Ok, I know at least one of us has been awaiting this movie for quite some time *cough*Mia*cough* ;) What does everyone else think? I think it will definately be pretty good! The trailer looks awesome... who knows perhaps it will start a werewolf craze just like there has been a thing with vampires going on for awhile now :)

I read about this movie probably a year or so ago when the director had to stop filming for something (I don't remember). But even by then it sounded really good, I'm such a horror whore! And when I saw this trailer I thought it was definitely intriguing to me, I plan on going to see it with my fiance, we both adore horror movies. I think it'll be released next month, so I look forward to it. :cool:

OMG!!! FINALLY IT'S COMING OUT!!!!

I'm so excited. My roommate and I have been waiting for this movie for about a year now. Only Wes Craven could get away with scrapping an entire movie (after it was finished) and starting over from scratch. The only thing I wish they'd kept was Corey Feldman but I think that's just my leftover crush from Lost Boys and The Goonies. I am SO EXCITED. I think I already said that though.

As for bringing on a werewolf craze, I think that would be awesome. I love werewolf mythology almost as much as I love vampire mythology. I hope this movie will be up there with The Howling and Ginger Snaps. Of course its Wes so I'm not very worried b/c he is the man.

okay NOW im on board for this movie. i just saw commercial spots for it. not only is Christina Ricci in it...but it also has Mya and a few others that appealed to me...AND its helmed by WES CRAVEN!!! :D

Jess and I went to see this on Tuesday and it started off great. Very dark and suspenseful, lol, I jumped a couple of times. :nod: :hi: And the casting was good although Christina didn't do such a wonderful acting job. The end was odd and at times dumb but for the most part it wasn't too bad. Just for the middle to end was a disappoint to me. Jess and I were both able to pick who the werewolf was and how the first chick was gonna be killed with how she was going crazy about being saved. Horror movies still use the same rules, but what shocked me was the movie hardly contained gore or guts. Wes Craven is known for his usage of graphic violence but it seemed in this movie it wasn't there.

I completely agree with Heather, anyone could see the plot of this movie from a mile away lol.. but I actually really liked it and I am always a fan of the 2nd killings scene because it is ALWAYS the best in Horror Movies ;)

In I Know What You Did Last Summer? Helen aka Sarah Michelle Gellar was the 2nd of the group of 4 to be killed and had the best murder scene with the running and hiding and glass breaking and tires and what not lol..

Anyway back to my point, the 2nd Killing Scene with Mya was really scary and I loved how they shot it and you actually feel bad for her until you frieken see her try to open the elevator doors... Dumb ASS!

It was a decent movie. It had Joss's morbid sense of humor which I adore and I love Christina Ricci. Plus all the beautiful boys in it. The plot was predictable but it was a horror movie. I didn't really expect it to be very intruiging. I was a little dissapointed with the lack of gore. I mean that's a big reason why I got see Wes's movies. He's funny and gorey. I just don't think he should have kept it pg-13. Since when does he do PG-13? Oh, well it was still decent. But I kind of wanted them to stay werewolves at the end. There was no "trick" ending where the bad guy slithers off or whatever. I love those.
