Wanted to say sorry that I've been gone for so long. Drove down 12 hours on the weekend to visit friends and family. My grandmother was re-admitted into the hospital because she's dying and my mom's been up my butt about it (i don't know much of my family so it's not as important to me lol) but along with botany and chem midterms all week I was really hosed down (yes i was online doing chem tests :P it's called chemskillbuilder.com and it sucks LOL). But yeah, my mom's finally decided to pull the plug (atleast I hope so) so I'm back and free to sneak around again. But i'm sorry that I held up the game...someone *whaps them* was supposed to let you all know and didn't :P So yeah *hands everyone cookies*

we are all in the corridor on the other side of the doors. the creatures were coming in from the waiting room, from the outside where spellbinder smashed through the doors. Spellbinder is furthest down the corridor followed by Black Widow and Shockwave, then Tempest, Prophet and Black Widow brought up the rear. She moved Prophet forward to allow her more room to work.

i would be inclined to agree. cameron's greatest weakness right now is his cocky attitude and his attempt to assert his "alpha male role on alison and morgan....of ALL the women present..those two are the ones most likely to try to kill him. Eva has proven thus far to be the most "calm" of the bunch....but a new character (who will arrive in a while) will further add to the "sanity" factor in the group...not to mention the soul and fire that Foxfire will bring once she arrives. She'll probably appeal to Cameron, along with Alexis.

I doubt Alexis would appeal to Blaze, they'd butt heads if anything plus she's going to hold a grudge against her, being she's Adam's daughter. Cameron will intrique her but his cocky attitude will provoke her. She will not like Tempest at all with how timid she is. If anything she'll share a bond with Black Widow, they have several things in common plus their powers are polar opposites. ;) But of course her bond with Spellbinder will be known. This "newcomer" will not be welcomed nor guarded in a friendly manner at all. She doesn't trust and it'll be explained why as I delve deeper inside her past....a past that remains a dark secret, even from Morgan.

Tempest isn't timid...she's just smarter lol. Who really bitches at Spellbinder and still values their life? LOL. I didn't think Eva would like Blaze either, she's too out of control for her analytical senses. But i don't think you'll like her temper either when she's pissed off hehe.

We were talking about this yesterday...Cam and Alexis/Haleigh will probably end up bed buddies lmao. Cam/Haleigh share a common hate bond for Morgan and Alison which is probably the only thing they'll talk about...Cam wants Alexis, dunno about the other way lol. Not much going on with Cam and Eva, but he thinks they'll be "on good terms" lol. Alexis and Hay are gonna butt heads. Eva isn't fond of men much, and Cam's ego is already turning her off. Eva's okay with Haleigh for the moment, as long as she starts paying more attention to whats going on instead of whats coming out of peoples mouths. Alexis and Eva will probably be good friends, they're the most level headed so far, and unargumentive to each other unlike everyone else. She doesn't really mind Guardian; she knows her powers are greater and is willing to look at her as a mentor since she hasn't snubbed Eva yet...Rabbit she'll listen to...her ego's out there too, not as much as Cam's, but she doesn't mind her yet either lol.

just to clarify, Foxfire is still BELOW everyone else...she's only two floors above the bio systems lab which is the lowest, most secure area of the Citadle....the Hangar/Dock is the TOP floor of the actual Citadle.

Well I just got news today that my family offically got the house they've been wanting for the past month, down in FL. So, it's offical, i'll be moving. :) It's going to be a little crazy from here on out with packing, and getting my house ready to be sold, but nevertheless, I will be on every day to continue to post. :)

I'm not exactly sure WHEN we will be moving, it's either going to be the middle of March, or the end of June (depending on my mother's work), so I will let everyone know ASAP. If it happens in the middle of March, I will not have computer access for a few days, because of the move and lack of internet. But I will clue everyone in about that situation later, once I know everything for sure.

everyone is doing fantastic! Amy, its nice to have you active with us, and Sam, the improvement in your command of your characters in combat situations shows greatly with Shockwave. Lexi, Haleigh's defiance is her hallmark...but ill look forward to seeing other facets of her following the Citadle Caper and her "change". Brandon, Cameron is the "michael mancini" of this group to be sure....you play him well. it figures the ONLY woman amongst the group to possibly wind up bedding him would be Alexis...someone just as self absorbed as he is. ;) Heather, Foxfire is definately showing that she's a survivor. her skill, wit and ability to improvise are definately more apparent here than they ever were in "Valiant". she's a soldier and it shows.

What's the fun in role playing when every storyline is mapped out all the time? Sometimes its boring when the player knows what will happen. I like to be spontaneous, if I PM you, the reaction won't be as real. I had the same problem with Alessandra with her character back in the day.

For one, the storylines are good but they are taking long to process. I wish they would move faster. So to add some drama I put a little spice into it. I hope this isn't an rpg where EVERYTHING is planned because if it is, I lose interest and my passion.

Just to inform you Farrah, the moving date was pushed up to the end of April. So, I will be packing and what not with my family...so if I don't post as speedy as I usually do, that's why. But my packing shouldn't effect anything in the RP because I always check the forum throughout the day.

However, once the end of the month rolls around, I might not be around for a bit because of the move and my computer being disconnected. I will inform you closer to the date however, when that will happen. I just wanted to let ya know ahead of time!!

some of you are not posting as accurately as you could. your character's actions suggest that your merely shrugging off the changes in the environment or your missing other key things (i.e. shockwave kicking Foxfire ...even though Foxfire was still inside the cylindrical field) ...it diminishes the impact of what is happening when all the characters dont seem to be reasonably responding to changes in the environment or what is happening to others.

we ALL have to be careful becaue i know sometimes we post on top of each other...but i just wanted to point that out while it was fresh on my mind.

Uhh...bad news guys. The moving date was bumped up to Sunday evening...so i'm going to be super super busy trying to finish packing up the house, cleaning, packing up the truck, and saying adios to my friends. It's going to be very very tight from here on out, and unfortunatly, Saturday the internet access in my house will be gone--all our computers are being packed into the truck. So, I might not have access to the net for a good few days because the truck can arrive at the house anywhere from 2-5 buisness days.

I will be able to get on in the evenings until the computers are packed up and post and what not, that's not going to be a problem. But I might not be as active than I usually am in the story lines.

Also, I was thinking for the story line, perhaps Alexis goes somewhere for a few days so when people read it's not like she completely dissapeared from the face of the earth. lol. But it's up to you guys.

okay..just so we're clear...as this storyline was in large part due to brandon's ideas, HE is the director of this particular storyline. I of course am overseeing the general flow and other details....and with that in mind, i need to say this:

it was a real gross error to have Black Widow and Foxfire go across the globe knowing that each of them had key roles in the "press junket" scene which was mere "hours" away based on the passage of time in this current chapter.

Now, we have one side of the story basically wrapped up which is Alison's revival and return to earth but the press junket scene hasnt been completed because Heather has not completed this "point of no return" scenario that she has chosen to play out. Brandon should not have to make a double post with a dummy account to fill the void left by the absence of two MAIN characters that were supposed to be there.

I realize that our characters were supposed to delve into personal aspects of their lives (in fact i promoted that)but you should all remember that your characters MUST go with the flow and the direction of the storyline as it progresses...and take your cues.

Now, Sam and Phoebe are tied up right now with obligations...and the rest of us are doing our part..but I would like you, heather to WRAP IT UP and get Foxfire back to NYC A.S.A.S.P! the game is going to fall flat if we dont try to keep it moving.

My apologies to everyone especially Brandon. However the other night while driving with one of my friends I was involved in a brutal car accident, my side being impacted and flipped over....I was in the hospital, and now been home resting. My mind hasn't been anywhere in this RPG or even contacting Farrah. I was in utter shock and pain.

I'm feeling slightly better but I've been informed to rest in bed. I will not be posting until Monday, again my apologies. I think EVERYONE on here knows I usually post everyday and this is why I haven't.

Secondly, I think it was unfair to push Blaze into this "press junket," Lexi and I were planning our own little storyline while the characters had "downtime." I was not aware of this storyline, and Brandon is the one who placed Blaze there, not me. Forcing my character into the thread, which I wasn't aware of until later. Causing Lexi and I to hurry our storyline.

Perhaps if I was PMed for this storyline, I would have been able to function properly to accommodate Brandon, instead of having to "flow." I understand this is a RPG with detailed storylines planned but I would also like time to develop my character without having to be forced into another thread, terminating my plans.

I mean no disrespect, I'm calmly stating how I feel right now. I might post right now a quick post but that is all. You will not see me until Monday.

My sister's friend's cousin [did you follow that? lol] died in a car crash a year or so ago. It was really said b/c the were like twelve and their mother[who was driving] survived while her kids died. :( I'm glad you weren't severly hurt... those wrecks can be really bad.

as for "forcing you" into a story? come on now. youre apart of a TEAM. whatever side stories you may have, you should be just as creative to work your way BACK to the main focus of the storyline when you are needed. Common sense should tell you that if Blaze is the senior ad exec for the Parthenon campaign that she would be needed at the press junket the day b efore the hotel chain's FLAGSHIP opens in NYC.

this is no different than the first storyline....when Shockwave and Prophet were out having drinks and Spellbinder and Black Widow were bickering at the diner...eventually i made it so all of them were drawn together.

you must let brandon direct and you must be flexible as you were in the first storyline and those to come afterward.

Brandon....to be totally fair, sometimes you may want to PM the character(s) that you will have specific need of for something....in case they are involved in a side story...just so they can QUICKLY adjust accordingly...BUT everyone should remember that even during downtime in the story, the stage for the MAIN storyline is being set by the director and you must be ready to be involved in that.
