guardian is a good woman. She was there for me when i grieved during your "loss", Blaze. She's been instrumental to helping me bring Illustra back from the brink....and look at all she has done tonight....she nearly laid her life down for us to prevent Black from destroying us.
I dont care what those two have to say...I'm NOT letting them attack Alison....even now...she is HELPING us to find them. We all make mistakes..and I'm sure that her anger was what motivated her to leave them behind.
<< Spellbinder clenched her fist....she wanted Black Widow to give her an excuse to knock her block off....they had been at odds most of the night...but Ororo's words rang in her head...they HAD to lay aside their differences...and work together>>

** And it seemed if the remaining members of the Six were to work together perhaps Foxfire would be the key to unlocking each of them. Blaze herself was at times less aggressive than Morgan, and her intuitive nature helped detect what others really felt instead of a phony act. Her eyes glanced over to Guardian, the woman showed astonishing courage this very night and Blaze sensed her strong chain of command, which probably helped linked Alison with Morgan. **
"I have no doubt about Guardian's beliefs, she's a woman with a strong sense of dignity and honor. I already respect her and I don't question her actions. I was curious what happened between herself and the other two..."
** Foxfire could gain a greater knowledge of the last two members of the Six. They seemed very self absorbed but Blaze knew that was just a cover for their own self insecurities. Resorting back to her memory, she pictured both Hal and Cam within her mind, both good looking but their eyes....revealed secrecy and backstabbing. **
"They think only of themselves BUT its for a reason Morgan. I'm willing to bet the both of them once depended on others and in the end, those either failed them or turned on them. If not that theory than perhaps they've always been alone, living with the company of there own shadow? I'll get a better perception once we find them....I'm not the one angry or flustered by them."
** Blaze peered into her sister's violet eyes before tenderly touching her shoulder. Getting through to her sibling on a deeper connection. **
"Remember how you were back in Valiant....pig headed and highly independent. You thought you could tackle any villain. I think the two of them share your passion but I also saw another side to you, which is exactly what you and Alison will have to do. They are both younger I believe than you, so of course they are going to be arrogant and pompous, I still am. Give them a chance Morgan....look behind how self absorbed they can be. In your time, there was a reason why you had to be in control. Why? Because you were the victim of being controlled and no one, not even the leader, Volt would step in your way. All I'm saying is give them time, but if they do attack then its your call."
** Blaze winked over at her sister until she continued to walk beside her, side by side with Spellbinder towering over her younger sister. Blaze began to feel like the short one with all these statuesque women. But in her heart, she knew Morgan would ponder what she has told her. **

Soon, a noise, not made by the four woman, caught Alexis' attention...it seemed to come from ahead. Perhaps it was Titan? Or maybe it was Cameron and Haliegh. Haleigh gave a hearty and amused laugh, her hands on her hips.
I don't give a damn WHAT you think, you supercilious reprobate. You're right... my new abilities wont change a thing... I always WAS going to win, I STILL am going to win.... this little TO boost just makes it a little more fun. What did YOU think, the Power of Mystech could attempt to play god and wouldn't end up with a little experiment they couldn't CONTROL? Allow me to acquaint you with reality."
She said, as Im raised his hands. Haleigh took a step back and raised her own arms in protection.... a move that wouldn't much help.... Her hands clutched her head as the soul flare took its toll... falling back against the snack machine with such force that it toppled over. Haleigh groaned, and the microwave on the counter behind Im exploded vehemently, flying apart in pieces and striking Im in the lower to mid back even as the soda machine came bearing down upon him for round two. Haleigh could hardly see through the fuzz... but she did see a blast of light and the flying machinery. She stumbled toward Prophet, bumping into the sofa and ultimately throwing it over towards Im to put obstacles between them.
"Time to LEAVE, wouldn't you agree??"
She asked Cam, scrambling for the door. She was still finding it difficult to see... but she could make out basic shapes and shades of blue againas they spilled out of the lounge and into the dark hallway once more.

:: Quickly Cameron shifted back into his body as he watched the Chaos that unfolded with Haleigh. She had definitely gotten a lot more powerful and this new edge would definitely allow them some time to regroup and what not. He grabbed Haleigh by the hand as they both piled out of the lounge and into the dark hallway, knowing that the Mage wouldn't be far behind. They took off at a dead running heat downwards towards some unknown direction as Cameron stopped for a second as he noticed a special kind of suit hanging on the wall that must have been used for experimentation as he quickly slipped it on. As they rounded the corner, he stopped taking breath and looked at Haleigh. ::
"Well, I'm almost positive we HAVEN'T lost him, but as long as we can keep him on the run we might be able to keep this going until we find a way out or someone that can help us, which being here I don't think is going to be much of an option..."
:: Just then Cameron stopped to think about something. The girls had to be looking for them and if Mystech wanted them together, he might as well lead the girls to them. It would be easier with Spellbinder being able to Teleport. The only person that he could be able to contact was Alexis, as Guardian and Spellbinder were blocked from his own powers. He took a simple second to look around at his surroundings as he concentrated, honing in on Alexis as he made contact. He didn't know if she was alone or not, but he was taking pride in the fact that she was at least still alive. The Image stirred in his head as it was created. He projected it out to Alexis along with the words "Bio Systems Level". He was hoping that Alison or Morgan would be able to somehow tap into the image from Alexis and teleport to Haleigh and Cameron. He stopped to think for a minute if they even would respond, but still the message was sent and there was nothing he could do about it now. He turned back to Haleigh. ::
"We have to stay here for a second.. I just sent a message to Shockwave.. I don't know if she will respond, but hopefully reinforcements will come. If they want us all together in the same spot, we have to do it on our own terms..."

:: Charging her body with electricity as a procaution, she was almost certain one of the woman would strike her...if so, it wouldn't effect Alexis, basically bounce off of her. Side stepping, Alexis began to slowly make her way passed Guardian, keeping her glare on each woman as she moved. ::

** Looking Shockwave up and down slowly...the enigma sensed her secrecy and knew the reason for it but remained quiet. Her passive aggressive behavior only amused Blaze who folded her arms across her chest. Clearing her throat she spoke clearly to the others with a comical trait. **
"You know, I know this store that has a great sell on dildo's for her, I'm seriously thinking of calling him and buying out the whole store for Alexis."
** Chuckling to herself before she became serious. Blaze's behavior was almost like a chameleon, one minute you'd think she'd pounce and then the next she used humor to calm the situation. Placing both her hands onto her hips, while tilting her head. She stepped forth, following towards Shockwave. **
"Wait up Sparky!"
** Fixing her collar, Blaze strutted after Alexis without any questions or demands. That cocky arrogance now beginning to ooze out of her. Turning towards Spellbinder and Guardian, she nodded to them. **
"We have no choice guys."

:: Walking in a quicker pace, Alexis heard Blaze's remark about a dildo and buying an abundance amount of the meta human. Rolling her eyes, Alexis allowed her eyes to shift upward seeing a very faint blinking light in a dark corner...::
"I wonder...when Christopher held you captive, did he mussel you? Or was he not given that sanction."
:: Alexis' tone was very cruel, yet calm. Her eyes followed the red blinking light as she passed...once the light was out of range, she looked forward, noticing the corridor become lighter towards the end. Not bothering to see if the other woman were on her tail, she just continued to walk towards the light...everything seemed very familiar---it looked exactly like the corridor from the images that Cameron sent. Alexis was close..::

** Raising a brow, Blaze let the mussel comment go, obviously Alexis needed to rid the cock from her ass and soon. But Fox didn't bother retorting back to her teammate, instead she let it go with a shrug. Pulling out a cigarette from her back pocket, she lit it instantly with her own power, blowing smoke from her lips casually. **
"That's so flattering, why thank you my dear."
** She finally spoke with a monotone voice volume. She didn't care what statements Alexis made or the things she could do. If the girl wanted to alienate everyone that was her business but Blaze herself wasn't going to object. With a couple more puffs, she flicked the cigarette away quickly. Blaze wasn't a smoker but every now and then she enjoyed one. She continued to follow Alexis once more, keeping to herself in a cool and calm manner. **

:: Cameron watched as Spellbinder appeared before both Haleigh and Cameron, looking extremely different than she did the last time they both had seen her. Something was definitely off. Morgan Victoria wasn't the type of girl who normally just stood there waiting for something to happen. She took charge and she took control. What exactly was going on? She said nothing to Haleigh's comment which would have normally set the Witch off in a Rage. This just wasn't right, still Cameron had to pretend everything was all right as he looked at Morgan in the eyes, commenting on the situation. ::
"Oh.. so you remembered the rendezvous point? Come on, let's collect the others.."
:: It was a bold face lie, but if this was Spellbinder, she would slap him and wonder what the Hell he was talking about. A thought hit Cameron once more. The whole situation just seemed so off.. He sent another image to Alexis of Spellbinder standing before them in her different outfit at all. He sent her the words "Imposter" and a question mark. Hopefully she would be able to let him know somehow if the Spellbinder before them was really the Spellbinder they loathed so much. He nudged Haleigh and looked back at "Morgan" ::
"So, are we gonna go or what?"

:: Alexis continued to walk until she suddenly stopped dead in her tracks. Her mind filled once again, with images that Cameron sent her. This time...images of "Spellbinder". This Spellbinder had her old suite on that Haliegh gave her...her violet eyes were almost black...it was an imposter. Snapping out of it, Alexis started to walk once more, picking up her pace. They were very close...she could sense it. ::

**"Spellbinder" looked over at Prophet and laughed softly but wickedly.**
I've got your rendezvous point right here!:vamp:
** she moved so fast and so suddenly, with the sound of blasting thunder as she extended her hands...and ensnared both of them in mystic chains...quite unbreakable by any physical/psychic means. the two were not tightly constricted by the glowing rings of mystic force that surrounded them**
and now...its back to the bio system's lab with you...so that you may meet your END
**"Spellbinder" gestured....and transported them all back to the large spacious control room of the bio systems lab....only upon their arrival, "she" was no longer there.**
Imagiomg: you're would be rescuers will be arriving soon, but given their current state of mind....i doubt they may be of any use!
**now both unable to move and laying on the floor, Cameron and Haleigh could see a scrying pool above them showing recent images of Guardian and Spellbinder confronting a strange acting Shockwave. They saw Shockwave's highly questionable behavior....and new they were making their way here**
Imagiomg: Lab, initial Citadle protocall defense systems. Launch upon the arrival of Spellbinder, Shockwave, Foxfire and Guardian.....all levels...LETHAL!
**the walls and floor began to shimmer and hum as they came to life with energy and power....high above...sounds of metal shifting and cannons mounting could be heard...while other various mechanisms around the extremely large and spacious room began to come online ready to unleash their various and deadly powers, with Cameron and Haleigh in the EYE of the technological storm**
Enjoy the show you two repulsive insects...
**Imagiomg seemed to disappeare...leaving Haleigh and Cameron in the dark...they could FEEL the power around them and the deadly traps and scenarios that awaited the others but they could not move at all**

Dont fire on Shockwave.....not yet at least.
::leaning in to whisper in Spell's ear::
she may not be who we thought she was. I cannot be sure...but the possibility of her betraying us is looming LARGE in the probability fields that i can somewhat see. Let's just get to the lab through the "back door" entrance....and deal with her there...where we will have more room.

"SPELLBINDER!!"
** Yelled Foxfire from behind her sister, she had been watching the drama unfold. What was happening to this team? "We need her Morgan. She knows Adam better than any one of us." Just then Guardian began to calm Spellbinder down, lowering her hand. **
** With a sigh she watched Alison walk by Morgan, allowing Blaze to seperate the two of them. With a wave of her hand a small flame rose around Shockwave's boots, seperating herself from Spellbinder. **

:: Hearing Spellbinder scream with rage at Alexis' actions, she could sense the woman was about to attack her. Not even flinching at the idea of Spellbinder attacking her from behind, Alexis wasn't an idiot...she did expect this reaction from Spellbinder, and had a plan of her own. ::
"I'm shaking in my boots."
:: Her voice was very mono tone expressing her lack of fear from the woman. Turning the corner ahead, Alexis soon spotted a door that seemed to lead into a rather large looking room. The images Cameron had sent replayed in her mind once more, and everything matched. This was where the Black Widow and Prophet were. Picking up her pace, Alexis continued walking down the corridor as the door to the Bio System Lab inched closer. ::

"Yes... there's a problem INDEED... for you my dear... are NO LONGER NEEDED if you cant produce us a stepping disc. GOOD DAY."
Haleigh said, as though theyd run into each other in the supermarket and were parting ways, as she took Cam's hand to drag him away. She didnt get more than two steps, however, as she was snatched up in mystic chains... she found herself on the floor in the bio systems lab once more... she took a second to roll her eyes and inject her sarcasm.
"Oh, good.... becuase I was beginning to feel as though I hadn't SPENT ENOUGH TIME TIED UP THIS EVENING!!!"
She ended at the top of her lungs as she strugged against her chains. had they been made of steel instead... she might have broken free. she looked up at the scrying pool... and for a split second... wondered if it would be worth it to do nothing and watch Gaurdian meet her well-deserved end....
"SHIT... goddamn it, son of a mother-fucking BITCH! I can't BELIEVE I'm saying this. Cameron.... you've got to stop them from coming in here... chase them away... send them false coordinates, something, ANYTHING...."

:: Before he could even blink he found himself back in th Bio-Systems Lab floor once again, and once again tied up completely by some kind of mystic force. He watched the Demon Mage initiate the fatal defense systems and Cameron gulped as he looked at Haleigh was was ranting and raving and carrying on about the situation. He whispered inside her head as the two plotted in secret. ::
"Hales, I can try to ward them off, but Spellbinder and Alison are already obviously wary of Alexis. I have to show them all in front of everyone. I just don't know how I can do it yet. Gimme a second..."
:: Cameron closed his eyes as he soon found himself as if he was having and out of body experience. From this view he could see almost on the Bio Systems Level, and he could see that the four women were too close for comfort. He didn't know exactly how he was going to do so but he took the risk as he returned to his body, opened his eyes and winked at Haleigh as his body glew a pale orange for a split second. He had astral projected to the girls location and appeared right in front of them. His astral form was intangible so he figured if the girls attacked him, it would make things easier. All he had to do was distract them while Haleigh and Cameorn figured out a way to deactivate the defense systems. As he appeared before the women he saw their faces of shock. He looked at everyone except for Alison. ::
"DON'T GO TO CONTROL ROOM! IT'S A TRAP! IMAGIOMG HAS IT SET UP! DON'T GO THERE! GIVE US SOME TIME TO DEACTIVATE IT! IF YOU GO, YOU WILL DIE!"
:: He stood there as his corporeal human form turned to Haleigh and whispered once more in her mind, as it was now time to go into action. ::
"I got a hold of them, though I doubt they will be smart enough to listen. Meanwhile, we need to figure out how to deactivate the Defense Systems? If I can use my telekinesis to some how short circuit it, that might work, but you are the tech geek, so you have to give me the basics.. We have to work fast. We can lay fast waste to this place if we work together..."
:: And so both forms of Cameron waited on responses from the women, hoping that for once in their lives they would just do as they were told. ::

Haleigh shrugged. She seemed to be incapable of properly grasping the grave nature of any dangerous situation.
"Or..... you could tell them the truth.... but i doubt that will work... deception is more effective and less painful than reality nine-tenths of the time."
She said matter-of-factly, scoping out the room.... and the defense systems. She could hear Cam asking her for tech help in her head... lets see... what would be the most simplistic way to explain this? She imagined a picture of a battery and light bulb connected by two wires.
Okay... this is a circuit. noticed how one wire goes from the negative to the bulb and one from the positve side to the bulb? this is a closed circuit, the amperage flows from the negative end to the positive end and when closed it lights the bulb. pull one wire away and you have an open circuit, and no light. now, lets say the light bulb is the defense system and the battery is the generator that powers the systems. now, this system is a bit more complicated... AND protected. imagine somewhere in there is a set of circuit breakers designed to protect the expensive electrical systems from amperage overload. what YOU need to do is start manuallly [telekinetically] throwing the circuit breakers... this will open the circuit and tada, no light. the generator is thirty feet, ten oclock.
Haleigh rolls over and looks around, her eyes stop on a metal box a few feet above the floor. ah... that would be the circuit breaker box. on the wall, three oclock.

:: Startled by the appearance of Prophet, Alexis quickly stopped listening to his astral self warn the woman not to go into the bio system lab. Shaking her head, Alexis quickly spoke as she stepped forward "waving" the astral form away like smoke. ::
"That wasn't Prophet....why would Prophet WARN us after Guardian and I left both him and Haleigh to die? It's a trick....Adam knows we are outside of the bio system lab and he's trying to ward us away!"
:: Alexis continued to stand where Prophet's astral form once way. Not bothering to turn around to face the woman, Alexis awaited with anticipation to if they would listen to her or to Prophet. ::

:: Cameron could tell that his message to the four women hadn't worked so he turned his attention back to Haleigh as she began to explain the inner workings of Electrial Equipment and whatnot. Boy this would have been the perfect time for Recall to be with him. That was a lot of stuff to remember, but if he could, they might have some kind of a shot at getting out of there or at least buying the others some time. It was the oddest thing, the people that they most udderly despised they were now trying to help. There was no denying that everyone, no matter how arrogant and self righteous they were wanted to see what the Six together could do. It was the only reason they were all searching for each other in the first place, the reason they were all brought together. It was something greater than themselves and Cameron for one wanted to make sure he was there to see it. Although a little confused Cameron thought he could probably pull it off. He noted to Haleigh. ::
"Ok, I am gonna give it a go. Wish me luck...hopefully we can overload the Defense System. Even if the women dont show up, if we manage to escape, we don't want to get blasted with a bunch of ammunition."
:: Cameron zoomed in on the Generator Box, knowing that he would have to destroy this first. It wouldn't be too hard, just as long as it was deactivated so that it wouldn't turn on when he blasted the circuit breakers, with a clean snap in his mind, the Generator had been deactivated, not making any kind of sound. He turned his attention to the Circuit Breaker box, it was actually really big. Though he couldn't necessarily see inside of it, he had pictured it in his head, thanks to the imagery that Haleigh had supplied. He could sense that there were a lot of circuit breakers, so he might have to pace himself to get them to rip out. He grabbed hold of three of the Circuit Breakers and he yanked with his mind as sparks began to fly out of the Circuit Breaker box and the lights within the Control Room began to phase in and out. Prophet continued to pull at the wires with his mind, yanking them and yanking them, until before long, the entire Circuit Breaker Box began to overload and a fiery type of explosion errupted. Though he knew the Demon Mage was probably onto their plan, it would most certainly have stopped the Defense Systems from going off at the arrival of the girls. He turned to Haleigh and smiled before whispering once more as the entire Control Room went black. ::
"Ok, we have gotten at least a distraction.. let's hope the mage thinks it is one of the women. Either way, we bought them some time, especially with the generator not working... Since we can't move, we just kind of have to sit and wait..."
:: In the distance, Prophet could hear footsteps, although they were extremely faint, he could tell that someone was coming. Whatever it was had set off his pyshic awareness and he hoped that it was a good thing. Could it be Spellbinder, Foxfire, Shockwave and Alison? ::
