<<On Earth it has only been hours since The Six left for A.I.M in the arctic circle. But the team had been gone for TWO WEEKS..spending the time recouperating in Limbo. They now returned to earth , to NYC and Illustra. Having contacted Alycia and Senator Sharon Kelly to deliver the good news about the destruction of NERVOUS, the team were all refreshed and renewed and a general sense of hope and ambition could be felt among them all as they returned to their individual lives with renewed spirit. Morgan even allowed Haleigh and Cameron to move back into Illustra and re settle on the residential floors they originally resided in at the top , private section of Illustra..ALL of the Six lived on the private residential floors at the high end of the sky scrapper>>

<< it was friday evening, and on the top floor of Illustra in the luxe penthouse apartment of Spellbinder, the voice of Celine Dion filled the air from the state of the art sound system. specifically, "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts roasting on an open fire)". Morgan herself was busy getting ready for a night of hob knobbing, high fashion and dancing at one of the premier clubs in NYC's elite club circuit. it had been too long since this supermodel strutted her stuff and flaunted her trademark legs along with the rest of her statuesque body while tripping the light fantastic. a striking list of celebrities would be there as well as other powerfull figures who maintained relevance in the youthfull scene. and for once...Morgan would be able to leave the mantle of Spellbinder here at Illustra....or so she hoped.>>

<< as she prepared herself and selected a stunning ensemble, other members of the six were on various floors of the private residential area of Illustra tending to their business. no doubt all of them had heard about tonights stylish party at Club XS and with the networking opportunities and other possibilities that loomed large...many of them would most likely avail themselves to this event as well>>

** Sage green eyes peered at the picture mounted across the dark crimson wall. Surveying every outline of that platinum double highlighted hair. Blinking long luxurious eyelashes, she cocked her head to the side. Turning around, her lingering shadow danced off the somewhat lite apartment complex above Broadway. Bare feet paddled across the hard wood flooring of her training room. Anger and rage rolled its ugly head in her dark demented soul. **

"Morgan Victoria!"

** Her full glossy lips parting to speak the name with contempt and hatred. Spinning around on the ball of her heel, she reached for a three pronged sai and viciously threw it at the blown up picture. The metallic sais whizzed with accuracy and precision. A loud thud echoed off the wall to alert its impact. Protruding out of the picture of Morgan's forehead was that same weapon Jasmine had just thrown. Narrowing her eyes, she folded her long and lean arms to tighten the pitch black turtle neck that covered her amble C chest. Stepping forward like a graceful cat, her dark jeans rubbed together as she stood in front of the picture. **

"I will have my vengeance!"

** Tucking a fallen piece of jet black hair behind her ear. Reaching up with her free right hand, she pulled the black hair tie from her hair, causing it to swish and layer around her shoulders. Shaking her head, thick jet steams flew around her head elegantly. Turning her neck to the side, she eyed the balcony of her apartment. Curving her lips upward to smile, she crossed the floor of her small apartment. Turning the brass handles she opened the door to be greeted by a small cold gust of air. Inhaling the pure sweet air, she stood outside now. **

"What are you up to my dear..."

** Turning she reached up to the siding of the apartment and expertly flipped up onto the roof. Her athletic body curving inward towards her stomach. Her hair blew lightly in the wind but she brushed it back enough to secure a sleek bun. Her bare feet rubbed against the small pebbles above the roof. Hidden in the corner was a MF2 Sniper Riffle with set. Pulling the black cover from it, she tossed it to the side. Scooping up the sniper riffle, she crouched down. Bracing the gun on a twenty -- five degree angle. She was motioning it towards Illustra. Shutting her left eye as she peered down her short scope, her right index finger moved around to the trigger. Licking her lips slowly, her red scope was a sophisticated weapon, it could blast through walls, see in night, and override certain electrical devices. She smiled more when Morgan came into focus. **

"Hello Barbie."

** She whispered under her breath, which blew small traces of ice. Jasmine didn't even feel the cold, in fact she enjoyed the colder temperatures. She stared at the statuesque woman with a stoic look now. Focusing the riffle, she pushed a small rectangular button on the side with her left thumb and index finger. A small clip sound was heard as she zoomed in on her target. The small red dots were directly around Morgan's forehead as she moved in her penthouse. Pretending to push the trigger, Frost chuckled under her breath, it was more of a cackle though. Pulling away, she stood up. Her apartment was several blocks away but with such powerful technology and her perfect vision, anything was possible. But, Frost knew it would be too cheap to attempt to assassinate Morgan Victoria. She wanted to battle her one on one. In a sadistic way she admired her fury but she also was disgusted by the former model. Returning the black cape over her weaponry, its outline disappeared enabling it invisible to the common eye. Walking to the edge, she reached down to the side and slowly her eyes bent forward, something out of a gymnastic show. With a whirling sound, she was planted on the marble balcony. **

** Once inside, the smell of incense intoxicated the mutant's senses, almost calming her shady demeanor. Locking the balcony and pulling the thick black drapes, she glanced at the picture again. **

"Soon."

** It rolled off her tongue easily, a bit of an Italian accent evident from her upbringing. Walking to the closet, she opened it. It was lined with hanging business suits dedicated with the most brilliant designers. In the background was the eclectic music of Enigma's "I love you, I'll kill you" playing. Picking out a pin stripped black and white suit, she would see about getting a job at the infamous Illustra. Looking up to the mirror, her cold and calculating reflection starring back at her. She noted her green eyes, her blue contact lenses would be a must on this trip. Jasmine's apartment was rather empty. Just a Queen bed, a nightstand, a bathroom, and a small television set. Simplicity was a must with her. **

** A little later and Jasmine was dressed and ready to go. Snapping her fossil watch on she picked out a black leather jacket to cover her business suit. She hardly needed it but if she wanted to wear this "human" facade she had to. Her thoughts lingered to Blaze but she pushed them away. Emotions were messy and she detested them. Jingling keys were placed in a small flat purse that was worn over her left shoulder. Locking her door, she closed it good -- bye for now. Bewitching blue eyes stared at the people outside as she walked to Illustra. Some of them looking her up and down, but Jasmine paid no attention. **

"Yo baby! Can I get some fries with that shake!"

** A medium sized black man with clothing of a hoodlum came bouncing up. His awful bad breath caused Jasmine to flinch. He circled around her with a nod, "girl you look good enough to eat!" He grinned up, his teeth full of gold caps. He almost resembled the rapper, Little John. He kept tormenting Jasmine when she reached inside her purse. "You got something for me baby?" She kept her cool, mentally memorizing his height and approximately weight. "I certainly do." Jasmine pulled out a ten dollar bill and dropped it to the ground. He reached down to pick it up and she cupped her hands over her mouth. A light blue aura formed and immediately a splash of ice formed to strike the man with dreads in the back of the skull. The tiny icicles formed and imbedded immediately as he collapsed onto the dirty side walk. The ice melted, leaving no evidence of her ice weapon. Turning around, she smirked again. **

"Men, so easy to manipulate."

::Madonna's "Shanti Ashtangi", from the Ray of light album played its relaxing, ethereal melody throughout Alison Marble's apartment. the deep beating bass, the dreamy electronica and Madonna's bewitching vocals provided a most appropriate vibe for one of the most mysterious members of the team. for although she had showed a softer, surprisingly HUMAN side of herself in the weeks following NERVOUS, her past...her motivations...and many other aspects of who she is were still unknown to most if not all of the Six..no one..not even Cameron could penetrate her psi screen and her power as a pre-cog gave her a distinct over the team when it came to perception and tactical savvy.::

::tonight would be most interesting when it came to just how Alison Marble would appear in public. Often regarded simply as a mysterious socialite with ties to the fashion industry and a dear friend of Morgan...Alison's "involvement" with Illustra was just as much of a mystery to the public as her past was to the Six. She had shown just how bold and daring she could be at the gala several months ago when she appeared in a daring black leather versace dress that would wouldve made Lil Kim blush. She also showed just how alluring and sexy she could be as she arrived on the arm of Diddy and spent most of the evening enjoying his company very closely.::

::what would she do tonight? how would she look and act? that would all have to unfold as SHE saw fit...and that was what made this "Guardian" so mysterious...even after nearly a YEAR of being with her team mates and going through so much with them::

:: she moved through her sprawling apartment...preparing to dress and style herself for tonights fun on the town.....and even as Illustra was already under the eye of a vengefull predator only a few blocks away, Alison moved about her business, thinking only of herself and THE MOMENT at hand.::

The World turns smoothly as if nothing has happened. New York City is as alive as always and the Holiday spirit fills the air with an excitement that is contagious. The Irony is not lost on Haleigh Davidoff, who stands, melancholy, before a white marble wall emblazoned with silver stars. The memorial is not unlike the CIA's Memorial wall, but this one is located in Clandestine Intelligence and immortilizes those who have worked for CI and died in service. Above the stars is the engraving as follows: In honor of those Agents who died in the line of duty

A Book, resting on a podium on display in front of the wall, is open to a new entry. The entry is a short biography on Blaze Fielding, star number 23 on the wall. Haleigh kneels and lays a dozen white roses at the base of the monument. Her voice is low and cracked and she doesnt know if Blaze can hear her, but must say something anyway, her head bowed down, her countenance stricken with pain.

"I'm so sorry it had to be you, Ace. It should have been me... and everyone in the Six, including myself, knows it. I was so headstrong... [shaking her head] I should have listened to you... and the guilt is more than I can bear." She paused, taking a deep breath and continuing on a more positive note. "Your sister and I reached a compromise... we have finally accomplished what you fought for, died for. Your death was not... will never be in vain, Blaze... and you will never be forgotten."

Haleigh is silent for minutes on end, immobile breifly before rubbing her eyes and standing once more. She turns to leave, though she's gotten no work at all done today. She rode the elevator to the top floor and waited in the sky lounge for her helicopter to arrive. She had spent all day in her office, zoning out. Even work had not released her from her distracted daze... In earth time, she'd only been alive a couple weeks... and most of it had been a blur, rushing to either stabilize her new company or save Alexis from her aunt... and then there was the AIM caper, which had taken them all away. Haleigh'd hardly had time to think about how different things were, now without Blaze. It mightn't be so hard if she could pick up the phone and call Cameron, have lunch with him again, talking and venting and laughing like they used to. He used to be a pillar of support for her, and now that she needed him more than ever their relationship was in utter disrepair... they'd hardly spoken while in Limbo... Haleigh wanted to clear things up with Alison before confronting him... and since Haleigh and Alison's paths never crossed during their time in Limbo, Haleigh had kind of avoided direct interaction with him, and instead sulked around distracting herself with the beauty of the Garden and Ororo's castle.

the Helicopter arrived and transported Haleigh back to Illustra in a matter of minutes. Haleigh had moved from her palatial estate in the East Hamptons and taken up residence in Illustra once more. Being a part of the group, which now had a feeling of camaraderie, was, to her, worth the sacrifice. She didn't put the home up for sale, however... she decided to keep it as a vacation spot or safe house, whichever she might need. She exited the Executive elevator once she reached her floor, which was quite soon since she was coming from the helipad on the roof and she lived on one of the top floors. She let herself into her presidential flat, tossing the keys on the table by the door and hanging her coat up. She had an hour or so before the party at XS. She hadnt planned on going... but she needed to get out and cut loose... drink a little bit... Haleigh paused by the sliding glass door, looking out past her balcony at the city lights. A particular laser light off in the distance caught her eye, a small red dot almost directly ahead. She stared at it... it seemed too low to be an aircraft nav light or a tower position light... and it appeared to come directly from an apartment complex... but even as Haleigh began to focus on it, it disappeared before she could lock onto the source, and as a result she couldnt exactly determine its source. She shook it off and left the window, unaware it was a firearm sight that had targeted Morgan, a couple floors above. She instead began to get dressed for a night on the town, brushing her curiousity off. Probably somebody's appliance power light or something... I DO have bionic sight, after all. I think I've grown to be paranoid schitzophrenic. Who could really blame me, though, with how many people have tried to kill me?? Haleigh chuckled softly to herself, shaking her head. Maybe she imagined it.

:: Alexis was in a mental debate on whether she wanted to go to this party at Club XS tonight that has been the talk of the town. Even though she had found the relaxation she needed in Ororo's garden; felt somewhat whole again, Alexis had yet to step foot outside of Illustra in her true form, to face the public. It sickened her that even now, tabloids still spoke about the Gala that happened almost a 3 weeks earlier. Each rumor growing into outright lies. Inhaling a deep breath in through her nose, Alexis stood from her couch and began to make her way down her hall and into her bedroom. Dressed in plum silk pajama pants and a black long sleeved top, the meta human proceeded to head to her walk in closet, flipping on the light switch as she entered. ::

"You got to snap out of this funk, Lex."

:: She whispered to herself as she began to scan the various designer outfits that hung in her massively huge closet. It was a wonder how anyone could single out one outfit from thousands...but Alexis normally expressed herself through her clothing, therefore wearing exactly how she was feeling at the moment. Letting out a heavy sigh, Alexis took a step forward toward a row of nothing but dresses. Pushing each dress aside to get a better look at the next, her eyes fell upon a dress that just seemed to click with her mood. Standing on her tippy toes, she grabbed the black hanger removing the dress from it's resting position. Casually pulling back the fabric to get a better look at the tag, Alexis' brows rose with delight. ::

"Dolce; nice."

:: Dolce always seemed to boost her mood; funny how she always seemed to pick out that designer absentmindedly when in one of her funks. Stepping out from her closet, she tossed the dress onto her bed as she made her way past it. Disappearing into her bathroom, Alexis began to get ready for this evening. She had no idea how it was going to go down--hopefully better then her Gala Event....That’s all she needed, more dead relatives wanting a family reunion. ::

** After a few hours had passed, Jasmine met with a few members of Illustra who looked over her resume. It was an impressive one and they would set up an interview in the following days for the secretary position. The wintery mutant could get an exclusive look at these people, especially that Morgan Victoria. While there, her observance proved such an asset, overhearing talk of a social gathering of the club, XS. Her sisters! A wicked grin plastered over her face as she stood up, buttoning up her blazer. "Thank you Ms. Fielding?" Jasmine smiled, "my cousin...Blaze worked here." The woman nodded, making a note how similar the two looked. Peering down at her watch, Frost had to go. Picking up her jacket, she slipped out the front end of the entrance. **

** Guess who was going to buy, club XS? One guess, kids. That's right, Ms. Jasmine Klein. And she was one of the richest people around, if not one of the ruthless. Making the extra walk, she stopped by the club. Its expensive taste was remarkable but nonetheless, it would be bought out, starting tonight! "Excuse me miss, may I help you?" Jasmine peered up at the muscular bold man who appeared to be a Vin Diesel knockoff. "You sure can, I want to see Mr. Barker." She went to side step when he stood over her, dwarfing her. "You'll need an appointment." Frost turned towards him, "well I'm making an appointment now, I have personal business.." He frowned but glanced at the closed door, "wait here.." Jasmine flashed a model smile, "okay.." When he left, she tapped her watch and inside was a tiny dart inside with a special liquid gel to knock someone unconscious. Plucking it she slide it up the sleeve of her jacket. Folding her hands in front of her, she waited. The sound of heavy footsteps echoed in the hallway to signal the bodyguard. "I'm sorry, he ca.." With a dazzling flick of the wrist, Jasmine flung the dart to the man's jugular. Immediately he collapsed. Pretending to care, she crouched down to pull the dart out, slipping it into her pocket. "This man needs assistance." Several people running over as Frosty stepped over him. **

** Her leather ankle boots clicking loudly onto the black marble flooring until she reached Mr. Barkers office. Opening it, he looked up from his desk. "Who are you?!" He demanded with a firm tone. Kicking the door behind her shut. She snapped her fingers and a small chunk of ice surrounded the knob to freeze the spring and the small nails. "Why, I'm owner of this club! Blaze Fielding was my sister and its mine now." He frowned and shook his head, "she doesn't have a sister, just a half sibling, Morgan." Snapping her fingers together a block of ice about an inch wide formed around Mr. Barkers mouth, freezing it shut. "Don't speak of the bitch's name! A new sheriff is in town." She walked around to kick his chair back with the back of her black heel, knocking him backwards. "Your being bought out my dear." Unbuttoning her jacket, she flipped out a small Motorola. "I will wire the money immediately." Yanking him up by the tie, she pulled him close to her face. **

"Your bolding, near overweight, and you cheat on your wife. A man like you deserves nothing! But because I'm feeling rather well, I'll buy your share out." Shoving him backwards, she stomped her heel on the guy's chest, pinning him there. "Ahhh, cell phones suck!" She finally reached her father, "daddy...I'm buying club XS, would you wire the money to Mr. Barkers account, its.." She threw the phone at him. Poor Mr. Barker was a chubby looking man with that old comb over style with business suits and yellow teeth. His body shook with bright when Blaze snapped her fingers as the ice melted from his lips, enabling him to speak. Grabbing her cell, she shut it closed. "good boy!" Yanking his tie forward, he was jerked forward from the chair, falling at her boots. "Now, take your little vacation and go! You've just been fired!" He got up when she grabbed both sides of his skull, "BUT, humans always talk! So I can't let you go.." Running the side of her palm down his face, her eyes grew a bright aqua shade due to the contact lenses. "did I tell you about the brain freeze?" She cackled as his face began to get blue but his head was losing blood due to the fact it was frozen. Veins started to pop out, especially the blue ones. His nose bleeding heavily as she used her mind to freeze more. "Sucks huh?" Her hand printed across his face while she eyed her watch, "drop dead already!" Suddenly he collapsed down, dead. **

"Finally! Christ." She returned to the desk when she placed a small ear bud in her ear, connecting her to her comrade. "Bring in house cleaning, I made a mess." In the blink of an eye, several members walked in and grabbed Mr. Barker and blinked out. "Gotta love that Haleigh, chick for her services..." Returning to the computer, she typed away to crack his password, mainly she was a hacker. Deleting his old files, she correctly the lead title of owner: Jasmine...Fielding." Pushing herself off the desk, she opened the window to allow cool air to flood the room. Turning, she opened the door to see several concerned staff, "Mr. Barker has quit...I'm the new owner. He has informed me of his departure. First thing on the agenda...a raise to all staff by 50%." The staff cheered and clapped. She nodded, "yes...out with the old and in with the new.." Eyeing her watch, she noted the time, "Your all doing fabulous but if you'll excuse me I've got to change." She smiled and slipped out. Nobody seemed to care about Mr. Barker, money talked and with Jasmine it spoke fluently **

Haleigh was among the first on the scene. The Papparazzi was already set up and the silver Rolls Royce Phantom got everyone's attention. It was a flashy luxury car that meant both money AND high society class. Haleigh had chosen it on a whim because she'd liked the 'extra features'.... It was her Batmobile. ;) She slid out of the driver's seat and closed the door, greeting the flash photography with a pearly, knowing smile. She didn't squint, despite the bright lights, as she paused and made incremental turns for a couple of smiling candids. A valet approached her and offered to park her car, his eyes betraying a gleam of excitement. Haleigh smiled, a wicked tease of a smirk, and handed the boy a fifty dollar bill as she shook her head.

"I have a personal driver, but thank you."

She said, brushing past, leaving him puzzled as the car drove away. The windows were tinted too darkly too see that there was no driver at the wheel as it sped off. Haleigh worked the red carpet with confidence and poise. She knew she looked stunning, her blonde hair elegantly updone and modeling the sweeping thigh length white dress she'd selected for the night. It was halter top style and backless and she stopped at the entrance to throw a mischeivoud glance back at the cameras, the customary over-the-shoulder picture. the bouncer stood in her path, ahead of the velvet rope that cordoned off the entrance to the swanky hotspot dance club. He raised a clipboard and gave her an inquisitory look. As soon as she gave him her name he moved aside, unclipping the rope and allowing her to pass without even glancing at his clipboard.

Bouncer:"Welcome to Club XS, Ms. Davidoff. Your usual table is ready and waiting, and if there's anything we can do for you, don't hesitate to ask a server. Enjoy your night."

Haleigh nodded with graceful acceptance and slipped past him, glad she'd called on the way to insure she was still on the VIP list. At least some things hadn't changed. As she sashayed across the dance floor to the table she usually occupied, a couple of catcalls sounded over the music. Haleigh glanced over to her left, a playful 'only in your dreams' look at the group of rowdy and overly eager college boys from which the sounds orignated. Haleigh figured they knew the new owner or something, to be allowed in to such a prestigious party, for she knew tonight XS had been closed to the general public to allow for the comfort of its more distinguished clients. Haleigh figured the male attention was par for the course tonight, for she'd not exactly dressed conservatively. While she maintained class with what she wore and was gauranteed to be out-skanked, the way her cleavage-teasing snow white dress (http://www.scarlettjohansson.org/gallery/albums/movies/matchpoint/stills/03.jpg) clung loosely to her figure and the flutter of the hem over her thighs as she passed was... tantalizing, to say the least. Haleigh cased the place, pleased to see no structural or decorative changes had been made. There were a couple of other groups of people mingling about, mainly b-list actors in town for the event and hoping to network. Haleigh was attended to by a male server nearly as soon as she settled in the round booth, and she politely ordered a Long Island Iced Tea. Those always had a nice kick for her and she needed to unwind, so something effective was the way to go tonight.

** Cold and calculating eyes probed throughout the packed club of XS. She was there and no doubt she noticed Haleigh's entrance but this was not the Haleigh she knew for the look was different, so Jasmine figured the elegant blonde was a super star. The room was after all packed with them. Jasmine herself wore a long white gown designed by Prada. It contoured her hour glass figure perfectly and it complimented her model like looks. The dress itself shimmered with black lace that came just a little above the ankle and wrapped around the neck line like that of a halter, no open back. A plunging neckline revealed "amble cleavage" that was playful yet tasteful. Keeping the center of the dress in place was a round gold ring that added style and grace. Sandal pumps were worn and diamond earrings that dangled down to her shoulders were nice accessories. And lastly Ms. Klein's hair was styled into an updo. **

** Standing in off to the side of the club, she spoke with various club officials with how well the party was going. Even though she just purchased it or rather killed for it, it was definitely worth it. A chilled glass of champagne was held in her left hand as her gold bracelets shinned in the lighting from above. She flashed a brilliant smile to hide her disgust. She was quietly scanning the crowd for her, where was she? Most likely she would show up fashionable late, that's so typical of a Victoria. Blinking her eye, she cursed under her breath, making sure it was not audible. Her contact lens was dying up, she would have to take them out. Excusing herself from the others she headed for the bathroom when she accidentally bumped into Haleigh. Stopping, she spun around quickly on those pumps, "I'm so sorry." She reached out to touch her on the shoulder. How she detested this friendly act, but she had to be polite. **

** Reaching up, she moved her contact lens back over the iris as she blinked to moisten them. And it didn't help Frost's power dried these up but luckily she could control water. Small tears rolled down her cheeks as she wiped them away. "Much better." Her eyes focused on Haleigh and a small crease formed on her forehead, "have we.." She paused to scan her memory banks, "you remind me of someone, I could have sworn we have met." Tilting her head to the side. Besides the same height and weight as Blaze, Jasmine wore the same perfume, Cool Water, as her younger sister. She was pretty sure her cover was protected. "Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Jasmine...Fielding." She outstretched her hand as she stood on the right side of her heel. "And you are?" She perked a curious brow at such a young looking woman. Jasmine wasn't even sure if this girl was twenty-one but if she was on the list, she was in. "I'm owner of this club." Her voice straight and to the point but with tidbits of an accent. Same exact tone as Blaze though, that calm and soothing tone. In ways she was a mirror of some personality features of Foxfire. Facing her hand, palm up it was ice cold, like something out of Antarctica. Taking a small sip of her champagne, her eyes stirred back onto Haleigh, awaiting a reply. She didn't even know she was talking to Black Widow, the woman who supplied her family everything, including that fancy little watch she wore. Tonight would be memorable. **

Haleigh had ordered her THIRD drink before leaving her secluded table for the restroom. The party was alive now, several a-listers were beginning to show up. Despite the fact that Haleigh had business [and pleasure] relationships with many of these people, only Ewan Mcgregor had approached her, and he was looking for a hookup... Haleigh danced with him, to 50 Cent's "A Lil Bit", a nicely paced song that the two made the most of, dancing provacatively and beginning to stir up the club atmosphere enough to get a busy dance floor. Haleigh laughed politely at his jokes and complimented his english accent, but declined allowing him to buy her a drink. He didnt recognize her because her new face was so radically different than her original one, but they'd slept together before... in fact, many times after they met at a photoshoot... and the sex was GOOD... it was just that Haleigh had Zach now... and he was one she wanted to keep. She excused herself to 'freshen up', feeling a little tipsy anyway. It didnt help that she hadn't eaten since breakfast.... she was beginning to feel her body catalyze the alcohol.

She heard someone shriek loudly and turned to look out of instinct, it was just someone happy to see another and as Haleigh rolled her eyes and turned back around she ran abruptly into Frost. The woman apologized but Haleigh didnt bother speaking, and as the woman reached out to be friendly Hales rolled her shoulder back to avoid being touched. She had no idea why people in clubs were SO touchy feely with complete strangers. the light in the club shifted and illuminated the area breifly, giving Haleigh a quick look at the woman's face as she fixed her contact. Haleigh gasped and stepped quickly back once, her heart LITERALLY missing a couple beats. Her eyes widened and then she recovered, shaking the image away. Blaze was gone... she must have been imagining it. But then the woman spoke, and gave her name, and Haleigh listened closely to the accent. She stared in the darkness, her eyes adapting instantly. She ALSO felt like they'd met before... and not because she'd been reminded of Blaze... but because she felt like she seen her somewhere... not that theyd met directly, neccessarily, but that she'd been in the background of a business meeting at someone's house. It must have been someone big, for Haleigh to make a house call... but she could distinctly remember italian imported furniture. She tried harder to remember... but the vodka made things fuzzy and Haleigh resigned after a few moments. Had she been suited up, she would have immediately been able to identify her as Frost... thanks to DNA matching and having scanned all those files from Nervous... and with the identification, she would have known the woman's TRUE name.... as for now... Haleigh just felt something was.... off.

At the same time... Jasmine's uncanny resemblance to Blaze and the last name she gave staggered Haleigh... she was torn between not quite trusting what the woman was telling her and WANTING to trust her. She made the first mistake she had in a long time... she went with her heart, and exposed herself to a dangerous situation without thinking it through.

"Are you sure??" She laughed shortly and shook her head, trying again. "I mean, i know thats a ridiculous question, are you sure that's your name... but I feel like I've met you before too... and I feel like your name should be something else. Wait... you're the owner?? Thats strange."

Haleigh furrowed her brow but took the woman's hand and shook it, immediately recognizing her own handiwork... now she knew they MUST have met somehow... or else she was tied closely with a good business partner... for there were SOME gadgets that werent for sale to jsut ANYONE... and this woman was wearing one of them. Haleigh noticed immediately how COLD the woman's hand was... and knew Frost would definitely notice how warm her hand was in return... for Haleigh's body temp was always above 110 degrees. Haleigh felt a moment of reservation, but alcohol made her slightly careless and she continued anyways.

"I'm Haleigh Davidoff... I am-- [quietly]was... very close with the former owner. I don't recall her mentioning you. EVER."

<< putting the finishing touches on herself, Morgan was now fierce, glamorous and ready to hit the town, her peers and the tabloids with a powerfull "one-two" punch that only SHE could be famous for>>

stepping out of the express elevator to a quiet, crystaline lobby on the ground floor of Illustra, Morgan was provocative as ever this evening wearing a Black, leather, Gucci-plunging halter mini dress w/a sparkling pure white diamond "double G" ornament (http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0006HJ8GE.01-A39U745IDK2WMA._SS500_SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg) topping off the outfit with sexyBlack, leather Gucci four inch spiked heeled knee boots w/ solid sparkling white diamond buckles (http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000CC6352.01-A39U745IDK2WMA._SS500_SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg). It was the perfect mix of exquisite leather and diamond bling while at the same time exposing MUCH of Morgan's celebrated cleavage and trademark FLAWLESS long legs. Her hair was pulled back into an upward pony tail which was full bodied and crimped out giving her a trendy club look. her eyemake up was smokey and fierce giving her a far darker and alluring countenance in contrast to her sparkling icy violet eyes...the woman looked like a sexy , dark erotic valkyrie...and would be quite a shocking sight for the other members of the Six as well>>

<< primping for a moment before a black super stretch cadillac escalade w/ golden lights and accents rolled up to the circular drive of Illustra's front...Morgan turned to see her date...a beautiful man by the name of Boris Kodjoe (http://www.pitt.edu/~dpbrowne/bilingual/kodje.jpg) who was dressed in a in a black Kenneth cole shirt which was strategically unbuttoned to reveal his adonis chest along with masculine cut Kenneth cole black leather pants and matching black Kenneth Cole loafers w/diamond buckles and black socks. his smile gleamed with devilsh delight as he awaited the arrival of his bewitching date for the evening at the hottest ticket in town. Diddy (http://www.epimusic.de/feature/Feature_Juni/pics/p_diddy.jpg) stepped out as well...dapper and sexy in Sean Jean Leather ensemble consisting of a straight lined cut jacket and leather pants that allowed a teasing view of his own built chest.. he winked at Morgan>>

Gentleman.....so glad you could join us tonight!

<< strutting up to the beautiful model/actor, Morgan pressed up against him and they exchanged a friendly, flirty, yet passionate kiss as he examined her provocative dress and she his rock hard abs. after they disengaged, Morgan gave Diddy a kiss as well..a friendly kiss on the mouth. It was clear that Morgan and Alison were quite friendly and connected to Diddy and Boris and many other powerfull, beautiful celebrities.>>

<< in an icy voice>> Alison will be along any moment boys. Madonna and Alycia will be arriving together since they were in the area and our VIP lounge is already reserved.

<<the super model, rap mogul and actor all waited for Alison Marble to arrive so that they could be on their way so they could steal the scene at the red carpet with their friends, Madonna and Alycia Barnett.>>

::"BLINKING" into view on the ground floor behind a wall away from the front...Alison appeared. She was wearing a CELINE- odessa black mini dress w/floral applique and sheer accent (http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000A423EC.01-A39U745IDK2WMA._SS500_SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg). she stepped forward, bare legged, wearing Envious black, open toe stilletto heels w/skinny belt accent and canary yellow diamond buckles (http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000A3VECU.01-A39U745IDK2WMA._SS500_SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg) the spiked heels were simple and didnt take away from the sleek, sexy outfit that Alison was wearing with titillating effect. Her blue/black hair is sleek and bone straight, just above the shoulders and parted down the middle in a bouncy chinese bob. She looked for all the world like a sultry bird of prey and once again she would shock members of the Six and paparazzi alike in an outfit that was so OUT of character for her.::

:: she quickly made her way out to the main area of the Lobby..spotting Morgan, Boris Kodjoe and Diddy::

::her voice was less commanding, softer with a lilt:: Morgan, you look FABULOUS! ::the two women hugged as the men nodded with agreement ::

Boris. ::Alison greeted him with a hug and a kiss::

Diddy!!!! :: they seemed to be rather fond of each other as he hugged her tight and close...his hands moving down further on her back as they kissed::

:: as they all admired each other's good looks and cutting edge style. they got into the limo and with the sipping of Cristal champagne and friendly, flirty conversation the group was whisked across town to XS...pulling up right to the red Carpet...and JUST IN TIME as the crowd was already growing WILD with the arrival of Madonna (http://content.clearchannel.com/Photos/musicians/madonna/madonna1.jpg) looking ever so sexy in Jean Paul Gaultier and Alycia Barnett!!! who was also OUT of character in a Calvin Klein black mini dress with silver heeled stillettos and her hand slicked back in a glossed do.::

::flash bulbs began to go off faster and the din of their shutters filled the air as fans and paparazzi screamed for attention and poses::

:: Morgan, Alison, Madonna and Alycia all greeted each other on the red carpet and exchanged hugs and kisses..much to the delight of the crowd...and as they made their way, Diddy and Boris joined the women flanking either side of the foursome. finally stopping at a photo wall, the powerfull group of celebs struck poses for the camera...including a pose where Madonna is kissed on either cheek by Morgan and Alison while Diddy and Boris replicate that move on Alycia!::

:: the buzz from the outside reaches the INSIDE as word gets around about who is arriving and chatter starts to grow as people move towards the doors::

:: Alexis’ sleek black limo slowly pulled to a stop in front of the red carpet extending up to Club XS. Looking out the tinted windows to the paparazzi perking up, she knew if she went out as herself, she would be hounded left and right. Lifting her chin–a trademark made popular by her aunt–Alexis stayed in the car for a few moments, brushing back her side swept blonde bangs from her eyes. Turning to her limo driver, she saw his eyes scanning her through the review mirror. Nodding to him giving him the cue to go ahead and open the doors for her, the driver nodded back and opened the driver side door stepping out. Clearing her throat, her sapphire hues watched as Dennis (who happened to be her father Adam’s limo driver many years ago), make his way around to her door. As he leaned down, pulling the handle, the paparazzi perked up anticipating who it might be emerging from the limo. Right as Dennis pulled open the door, the faint reminisce of white lights could be seen illuminating the inside of the dark vehicle. Dipping her head down, Alexis placed one foot onto the solid pavement and stood finally revealing "herself" (http://www.stars2go.com/j/famke-janssen/famke_janssen.jpg). Smirking very subtly as the photographers sighed with disappointment at the unknown beauty, Alexis sashayed down the red carpet to the entrance of Club XS. Noticing the bouncer looking to her with a questionable expression on his face, well damn, Alexis didn’t think this through quite well. ::

"Why hello there..."

:: Smiling to the stone faced large man, Alexis narrowed her eyes slightly noticing he wasn’t budging. Letting out a soft grunt, well, desperate times call for desperate measurers. Folding her arms along her chest as the bouncer burned a hole into her forehead, Alexis subtly snapped her fingers as the club lights, inside and out began to flicker. The bouncer and paparazzi began to look around in confusion, until finally, the entire club went pitch black. A frenzy of chattering began to erupt, questioning what could possibly be going on. Slipping past the bouncer casually, Alexis opened the door to the darken club, snapping her fingers once more as the lights and blaring music that was once thumping within the crowded club immediately came out, revealing the questionable looks on the guests faces. Stepping forward, Alexis was in her true form now. Dressed in a sleek black designer jumpsuit (http://www.venusswimwear.com/productimages/Fall04/Z4624F.jpg), it wasn’t something Alexis would typically wear. Fully prepared to come dressed to impress with a Dolce dress, she decided to go with something a little different; something that people wouldn’t normally picture her in. Walking across the club floor, her black open toed heals clicked softly against the marble flooring; the sound completely overtaken by chatter and loud music. Lifting her slender finger to her should length blonde hair, Alexis brushed it away from her face, looking around the packed club to see if any of the other members had arrived yet. Noticing Alison and Morgan dressed...well, dressed in outfits she would of never pictured them in, the meta human’s brow raised ever so slightly as an amused smirk danced along her lips. They were both full of tricks these days; especially Alison of all people. Pushing her way past some obnoxious people, Alexis made her way up to both woman, giving them a small smile. ::

"Well, well, well..don’t you two look sharp."

:: Her tone was playful, Alison and Morgan obviously noting her shock. Looking to their guests around them, she nodded casually as she played with the black silk scarf that was wrapped around her neck. Glancing around the club through smoky black eyes, her blue orbs popped just as much as Alison’s did as the neon lights randomly danced along the main floor. She hadn’t been here since Blaze had died, and from the looks of it, business seemed to be doing well. It was somewhat strange, yet in a way, somewhat ratifying knowing that the group was taking steps forward. Herself included...well, somewhat. ;) ::

[ Delilah walked aimlessly around the apartment, touching a piece of furniture now and then absentmindedly. Everything about the place said one thing: Blaze.

When Morgan has suggested that Delilah move into Blaze's old penthouse at Illustra, she had been honored. But now, with memories of her old team mate and friend flooding back to her, she wasn't so sure it was a good idea.

Morgan had had someone bring her things from her old apartment: a sunny if small walkup in Alphabet City. She looked at the few boxes and suitcases that now sat in a corner. Her clothes would hardly fill a quarter of ONE of the massive closets in the apartment. Delilah Trelaven, unlike her high-powered friends, was not wealthy. She led a simple life - by no means wanting for any necessities - but she was not used to this style of living. Anything material she wanted she had to work hard for.

She sat down on the crimson leather sofa. And now she was supposed to be getting ready for a night out with the others at Blaze's old club. She looked at Morgan and Alison like family, but she would be lying if she said she didn't feel at least a tad uncomfortable and out of place at some of the situations she found herself at with them. They were Valentino and she was...well she didn't even know what she was. The tomboy in Blaze would have understood...

And then she had an idea. She got up and went to the bedroom. She flung open the door to the massive walk in closet. She flipped through outfit after outfit - Blaze had been smaller than Delilah - but she finally found something that suited her. She would never be as glamourous as the others, but at least now she would look like she belonged.

She dressed quickly in the short textured skirt and revealing top (http://www.indiavarta.com/gallery/images/2003/july/19/fashion11.jpg) combination. It had a hard edged metallic look but was comfortable enough, matching Delilah's personality. After spending a few seconds trying to decide whether she could fit her badge in someplace, she decided against it, picking up a small bag off a shelf full of them and slipped it inside. As she slid on a fur-lined full length coat, she laughed to herself. Wasn't it she herself who laughed at the women she saw on the street who refused to dress for the weather?

Taking the elevator downstairs and getting into the driver's seat of her awaiting silver Lexus SC, she drove herself to XS. Tentatively handing the keys to the valet - she never did like handing her car keys to complete strangers - Delilah entered the club. Giving her name at the door and checking her coat, she took a deep breath and joined the party. ]

[ Delilah decided to get a drink to relax herself before looking for Morgan and the others. Walking up to the bar, she ordered a whisky. The barman started to give her Bushmill's, but she knew from many an after-work drink with Irish cops that Bushmill's was "Orange whisky", and instead asked for Powers.

She held the rocks glass in her hand and sipped the drink slowly, as she leant with her back to the bar and looked around the room, searching for a familiar face. ]

** As Jasmine awaited a reply she noted how the blonde backed away when she touched her. Good, both detested touchy -- feelly none sense. Clearing her voice, she turned to overhear the crowds reaction and running photographers. It meant one thing! The big bad bitch and her cohorts had arrived. This caused Jas to actually smile but it was more wicked than genuine. Haleigh's question rang in her ears as she drew them back onto Black Widow. "I'm more than sure, I was born that name.." It was just a shame it really was not hers until years later. Immediately bells rang inside Frost's mind, so this little blonde bombshell was clever but who was she really? She patiently waited, her blue eyes intensely locked. She was secretly trying to figure out who this girl was. If she was a threat to her cover, Jasmine would have to terminate her. Pushing the thought away, her cold hands began to sweat, which was highly unlikely. Releasing the shake, she felt an enormous heatwave rock her body like lightning. Blinking her long eyelashes, she steadied herself by leaning on the other leg. Running her perspiring hand along the crisp champagne glass to soothe it. Taking another sip she choked on the bubbling liquid, Haleigh Davidoff. Coughing quickly as the other liquid maneuvered through her lungs. Tears rolling down her cheeks as she gasped for air. **

** Recovering her moment of weakness she smiled, "I was never really a champagne person." Her body dropping in temperature again but already her forehead was soaked. Deciding to let her hair down, Jasmine reached up from the pin and released a set of full jet black hair. Falling to her shoulders, she did not comment on the girls name. Who was this childish wench? "Its lovely to meet you Haleigh...I'm the cousin of Blaze Fielding. I was left in her will to take over this place. That's probably why you have not heard of me." She winked. **

"I heard your infamous for that company of yours...I have someone you'd love to meet. Follow me."

** Slipping past a few officials, Jasmine lead Haleigh to the back office. She had a plan to test this little girl. Thoughts rambling through her mind, but none of it was revealed through those icy irises. It would be in Jasmine's favor that Haleigh was slightly intoxicated. Once they entered into the office, Jasmine froze the door knob again. **

** And in a blur of movements she reached out with her right hand and grasped Haleigh by the throat. Her eyes flashing with annoyance as she clenched her jaw. "Haleigh Davidoff you are NOT! I know exactly what she looks like! So, why do I feel like YOU are not her?! I will give you a minute to explain yourself and if I feel you are not her, you die." Releasing Haleigh's throat, Frost backed away. Folding her arms across her chest, "but since we're playing whose who, I'm not who I say I am. My name is Jasmine Klein but as the last name of Fielding fits..." She stopped to remove her contact lenses to reveal fiery sage green eyes that were Blaze's. "Blaze Fielding was my identical twin." The picture would be getting very clear to Haleigh now. "We were separated at birth."

<< Morgan smiled as she made sure everyone was together as they made their way up a laser lighted spiral stair case as laser and strobe lights flashed around....a disco ball spun and sparkled and the DJ drove the crowd with his infections, bass booming house beats. celebrities, socialites, young political figures, super models, and the music industry heavy hitters were all here...and as far as anyone knew...this night was made possible by Morgan and Illustra Inc...as the club was SUPPOSED to have been under her control now. :: Smiling as Morgan complimented her outfit, she grinned to Alison who also seemed to enjoy it as well. But as Alexis was about to head to the bar to get a club soda with lime, Morgan pulled her into a huge photo op completely catching Alexis of guard. Letting out a bit of a laugh, well, this was exactly what she was trying to avoid; pictures. But nevertheless, the blonde struck pose after pose with her fellow group before walking off with them to meet up with Delilah. Raising a single brow at Delilah’s attire, she had never actually pictured her in something like that. Well everyone was filled with surprises tonight... ::

"Don’t you look like a little hussy tonight."

:: Giving Delilah a wink, she wasn’t much for complimenting people she somewhat despised. Dut in Delilah’s case, after all the help she had given not only Alexis, but the entire group, she might as well give her a playful insult. Hey...one step at a time. Turning on her heal, Lex began to follow Alison, Delilah, and Morgan (along with their guests) up to the VIP lounge. Looking over her shoulder at the massive crowd, now this was like old times. Smiling to herself, she turned back around, heading straight for the plush leather sofa. Sitting down, Alexis crossed her legs at the knee and sat back, watching as Madonna and Alycia were going at it with the champaign. Looking to Diddy, she nodded her head toward the other bottle in the bucket near him. Giving him a sexy smile, he chuckled reaching for the bottle of club soda. As he poured her a glass filled, she reached forward taking it from him. ::

"Thank you sweetheart."

:: Leaning back to her previous position, Alexis raised the glass to her lips, taking a small sip of the fizzing liquid. Looking around the VIP room, everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time...but as her eyes swept from person to person, she noticed Haleigh was missing. Lowering her brows, she leaned forward in Morgan’s direction. Raising her voice above the thumping music and chatter. ::

Haleigh heard the roar of the crowd... she figured Morgan and her posse had arrived, and undoubtedly with some other a list celebrities, as could be expected of the supermodel. But she kept her eyes on Frost, watching the woman cough on her drink. Haleigh smiled politely as Jas tried to pass off the choke, but Haleigh saw right through it. She had recognized Haleigh's name and it shocked her to hear it.... and as knowing was a feat in and of itself, Haleigh knew she was dealing with a more informed 'client'. Haleigh thought about the italian accent. the Mob? but she still couldn't place her face... Haleigh didnt comment on the 'she was my cousin' excuse... she wasnt sure if she bought that. Blaze had told her about all the family SHE knew about once before... and for her to leave the club to someone in a will and skip over Morgan... that story is just TOO full of holes. she needs to work on her lying.... Frost asked Haleigh to accompany her somewhere... and though she was almost SURE there was nobody she'd like to meet so URGENTLY... she could tell Frost wanted to get her away from the public and the possibilities of the reasons for that peaked her curiousity.

Haleigh, slightly buzzed by alcohol and letting her guard down as a result, was blindsided by Frost's sudden movements, and Frost managed to get a hold of her throat and demand answer before Haleigh caught up to what was happening. Anger and Surprise brought her down like a rock, and as the lights flashed and briefly went out [as Alexis slipped by the bouncer at the door], even though Frost was releasing her, Haleigh retaliated with a ferocity that was surprising, certainly not expected from such a beautiful woman with a disarming smile. Haleigh's right hand shot forwards, with machinelike speed, and grabbed a fistful of Frost's hair, and in her left hand she suddenly had a Walther P22, though where she had been keeping it was anyone's guess... And just like that, Frost found herself pinned down on the desk, Haleigh's body heat pouring over her like a just opened oven and the cold steel muzzle of a pistol pressed against her temple.

"If you EVER pull a stunt like that again, I'll REMOVE your hand from the rest of your body and send it to you later in the mail. Whatever you THINK you know, you'd better FORGET it. You're playing on a whole new field now, princess, even DADDY can't save you from ME. SECONDLY... WHY would you lie to me?? I HATE being lied to... I have KILLED liars in the past... and if i find you CONTINUE to lie to me... so help me God, Ill kill you too. I WILL find out if you are lying to me and WHEN i do... you can't even FATHOM the consequences."

Haleigh'd remembered where she saw Frost... and how they'd indirectly met. It was quite a few years ago, before everything with the Six, and the girl had definitely grown up since then. Haleigh released her iron grip on Frost but stood over her, giving her a look that made it QUITE clear it wouldn't be wise to try anything other than SLOWLY sitting up. Frost began to come clean about who she really was, and Haleigh began to lower her weapon.

"Well that answers a lot of questions... [Her voice relaxing] You look like her... a lot. I AM Haleigh Davidoff..... I just look a little... a LOT different. I would explain but even I find it difficult to believe."

** It was a false move made by the Assassin, letting her guard down to release the other woman. And in those precious seconds, Haleigh was able to forcefully yank Jasmine forward. Keeping her cool, she raised a brow up at the Metahuman. She was taking a count of how many seconds it took for Haleigh to lash out. This was of course a test for Haleigh, Jasmine had done her research and by the looks of it, this was Haleigh Davidoff. This powerful woman would be notorious for incredible hand to hand combat and heavy usage of weaponry. The notion of warm fingertips tightening on the ends of that shiny raven hair. Frost made no attempt to struggle, not because she was frightened or scared but because both women would be at a standoff. And since this was not the time or place, she walked backwards with Haleigh. The middle of her back hitting into the edge of the desk, knocking her backwards. Papers, pencils, and other stationary materials falling off and around the desk by the roughness and force used by Black Widow. For a second, the room fell silent. **

** Staring into those glassy irises, Jasmine could smell the scent of liquor on her comrades breath. "That gun you hold is useless against me." Wrapping her left ankle around the back of Haleigh's shin as her right arm moved to grasp the bicep. Rolling over, she had Haleigh down on the desk but with the P22's barrel pointing the mutant in the face. "Maybe by pulling that trigger you would be doing the world a favor but I won't go down until I take my enemies with me." A rush of warmth crawled its way inside Jasmine's body but she was quick to backpedal. Crossing her arms across her chest, she remained silent. The low lighting in the room allowed just enough light for both women to see each other. **

"You can threaten me all you want Haleigh, but it means nothing to me. I'm more than sure you can pull that trigger." Walking around the desk, she pulled the leather desk chair to sit down, crossing her legs at the knee. "I was not aware you were here, let alone this new constructive facial surgery you have gone through. The bottom line is, I had to be sure it was you. As an Operative, you would do the same, I read your file." Pulling open the drawer, she reached for a cigarette. Using a metallic lighter within her small black purse, she lite up. "I would ask if you want one, but if I recall your not an avid fan." Segments of smoke crawling from her glossy lips as the chilly air from the open window sucked out the nicotine. "If you will Haleigh." Motioning to the two large stainless steel chairs. "What I said about my relationship to Blaze is true. Even a blind man could sense the similarities within she and I. Except Blaze controlled fire, that dumb broad MORGAN Controlled wind, and I have water and ice." Sage green eyes shimmered and sparkled from her own raw anger. Jasmine couldn't even speak Morgan's name without a hint of disgust. Pulling a small black marble ashtray to her, she tapped a few ashes into it. "What brings you here? Your not exactly a socialite."

** Curiosity getting the better of Jasmine who sat cool and collected. "My apologies for man handling you." A small smirk running over her lips. "I am a fan of your work as is my father as you know. You were quick to catch on for the club, your quick study ethics help you in the field. I knew Morgan Victoria would be here...." More smoke filing around the enigma whose eyes were glowing in the dimmer lighting. "She killed Blaze...the sister I never knew...." Running a hand through her hair to brush back a few loose strands, she finished off her cigarette. Leaning back in the chair, her eyes targeting Haleigh again. It would be best for Frost to keep her emotions withdrawn, it would only make things complicated. She would have to be focused on this mission. Yes, this was a mission, not to harm Morgan but to get to know her better through covert behavior. Even the thought of befriending such a heartless killer turned Jasmine's stomach. **

:: Alexis’ eyes narrowing intensely as Alison stared blankly off into the distance, this only meant one thing...she was having a vision. Watching as the woman snapped out of it, as she stood from her seat and nodded for Alexis to come with her, she didn’t hesitate. Placing her drink aside, she smiled to the others calmly and stood from the sofa, following Alison into the hallway. ::

"What did you see?"

:: Immediately getting to the point, she watched as Alison turned around with great concern leaking from her cobalt eyes. Lowering her own brows, she listened as Alison explained that Haleigh was getting roughed around by a woman who looked like Blaze.....If Alison was taken aback at the woman’s resemblance to their late comrade, it must be uncanny. ::

"What...?"

:: Pausing for a moment, Alexis kept her voice low and turned her head to the side, looking over her shoulder at the VIP Lounge. Inhaling a deep breath, she turned back around to face Alison. Her sapphire eyes met up with the seers, nodding her head in the direction of the VIP room behind her. ::

"Okay...uhm--go back into the lounge. If Morgan sees your gone, she’ll think something is up. I’ll go check it out."

[ Delilah blushed as Alexis commented on her outfit. ]

"Oh - uh, a friend lent it to me."

[ She flashed a smile at the two men as shook took their hands each in turn. ]

"This is quite a party - Morgan didn't tell me she had found such atrractive scenery."

[She made her way after Morgan upstairs, and seated herself on one of the couches as she watched the steadily moving crowd. ]

<<shifting abit as she lay across the chaise lounge...Boris Kodjoe sat along side Morgan, feeding her grapes and taking a moment to subtely feel on her amplr bosom. the two models seemed to relate quiet easily with one another. Morgan purred as her icy violet eyes sparkled while looking up at Boris and he smirked and growled as he winked>>

<< for a moment...the sorceress was truly enjoying herself. in the presence of close friends, and powerfull celebrity friends. in the club that belonged to her Sister that was now under her watch..or so she tought....and for once, there was no need to be SPELLBINDER>>

<< yes...this was a night for beauty, glamor and excess and it showed>>

<< looking over a bit at Delilah, Morgan showed an unabashed joy as she winked at her dear friend>>

DELILAH....<<her icy voice was bolstered a bit>>

why are you just sitting there? shall we find you a date to play with while we enjoy the company of our elite friends in the suite?

<< she winked. it had been a LONG time since she and delilah had partied together like the days of old when they were younger. but clearly both women had changed. but even now as all seemed to be calm and under control, Delilah didnt partake in too much of the reckless abandon and glamorous excess around her. Morgan thought nothing of Alexis and Alison excusing themselves...as they seemed to leave casually enough. probably to go to the parlour room. at anyrate she was glad to see them getting on so well.>>

[ Delilah laughed at her friend's subtle hint that she was being a stick in the mud. It was hard for her to get over the fact that the whole NERVOUS mission was really over. She stood up, finished her drink, and set the glass down. Moving into the crowd of dancers she turned back to Morgan. ]

"No I think I'd like to shop around a bit first."

::Alison returned to the vip suite..adjusting her dress a bit as she licked her shimmery glossed lips as she strutted back over to the leather sectional and seated herself again..sliding next to Diddy as he put his arm around her::

well, looks as though Morgan is having a nice time with Boris there. if ever there was a couple made for one another...its THEM.

:: she smirked as she ran her finger over Diddy's ear...which was adorned with a large diamond earing. waving at Delilah as she decided to move down stairs and dance in the crowd...no doubt Delilah would HYPE the crowd using her own powers over light to enhance their emotions of pleasure and joy..by enchancing the already spectacular light show. Alison was glad to see Delilah back in the fold...with times as dangers as they were...The Six needed all the allies they could get.::

::Alycia was enjoying her cristal champaign, as she sat further down on the deep seated leather sectional....across from Madonna but still within earshot of Alison and Diddy. mmmmmmmmm

I gotta say, Morgan picked an EXCELLENT time to open the doors of XS again. It was no problem for me to facilitate bringing the building back up to code and securing all the proper permits for her. I know how important it was to her to keep this place going in the name of Blaze.

:: Walking down the vacant hallway toward a room where she heard voices, Alexis narrowed her eyes hearing Haleigh’s voice, then an unfamiliar voice...most obviously this Blaze look alike. Stopping short, she listened for a moment before knocked roughly against the closed wooden door. ::

"Haleigh. Open up, it’s Alexis."

:: Being direct and to the point, from what Alexis explained to her, Haleigh was either getting roughed up (which was unlikely unless she was drunk), or getting into a fight with this woman. She wasn’t about to stand around and politely ask to come in. Knocking her knuckles against the door again, Alexis kept close to it trying to hear anything of interest from their conversation.::

"I need to talk to you now. Open the damn door."

:: Stepping back, Alexis let out a huff wiggling her fingers a bit. She was so tempted to burst in through that door, but there didn’t seem to be any struggle going on within the room from the sound of it....unless. No, no, Haleigh knew how to take care of herself. She was a smart and tough woman. Parting her lips with her tongue, she pressed them together brushing her bangs away from her eyes. Deciding to give her a couple more seconds to answer her, Alexis crossed her arms along her chest, allowing her weight to rest on one leg. ::

Haleigh was slightly impressed that Frost could counter pin so easily, but she didn't let it show. Jas was slippery and nearly as fast as Haleigh was.... and she was awfully bold... a trait that would either get her far... or it would get her killed. Luckily, Haleigh found herself approving of Blaze's sister. She sat up on the desk and lowered her weapon... there was no reason to shoot Frost as of yet... and Haleigh was intrigued by the mutant. Haleigh noticed immediately that Frost kept backing away from her, and she listened to Jas speak to see if she'd reveal why. Haleigh remained perched on the desk as jas took a seat and lit a cigarette. Haleigh had no trouble at all seeing in this light, as her green eyes slightly reflecting as if a cat's at night, giving her a very eerie appearance. She listened patiently to Frost. So the woman had powers... Haleigh had guessed so, as BOTH her siblings had, its usually something that runs in the family. An affinity for ice, eh? Explained why Frost kept her distance... Haleigh's abnormally high body temperatures must be having an adverse affect of Frost... haleigh declined the offered to sit in the metal chairs, still sitting on the edge of the desk, facing Frost. Haleigh rose from her spot once Frost finished revealing her powers, a smirk on her face. She walked around the desk and quickly neared Jas once more, placing a hand on each of the armrests of the leather chair, trapping Frost in the chair. Haleigh bet down so that their faces where level. Remarkably, as she spoke, Frost would discover her breath no longer smelled of alcohol... she had systematically PURGED it from her body out of need for clarity of mind. It was one of the great things about being part technological marvel... she could CONSCIOUSLY control her bodily systems.

"I COULD pull the trigger... OR... I could raise the iron in your blood to toxic levels and watch you suffer an agonizing fate, and then STOP when I was sure you'd be a vegetable the rest of your natural life... or... just to keep you in check... I could lean close to you like this..." She leans into Frost so much that their cheeks touched as Haleigh whispered into Jasmine's ear, breath so hot it felt like steam down the side of her neck. "Because it seems to be making you very uncomfortable..."

Haleigh pulled back, leaning onto the desk again for a seat, plucking the cigarette from Jasmine's hand and scolding her.

"This is VERY bad for you. It's like death wrapped up into a neat little marketable package." She put it out using the desk deliberately instead of the ashtray, leaving a burn mark as she continued to reply. "And you recall correctly. I don't smoke anymore... I dont want to ruin this body with nicotine and tar and all the other nasty shit they put into those things."

Haleigh was sensing a little animosity towards Morgan from Frost and strangely, she felt a little protective of Morgan. She liked Jasmine, but still felt like she was hiding something... "I said it before and I'll say it again... Whatever you THINK you know... you don't. things are not always what they seem to be... ESPECIALLY things involving people like me, Morgan Victoria, and our colleagues. Morgan did kill blaze... and she must live with it for the rest of her life.... and it is a punishment more severe than ANYTHING you could level on her." Haleigh paused, turning her head, listening, holding her hand up to silence Jasmine. "Shh... someone's listening at the door." It was Alexis. Haleigh weighed her options... she could cut this short right here and turn Jasmine over to the rest of the Six, or she could let things unfold as they might... She took a deep breath, lowering her voice slightly. She wasn't sure how well alexis could hear them, but she rasped quick instructions to Jasmine, her voice just above a whisper before standing to go open the door.

"Do NOT speak unless spoken to. Do NOT move from this spot and for Christ's sake, do NOT try anything cute. i don't know how capable you are of following directions but consider this.... if you BLOW it, I WONT help you."

Haleigh left from her spot, walking determindly over to the door and grabbing the handle. The ice that was holding it locked shut melted on contact with her skin, and steam could be seen escaping around her hand as she twisted the knob and opened to door. Her whole demeanor seemed to change... it was now as if she hadn't a care in the world... and it was VERY convincing... Haleigh offered a charming smile and smoothed her free hand down the front of her white dress. A few strands of blond hair had fallen from her updo but she still looked presentable, and her voice was light and relaxed.

"Alexis... what's so pressing?"

** It was almost like a tropical storm brewing between the clashing temperatures of cold and hot, both battling for supremacy. Yes, it was true, Frost hated warmth and any feeling that went into it. The Assassin was alert to any sudden movements the Metamorph made including a change in degree of her eyes but Jasmine sat casually like nothing happened between the two. Her eyes stalking the lovely blonde as she prowled near the wintery mutant. A low sigh escaping her lips at the intrusion of a small warmth encompassing her body. Just like she was standing near a fiery bon fire, she felt the intensity of heat and she disliked it. Silver white frost rolled off her own body to greet the steam which rose from Haleigh. Her eyes flickering to a hunter green now, noticing Haleigh inching her way closer like a panther about to pounce. Jasmine's face stoic but on the contrary, internally she was amused by how bold this blonde was. Could it be that Haleigh was like a mouse, toying with her prey? Or was Jasmine playing "dead?" Either way, she listened to the calm voice as the Metahuman spoke to her. **

"You could do all of the above, but we both know that's boring. In our line of work we sore for adventure, an adrenaline rush. You could incapacitate me no doubt, although I'm not sure about that iron count threat....we'll have to experiment on that sometime. With your skill and my marksmanship we could kill the other, wouldn't that be fun? But, I don't want you dead....your one of the few I respect in this fucked up world."

** She sucked in a cool breath as Haleigh grew closer. Rolling her eyes, Jasmine wasn't amused by this closeness but she tolerated it. She had plans for Haleigh, truth be she needed her as a business partner and maybe even to assassinate Morgan. Wouldn't that be ironic? Hals and Morg worked out their little fiasco and now another wedge could possibly come between them. "Your body heat just frustrates me if anything like it would you..." Leaning in to Hal's ear, she softly blew icy cold air against her ear. In that small dose of time, the cold vanished but Frost knew Black Widow felt it, chilling her abnormal temperature. Leaning into the chair, she relaxed again with some distance parted. Her lips morphing into a smile. **

"Yes, they do kill but candy kills nowadays too. Besides, why pass up on the simple pleasures in life?" She didn't seem bothered Haleigh put out her cigarette or even left a small black burnmark. "If it bothered you that much, you could have said something." Her smile vanishing from her sarcasm. **

"I don't care about Morgan...nobody kills family...and when you do the favor is returned. You defend her...yet Blaze was your friend and comrade. Who you befriend is your business but Morgan is my business." Her head turned towards the door, spotting the chilled ice trapped over the handle, "what do you suppose we do my dear?" Turning in her chair to face the desk. Who would bother them? The party was outside of the office, not in here. Either way, Frost didn't care. Waving her hand in the air to signal she would follow Haleigh's directions. Brushing a few strands of hair back, she studied Haleigh's body language. She was good...but being trained to recognize false behavior, Jasmine picked it right off but would Alexis? **

** As Haleigh melted away the ice, droplets of water fell to the floor around her shoes. A small creek escaped the old wooden door, announcing the presence of Alexis who stood outside. Jasmine recognized the face right away but she kept any suspicions hidden. Perhaps this was Haleigh's lover? You never knew these days. Picking up her pack of cigarettes, Jasmine tossed them in the black trashcan underneath her desk. I guess she should sit there and look pretty. It was Haleigh's move, another game of chess. But whose Queen would she capture? And who were her loyalties too? Jasmine had an inkling of who and it wasn't herself. **

:: Narrowing her eyes instantly as Haleigh opened the door, she shifted her glance away from Hales and to the woman sitting behind the desk. Alison was right, she looked almost identical to Blaze...Studying her for a few moments, without any hint of emotions, Alexis swept her eyes back to Haleigh. If she thought she was hiding the fact that something did happen in this room, she was wrong. Regardless of the fact that Alison told her flat out there was something going down between these two, Haleigh’s abnormally cool demeanor gave it away. Parting her lips, Alexis tilted her head to the side, holding it in that position. ::

"I think you know what."

:: Glancing back to Frost, she glared at the woman as if she were beneath her. The unknown face sat smugly watching the two woman talk. Most likely trying to get a hint of exactly who Alexis was. Looking back to Haleigh, she took her by the wrist, pulling her out into the hallway. Glancing back over her shoulder, Alexis smirked condescendingly to Jasmin. ::

"Excuse us."

:: Pulling the door shut, Alexis turned to Haleigh, immediately lowering her brows. Trying to play the dumb blonde card now wasn’t going to work. ::

"Don’t play dumb with me, Haleigh. Alison had a vision. What the hell was going on in there. And who is that?"

:: Gesturing to the closed door, Alexis kept her voice to a low whisper, just incase Frost decided to eavesdrop. Narrowing her eyes, Alexis crossed her arms along her chest, shifting her weight to one leg. She wasn’t going anywhere anytime soon, if Haleigh thought otherwise. ::

Hmmm, she stares at me like I were a ghost...she must have known Blaze. Judging by that wicked glare she was close too. Her thoughts running through her head like she was carrying on a conversation. Her green eyes locked onto Alexis, who supplied her with daggers. Not even a remark was given to Shockwave, instead she remained stoic. So, this broad wanted to play dirty looks? Oooohh, Frost waved it away, the little bitch could but if she antagonized well she'd have Alexis thrown out and make the scene humiliating. Standing from her chair to regain her tiny five foot eight height, dusting off her dress. **

"Of course..."

** Walking around the desk, her pumps clicking on the marble flooring to travel by the spacious balcony. Opening the doors, she walked outside to stand. A stronger wind blew trinkets of midnight locks. Her green eyes eyed the streets below with interest. Several more limo's piling up to deposit celebrities. Spotting Paris Hilton walking forward, she laughed coldly. "I don't think so...not in my club." Reaching inside her purse, she pulled an earbud out to connect with the bodyguards outside, "do not allow Hilton on the premises and if she refuses....you know what to do." Taking the bud out, she glanced up to see small white flakes falling on the busy city. Pulling out a small cell phone, she opened it to see Alexis and Haleigh talking. "Pesky little ant." The small hidden camera in the corner zoomed in on Alexis, "what do you want little bird...go back to your nest." She commented with how insistent Alex was with Hal's. Noticing a crack in her nails she frowned, probably from Haleigh. She certainty was a hands on type of woman, and Jas wasn't sure if that was good or bad. Stuffing the ear piece inside her purse, she returned to the office. **

** Sitting down on the keyboard, she typed away as the screen was showing Morgan, Alison, Diddy, etc. Her eyes darkened to see Delilah, "oh my..." Her anger boiling inside that cold body of hers. She followed Delilah's passage from the VIP to the dance floor. "Won't be difficult to pinpoint her in that outfit." What was that cop doing here? Of course, Morgan Victoria. Opening her hand an ice badge appeared resembling something similar to what Del carried. Shutting her fist, it shattered in those icy hands. The place was crawling with nuisance! Tapping the backspace key, the screen turned to Alexis and Haleigh. She peered at the screen. Haleigh would need to hurry with her glorious plan. Maybe Jasmine should pay a visit to Del. But that would blow it, it would have to wait. No, she couldn't risk shooting the cop, it would be bad publicity on her club. Maybe after she left? Perched in her chair, she sat planning and scheming. **

Diddy is the master of ceremony and Madonna will join him on stage....it all culminates in Morgan addressing everyone and announcing that the club has been RE OPENED in honor of Blaze and that all proceeds from this evening as well as large amounts of "donations" from various sponsors will be given to Blaze's favorite charity and social causes.

Haleigh didnt have time to respond to anything Frost had said as Alexis pulled her out of the room. Haleigh went along without a fight but turned to make a stand as soon as the door was shut. Her voice was NOT a whisper, in fact, it was a little LOUD and defensive and obviously sarcastic. Truth be told, without consciously trying, the two DID sound like a pair of lovers, what with Alexis' tone and the choice of words the two women were using... it could be construed that way easily.

"Oh, we were just HAVING SEX in there! Honestly, what do you THINK was going on Alexis?!"

Haleigh lowered her voice as well as she took Alexis by the elbow witha grip like a vise and escorted her roughly down the hall back towards the club noise.

"I don't KNOW who she is. I've been trying to find out but she seems a little squirelly and she keeps giving me a new story every five minutes. Just go back to your party... I'll smoothe things over here and try to get to the bottom of this. ** Daydreaming for a few seconds, Jas snapped out of it. Shaking her head she flicked back to the VIP lounge, investigating or rather probing the posse here. Focusing on Alison, she squinted her eyes. Alison Marble...beautiful, intelligent, but something about her is unnerving. Perhaps she was too zealous with Morgan and Delilah. She had to recoil these plans for now, maybe set a minor reprieve. Did she really detest these strangers or did her fathers manipulation work? She was still kept in secret and it peeved her. **

Let's check on Alexis....

** Her computer hummed a bit with a light music echoing in her office from the club's bass booming sound system. Clicking on the minimized window to pull up Alexis and Haleigh, overhearing the sex comment. She cringed at it, That's a rather unpleasant thought let alone imagery. She thought. Exiting all windows, she shut the computer down. Standing up, she was feeling anxious now. She was the owner of the club, perhaps she should mingle? What if she gave into her enemies? Put on a facade? It would work but that meant befriending Morgan and her gang. A plan B if needed but one she'd rather side step. She was still intrigued by Alison but why? Jasmine felt intimated by her...that stern voice. Shuddering she would need to do more research than walk into this blind sided. It meant killing a few more bystanders, but it was a days work. **

** She had each members file from old resources but one who she didn't have power wise was Morgan, Alison, and Delilah. She pass it off for now and regroup back in the party. Turning at the waist, she turned and headed out of the office. Shadows intertwined as bits of ice lined the hallway seeing Alexis and Haleigh. Turning her neck, Jasmine locked eyes with Haleigh. Turning ahead she side stepped Alexis without any harassment or even a look. **

** It was time for a drink. Moving through the frenzied crowd she stopped off to the side. The scene reminded her of Madonna's Ray of Light video. And in return Jasmine lost her walls to break into a full bright smile, revealing her dimples on each cheek. She was the prototype of Blaze Fielding and anyone in that crowd could see it. Along with a frigid chill traveling along the dance floor. Her smile faded when she nodded to the bartender. "Long Island iced tea, please." Her eyes staring off in space, thinking of her deceased sibling. Blaze is gone....I wish I knew her...more than a face with a name. She scoffed at how ridiculous her thoughts were. No emotion would be forbidden. Her long shiny white fingertips grasped the long tall glass enjoying the burning sensation. Shutting her eyes to clear her disturbed mind. Nursing her drink she turned to stare at Morgan until stopping on Alison. Cute, the group seemed to circle around Delilah like adult elephants did when protecting an infant. Understand Jasmine was almost impossible unless you were a psychologist. Stepping onto the bar step to sit. "Fuck it." Chugging more of her drink without a second thought. The alcohol warming her icy interior. There would be other nights to pick them off one by one. **

::Alexis and Haleigh were together, and Jasmine was WATCHING everyone! Alison could easily just BLINK in front of Jasmine and BLOW HER UP..EXPUNGE HER UTTERLY as she did several of Haleigh's soldiers nearly a year ago when they first locked horns. But she knew that would have ill effects. As much as she wanted to STOP what was coming, she knew she had to LET IT happen. But she would be damned if she would allow Delilah, Alexis or anyone else on the team to be manipulated. It had happened before......courtesy of her own mother, Kelly King, and with the help of Kelly's manipulations among other things..., Morgan was pushed over the edge and nearly destroyed the city....and Blaze lost her life.::

:: the team was so vulnerable and on fragile ground. and although they were much further along now. it seemed they were never allowed to enjoy happiness for long UNLESS they were in Limbo. Alexis didnt even have the chance to respond, as Jasmine seemed to be unable to sit still for very long. Haleigh locked eyes with her and watched her disappear around the corner. Haleigh turned to Alexis, releasing her elbow.

"SHIT, now look... there she goes... this could be problematic... just go back to alison and the gang... I'll take care of her... warn Alison that we will be in my booth... and visiting us there wouldn't be wisest. DONT argue with me, okay, just do it... for Morgan's sake. tonight is supposed to be for Blaze... and i can take care of myself."

Haleigh didnt give Alexis the chance to respond, as she disappeared like a shadow around the corner, slipping into the crowd like a predatory tiger slipping through the savannah grass. She had a lock on Jasmine's position at the bar and she made a point to ease up to her. No doubt Jas would be able to sense the abnormally high temperature gravitating towards her. Haleigh slipped past a couple dancing close and finally closed in on Jasmine. She casually sat on the barstool next to him and looked out over the crowd as she spoke, her eyes locking on Morgan and Alison. Well well, werent they dressed to impress?

"Look... I dont really know much about you.... and I dont know what you care about or what your motivations are... but it seems to me that you feel Blaze's death should be avenged. I'm not going to stop you from doing what you feel is right unless it conflicts with what I feel is right.... You probably know Ive been in this business a LONG time... and listening to anything i have to say would be in your best interest. I JUST think i should impart a little hard earned wisdom. Rome wasnt built in a day... and nor did it fall in one. something like that takes much planning, and great patience. Whatever you hope to accomplish tonight by confronting those people out there right now... I think it will be disappointing... and I should know, I've been dealing with them for some time now. Why dont you just take it easy. Come with me... I've got a secluded VIP booth.... we can have another drink together... talk things over. Surely you must have questions for me?"

everything she said was so true... and seemed obvious now that she'd said it. Frost could see Haleigh was trying to help... though why was still a little unclear... and there was SO MUCH frost could learn from Haleigh's past experiences that haleigh's offer to talk would be MORE than enticing. but would she bite? Haleigh tried one final card to tip the scales in her favor.... in EVERYONE'S favor, really.

"Hey... tonights reopening of the club... its big news. Its in all the papers and will be tomorrow as well... the whole thing is being thrown is Blaze's honor.... do you want BAR BRAWLS and death to be associated with her memory?? If you stay out here in the open... thats exactly what will happen."

:: Eyes widening at the sex comment, one of Alexis' eyebrows rose giving her an amused expression. Oh yes, that's exactly what she thought was going on in there. Rolling her eyes as she shook her head, she glanced to the closed office door allowing Haleigh to speak. But before she could even respond and protest Haleigh keeping her out of the loop about this woman, Frost walked by them. Watching her closely until she disappeared from sight, Alexis turned back to Haleigh huffing. As she too walked away, Alexis brought her head back against the wall, banging it gently emphasizing her annoyance. But just as Alexis was about to head back to the VIP room to explain to Alison that she gained no information, a small smirk appeared on the metahumans lips. ::

"Well if you won't tell me....I'll find out myself."

:: Pushing herself off the wall, Alexis sashayed her way down the hallway to Ms. Klien's office. Placing her hand on the handle, she jiggled it once noting that it was locked. Turning her head, she glanced over her shoulders to see if anyone was near by...and with that, Alexis took a step back, thrusting her hand forward as two bolts of energy went flying from her palm and into the door handle, immediately blowing the entire handle off. As the door creaked open, Alexis pushed her way into the dark office, walking over to Frost's desk. ::

"Alright...lets see who you really are..."

:: She stated quietly to herself. Sitting down behind the computer, she ran her hand along the mouse causing the screen to flash on. Scowling at the passcode needed to activate the computer, Alexis inhaled a deep breath as she sat back in frustration. Haleigh was the computer wiz...so this left the metahuman at a dead end.::

"Shit..."

:: Looking down at the desk, Alexis sat up while lowering her brows....now this woman wouldn't be so stupid to leave vital information just laying around her office, now would she? Pulling open a drawer, Alexis shuffled through it seeing nothing of interest. Closing that one, she proceeded to open another, and then another, finding nothing useful. Finally reaching the last drawer, Alexis tried to pull it open, but of course, it was locked. ::

"Ah ha.."

:: Pulling open one of the previous drawers she looked in, Alexis withdrew two paper clips. Unfolding them, she stuck an end of each paper clip into the lock, fiddling with it. After a few moments, Alexis smiled as was able to turn the lock to the side, successfully opening the drawer. ::

"Thank you Haleigh."

:: Tossing the clips onto the desk, Haleigh taught her a few tricks, "in case of an emergency". Picking locks was one of them...with the necessary tools of course. Pulling the drawer open, finally, she hit the jackpot. Pulling out a manila folder, she placed it on the desk, opening it. The entire folder was filled with information of Delilah. Her powers, her history, birth date...lowering her eyes, she grabbed another manila folder, placing it on top of Delilah's. Opening that one, it was information of Haleigh. Grabbing the last, she opened it immediately, seeing it was her information as well. ::

"Who the hell are you....."

:: Closing each folder, she placed them back into the drawer and shut it. Standing from the desk, Alexis made her way out of the officer, shutting the door behind her. With a wave of her hand, and a flashing white light, Alexis glamoured the door handle back into place making it look as good as new. Walking quickly down the hallway, she emerged into the large club looking around for Alison....her eyes scanned from person to person until finally, a woman in a very provocative looking outfit caught her attention. Stepping down the stairs, she pushed and shoved her way through guests until finally, she met up with Alison. Grabbing a hold of her arm, Alexis smiled to the others while tilting her head a bit to the side. ::

"I need to borrow Alison...this handsome man by the bar just won't keep his eyes off her legs."

:: Letting out a small laugh, she pulled Alison away, her face becoming serious once again. As they made their way to the bar, Alexis stopped short seeing Frost in the distance. ::

"Haleigh had nothing on her, so when they left, I went into her office and found files. She has information on Delilah, Haleigh, and myself. Our powers, biographies, history, acquaintances. Everything. Alison, I don't know who this woman is, but she knows an awful lot about us...."

** Deep in thought, Jasmine seemed emotionless while sitting at the bar. Her long island iced tea nearly gone and she was heavily feeling it. Caressing her forehead, she blinked her eyes to get a hold of her when she stopped. She smirked smelling the scent of Haleigh's perfume, "hello Hals...due sit down." She spun around on the stool to see the Metamorph, "knew it was you...that perfume of yours..gives you away." Resting her palm across her chin, she sighed heavily. "You can save the monologue my dear, I won't be doing anything rash tonight. Delilah's powers alone could crush me not to mention your friend Alexis'. Besides, there's too many witnesses and I'm well aware of my sister!" She slammed her fist down onto the bar top, pulling it back. "She's a Murderer...sure she LIVES with guilt but does she look miserable now?! Why was this whole FUCKING team not saving my sister! She's a Fielding for Christ sake.." A low growl escaping her throat, the subject was touchy for Frost. She was angry because she was losing her cool, mainly from the alcohol. Standing up, she reached out for Haleigh's hand, but it wasn't fake or phony. "I'm sorry....all I can think about is her...Morgan. My father told me what happened.." Retracing her hand, which was abnormally warm due to the high content alcohol. Beads of sweat forming across her forehead. **

"I'm not thinking clearly and I'm babbling on like a trainwreck. I'll take you up on your invitation."

** Suddenly a cell phone beeping was heard, "excuse me.." Opening her purse, she placed the ear bud in her ear. A man's voice was recognizable in the background. "I see...how much did she see? And where is she now? Kill her! I don't care, her friend too!" The man was referring to Alexis who had broken into Jasmine's office. The sensors in the room were temperature sensitive plus touch, which gave away Shockwave's position plus the lock on her drawer. Several guards heavily armed were on their way to see Alexis and Alison (you two can play the guards as you like). Tossing the ear bud into her purse, she glared at Haleigh, "your friends aren't very wise....snooping into my business.." Was all she said as she straightened up. "Let's go." She reached around Haleigh's arm as they made their way to her smooth. An icy look in her eyes that read pissed off. **

** Sitting down on the booth, she was raging now. "We both know their really "not" your friends at all. Sure you have a couple of good times but have they really been there for you, well Cameron has. But your love for him blinds you...." Drinking a large glass of water to dehydrate her system, she glanced up, "I know a lot about you guys..just as you did before you joined the Six. Can you honestly say you care about Morgan? Is she worth protecting? She's one powerful bitch with a little research she can be brought down." She stopped when her device rang, "yes? The blonde is weak with hand to hand, tire her out and don't use powers...she'll steal them. The brunette I have no idea, but keep your distance. I'm pretty sure you'll be screwed." She hung it up and returned to Haleigh, "your friends are meddling in my business...especially Alexis. I've seen to it they be taken care of...but don't worry they'll live...Alison is there." Her eyes looking up, "I can't promise I won't try to kill Morgan, I'd be lying. I will try but I DO have questions for you." She pushed the half empty water glass away, "why are you sitting here and listening to this....I wanna know why you didn't pull that trigger, tell me why YOU care. And don't lie to me because I detest liars just as much as you do." **

:: As both Alison and Alexis stood by the bar, she watched as Haleigh and Jasmine left, proceeding to a booth. Narrowing her eyes, she knew Haleigh could take care of herself, but the fact that this woman knew about Haleigh’s powers gave her a slight upper hand. Especially if Haleigh wasn’t aware of fact Jasmine in fact knew that she was a mutant. Before she was able to say anything to Alison, the crowd around her seemed to grow in intensity. Feeling herself being jerked away from the precog, the grasp on her forearm was strong and relentless. ::

"Whoa!....Alison?!"

:: Struggling to get her arm free, she noticed it was one of the bouncers of the club. Turning back, she couldn’t even see Alison anymore because of the massive amount of people; which meant, most likely, Alison lost track of her as well. Turning her head once more to the bouncer, Alexis began to jerk her arm back trying to get out of his grasp. ::

"What the fuck is wrong with you! Let go of me! Do you NOT know who I am!? I’ll have your damn job for this....You won’t be able to work security for Chucky Cheese when I’m through with you!!"

:: Being drug into one of the back rooms, the man pushed her inside and shut the door. Grunting, Alexis brushed the spot of her arm that he was holding her off. Turning to face him, she growled with contempt wanting to know exactly what the hell his deal was. But as he shut the door, Alexis knew something wasn’t right....Turning, she noticed three other men standing behind her. Dammit, that woman must of had security cameras or something in that room...Gripping her hands into fists, she smiled to the nice gentlemen lifting a finger up. ::

"Whatever she’s paying you to do this, I’ll double it if you let me leave now."

:: Speaking to them as if they were children, Alexis raised a single brow as they took a few steps forward, ignoring her offer. Okay, money was not an option for them. What kind of right minded people were they? ::

"You don’t want to mess with me....trust me. It’s not worth it."

:: Feeling the man that drug her into this room grab her from behind, Alexis began to struggle as the three men made their way closer to her. Sighing, she really didn’t want to get into a fight tonight. I mean really? Can’t she simply go out to a club and enjoy herself without resulting to killing people. As the man holding her pinned her arms to the side, Alexis grasped both hands to his thighs, sending a mass amount of electricity throughout his body. His body began to shake and convulse until finally he couldn’t help but let her go. The three other men, obviously not shocked by her powers, sprung into action. Lifting her hand up, she sent two energy balls flying into one of the mens chest, while quickly side stepping another man, trying to avoid his grasp. As she back peddled away, she backed right into the third mans arms, not even seeing him stealthily manoeuver behind her. Startled, Alexis jumped struggling to get free from his grasp. As he pulled her around, doing a 180, he slammed her up against the wall with a loud thud. Grunting at the impact, Alexis swung her head back, slamming it into the nose of the man pinning her against the wall. Okay...bad..very bad idea. Instantly getting dizzy, she lifted her hand up to her forehead closing her eyes as she pushed past the guard painfully holding his nose. But as she opened her eyes, Alexis met the end of a rifle, the butt of the gun flying swiftly into cheek. Collapsing to the ground in a heap, Alexis could taste the blood trickling from the corner of her lips. Placing her palm flat on the ground, she lifted her head up seeing the man who hit her pointing the barrel at her face. With wide eyes, she swept her glance up to the grinning man before looking down at his trigger finger, seeing it slowly pull back. With a quick squint of her eyes, the gun began to glow a brilliant white, taking the man by surprise. With a blinding flash, the man took a step back, looking down to his rifle. Seeing it was still in tact, he grinned as he took aim right at Alexis’ forehead. Pushing herself up, she watched as he pulled the trigger. With a clicking noise, a little flag popped out of the barrel of the gun with the word "bang" on it. Letting out a small laugh, the metahuman waved her hand ala Prue, sending a massive energy wave at him, knocking him square into the wall behind him. ::

"I’m going to kill your boss. And I’m going to make it fucking hurt..."

:: Wiping the blood from her lip, Alexis huffed feeling the pain in her jaw increase. Okay, she really didn’t want her face to match her outfit, so this whole situation was really starting to piss her off. ::

::As Alison enjoyed herself, she felt Alexis approaching. Soon the metahuman was there and needed a word with her. as the others laughed at Alexis' joke about the bartender drooling over Alison's legs [that dress WAS provocative indeed] Alison informed Morgan and the others she would return shortly and went over with Alexis::

:: pushing some hair back from her sleek, bone straight chinese bob, Alison listened intently and IMMEDIATELY began to "see" what Alexis had done...::

It is as i predicted....Jasmine brings a seed of great trouble.....she must be DEALT WITH!

::Before Alison could finish, she found herself being jostled by large, well armed men who yanked Alexis away. As she stepped forward...one of them blocked her way::

OUT OF MY WAY you big LUMMOX!

:: pointing at the man...he found HIMSELF being shoved aside by a HEARTY telekinetic push as he fell on the floor and slid...he was quickly surrounded by dancers and patrons and would find himself TRAMPLED if he didnt recover. but Alison didnt care. with no one really watching her...shes BLINKED from where she was into the office...just in time. Alexis was being overwhelmed::

HEY!

::the guards turned and open fired...but Alison had already blinked from one spot to another::

now..its MY TURN!

:: thrusting her hands forward like Piper, Guardian BLOWS THE MEN UP...their screams echo as the explosions flame out and nothing remains but piles of ashes::

:: Helping alexis off the ground.::

Haleigh is talking to this woman. the psychological factor of Jasmine's resemblance to Blaze is getting to her. and something ELSE that i See....Jasmine...has STOLEN the deed to this club. she strong armed the manager/accountant and he sold it under the table to her BEFORE Alycia had finished executing the will! this deal of course wont stand in court..but she did this JUST to have a way to get to Morgan. Morgan and Alycia dont realize that at this moment, Jasmine has assumed ownership of the club and those guards as you know are some of her henchman.

::turning to see a camera in a corner of the office....alison flings her hand up and toward it and blows it up violently. destroying any source of visual in that room::

well thats ONE less place she'll be able to pry. Now.....we've only got a few hours left....we've got to try to keep things running smoothly for Morgan's sake.Otherwise there WILL be a bloodbath here.

"Oh, SHE'S a murderer, is she? What about YOU? You know an AWFUL lot about us... just how many people did YOU kill to get to us? How many SISTERS and BROTHERS and sons and daughters? this whole FUCKING team was doing the best they could to just SURVIVE the ordeal that killed Blaze. Things just happened too quickly. Your sister and I... we were just in the wrong place at the wrong time."

Haleigh paused as a waitress approached them, and she settled into the booth and took a deep breath. She had been tensing up slowing and defensively. Talking about Blaze and what happened what more painful than she'd realized. Haleigh politely order a Sea Breeze and waited for the woman to leave again.

"Your FATHER told you? I hate to break it to you Princess, but your father is a LYING, LOW LEVEL CRIMINAL, Who THINKS he is more powerful and more important than he really is. He couldn't POSSIBLY know what REALLY happened to Blaze, no matter HOW savvy his contacts are."

Haleigh leaned back, her eyes leveling on Blaze, with a frown of disappointment, shaking her head. She thanked the waitress for her drink and scolded Jasmine. She didnt CARE how pissed of the woman was.

"Yes, well, you arent being very wise right now EITHER... you REALLY need to learn to pick your battles. My FRIENDS are just trying to find out WHO you are. You say you care about your sister... tonight's party is in her honor and you know that, but here you are trying to SHED BLOOD in the midst of it all... here you are trying to provoke catastrophe. do you WANT to die tonight?? Is that what you want? Because at this rate, thats EXACTLY what youre going to get."

After jasmine finished with the phone the SECOND time Haleigh fried the cell so it wouldn't work. "i HATE being interrupted." She swirled the ice in her drink around a bit. She thought about Jas' questions. DID she care about them that much? To be as protective as she was being, even at the expense of herself and her reputation? She didnt comment about her love [or her current relationship] with Cameron... That was too personal a subject for her. She looked up from her glass, locking eyes with Frost.

"I was once a person who cared a great deal about my friends, and would do anything to keep them safe. In recent years I have hidden that part of me away... but losing Blaze has taught me how foolish that really was. I can HONESTLY say that I care about ALL of them. That is to say... I just met the Cop... so not counting her. I respect her.... she pulls her weight. But I truly care about Morgan, Alison, Alexis and Cameron. They ARE worth protecting, at ALL costs. and its not about whether they feel the same way, or any of that... we have been through so much.. you couldnt understand. You can TRY to kill Morgan.... but it will have to be over my dead body... and I must warn you... killing me is quite a task to accomplish. I mean to say... you MIGHT kill me... but making it stick is a challenge."

She winked... it would go over Jasmine's head, it was an inside joke. Haleigh sipped her drink some more and furrowed her brow, trying to decide how to answer that last question. She took a deep, slow breath, and stared down into her drink as if it held the answer to all HER questions.

"Your sister... was one of the greatest people I've ever met. She just... accepted me... with all my flaws, as terrible a wreck of a person that I am, that I was when I met her. With no obligations, she accepted me. DESPITE the fact that Morgan TRIED to discourage her from me.... and for that alone, I'll love her till the day I die, and probably long after that. If only I was THERE, when she fell... I would have given my life for hers... and things would be now the way they SHOULD be. and she would still be alive... but shes not... and every time I look up at you, I see her... and it kills me to know I lost her because I was petty, and vindictive, and stubborn. You see... it may have been Morgan in the end... but we ALL did our parts to provoke the chain of events that took Blaze from us. Even Alison couldn't stop it, with all her power. This is the cross I bear.... I let her down... and that's why I didnt pull the trigger, when normally I would have. I want to HELP you.... I owe it to her, to save you from the fate that you seem to be DYING to share with her... you see... because Morgan will KILL YOU TOO... and I will have failed Blaze twice."

Frost may not hav been able to appreciate what she was witnessing... but it was a BIG step forward for Haleigh.... it took a lot to get it all out... and Haleigh was exposing herself once more, as she had before that fateful trap she'd walked into when she was in the military.

:: Seeing Alison appear just as the men were starting to get on their feet for round two, she swiftly blew each of them up and lent a helping hand to Alexis. Grasping her hand, Alexis winced a bit in pain as she stood from the floor. ::

"Ow..ow...Ugh, thanks..."

:: Craning her neck from side to side, she lifted her hand up to her jaw rubbing it gently. Showing a bit of discomfort, Alexis was slightly pissed off. But as Alison began to explain to her that Jasmine stole the deed to this club, the metahumans eyes went wide. It was one thing to try and kill the six, it was another to steal something so emotionally valuable to them–to the leader of the group. Shaking her head, Alexis let out a sigh. ::

"I can't believe that woman....Alison, Morgan is going to flip OUT when she finds this out."

:: Stating the obvious, Alison was well aware of how Morgan was going to react. Rolling her eyes at the situation, Alexis ran her hands along her sleek black jumpsuit, fixing any wrinkles or signs of struggle, away from the material. Lifting a single hand to her hair, she ran her slender fingers along her blonde locks, "brushing" it back to it's sleek side swept do. ::

"How do I look? Is my cheek bruising yet?"

:: Wiping the reminisce of blood away from the corner of her lip, if they were to keep up calming and fun-loving appearances in the club, she couldn't very well walk out with a bloody lip and a bruised cheek. Hello, big ol' sign indicating something was wrong. ::

** Silence spread between the two soldiers after Haleigh finished her discussion of herself, Morgan and her connections with Six, and Blaze. Looking away, Jasmine avoided eye contact now. It left a hole in her heart to continue to hear about her sister but she gave Haleigh the opportunity to speak her peace, without any sort of interruption. Reaching for her glass of water, she finally locked with those green cat eyes. "I'm not saying my father is a saint, he's the real reason I was created as this monster. I've killed dozens of people without a second thought, its who I am. Do I try to correct that? No, its who I am, a killer."

** Leaning forward in the booth, she sensed her men were dead already. It would be useless to attempt. Haleigh's words echoed in her mind repeatedly. The woman had a point. She wanted badly to lash out like an unrelenting psychopath with no conscious. Buried deep in that chamber of ice was a person with feelings. And as much as Frost tried to deny that Haleigh was cracking that fortress she so desperately created. **

"I want her dead...but perhaps you have a point. My sister was fiery and stubborn, she would have gone no matter what the circumstance. Even if I give Morgan a chance.....retreat of my mission...it won't take away the pain but maybe that's my lesson. I'm tenacious maybe a little too much. Walking away from this will be nearly impossible but since Morgan is well was her half sibling, she probably did her best to warn Blaze."

** Another waitress walked over but she leaned down to touch Jasmine on the shoulder blade, whispering into her ear. Green eyes going wide but the Assassin immediately shielded it. "thank you." Her eyes falling to the table, almost in disbelief. "So, I really was a Fielding..." Her body temperature dropping to abnormal depths of cold, "I had a contact look into my birth. It wasn't the nurses fault, Victor Klein stole me from the incubator. Apparently he had a very sick daughter, switching us..." She stopped to register this new account. "I would have grown up with Blaze!" Her eyes morphing into a dark blue hint as she folded her arms across her chest. "How exactly can you help me Haleigh? You obviously see my sister when you look at me and Alexis does too. It hurts you both but its in a way reassuring to see a Fielding in front of you. I give you my word I won't harm Morgan or her friends and I'll end all attempts to sabotage her company. Your friend, Morgan, it may not have been her fault after all."

** Meanwhile back outside Victor Klein and his horde of men were storming into the club. Walking inside, all of them wore a traditional tux but with white ties instead of black. Victor was the one in center who was the most muscular of them all even for a man in his 50's now. His black hair slicked back like some gangster who ran the streets. "Find my daughter, now!" He walked around when he saw Morgan Victoria from the corner of his eyes, "Victoria..." He whispered with hatred. **

** Back inside Haleigh's booth, one of the staff approached Jasmine, "Ms. Fielding...we have a serious problem!" She looked up, "well, out with it." He glanced at Haleigh and then Jasmine, "your father and his men have arrived." Jasmine bolted from the booth, "fuck! Get him a drink and keep him busy." The man walked briskly away. Turning around, Jasmine leaned her head inches from Haleigh's, mimicking her move. A gust of cold hit into Hals, "okay tiger, you want your friend to live, get her to safety. My father is here and he won't be so easy to stand down. He will open fire on ALL of these people just to attempt to kill Morgan. I'll need you by my side, you'll watch my six." Backing away, Jasmine reached down to her long elegant black gown and ripped it to form a long slit through it. Kicking off her shoes, she began to walk barefoot. "Hurry, we don't have much time." She quickly placed her hair in a messy bun for now. **

"I can't believe I'm saying this but I'll help protect Morgan but I'll warn you she'll probably have my head by tonight after this is over with." She glanced over to her shoulder, "I need to lure my father out of this building..with his men." Having Victor there just complicated the situation and added more logs to the fire. Walking down the stairs, she hurried her pace to the dance floor again. She zig zagged through the crowd to see her father. Haleigh and Jasmine would keep in touch via a head set that was small and hardly visible. If anything they would look like staff. **

** Victor sat at the bar drinking a scotch on the rocks with some of his men around. Jasmine walked up, "Dad, hey, what a lovely surprise..." She faked a smile. He swung and back handed her in the mouth. Her head whipping to the side while he finished his drink. "What the fuck is wrong with you? You bring in that fucking bleach blonde whore? Whose your family Jasmine! And get this stupid shit out of your face." He pulled the head set off and dropped it to the floor. The piece was smashed by his heavy foot. The reception on Haleigh's end crackled and fuzzed. Turning to look at her father, Jasmine's eyes got colder in degrees as did her heart beat begin go slow, a sign of distress. It took all her strength not to knock his head off. "Father! We must go, I'll explain on the way." She put emphasize on the word. His dark ebony eyes studied Morgan and then Delilah. "you bring a COP in here! I'm ashamed of you as my daughter!" It was the final straw for Jasmine who gripped her father's arm tightly bending it backwards as he sank to his knee. Her eyes a murky blue, not bothering to blink, "let's get this straight daddy, I'm not your daughter, I never was." Two of the henchmen moved in but Victor stopped them, "no!" Releasing her hold, Jasmine backed up, her lip swelling with blood forming from the cut on the lower lip. "Get out." He stood up, towering over her with an arrogant laugh, "No!" Another mighty swing and this time he physically hit Jasmine this time in the face. She fell back into the bar, knocking some bottles over to steady herself. He looked over to her but Jasmine was on her feet. She moved to stand in the way. "I won't let you threw....she's not the enemy, you are!"

Haleigh leaned forward against the circular table between them, driving her point home.

"Yes... its who YOU are... its even who I am. You and I... we have lined our own paths to hell with the blood of our victims... WE are killers. But that's NOT who Morgan is. Morgan is a GOOD woman who was led into the woods and left to fend for herself... she was lost and confused as to who was trying to help her and who was trying to hurt her.... and she WASNT herself... she was... something else. Something primal."

Even Haleigh found it bizarre to hear herself saying these words... but it had shown just how much she'd come to understanding. Just how much she'd risen above her previous state and her misconceptions about Morgan... and though she was reluctant to show it to those she was closest to, here with a stranger, a stabler, wiser and more gentle person shone through. Haleigh allowed herseslf a breath of relief... she seemed to be getting through to the girl. Perhaps tonight would not be so bad after all... it was a GOOD thing she'd decided to come, even if her plans of cutting loose were canceled. And then it all went to hell, as Victor Klein decided to show his pompous face. Haleigh placed her hand on Jasmine's forearm, trying to steady the girl, who was reacting like a spooked horse.

"NO. Calm down.... sit. Just wait a second, dont go out there all halfcocked!"

But her pleadings fell on deaf ears. Jasmine was far too worked up to heed the advice of a more experienced operative.... and her father was a much closer-to-home adversary. Haleigh sat back in the booth as Frost disappeared from view, shaking her head. "This girl is fucking squirelly!" She exclaimed to herself out of frustration. She tapped into the club's surveillance, a system she was familiar with [after all, it WAS hers], and watched Jaz slip through the crowd. This could be messy. Haleigh listened in silence until her earpiece went offline. she rose from the table and began to prowl through the dancing patrons toward the scuffle quickly. Haleigh strategically placed herself so as to block Jasmine from Morgan's view, thinking ahead BEYOND just disolving this problem to delaying the next. She arrived in time to see Jasmine hit a second time, and she narrowed her eyes as her gaze fell on Victor. Frost would be the only one to feel it... but with her anger her body temperature rose, as if her SOUL was on fire... these HEATHEN men were trying to mar Blaze's memory... and she wasnt about to have that. Haleigh sensed the weaponry on Victor's thugs and raised the density of the metals, weighing them down to be too heavy to bear.... anything in an ankle holster would anchor that foot to the floor, too heavy to even drag... and anything on the hip or chest would be SO unbelievably heavy that the men would find themselves SITTING DOWN to relieve the gravity force on their frail human frames.

Haleigh, wearing white in the sea of traditional black, easily attracted attention... it helped that she wasn't too hard on the eyes. ;) Her alluring voice broke through to the immediate group, manipulating the sound system in the club to quiet in the bar area to allow her voice to be heard.

"Viktor Klein....." She said, seductively. She was aware of her effect on men... and she was subtley using it to her advantage. She was almost as bewitching as a siren when she had to be. "I think its time for you to leave this place.... you arent welcome here."

** A familiar seductive voice turned even Jasmine's head who there was standing Haleigh. Shaking her head as to say 'no' to her comrade. Granted, Haleigh and the rest of the members of the Six were beautiful and divine. However, Frost felt her icy heart melt with emotion. In a way she felt like Haleigh was a sister either older or younger who looked out for the mutant. She couldn't let Haleigh put her ass on the line, it would be Jasmine, she's the one who started this pandemonium. Her father side stepped Jasmine to see the white angel speaking to him. He went to her when Jasmine spun around and froze his feet to the ground, "don't touch her!" She was taken back by such emotion in that sentence. Blowing it off, she knew the other man would be disarmed thanks to Black Widow. **

** Touching her father on the shoulder pads of his tux, she watched as he shivered, knowing his daughters icy touch. "All right! But I'll be back for the bitches head!" He was able to walk freely but he had to un - arm himself. Tossing the gun to the bartender, who placed the gun in a safe where other pistils were kept for the many celebrities who kept them. Victor filed out with his group of men. Frost would turn around to stand in front of Haleigh. It was rather ironic, one with a black dress who was of darker origins and one of a reformed past with a white dress. Both allied now and perhaps would share a deep rooted bond like Haleigh and Blaze did in the past. "thanks...I guess I should disappear too before Morgan finds out about her club...although something tells me she will." She knew better than to make visual contact with Morgan or Delilah. "Now what Ace?" The same nickname used for Blaze was given to Haleigh. Her lips smirked, "by the way...nice dress." **

** One mess taken care of, she would deal with her father another time. For the time being Jasmine had bigger problems Morgan and her gang of blood thirsty wolves. She was ready to face the music, Morgan would probably seal her fate and Alison and Alexis would assist after what the mutant had ordered. "If you've got a plan, now's the time to review it."

<< as the dancing and partying went on....Morgan was blissfully unaware of the trouble brewing...as was most of the throng of beautiful peopl all around her. but as Haleigh helped to control THAT situation, while Alison and Alexis were preparing to confront Jasmine and Haleigh...Morgan , Diddy, and Madonna slipped away to prepare for the show. ALISON AND ALEXIS decided to watch the show from a distance...to keep a better eye on the surrounding area of the club. and as the club seemed to shift and change...the patrons, celebrities and other elite guests were now seated at rounded tables with floating orbs of soft silver lighting. the club was now darker. Diddy and Madonna took the stage to gather everyone's attention and announce the mini fashion show...as a large square perimeter with a centered catwalk that reached out into the audience appeared along with a large liquid crystal screen at the back and floating monitors that seemed to circle in the air all began to broadcast a rapid montage of bling, excess, laser lights, and fashion models from shows recently passed. "Switch" by Will Smith begins to play as fashion models from Illustra--wearing fashions by Sean Jean [diddy's design lable]for women began to strut their stuff in time to the beat while dancers--mostly bare chested black men and provocatively dressed black and white women danced along the north line of the perimeter. Diddy hyped the crowed as the models strutted and the dancers moved to the beat and the images. the song shifted as the DJ began to pick up the pace with a deft remix of "Hung Up" by Madonna. the setting seemed to change...giving it a more "futuristic disco" look with disco balls hanging down by varying lengths and sizes..sparking and spinning as the very floor of the perimeter began to manifest illuminating squares on it. the dancers were now pop locking and performing other b-boy and retro styles while the models had changed their style as well..looking more "technological" with their metallic make up and outlandish hair accessories. MORGAN joined them...as she strutted with a look of elegant disdain...taking her final pass and turn....she winked at Alycia and Delilah who were front and center..>>

<< the mini fashion/dance show wound up as Morgan walked down again, arm in arm with Diddy and Madonna and the models walked out along each side of the perimeter as everyone took their place along the front of the perimeter facing the crowd, Morgan was given a mic>>

This evening, the fun , the celebration the events...all happened here at XS. remember this place. It was founded by my sister, Blaze Fielding. A woman of firey passion and zeal who played as hard as she worked. This is her club...and though she is no longer here with us....this is one piece of her legacy that will endure, bringing joy to ALL of us for years to come. I thank you all for helping me to HONOR her spirit..and celebrate her hard work. I thank you ALL!!!!

<< A beautifull picture of Blaze Fielding manifested on the large screen...with other shots of her appearing on the smaller, floating screens>>

<< Morgan's voice cracked just a little...as she finished but the audience was already clapping and cheering wildly with approval...standing to their feet to praise Morgan, Diddy and Madonna for a wonderfull show, clapping and cheering for the beautiful evening of fun and glamor and joining Morgan in paying tribute to Blaze's memory. >>

<<the night had been a success. MUCH money had been generated and would be donated to Blaze's favorite charity causes and XS had now been established once again as the premier celebrity hotspot in NYC. It was supposed to be under Illustra Inc's umbrella..but some "unexpected details" had not been dealt with yet. but for this moment...as the audience cheered and clapped....hugs were exchanged by the models on stage with the dancers as Diddy, Morgan and Madonna all gestured toward the picture of Blaze and then took a bow to the audience. Madonna's song "JUMP"...another futuristic, yet dreamy sounding dance track from her latest album began to play as everyone on the catwalk and perimeter began to file off into the darkness back stage...and now that the festivities of the evening had climaxed....everyone was free to mingle, network, resumed drinking , dancing etc. Morgan would soon encounter Alison and Alexis back stage....>>

::Alison watched the show with a smile on her face. it was fierce, well put together, and glamorous. and the tribute to Blaze was very tender...Morgan's voice betrayed the emotion that she so often tried to hide from everyone. Alison placed her hand over her heard as she remembered the spunky, sometimes outrageous younge mutant that was Morgan's sister. as the show came to a close Alison joined in the applause with everone and looked over at Alexis::

well, THAT went well enough. Haleigh managed to head a potential blood bath when a man calling himself "Victor Klein" attempted to storm the place to ASSASSINATE Morgan. He was prepared to lay waste to this crowd.just to kill her.

as soon as guests start to spread out again...WE are going to intercept Haleigh and Jasmine and CONFRONT this woman.

:: pointing out the path they needed to talk to avoid most of the moving crowd, Alison lead the way....walking with a direct, unrelenting glare in her cobalt blue eyes. Alexis could almost FEEL the cold, analytical, unforgiving persona of Alison reasserting itself....and after having the softer, feminine, and fashion forward side of her....it was a shame that the events "behind the scenes" at XS had forced her to once again become GUARDIAN. Yet she kept on her provocative dress.::

:: they made their way up the stairs ....passing up Alycia and Delilah and not running into Morgan and Diddy...easily uncovering the where abouts of where Haleigh and Jasmine were...Alison's eyes flashed and the doors of the private lounge BLASTED open as she and Alexis strode into the room. Haleigh could see that Alison was PISSED and not in the mood for ANY interference.::

We want some answers...and we want them NOW!

and DONT try ANYTHING Jasmine Klein because I'll KNOW IT before you even DO it...and I'll do MORE than just "stop you".

::this was more along the lines of the Alison Haleigh remembered back when they FIRST met..the night MysTech's citadle went into Meltdown. She was cold, dominant, and unfeeling. But it was clear that she wasnt directing this at Alexis OR Haleigh. She was doing what she did best..INTIMIDATING the apparent enemy.

:: Walking into the private lounge after Alison blew the door open, Alexis stood aside of Alison narrowing her eyes at Frost. Giving her a small smirk, she lifted her one hand up wiggling her fingers in a taunting wave. ::

"It's going to take more than a couple of thugs in designer suits to take me out, sweetheart. So I suggest you start talking."

:: Flicking her head to the side, brushing back a few of her bangs that had fallen into her line of sight, Alexis shifted her eyes to Haleigh. At this point, she wasn't sure what Haleigh knew or didn't know. If she found anything more concrete out other than that Jasmine knew of the six and took over the deed to Blaze's club. Parting her lips, she turned her attention back to Jasmine as she crossed her arms along her chest awaiting the woman to speak. With a simple raise of her eyebrow, Alexis gave the woman the same 'you're beneath me' look that she had given earlier...indicating that these two would not be buddy-buddy in the future anytime soon. ::

Haleigh was more than prepared to lay waste to Victor and his cronies, or else most FORCEFULLY escort him to the exit... but she was taken by surprise to see Frost step in and take the lead, but she allowed herself to fade back into the background as the men left... She turned to Jasmine as the woman thanked her, folding her arms across her chest to protect her heart. Her tone was defensive and slightly standoffish, keeping cautionary distance. Haleigh and Blaze had been close... and with her next words Haleigh made it clear Jasmone would have to EARN Haleigh's trust.

"I didn't do it for you." She sucked in a sharp breath. "I did it for Morgan, and Blaze."

Haleigh said nothing, and betrayed no indication of surprise upon being called Ace... she shook it off and told herself it was mere coincidence... As she turned towards the staircase nearest to them and beckoned Jasmine to follow her.

"Next we go upstairs to my lounge... I like the booth because it allows me to be 'IN' the action... but I can see circumstances require you and me to be more REMOVED from tonight's events."

Haleigh watched with interest as the show began, standing behind the panels of one way mirrored glass that allowed a spectacular stage view from her lounge, perched on the mezzanine of the second floor of the club. As Morgan brought her speech to a close, haleigh smiled softly. Thank God SOMETHING had finally gone right... and it was fitting that tonight was the night. Zach (http://www.brilliance.nu/gallery/albums/photoshoots/frame01.jpg) let himself into the lounge, glancing at Jasmine before smiling at Haleigh. He handed her a black folder and Haleigh pulled him in for a kiss as she took it from him. He whispered in her ear and she smiled and nodded against his shoulder. He waltzed over to the bar in the corner of lounge and began to pour two glasses. Haleigh slipped on her thin, wire rimmed and through the folder without looking up at Jasmine.

"You aren't the only one who runs background checks. Alison and alexis are coming to confront you.... please do not get skittish again and do something foolish."

Haleigh took the glass of red wine Zach offered her and he placed his now free hand on her hip as he stood behind her... alison and Alexis both stormed in, claws out. Haleigh closed the folder and though she could tell Alison was not in the mood, STILL interfered.

"Now ladies.... CALM down... give the girl a chance to explain herself."

Pam De Beaufort

"Explain herself? Haleigh, she just sent four men to kill me...i'm sorry if i'm not much in the listening mood anymore."

:: Obvious irritation in her voice as Alexis spoke to Haleigh, she wasn't about to sit back and allow Haleigh and Jasmine to continue on with their pow wow after being attacked. Whatever Haleigh had up her sleeve, Alexis didn't like it. She seemed to comfortable with this woman that she just met. A woman who is in obvious connection with Blaze and wants the six dead...or from the looks of it atleast. Glancing away from Haleigh for a moment, she noticed a rather attractive looking man by her side...lowering her brows slightly, she looked back to Haleigh who seemed pretty comfortable with him. Well, I suppose Cameron was out of the picture...Shaking those thoughts out of her head, she shifted her eyes to Alison grunting a bit. ::

"Can't you just blow the bitch up so we can get back to the party. Or better yet, let me turn her insides into ash..."

:: Giving a malicious smirk, Alexis took a step forward toward Frost. ::

** No emotions were shown in the mutants eyes as she followed Haleigh inside her lounge. Crossing her own slender arms across her sleek black dress, in a way it matched her soul. Her makeup similar to Blaze's except more eye liner was applied to draw out those sage green eyes. She quietly observed the show, staring at the picture of her sister. Internally it pulled an old wound open. Her eyes narrow and cold when Morgan made a phenomenal speech, one that did speak great depths laced with raw emotion behind it. **

** A small squeeze gave Zack's location as the mutant eyed the door. Spotting a rather attractive man appear. She disregarded him with memories of her father's words replaying inside her head. Dropping her arms she turned to see Haleigh greet the man, but this time she was once more silent. It was difficult to read Jasmine now, who seemed aloof with even Haleigh and her guest. Probably busy thinking of tonights events. She seemed in control of her emotions and when a huge explosion rocked the wall, she turned to see Alison and Alexis. **

** Turning towards both women, she locked eyes with Shockwave with a raised eyebrow. **

"Is this a social call or are you just here to kick somebody's ass?" "But if you kill me...you'd be killing two Fieldings in a row, but instead of Morgan slaying it would be one of you."

** The statement was direct and to the point as she directed to Alexis. She pondered if she should give these two the full version or the bullshit story. She decided to go with the truth instead. But as Alison stared her down, she was no longer intimidated by this bewitching beauty. **

"Blaze Fielding and I are identical twins we were separated at birth. Victor Klein stole me and then claimed me as his own flesh and blood. I never knew my sister until Victor told me Morgan Victoria killed her. Well, Alison, your file is exceptional but I'm not here to compliment. I wanted Morgan dead but along the way Haleigh talked me out of it. Haleigh is an old friend of the families, which is how we know the other."

** Stepping in front of Alexis so they were head to head, she looked right THROUGH her, a characteristic Blaze often did. "Oh, Honey - cut the drama!" "If you need anything, you know, just a shoulder to cry on or a ride to AA, let me know." Moving in front of Alison, she locked eyes,"Keep the little woman on a short leash or I'll run her over." Referring to the irritating blonde beside Alison named Alexis. "You knew who I was....yet you kept it a secret from this whole team...including Morgan. Why? You could have..as Alexis says 'blow the bitch up' but you knew more. The great seer saw more...what you saw I don't know."

** Stepping back, she began to put the pieces together. "Whether you like it or not, I'm supposed to join this team...its destiny. Right Haleigh?" She turned to glance at her comrade, "what's more disturbing is...I get memories from Blaze...its our connection. When one twin dies the other feels it and also gains memories." She allowed the two women to register what she just told them, "and if you don't believe my story, Haleigh can verify any misconceptions you have about me."

Haleigh and Zach sunk into the nearest plush black leather sofa, and the lights in the room dimmed slightly, making the red hued walls look darker. Haleigh pulled her spectacles off and placed thm on top of the black folder, now sitting on the coffee table. She rubbed her eyes slowly, her tone now irritated.

"Give me a BREAK, Alexis, I've had a very LONG and TRYING day, and an even LONGER night. I'm JUST saying... give her a fair CHANCE."

Haleigh sighed and sipper her wine, leaning back into Zach's chest and relaxing her body. It was clear she didnt want a very active role in this.... she just didnt think it necessary to double and triple team, or shoot first and ask questions later. But as Jasmine challenged Alison, Haleigh's thoughts ran with the words and she raised her head as she questioned.

"Alison... what is she talking about?"

** Raising her left palm to calm Haleigh who was quick to take her defense. Shaking her head, she locked eyes with Alexis. **

"Its okay Hals, Alexis tends to speak when not spoken to. I think that's reason why she's single and divorced ten times." A cold cackle lingered in the air as her green eyes morphed to a midnight blue. "Alexis has this insecure aura going on here but sometimes she needs to remember her roots of the good doctor. You were just as easily transformed Alexis, so if you judge me, you judge yourself."

** She smirked at Haleigh's question to Alison, "yes, Alison due explain to your teammates. They do deserve to know why you spared me. By the way, are you guys hungry? I'm having champagne." Walking over to the small mini bar, she began to create a drink when she eyed Alexis, "Princess, you want a drink too? Oh wait...excuse me I forgot." A devilish evil smirk written on her lips. Jasmine's true icy demeanor was pulling through. Leaning down to Haleigh she whispered into her ear, "by the way, if you copulate in here try not to dirty the carpet." Winking to Haleigh, she turned away. Chilling her glass of champagne, taking a sip. All eyes were on Alison. **

:: If Jasmine thought her remarks about Alexis' drinking problem were a sure fire way to piss off the metahuman, she was far off base. Actually, the fact that she would go for the low blows so soon further showed Alexis just how much of an act this "icy exterior" was. Clearing her throat as the woman ranted on now about her husbands, at this point, Alexis couldn't help but let out a small laugh. ::

"It was five actually...but, who's counting?"

:: Narrowing her eyes, she watched the mutant carefully as she made her way over to the bar pouring herself a glass of champagne. Again, offering Alexis some, she simply tilted her head rolling her eyes away. Looking to Haleigh, she actually wanted Alexis to give this perverse little prick a chance? HA, right. She was nothing like Blaze. Blaze had class, this bitch, she reaked imbred hilibilie trying so desperately to make herself seem all "big and bad". Such a waste of time and energy... ::

"You're waisting your time trying to get a rise out of me. I've heard all this bullshit before, three times over again. So come up with some new material or shut your mouth."

:: Running her tongue along her teeth, Alexis glanced over to Alison hearing how she knew about Frost. Lowering her brows every so slightly, now she was the one hiding information. Lifting her hand up to the bridge of her nose, she gently scratched it with her manicured nail showing she was in fact a bit irritated at not only Jasmine, but Haleigh and Alison as well. It would be nice sometimes to get included in thier little loop of theirs. Keeping her eyes locked on Alison, the blonde waited for her to answer. ::

::Alison sneered with contempt as Jasmine attempted to bait both herself and Alexis. she looked over at Alexis as the metahuman suggested that Alison just "blow the bitch up" or let Alexis turn her to ash. INDEED it would be easy enough to expunge her right then and there. Alison had done it before countless times and while KILLING wasnt a problem for the dark mage and her OWN "adventurer's" past was filled with violence . but that was a story for another day. Even as Alison allowed Jasmine to make her stand, she snapped back EVEN AS Haleigh asked Alison what Jasmine was talking about::

YOU think too much of yourself...FROST.

:: folding her arms, and leaning on one leg slightly....Haleigh and Alexis had a chance to observe just how tight and feminine Guardian's body was. she often hid it in her trademark form fitting body suits but every so often, she knew how to shock everyone with her personal wardrobe::

Jasmine Klein came to Illustra WEEKS ago. She attempted to gain entry into the company, taking an entry level position as a receptionist. But i knew why she was there even as she went through the process. I personally blocked her from trying to gain an audience with Morgan herself because i KNEW she intended to use her physical appearence as psychological warfare and would try to asassinate her. Coming from Limbo only days EARLIER, we were ALL still feeling the lingering emotional effects of the NERVOUS caper..and I...well...I was still in a state of reflection...having been snatched from the brink of death by Ororo after Haleigh and the rest of the team rescued Morgan and I from the Super Soldier.

In YOUR case, I knew that Morgan was NOT prepared for this. NONE OF US wants to suffer through a repeat of Inferno. This team has FINALLY began to come together, and I wont allow some selfish child bent on VENGEANCE come and ruin the progress we have made.

You went behind Morgan and Alycia's back after i sent you away from Illustra and you strong armed the accountant/manager of XS into selling this place to YOU under the table..including the deed. HE left town. You did this BEFORE Alycia could execute Blaze's WILL and pass the club to Morgan LEGALLY.

When Alycia finds out about this..she WILL bury you litigation and DESTROY your credit/reputation and bring you under the scrutiny of the NYC police department..not to mention alerting the GOVERNMENT to your whereabouts..and once i tell her that Victor was here.....hmmm wont SHARON KELLY have a FIELD DAY gathering federal forces together to dismantle YOUR little clan...piece by piece.

Now...do you REALLY want to play hard ball? Because I think...in fact i KNOW you will lose.

::Alison hoped that Morgan wouldnt show up until AFTER Jasmine capitulated....she hoped this woman would be SMART enough to realize that Alison was DEADLY serious::

Haleigh stared at Frost... an incredulous look on her face. She had been trying to lessen the blows she feared were coming to Jasmine... and here she was, trying to make things WORSE! Haleigh's expression turned mean as Jasmine leaned into her, her brow furrowing in anger. Haleigh grabbed Frost's arm as she stood back up, her hand hot and BURNING into Frost's arm. Her voice was a low growl, showing that she was NOT amused, and least of all by the 'copulate' comment.

"You'd BETTER cut it out... there's only SO far I'm willing to go and you are OUT of line here!"

Haleigh turned to listen to Alison speak... she seemed to have a calm head about things, even as she put Frost coldly in her place. Oh yes... Haleigh knew what it was like to be on the receiving end of Alison's wrath... and though Haleigh and Alison werent exactly best friends... she was most certainly in a better position now, and didnt care to lapse back.... so she WISELY kept silent here, relaxing her forehead against Zach's cheek as he tuck her stray hair back behind her ear.

<< Morgan was now on the upper level....having changed again into her original outfit...her hair was now pulled back into a sleek pony tail. she sighed with content as she drank on an aquafina water...making her way to where EVERYONE ELSE was>>

<<having greeted and thanked many high profile guests....the climax of the evening's events had been reached and now, many guests were heading to more intimate settings or "after parties" of their own. Morgan decided now was the time to rejoin her group.....and see what they wanted to do. She hadnt saw Delilah since the show ended but was sure she knew how to find the private lounge by now. Boris and Diddy were going to have the escalade super stretch brought around and she thought it would be nice for everyone to ride together...but soon, her peacefull, happy feeling would be shattered for just as Alison had put Frost in her place and Haleigh was now getting on her case....Morgan's high heeled boots could be heard clicking down the hall toward that room.....>>

** She didn't expect any of these prissy little women to understand, all of them were more worried about fashion, reputations, and trying to intimate the wintery mutant. But none of it mattered, she had strings everywhere and as Alison attempted to rip her a new asshole she just laughed in all of their faces. **

"Cute, you all carry on like this is a support group but I can give you Cameron's number, but the way where is that stud muffin?"

** She perked a curious brow, perhaps maybe Jasmine knew but that would be half a guess. Sipping her champagne she roughly shoved Haleigh back down to the couch, "sit down hot stuff."

** Jasmine knew Morgan was on her way and no doubt she would incinerate the mutant, they probably all would. It was one against a whole group and Morgan was the worst of them all besides Alison. She'd have to face blonde someday, but instead of causing more chaos she stood there with her arms crossed against her heart. What came next would probably leave several nasty scars but that's karma for you. The enigma's green eyes washed over to the door, waiting for her bitter enemy to show. There was no getting around or side stepping. Morgan would show and hell hath no fury like Spellbinder!

Haleigh sunk haphazardly into the sofa as Jamine pushed her forcefully back... and she was ready to spring RIGHT BACK across the coffee table and tackle the brazen girl to the floor, but Zach sensed this and wrapped his arms around her to dampen her motion and calm her... and so she regained her composure and leaned back into the sofa, crossing one leg over the other at the knee.

"We ARE a support group... by the simplest definition. We are a group and we SUPPORT each other... it is the ONLY reason we have survived thus far..."

Haleigh glanced to her left, looking through the glass panels past the balcony, at the disippating crowd. She stared out for a few seconds before quickly turning to look at the opposite wall. A LARGE flat panel screen is displaying a digitized visualization that was in synch with Peter J. Wilhousky's "Carol of the Bells" the song that was playing softly inside the lounge. [You've heard the song... it is used in the Christmas commercials for Victoria's Secret. ;)] Haleigh seemed to perk up.... and she spoke warily as Morgan's footsteps began to sound outside the lounge.

"Morgan's coming...." sure enough, a 16x8 inch window appeared in the top right corner of the screen, displaying a video feed that showed Morgan coming down the corridor. Haleigh turned to look up at Jasmine, a stern expression on her face.

"I'm not speaking to you to enjoy the sound of my own voice... I'm trying to save you some pain, Kid. I don't know why I'm wasting my breath, you haven't listened to me ALL NIGHT... in fact, you've done nothing short of SPITTING IN MY FACE... but who knows... maybe this time itll stick. You had BETTER lay your FIGHT FACE to rest... because unlike myself, Morgan will NOT be entertained by your futile attempts for dominance... if ANYTHING... she will find it even LESS amusing than Alison and Alexis have."

[ Delilah watched the fashion show, cheering Morgan loudly of course. Hearing her speak about Blaze, Delilah discreetly wiped a tear from her eye before getting up for another drink. She had just begun to make her way to the private lounge - arm in arm with both Freddie Ljungberg (http://paris.typepad.com/ohlalaparis/freddie-thumb.jpg) and Daniel Carter (http://www.sportinglife.com/pictures/general/allsportdanielcarterirbaward.jpg) - when she stopped dead: Morgan was yelling. Something was very wrong.

She politely excused herself and hurried the rest of the way to the lounge. Not bothering to knock, she entered. ]

"Morgan, what are you-"

[ And then she saw Jasmine. Her questioning look turned to shock as "Blaze" appeared before her. Looking back and forth from Morgan to Jasmine, something in her told her to reach for her gun. Of course, against her better judgement, she wasn't carrying it. ]

"What is going on here?"

:: Cameron King entered the doors of XS for the first time since the death of Blaze Fielding in a rather stunning Dolce&Gabbana (http://www.fashionshowroom.com/beauty/2005/hair/men/enlarged/dolce9-sp05.jpg) suit that seemed to fit the party atmosphere for the evening. Cameron had been out of the country pretty much ever since the Six returned to Illustra after defeating Nervous. He told his friends that he was there to do some recon on the building of the Parthenon in Tokyo but he was in fact training. After sealing off his telepathic powers, he knew that he would have to be much stronger than ever before. He would have to use not only his telekinetic powers but his brute strength as well. He had been studying a rather unknown but extremely powerful form of karate known as Shorin Ryu Shorin Kahn with the Grandmaster of the Art. It had been extremely difficult and though he had been gone for only three weeks, the amazing physical transformation that Cameron had seen. His body was amazing defined. He could almost literally see every muscle on his body. He was more than cut which definitely bolstered his already swelling self confidence. He was well trained and better looking than he had ever been. Tonight on his arm was rather a newcomer to the business known as Aubrey O'Day. She was part of a new musical group that P.Diddy was putting together and since he was a large part of the party the publicity would be great for the beginning of Sean Combs' brainchild. They went to the bar and quickly ordered their drinks when Cameron noticed that he didn't see anybody of the Six in attendance which was extremely strange. He winked to Aubrey. ::

"Hey, Aubrey.. I have to go check in on some people around here.. Get whatever you want put it on my tab and have a great time. I will be back in a few moments.."

:: He went to the VIP part of the club as memories flashed through his head of Blaze, Haleigh and Cameron having some very funny drunken moments. The flashes were interrupted when he heard the yelling of both Alison and Morgan coming from around the hall. ::

"Welcome home, Cameron..."

:: He rushed over to the room wanting to know just what was going on. After everything that had been resolved in the past few weeks, could it all be falling apart this fast. He didn't want to think about it but sure enough as he rounded the corner and entered the room he saw the entirety of the Six with a woman who looked astonishingly like Blaze. Cameron was at a loss for words. He looked at the ground to see scorch marks, no doubt the trademark kill mark of his sister Alison. This was a tense situation. ::

"Um.. Did I miss much while I was gone?"

:: It was a stupid comment to somewhat lighten the moment but he knew he would stay quiet in this situation, taking a moment to look at all the hot looks the Six were in, especially Delilah. So the girl had a little freak flag in her after. He smiled silently to himself and waited for something of an explanation. ::

** Five, four, three, two, one, zero! Morgan's calming voice sounded around the corner as did her heels. The statuesque blonde appeared and immediately Jasmine clenched a fist. It took ALL her might not to attack Morgan, not that she could over power Spellbinder. Her heartbeat slammed inside her chest drastically from the adrenaline soaring throughout her delicate body. Jasmine was probably the smallest besides Delilah both in height and probably weight. Although Haleigh had a twenty - year olds body so it was controversial **

"Hello Morgan."

** She said with a chilly reception but her sage green eyes were a mirror to the fiery mutant who had fought bravely. Noticing Delilah enter, she cursed under her breath. She was surrounded by enemies and her body dropped in temperature. It was instinct for the mutant who manipulated the air to decrease in temperature. She pondered Morgan's demanding question. She really had to write this on a sticky and post it over her forehead. **

"My illegal name is Jasmine Klein but my birth name is...Jasmine Fielding." She allowed Morgan to process this new information. "This isn't trickery either, I'm Blaze's identical twin but unfortunately the Mob has separated us. I came to find Blaze but I was too late..."

** Stepping forward Jasmine stood in front of Morgan. Morgan easily towered over Jasmine and it was in a way comical but not the discussion at hand. Jasmine stared into those icy blue eyes, "I came here for you Morgan...I wanted to see the woman who butchered my sister!" And in another second she lashed out and attempted to slap Morgan across the cheek with all her might. Her eyes filling with tears, "you MURDERED my sister! You horrid creature...I can NEVER try to forgive you for it!" Her anger boiling once more. She didn't back away from Morgan and she was ready to square off. "Your friends tell me, you were pushed but she was your sister! I hope seeing my reflection HURTS because you deserve misery and PAIN! I wonder what Blaze feels....wait she CAN'T!" Her eyes raging as she snarled, ignoring the rest of the Six. It was an emotional scene that would cause turmoil no doubt but it had to be covered. Jasmine's eyes flashed a brilliant ice shade as she locked eyes with those violent irises Morgan had. Her chest heaving as she stood. Morgan could terminate her in the blink of an eye. "What is the great Morgan gonna do? KILL two sisters? Go ahead but make sure you stab in the heart, I wanna look into your eyes when you do!" She challenged with spite. **

:: Alexis' eyes widdened hearing Jasmine's harsh words to Morgan. Shit...this wasn't good. Catching Cameron walking in, well it was about damn time he showed up to this little pow wow...because you know. Nothing ever stays quiet for long in this god forsaken group of melodramatic people. Bitting her lip gently, Alexis wanted to step forward and stop Jasmine from squaring off with Morgan. Morgan could easily, without hesitation or effort, take Blaze's sister out; but as much as she wanted to break the two up, Morgan needed to deal with this on her own. Inhaling a sharp breath, the moment Jasmine slapped Morgan across the check, Alexis' body stiffened. ::

"Whoa! Hey, look! Morgan might of physically killed Blaze, but we were ALL responsible for her death. We broke Morgan down to her rawest of nature, until she couldn't hold onto her humanity! We drove her to it; so if you want to blame someone for the death of the sister you didn't even KNOW, look around you sweetheart. Because we are ALL to blame."

:: It was one thing to let the woman duke it out, it was another to stand back and watch this pint sized spitfire yell harsh words of blame at Morgan who had come so far to overcome the fact she killed Blaze. The group, as a whole, have come together, and she'd be damned if a woman seeking revenge over a woman she didn't even know, break this team down again. ::

<< Morgan looked as Delilah came. her violet eyes were widened with painfull disbelief and as Jasmine spoke...that made it worse.>>

this ISNT POSSIBLE! Blaze doesnt HAVE any sisters BUT ME....and our FATHER IS DEAD!

<< Morgan barely had time to react before she was SLAPPED across the face.......she gasped with shock and horror. shaking her head with disbelief...>>

<< Even as Alexis fired back at Frost....the room began to grow dark as thunder was now rolling in the air. it was a sign the rest of the six had seen before. Morgan's own countenance was darker..as tears began to stream down my face>>

<<in an icy voice>>:how....DARE YOU.......you.......LIAR!!!

<< as her blonde double highlighted hair began to rise and flow, Morgan thrusts her hands up and out...as a chime sounds a BLAST is heard in the air...she unleashes a violent blast of HURRICANE force winds that pick up Jasmine as if she were NOTHING and hurl HER [along with anything that isnt nailed down] across the room into the wall

ITS A TRICK! A PLOY BY MYSTECH!!!

<< the doors slammed shut...trapping everyone in the room as thunder CRASHED all around them>>

WELL I HOPE YOU ENJOYED YOUR LITTLE CRUEL JOKE...BECAUSE ITS THE LAST MOMENT ON EARTH YOU'LL EVER HAVE!

<< Morgan takes aim.....a halo forms around her out stretched clenched fists....as dark magick sparkles around it...she's about to unleashe an massive eldritch bolt at this woman claiming to be Blaze's twin sister. Morgan was going out of her mind...REELING from this IMPOSSIBLE scenario now facing her. She had ONLY JUST begun to find BALANCE in her life following Blaze's death....but it seemed that she would never truly recover..>>

"SHUT your hole Alexis! This is not your fight! You all may have been a catalyst but Morgan did the final blow!"

** She spat fiercely at the Metahuman. Turning her blue eyes back onto Morgan, she tensed for an attack. "I'm NOT a liar! I speak the truth! Haleigh can run a DNA check and it will be validated!" A gentle chime rang in her ears as thunder shook the building, startling the mutant. Was Spellbinder a weather witch too? She didn't recall that in the file she read. **

** Her body was violently scooped up like she were a paper clip. Her body flew around in a frenzied circulatory motion as she neared the wall. Targeting the wall with her eyes, enabling her to keep her focus like an ice skater performing a double loop. She outstretched her hands and formed a bright display of ice that flew into the wall. Manipulating the water levels to soften as she collided with her ice net that caught her before hand. Slumping down the wall, her eyes flashed a metallic shade. Inhaling a sharp breath like she were blowing her body like a blow fish. And when she exhaled large ice spikes protruded from all over her body as she doubled in her physical size. Her human body disappearing to resemble an ice woman of sorts. Her skin blended with tints of white, blue, and silver. **

"Now, you pissed me off bitch!"

** She rushed forward and flipped vertically again to dodge a chair hurling her way. Coming around the corner she moved like lightning in her speed due to her increased energy levels. At the last second rectangular glass table collided with Jasmine but it immediately froze from contact. Smashing the material with her bare fist, the table shattered into a million pieces. Those tiny pieces melted away but were picked off in the air. Her energy source was descending greatly the more she used this newer power. She would have to power down. Her human body returning with those green eyes when a chair smashed into Jasmine. Slamming backwards into the ground she grabbed her shoulder painfully. Pushing herself she was dazed but climbed to her feet. Around this time she saw Morgan channeling some sort of magick. **

"I speak the truth you homicidal trainwreck!" Reaching up, she yanked a necklace and threw it towards the floor. It was a heart shaped locket of twins, one read 'Blaze' and the other read 'Jasmine.' "Why would I lie." The pain in her shoulder throbbed as she dealt with the pain. "I speak the truth, Blaze NEVER knew she had a sister! She was abandoned as a child..." She began to fall on one knee, her eyes locked onto Morgan. Her own hair a royal mess from the wind attack from earlier. "Do it! Just proves how right I am about you....a monster!"

:: Cameron listened to the woman with his eyes wide open. Blaze had an identical twin sister and now Morgan had to look at the metaphorical ghost of her dead sister. He could only feel sympathy for Morgan and then intense hatred for this Jasmine woman. He was about to lose it. Who the hell did she think she was coming in here on a night to honor Blaze and drop a bombshell like this. Prophet wasn't about to have it. He stepped forward as Morgan exercised the same loss of control she did when the first Inferno had transpired and he couldn't allow it to happen again. ::

"We need to separate them! Get Morgan away from her! Get her somewhere for interrogation! We can't have a blow out like this on a night with such publicity!"

:: For whatever reason he instantly felt like he hated Jasmine. Be it the way she presented herself or the fact that the woman standing before them was the polar opposite of Blaze. Blaze was fiery and passionate and Jasmine was cold and distant. He went at Jasmine with a speed that the group had never seen him use before as out of his hands sprung a rope that was composed of telekinetic energy that surrounded Jasmine before she could even blink. He pulled the rope tight with his mind until it almost restricted her breathing. He hadn't seen her power but he knew it was most likely an elemental power if she truly was Blaze's sister. Tugging the rope back and forth he sent Jasmine flaying into each side of the wall repeatedly, each smash into the walls more harsh than the next. Finally with a last bow he shot out a powerful beam of force at Jasmine that sent her plummeting into the far wall of the hall as she hit it so hard she actually cracked through it slightly. He wanted to knock her out.::

"I know this is hard, Morgan, but we can't just kill her. If she speaks the truth or even if she is a cowardly liar, we have to at least know!"
