<< As Karen healed everyone's physical wounds, Morgan leered at Jasmine while her mother spoke. But then Karen asked Morgan and Blaze to come with her. She suspected what might be coming but she didnt speak in front of the rest of the team. The trio left, Leaving the rest to decide what they would do. It was late and they still had time to eat, sleep or whatever they wished. But for some [alexis and delilah] the memories of their bitter battle were starting to return...and Karen's adviceto address those hidden feelings of resentment lingered in the air.>>

<< up on the mean deck and far away from prying eyes and minds....Morgan was now standing under the open night air...the windy fresh ocean breeze and mild waves appealed to Morgan and allowed her to remain calm in a situation that she never thought she'd face. FINALLY contronting her sister Blaze who died by hand during Inferno.>>

<< having her mom there was the BEST thing for her at this most awkward and uncertain moment. as Morgan FINALLY allowed herself to look directly at Blaze...fixing her icy violet eyes on the mutant. she brushed her blonde locks away as the wind swept her hair up slightly>>

<< in an icy voice>>: Blaze....is it really you?

[ Delilah had a massive headache. She could still feel the pain in her cheek where Alexis had cut her. And that was not the only pain she was feeling: images and impressions from her battle with Alexis were slowing returning to her. She flexed her arms, stiff from being motionless for so long. She looked at the others left in the room. As her gaze fell on Alexis, her eyes narrowed. ]

"I'll be in my cabin if anyone needs me."

[ Brushing past Shockwave, she made her way towards to the door. ]

::Guardian's voice could be heard clearly::

Delilah...wait.

::Alison walked up to her friend.::

I know Karen healed you all, but are you SURE you're okay?

::the normally old and stoic Seer showed genuine concern. She had great respect for Delilah as a woman and cared for her as a friend::

you dont have to just leave because of what happened. We were all affected or bewitched. perhaps we SHOULD talk about this.

:: looking at Alexis::

ALL of us.

"I don't think there's anything left to say."

[ She was logical, methodical, rational. But she wasn't going to just pretend nothing had happened. ]

Delilah, don't stone wall me. I'm your friend, so are Morgan, Karen and Blaze....who happens to be among us...for the moment.

What happened tonight...the STORM that raged outside could be the perfect metaphor. I lost myself in fear and doubt while in my cabin...the seige perilous brought forth somethings about ME that I wasnt prepared to see and for once, i COULDNT handle it. That's why i lost myself during this whole event.

But you, morgan, alexis and jasmine were exposed to a chemical agent from MysTech...one of there most DARING moves yet. You're apart of this team...a VITAL part and whatever problem there is between you and Alexis, we MUST work it out. You've always been the calm, collective individual. You think fast on your feet and you're able to appeal to the logic and reasoning of others. Don't let the strange events of this evening change that about you or drive you way from the team.

:: Alison looked upon Delilah. she knew she was tired but more than anything else, she just wanted to make sure that D would be allright and realize that she still had trusted friends here and that her presence was necessary. Delilah had always been one of the most consistent individuals that Alison knew...but UNLIKE Alison, Delilah had a warmth, a humanity about her. People DO change , alison was well aware of that but she also knew that tonights events were unlike any other. the team was violated in a subtle, PASSIVE way and that can sometimes leave a more lasting effect than the outright attacks::

:: Lifting her hand up to her throbbing forehead, Alexis wasn't sure as to what had happened. Closing her eyes tightly, suddenly images of the battle between Delilah and herself flooded into her head. How she teased Blaze and taunted Delilah. Pressing her lips together, Alexis always hated Morningstar...for whatever reasons. But for the good of the team she would keep her mouth shut and deal with the woman. But as everything became more clear to the meta human, she realized how raw she had become...how cruel she was. Like Adam. ::

:: Opening her eyes, Alexis' face stayed emotionless as she glanced around to the others. Delilah and Alison were speaking about how they all had to talk about this...get it out in the open. Like everything wasn't already pretty much out in the open. Letting out a soft groan as the bruise on her cheek from Delilah's punch became more visable, Alexis lifted her hand to it and gently rubbed it. ::

:: Alexis didn't have anything to say. She wasn't about to apologize to the woman, or show any remorse. She didn't have control over what she did; it was just a play on her already brewing emotions. Crossing her arms along her chest, Alexis stepped forward and proceeded slowly over to the railing overlooking the ocean. Allowing her hands to grip the cool metal, she simply stood there quietly. ::

** The yacht hummed with power and prestige which supplied a small volume of sound in the entertainment room for the group. Even Blaze Fielding found the silent eerie and unnatural to her keen ears. Blinking her long luscious lashes, she folded her hands behind her back politely as Doctor Victoria addressed her. She saw the strong resemblance Morgan carried of her mother, a factor the mutant had not noticed in a while. She did feel rather uncomfortable with everyone around, usually Blaze enjoyed the company of others. Not only did Alexis strike a cord in her heart but part of her felt broken due to the emotional strain of tonight's events and altercations. She was slightly intimidated to lock eyes with Doctor Victoria for fear of seeming weak. **

** She remembered well how dejected she felt around Doctor Victoria. A feeling that would always follow Blaze, even in her spirit form. She highly respected Morgan's mother, but she felt unworthy around her. She was the one woman Blaze wanted to please - an unusual characteristic for Blaze. But her eyes would lock eyes, like a deer caught in head lights. In that small glance she felt that warmth and motherly instinct from Karen. Karen was practically royalty in Blaze's eyes, someone who was pristine and elegant....everything Blaze was not. Fox was street savvy, passionate, and upfront and at times rude, not the typical "lady like" behavior exampled by Morgan, Alison, and Karen. **

** Even Karen's voice was gentle and carefully chosen. She was speechless after the doctor finished. Her lips pushed to speak but no air sounded. Blaze's lip began to quiver as she fought the emotion to sob. She never had a real mother, her actual mother died in child birth. So Blaze never had a feminine figure in her life, but as Karen reached out to her she felt her walls melting like wax. Placing a hand to her mouth, Blaze's small body shook with emotion. She attempted to struggle but Karen's words had broken through that ringlet of fire burning in her soul. Hiding her quivering lips seemed to work but those clear hot tears could not. Several of them washing and staining Blaze's tanned complexion. Clearing her throat to speak she laughed nervously trying to push away what her body naturally did. **

"T..that means a lot to me Doctor Victoria. For once in my life I feel as though..." She paused to bite harder on her lip with more tears flooding her eyes. "I'm sorry I'm a little emotional." Her thumb and index finger catching a new batch of tears only to continue on. "For once in my life I feel as though I have a mother. My Mom died when I was an infant...I never met her. But here you are offering me a mother's love and that's more to me than anything!" Blaze felt embarrassed being around the time as she was beginning to lose it, but each of them had witnessed her cry. But not like this ....it was almost hysterical. It was as though it was purifying Blaze's soul or healing old wounds. Sniffling she wrapped both arms around herself to steady her petite body. "I feel as though you could be my second mother - especially now."

That last sentence Blaze choked on her words and almost could not speak it. She was grateful that Karen suggested they retire to a private room or deck to speak. Straightening up her appearance she felt like a mess around her former teammates. And what made it worse was Jasmine being there too, she would no doubt harass Blaze later on.

Turning at the waist, Blaze's heals clicked quietly on the floor but her pace was hurried. Like she was ashamed to be around the others because of the scene she made. Her eyes adjusting to the new lighting in the upper main deck now. A cool breeze whirled her hazelnut locks around mildly. It did ease her mind and soul to discover the trio was surrounded by the beautiful - mysterious ocean. Their crashing waves consoled her emotions long enough to overhear Morgan's question.

It was now or never to address and confront Morgan. Stepping closer to Morgan to lean on her arm by the metallic railing. The soft moonlight laminating on her irises which sparkled with fresh tears. Calming herself Blaze pondered what to say to Morgan. Here she was alone with just her sister and Karen. But for some reason Blaze felt any string of courage disappear. The mutant felt naked, vulnerable, and weak before these two powerful women.

Bowing her head in shame she sniffled only to nod to Morgan's question. "I'm here and it is me, Blaze." Her words shook and they sounded almost hoarse at first. She didn't dare to gaze into Morgan's eyes - she couldn't break down now. "I...." She cursed in her mind for having such difficulty to speak. "Its me Morg..." She looked up at Morgan as two tears slipped from her eyes. This would surely be an emotional night for these two siblings and the rest of the team.

Cold and calculating eyes blinked before a crease formed on Jasmine Klein. Her eyes narrowing with suspicion as the effects were repaying in her mind. Flashbacks of herself and Morgan battling and Alexis and Delilah battling seemed to form and register. Looking down at her palm only to gasp. Any sign of injury was healed but how? Her eyes sliding onto Karen who by now was addressing Alison, Blaze, and Morgan.

Stretching her limber arms she focused her attention in on Blaze. A cruel smile washing along her lips but she carefully hide that by biting on her lower lip. God, she's so emotional! They coddle her like that when she's dead. She thought bitterly only to roll her eyes as Blaze broke down emotionally. A hint of jealousy cut into that thick sheet of ice as Karen confronted Blaze. Jasmine saw emotions as weak and pathetic, something only those faint of heart did.

Brushing off the dust from her clothing she observed Blaze, Karen, and Morgan as they left the saloon. Curiosity had peaked in her icy soul but for some reason she decided against it. She quietly slipped past the entertainment room only to return to her room. Shutting and locking the door she strolled over to her bed, she knelt down to pull out a metallic suitcase. Opening it she gleamed at the red numbers counting down. "And here I thought tonight would be dull..." The bomb clicked as each second passed. Cold fingers moved to caress the black and red wiring which was layered around the device. This was not some simple bomb that required wires cut, it was something much more. Closing the suitcase and placing it under the bed. Jasmine stood up as a small parasite moved along under her skin. Her eyes flashing to a midnight tint. Walking over to the closet she grabbed a few more items. Pulling out a black caviler vest before tossing off her shirt. Placing it over her pale upper torso. It too was another bomb which was tickling down slowly. Reaching up for a black button down shirt she buttoned it up leaving the collar flipped out. Her smile growing with gleam.

"Blaze's death has been hard on us ALL... Morgan needs to see that we are HERE for her... all of us are here for EACH OTHER. Anyone who ISNT... well... they will be dealt with." Haleigh's firm, quiet voice seemed to echo around the silent cabin. "Somehow... we have to help Morgan realize that it is not a show of weakness to be in pain... but rather a measure of STRENGTH to be able to allow her FRIENDS help her deal with that pain. We are NEVER going to be able to move on from Blaze's death if we all keep our grief locked up behind closed doors. She DIED. We ALL feel responsible for it, and some of us are more guilty than others.... we are ALL ashamed of ourselves for it... but there's nothing more we can do at this point. If we dont ALL get it out on the table... we'll never truly be able to let go of the whole ordeal."

Haleigh turned to blaze, allowing the subject to change, nodding in aggreement.

"Well... I hadn't actually LOOKED at Jasmine yet... but yes, her vitals are normal... perhaps you're right... perhaps she's just ALWAYS an ASS, and it's nothing to do with the Cell."

Haleigh says lightly, nonchalant. She falls silent for a while, seemingly oblivious to everything other than her PC... after a few minutes, she ejects a tube from her laptop with a triumphant smile. She mixes the serum with a vial of sterile water and loads four new syringes with the mixture, handing two to Zach.

"See... the thing with chemical warfare... it can always be counteracted... its just a matter of knowing what you're doing."

She and Zach inject each of the women with the contents of a syringe and then Haleigh nods in assurance to Karen.

"They'll feel effects much akin to a hangover... but this will flush their systems quickly... they'll feel much better in an hour or so."

Haleigh let the group disperse, standing a couple barstools back upright as Zach approached her from behind and wrapped his arms around her pulling her into him, suggesting they go unwind. Haleigh smiled, and seemed to take to the idea... until she leaned down to shut down her PC and got wind of the alert that had just shown up on the screen. Her eyes darkened and a Browning pumpaction shotgun appeared in her hand.

"I have something to take care of first..."

Zach:"Come on... don't kill her."

"WHY the hell NOT?? are you seeing this shit?! give me ONE GOOD reason!"

Zach: "I'm sure you'll find some use for her later."

Haleigh eyed him momentarily, and then let him take the firearm from her hands. She took a deep breath and left the saloon for Jasmine's cabin. She let herself in as Jasmine was finishing buttoning her shirt. Haleigh closed and locked the door behind her, shutting herself and Jasmine in the cabin together before turning to Frost, folding her arms across her chest.

"You and I need to talk."

<< Morgan bit her lower lip...as she glared at Blaze....it was as though she were being confronted with her ultimate shame and there was no escape. Karen stood nearby...watching silently with her arms folded and her cape flowing in the wind. she wanted to be there for her daughter...but she knew THESE few moments had to be endured by Morgan alone>>

Blaze.....

<<< Morgan reached out for her sister's face...touching it and wiping away the tear>>

dont cry.

<< her voice seemed weaker than usual>>

Long clear fingernails danced along up the black button down shirt after covering up the bomb strapped to her body. That small thick parasite would push itself further into Jasmine's blood stream, effecting her personality, emotions, and manipulating to its own desired affects. Her wintery eyes fell to the door as she finished dressing. That door would open to reveal Haleigh. A perked brow rose with curiosity, she made sure not to draw attention to herself or the host she stole. "Come in." She said coldly, remembering she locked that door when she entered. Tilting her head to the side, her eyes narrowed - listening to the door knob quietly locking. What was Black Widow up to.

"What is it Haleigh?"

She questioned, her own back to the wall, away from Haleigh's observant eyes. What made this situation dangerous was the parasite and its lasting affects on Jasmine plus the various bombs planted on the yacht. It (the parasite) was capable of stealing memories the host carried. Walking around the room casually, Jasmine never took her eyes off the blonde. "Have a seat my dear.." She motioned for one of the small arm chairs next to the bed. "What else could you have to say to me? Only than how much you detest every trace of me!" She spat bitterly with her eyes shimmering in the low lighting. "Enlighten me Hals - especially since you did barge in my room which I might add is very rude." Making her way over to her bed she sat down with one leg over the other. Opening up one of the small nightstand drawers pulling out a small pistil only to insert the clip inside. Jasmine on the other hand was a victim and paralyzed by this parasite. She would be unable to struggle and thus a slave to its affects. Laying the gun in her lap with her arms stretched behind her as she was propped up. "Can't be too careful to trust around here." Licking her lips, her eyes crawled back onto Haleigh.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A small gasp escaped Blaze whose features lit up as Morgan's wintery elegance surrounded her. Her sister's hand softly cupping her heart shaped face to wipe away a tear. Looking up Blaze leaned into Morgan's touch. She yearned to give Morgan a hug but she was fearful if she could. With Morgan easily towering over Blaze she had to stretch her small black heels to reach Morgan to silence her gently. "Shhhh." Her fingertips placed on Morgan's full lips, "it is NOT your fault Morgan." Stepping closer, Blaze leaned in to wrap her arms loosely around Morgan's double highlighted locks for a hug. Embracing her in a warm sisterly hug that was actually felt from both siblings. For a moment, Blaze was quiet to enjoy the closeness they shared. To pretend she was alive and not a spirit sent here to help the team.

Pulling away, Blaze backed up a step to give Morgan some space. But she did tenderly reach out to take Morgan's hands in her own. "Morgan please....I....I never blamed you EVER. The only person whose fault it was is mine, not you and not this team. Please don't blame yourself and I don't have to forgive you because I never believed in my heart it was anyone's fault. You did one hell of a job introducing me to this world and protecting me. Now, I know what you'll say next so please - let me finish." She massaged her thumb along the back of Morgan's hand. "I died saving Alexis....because I love her Morgan.....even as much as she doesn't deserve it after her antics tonight but I do. I couldn't let her die - I saw something good in her and pure despite all of her problems and struggles. She will never love me and I accept that but everyone has the right to usually choose their death and I died saving someone I loved. Alexis probably doesn't know that and I won't tell her, so this will be between the three of us." Her eyes sliding back to Karen for a lingering second.

"Morgan, I still love you like my sister and I do not begrudge you in anyway. All I offer you is my love, support, and guidance. I would like to move on from the past BUT I know you feel guilty so if it brings that light and happiness to my sister then I say your forgiven." Her eyes sparkling with tears but they did not leak this time. Releasing her hand her hand moved to lift Morgan's chin up to lock eyes. "I love you Morgan - you were my only family around and you offered me the world. You brought me out of Section One, you saved me in Valiant, and you saved me in the Six. I just want you to stop blaming yourself and realize I'm STILL here with you. I'll always be here." She motioned to Morgan's heart with a smirk, hoping not to smother her sister with overloaded emotion. "I never felt accepted until you came into my life - you taught me to value my individualism. You taught me many life lessons and now its my turn to teach you. Life has many unexpected turns and twists and you cannot always prepare for them. You just have to deal - but you'll always have family and friends to support you even when you may not realize it. I will always be there for you Morgan.....always. Not even death can separate me from you." Her hand moved away to peer into Morgan's eyes. "I don't like seeing my sister upset like this, show me some attitude woman!" She grinned hoping to gain a small smile from Morgan.

It would be Blaze's time to go soon....she knew it. Her business would soon be finished which meant she could finally rest, but could she leave her family and friends behind?

:: Alison watched Alexis. The woman seemed to have reverted to type..becoming stand offish and anti social as she was all those months ago when they first met. The Seer could easily probe past time threads to try to figure out WHY she had such a problem with Delilah but the answer was so simple....there was no real reason it was just a matter of Alexis' personality clashing with Delilah's.::

:: Alison rubbed her hands over her face and exhaled with annoyance before finally returning to her own normal state....that which made her appear to be less than feeling.::

Delilah, we both know that you are meant to be here. You were not with us during our first few capers and you missed out on some of the painfull emotional fall out of those capers. Consider this...(unfortunate as it is) to be your initiation. Alexis get some rest...we're all going to need it as things begin to conclude.

We shall pay MysTech back...with interest, but for now let us prepare to return to the main land....this isnt over....not yet.

:: she gently touched Delilah's shoulder, before walking away, disappearing into the night shadows around the yacht. She was SORELY disappointed in Alexis, but she was also dealing with HERSELF as well. the Seiger Perilous remained on the gucci leather cuff around her wrist...but now, she ignored it as she returned to her luxury cabin...noting her provocative outfit before snapping her fingers to make it disappear. the doors shut and lock as she prepares to lay down. passing by a mirror she turns and looks at her own cold, unforgiving expression.::

in all times and spaces...we are destined to go through tests and trials. we get a little better with each one we face and pass....but it is nearly midnight....one of the darkest moments in our lives is about to be upon us. I wonder if we have LEARNED enough ....in time.

:: she speaks softly as she waves her hand and the lights fade to black. she attempts to rest for the hours that remain in this stormy night::

She agian made her way to the door, this time after Alison. ::

:: Casting her eyes to the floor, Alexis listened to Alison's heals click past her as the seer made her way toward the exit and back to her room. Why was it so difficult to admit she was wrong and just apologize for what she had done. Her stubbornness was an atribute that made it hard for Alexis to join in "team unity" at times. But even so, she had worked passed a lot of that within the years time; but now, she seemed to be taking one step forward and two steps back. Gritting her teeth and closing her eyes, the blonde heard Delilah pass her as well, making her grip the metal railing even harder. ::

"Delilah..wa"

:: Trailing off, Alexis exhaled before gently shaking her head and rolling her eyes open. Parting her lips with her tongue, she turned toward Delilah, intaking a deep breath. This was definately harder than it seemed...and much less satisfying than just continuing to be a bitch. Stepping forward, the expression on Delilah's face was less than approving at the fact Alexis had stopped her. ::

"Look, i'm...uh, i'm sorry for..attacking you."

:: Anyone have a knife to Alexis' throat? Because that sure as hell was the hardest thing she had to say in a long time. Clearing her throat, although her apology seemed very forced, it was sincere for whatever reasons. As much as she hated to admit it, Delilah was an important part of this team. Having a rift in the group now would only cause more damage in the future....so Alexis would suck it up and subconciously insult Delilah. ;) ::

<< Morgan closed her eyes as tears streamed down her face. She hugged herself...and held her for the first time since the Inferno and all at once, the memories of their lives together since Valiant came back....soothed her soul like balm. She remembered the pleasant moments, battles fought together, lessons learned and more>>

<< she realized that even though she thought of herself as a monster, that Ororo, Karen, Alison, Delilah and BLAZE saw her for what she really was...a woman who had struggles like anyone else. granted her's may have been far beyond any normal human beings...but so were those of anyone in the Six. Morgan was no monster, she was a woman who despite the icy exterior....still had a heart and a soul.>>

<< hugging her sister and hearing those words...finally allowed her to EXHALE and let go of the guilt and grief that erroded her heart and soul.>>

<< as they ended their embrace, Morgan looked down at Blaze...and breathed out slowly>>

It's good to see you here Blaze, whole again and at peace. You don't know how much this has helped me....to know that you're allright.

::Karen stepped forward, standing beside Morgan. The woman was nearly as tall as her daughter..and her sapphire blue eyes were as striking as her daughter's icy violet eyes. She looked down upon Blaze with a soft, motherly expression...as her elegant flying suit's cape flowed in the wind behind her. she brushed her hair back out of her face as she began to speak::

This is what was needed all along. a chance for the two of you to address this issue of the Inferno. Be thankfull....not many people on this world have such an opportunity....but The Six....and your allies and family are all something unique...and our experiences are you unique as well.

::putting her arm around Morgan...she smiled at her daughter::

Morgan, you've always been willing to carry more than your share of responsibility. You will fight as hard as you play....and you were fiercly protect those who earn a place in your well guarded heart. you reached out to your sister without hesitation when you discovered her.......if only i could have followed your example....but my own ego and pride as a woman scorned prevented me from doing so. Christopher, my husband was a monster....but he helped give me Morgan...my beautiful daughter....and Blaze, although you are not my daughter....you now know that you have my support as mother figure.

We were fortunate to have these moments....as times in New York become increasingly more dangerous for mutants and metahumans.....I'm sure that soon attention will be turned to witches and magick users as well...but for now, at least we have all had a chance to work through the pain and grief that has followed us since the Inferno.

:: she smiled as Blaze encouraged Morgan to be of good cheer and better spirits. She could see much of Christopher's charisma in Blaze...it was a quality that Karen had enjoyed about Christopher many years ago...before MysTech. and although Morgan and Blaze had no resemblance to each other physically, with Morgan taking on her mother's characteristics....the BOND between the sisters finally prooved to be stronger than anything..including death. Karen was proud of Morgan...AND Blaze.::

<< Morgan put her arm around her mother as well.. and took Blaze's hand with her other arm>>

<< in an icy voice>>: after everything we've been through because of MysTech.....It's good to have my family back.

<< Morgan was so happy that her mother had finally accepted Blaze and given her some regard. it was truly a remarkable change for Karen who could be just as unforgiving as Morgan>>

But before you leave us Blaze...the rest of the group needs to see you too....Alison, Haleigh, Delilah....even Alexis. The Six are a family too....we've been pulling together more and more ever since the caper with Helena Quatermain, Alexis' evil aunt who was partnered with Christopher and Adam in Mystech. I think we all began to take heed to Ororo's warning after your death. Step by step...bit by bit.

<< morgan paused as she too brushed some of her hair out of her face. the winds continued to move steadily but the breeze wasnt harsh..it was refreshing as the waves rolled on the ocean.>>

For the first time...in months..i feel like MYSELF again...and not a moment too soon. Alison has forseen the death of either Sharon OR Alycia...and the loss of another member of The Six during our battle with Master Mold....the super sentinel of MysTech...the most powerfull robotic entity in the world.

"It is good to spend time with you Morg, you don't know how much I wished for this moment. After my death I could only watch from outside plans of existence, I couldn't reach out to you. Until finally the Elders allowed me to come back here - to confront you and assist the team anyway I could. My first assignment was Jasmine, but for once I was selfish and put you first - after all I consider you my real blood sister then her....I know that's probably horrible to speak but its how I feel."

With Karen there, Blaze was the shortest of the trio standing at all of 5'7. The brunette looked like a midget compared to the other two beauties. But Blaze never considered her "short" in the least, more so average than anything. The thick clouds outside were more ease with a bright luminescent moon peaking behind them, a brilliant breathtaking sight to behold. The wind at times was slightly chilly sending goosebumps along Blaze's body but other than that she enjoyed the serenity of it all, united with her sister and her second mother.

As Karen addressed her daughter, Blaze smiled fully to hear Morgan was truly happy, a powerful emotion she lacked since Blaze's awful death. She gently gave her sibling's hand a firm yet gentle squeeze for motivation. It seemed even Blaze felt alive, that fiery spirit returning to those sage green eyes. The Mutant's body tightened at the mention of Alexis' name, Blaze did not want to address the Metahuman anymore, if fact she yearned to cut her ties with Shockwave all together. "The others I will but I'm unsure of Alexis.....she'll only mock the emotions I posses and I'm not sure if I'm strong enough to confront her after she embarrassed me in front of the others." But even as stubborn as Blaze was, she couldn't say good - bye like that, even to Alexis.

Her expression turned stern at the mention of Alison's prediction. Blaze was quick to give her own guidance. "You all have come so far as a team like you said Morgan, you cannot afford to lose another teammate. You'll overcome any obstacle as a group - I have enough faith in each of you. But I have a question Morgan - one that deals with your connection to Limbo. There are rumors from above that its possible I can become human once more...but I have my doubts. I know the power the Soul sword posses - so I hardly feel the rumor is true....I guess I yearn to switch places with Jasmine. She's not right for the team but then again....most of us thought that about each other in the beginning. I'm having doubts if Jasmine can be trusted - she's not what I was meant to believe. But, I suppose we should return to the lower decks before the others make a search partner."

<< Morgan and Karen looked at Blaze with surprise..taken aback by the question>>

.....restoration from the Soul Sword? the most powerfull, darkest portion of my soul and magicks focused into a deadly killing talisman....when this blade was created it was to help me destroy the dire wraiths...everyone from Ororo and Belasco on down to Alison knows that there has never been a case where I or any other mage could "bring back" someone who was killed by the blade.

<< Morgan was shocked...and almost insulted that her mystical heritage..her birthright of Limbo and Soul Sword were the topic of outsiders in other realms....who had no idea what the "Otherplace" (Limbo) was all about. But she couldnt fault Blaze for wanting her life back...Morgan wished there was something she COULD do, but at the moment, there was no time to even attempt to find a way.>>

Blaze, you should not place much stock in the ramblings of outsiders...people who have little or no understanding of Limbo or me. Believe me, if there was or IS still a way to restore you...some of the darkest books of spells, enchantments and other mystical artifacts known to man are housed within Limbo. Between myself, Ororo, Alison and the library of the Summit....there may be a way but right now there is no time. Mom and I are going to head back to our cabins to get some rest, if you want to stay with me, you can.

<< Motioning for Blaze, Morgan and Karen were making their way to Morgan's luxury cabin...her mind was still STUNNED by Blaze's question. it was not what she expected. when the current threat that loomed over the team passed, there would be time to explore the idea. but not before a significant event changed all of their lives once more....>>

"You KNOW what."

"HEY! Don't you sass ME, princess. I don't detest you.... I'm just gravely disappointed in you." said Haleigh, a calm yet firm tone to her voice. Her eyes projected an internal fire that matched, perhaps even surpassed Jasmine's 'frost'.

"This is MY ship... and I'll BARGE in wherever I damn well please and if you dont like it, well that's just TOO DAMN BAD."

Haleigh started towards Jasmine with shocking speed, grabbing the armchair and tearing it from its place, slinging it across the floor, where it slid to a stop against the wall, overturned. Haleigh acted with vehemence that grated against her still nature, tapping into a layer of anger that Jasmine had yet to see. She was upon Jasmine before she could even blink, before the chair had even stopped moving. An arm placed on either side of Jasmine, locking her in place, their faces inches apart, Haleigh had suddenly taking a very threatening position, and despite the fact that she'd yet to actually hit Jasmine, Frost was likely to feel as if that was what was coming next. She gave the distinct impression of a Grizzly Bear towering over a human, deciding whether or not to maul it violently.

"Oh no, might you SHOOT me? Have you lost your MIND?" said she, with an incredulous tone, as if Frost was stark raving mad. Haleigh grabbed the barrel of the handgun and aimed it at the soft hollow between her own collarbones. "WELL?? Get on with it! Pull the trigger!" Haleigh never moved, never blinked. After a brief silence, the metal case slid out from under the bed.

"You're one to talk about trust. You have some EXPLAINING to do.... QUICKLY."

** A small ounce of disappointment loafed in Blaze's eyes, which stared up at her older sister. A slow nod was given to acknowledge her understanding of Morgan's reply. "I'm sorry...that was inappropriate of me for asking - I just feel helpless here in this corporeal form. Sometimes I become intangible at will but I cannot harness that power yet. I wish I could help this team." Creeping away from the ocean's breeze, her hazelnut hair whipped around more fiercely. She turned to Karen with a graceful nod. **

"Thank you for mediating between myself and Morgan, you helped both of us tonight and I will not forget that."

** It was a heartfelt thank you from the mutant, but she wanted the doctor to know how she felt. A brilliant smile broke out over Blaze's lips at Morgan's question. "I would love to stay with you. We could catch up more - if your not exhausted." Blaze had plenty of topics to discuss with her sibling, after following them off the main deck. Disappearing down the stairwell into the darkness. Even if they did not catch up, Blaze was content to be around her sister, especially now that Morgan registered her being physically there - well as much as she could be. For once in a long time, Blaze felt at ease, which was probably a stark contrast to how Morgan felt with the impending doom which would be across the horizon. However, now with Morgan being herself the team would be unified with power beyond imagination, something they lacked since Blaze's death. **

(I'll just write a completely different post for Jasmine. )

** "Jasmine" could only tilt her head to the side with curiousity at Haleigh's outburst toward the mutant. Shifting in her position she hardly blinked from Hal's aggressive behavior directed at her. "Are you finished?" She asked casually, with a perked brow. **

"And you just ruined a perfectly good piece of furniture."

** Her eyes dropped down to Haleigh's hands who snatched the gun away to turn it on herself. A stoic expression written across her wintery face. The parasite was growing impatient with Haleigh, especially now with this new delay. **

"Its either that time of the month for you or your insanely suicidal."

** Her remark cold and emotionless as she leaned closed to Haleigh. Moving to her ear with the gun pressing into Haleigh's collar bone. "This gun - it wasn't for you but for Jasmine!" Before the blonde could react, a pair of powerful legs wrapped around Black Widow's waist as she squeezed tightly with an amused look on her lips. "You know - I bet Blaze would be jealous right now." She winked only to slam her forehead into Haleigh's skull with a sickening smack. **

Rolling her shoulder off Haleigh as she moved like lightning past her. Her reflexes beyond any normal human's or even Jasmine's. Scooping up the suitcase, "Jasmine" shook her head. "Humans are so easy to manipulate, especially now that all of you were meant to believe Jasmine was a traitor."

** Reaching into her back pocket, she pulled out a small hand held device about the size of a remote - the detanator. "Jasmine and I are going out with a bang and if you interfere guess what....we go BANG!" She yelled as she yanked her shirt open to reveal a bomb strapped to Jasmine's pale body around her bra. "You always had a habit of killing your teammates - let's wager you'll lose this one too!"

** Scooping up the gun that fell, she pointed it at Haleigh with caution. "And if you manage to disarm these bombs then Jasmine will be dead with a gunshot to the head!" Her smile gleamed, "this battle you cannot win!"

:: Lowering her brows, Alexis instantly became defensive at Delilah's responds. ::

"Look, you weren't exactly acting like Marry Poppins eith--"

:: Cutting herself off, Alexis rolled her eyes closed and exhaled a low breath. Opening her eyes, she kept them cast to the yacht's deck, pausing for a moment before speaking. ::

"Sorry....look, Delilah--"

:: Biting the corner of her lip, Alexis stopped again, realizing that perhaps people hadn't thought she changed as much as she did. A year ago Alexis would of easily jumped at the chance to have a showdown with Delilah for the pure fact she enjoyed screwing with people. But now, she was past that. ::

"I would never intentinally attack you...physically or verbally unless I wasn't myself."

:: Lifting her eyes, Alexis glanced out onto the horizon as she gently shook her head. ::

"But obviously.....everyone thinks otherwise."

:: Turning, Alexis proceeded to walk through the mess hall toward the other exit leading to her cabin. For some reason it turned Alexis' stomach that people thought so little of her, even now. Usually she'd brush it off and not let it get to her, but now, she couldn't not let it get to her. ::

** After following Karen and Morgan to the personal corridors, she stopped in the hallway to notice Delilah and Alexis having a conversation - if you wanted to call it that. Intrigued by this, Blaze paused to study both women carefully especially Del. The Mutant wondered how the cop felt, was she okay? Probably not, Blaze knew Del somewhat well maybe not as best as Morgan or Alison, but enough to understand the blonde kept her emotions locked inside. Her eyes expressing concern for her friend, even if the altercation with Alexis had ended. **

"Hey Morg - I'll meet up with you soon."

** She replied to her sister, only to slip past both Morgan and her mother. Walking along the corridor Blaze's shadow danced along the hallway of the ship as she passed Alexis. Shutting her eyes, Blaze bit her bottom lip at the blonde's intoxicating perfume. She stopped for a second, glancing over her shoulder but not out right looking Alexis in the eyes. **

"Although I can't speak for Del, that was an honorable thing Alexis - apologizing I mean. You've come along way."

** Passing the blonde, Blaze didn't bother to stay and chat for obvious reasons. Even Alexis would feel a chill directed at her from the fiery mutant - which was uncharacteristic of her, but who could blame her? **

"Del, wait up."

** She called gently to the police officer/bodyguard. Finally catching up with her friend, she gave a small smile. **

"How's it going Rocky? I was wondering if you wanted to catch up over a drink? I think we both could use one unless you want some privacy?"

** She asked, this would be the first time Blaze would interact with Delilah since their time in Valiant. But she would also accept the fact that perhaps Morningstar wanted rest or some alone time. Fox patiently waited a reply from her friend. **

You really need a time out missy.

:: just as Frost stood her ground and fronted Haleigh off with a truly deadly scenario, she found herself being frozen in time AND space..as her temporal field was completely halted and she herself was encased in a thick block of ice. She would have no clue what happened as she was now rendered completely inert....the air around her was now very cold and she looked eerie in her current state. Haleigh would be able to discern that Guardian was behind this attack..."true freeze".::

:: a pair of cobalt blue eyes opened in the air::

This is really getting out of hand Haleigh. She threatens EVERYTHING this team has struggled to achieve so far. But i have something to tell you....and you must NOT attempt to alter the course of events that I will reveal to you.

:: Guardian BLINKS into full view. noticably still wearing the eye popping outfit she wore in the saloon during the storm. maybe some of the changes she went through with her seige perilou scare were more than skin deep?::

I now know who is going to die, and which member of the team we will lose when we return to the New York.....but with every loss there is some gain...no matter how small or improbable.

:: waving her hand...a sparkling myst forms....a bell tolls a cosmic , crystaline chess board manifests. and as a sparkling trail travels across the board crystaline figures manifest...all the members of the Six, Frost, Ororo, Karen, Sharon and Alycia are now on the board. Each figure is styled in a trademark pose associated with that person. it is a beautiful display and much like the like the time staff that Alison manifested during Inferno, it was reminder to Haleigh just how much she DIDNT know about the Precog's powers.::

just watch the board haleigh.

:: Haleigh heard the sound of a ticking clock in the air...as the pieces stood for a moment.::

:: the clock strikes MIDNIGHT after a few moments...a haunting bell tolling and startling Haleigh as two figures SHATTER..... for Haleigh...finally knowing who they were going to lose....it had to be very hard for her to take. Alison had never been wrong before about her foresight::

But there's something else......

::a flicking RED swirl of light forms on a spot on the chess board close by Ororo's figure. It is that of BLAZE.::

All i can "see" is an "exchange". We will lose one, and another one will return to us.

:: Alison folded her arms as she looked at Haleigh and waited for the woman to respond. keeping this startling information from the rest of the group might seem hurtfull to some but of them all, Haleigh could be just as analytical as Alison and would be best able to handle this information BEFORE hand.::

You see, Frost is not the issue...not anymore.

:: would Alison release Frost from stasis?::

Her petite body still and calm with a shocked facial expression on her face. The parasite inside her body stirred only to slow and freeze in her middle back. Her eyes dulling in contrast as the room was quiet except for Guardian's voice calling out to Haleigh. **

"Great, let's head back to your cabin. Its quiet there."

** She turned the corner leading Delilah to her own personal cabin. Walking inside, Blaze found a small mini bar in Delilah's cabin. It was filled with beer, whine, and liquor. Back in her day, Blaze was a bartender so this was simple for her. **

"I wanted to thank you for...standing up for me with Alexis. I know you had enough of her antics but it meant a lot to me."

** Her hands manuevered behind the mini bar making her own cosmo but she wasn't entirely sure what Delilah yearned for. "I know how you are D, your very laid back but she had it coming despite the chemical warfare. What would you like to drink?"

** She peeked up from behind the small bar. Fox was oblivious to the events with Frost, Haleigh, and Alison. Which was rare but why? Was there something the Elders had not instructed the mutant? Only fate would decide. **

"It happens to the best of us Del, even you. Your a woman by the book, this sort of conflict usually doesn't come your way. You arrest the criminal, go to court, that sort of thing. I think because Alexis is on this team it complicates matters. You yearn to tear her head off but she's your teammate."

** Walking out from behind the bar, she sat down in a small chair next to Delilah, handing her the drink. **

"Alexis makes many enemies, trust me. She butted heads with everyone on this team before you returned. She has changed though - believe it or not. Not that I'm taking sides or anything, I just believe in trying to give a person a shot. But with her sometimes she's worn out that execuse. Morgan expects me to speak with her before I leave....but I can't Delilah. She made a fool out of me in front of this team and Jasmine - something I won't forget or even forgive."

** Sipping her drink, her mind buzzed with thoughts. Her eyes sliding onto the blonde slowly. **

"So, what have you been up to? Last time I saw you, we were in Valiant battling Black...what happened there in Europe for you? You moved back to New York?"

** It was clear, Blaze didn't want to discuss Alexis, but she didn't mind dicussing how Delilah felt, it was one exception in connection with Shockwave. **

"Well it wasn't just me - you were quite the little "fireball" if I remember correctly."

[ She took a moment to think about how to answer Blaze's question. ]

"After a while I just...I just needed to come home I think. Things there got so...like I stopped mattering. Here I can make a difference. Once Morgan helped me clear my name, of course. And obviously...after..."

"After my death, its okay Del, you can say it. It took me awhile to register death especially my own. But at least I'm here in spirit to assist the team. I will eventually have to return once this chapter comes to a close. At least that's what I was instructed. I hardly want to leave but - I'm sure I have no choice."

** She paused for a second, flashbacks of Valiant striking her like lightning. Blaze remembered it well, like it was just yesterday. Her facial expression drifted to a deep frown, obviously a memory of Black. **

"Black nearly killed me, the others were meant to believe I died but it seemed I cheated death. I remember the time when he..." She stopped shutting her eyes, "he cornered Morgan in her room and I couldn't get inside. When I got to her she seemed so out of it like a terrified animal who had been abused. I'll never forget that night or the ruthless battle with Black and Morgan. You know...I really detested that team we were hardly unified. I mean, yes, the Six have their days but these people I felt as though they would leave me for dead. Morgan and I were our own team, we stuck by the other especially with the battle of the Sentinels."

** Sitting her drink back on the small glass table, her green eyes quietly inspected Delilah. **

"I sense a strain on you D, like you need to break away from the team. Your so rock solid that at times its difficult to tell had it not been for my empathy. Something is troubling you - I know Alexis provoked some of it, but there's something deeper. I also know you only confide with a few select people - I'm one of them. Unless you feel the topic of discussion is off limits than I will respect it. I am concerned for you D."

** Compassion, warmth, and concern radiated through Blaze's eyes. She could be at times a "fireball" as Delilah labeled her but other times she was the warmest woman you could ever meet. It was understandable to see why Blaze was loved by many especially her dear friends. **

Haleigh recoiled sharply as their heads met. It was a strike she had anticipated, but the force of it surprised her.... what was more... Jasmine should've knocked herself clean out, hitting Haleigh that hard, but the girl kept moving, seemingly driven by such determination that physical limitations knew no bounds. Frost's last words disturbed Haleigh... why did she refer to herself in the third person? Haleigh closed her fingers around Frost's neck and squeezed tightly.

"No... Blaze would be humiliated at how her sister is behaving. WHO are you?" Haleigh slammed Frost's head against the floor. "You WILL tell me... or i'll KILL you!"

Haleigh released Frost without much of a fight... her sensors detected another presence... Alison. Haleigh got to her feet as Frost threatened to shoot herself if Haleigh tried disarming the bombs. Haleigh smiled.

"You say 'if' like itll be some challenge to deactivate the detonators on those things. Oh... i just did. And I THINK you're overestimating my affections for Miss Klein... but nevertheless... that gun doesn't work." Haleigh opened her hand... the firing pin from the firearm rested in her palm. Frost froze over... it was kind of clever, actually. Haleigh shifted her attention to Alison as she came into view.

"Nice to have you back to normal."

Said she, as she centered her weight, running her fingers through her hair. her eyes seemed skeptical as Alison spoke... she folded her arms across her chest, a subconsious attempt to protect her heart... something she absentmindedly did often. "Alright... go on, you have my attention." Haleigh's face fell as Alison said she knew someone amongst them was going to die. Haleigh mentally began to pick who of the group they could afford to lose... it was a shameful thing to do... but the thought of losing someone else sent her into a defensive mindset.

She watched the board with measured reticence... Alison could always surprise Haleigh with something knew... it was one of the reasons Haleigh admired Alison [even if she wasnt about to admit it]. Haleigh scanned the figures... the gravity that she was about to see a glimpse of the future-- who was going to DIE when the got back to the city... settled on Haleigh like a bolder. Was this the same dread Alison always felt?

And then, like the executioner swinging his axe for a practise swing, not one, but two figures shattered, and Haleigh inhaled sharply, her hand covering her mouth, her eyes watering. She stared at the board for a moment, and then looked at Alison.

"But... we stopped your visions before... there must be something we can do..." she pleaded.... but the look on Alison's face shattered those hopes. Haleigh founds herself sitting down on the bed slowly. WHY were they a team so plagued with losses? Haleigh's view went out of focus, as shedelved into thought about what Alison had just layed on her... she knew why Alison had just told her... and no matter how painful it was... she knew what had to be done. Haleigh rubbed her eyes and stood up, taking a deep breath and meeting the grave reality with a renewed resilence and compartmentalized grief.

"I see. Well.. if we cant stop it... we must determine how best to recover. You're right... do you know HOW Blaze can be... readmitted... to this plane of existence? And.... what do we do with this one? We'll reach port in a few hours... and frankly... I've been wishing to wash my hands of her this evening. I thought she could redeem herself... but this alternate personality of hers is uncouth." said Haleigh, a stern look taking over her face as she eyed the frozen Frost. Haleigh wanted to leave the cabin immediately, and rush to those they would lose to death... she wanted to do whatever she could to stop it... but something about ALison's finality tld Haleigh that wouldn't be possible....and she knew Alison brought this to HER attention because she needed a level head to help the whole team through the pain and loss. It would be a difficult loss for everyone... especially Haleigh.... and the second person to die...

"This will be devastating... for everyone. Fate is merciless... we lose too much when we lose each other. Alison... will we be able to recover from so profound a loss??"

Frost's words rang through her head. Haleigh DID lose her teammates quite frequently... Haleigh didnt know if she'd be able to recover from this... how could she protect the people she loved? Everyone around her suffered... was it her involvement that doomed the group?

Remorse was something she hadn't felt in a long time...it seemed almost foreign. But what Alexis feared the most had been brewing within her for years, and tonight seemed to bring it alive. She feared that she was turning into Helena; the one person she NEVER wanted to be like. The viciousness, the vindictivness, the complete and utter heartlessness of her actions were an exact match to how Helena lived her life day in and day out. Was she meant to follow in her aunts footsteps? Was the six just her way of getting to her true destiny? Panting in and out, Alexis' eyes filled with tears as she felt herself loosing control. I assume you wont be telling them, or the rest of the group, that they're about to die.... its probably for the best... if there really is nothing we can do, if its their TIME to go... i would have to say it would be paralyzing to know you are about to die, really depressing. I think...if there's nothing else you need to tell me... I would like to be alone... to absorb this... come to terms with it... so that I will be prepared to act soundly when it... happens. I'll need as cool a head as I can manage."

BUT it was a sign of just how much they had all changed. Alison had a moment of extreme self doubt shortly before pipeline/the cell..and it was Haleigh and Alexis who encouraged her.::

::she slowly folded her arms::

Very well...........

::she closed her cobalt blue eyes...and with that , her body BLINKS out of site from Haleigh's cabin. Frost was released from temporal stasis and the column of ice that froze her solid shattered...leaving HER alone in her own cabin....not knowing what happened or how Haleigh had disappeared.::

:: just as this conversation ended....and whatever else was going on around the ship....the ships chronometer chimed MIDNIGHT. they would be reaching port in less than 4 hours to give them a chance to return to the city under the cover of night and make sure Sharon and ALycia were returned to their own residence quietly and safely.::
