Has anyone else given this series a shot? They're only on issue two thus far but if it continues the way it's been going I'm not going to keep reading it. Batman is portrayed as a sadistic psychopath and the Gotham police are no longer the generally-honest yet ill-equipped to deal with supervillains. Instead, they are dirty cops easily bought and used by the powers that be.
Maybe it's my fault for expecting something that at least seems somewhat like the original. What I've read leads me to believe Bob Kane is turning over in his grave.
