After bouncing back from the unexpected attack by Helena's Wildpack, The Six realized that one of their own had been abducted. Not only was Alexis in mortal danger, but now, the group was as well. Haleigh had underhandedly, and quite brilliantly, stolen a pass card from one of the Wildpack members, allowing easy access too the maze like tunnels that were beneath Wyndemre Estate. Though it was a simple task to enter the catacombs....what Helena had in store for The Six was far from elementary assault tactics.
Every movement made by The Six was observed by Helena. She already knew there was tension between Alison and Haleigh. She could see the hatred toward Adrian from Cameron. And of course, the desire of revenge reeking from Morgan. Although her underground escape had been breeched, the woman wasn't frightened. In fact, she was quite comfortable...
Once Haleigh opened the large steal door leading from the library to the underground tunnels of Wyndemre, the group was now to set forth on yet another task. A search and rescue. Yet what the group didn't know was that there was more to this story then meets the eye. More hidden truths, more undiscovered lies. A melting pot of hidden secrets that were dying to be let known. And the only person whom seemed to gain knowledge to these secrets was Cameron. Cameron was a valuable player in this task. He already revealed Helena killed her own nephew. He revealed that there was a distinct connection with Adam and Helena...thus explaining the MysTech support. But would Cameron find out other secrets? Would the six's cocky nature be their downfall as they underestemate the true strength and ability Helena was harboring. The truth would be known soon be known as the group sets forth on yet another caper.

:: yanking her arm away and gesturing with the other like Prue...Guardian ANGRILY TK'ed Haleigh back away from her and into a nearby pillar::
you touch me again....and ill SMASH YOU LIKE A FUCKING BUG!
::Alison's cobalt blue eyes glowed...as she sneered with a SAVAGERY that hadnt been seen from HER before. She seemed more like a an angered wild jungle cat..ready to lay waste on her prey...unless someone stopped her::

<< turning her head quickly...as Alison retaliated against Haleigh...Morgan could FEEL the rise in power around Alison....possibly she was preparing to unleash a mystic force bolt. Whatever it was....it was CLEAR that Haleigh's presence was ONCE AGAIN degenerating the climate of the team.. but now was not the time for this>>
<< quickly moving to where Alison was..Morgan grabbed her....FIRMLY but NOT to hurt her or chastise her>>
Alison...DONT let her get to you! this is all she is good for...trying to upset the two of us. it's what she's done since she darkened our doorstep.
<< leading Alison away from that area..Morgan turned back and looked at Haleigh>>
the "good" that you've done..doesnt even BEGIN to outweigh the EVIL INTENT that you had from the moment you arrived Haleigh. You didnt help me find Blaze for my sake OR her's...you were in this for your OWN gain..and that was what motivated you the entire time. You cant even ADMIT how amoral you are. At least I have made NO secret about my demonic heritage...something that YOU were only too eager to provoke in order to achieve some perverted joy...your very existence NOW is a perversion...for someone ELSE had to die so you could have that body. and yet my sister is DEAD still.
and if you value this "new life" you have...YOU will not utter ONE WORD about Blaze within my ear shot. She is MY sister...NOT yours...and you have NO claim on her life, her memory or ANYTHING ABOUT HER!
<< turning away...Morgan closed her eyes...the mere mention of Blaze...and her memory still pained Morgan to her icy heart..as she exhaled slowly. Looking over at Cameron..whom she half way expected to open his mouth...but her look at him wasnt sharp or severe...her icy violet eyes couldnt HELP but betray the sadness she felt for Blaze's loss...this haunted her more than anyone could guess.>>
allright...lets all just try to remain calm...and get through this. fighting amongst ourselves in these catacombs...isnt going to solve anything.
now even if we are being watched now by cameras...my cloaking spell will nullify the camera's lock on us.
everyone stand close....
<< lifting her hands, winds began to whistle...as chimes sounded off and thunder crashed in an "echoed" effect...as a sparkling effect began to form and travel around them in a rapid form....sparkling shards of energy flashed around them...and soon....the cloaking spell took effect..and they faded from the sight of any outsider's eyes..or cameras>>

Haleigh smashed back into the pillar with such force that it collapsed under her techno-organic body. Haleigh, splayed atop the rubble, stared up at Alison, their eyes locked. But contrary to what would be expected of her... the expression in her bright green eyes was not one of anger... or one of surprise... but one of mockery. Why Alison, did I strike a nerve? Alison seemed predatory and her emotions were getting the best of her. Tsk Tsk...
"Careful there, Miss Marble.... She who angers you, controls you."
She said, her tone laced with taunt, unfettered by Alison's death threat as she stood up and brushed herself off. Morgan went straight into attempting to reprimand Haleigh, who turned to face her. Haleigh watched her carefully... she appeared to be listening intently.... but she was paying more attention to Morgan's body language.... and the pain in her eyes. For a moment... Haleigh felt a pang of empathy... she actually felt SORROW for Morgan... not JUST because Haleigh missed Blaze too... but because on some level, she identified with losing someone close... and she couldnt imagine how it would kill her to be responsible for taking Cassandra's life... or for Cameron's. Of course... that was fleeting... because Morgan's voice of hatred continued to spout spite... determined as ever to degrade and discredit Haleigh with whatever ammunition she could get, below the belt hit or not. Morgan couldn't help but make a not so subtle threat on Haleigh's life... and that brought haleigh RIGHT back to reality... Morgan and Alison were NEVER going to change... they had formed an opinion LONG ago and they werent going to cut Haleigh ANY slack on this one... so Haleigh's efforts to be as copacetic and agreeable, and her attempts to do something SELFLESS for once... were all for naught... because Ali and Morg were NOT about to let her live down her past... and they'd BOTH make sure no good deed went unpunished... It was this realization that drove Haleigh to make her next comments... even though deep in what heart she had left... she wanted very much to get through THIS incident working as a team for once. so in SPITE of their threats... Haleigh spoke to Morgan... about thevery thing that could cut her the deepest.
"WELL Morgan... I'm truly very sorry that I came back and she didnt... [her voice drops to just above a whisper] But I didn't swing the sword... YOU did... and as AMORAL as I am... and as TERRIBLE a person as I am... I could NEVER... EVER... do to my sister what you did to yours. Now if you'll excuse me... Alexis is depending on us... and I'm not about to let down ANOTHER person who's life is resting in my hands...."

Helena watched as Alison TKed Haleigh into a near by pillar. Even Helena winced at the impact in which Haleigh struck the concrete pole. Blaze....all this over a Blaze. Well, well, well. She should of thought of this earlier. Smiling deviously, Helena turned to one of her men while pointing a finger toward Alexis.
"Watch her."
The man looked confused...where was Helena going? She was safer here then anyplace else.
Man: "Where are you going?"
Helena smirked, turning her head toward the monitor, seeing the woman continue to fight.
"To bait the witch."
Turning back toward the man, a malicious laugh began to rumble out of her mouth....she knew exactly where to hit the six. Their hearts. Snapping her fingers, one of her wildpack came to her and placed his hands on her shoulders, and they soon disappeared in a blink of an eye....
---
Reappearing in the library, Helena wasn't Helena anymore....she had glamoured into none other then BLAZE FIELDING. Standing tall, Helena's now dark raven locks cascaded down her ample breasts. Wearing a white robe, she looked goddess-like.
"The powerful SIX, falling apart over lil' ol' me?"
A sadistic smirk appeared on Helena/Blaze's lips. Her emerald green eyes looking DEEP into Morgan's. It was uncanny...it was like Blaze was really there. Her voice, her perfume, her essence. But she wasn't. It wasn't the smartest move to come out of her protected abode, but this was Helena. This was her M.O. She enjoyed torturing her pray. She enjoyed seeing the angst in their eyes. Even if it was for a moment. A millisecond...it was worth it.
"You weren't strong enough to save Blaze...."
Soon, what looked like blood began to pour from Helena/Blaze's throat, like it did that night when Morgan cut her head off with the soul sword.
"What makes you think you're strong enough to save Alexis?"
Tilting her head back, Helena began to laugh devilishly, her laugh echoing throughout the library. The man she arrived with put his hand on her shoulder, but paused.
"Tick....tock....tick....tock..."
Tilting her head from side to side as she said the words "tick tock", Helena was enjoying every moment of this. Smooching her lips up in a kiss, she tauntingly rubbed the salt into the wound. And soon enough, Helena was gone in a blink of an eye.

GASP!
<< she staggered back...as she put her hand over her mouth..chocking with shock and grief..>>
<< as "Blaze's" mouth and neck began to bleed....Morgan covered her face with anguish...and began shaking her head....screaming with disbelief>>

<< turning over to Haleigh>>

:: No. This couldn't start happening again. These fights were the beginning of the downfall that the Six had experienced in the past and Cameron couldn't allow this to happen all over again. He had to say something but he had to choose his words carefully. ::
"Look.. there will be plenty of time to talk, but if we keep wasting time with this.. we could have ANOTHER dead body on our hands, this time Alexis, and I for one.. don't want that to happen..."
:: All of a sudden, someone who appeared to be Blaze appeared in front of the group and he could see the flames of anguish in Morgan's eyes. Helena was one twisted bitch. No. An Asshole. An Asshole with ideas that Cameron himself never would have fathomed of bringing to fruition. If she was going to play dirty, they were going to have to play as well. He turned to Morgan. Nobody would know what to say to her right now. ::
"Morgan.. I, I know I you wish to see me dead, but, but don't let Helena break you down like this.. a Victory with a unified Six would be exactly what Blaze would want. If Helena wants to play dirty, we just have to keep pushing, no holds barred.."
:: Cameron turned to look around the seeming endless hallways of tunnels as he shouted. ::
"Keep Coming Helena.. Oh, I recently got a phone call from the Other Side. It was AJ! Boy did he have some interesting things to say about YOU! It seems one of your hobbies appears to be Homicide! Just wait until I find you bitch.. Just wait..."
:: He wanted Helena to know that he knew about her and her closet of skeletons. It would at least keep her off Alison and Morgan's back who were the strongest and onto Cameron, which would make the team get through the tunnels easier. ::
"Oh yeah, he also said some interesting things about Adam.. But we'll talk about that later!"

Helena once again appeared in her highly secured sanctuary. Folding er arms across her chest, she just laughed. Laughed because she was happy. Laughed because she was excited. Laugh at the pure fact she GOT to Morgan. She completely fucked with their heads. Ooooooh, what a glorious moment. Looking to the monitors, she watched as Morgan, once again, lashed out at Haleigh. EVEN BETTER! She blamed poor innocent Haleigh for what she just did....oh, this was getting better by the minute.
"I just....oh!"
Putting her hand to her chest, a ridiculously huge grin was on her lips. She looked like an actress accepting an award.
"I just feel so GREAT right now! It brings tears to my eyes seeing them fall apart like this. Knowing...they will be dead soon..."
A gleeful laugh could be heard as she continued to watch the screen. But soon her attention went to Cameron. Ahh....the playboy. Well, one of them at least.
"What are you doing little boy...hmm...."
Narrowing her eyes, she saw him shouting into the tunnel...
"Turn on the audio, I want to hear what this maggot has to say."
The silence soon dissipated as Cameron's loud voice began to blast through the speaks. Yada yada yada. She's a bitch. Yada yada yada, he's going to kill her. Same ol' same ol'. But something stopped Helena....
"AJ..."
Clenching her teeth, AJ contacted CAMERON?!!?!?! NO!!!
"WHAT!?!!"
She shouted moving closer to the screen. That insufferable boy! He couldn't even keep his mouth shut when he was dead!
"Well...this changes things, now doesn't it. AJ couldn't stay dead...ohh no....he had to open his mouth even in the afterlife and--"
Stopping abruptly..wait. No...what if AJ told...he didn't. He couldn't of...Cameron would of said something. He would of....Oh hell...
"Dammit. If Cameron finds out...if he knows....If AJ told....We need to kill Cameron King NOW! We cannot afford AJ telling him any more!!"

Haleigh froze, her eyes fixated on "Blaze"... her face paled... and for the entire time "Blaze" was there... Haleigh stopped breathing, her lips slightly parted. She didn't even blink... until Helena disappeared and Morgan started shouting at her... AGAIN blaming her... Haleigh's mouth moved but no sound came out... it was clear that either she deserved an academy award... or she was just as shook up about Blaze as morgan was.
"Morg... I... I'm flattered that you think I'd be capable of pulling that off... But I can't take credit for that trickery..." Haleigh took a deep breath... and her mind raced... she had picked up on certain things... and now she was piecing them together. "No... thats a stunt a Mystech Operative would pull... Psychological Warfare.... its fucking brilliant... they've got our attention, haven't they? but they weren't very convincing.... blaze would never say such hurtful things... and I noticed... she changed from speaking in First Person to speaking in third... She said we were fighting over 'her'... and then right after that claimed we werent strong enough to save 'Blaze'.... no... it wasnt her... all blaze EVER wanted was for us to work TOGETHER.... Its what she died for."

THAT is NOT Blaze, Morgan......its NOT!
::Guardian took, the shaken and visibly distraught Morgan in her arms...and shielded her from the frightfull sight....glaring at Haleigh. and while Cameron engaged Helena...Alison screamed at Haleigh::
"all Blaze wanted was for us to work together...." and YET since you've tried to insert yourself BACK into this team...LOOK at all the strife we've HAD!
why dont you EVER learn to BACK DOWN and think outside of your over sized EGO! We were JUST STARTING TO RECOVER ...and YOU showed up! You GLOAT over the fact that MORGAN was the one who killed her sister...yet YOU were one of the reasons it even GOT to that point...DONT YOU GET THAT!?
All Morgan...ANY of us wanted to do was to recover...to LEARN from our mistakes and move forward. You dont care about anything but yourself. You never have..you're not here for the benefit of this team..you're here to rub it in Morgan's and my face...I'm NOT going to let you do this to her again...im NOT going to let you ruin this ....team....and destroy all the progress that we SUFFERED SO MUCH to make!
::Her next reaction is born from a sense of disgust, dread, and HEARTFELT PAIN...she's losing herself as she feels "control" is leaving her....and Alison thrust her hand forward...and a thunderous wind is heard..as that "rushing" chime sounds off...and Haleigh is TK'ed with the force and speed of a battering ram..shunted out of the library and back into the dining hall, as the massive sliding doors than SLAM SHUT between Haleigh's new location and the Library::
::Alison was always cold, robotic..and analytical...but after the Inferno...she had had some seriously emotionally corrective experiences with her brother and sister. the bridge between them had been repaired...as was evidenced when Alison came to Cameron's aid at the gala...and once again warned him of his own destruction..both within and without. She helped him start on a new path....and now...just as the "team" was starting to truly pick up the pieces, Helena AND Haleigh had shown up..it was a double blow.::
::Alison had shown a sustantially DIFFERENT aspect of her personality at the gala....and now here at the estate...yet ANOTHER side of her was coming out...she would do whatever she felt was necessary as the "Guardian" to protect Morgan and her brother from threats within and without...::
That psychological warfare took its toll on Morgan....We CANNOT go into that passage until something is done about Haleigh...Cameron...you HAVE to do something about her...we DONT want another Inferno on our hands.. YOU know that we've all suffered so hard to make the precious FEW steps forward that we have...i warned you in your suite at the parthenon....DONT let her ruin this for you...for us ALL!
::Alison lead morgan over to a plush chair....and helped her sit down. conjuring a cool wet cloth and dabbing Morgan's forehead...trying her best to calm Morgan down::
dont worry...i wont let her hurt you....i wont let her try to unravel you again. remember....ororo helped you start on a NEW path. DONT let Haleigh derail you...we will help you...but you've got to pull yourself together! You're STRONGER THAN THIS!!
::Alison hoped that Cameron could convince Haleigh to keep away from Morgan and Alison....for the remainder of this caper. Haleigh's presence...was such a painfull reminder for Morgan...and in order for her to function at her best....she did NOT need any provocation from Haleigh.::

:: Cameron watched as Alison so easily eviserated as threw her out of the library and into the dining hall. Prophet sighed deeply as he listened to his sisters words. He half smiled as he walked over to Haleigh. ::
"Keep throwing her around like that and there isn't going to be many body parts left for me to talk to..."
:: Prophet walked over to Haleigh and picked her up as she grabbed his hand. He looked at her completely sincere as he spoke. ::
"Haleigh. I know it hasn't been very long, but a lot has changed. People have changed. It is what death does. It may look like I have it good right now, but let me assure you that I absolutely do not. I am just making the best of a situation. Do you want another Inferno to happen? Do you want someone else to die? Cause next time it could be me, Haleigh. I love you to death and I would kill for you, but I am not ABOUT to die for you. For once, just keep your mouth shut. Keep the comments to yourself. You think it's easy for me to do this either? It's not? It's been hard to supress wanting to say everything on my mind, but neither you or I have the luxury to do so. We can only break people down with words so long before those people start to try and break us back. We caused an Inferno, we caused deaths. We may not have been the ones to commit the crime, but you know as well as I do that accomplices always get in just as much trouble as murderers. We were accomplices, and if you don't cooperate, and work with us, then Haleigh, as hard as this is for me to say, then I don't WANT you here. The decision is up to you..."
:: Cameron looked at his friend. The truth was hard to hear, but Prophet knew well the problems with coddling someone. She needed to hear this from a friend and not an enemy. Maybe it would have some kind of impact on her if it came from him. ::

As Helena stood, watching the monitors, watching her brilliant psychological attack WORK, she couldn't help but smile. The words that not only Alison spoke, but Cameron as well, were exactly what she hoped for. Cameron was beginning to separate from Haleigh...leaving her the black sheep of the six. Alison was in grief over Blaze's death, yet needed to stay strong for Morgan--and soon that strength would take a toll on Alison as well. And Morgan. Her outrage, her anguish. She couldn't of hoped for a better reaction. Although it would be the icing on the cake if Alison just LET Morgan kill Haleigh. One less bug to exterminate.
"Poor Morgan."
Helena said in a taunting tone.
"Who would of thought your ultimate downfall....was yourself."
Her smirk grew, walking further up to the computer screen, allowing her fingers to gently rub against the image of Alison holding Morgan in a hug.
"Don't fret...you'll see your sister soon enough."
Chuckling, Hels turned away from the monitor to face Alexis, who was starting to come to. Ahh, the forgotten one. How perfect---she threw Blaze in their faces and they completely forgot about their poor teammate in need. Strutting over to her niece, Helena ran her fingers through Alexis' hair, ultimately grabbing a handful and yanking her head back.
"And you thought your friends cared. You're always going to be second best, Alexis."
Bending down, she sealed her "meaningful" words with a kiss on Alexis' neck (where her jawline ends and neck begins). Staying there she whispered.
"Always"
Throwing her head forward, she heard the soft moans of her niece as she rounded the chair. Looking to one of her Wildpack members, she smirked.
"Mr. Lavery...I’d like for you to give the six a little, partying gift....

:: A sickening CRUNCH was heard as Alexis screamed in horrible pain. Well, if she wasn't awake before, she was sure as hell now. Her screams changed to tears as she shut her eyes tightly, trying to will away the pain. As "Mr. Lavery" stepped away from Alexis, her head slumped forward. She tried desperately to fry the fucker, but she couldn't even think straight. Helena had pumped her with enough drugs to take down a herd of elephants, even as she was waking fully, her body was too doped up to fight the cruelty Helena was inflicting on her. ::
—
:: Mr. Lavery appeared before the six in the blink of an eye. Suicide mission, yes. But Helena always sacrificed her men in times of much needed....deviltry. Looking to Morgan and Alison, his eyes were shaded by his sunglasses giving him a "secret agent" look. (Think Matrix). This was how all the Wildpack were...not one man was different from the next. ::
:: Outstretching his hand which was in the closed fist, after a few beats, his hand opened and a soft "dinging" sound could be heard. He had dropped a silver ring. To be exact...Alexis' silver ring. The six knew of this ring, she never took it off. The ring had a large sapphire teardrop on it with two diamonds on either side of the sapphire. It was gift from her brother. But now, it was laying on the floor in front of "team" that were supposedly going to rescue her. But oh no....Mr. Lavery wasn't done. He opened the rest of his hand that had dropped the ring, and with a soft thud, Alexis' ring FINGER dropped to the floor next to the ring. Blood splattered around the immediate area....Helena had cut Alexis' finger. A small gift for the grieving team members... ::

They're Like the Tag Team from HELL!
Haleigh glared at Alison... of course, this could be suspected of Alison... and Hales was more than ready to deal with her... when once AGAIN, she was thrown across the room... and into the next. Haleigh landed violently, half rolling, half sliding across the floor. The doors slammed shut, and for a moment, all was quiet in the dining hall... until Haleigh sounded off the longest string of swears she could manage in a single breath. She sat up, staring at the doors... on the other side, the stainless steel chain that held the crystal chandelier in the library suddenly snapped in the most peculiar fashion... sending the chandelier RIGHT towards Morgan and Alison. Cameron came in at that exact moment, bringing Haleigh's attention away from the chandelier. She stared at him with jade eyes as he pulled her to her feet. By the time he'd finished speaking, she'd torn her hand from his grasp angrily and backed away. His words had impact on her alright...but not the kind he'd been hoping for. She proceeded next to spit words she'd later regret:
"You're a fucking COP OUT, Cameron King, and a spineless TRAITOR! People change, things change, and believe it or not... SO DO I! But they can't see that and wont even give me a chance! You know what? You were the ONLY reason I had the strength to return to this godforsaken group, to these people who BRUTALIZED us... and you just collapsed out from under me like a house of cards." Haleigh shook her head in disappointment, the look in her eyes changing from anger to hurt... and for the first time Cameron had ever seen... tears were welling up in her eyes. Haleigh blinked them back as she continued. "WHAT did they do to you? If you were any more whipped, King, you'd be licking their boots. Well I WONT... That woman MURDERED me.... she took my LIFE away.... and I WONT cower to her or anyone else. I love you... I think I always have and I KNOW I always will... no matter what happens between us... but if that's the way you truly feel.... then you can GO TO HELL!"
Haleigh rasped, wiping away the one tear that had fallen, rushing past him without touching him, throwing open the doors that Ali had slammed shut. She was just in time to see the Mr Lavery appear. She immediately drew her weapon, as he produced the finger... She fired once, then again, 'double-tapping' the man. she mentally forced the bullets out faster than the speed of light... so that by the time the muzzle flash was seen, the man had already been hit by both bullets in the head, and by the time the library resounded with the sound of gunfire, the Inner Contents of Mr lavery's head were splattered on the bookshelf behind him. Haleigh had reacted with computer speed reflexes... and she reholstered her weapon as the body fell lifeless to the floor. Haleigh walked over to the body, looking down at the floor. She knelt on the floor, carefully picking up the finger and the ring. out of nowhere, a small metal canister appeared in her hands, and a hales opened it, cold air spilled out of it. Haleigh gently put the finger inside, sealing it tightly and slipping both the canister and the ring into her pockets, where their shapes promptly disappeared, a result of the suit's enchanted pockets. Haleigh went back to the tunnel entrance and stopped at its threshold. She looked at the still stunned group as she drew her weapon, pointing it down into the tunnel.
"I'm going after Alexis.... because she's the ONLY one here who hasn't betrayed my trust." Haleigh looked up at Adrian, the look in her eyes and the shrug in her shoulders telling him that she of course wasn't talking about him... for she'd just met him. She looked at Alison and Morgan, speaking again. "And after I've helped recover Alexis... and help her with her.... family issues... I'm OUT.... No more Six... No More Haleigh Davidoff. I'll leave and you can all snipe about me behind my back without fear of retribution. I'll go back to working intelligence and you can all act like you're better off without me. I dont care what THEY say, [gesturing upwards and then violently pointing in the direction of Morg and Ali] and I care even LESS aobut what YOU say.... so if you have any HORSESHIT... shovel it right on over to King.... because he's MORE than happy to eat it all up."
Her demeanor was cold and impersonal... and she referred to Cameron by his last name... a detachment technique. Haleigh could always get the job done no matter WHAT was going on personally... and that wouldn't change now.... but everyone could see... she was serious... and she was tired of being treated the way she had... and unlike Cameron... she would NOT just bend over and take it from ANYONE... and just like that, she dropped from view, disappearing down into the tunnel. She secured the immediate area and then waited for them to follow... becasue even though she couldn't STAND most of them... she wasnt foolish enough to stray from the group. their strength was in their number.

"Haleigh, don't even act brand new! Double wheeling and dealing have been your middle name LONG before you ever met me or the Six. You are trained in the art of betrayal, deception and detaching yourself from anything involving emotion! Sure they brutalized us Haleigh, but it isn't like we never brutalized BACK! As much as they dealt, we dealt it back to them, with no regret or remorse. That is how we act. We are always looking out for ourselves, and always will continue to do so. I don't know about your life before, but mine was robbed of an entire family! I grow up only to find out I have a sister who stayed in the shadows, too cowardly to show herself, another who is like oil to my water, and a mother who was more hell bent and vengeful than Morgan on her darkest hours! It hasn't been easy, but Haleigh, if there is any chance that Alison and I can come out of this with any kind of a relationship and understanding, hell if I can come out of this with Morgan by my side, then the whole thing will be worth it. I can't just watch out for myself anymore Haleigh, and neither can you. We are the Six, destined to be since our birth, and in order to work as the Six we need to have a bond greater than any partner or friend that you have ever had. We need to be a family!"
:: Cameron turned away. This was the first time anybody had ever heard him talk badly about Erika and his secret hope for a relationship with Alison and even Morgan, which would come as a shock. ::
"It's time to stop kicking ass and taking name.. DAVIDOFF, since suddenly we are too informal for you to use my FIRST name, another detachment technique I am sure you learned well. It is time to cut down your OWN ego, look outside of that box and let go of whatever is holding you back. We all try to be the Badasses, the leaders, there is NO LEADER of the Six and there never will be. It's not called the One, Davidoff. Now I will LET you throw that temper tantrum, because believe me, I have been there before, but if you can't see that I am only trying to keep you alive so that you don't die for a third time, then I don't know what to say!"
:: Suddenly Lavery appeared in front of them as Haleigh made quick waste of his physical form. He caught a glimpse of the Ring and finger. It was Alexis. This is exactly what Cameron didn't want to happen. He didn't want to waste time with arguing when he knew that Alexis was in such dire trouble. Haleigh made her speech and headed back into the tunnel. ::
"This is what I didn't want to happen..."
:: Turning to Morgan ::
"Are you okay? Do you want us to go on without you? Haleigh is not going to separate from us, she isn't that stupid. Are you going to be able to deal with her.. and myself?"
:: He was hoping she would be able to because Morgan's powers and personality would definitely come in handy when the Six would face Helena themselves. ::

<< As Morgan seethed with rage and grief...the darkness in her soul rose up..it showed as the winds and thunder began to climax around the estate. But even as she was prepared to lay waste to Haleigh...AGAIN...ALISON stood in the gap...and trevailed with Morgan through the pain and grief...and helped her CHECK the rage before she relapsed into the aspect of the "dark child">>
<< she eventually exhaled and embraced her "sister" Alison..as she worked through the pain and mental anguish caused by Helena's horrible display. she thought of her mother and ororo...and of the REAL Blaze....but even as she slowly calmed ....a sound was heard..as the large CHANDELIER from the ceiling was falling down toward them!>>
<< was it because of the thunder? was it a freak accident? was HELENA responsible? Morgan wouldnt have guessed that it was actually HALEIGH...but as looked up...her eyes widened>>
LOOK OUT!
<< she pulled Alison to the side and thrust her hand upward...a LARGE stepping disc snaps open horizontally and catches the chandelier as it falls into the disc. its TELEPORTED out of sight in the blink of an eye...and the danger from that has been nullified>>
<< Morgan continued to regulate her breathing as she took the cool cloth and cleaned the tears from her eyes....and slowly composed herself. her icy heart was no longer beating with such grief and rage...and Morgan earnestly steadied her mind and her soul....asserting the CONTROL she promised Ororo she would exercise>>
<< sigh>> Alison.....thank you.....that MONSTER, Helena.....that bitch will get hers!
<<turning to see Cameron...Morgan looked upon him...but there was no immediate recoil or display of disgust on her part...not outwardly at least. hearing his comment and question...>>
<< in an icy voice>>:...i dont know if i'll EVER be "okay". <<continuing to regulate her breathing>> how do you ever recover from knowing you killed your own sister? << her voice was icy..but weak>>....if anyone wanted to take joy in watching me come unglued...i guess the way to do it is more than apparent now right? But I can't lose control....i promised Ororo....i promised MYSELF.
......I cant stop now. Im stronger...more powerful than Helena could ever hope to be.she hit me with her trump card NOW instead of in the final round...and she will DIE regretting it. Alexis needs us....and Alison and I PROMISED we'd watch her back. I have to go to her aid...... I know you want to be here...and that Alexis wants you here...Just...KEEP HALEIGH AWAY FROM ME!
<< This was the most civil and genuine that Morgan had been with Cameron SINCE the Gala. and she noted that she "promised Ororo"...could she have been visited by Ororo the same night that Cameron had his nightmare? Either way....it was definately a small but important step forward. Morgan didnt say anything bad or negative about Cameron..in fact..there wasnt even a HINT of negativity or disgust....just surprising...HUMANITY>>
Let us all go.....together.

:: Guardian slowly...and silently exhaled with RELIEF as Morgan returned to a stable calm...the winds and thunder died down...and Morgan worked throughthe flash of mental distress caused by Helena::
you see....you're stronger than you think.........
:: just then...Morgan shouted and pulled Alison to the side as she dispatched the fallen Chandelier with a stepping disc::
that was no accident...that was HALEIGH!
:: Before she could retaliate...she STOPPED herself...realizing that Helena's psychological ploy had a domino effect..she played on the bitter tension between Morgan, Alison and Haleigh and the distrust between Cameron and Adrian....she used the one thing that could shake up the most powerful members of the team...and leave the rest open for FURTHER turmoil. Alison shook her head as she began to return more and more to her cold, centered, analytical posture.::
its a shame Haleigh can't see the bigger picture. Helena is HOPING that you or i kill Haleigh, Morgan...we'd be doing her job for her...even IF it pleased us both. But we cannot afford to let Haleigh divert us from our course. Alexis needs us....and Helena will do ANYTHING to stop us from getting to her.
:: watching as Cameron walked up to Morgan...the two had a very civil...genuine exchange. Alison watched Haleigh from a distance....::
we dare not trust our lives in HER hands...
:: stopping as Morgan lead them to the passage way and leaning in and whispering to Morgan and Cameron who was still there::
did anyone notice...how suddenly as soon as Helena appeared on the scene...so did Haleigh? and in a COMPLETELY new body no less?
::it was a shocking, yet reasonable observation...but what Alison could be implying was ANYONE'S guess. there a mere STEP from entering the tunnel that lead to the catacombs...Haleigh was already a bit of the way in..::

:: Cameron looked at Morgan with an almost shock as the two exchanged a civil conversation for the first time since they had met each other. It was probably quite surprising to the rest of the group as well. He looked at Morgan before she headed to the Catacombs. ::
"You want Haleigh to stay away from you.. Done.. Now let's go get Alexis.."
:: As Prophet walked towards the Catacombs he would make sure that Haleigh would not get in the way of anything the Six would try to do together. He was still Haleigh's best friend, but at the moment he couldn't think about her, he could only think about keeping the Six together and keeping the group alive long enough to reunite and have any chance of becoming united. He somewhat ignored Alison's comment although it did creep into his brain. He walked in front of Morgan and Alison and stood behind Haleigh, waiting for the adventure to begin. ::

:: As the six trudged down the dark caverns of the catacombs, there was only silence. The occasional dripping of loose water c could be heard. For the most park, the trek seemed to be going smoothly. As they ventured further down the deep tunnel, the opening behind them became smaller and smaller, until soon, it wasn't noticeable. ::
:: After minutes of walking, the six came into a circular cave. The cave had five openings; six including the opening they just entered from. This, was the beginning of a very LONG caper. As many of them believed it would be easy to defeat Helena once encountering her, the actual time it took to get to Helena was a whole different ball game. And in these cases, time was of the essence. They needed to get to the southwest passage way as quickly as possible. But for right now, they were to decide which tunnel to go into next. One took them completely off course, sending them in the complete opposite direction of where Alexis and Helena were. Another trekked for about two miles to a dead end. Another had even more branches off of it, leading to even more confusion later on down the line. Ect. It was impossible to tell which was the best route to choose. The six would actually have to work together to figure out the best plan possible. ::

Haleigh said nothing in return to Cameron...too stubborn and too proud to even acknowledge him. She stood off ahead of the group as they hesitated coming into the tunnel... but not so far off that she couldn't hear what they were saying. Call her paranoid... but if they were going to conspire to kill her... AGAIN... she wanted to KNOW when it was coming this time. She HEARD what Alison suggested... she kept quiet... best not to aggravate a suspicion like that... even SHE could see it was quite a coincedence. She also heard Morgan demand Cameron keep her away... and when she heard Cameron AGREE to do it... she frowned and shook her head. You her bitch now, King? She thought. He wouldn't hear her.
She began walking ahead, leading them into the tunnel, deeper into the dank darkness. Haleigh's irises began to glow like a cat's in the light at night... she could see just fine. When they reached they opening, Haleigh stopped abruptly. Great, just Great, because things weren't COMPLICATED enough already. Haleigh pulled something small from her pocket and stuck it to the cave wall at the mouth of the opening they were coming from.... it glowed a dull green... thinking ahead, Haleigh would want to know quickly how to get OUT of this place when they were making their escape. Haleigh surveyed the various openings.... this was going to be a pain in the ass... and Haleigh could think of ONE way to find the right one in the quickest manner possible... but she kept it to herself. Separating would make them ALL more vulnerable... it was dangerous and risky... and Hales doubted anything she said would be taken seriously at this point. even So... after what Alison had just so subtly suggested... Hales didnt want to give them any more cause for distrust.... so instead she just stood there, brooding silently, waiting for someone else to speak up. She hated not giving direction... but now she had no one to back her up... it was like a captain knowing a mutiny was coming, and trying to ease away from it.

<< Making her way to a basin of sorts....the cave now was rather dark...and the air echoed all around as streams of wind flowed through the cavern....she stopped , along with the others and looked around. noticing that Haleigh placed a marker on a place of the rocky wall, it was a sound move and obviously NO ONE among them would want to venture too deep into this catacombs without a means of escape. Morgan too the opportunity to speak.>>
<< in an icy voice>>: alison wasnt kidding when she said "catacombs"....just look at this place. its a good thing that i can teleport....if things get too harried...i can get us out of here....even if its just to jump to LIMBO and out of a stick situation.
<< having a teleporter in their midst was a DEFINATE advantage for them at this point...and in Morgan's case..there were only a FEW definate ways to BLOCK her teleporting power....but no one, least of all Helena, would likely know what those methods were>>
this path is on a downward incline....and we're obviously UNDERGROUND now. The problem i have now is...i dont know WHERE Alexis is....i have to have AT LEAST spatial coordinates ..other wise....i could risk teleporting us into a vaccum or worse.

"Activate the Energy Net."
Helena demanded as she watched the six enter an alcove. One of The Wildpack made his way across to a panel, pressing a green button scattered around numerous other green buttons. Soon, a soft humming sound could be heard as a net of energy spread across the alcove and the tunnels branching off from the alcove. The energy net caused a "fog" like blocking to Alison's seeing abilities, causing her the inability to sense where Helena and Alexis were. The six were left to pure instinct in which way they were to choose to go.

Haleigh stood back from the group, standing more in the center of the basin than the rest, who were still kind of in the tunnel they came from. She watched Morgan, then Alison. Morgan had asked her to 'see' where Alexis was... a good idea... it would definitely save them some time. But try though she might.... Alison couldn't get a grip on Alexis' whereabouts. Hales furrowed her brow... and clicked on a flashlight, pointing it at the ground, looking closely, as she spoke, to no one in particular, disappointment in Alison's power failure evident in her voice.
"Well... we're just going to have to do this the old fashioned way then." She walked forth slowly, shining the light in various places on the floor of the cavern, which was made of dirt. Her flashlight tracked down one tunnel in particular, it was the one to the left of where they came from. Haleigh pulled out a compass. "Southwest... it makes sense... we're coming from Northwest... they wouldn't want to use the most obvious tunnel, the southeast. I'll bet that leads us way off in the wrong direction. See the packed dirt? every now and then is a partial boot tread... that's the high traffic tunnel. That's the way to go."
She said, still not talking to anyone in particular, as she began down the southwest tunnel.

:: Cameron surveyed the scene as he began to think of his own plan. There were six tunnels, and six people. The logic came to his own head quite easily, though he wasn't sure how everybody else would react. ::
"I am thinking that we each split up and take a tunnel.. Cast some kind of Telepathy spell so that we are able to communicate with each other... whoever finds the right one, we have Morgan teleport the group to that Tunnel? Sure we would have to split up for a bit, but we could surely cover alot of ground and might find some escape routes if the going gets tough..."
:: It wasn't that he didn't trust Haleigh but Helena was not a dumb woman. She wouldn't make it that easy. She knew the powers and abilities of each person in the group and could probably play to their weaknesses. ::
"I trust your training Haleigh, but if Helena is able to block Alison from being able to detect where she is, then I just don't think that she would make the tunnel thing so easy. She knows your training, she knows how you would figure these things out.. I just think splitting up would be the better idea..."
:: In reality, splitting up might not be such a good idea, but it would keep Morgan away from Haleigh and vice versa and since everyone in the Six had some form of a Napoleon Complex, they would probably work better on their own. ::

Haleigh stopped and turned to face Cameron... what was his PROBLEM? Why did he keep opposing her? No doubt Alison would be proud... she'd trained the man against Haleigh..... but Hales was losing her patience. Her hands on her hips, she stared at Cam, took a deep breath, and responded.
"I DON'T. I considered that King... but despite the way we treat each other... we're stronger together... if we split up... we'll each be more vulnerable... When Helena attacked us before, she got her men to take us on separately... and not as a group. It worked, didn't it? Now I think-- Look, you know what? I don't care. You go whatever way you want. But my instincts are telling me that we should STICK TOGETHER, and they are also telling me that THIS is the way to go... So pick a tunnel if you like, or come with me, I'm going down this one."
She said scathingly, pumping the shotgun that just appeared in her hands. It was more than obvious that she was irritated... not just because SOMEONE had opposed her... but because that someone happened to be him. She looked around at the others, waiting for them to speak up.
Adrian let Alison's calculating remark go silently; he instead opted to view the scene unfold before him -- or rather -- his companions unfold, as the three women in his midst yelled at each other. Even as a bystander, he could feel the lash of their sharp tongues ... biting remarks that even the most apathetic of individuals would cringe at.
And all this, he observed with chilling indifference on the exterior. Hands in the pockets of his coat, with his analytical gaze moving back and forth between the banter. Then, before he knew it, an unknown but extraordinarily attractive woman appeared. Judging by the previous argument and the distraught reaction gauged from Morgan, Adrian could only surmirse this beauty was Morgan's lost sister. Though, clearly, the remarks coming from her wry lips indicated that this woman was anything but -- simply that of a similar appearance.
When the rest of the team had finally gotten it together, Adrian followed behind them, processing the loads of information he just absorbed from the various encounters. The man who appeared with Alexis' finger had rattled him slightly, but his intuition that Alexis would endure this charade and they would save her soon, all worked to quell his doubts.
Entering the catacombs, he looked over their dark surroundings and, when indicated, thought about the telling 6-way path coming from the center. As Haleigh's voice logically mapped out the most plausible pathway and Cameron proceeded to disagree, he raised an eyebrow.
For what seemed the first time in a while, Adrian's cheerful voice pierced through the blanket of strain and tension.
"But Haleigh, there's a difference between that situation and this one. That was an ambush, not to mention with countless men. Those tracks and your train of logic make sense, but we have no way of knowing for sure," he said, agreeing with Cameron. "The most efficent way of finding Alexis would be to split up. And, seeing as how we've already received part of her limbs during the time we participated our own little Jerry Springer episode, I think it'd be smarter to catch up on that lost time."
He looked towards Alison, wondering if she now detected another attempt at manipulation. The only way at this point to infiltrate their group was through kindness and neutrality -- everyone was at each other's throats and he could very well benefit from that. But now, as he observed the icy woman, he wondered. She had lost control a while back, and Adrian had accordingly made note of it. Even women like Alison had their Achilles' heel.

Haleigh raised an eyebrow, her gaze shifting to settle on Bane... It was the first thing he'd said in quite a while... Wonderful... just splendid. now their fate rested in Morg and Ali's hands... the women who would likely DIE before ever actually agreeing with a word Haleigh said. She sucked in another breath and smiled... she knew the BEST way to attempt to shoot them down and win over Morg and Ali's agreement was to attack their arguement below the belt... and though it was sneaky and manipulative, something told haleigh that if they split up, they were in for trouble.
"Well.... I hate to say it aloud... and of course you should both know its nothing personal... but we let MEN run our country... and just LOOK where the hell its gotten us today." Haleigh shifted her eyes to Ali and Morg.... trying to decipher if that had done anything... she couldnt tell.. but that was about all the ammo she could think of at the moment... so instead of pushing her luck... she prompted them for a decision. "It's two against one.... I guess that means its up to the two of you to decide where we go from here... Do what you feel is best, It wont hurt my feelings... but whether we separate or stick together... I'm going down THIS tunnel." She gestured down the southwest tunnel, which she was already standing in the mouth of.

Actually.. from a tactical stand point, Cameron is correct. Helena CANT block my teleporting power no matter what she does. We ALWAYS have a way out if nothing else...guaranteed. Secondly....Alison and Cameron have a sibling bond...which allows him to remain in contact with her on some level despite Alison's psi screen...they can sense each other no matter what. so even if we split up....we have connections to each other and I can always bring everyone back together.

:: Alexis began to come to...her eye lids fluttering open revealing that her eyes were rolled into the back of her head. She could hear the mumbling voices of Helena and her men. They spoke of a man....something about the northwest facility? There was more then one place like this down here? Alexis didn't know what to make of this information. Had Helena built another Citadel under Wyndemere? Under her own nose? ::
:: Allowing her head to fall forward, a soft moan was heard, calling attention to herself. Opening her eye lids once more, her blue orbs could finally be seen--although dazed--very much visible. Alexis tried to focus, but it was so hard. Everything was heavy. Everything seemed to hurt. Rolling her head back against the chair, she was able to prop it up long enough to make out the monitors on the wall. Though blurry, she could pretty much make out that what the monitors displayed was the tunnels of Wyndemre....no doubt Helena trying to watch the six's every move. Lifting her fingers up, she pointed them weakly toward the monitors. Even that was strenuous. Closing her eyes, Alexis willed herself to focus. She NEEDED to. She had to get past the fog of drugs to get one surge of electricity; just one little bolt, to fry the monitors. Her head began to pound as she continued to concentrate even harder, and soon, it all paid off. A crackling sound suddenly filled the room as the lights flickered. And one by one the monitors and cameras placed throughout the catacombs, were powered down. ::

"GET THE MONITORS BACK ONLINE!!!"
Helena's voice roared, making it echo throughout the lab like room. She was infuriated that her men would be so incompetent as to allow the surveillance system to crash. Slamming her hands down on the stainless steel desk in front of her, she hung her head, trying to calm herself. Even though Morgan had placed a cloaking spell on the six, she could still track where they were by their progress throughout the tunnels. Case and point, she knew they were inside the first immediate alcove once entering the catacombs. Haleigh's green tracking devise made it obvious. But to see where they would go next was impossible because of the systems failure. But suddenly...a thought accord to her. Alexis had moaned....Lifting her head, Helena turned to her niece. She moaned prior to the systems failure.....
"YOU!"
Storming over to Alexis, Helena forcefully backhanded Alexis across the face, sending her head flying to the left. Blood flew out of her mouth, spattering to the floor. Grabbing her face, she maneuvered it forward so Helena could look into her drugged up eyes.
"You're just prolonging the inevitable, sweets."
Throwing her head back, Helena looked to one of her men.
"DO NOT let her out of your site. Do you understand me!"
Turning back to the monitors, she made her way to them, growling under her breath.
"Get them back online, NOW!"

"FINE. Do what you want, I dont CARE. Now if you're all satisfied that we've yet again stood around and wasted enough time, I'm going."
Haleigh should have known Morgan would agreed with ANYONE before agreeing with her... She had suspected it. and call her conceited, but she'd also suspected that had SHE suggested they split up, they would've ganged up on her and killed her for supposedly working for Mystech... As if she would ever work FOR anyone but herself. It was an interesting thought though... and she noted it... thinking that maybe next time she ought to try reverse psychology instead. She turned on her heel and started down the tunnel, but abruptly stopped.... She slowly looked up walls of the tunnel... "Did you hear that?" she whispered. She had heard it... it was the sound of something electric powering down. A surveilance camera, if she had to guess. "We have to HURRY!" She said quickly, and broke into a jog that quickened to a run. She had no doubt that Cameron could keep up with her... they'd run together before... they'd run for their lives together the night of the citadle caper... but today... it wasn't their lives they were running for... it was Alexis'.

:: Morgan, Alison, and Adrian continued to trek further and further into the winding tunnels, until finally, they reached what looked like another entry into a cave. Much like the one they were previously in. The cave was dark, only lit mildly by Spellbinder's mystic orb. From what they could see of the large area, there were numerous bolders of different sizes, small holes here and there, and an exit about 30 feet infront of them. Other then that, it was pretty much bare... ::

:: The thumping grew louder and louder as Cameron intructed Haleigh to get some light. The smallest of hesitation was dire...especially with an unknown force ahead of them that they could not see. But suddenly, the thumping stopped. All was quiet....nothing could be heard. ::

Haleigh and Cameron covered good ground in their run through the southeast tunnel... Haleigh leading the way steadfastly and without hesistation and Cameron following the sound of her footsteps. But as the thumping began.... Haleigh slowed... they were coming upon a bend in the passage and the noise was getting louder.... Cameron asked her if she heard the continuous noise, and Haleigh slowed to a complete stop, turning on him and staring at him with an amused face. He couldn't see her smirk through the dark... but he could definitely hear the withering sarcasm in her voice.
"Exactly HOW deaf would I have to be to NOT hear that thundering?"
Cameron could tell Haleigh had stopped and turn to look at him, because he could see her green eyes shining like a cat's at night.... she could see through electronic 'night vision' of sorts... so she didnt need a light to guide her... but as Cameron asked her to manipulate the elements, she remembered that he COULDN'T see... and she wondered why he hadn't said anything while they were tearing through to dark like marathon runners.
"Manipulate the elements? Not really... I can manipulate metal and machines..." nevertheless, she clicked on a bright ultralight flashlight and tossed it to him. "Best I can do." He could see her now, and she seemed expressionless as she turned towards the bend in the tunnel, her shotgun appearing in her hands as she lifted to aim, preparing herself for what might be waiting around the corner. She began towards the corner, but Cameron started yelling at someone who wasn't there, and Haleigh swiveled around, lunging at him, clamping her hand down over his mouth and impelling him up against the cave wall, pressing against him to hole him there and listening.
It was too late... the thumping had stopped....She closed her other hand over the flashlight she'd given him and clicked it off, to help them hide in the dark. "Shit." She whispered in his ear, not moving except to glance back over her shoulder. After a few seconds of silence, she finally let go of his mouth, whispering to him, asking for silence and slow movement, as she turned around again and aimed her firearm at the corner of where the passage turned. She took hold of his wrist so he would know she was moving forward, dragging him along behind her as she slowly and silently inched her way around the corner, hoping she could get a look at whatever it was and duck back before it saw them.

:: As Haleigh's head poked stealthily around the corner, VAROOK, a large, 7 foot man/wolf (think Sabertooth), stood there, waiting. His Siberian Husky-like blue eyes shined in the dark as his massively huge hand grabbed Haleigh's throat, instantly throwing her into the side cave wall like a rag doll. Varook roared much like a werewolf as he began to trudge over to Haleigh's location, not even worrying about Cameron. Picking up the dropped shot gun, without struggle, bent it into a "U" shape before throwing it to the side. This MysTech creation was impressive; fearless and brutal. As Haleigh was composing herself from the massive hit against the cave wall, Varook bent down and wrapped his huge hand around her throat, squeezing it like it was a paper cup. Lifting her off the ground, her large 6 inch canines shined as he growled lowly. ::

:: Cameron grabbed the flashlight and thanked Haleigh. They were working just as well as the night in the Citadle together. Suddenly Haleigh pulled him to the side, turned off his flashlight and put her hands over his mouth to stop him. What was going on? ::
:: Prophet soon found out as Haleigh was THRUST into the cave wall as he turned his flashlight back on to reveal a man and wolf combination, who obviously had a pension for shedding some blood. ::
"Oh lord, it looks like an angry Ex of Adrian Lockhart!"
:: He had to try and enfuse some witty sarcasm to the mix, as Cameron and Haleigh always did in these kinds of situations, when he grabbed her again and began to choke her, Prophet sprung into action as electric blue energies began to crackle and fizzle around him as he lashed out with his mind, hitting Varook with great telekinetic force, knocking Haleigh free from his grasp and the mighty beast a good distance away from them. He picked Haleigh up. ::
"Well, let's go get him.. you would think Mystech would learn that we ALWAYS manage to survive these things..."

:: Indeed Prophet's attack was able to save Haleigh, but Varook was unharmed. Merely stumbling back from his telekenetic attack, Varook growled at Cameron whom was helping up Haleigh. Lundging forward, Varook slammed his huge claws into Cameron's side, lifting him over his head, and throwing him away from Haleigh and down the tunnel. Varook was a massive beast, and his strength was phenomenal. Without missing a beat, Varook slashed his claws across Haleigh's torso, howling with fury. ::

:: All was quiet as the three stood in the empty cavern. The mystic orb rose high into the air, revealing rattling was heard, like a maraca. The noise began to escalate, soon, multiplying. Bane, Alison, and Morgan had entered a snake pit. The little ""boulders" scattered throughout the cavern were in fact snakes, bred to be like chamaeleons to their surroundings, in order to strike and kill any predator that came their way. The snakes soon began to unravel all around Bane, Guardian, and Spellbinder. They were surrounding them, prepared to strike at any movement. The rattling was so intense and so loud, it was impossible to hear anything else. As the snakes inched closer, they seemed to grow more fierce, one actual striking near Alison as more ofa scare tactic. It's two inch fangs, dripping with venom that sizzled once hitting the dirt surface....but what they would think were simple snakes, were anything but. ::

Haleigh turned the corner, her gun trained along her line of sight... She saw the eyes... looking RIGHT at her, and even as she tried to sink back behind the cover of the corner, she knew it had seen them... She saw the beast move, fluidly snatching her up by the throat, causing her to gasp and wheeze, dropping her weapon in the struggle to break free, and that she manage... but not by force. the thing had thrown her... and no sooner was she relieved to breathe than she was hitting the wall with such force that she BOUNCED off it and crumpled to the floor.
Haleigh's white 'track suit' was the lastest tech suit design from CI... and like the Z9 that the whole team had worn during the Citadle caper, the Z10 protected her body from impacts and falls... even if it looked like mere cloth.... and the suit, as was already evident and would become more so, had quite a few MORE upgrades than just sheer comfort. Haleigh recovered from the toss more quickly than could be expected... but not quite quickly enough, as Varook 'helped' her up by taking her by the throat once more... Haleigh gritted her teeth, kicking Varook vehemently in the ribs to try to injure him enough to drop her.... Cam stepped in, knocking Varook away and helped Haleigh to her feet and she rubbed her neck. "Thanks... I can tell he likes it a little rougher than I." she joked, staring at her gun, which lay on the ground in disrepair. She glared at Varook..... "Thats a 900 dollar firearm, you forest critter mutant!"
The beast came at them... but this time Hales was ready... she had pulled the knife from it sheath on her ankle, and as it tried for Cameron, Haleigh showed him hard enough to send him several feet away and slammed the blade down into Varook's hand and ripped it back out, her green eyes gleaming as she ducked when it swiped at her. With machine-like precision and speed, she moved CLOSER to the beast, ducking under its arms. It was big and bulky... and Haleigh was small in comparision and much more agile, and she had no problem jamming the long knife into the beast's side as she escaped its grasp by ducking between it's legs. Haleigh dove for Cameron, dragging him away quickly.... she counted down in whispers, and once she hit one, she flattened herself to the floor over Cameron... the Knife handle exploded with enough violent displacement to put a man-sized hole in an armored truck, and the heat and fire from the explosion boomed around them, followed shortly thereafter by the thunderous sound of instantaneous combustion.

:: Roaring, Varook swipped at Haleigh, whom ducked under his arm. Missing her, he turned, but not quickly enough to be stabbed in the back. Arching it, he howled, lifting his head to the cavern ceiling, showing the discomfort. As Haleigh and Cameron dove for cover, Varook reached his large hand around to where the knife was poking out of his back, and ripped it out. Holding it in his hand, he looked down at it, seeing a small red blinking light.... ::
BOOM!!!
:: The cavern and the surrounding tunnels shook violently as the massive explosion flooded the immediate area. Rocks of different sizes came crashing down around Cameron and Haleigh, some undoubtably hitting them. Dust arose everywhere, clouding their vision, but from what they could see, the tunnel was completely caved in, preventing them from continuing down the pathway. Although Varook was destroyed, with Haleigh's explosion, only made their trek down the southwest tunnel even more difficult. ::

:: It all happened so fast. One minute they were being pummeled by Varook and then the next, Cameron found himself completely submerged under rock and debris. He coughed as he opened his eyes and try to move. The rocks wouldn't budge. He lashed out several times with Telekinetic Force until he was able to maneuver his way out of the rocks. He looked around. It was almost complete darkness now. He called out for Haleigh. ::
"Hales!?! Are you okay? Where are you?"
:: He began to try and lift all the rocks up with his mind, but it was pretty heavy and he could only lift about a quarter of the total landslide. ::

Adrian's black-brown eyes flashed as the sound of hissing acclaimed their hearing, a stark contrast to the eerie silence which had earlier permeated their surroundings. While Alison and Morgan cringed and drew together -- infact, creating a temporal barrier, Adrian stood calmly as one slithering lizard moved towards him. He knelt and picked up the creature, feeling oddly at ease.
Though having had a natural inclination to reptiles, these vicious snakes would make even the most tempered of snake-lovers flee, yet Adrian would do no such thing. Logic surrendered to Adrian's irrational impulse.
The snake twisted voraciously, his venomous fangs extended, and quickly bit into Adrian's forearm. Adrian flinched once; a vein in his throat swelled slightly, and the snake continued biting at him, leaving two small marks in a sporatic trail across his flesh.
Adrian felt the abrupt delirium that accompanied the absorption and replication of venom in his veins. The bites became less vicious, less decisive, and soon the snake ceased its attack. It coiled gently around his hand. Adrian stared at it, perplexed, while the small incisions quickly healed themselves.
Looking out now at the surrounding snakes, they all seem to have stopped their attacks, their attention riveted on Adrian. He stroked the silken flesh of his snake and walked forward. The snakes around the immediate area moved to make way, but continued in their passive behavior, with their forked tongues flicking out into the air around him.
He turned to Alison and Morgan, for once at a loss of words, but aware of a very real serenity.

:: The snakes indeed stopped their attacks, all eyes seemingly looking toward Adrian...but what Adrian's cocky misleading mind didn't comprehend was that they weren't stopping because of him....they were stopping because of her. Exiting from the large archway(the exit), a HUGE brown snake appeared (think Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets). The snake slithered out with great speed, flipping it's tail toward Bane which slammed into him. Bane went souring into the air. Hissing with anger, the baby snakes quickly slithered away, leaving only it's mother. Sitting upright, the snake barely touched the 30 foot tall ceiling. It's fork tongue extending down, sniffing out Alison and Morgan, then to Bane. Opening it's large mouth, 10 foot fangs emerged from it's mouth as it hissed viciously. True Bane's unique ability to control toxins made him almost immune to these reptiles, but the bite force alone, along with its 6 inch in diameter fangs, would ultimately kill a person if this mama snake attacked. ::
:: Lunging forward, the snake set it's eye's on Bane first and foremost. It's speed was remarkable. For a huge creature, it still had the speed and agility of a normal size snake. Snapping it's head forward, she slammed her fangs down to Bane's body. ::

The surrealistic situation ended abruptly; Adrian soared through the air and slammed into a wall of the cave. As the enormous snake encroached upon him, his black eyes flashed maliciously. Though slightly winded and delirious at the after-effects of the toxins, his calculating nature showed through in this moment of peril.
Ready to melt the impudent snake, Adrian suddenly found himself teleported to a location behind Alison. He bit back a hiss, half-angered, half-surprised as hordes of demons surrounded the immediate area and teared at the mother snake. He squinted and stepped back, observing the powerful glow of the virus radiating from these creatures, akin to the energy around Haleigh.
Dizzy and light-headed, Adrian stepped back and steadied himself against a wall. Beads of perspiration gleamed on his forehead. He felt parched and alarmed. Adrian had never been attacked by a snake, though many venoms in his arsenal were of similar chemical composition. He now scolded himself for his initial stupidity, and could only hope that the consequences would not be dire.

:: Roaring, the mother snake thrashed her tail from side to side, knocking demons away left and right. Biting down on some, crushing others as she slithered to try and keep them from swarming. But as more and more came, the more the mother snake couldn't keep up. They were like killer ants. They engulf you until you can't fight back. Swinging her head from side to side, a horrible screetching noise was heard as the TO virus began to take over her body. Loosing strength, her head collapsed to the ground, making the entire cave shake. The demons continued to eat her...not taking any mercy. And soon, the giant snake and the majority of her babies were dead. ::
:: So far, both teams had defeated Helena's traps. The snake pit was obviously aimed toward Morgan, and Varook was an obvious oaf that was sent to try and stall Haleigh and Cameron's trek. Though Varook failed, the tunnel had completely caved in, severing their pathway to where they believed Alexis was behing held. And as for Morgan, Alison, and Bane...they were triumphant. However Helena was unaware...Still working on her servalance equipment, she still couldn't see where the team was in her tunnels and how reliable her traps were. "I'm over here. I'm fine. Are you hurt?"
Suddenly, he could see, as the room flooded with light, Haleigh now handing him another flashlight. She looked up at the barricade and whistled. "Hmm.... ain't that some BULLshit? Haleigh huffed, standing back as Morgan and Alison blasted through the barricade. Lofty, showy bitches, aren't you? She thought with contempt, as she broke into a run of her own to follow them. They slowed as they reached an opening... a control room of sorts. Haleigh looked around, and as she did, the several cameras in the area sparked and the red lights on them dimmed.
"Don't worry... I'll overload the cameras as we go... she wont be watching us anymore... now.. I've been developing a DNA locator system at CI... let me field test it... see if we can't get a fix on Alexis. Supposedly... you cant hide from this."

They were pinned down tight. Gritting her teeth, Alexis tried moving her legs, but they too, were impossible to move. Please work.. Alexis pleaded with herself as she clenched her hands into fists and closed her eyes. But because of the drugs, her powers weren't as strong as they normally were... ::

:: Cameron was shocked to find Haleigh completely fine and almost without a scratch. He hugged her deeply. ::
"Oh Thank God!"
:: He looked to her quickly and sighed ::
"I don't know, let's just get out of here..."
:: Suddenly there was a disruption as Alison and Morgan along with Bane made their way over to them as Morgan quickly dispatched a Camera over Haleigh's head as he smirked and looked, actually extremely happy to see them. ::
"I never thought I would say this, but man I am happy to see all of you..."
:: The happiness was derailed when they heard the noise of what sounded like a truck backing up. Bright red lights filled the tunnel and soon faded away. Everyone stopped. ::
"Okay...What is that? What were the lights for? And the sound, maybe an invisible truck? Let's stay on guard...And I will take care of the wildpack..."
:: He was going to finish his sentence but suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his head. Cameron felt like he was having an anuerism, it hurt so bad. He fell against one of the cave walls as his eyes began to roll so far back in his head as all that could be seen were the whites of his eyes. What was going on? His body began to convulse, like he was having some kind of seizure, though the Six had seen some crazy things, this was going to be hard to witness, and rather shocking. ::

:: Images began to flood Cameron's head, a jumble of voices filling his eardrums. Everything was so fast, so sudden. He couldn't make out one image from the next. Who's voice was who. The pain was intense, the feeling began to make the telepathy physically sick to his stomach. Then soon, everything went white.........everything was quiet...until a scene began to unfold within Prophet's mind. ::
FLASH IN FROM WHITE
Adam rounded his desk, looking to the clock seeing she was 10 minutes late. Typical.....Lifting his eyes to his office door, the knob turned and soon pushed open, revealing Helena Quartermaine. She made her way into the office; they were both obviously acquainted with one other. "Is it set." Echoed Adam's voice as he spoke to Helena. "Yes...I'll educe Monica's labor tonight." Helena said calmly as she lifted a small vial of liquid from her purse, showing Adam. "Just keep to your end of the bargain." She continued on as Adam nodded in agreeence. "I kill your wretched sister-in-law, Monica, take the baby, and disappear." Helena grabbed Adam's forearm. "Remember. Do NOT kill my brother. Get in there and get out before he knows what hit him. Do you understand me?" Adam's lips curled into a smirk. "Perfectly..."
FLASH
Monica held baby Alexis in her arms, the room serine for only mere seconds. Suddenly what looked like male nurses (WildPack) stormed into the room, ripping Alexis out of her mothers arms. Baby Alexis began to scream as Monica frantically looked to the male nurses for any indication of what was going on. "What are you doing?!" She screamed. Alan grabbed one of the nurses biceps, pulling him to a halt. But before he could do anything, Adam appeared in the doorway, thrusting his hand into Alan's direction, releasing a massive energy bolt into the man's chest. Alan flew back, hitting the opposing wall. Monica screamed, tears rolling down her cheeks. "ALAN!" Adam waved his hand to Monica, unleashing the same energy bolt, killing her instantly. Alexis continued to wail on....
FLASH
Clicking of heals echoed as Helena entered the hospital room. Monica laid dead in her bed....and Helena's eyes fell upon Alan. "NO!" Helena hurried to her brother's side, placing her hand on his cheek. Alan's glazed over eyes looked up at his sister. "You....did....this...." Alan managed to say before his eyes rolled into the back of his head and died. "Adam Chandler! You snake!" Growling, Helena looked down at her brother, caressing his face with her hand. "Don't worry...I’ll get you out of this.."
FLASH
Alan laying on what looks like a hospital bed surrounded by MysTech equipment. His chest moving showing that he is in fact alive.
FLASH
AJ walking into a pure white compound, seeing his father laying on the bed. "Dad...."
FLASH
Helena grabbing AJ from behind, stabbing a huge dagger into his back. "You just couldn't leave well enough alone..."
FLASH OUT TO WHITE
:: It was over within seconds. Everything was so fast, so rapid...AJ had contacted Cameron one last time to give him the message that he had been trying to give all along. The message that Helena and Adam were working together. They planned to murder Monica. They planned for Adam to raise Alexis. Everything that Alexis thought she knew was only surrounded by a web of lies. Helena had infact killed AJ to keep him quiet....to keep him quiet about the fact that Alan was STILL ALIVE. He was in a compound located within the same catacombs that Alexis and The Six were in.....The truth was finally out. ::

Her handheld read 'LOCKED ON TARGET', and Haleigh looked up at the others. "Ive got her..." Haleigh began, but her attention was drawn to the 'docking truck'. She instinctively began backing out of the open, scanning the room for cover. Spellbinder seemed to read her mind, and assured the group that her cloaking spell was in effect. Haleigh nodded and stopped moving, tilting her head as she thought about what Spell had suggested.
"Well... i dont know about the energy part... but if I knew what to target as far as systems goes..." She said absentmindedly, walking over to the control deck. She began tinkering with toggles and dials, every now and then stopping to frown. "It seems she locked the controls to keep us from changing anything if we got this far. Paranoid bitch." Haleigh pulled a small box from her pocket... it had four metal spikes in each corner... and haleigh slammed it into the control deck and flicked the switch. The whole board sparked and sizzled. A small speaker on the deck announced its intentions. "Circuitry overload. System shutting down. Reverting to defaults." Haleigh looked up at Alison... waiting to see if there was a change. "Alison? Things clearing up, or is it still foggy up there?"
Haleigh's attention was once again jerked towards something else... Cameron was subjected to an attack of body seizures... Haleigh, alarmed, rushed to his side as he fell against the wall. She immediately pulled his head to her chest, lowering his body to the ground, kneeling, trying to subdue the violence somewhat. "Cameron?? Cameron?!" She managed, her voice panicked. His convulsions were violent enough to move both of them... but she held his head and jaw to keep him from hurting himself too badly, biting his tongue or giving himself a concussion... cradling him best she could in her lap, her worried eyes traveling up to Alison. "Tell me this will pass quickly..." she pleaded, a compassion in her voice that Alison had never known to come from Haleigh before.
Biting back a snide response, Adrian felt himself enveloped in a disc and transported to Cameron and Haleigh. As he followed both Alison and Morgan through the blasted pathway, he furrowed his eyebrows at the veins in his arms, where blue veins had begun gaining a green tint. A hurried swipe covered the evidence with coat, and Adrian walked more briskly; he ignored the shaking in his head.
One thing was clear: the chemicals were taking far too long to absorb into the bloodstream. Fucking snake, he despaired, as they finally came to the control room. Once Haleigh drew out a machine and began a trace for Alexis', he peered over her shoulder. Adrian hadn't bothered to mention that it would be unnecessary to even worry about their enemies, as they too would fall to his pheromones. Though, at this point, the buzz in his head wavered the certainy in Adrian's mind. Red letters blurred.
But he didn't say anything, because hell would freeze over before he asked a woman for help.
Lifting his head at the sound of the docking truck, Adrian warily assessed the darkness. He was thrown out of his meditations by Cameron, who was spurred into convulsions by some mysterious catalyst. Looking on at Haleigh, who rushed to his aid with a surprising warmth, Adrian raised his eyebrows in mild interest. Another moment to catalog in his crisp memory, even now, in spite of the shrill ringing resonating through the dark caverns of his mind.
He walked over to the kneeling Haleigh and Cameron, looking like the angel of death with his fanned black coat. Adrian stared down at Cameron, assessing the man's physical health. in spite of a relatively small knowledge base about anything unrelated to sex, entertainment and money, Adrian had passionately studied biochemistry and pre-med in college to tune in to his abilities, and perhaps subconsciously make some sort of vague connection with his dead parents. Now analyzing the shaking man, Adrian could see no outward sign of something wrong. Reaching out to grasp Cameron's wrist, Adrian silently measured his pulse. Fine. Everything was fine. But it wasn't.
"What's wrong with you," Adrian muttered peevishly to himself, and absent-mindedly wiped away at his sweaty brow. The ringing had become rhythmical, and flashes of dirt and animalistic screams clouded his mind. "Whatever is affecting him ain't in his body," he said outloud. A tap of his fingers ellicited a minor seditive that instantly quelled Cameron's wringing body to small, manageable spasms of the limbs.

::Guardian reacted very slightly as she felt the "fog" being lifted from her foresight...thanks to Haleigh. She nodded when Haleigh asked of "things were clearing up"...but soon the more pressing matter of Cameron took center stage as he began to suffer from a violent convulsion...and fell into Haleigh's arms. Alison turned her head quickly and fixed her colbalt blue eyes on him as she went over to his side::
::kneeling down slightly...her voice was cool and analytical even in the face of it::
despite this violent reaction, there realy ISNT anything to be alarmed about. He's being touched by a spirit that has crossed over. its the first THOROUGH manifestation of this new power he has gained. He's being touched by the spirit of Alexis' slain AJ. WHAT he is being told i couldnt guess....but it is very thorough...we will learn a crucial piece of information once Cameron has recovered. in the meantime....we need to stay where we are. Morgan's spell keeps us hidden for now...but the moment we move to act, it will be broken as she will be using her magicks for other things.

:: As soon as it had began, it had ended. Though he still felt completely drained, as if his immune system had shut down. He fluttered his eyes opened to find pretty much everyone staring at him with wide eyes. He saw Haleigh next to him as he coughed up a patch of blood and spit over to the opposite side of him. He wiped his lip and tried his best to speak. ::
"It was AJ...I know everything. I know everything... Alan is still alive..."
:: He cleared his throat one more time as he began to more clearly vocalize what he had seen and what had been going on inside his head. What AJ had shown him. ::
"I saw the entire thing.. The whole plot. Helena and Adam were working together the entire time. They induced Alexis' mother's labor and were going to kill her so that Adam could steal Alexis and raise him as her own. He was told not to kill Alan, Helena's brother but he did. Helena used the technology of Mystech to keep him alive. He is in a compound somewhere. AJ found the compound and his father. That was where Helena killed him. She stabbed him to death..."
:: He took a moment for the Six to have the information to sink in. Cameron wasn't sure how he would ever be able to bring this up to Alexis, but he knew that right now he only wanted to save her. He couldn't tell Alexis if she was dead, though he laughed to himself, maybe with this new power he could, but it wasn't a chance he was willing to take. ::
"This is pretty much all Helena's revenge. We took care of Adam for her and now she is getting rid of the only living link to Alan. Alexis."

Helena turned her attention to the sealed compound doors hearing the loud beeping from out in the tunnels. No....they couldn't. They were here?!! The beeping was more of an alarm the anything else--a last resort incase there was a systems failure.
"KILL THEM!"
She screamed as all the WildPack turned to their mistress, complying. Disappearing from the compound, Helena turned to Alexis. Her glare was intense....
"You caused all of this you insolent brat!"
Grabbing a syringe from one of the metal trays aside of her, Helena stormed over to Alexis, raising the needle high into the air, prepared to stab down.
---
Within the tunnels, the beeping suddenly stopped. The red light dimmed, and soon everything was quiet. A soft whistling could be heard ; the situation seemed almost climatic. Suddenly clunking of combat boots could be heard as 20 WildPack members came jogging into the corridor, but as they reached the location of The Six, they couldn't see them. They looked around intensely, knowing they were here....Standing prepared to attack, the WildPack didn't let their guard down. The Six were going to strike, it was just a matter of time.

:: Alexis' eyes met with Helena's glare....common. Break, break! Alexis watched as Helena picked up the syringe in a fury. Her heart began to beat fast, her breathing picking up. As Helena stormed up to her, raising the syringe into the air, Alexis yanked her wrists up, breaking the chains that were strapping her down. Grabbing Helena's arm, she struggled to hold the syringe back. Her strength was still weak; the meta human was running off pure adrenaline. Clenching her teeth together, her face tightened as Helena slowly but surely began to inch the needle close to Alexis' body. With one last effort, Alexis sent a surge of electricity into Helena's arm while pushing her away. Helena went flying back. ::
:: Looking down at her ankles, she frantically moved them around, trying to break the heated chains. Her eyes moved up to Helena who was coming too. Shit. ::
"Common!"
:: Finally, the chains broke! Alexis jumped up out of the chair, head spinning, very disoriented. But she needed to get out. Stumbling forward, her hand immediately went to her forehead. She continued to take a stride forward, running to the exit. ::

Flying back away from Alexis, Helena was sliding to a hauled along the smooth white marble flooring. The syringe rolling off to her side. Laying still, her head throbbed, but sure enough, she began to come to. Lifting her head off the ground, she began to push her weight up with her arms. Moaning, her eyes soon glanced over to Alexis. She was free.
"NO!"
Helena lunged forward, grabbing Alexis' ankle. She fell immediately, but continued to struggle.
"CONTAIN HER!"
WildPack suddenly appeared in the room, grabbing Alexis by the arms and lifting her up like she was weightless. One WildPack member came to the assistance of Helena, helping her to her feet as well.
"Dispose of her! Immediately!"
She yelled, her voice showing signs of anger and fear. She knew the six were outside the door and down the hall. She knew it was only a matter of time....She needed to get to Alan. Running toward the back exit, she slammed her hand onto a green button as the white door slid open. Running out the door, Helena dissapeared.

:: Alexis fell to the ground with a thud. Looking back to Helena, she had her by the ankle. Kicking her leg, she managed to get free from Helena's grasp...but to only be surrounded and subdued by WildPack. Screaming, Alexis cried out with a mixture of anger and frustration. ::
"NOO!!!!! NO!!!"
:: Her screams could be heard from the tunnels, very faint, very muffled, but indeed heard. The WildPack held onto Alexis securely, tazoring her in the stomach to keep her from struggling. Screaming with pain, she hunched forward to only be pulled back into an upright position by Helena's goons. Her legs gave away leaving the men to basically hold her up....Alexis was so battered at this point by beatings and drugs, it was a miracle that she was even conscious at this point. ::
:: The men began to drag her over toward a white table. Fighting with everything she had, Alexis screamed out trying to wriggle her way out of their grasp. But suddenly, something caught her eye. The syringe Helena had dropped. Quickly, Alexis moved her arm toward her face and quickly bit down with all her might, onto the hand of the WildPack member that was holding her. He shrieked, letting go instantly. Pulling away, Alexis dove for the syringe, but the other man that was holding quickly grabbed her. Struggling, she sent a surge of electricity throughout his body subduing him for mere seconds. That was the only power she seemed to be able to tap into at this point...but whatever worked. Within those few seconds, Alexis reached for the syringe, her finger tips grazing it. The man whom she bit quickly dove toward her, grabbing her by the waist. ::
"NO!!"
Clenching her teeth, she was only a few centimeters away. Just a few!! Struggling, the man tried to pull her back, but with a miraculous turn of fate, Alexis reached forward one last time and finally wrapped her hand around the glass needle. Turning toward the WildPack member, she slammed the needle into his neck, pushing down injecting him with whatever liquid was in there. Scrambling away, Alexis watched as the man began to struggle for air....his face went pale. His veins bulged out of his skin in a disturbing black olor. Choking on his own vomit, some managed to escape the corners of his mouth, until finally, he fell back, dead. ::
:: Panting for air, Alexis was wide eyed and scared. She was actually scared. She had no idea what to do at this point. She was too weak to fight; everything that had just happened was out of pure fate. Perhaps AJ was watching over her....next time think before you act. As she scolded herself silently, her attention turned to the groaning man that she electrocute. ::
"Shit..."
:: Pushing back away from him, she began to crawl toward the exit. Her head was still throbbing, her limbs felt like jello. She just wanted to reach the exit. She needed to get out of here! ::
"HELP!! HELP ME!! PLEASE!!"
:: Her screams were panicked as she continued to look back at the WildPack member whom was continuing to wake up. Looking around the doorway, she saw the green button. Hope! There was hope! Lifting herself up with the aid of the table next to her, Alexis hunched over it, looking back at the man. He spotted her. ::
"No no no no ...."
:: Slamming her hand into the green button, a buzzing sound was heard as the door began to slide open. Diving forward, Alexis didn't even look to the doorway, her eyes were fixated on the man inside. But soon....everything was shot to hell once more. As she fell through the doorway into the tunnel The Six were located in, she didn't hit the ground. She was caught. Looking up, she was once again caught by the WildPack. ::
"NOOOOOOOO!!!! NO! LET GO OF MEEE!!"
:: Screaming, Alexis was so frustrated and upset at this point, visible tears could be seen pouring out of her eyes. Everywhere she turned the WildPack was there. So overtaken by emotional distress and pure hatred at the fact she was caught again, she didn't even see The Six down the hall...they were so close. ::

Adrian's initial reaction was to shrink away from these men, all with murderous gleams in their eyes, lecherous grins on their faces, and the morbid sheen of metal weaponry in their hands. He stood up abruptly from Cameron, who had given information which was nigh useless to him, for he knew little of Alexis' past, and pulled his coat about him.
And then Adrian Lockhart opened his mouth and sang.
To the ears of the rest, who had been accustomed to hearing the superficial charm layering his voice, the sudden resonation of smooth, baritone notes was a huge deviation -- an enchanting one. Recently discovered by Adrian, pheromones could be transmitted through sound much more effectively than through air. While not nearly as powerful as a channeling through touch, these soundwaves served as an effective aphrodisiac to large crowds. Little wonder the celebrity had broke record numbers with his first single ever only three weeks earlier.
A drowsy look of complacency befell the hundreds of Wildpack members at the sonorous voice, which hummmed a synergy of vague sounds and notes. Nothing intelligible, but utterly toxic. They swayed gently, their weapons long forgotten, and stared at Adrian, who stood in the center of attention.
Heaven on earth lasted a little while longer, and then ended. "Boys," Adrian said smoothly as they hung on to his every word, "Kii...."
The ringing in his head now defeaned any thought, any senses, and fatigue overcome him. Adrian collapsed, before he could offer his one, all-encompassing command to do away with these nuances. In an uncanny speed, Morgan seized the window of opportunity to use her stepping dics and damn the rest of the Wildpack to the land of Limbo, the painful transition from their rivieries to a land of hell echoing in haunting shrieks across the tunnels.

But before she could attempt to escape again or call out for help, the two men grew restless and one swiftly slammed the butt of his gun into the nape of Alexis' neck, knocking her out cold. As her body went limp, the men continued to drag her back to toward the table in which they were originally taking her. ::
Man: "Get the syringe, quickly. We don't have much time."
:: The WildPack were like dogs. They lived to please their master and would do anything to get the task at hand done. Whether it meant risking their lives to do so. Sprinting down the dark tunnel, Helena finally reached a silver steal door that was sealed. Lifting up the cover to the keypad aside of the door, she punched in a seven digit code and soon the door opened with ease. Not even bothering to wait for the door to slide open completely, Helena squeezed er way in through the growing space and ran to Alan's side.
"We need to get you out of here."
Ripping out the different wires and tubes that were surrounding Alan, Helena looked toward the doorway hearing the screams and commotion echoing throughout the tunnels. They were so close. Looking down at Alan, she couldn't move him alone, and she couldn't escape with him. The psi screens were down. The computer systems had crashed. It was hopeless and Helena was naive to think otherwise. She paused, staring down at her brother.
"....I can't die for you..."
Picking up a syringe from a tray aside of Alan's bed, Helena looked down at his comatose body. Ten years of keeping him alive. Ten years of keeping this secret from the family, all a waste because of THE SIX. Gritting her teeth, Helena actually looked pained as she stabbed the syringe into Alan's arm, injecting him with the toxic liquid. Closing her eyes, she placed her hand on his cheek.
"..I'm sorry."
She whispered as she dropped the needle to the ground. A small click was heard, and soon the room was silent. Only the faint screams of her men could be heard.

Haleigh held Cameron as both Adrian and Alison came over and assured her it was nothing to worry about. really? because it didnt SEEM like nothing to worry about. Adrian gave cam a sedative and the convulsions softened... and Haleigh looked up at Adrian. Something was off... he smelt...chemically unbalanced.... ill. She was about to ask him about it.... when Cameron woke up. Haleigh finally exhaled, realizing she'd been holding her breath, and listened to what Cameron was saying. It really went over her head, all of it... because Haleigh came into this rather late and pretty much knew that Alexis was in trouble... and that was the scope of it. She thouroughly dislike being underinformed... and so soaked up whatever info she could get like a sponge.
"Well.. Alexis is like forty feet down that hall... so lets get her first."
She suggested. No sooner had she than they were swarmed by Wildpack men. Haleigh was more than ready for them this time, and a new shotgun appeared in her hands. She got off a few shots, pumping and shooting, the 'birdshot' style ammunition making a mess of the mens bodies from just a few feet away. But they kept coming, closing in on her from behind, and Haleigh dropped the weapon and resorted to more brutal tactics. She grabbed the man who was trying to subdue her from behind by the jaw, and in a show of machinelike strength, CRUSHED his jawbone. She elbowed him fiercely, sending him flying to the ground. A man in front of her swung at her, and she caught his wrist, pulled him towards her, and literally ripped his throat out. A third man was a little smarter, and kept his distance, instead shooting at her with an automatic machine gun. the bullets hit Haleigh's chest but were stopped by her suit, though the concussive force knocked her back to the ground. And then suddenly, they all stopped... Adrian was doing something to them.... and then Morgan was sending them all to Limbo. Haleigh got back to her feet... as Morgan glares at her. The two lock eyes, as Morgan challenges her... Haleigh gives her the once over, a look of icy hatred and resentment crossing her face. A single melancoly thought crosses her mind. Is this the monster Blaze had to face, the last thing she saw? Haleigh forced herself to remain quiet, refraining from asking that particular question. Now was certainly NOT the time. Not after her and Morg had been working... not together... but coincidental to each other for quite some time. Guardian distracted Morgan away, and Haleigh's attention was left to the boys as Morgan and Guardian ran off together. Haleigh checked Bane's pulse... he was still alive. she grabbed Bane by the collar of his shirt and dragged him along behind her.
"Stubborn son of bitch. Wouldn't ask Morgan to heal him. NOW what good is he? Of course.... I can't REALLY be angry with him.... I wouldn't ask that sociopath for any help either."
She told Prophet, as they began to make their way after Morg and Ali. She could hear Morgan wiping even more men out, and then the violence quieted. Haleigh heard Morgan ask Alison to take her to Helena, and as they came out into the hall, upon seeing Alexis unconscious in Morgan's arms, Haleigh spoke to them, still dragging Bane along behind her as they caught up.
"Morgue.... let me me carry Alexis... I'm already weighted down with Boy Wonder over here... I can protect the fallen while you, Alison and Cameron deal with Helena."

:: Alexis slowly began to come to, moving her head to the side and allowing her eyes to flutter open. Her head was throbbing and the back of her neck was sore as hell. Fucking WildPack. Hearing the faint mumbling of voices, Alexis looked up and through her blurred vision was able to make out Morgan. The horns were a bit of a give away. Groaning, she lifted her hand up to her forehead, massaging it. ::
"Christ.."
:: She mumbled in an annoyed voice. Hearing Haleigh suggest that she could carry Alexis while they found Helena, Alexis slowly shook her head. She needed to get Helena back, regardless of how horrible and weak she felt. ::
"No...I'm fine."
:: Closing her eyes tight once more, she opened them trying to clear up her vision. It worked somewhat, but for the most part it was still pretty foggy. Moving her leg from Morgan's arms, she held onto the blondes neck for support as she placed her feet firmly on the ground. ::
"That psychotic bitch..."
:: Pausing Alexis pointed toward another door in which she saw Helena exit from after their struggle. ::
"She ran out there.....I-I don't know where she went. I was attacked by the WildPack before I could attempt to follow her."
:: As she stood, Alexis continued to have her arm wrapped around Morgan's neck for support. Though much stronger then before, the meta human was extremely weak from the relentless attacks and tortures from Helena and her men. Her body had seemed to go numb as the minutes went on...the pain from her wounds didn't even effect her at this point. She just wanted to get to Helena, and fast. ::

:: Closing her eyes, she felt like she was outside on a cool winter day. Goosebumps rose from her skin as Spell's magick began to heal Alexis' wounds. As the mugick faded away, the meta human opened her eyes...everything was clear. Her head stopped throbbing, her visable wounds were gone. Even her finger that had been cut had come back. Running her hands through her fingers, a look of relief had washed over the beauties face. ::
"Thank you....all of you."
:: Her voice was low and calm. Honestly with the amount of tension between the members of the group, Lex had her doubts about if they were even going to make it this far without killing each other. But seeing them here all together, as a whole, only further showed the progression of this group. Of course there was still very high tension between the members of the six--there was always tension between the members of the six--but atleast it didn't stop them from getting to their goal. ::
:: Walking forward, she watched as Morgan forced open the metal door. The high pitched griding of metal made the blonde flinch a bit, but soon the 'nails on the chalkboard' sound stopped. The door was open. ::
"We need to hurry.."
:: Turning to Guardian, she knew Alison knew where Helena was. She could sense her now, unlike before. But what Alexis didn't know was that everyone else knew where she was too--Alan's compound. Cameron couldn't tell her now, but he would need her knowledge in what she had seen in the Catacombs already to help them navigate. ::
"Alexis.. Were you ever near a room that was like solid blinding white? Did you ever see Helena come out of a room like that? I need to know..."
:: He looked around for the best possible location for this supposed white hospital looking room. Would she even still be there? What if she took Alan and fled? Cameron wanted to kill Helena so bad. Worse than ever before. Now that he knew Alexis was okay, Cameron had nothing to lose. ::

Helena's head shot toward the door, seeing Alexis, Morgan, Alison, Adrian, Haleigh, and Cameron appear. Before she could react, Alison sent her flying into the opposing wall, hitting it with a massive thud. Sliding down the wall into a heap on the floor, Helena coughed trying to catch her breath. Vision blurred and head spinning, Helena opened her eyes seeing Alexis reach Alan.
"You're too late. He's already dead."
Shifting her eyes to Adrian, Helena continued, very coldly and hostilely.
"Save your efforts boy."
Pushing herself upright, Helena slowly stood. Her end was near, it was apparent. With all of her WildPack exterminated like bugs, she had nothing left but her power to glamour, which was less then effective against the six. Holding herself steady with the wall's support, she looked to Alexis.
"At least I'll die knowing you never saw your father alive."
Her tone was sadistic. Even with death knocking on her door, she couldn't help but to rub salt into the wound. As she stared deep into her nieces eyes, Helena's body suddenly burst into thousands of black wasps, surrounding the six in the small compound. The buzzing was so loud it was hard to hear anything else. The wasps seemed to forum a tornado like shape as they soon surrounded only Alexis. Finally, Helena appeared in her true forum, holding Alexis from behind.
"See you in hell."
Slamming her forearm into Alexis' back, she had glamoured it into a large double edged blade. Ripping through Lex's flesh like a knife through butter, the end of the blade ripped out the front of Alexis' stomach, blood pouring out from the exit wound. Helena backed up to the wall behind her, dragging Alexis with her. She refused to let the woman go. Looking to the six, a nervous yet malicious smile was on Helena's lips. Her eyes fell onto each member...
"Haleigh Davidoff. Risen from the dead to only be rejected by the only people you've ever put your life on the line for. It surprises me that such a strong woman like yourself bows down to Morgan Victoria like a pathetic servant to it's master. You are so much more then she can ever be...."
Her eyes shifted to Cameron.
"And you. CEO and creator of King Enterprises. Savvy businessman, strong in mind, body, and soul...and you allow these two--ball busting sluts give you orders! Alison doesn't even love you Cameron....she can hardly stand the sight of you let alone the fact that you're her brother. I see the way she looks at you...it's the same way I look at Alexis.."
Helena tightened her grip on Alexis, emphasizing her point.
"You're naive to believe you'll have e any future with them.."
Helena continued on.
"And Adrian Lockhart. God knows WHY you are in freak show of a group. Alison hates you, Cameron thinks you're nothing more then a washed up celebrity whore, and god KNOWS what Morgan will do to you in due time..."
Smiling, Helena turned her attention finally to Morgan and Alison.
"Which leads me to you two. Both of you are the most insecure, selfish, outrageously annoying people I have EVER met in my entire life. You stand around like you're Gods gift to the world...thinking you're better then everyone. Thinking you can boss everyone around like their dogs. You're nothing more then insecure brats who strive to be the most powerful so you can intimidate your way through life. I hope you both BURN in hell. I'll be the first to greet you self righteous bitches."

"Adrian! Hurry!"
:: Looking to Helena, her words were evil....growling, Alexis thrust her hand out to Helena, sending a massive lightning bolt at her, but before it hit, Helena had exploded into a swarm of wasps. Swatting above her head, the wasps were relentless and soon they were completely surrounding Alexis in what looked like a tornado. The tornado quickly died down and Helena was holding her from behind. Lunging forward, the meta human wasn't fast enough as a large blade went ripping through the back of her and protruded out the front. Gasping, her gasps were gargled as the blood rose in her throat. Dammit...As Alexis was being drug back, she heard Helena's words....that manipulative little bitch. Haleigh shrugged as Alexis woke up, nodding when she was thanked... and then allowing the others to break the news to Alexis about her Father. Haleigh remained silent... this wasnt her job. She'd gotten them down here, helped them find Alexis.... but the heartfelt stuff.... the condolences.... the emotional revelations were definitely not her thing. She followed them into 'battle', dragging the still unconscious Adrian along behind her by the collar of his shirt.
Guardian went offensive, immediately attacking. Helena shrank back, then attacked Alexis, and though they ALL knew her end was near, Helena still tried her best to manipulate them against each other. Haleigh saw right through it. After all.... its takes one to know one. Haleigh's eyes went from Alexis' wound to Helena's stare. Hales' green eyes were fierce with anger and defiance, and she let Adrian's body lay on the floor completely.
"Oh.... I COMPLETELY agree with you. It was pretty shitty, what they did to me... which is why I FULLY plan to leave them. But YOU.... are manipulating me... and I'd rather you not... you don't NEED to. And I AM so much more than Morgan is.... and more forgiving to boot. Here... let me show you.... this is your one way ticket out of here."
Haleigh eased forward, outstretching her hand. A small globe sat in her palm, and as she reached out to hand it to Helena, she looked back at Morgan and Alison over her shoulder. They could see as soon as she did she shut her eyes tightly. A split second later the room was filled with blinding light and an earsplitting cracking noise. Haleigh had detonated a 'flash grenade'... and it would momentarily blind Helena, Alexis, and anyone else who didnt see Haleigh's warning signal. With Helena momentarily stunned, Haleigh was able to lunge forward and rip ALexis from her grasp, slamming her fist into Helena's face and dragging Alexis away to safety.

The blinding light caught Helena off guard as she shrieked, releasing her grip from Alexis to cover her eyes. Within that split second, Haleigh quickly decked her and grabbed Alexis, pulling her off to the side. Stumbling back, Helena fluttered her eyes, seeing nothing but white spots. Her face was tense and uneasy.
Finally able to make out object through the massive correlation of white spots, Helena saw Morgan step forward. She was thrust back, being held by mystic chains. She struggled but couldn't move her arms or legs. Gritting her teeth, she heard Morgan's last words...and that was it. A massive explosion of flames engulfed Helena's body, burning her intensely. Her painful screams could be heard above the loud roaring of flames, until finally, her bloody burnt body went limp and the Morgan's flames were gone.
Still in an upright position being held by the mystic chains, her head was limp in front of her. Moving it slightly...she was still miraculously alive, but barely. Her flesh was black and smoking. What wasn't black was bloody and maimed. Her hair was completely gone and her tattered clothing were covering only the essential.

:: Cameron sighed as he heard the words of Helena try and scathe him. It was nothing he hadn't heard before from a countless number of people, and he wasn't about to let Helena get to him. She was nothing to him. He didn't care about her life or her state of being. ::
"Give me a break you decrepid BITCH! Who are you to talk about control. Alexis has controlled your life since the day she was born. She caused you to go on this rampage, it was her that made you want revenge, it was all her. You are Alexis' BITCH, Helena. Deal with it!"
:: She wouldn't have time to ponder the words as Morgan unleashed a wrath of fury upon her. It was a Mystic Flame, nobody would be able to survive that, but miraculously, she had. The old witch was still alive and kicking. One the one hand, Cameron admired her will and on the other he hated that she could withstand such an attack. He turned his attention to Adrian who was still unconscious. He could probably heal Alan in time. Cameron had to give him a boost. It was something he had never attempted with Telekinesis before. He began to picture the inside of Adrian's body, his blood veins, his muscles, and most importantly his heart. It was still beating and Cameron was trying to hone in on that. He looked over at the botched science project as he exerted an abrupt amount of telekinetic force into Adrian's heart, essentially jumpstarting it, causing it to beat extremely fast, a shock that would surely hurt, but wake him up at least. ::

:: Alexis was yanked forward by Haleigh, falling to the ground in a heap. A pool of blood immediately surrounded her petite forum, even spreading onto Haleigh's white suite. Barely breathing, yet still alive, Alexis laid still with her eyes closed. The pain was so intense it hurt to blink. But the meta human didn't need to see the massive attack unleashed by Morgan to know what was going on. she heard Helena's screams, she heard the pain and agony in her voice. If Alexis could smile, she would of right at that moment. But soon, the screams subsided. At this point she didn't know if Helena was dead or if she was...everything was quiet. ::
As Adrian fell to the ground, unconscious, a few second seeped by until he found himself in the midst of a large rainforest. Mildrew clung to the large, dark leaves, and the various colorful plants dotted the landscape, adding a serene ambience to Adrian's settings. He looked around wildly, and then down. Shorter, younger. He examined himself: a boy of 13 or so, with bright blonde hair and graceful limbs. The boy who had come out of surgery, and had only begun experiencing narcissism. Adrian tried to analyze the situation, using the cold logic he was accustomed to, but found himself incapable of any kind of thought. His eyesight waivered, and fatigue dragged down on his body.
What's going on?
Feeling an instinctive pull towards the direction north, he began walking. He carefully avoided the various poisonous insects and animals, following a beaten down path that eventually took him to a clearing where an immense waterfall bore down from the horizon, sprinkling the air with its fragrant water. Despite its size and power, sound suddenly ceased. It was then that Adrian realized he wasn't alone: a man robed in mint white was kneeling by the water's edge. Him, but older. Much older, so that Adrian looked at the back of his head and observed the equally vibrant white hair that hung down past his neck.
Not a weak guy, though.
"You've come, finally," a deep, ancient voice greeted him.
"Yeah," Adrian said shyly, fidgiting with his hands.
"You're dying, Adrian."
"I am?"
"Yes."
"Oh."
Silence passed between them. Adrian really didn't know how to process this information. He was dying? How? Watching a flock of bright red bird fly away, Adrian couldn't help but feel at peace. Who cares if he died if he could stay here forever. Despite a new awareness of himself, Adrian was still that same inquisitive boy now, and he crouched down to poke at a purple frog.
"I don't want you to die. It's important that you don't stay here."
"I want to stay here."
"I know. But you can't."
"Why?" Adrian demanded, looking up now with childish fury in his eyes. Why should this guy get to keep this whole place all to himself?
"I have plans for you."
"Whatever," he retorted, suddenly annoyed. He was vaguely aware of the fact this man had authority and looked a lot like him, but he didn't feel like listening. Sometimes adults thought too much.
"I know you don't understand now, but you will. I promise," the figure infront of him commented, gently moving his hands to dip into the water.
"I don't care," Adrian decided, standing and getting ready to leave. But something was wrong because the blue sky wasn't so blue anymore, and the forest was alive with the cry of animals, and lightening shook the earth.
"I'm sorry, Adrian. You don't have a choice. Don't worry, you won't have to do much. Come here."
Suddenly frightened by this transformation of his new favorite place, Adrian edged closer to the man.
"Closer."
Adrian stepped closer, so he could finally see his reflection in the water. Weird. The man's reflection wasn't there. The dull sound of chaos in the distance grew steadily louder. Thunder came crashing down only a few feet away from him, and Adrian yelped. He turned to his protector for safety, but was instead greeted with the sight of an immense albino snake, which thrusted forward. Adrian watched in slow motion, despair clouding his senses, as those black fangs descended upon him...
------
With a gasp, Adrian Lockhart awoke. All signs of poison had faded -- he felt perfectly fine. What the hell? he thought, sitting up groggily and looking around. Of course, as the figure of charred flesh and sunken muscle, Helena drew his gaze.
"Oh..." Adrian said, mildly disgusted. A few seconds later, after he'd processed the ability to feel and move again, Adrian stood. "Anyone wanna clue me in on what the fuck is going on?" he asked, shedding off the raggedy coat that had now gathered dust. Waiting for an answer, he began undoing his cuffs to loosen the tension. Damn did he feel sore. But fine, perfectly fine.

Adrian continued adjusting his cuffs as Alison ranted, seemingly oblivious. Finally raising the entirety of the cloth so both muscled forearms were bared (Adrian's most comfortable look), he looked at her, that icy bitch of contempt, prepared to give her the rebuttal of her life.
And stopped.
Weird.
A general air of superiority and of apathy always protected Adrian from such close examination, but that air was gone. He felt utterly vulnerable, as if a thick protective layer of skin had been peeled away from him. Her insults kind of.. stung.
"I couldn't have helped Alexis' father out even if I had wanted to, Alison," Adrian hissed. Turning to gaze at the dead man, Adrian could barely make out the traces of complex molecules and lethal compounds that had wired their way through his body. They were fading, like dying star, along the veins in his blood system. As Cameron, Adrian was adept at seeing through the human body when chemicals were concerned. "My powers..I can't.." Adrian trailed off, suddenly shaken by the image of that dead man, so fragile and hopeless.
He sucked in a deep breath of air and turned away from them all to wander closer to the life support system. Adrian's expression was almost of naive pain, as if for the first time regarding the death of someone. He wanted to be far, far away from this man, because he didn't feel good at all.
Turning towards Alexis, who had been the sole reason he had suffered the company of these contemptuous individuals, Adrian forgot his good manners. "Can we get out of here, please?"
What had happened to his calm, cool, and collective composure? It had been there when he awoke and had looked at Helena without any kind of reaction.
Where are you? he thought despairingly.

From the moment he had met him he had caused nothing but trouble and had proved to be much more of a liability than an asset. He seemed to have some kind of a hard on for Alison. It somewhat agitated Prophet. ::
"How about you never talk to my sister in that tone again? You already manipulated one of my sister's and I will be damned if I will let you try and weasel your way to the other one, and suck it up with the EMO act. If your going to run with us, you need thicker skin than that. We've seen it all..."
:: Indeed the Six pretty much had been through much worse than this. They had destroyed one of the most protected and powerful organization's epicenters and had almost seen the end of the world at the hands of one of their own. Seeing a maimed body and questioning one's powers were child's play at this point. ::
"Though I do agree, Alexis. Do you feel ready to leave? Don't you want to like gouge Helena's eyes out or something before we leave?"

:: Opening her eyes, Alexis coughed regaining her ability to breathe once again. Lifting her head from the ground, she looked to Morgan who had just healed her again. A look of thanks was in her eyes, but she did not have the will to smile. Turning her attention to Adrian who had now decided to wake up from la la land, she didn't look one bit concerned. In fact, at this moment, she detest Adrian for the lack of human emotions and willingness to help anyone other then himself. ::
:: Pushing herself up off the ground, Adrian was the least of her concerns. Looking to Helena....her battered body was shaking. Alexis just stood there, watching her aunt hold onto life with everything she had. Her eyes shifted to Alan...she didn't need to be told he was dead. Her eyes lowered for a few seconds, before settling onto Helena once more. Stepping forward, the meta human tilted her head to the side, studying the woman. Soon, she was only mere inches from her. Hearing the raspiness of her breathing, the crunching of her skin as she tried to move, Alexis grabbed Helena's face with both her hands. Lifting her head up, the sight of the once elegant yet evil woman, was now gone. Her lips were completely burn off, leaving only a skeleton like image of her teeth, her eyes were burn and bloody...everything about her looked like something out of a Steven King novel. Leaning forward, Alexis whispered...her whispers only loud enough for Helena to hear. ::
"You don't even deserve to go to hell..."
:: Helena's body began to shake. Even in a moment of pure monastery, her mangled face seemed to have a look of worry and even fear. Alexis was slowly draining what was left of Helena's life energy, away. The shaking and convulsing only worsened as the blondes body began to glow a soft white. Helena's body began to shrivel up; skin only hanging from her skeleton....and suddenly, a blast of intense wind and light filled the room, blinding everyone. The light subsided, and Alexis stood with Helena's limp body in her hands. Dropping the skeleton like body, Alexis stepped back...she was quiet. ::
"Everything you've ever done to me--"
:: Pausing ::
"Everything you've ever said to me.....means nothing. You've only made me stronger."
:: Turning away from Helena's decrepit body, Alexis looked to the others, knowing they wanted to leave this place. ::
"Lets go home(Illustra).."
:: As she spoke, her body began to change shape. Flashing from herself, to Helena, to Emily, even AJ. (Think Mystique from X2 with Wolverine). She didn't even realize what was going on...but in fact, Alexis managed to absorbed Helena's ability to glamour energy into any object, shape, or person. Well...one last gift from the wicked witch of the northeast.. ::

::Guardian stood with her arms folded...turning her nose up at Bane and snubbing him ...soon, Morgan restored Alexis fully, wondering if the others NOTICED how this was the second time she had done this.::
::Helena was on her last limb of life...Morgan had ravaged her...leaving her alive just long enough for Alexis to have her final say...::
::walking forward a bit, Guardian watched as Alexis' physical form changed shape...flowing like mercury. Guardian narrowed her eyes and took note::
it would appear that in absorbing the last of Helena's energy, Alexis gained the woman's power to glamor....the absorbtion was far more than a simple act..it was an emotional release....resulting in a deeper level of its manifestation.
::Guardian's tone was cold and analytical....the perfect "voice over" as the others watched the new development::

"Excuse me?"
:: Raising a brow, Alexis watched Alison study her. Glamour? She was unable to absorb other's powers, how did she absorb the one persons powers she never wanted. Brushing her blonde hair away from her eyes, Alexis softly sighed....it was pretty bitter sweet. She didn't want anything about Helena apart of her, but with this power, she had many possibilities. Parting her lips, Alexis really just wanted to get home. What turned into a day of mourning for her lost brother, escalated into finding out Helena killed him, being kidnaped, tortured, finding her father alive, losing him all over again, and murdering Helena. On top of a web of lies about Alexis' past that she thought she already uncovered. ::
"We'll figure this out later. I just....want to get home."

:: Cameron watched as Alexis morphed in and out from one shape to another. It was extremely strange but captivating at the same time. He laughed and smiled to Shockwave as he nudged her with his elbow and sighed. ::
"How come Alexis got the cool power when she faced her relatives? I got the ability to have seizures whenever the dead wants to talk to me. So not cool."
:: Turning back to the rest of the group ::
"Yeah, I'm with Lex, let's get back to Illustra."
Bane watched Alexis as she finally rid herself of one of the most vindictive, cruel people he had ever had the displeasure of meeting. When Alison provided the details of Alexis' startling change as she began morphing, he simply frowned. Who the fuck cared if she absorbed anything? He wanted to get the hell out of here right now. As emotionally unstable as he was, Adrian needed to find some source of immediate comfort -- namely, getting laid.
And then, he thought, I'll find out what happened with me in these dark tunnels.
Only if I let you, Adrian, another voice, foreign and cold and cruel, retorted within him.
Later, he would adamantly claim he had imagined it.

<< Spellbinder watched the passing of Helena with a stone faced expression, she was glad to see it end...knowing that another mystech goon had been given her just dessert>>
<< she too noticed the sudden "changes" in Alexis.>>
<< having manifested many varied aspects of her own physical being, Morgan was not SURPRISED so much as she felt it was fitting to Alexis to gain this power...>>
<<hearing everyone's request to go "home"....Morgan, who still manifested the darker aspect of her personality in appearence with demonic touches, raised her hands...chimes and thunder crashed as a veritcal disc encompasses everyone..and in the blink of an eye....Cameron, Bane and Haleigh are sent back to the Parthenon..while Morgan, Alison and Alexis are ported to Illustra>>
<< in an icy voice>>: you didnt think i had FORGOTTEN...did you?
