:: Again, after only mere moments, Alexis, Alison, and Morgan appeared in Alexis' room located in Wyndemere. Her room was extremely spacious, with shades of olive green, creams, and browns accenting her beautifully decorated bedroom/sitting room. Alison and Morgan could smell a faint aroma of orchid that made the living area seem serine. It was a beautiful room---one rarely used by Alexis anymore. ::
:: They were the first to arrive at Wyndemere, and Alexis wanted to take it upon herself to freshen up before meeting guests down in the foyer. Walking across her bedroom toward her dresser, Alexis looked in the mirror, moving her fingertips across the bottom of her eyes, she removed any smudged makeup, making her appearance, once again, become radiant. Looking into the mirror back at Alison and Morgan, Alexis watched them. ::
"Wyndemere is a beautiful estate...mainly because of my grandmother Lila."
:: Pressing her lips together after she had just reapplied her lipgloss, Alexis turned away from the mirror and to the two woman. Lila had died a couple years back. She was the pride and joy of the Quartermaine's and the town. Everyone loved her, and she loved everyone; which many people could never understand. She always saw the best in everyone. Even her daughter, Helena. Many people often wondered how a wonderful woman such as Lila raised such a harpy like Helena...but Lila loved her daughter. Although Helena disappointed her frequently, she would express her displeasure, mildly, and tell her she loved Helena anyway. That love sustained Helena her entire life...and when Lila died, it only seemed to make her go from bad to worse. ::
"I’ll have to take you for a walk through her rose garden, it's beautiful. The brightest red roses you will ever see."
:: Nodding, a small smile appeared on Alexis' lips. She loved Lila dearly...and Lila loved her. Her rose garden was the one treasure on Wyndemere Estate that Lila loved and took care of all on her own. ::
"We have a few minutes before the guests start arriving. If you two would like to freshen up, you're more then welcome to. The bathroom is right over there."
:: Pointing to a closed door near the balcony. ::

:: As Cameron and Haleigh pulled up the Wyndemere Estate, Prophet began to ask himself the same question as to why Morgan and Alexis were all the sudden acting very close. It almost made him worry, which he was sure in some small part was what Morgan wanted, but he diverted his attention to driving passed the gates and up the winding road to the front of the estate ::
"I am not sure what is going on with Lex and Morgan, but I think it may be in large part that they lost their siblings around the same time. It is probably the first time they can say they have something in common. They are probably just helping each other heal..."
:: Prophet got out of his car as a man greeted them and offered to park the car for him. He acknowledged the man and gave him the keys as Haleigh joined him at the front door. He looked at a man who was evoking the spirit of a Bouncer at a club only much less muscular or strong looking. Cameron gave them the names. ::
"We are here for the Quartermaine Reception. Cameron King and Guest.."
:: He figured that Haleigh would not be on the list so he added her as guest. After all, she had only been alive again for about 24 hours. They were led into what appeared to be a main sitting room. Nobody was really there yet, so Cameron took comfort on a plush and comfortable couch as he looked to his friend ::
"So, you've died twice now? Was it better the second time? I mean what did "They" say? I tried to look for you on the Other Side with the new power I gained after battling Kelly, but I couldn't find you or Blaze. I figured it would just take awhile to get over the traumatic deaths you both had..but do you think Blaze is going through the same thing that you are? That perhaps Blaze is alive and in a new body and we just don't have a clue?"
:: While Cameron was talking he started to get an excruciating headache almost like the ones he had experienced when he discovered his telepathy. But this was different, there was no voices, just a throbbing pain. Perhaps it was just the effects of him shutting off his telepathy. He obliged when he was offered a drink. He needed something to dull the pain in his head. ::
"Scotch on the rocks..."
:: He turned back to Haleigh ::
"And you probably noticed that I.. sealed off my Telepathy. I can't read, probe, hear or do anything like that anymore.. that is why I couldn't trust you right away.. I did it for a reason..I just need to feel "normal" for awhile. Actually feel emotions and the ramifications of my actions, not just try and analyze what other people are thinking or feeling.. I need to get my redemption in my own way I guess..."

<< arriving at the estate, Morgan closes the disc as she, Alexis and Alison walk forward...and into the massive, beautiful sprawling estate. she listens as Alexis remarks on the splender and walks ...looking around through her dark gucci sunglasses. it has been amost surreal morning and afternoon..and morgan knows that it will get WORSE before it gets better....but she keeps silent. finally when Alexis offers for her and Alison to refresh themselves, Morgan takes her up on that...and repairs to the parlour room...taking off her gucci frames...she refreshes her hair style ensuring that the bun is as tight and sleek and stylish as it was earlier....splashing a bit of cool water on her face before patting it dry with a luxor pima cotton face towel....she refreshes her make up..only accents around the eyes and lips to compliment her wintery elegant countenance...and as she dabs a bit of hawaiian ginger on either side of her neck...she takes a moment to look in the mirror at her face. >>
<< she looks beautiful...but there is a hint of weariness and exhaustion in her icy violet eyes. MENTAL exhaustion as she continues to brood and ache over the loss of Blaze...and feel the pain of Alexis loss as well. she touches the 24kt gold heart pin on the lapell of her blazer which contains a picture of Blaze... as she exhales slowly and places her gucci frames back on her face...to hide her eyes and any expression she may have>>
<< finally returning to Alexis and Alison who are now out on the balcony...morgan stands tall..adjusting her tailored black donna karan blazer and black donna karan short skirt.>>
<<in an icy voice>>: Alexis? maybe you would like to rest for a bit? Alison and I will watch out for you in case of any kind of attack or intrusion......
<< she gently touched Alexis' shoulder as she stood next to her and looked down...the breeze blowing over them both>>

::at the estate, Guardian is slightly more at ease...having gotten the jump on Haleigh and ensuring that she will NOT interfere in the immediate events to take place.. Alison follows Alexis and Morgan. she too is impressed by the splendor and tranquility. soon...as Morgan refreshes herself, Alison unties her 3/4 length, military design inspired, black caroline herrera jacket and reveals the plunging V neck of the black high hemlined dress she is wearing. It is feminine, cutting edge and once again gives a surprising reveal of Alison's feminine, tight body...she stretches a bit as the women all manage to take a few moments to collect themselves.::
:: taking a drink from a chilled bottle of aquafina...and seating herself in a chair, crossing her legs at the knee. Alison closes her eyes...and relaxes...just allowing her mind to be at ease...and enjoying the regality of the surroundings. after a few moments..she steps out onto the balcony with Alexis and Morgan...not putting her jacket back on yet. as the breeze flows through her blue/black , bone straight, middle parted hair which is style in a sleek bob::
:: in a clear, yet slightly analytical tone:: yes...morgan and i can run interference for you, ifyou need a sometime to rest and relax before you have to address your guests.

:: Watching Morgan walk into her bathroom, Alexis turned away from Alison and proceeded to make her way to her bedroom balcony. The soft breeze danced along her body; blowing her blonde locks behind her. Taking a deep breath in, she glanced down toward the driveway, seeing the cars begin to line up. The first to step out of the cars was Cameron. He came. A small smile appeared on her lips. But soon her smile faded...it was that woman. The woman from the car outside of the church. Narrowing her eyes....who the hell was she? And why would Cameron bring her here of all places? Especially now. Watching them walk to the front doorway, they soon disappeared into the house. Well...at least she would get to meet whoever this mysterious woman was in a few minutes. ::
:: Hearing Alison join her on the balcony, Alexis didn't turn around. The few moments that she was outside, she was trying to allow herself to relax, but again, her mind wouldn't stop racing. Placing her hands on the railing, she let her head hang. Her eyes were closed, and her breathing slowed. Even though the funeral was finally over, the reception was probably the one thing Alexis was extremely nervous about. The actual mingling with everyone. Listening to the stories about AJ. The comments about how sorry people are. It just made the situation even more real for Alexis. ::
:: A soft clicking of heals snapped the blonde out of her trance. Morgan had finally come out of the bathroom. Hearing her voice, Alexis would like nothing more then to crawl into bed and just sleep the rest of the day away. Hell...the week away. But she had to go downstairs. Not only for herself, but for AJ. Feeling Morgan's hand on her shoulder, she lifted her head while opening her eyes. Looking out into the distance, the horizon was blocked by the large wooded trees that were on the Quartermaine estate. A small road could be emerging from the wooded area, and on the road were lines of cars. The bulk of the people were now arriving. Clearing her throat, Alexis turned around to face Morgan and Alison. ::
"Thank you, but, I need to be downstairs. For AJ...for my family. Regardless if they want me here or not."
:: Stepping past the two woman, Alexis proceeded to walk through her bedroom and to the door which lead to the hallway. Her pace seemed to be quick; mainly for the fact that if she didn't go downstairs now, she would chicken out and not be able to go down period. Heading down the elegantly decorated hallway, she placed her hand on the oak railing which made the hallway overlook the large livingroom. She saw Cameron...and the woman. Shifting her glance back to Cameron, a small smile could be seen. A smile of "thank you for coming". Finally reaching the stairs, Alexis was on the verge of stepping down onto the first step, when she was pulled by Helena from view. Being shoved into her grandfather's study, Helena closed the door behind her, locking it... ::
:: Grunting, Alexis whipped around glaring at her aunt. ::
"Well, something tells me you don't want me here."
:: Her tone was sarcastic and very hostile. Even though Helena had completely knocked Alexis down the night before, on so many different levels, Alexis had been going toe to toe with Helena for almost a decade. Crossing her arms, she stood narrowing her eyes at the woman. ::
"What do you want."

Grabbing Alexis, she forcefully pulled her away from the stairs and shoved her into her father's study. Closing the door behind her, she immediately locked it. She had a few choice words for her darling "niece", and she wasn't going to let her get away easily.
Hearing Alexis' comment, Helena's facial expression when to one of her all famous "innocent bitch" looks. Taking a stride forward, she placed one hand on her hip.
"Well, something tells me you've been drinking again."
A smirk appeared on the woman's thin lips. Low blows were always the best in Helena's eyes. Especially when it dealt with Alexis' sobriety. Finally reaching her niece, she lifted her chin, now looking straight into her eyes. The similarity of the two were uncanny...it was almost as if Alexis was a younger version of Helena. The same mannerisms, the same facial expressions. It almost made you think as to WHY Helena hated her so much.
"I want you gone, Alexis. You already embarrassed this family enough with your pathetic eulogy...and GOD knows WHY they nominated you to speak on behalf of AJ."
Rolling her pale blue eyes, Helena flicked her head to the side, tossing her sandy locks behind her shoulder.
"I want you and your fembots out of Wyndemere. Oh, and take that Hefner wannabe along with you. I don't need anymore trash in this house."

:: Rolling her eyes at the comment about her sobriety, Alexis simply tilted her head to the side, looking at Helena as if she was crazy. Ha...wait, she was crazy. This woman just wouldn't stop. For one day, just ONE day, she couldn't look past her own selfish needs and wants, and actually care about the family as a whole--INCLUDING Alexis. Of course not, Helena never did anything that didn't benefit herself. ::
"I'm not going anywhere. If AJ wanted one of us gone from this reception, he would pick you in a heartbeat. He HATED you, Helena. Everyone in this family hates you. And if you honestly think you're threats are going to scare me away from my own brother's funeral reception, you've got another thing coming. So go fly back to your bat cave, or hop onto your broom stick you sadistic witch. Because I’m not leaving."
:: Stepping forward, Helena and Alexis were now nose to nose. Both glaring at each other. Both on the verge of pummeling each other on the spot. :

<< Morgan happened to be rounding a corner and coming down the spiral stair case as Helena and Alexis squared off....when she heard everything up to the FEMBOT comment....Morgan smirked...noting that her look had caught the eye of more than a few people....standing tall in her sexy tailored black blazer and short skirt...with her hair pulled back in a sleek glossed bun and wearing those gucci frames>>
<< Morgan turned back to see if Alison was coming....before making her way down and standing silently and forboding with her arms folded>>
<<in an icy voice>>: old woman, if you got a problem with me....then do something about it...and we can make it a double..two funerals for the price of one.
<< Morgan didnt care who heard her or who was offended. She would crack Helena's bones with her bare hands and take GREAT pleasure in it>>
you enjoy kicking Alexis while she's down...why dont you try that shit on someone who's more than a match for you..you freeze dried, botox addicted hag.

A young man with a valet vest opened her door, offering her a hand to help her out. She smiled softly at him, taking his hand, putting her legs out before standing out of the vehicle. She thanked the boy and then joined Cameron at the 'bouncer', taking his arm to signify that she was 'with' him as his guest, JUST in case the bouncer was an idiot [you can never tell ;)]. Haleigh felt someone watching her, and she looked up. the wind was blowing her hair across her countenance, but through the strands she could see Alexis looking down at them from the balcony. She wondered if Alison and Morgan had told her already... but Alexis didnt seem to exhibit any recognition... and so Haleigh looked down again at the doors and walked in with Cameron. She let the butler take her coat, revealing the way her black silk dress draped over her sylph-like form. She walked alongside Cameron into the sitting area. Putting her knee on the sofa first, she lowered herself to the cushion next to Cameron, pulling her other knee up on the sofa as well. She put in her drink order as well.
"Jack Daniels, straight up."
She said, waiting for the man to leave so that her and Cameron culd speak privately. At least they were the first here... they could discuss things without worry of being overheard.
"Thats interesting.... because I noticed from the being how similar they were... they both had evil maniac fathers, they both have businesses rooted in the Fashion world, and they're both blonde. You think they'd have connected right away. But Cameron.... while I'm here as your guest... I'd like to mention... Alexis doesn't know Ive returned... and I dont want to upset her... The idea that I'm back from the dead... when her brother just died... it really upset Morgan... and I feel that she deserves for this Wake to go as smoothly as possible. Just introduce me using my birth name... she doesnt know it... and wont make the connection. Later.... when this is over... I'll tell her."
Haleigh knew Cameron would know her birth name, Rebecca Meridian, because it came up once when she was pulled over for speeding while they were on their way to lunch. Haleigh had given the officer a Military ID with that name because she knew it would get her off the hook. People were so supportive of their troops since 9/11.... so predictable. Haleigh smiled softly as their drinks arrived, taking it and thanking the man and once again waiting to speak until they were alone.
"Well.... 'They' werent very happy with me, because of my recent behavior... they said if They had Their way, I'd be straight off to my eternal resting place... but since Blaze was also killed... They needed me to return to earth... and finish what They started with the Six. That's probably why you couldnt contact me... I guess I was such a high priority case, I went to see them personally... I was with them the entire time. No... I highly doubt Blaze will be doing anything of the sort... because of... Morgan's soul sword. Her fate will have been much worse than mine."
Cameron could probably see, even without telepathy, that Blaze was a difficult topic for Haleigh to breach. She changed the topic quickly, happy to have something else to talk about. She had her back to the stairwell, and so didn't see Alexis behind her.
"Well Cam... thats terrible... but sometimes like you said... you just need time to recuperate. Everything in its own time. You need to recover without a bunch of people in your head. And that's understandable."

:: alison came around the same corner as morgan a few moments later...she was just tying round her military inspired designed jacket which gave her plunging V neck black high hemlined dress the right amount of seriousness without being too restrictive for this event. tosising her own flawless blue/black hair back as she found Morgan already on the scene of Helena and Alexis....Alison cleared her throat to let Helena know that the OTHER "fembot" was present::
::if Helena were to try ANYTHING be it with her seemingly endless army of WILDPACK agents or whatever else...they were ready to stop it now before it got out of hand and destroyed this wake or the beautiful surroundings.:

"That's a dangerous choice, my dear. You're playing with fire."
Sneered Helena. Alexis wasn't as easy to crumble as she was the night before. She seemed to revert back to her old self...But soon, Helena and Alexis' conversation was interrupted by a Morgan. Rolling her eyes as she heard the woman's annoying voice, Helena turned away from Alexis toward her. Bond Girl meets Hunts Point Hooker. How quaint. And she brought her little doggie too. Awww!
"Your lack of tact is only surpassed by your incredibly lousy sense of timing. Go away. This doesn't involve you and your ten cent whore(Alison)."
Turning back to Alexis, Helena narrowed her eyes. Fine. If she wanted to stay...then she could stay. At least she could kill two birds with one stone...
"If you'll excuse me, I have guests to greet."
Helena pushed passed Alexis, knocking into her shoulder. Strutting through the study to one of the large double oak doors, Helena opened it and walked out. If Alexis and her gang of social rejects were stupid enough to stay, it wasn't any blood on Helena's hands...

:: Taking a step back as Helena pushed past her, Alexis huffed, glaring at her aunt until she finally left the room. The bitch just didn't know when to stop. She was resilient. Like a damn herpes breakout...she just kept coming back when you least expected it. Rolling her eyes, Alexis ran her hands through her blonde locks, pretty forcefully, showing her irritation about what had just happened. ::
"Fucking bitch."
:: She mumbled, pausing for a moment before turning back toward Alison and Morgan. Alexis was pretty surprised to see how much the two had her back at this very moment. Shaking her head, Alexis began to walk toward the door behind Morgan and Alison. ::
"Let's just get this over with."
:: Squeezing between the two, Alexis opened the door and made her way back out into the hallway. You could tell that she was upset on many different levels...mainly anger at this point. Making her way down the stairs, she held onto the railing for support, looking around the livingroom seeing the majority of the guests had already arrived. Walking to a server, Alexis placed her hand on his forearm to halt him. ::
"Water, please."
:: Slipping him a hundred dollar bill, she looked into the waiter's eyes, narrowing them. Letting his arm go, he proceeded back to walk out of the livingroom and to the kitchen to fetch Alexis' request. Standing in the outskirts of the massive amount of people, she folded her arms across her chest, casually greeting a few guests who would say hi to her and give their condolences. Looking around the room, this day was just never ending. ::

<< Spellbinder sneered with contempt at Helena...she was ready to lay that woman out on the floor...AGAIN with one punch. But she held back, no need to start the brawling any sooner than absolutely necessary...plus, she wanted Alexis to be able to at least TRY to control the situation, even though Alison had already seen it degnerating with each passing hour>>
<< watching Helena make a hasty withdrawl...Morgan followed her with her eyes from b ehind those gucci shades...and could see and hear the soft collective murmur of people out in the main hall>>
<< in an icy voice>>: she knows she cant beat me. Ill knock her frickin block off. << she sighed as she stopped herself>>....i dont want to make a scene..but im not going to let her treat you like this. My father...terrorized me and my mother in my teen years...and even then, i wouldnt stand for it. after all we've been through...this woman is not going to get away with this...
<< Morgan felt very strongly about this..but she couldnt understand WHY at first..it was a combination of being there for Alexis the way she wished she couldve been for Blaze..had she not been stuck in the aspect of the darkchild...and the fact that Helena reminded her so much of Christopher Victory>>
you can get through all of this. Alison and I will keep her in check.
<< as Alexis went on through, Morgan and Alison followd a few paces behind..as they didnt know anyone here...and they stayed side by side..looking fierce, feminine and elegant in their ensembles...tromping like models with an attitude on their high heels...Morgan's eyes shielded from onlookers by her gucci shades and Alison's cobalt blue eyes piercing the hearts and minds of any man who starred at her>>

:: Guardian watched as Helena left::
oh by the way dragon lady...."two cents" must have been all you paid for that slop of a mop on top of your head you call a hair style.
:: she smirked as she stifled a laugh...something about Helena made Guardian enjoy the art of bitchy, catty comments moreso than than with anyone else. Helena gave as good as she got...and nothing seemed to make her fall apart..unlike Haleigh or Cameron in times past...who fought tooth and nail to try to have the last word with Alison. Even ADRIAN...who was the most narcissistic man Alison had ever seen...could take her verbal assaults..and seemingly keep coming back for more. truly she was encountering people made of sterner stuff these days::
:: meeting up with Morgan as alexis walked past...Alison really wasnt interacting with Alexis so much as she was offering a pillar of support...at least Alexis knew she was there for her. Alison was not one for words...not even when she and Cameron attempted to repair their bond as brother and sister..but she always manage to let her actions speak for her::
:: talking with morgan in a low tone:: Helena wont try anything overt in the crowd...save more catty comments..in which case alexis can handle it...or we can step in if Alexis starts to buckle. I'm worried though. Haleigh is still trying to make contact with Alexis...she's going to ride on on Cameron's arm.... i just hope he doesnt let her DERAIL him from all the progress he has made in the past 48 hours.
::Alison couldnt tell IF Morgan was aware of the seering nightmare that Cameron had the night before...even though Morgan was a key figure in it. But Cameron had had an emotionally corrective experience...and Alison ...dared to see that he WAS trying to embark on a new path for the sake of his own life as well as that of The Six...she PRAYED that Haleigh did not ruin this.::

:: Cameron watched the cold exchange between Helena and Alexis. Those two really hated each other. He pondered for a moment about both of their pasts. If he had his telepathy, this wouldn't be a problem, but he had to resist that temptation. It was part of his path of redemption. He winked at Alexis as she non vocally expressed her gratitude, and turned back to Haleigh, still with pain throbbing in his head. ::
"Damn, we are going to be stuck together forever, aren't we? We can't even stay dead.. The Powers that Be really want The Six to work.. it makes you wonder what is in store for the future though..."
:: Haleigh explained about Blaze. It made sense. Blaze was decapitated by the Soul Sword. She wasn't coming back. For the first time in Cameron's life he felt something, but he couldn't put his finger on it. It was like a bullet in his stomach, he felt bad.. No. He felt remorse. ::
"I won't tell Alexis about you.. This is possibly the worst news she could hear at this point. Though stay clear of Helena Quartermaine. Something tells me she knows alot more than she leads on.. Excuse Me.."
:: Prophet bravely made his way to Alexis knowing that Morgan and Alison weren't far behind. He wasn't going to let his dispute with Morgan prevent him from consoling a friend. He walked up to her with a concerned stare and open arms. ::
"You ready for a hug yet?"

:: Shifting her eyes from one person to another, Alexis basically stayed away from everyone the entire time. The occasional person would greet her, or she would say hi to someone that she was close with. But for the most part, she preferred being by herself. Noticing the waiter whom she sent to fetch her a drink, Alexis felt at ease. Finally. Taking the glass from him, she nodded. ::
"Thank you.."
:: Looking at the clear liquid, her stomach jumped, feeling like she had a swarm of butterflies in it. Her mouth was parted....pressing her lips against the glass, she took a large swig, feeling the cool liquid run down her throat. Closing her eyes....she then felt the burn. She just needed one drink...that was all. Just one. To calm her. TO make her more steady. To get through the rest of the reception. She knew any indication of getting a drink would call attention to Cameron, Alison, and Morgan, so she ordered a water...but the waiter knew. He was brilliant....absolutely brilliant. Finishing off the tall glass of Vodka, this was pure bliss. It felt more intense then a orgasm. It was everything Alexis remembered it to be. But soon...her "high" went away as she saw Cameron approach her. Smiling to him, she nodded. ::
"Yeah."
:: Opening her arms, she leaned forward embracing Cameron. Her eyes filled with tears. She always hated hugging people...it just always seem to escalate a person's emotions by ten. But she was able to hold her tears back. Gripping onto his back with her free hand, she closed her eyes. ::
"Thank you for being here Cameron."
A swish of fine, black material. The pitter-patter of surreptitious footsteps. A glint of lenses. A scent, reminiscent of a decadent chocolate store in some homey French village. Had they noticed?
No, thought Adrian with satisfaction, observing amidst a crowd of people as the two stunning ladies, Morgan and Alison, stalked behind Alexis, apparently oblivious to his presence in the immediate area. Don't get the man wrong -- despite a brash countenance, Adrian was as capable of stealth as anyone. He'd gracefully opted to stare out from the shadows as Alexis had delivered her heartfelt eulogy.
Even now, he silently cursed Fortuna. The "jet plan" had failed in putting him two steps ahead of the ladies, and Adrian had ended up arriving late. Ever the opportunist, however, Adrian caught and reveled in the element of surprise he now had. "Alison," he'd breath, close enough to touch her.
And maybe she'd see him for a moment -- perhaps catch sight of the tail of his long, elogant black coat, as it disappeared behind a corner.

"That's what friends are for.. You cool? You need anything at all?"
:: Cameron was trying not to pay MUCH attention to Morgan and Alison who were not far behind Alexis but he couldn't help himself, he occassionally found his eyes drifting from Alexis and then to his sister and Morgan. He really didn't want to start anything at all tonight. It wasn't the time or the place. ::

"It's alright. We have enough drama in this damn super squad as it is."
:: Smiling at Cameron, Alexis let go and stepped back away from him. Him just being here was comfort enough. ::
"But who is that woman you're with. She's...well, i've never seen her before."
:: Glancing toward Haleigh, she eyed her up and down. She was pretty...a little too innocent looking for Cameron's taste; but none the less cute. Leaning toward a table that was near bother Cameron and herself, she placed her empty glass on it, and took Cameron's other hand. ::
"You've been great Cam...and I know how hard Blaze and Haleigh's deaths have been for you. Especially Haleigh's. And I really haven't been there for you."
:: Leaning forward, Alexis' kissed Cameron. Her soft lips pressing up against his. It was innocent yet there seemed to be a hint of passion from the both of them. Pulling back. Alexis' blue eyes met with his. ::
"It's been a rough couple of days."
Adrian turned on his heel as he heard the definitive tap of Alison's shoes behind him. A lecherous grin spread across his face.
"Alison," he'd say again, jovially, analyzing her superciliously with his brown eyes. In a more prominent light now, Alison would have the opportunity to take in his tailored outfit. Black, keeping with the tone of the occassion, but made of a soft material. That coat of his was the omnipresence, hanging from his shoulders and sweeping the ground with but the slightest movement. Adrian, in closing, looked the part of the mourner, save the tell-tale smirk on his face.
"I'd like to think of it as a fashionably late entrance."
He cocked his head, lips pursed.
"Not happy to see me, darling?" he asked with innocent disdain, but now having moved forward and letting his gaze move from her to Cameron and Alexis. "Not that these are the most festive of times, anyway," Adrian drawled, riveting his attention back on her.

:: Alison exhaled with annoyance::
you flippant wretch...i should blow you up where you stand!
::leering at him with her cobalt blue eyes...her cold aura began to wash over him::
i think you better present yourself with a little more sensitivity...before you find yourself the guest of honor...at your OWN funeral. this is the calm before the storm.....Alexis is in grave danger...and we are here to help see her through this and keep her out of harm's way....if you are UNABLE to make yourself usefull for anything other than being a human mattress...then FALL BACK!
"I have no intention of letting you blow me, Alison," Adrian replied, smoothly forgetting the essential preposition "up", and equally letting his gaze fall on her. His candid stare would have embarassed others, but Alison probably knew better than to feel any sort of embarassment for this two-faced, narcisstic motherfucker.
"As for my sensitivty," he continued, "I plan on offering Alexis all of the emotional support she needs."
Adrian blinked, and then sighed. "But she's wary of me, and frankly, I'm just as affronted by the company around her. And it chills me, Alison, to see her so vulnerable. Especially around that old bat that's haunting Alexis' every step."
He scowled, commenting thoughtfully, "I'm not a bad person and, hell, I've leant many a shoulder to the weepy and mournful. Maybe if someone she knew would just introduce me and allow me to properly relay my remorse and stuff..."
He looked at Alison.

:: As Alexis mentioned the woman he was with. He quickly searched for the right story to at least buy Haleigh and the Rest of the Six some peace for the moment. ::
"Oh.. That is Rebecca Meridian. She's an old friend from Los Angeles I asked to join me. She was a good friend of mine in Los Angeles, but ever since the Six, I haven't really been keeping in touch with people.."
:: Before Alexis even responded he found himself embraced by the Meta Human in a kiss. Though as innocent as it seemed, there was an underlying theme of almost passion and fire. It was an odd chemistry that the two shared. The two were instantly locked in a gaze that was almost hypnotic to those around them. For just a brief moment, there was nobody else. Just Alexis and Cameron. He smirked at her ::
"It has been a rough few days, but you and me, we're survivors, we're gonna get through this, and we're gonna move on. Don't feel bad Alexis.. Nobody really could be there for me..It's kind of something I have to do on my own, but for you, just know that anytime you need anything from anybody.. I will be there for you. I promise. Scout's Honor..."
:: He put his hand out and made a Boy Scout Signal. The two laughed for a moment before remembering where they were. Suddenly, the room and the world around them appeared yet again. Back to Reality. ::
"I would love to stay and be by your side, but obviously your posse isn't going to permit that at this point..I will be near, let me know if anything goes awry..."
:: He turned around and began to walk back to the couch and back to Haleigh. Before he sat down he turned his head over his shoulder and looked back at Alexis once more and smiled, but his smile soon turned into a grimace as he felt another intense amount of shooting pain that felt like it was inside his brain. He looked at the room as all of a sudden, ghostly figures appeared in the room and then dissipated just as quickly as they came. What was going on with him? Had Cameron made a terrible mistake? He turned back to Haleigh. ::
"I think something's up here..I of course seal off my telepathy at the most inopportune time.. I need a refill.."
:: Cameron's drink was quickly refilled as he noticed Alison talking to Adrian Lockhart of all people! He was completely shocked appalled that he would even show his face at an event in the memory of Alexis' brother. After what he tried to pull? He would talk to Alison later, but not when Morgan was so close. ::

Haleigh nodded as Cameron excused himself. She looked around the room, casing the place. Analyzing the people who were mingling about. She watched Alexis handle condolences, with Alison and Morgan flanking her like bodygaurds. She crinkled her nose as a strange smell filled the air, looking around... Alison departed from Alexis' side, going over to a corner to talk to Adrian Lockhart. Haleigh knew him... well... she knew OF him. Who didnt? The real mystery was... what was he doing HERE? and with Alison? Alison didnt seem the type to even entertain the prettyboy tramp for business purposes, let alone associate with him off in some corner of a sprawling mansion. Haleigh looked over at Cameron and Alexis... she watched them speak, watched them hug. And then.... they kissed. Haleigh found herself looking away. She looked off to the side, her vision unfocused, then down at her lap. she rubbed her eyes softly and raked her fingers through her blonde locks whispering softly to no one in particular. "Of course...."
Hales snuck a peek at them once more... looking at the two surreptitiously over her shoulder. Cameron was walking back this way. he seemed to pause right before he sat down... and the gesture made the hairs on the back of Haleigh's neck stand on end. She looked around warily once more before setting her half finished drink on the coffee table in front of the sofa. Cameron was lifting his refill to his lips, and Haleigh quickly reached up and touched his hand, pulling his drink back down to his lap.
"No. I feel it too... and if something really bad drops, I need you to be as coherent as possible. Now your telepathy is on the fritz... but I can tell its coming through every now and then. Focus Cam. Use your OTHER abilities. Now tell me... WHY is Alison talking to that man? He smells like Sex and Cyanide. The last man on earth either Alison OR Morgan would even acknowledge the presence of."

everything about you is superficial and pretentious...the only reason i wont castrate you at this moment is because you are SUPPOSED to be here and involved in this string of events...but i warn you...if you put one foot wrong...i'll have you on your back so damn fast you'll think you're on one of your dates!
::she forcibly turned Adrian around and shoved him forward...walking along with him and herding him along...::
::whispering in his ear::--straight up and act like you know how to act...as it stands right now..you reek of cheap debauchery.
::finally reaching Alexis...and completely IGNORING Haleigh as she rolled her cobalt blue eyes with disgust...Alison spoke..interrupting Cameron with her strong, analytical tone::
ALEXIS....Adrian Lockhart has arrived to pay his respects and offer his condolences...I brought him to you so as not to allow him to work the crowd in his usual fashion...
::Alison elbows Adrian in the stomach..cuing him to offer his sincere condolences...and to do so with grace and sensitivity. she steps back a bit...standing beside Morgan...as the two women watch Haleigh, Cameron and Adrian with an unforgiving, stern gaze::

:: Watching Cameron head back to his friend, something didn't seem right about his story. Why on earth would he invite a long time friend to a wake? It's not exactly the best place to reminisce about each other's past. Either way, Alexis just shook her head and smiled softly as he turned back around to show, once again, he was there for her. But soon...his face became serious. Something was wrong. But before she could find out what, she heard Alison introduce Adrian. Why was HE HERE. That limpdick playboy wasn't about to seduce her guests at a funeral of all places. Gritting her teeth, her head began to spin a bit. Well damn...294 days really did make a difference when only having once drink. Placing her fingers up to her forehead, within the precise moment, a guest accidently bumped her, sending Alexis toppling into Adrian. Well that was one way to welcome a guest. ::

<< Morgan lifted an eyebrow with suspicion and curiosity as she looked upon this Adrian>>
<<she looked upon him with an air of disdain as she shifted her weight from leg to the other...still standing posed with her arms folded and not saying a word....she was startled a bit as Alexis fell into Adrian....wondering how the hell that could've happened....>>
OH!
<< she stepped forward..and pulled Alexis back....not intentionally meaning to YANK her..as she pulled her so quickly...but something about Adrian made Morgan feel a tad bit uneasy...though it was hard to tell the whole of her facial expression through the gucci sunglasses>>
Alison....
<<she looked over at Guardian who seemed to be a little dismayed herself...but thankfull that Morgan reacted so quickly..KNOWING what Adrian was capable of>>
He frowned, whispering back to her in mock indignation, "Superficial and pretentious?! I'm as genuine as they get, babe." Adrian grinned genially, muttering, "Don't worry though, I'll be nice. I have a way with people, don'tcha know." Which, truthfully, he did. Adrian could get along with almost anyone if he chose to, even without the help of his potent pheromones. He had a knack for finding people's strengths and weaknesses, then playing them like strings on a guitar in whatever fashion he chose.
Keeping a dignified pace as Alison dragged him along (Shit she's strong), Adrian felt eyes on him and looked towards Haleigh and Cameron. He raised an eyebrow at Haleigh -- as one who controlled toxins of all sorts, the virus in that blonde-haired woman practically glowed out from her. Intrigued, but preoccupied with Alison's insistent grip and the nearing of Alexis, he turned his mind back to the matter at hand.
Within feet of her, Adrian's playful grin disappeared. Tense of the shoulders. Downcast eyes. Lowered tone, dripping with sadness.
It was masterful, really. Whereas his reminiscing of his parents had earlier drained him, Adrian now artfully exploited his own weakness, conjuring up the image of father and mother to perpetuate remorse.
As she collided into him, Adrian grabbed a hold of Alexis' hand gently to steady her. And there. That crucial moment where Adrian's touch would send Alexis' senses on fire as the contact of pheromones seeped into her pores -- a drug more inhibiting than any alcoholic drink.
"Alexis..." he started, but then stopped, unsure of how to continue, as she was straightened with the help of Morgan. He ignored Morgan for the time being. "I'm sorry." Pathetic finish. Yet intended. A tongue-tied Adrian? He, who could orate marvelously to crowds of thousands? It had to be genuine.
Adrian turned toward her, regarding Alexis with his warm, brown eyes. Even with the stern warning of Alison next to him, his pheromones always maintained a consistent presence, and they'd now haze over Alexis, muddling her senses, in addition to the chemicals that now ran amuck in her body and straight to her brain.
"My parents died when I was young, and I can only imagine how the loss of a loved one must hurt when you're older..when.." Adrian paused. "Everything is so much more vivid and real. And of course harpy relatives don't help the situation."
A harsh laugh left his lips.
"Wills have a way of bringing out the worst in people," he'd add bitterly, looking away from her, and in the process he conjured up the image of a meek, abandoned boy caught in the tug-a-war of alienated family members, who vied for his family fortune.
"Oh and, I also apologize for being tardy to the funeral. It was a lovely service, though, and your speech was... it was very sincere."
He grinned somewhat. "I liked it." Just a bit of brashness, because all of this sympathy and empathy coming from Adrian would raise an eyebrow without some of his uncouth behavior interrupting occasionally.

:: As Adrian grabbed to steady her, a warm tingling sensation overcame Alexis, only intensifying what she thought were the effects of alcohol...but truly, it was a mixture of that and Adrian's pheromones. Being yanked back by Morgan, Alexis stumbled once more. ::
"Jesus..let's not rip Alexis' arms off."
:: She muttered with a small laugh being heard. Oh yes, she was drunk. Drunk off Adrian. His powers were in fact pretty impressive. But in these instances, everyone around would only assume she had been drinking all day...which wasn't the case. Just one. Only one. Pulling her arm away from Morgan, she steadied herself. Hearing Adrian's "heartfelt" words, she tilted her head narrowing her eyes. ::
"Well join the club, babe. Because if you hang with us, there will be more deaths in the near future."
:: Patting his cheek pretty roughly, she pushed past Adrian, walking through the crowds of people whom were now looking toward her. If anyone knew how to crash a party, it was Alexis. But for the most part, she was acting normal.....but her emotions were now coming out. Not her sadness, not her guilt. But her anger. Toward Helena, toward AJ for leaving her. Toward the people who killed him. ::
"To the gods of 90 proof.....for inducing their blissful ignorance in the face of hateful vermin(Helena), who'd otherwise rub your nose in their mean-spirited reality."
:: Looking toward Helena whom had a smirk from ear to ear. The face of evil. The positively radiant glow of satisfaction. The bitch. ::
"Show no emotion when it comes to your fears and insecurities. Especially when...when the target wears it on her sleeve. Mine happens to be this crazy desire I have to want to be wanted! To belong to people I care about, and have them belong to me back. I guess...I guess that's what you'd call a family.."
:: Walking up to Helena, Alexis could care less who heard her, that it was at AJ's reception. She didn't care. She was going to rail Helena. ::
"...although you certainly wouldn't know what that is because you're a spineless, bottom-feeding, BITCH!!!! YOU should of been the one to die! Not AJ! Not HIM! You thrive on abuse and deception! You continuously make this family crumble! We're just an accessory to your madness you heartless TRAMP!"
:: Swinging her arm back, Alexis pushed her fist forward, slamming her knuckles into Helena's jaw. Gasps could be heard, and whispers. Helena fell to the ground, holding her jaw/cheek. Her styled hair shaded her face from Alexis. Boy that felt good.....::

...this is YOUR doing...stop it NOW before i HURT YOU!
::tension was rising as people there gasped while Alexis smacked Helena down...it wasnt as powerful as Morgan's punch from the other night..but it was heartfelt and cathartic for Alexis...that much was clear...and Adrian's pheromones were catalyzing Alexis' hidden anger into being now more than ever thanks to her being plyed by alcohol.

<< Morgan stepped back a step as Alexis pulled away from her grasp...and proceeded to make her way to Helena. She couldve guessed what was coming...even WITHOUT Adrian's manipulation, which morgan wasnt specifically aware of, Alexis wanted...NEEDED this moment. She looked on as Alison accosted Adrian..wondering what more there was to the relationship between those two...but that of course would have to wait till another time. Alison was the seer..if she reacted this strongly...clearly there was a need. Morgan nodded as Alison directed her to keep up with Alexis.>>
i'm on it.
<< Morgan walked slowly but with a purpose over toward Helena and Alexis...annoyingly shoving an obnoxious gawking male out of the way as he went helplessly stumbling into a chair nearby....casual observers might wonder how this tall modelesque woman could be so "strong"..not knowing what she actually was. Morgan was now in the immediate circle of people around the two women...slightly closer than others...but keeping her distance...and her body language suggested that OTHERS do the same.... she stood silently and watched...narrowing her eyes...which were still hidden behind the gucci sunglasses.>>
finally ...helena got what she deserved from alexis..it means more coming from her than me..even though i enjoyed knocking that hag through the window. i wont interfere just now....ill let this play out..and be on hand in case anyone ELSE tries to get involved.
Adrian watched as Alexis walked away. He cocked his head, the smallest of smiles lingering on his lips. As Alison addressed him, he raised his eyes toward her warily. When her hands firmly planted themselves on his chest and gave him an emphatic push, Adrian stood his ground.
"You wanted me to help Alexis, and I have helped her. Look at her, Alison.. she's alive now. And that bitch of a woman finally got what was coming to her," Adrian said, voicing the thoughts of anyone who had been subjected to Alexis' torment under Helena's harsh tongue. "You asked for support and I gave it," he said, the words practically hissed into her ear as they now stood close together. So close that the faint smell of expensive after-shave waivered towards her nose, intermixed with the typical accompanyment of chocolate-mint.
"Repressed emotions are hazardous to health, after all," he drawled, staring at her for a second too long and then turning to observe the developing event more fully, a smirk gracing his face.

"You selfish twit!"
Helena screamed as she flipped her hair away from her face, glaring up at Alexis. A bit of blood could be seen exiting the corner of her mouth, where Alexis punched her. Helena pushed herself up off the ground; her anger level escalating.
"I knew you would cause a scene like this! You're a drunk lunatic! EVERYONE KNOWS IT!"
Helena shouted. The groups of people began to gather more around the two woman. This seemed like something out of the WWE then a funeral reception.
"You take after Adam! He was a head case on the verge of losing his medical license! He was unstable just like you! He was psychotic just like you! You were NEVER Alan's daughter! You're Adam's! You are an exact replica of him!!!"
Her voice rising above all. People jumped...they were shocked. Slowly people began to back away from the scene, noticing Morgan had arrived. The citizen's from Port Charles were used to Alexis and Helena's feud, but this...this was hardcore.
"I want everyone OUT! NOW!"
Helena took a step forward, wiping the blood from her lip. Her eyes were cold. Her expression was undeniably evil...Soon, guests began to leave. Many of them whispering how this was going to land the Quartermaine's on the front page of the paper again. Many saying Helena was unstable. Some whispering about Alexis. The soft sounds of people's voices began to fade as they were soon, all out of Wyndemere. Alison, Morgan, Adrian, Haleigh, and Cameron were the only guests remaining. They watched on as Helena and Alexis stood toe to toe. Glaring at one another. Helena placed her hand onto Alexis' face, cupping her finger's tightly around her chin. Only mere inches from her, Helena's voice was low and sadistic.
"
I will kill you. Just like you killed AJ."
Pushing her head forcefully away, Helena stormed out of the livingroom, heading down the hall toward the downstair's library. The loud clunking of her shoes echoed throughout the large estate's hallways. Snapping her fingers, a man suddenly appeared in a blink of an eye behind her, keeping up with her pace.
"Give them time...make them think the threat is over."
Stopping, the man stopped too. Gripping her hands into fists, her knuckles turned a stark white.
"Then kill them all. I want their heads handed to me on a silver platter."
With that, Helena began to walk again, disappearing into the Quartermaine library.

:: Alexis put a foot back, keeping her from stumbling from Helena's shove. Alexis glared with detest as she walked out of the room. Her breathing began to pick up. Everyone was gone. Only The Six remained. Screaming at the top of her lungs, Alexis picked up the nearest bottle of liquor and through it with ample force against the nearest wall. Alexis' level of anger was rising with every moment that passed. She was normally a "collective" woman...things pissed her off, yes. Things upset her, yes. But she was able to control it. She was able to keep her emotions in check. It made her stronger. It made her seem indestructible. But now, she didn't care. Either she would let it all out now, or she would completely explode. ::
"I WANT HER DEAD!"
:: She screamed. Her voice as low and sadistic as Helena's was only minutes earlier. The similarities between the two were uncanny.....Turning around, she faced the others. Seeing Haleigh was still there, it made her grow even more annoyed. ::
"Why are you here!?! LEAVE! This doesn’t concern you!"
:: Looking toward Cameron. ::
"Sorry, but unless she's all of a sudden apart of The Six, she needs to be gone! NOW!"

Haleigh watched the ensuing events objectively... she watched and listened for any clues as to why Adrian was here. it wasnt as though she didnt WANT him here... because she really didnt give a damn. She just didnt understand WHY. Alexis seemed to be losing control... Haleigh frowned... she could already tell this wasnt going to go smoothly. Alexis exploded out of nowhere, decking Helena in the face and sending her crashing to the floor. Alison accused Adrian of being the culprit, manhandling him in the process and demanding Cameron keep a handle on Hales. Haleigh was DEFINITELY going to have to talk with Alison... but at the moment, things were too hectic. there was a lot of yelling and when the dust all settled, the Six were the only ones left in the room. Haleigh seemed so out of place here... everyone else looked both veterans to this fight and weary of it... and Haleigh, her face of twenty, looked like a young, fresh-faced college kid. Reality couldn't be farther from the impression.
Alexis seemed distraught, Hales noted. she began yelling at Haleigh... affronted, Haleigh would normally jump to her feet and set the room on fire with hostility... but she sat still, propped on the couch comfortably, the same position she'd acquired when she arrived. It was a testament of just how deeply her death had affected her. Haleigh shook her head, locking eyes with Alexis.
"You'll have ME leave and not HIM?" She asked, gesturing towards Adrian. Hlaeigh looked from Cameron to Alison increduously. They both knew more than they were letting on. "Am I MISSING something here? Is he a PART of this? Of the Six?"
No one seemed to have an answer for her. She looked insulted that Cameron had 'forgotten' to mention it to her... yet still, as she turned her bright green eyes back on Alexis, she sat in her place, unmoving, not complying with ALexis' request for her to leave. She figured she'd better go ahead and get it all out on the table... now was as good a time as any.
"Alexis... we're ALL tired of condolences... but I'm sorry for your loss. Its hard to lose someone so close. Especially after Blaze..." Haleigh paused... but it was DEFINITELTY too late to turn back now... she could tell she had ALexis' undivided attention. "I'm sorry but I'm NOT leaving... I'm as much a part of the Six as you are... I know I LOOK different Alexis... but ask Alison, Morgan or Cameron. They'd have tried to kill me for coming here if they thought I was lying... its me.... Haleigh."
Haleigh, sitting on the sofa with her legs pulled up underneath her, pulled back the hem of her dress, revealing a holstered .45 caliber pistol, strapped to the inside of her thigh. Only Haleigh Davidoff would come to a wake with a concealed weapon.... and she revealed it to make that very point. But would Alexis believe her? Would Alison try to kill her for making herself known?

:: Everything was just suddenly happening so fast. One minute Helena was standing there, and the next she was on the floor. Cameron gave a look to Haleigh and sighed heavily. ::
"I am thinking that Adrian Lockhart is going to be the least of our problems right now.."
:: As Alison was dispatching of Adrian, she leaned forward and made a clear note for Cameron to keep Haleigh out of the way. He looked over to his friend. Everyone was shouting, especially Alexis who seemed to be going off the deep end, though at least it was rage and not emotions this time. It had been hard to see her after figuring out about her brother's death. Then. Haleigh dropped the bomb. ::
"REBECCA!"
:: He was at least trying to cover his tracks. This was going to make Alexis go crazy. Finding out that Blaze and her Brother were dead and Haleigh had been there and back. This was the worst timing ever and it seemed to be all the doing of Adrian Lockhart. He had to do something. He turned to Haleigh. ::
"You should leave.. I know, it doesn't seem right, but things are TOO Complicated right now.. TOO complicated. Let US handle it, I will meet up with you later, but just.. please for the sake of the group.. LEAVE..."
:: It was extremely hard for him to say, but emotions were on high and the smallest thing could cause Alexis and anyone else to break down. He needed to do damage control. With Haleigh gone, Morgan and Alison would at least be able to tolerate Cameron and figure out just what was going on. He didn't say another word to her, but instead turned to Adrian. ::

Haleigh crossed on knee over the other, brushing imaginary lint from her dress as it draped over her thigh, slightly bored with Alison's [over the top, in her opinion] reaction. She looked up at Alison, making direct eye contact, as if to stare her down. She was tired of being made the scapegoat... and she was tired of Alison acting as though SHE AND MORGAN had 'allowed' her to return. Alison's voice was raised and whiny... Haleigh responded with restraint in a low, aggravated tone.
"Give me a break lady, I am doing the very best that I fucking can."
She said no more... and sat stoic, as if unperturbed by Alison, who was now behaving like a spoiled two year old whose mother just interrupted her from watching Barney. Can't you see I'm in the middle of watching tv? she mentally heard Alison rasping at the top of her lungs. It made her crack a smile... even though she KNEW it wasnt the best possible time... it was just what Alison had reminded her of. Cameron broke in now, and Haleigh couldn't believe her ears.... She stared at him, her brow furrowed, her smile leaving her face... she didnt understand.... why was he doing this? Her green eyes locked with his....glaring at him, and only he could see the hurt. She blinked... and then took a deep breath... and turned away from him. She didnt speak, just sat where she was. She couldn't believe Cameron... pushing her away... when she'd just as much right to be there as anyone... she was offended... she could handle Morgan and Alison NOT wanting her there... but Cameron? He was her only true ally... and she had a feeling he didnt have many 'friends' among this group either... So she wasn't leaving him. Alexis was close with Morgan and Alison.... it was only a matter of time before she was turned against him. All Cameron had managed was to make Haleigh angry with him.

<< Morgan stepped forward with fluency...steadying Alexis as she fell back from Helena's grip...and then letting her stand on her own two feet, Morgan watched as Alexis errupted with such pent up rage and anger...she wasnt afraid...or even taken aback..as perverse as it seemed..Morgan knew this HAD to happen ...Adrian was RIGHT..even if his INTENT was hardly as noble as he made it sound to Alison. She heard the commotion between Alison, Adrian, Cameron and Haleigh...although she was not clear on WHO Adrian was or why he seemed to fit "into the picture" as much as he did...she was still churning with disgust at the presence of Haleigh and Cameron...her back to them...she was further across the ballroom where Alexis was...looking in the direction that Helena had went.>>
<< As Alexis cried out for vengeance...Morgan immediately stepped forward>>
<< in an icy voice>>: I'll get her myself.....with a stepping disc.
<< Morgan lifted her hand...about to summon a disc....>>
At the mention of his name, he turned his head. Adrian blinked once, slowly, as if he found it extraordinary that someone like Haleigh was occupying his line of sight. Before he could even jump to his own defense, (I'm more important than your Laguna Beach ass), Cameron, ever the charmer, addressed him for the first time that evening in an accusatory manner.
Finally at the end of his wits and exasperated, Adrian threw his hands up.
"Yes, yes, yes, I loosened her up a bit," he shouted, losing his composure and waving wildly in Alexis' direction. "I catalyzed her explosion. I let the animal loose." He rolled his eyes, glaring contemptuously at Cameron.
"I don't create. I change. I alter. I aid." He stalked closer to the telepath, almost menacing in his tall stature, the black coat whipping around him like a sinister beast. "Help, help, help, they say. I helped! Fuck, I opened her up and let her give vent to all that pent up emotion. 'Cause it was there!"
He turned now, pointing wildly towards Alexis.
"I met her and she was more wound up than a fucking weasel. And it's because of people like you, Cameron King, that we live in the 21st-fucking-century and we have to walk around with 10-foot poles up our asses 'cause.." and he paused, his voice dropping mockingly, "'It's oh so proper to keep your composure.'"
He whirled around to face him again, his brown eyes two irses of white hot fury.
"I doubt you know what it's like to be free in your own skin, King, with that closeted attitude of yours, but I sure as hell am not going to sit here and let the world eat away at her like fleas, with her misery hanging around her as thick as that cheap cologne your wearing."
Adrian gritted his teeth.
"For some reason, just because I have the paparazzi on my ass 24/7, with my pictures on magazines daily, you figure you know me. I'm not an antagonist. I'm not sadistic. I'm just here, a regular guy. Attending a funeral. Helping out a gal. And you, you, are so prone with thinking that one head, that you can't use the other."
He flicked Cameron's forehead to emphasize his point.
"Namely, where the hell that psychotic lady is, and more importantly, what she plans on doing."
With one last glare at Cameron, he grabbed a martini lying around and plopped himself down on a sofa, downing it in one gulp. Finally noticing Haleigh again, he commented savagely, "Adrian Lockhart. Pleased to meet you."
The martini glass shattered as he let it fall to the floor.

:: Putting her hand up, Alexis stopped Morgan but her eyes didn't leave Haleigh. ::
"No."
:: She spoke quietly...of course, referring to her summoning a stepping disk. Normally she would be right on top of that plan, but Haleigh...Haleigh was back? Her eyebrows dropped making her forehead wrinkle. How...why....when... ::
"..How..?"
:: You could tell Alexis was shocked. BEYOND shocked. This was like a freakin' freight train hitting her head on. Her eyes finally left Haleigh's as she shifted them around to room, specifically to Cameron, Alison, and Morgan. ::
"Haleigh's alive and you didn't.......You all KNEW and you didn't tell me?! What you...you couldn't of pulled me away and said, 'oh by the way, Haleigh isn't dead'?!?!"
:: She felt betrayed, by everyone. Everyone BUT her knew that Haleigh was alive. This was just the icing on cake. Oh, and she had to give Haleigh some credit for blurting it out at such a time. But at least SHE had the balls to tell Alexis. Losing her breath for a moment, her hand went straight for her head as she shook it, moving it downward. She was shocked AND pissed. ::

"I hate to burst your superstar bubble DAHLING...." Haleigh began, as Adrian seemed to have finished with his diva tantrum, "But I'm probably the only one here who doesnt want you to leave... so if I were you.... and this is JUST a polite suggestion, mind you, I would soften that tone just a tad. And by the way... in case youre now thouroughly confused.... I'm Haleigh Davidoff... maybe if you acted a little more maturely... I could say something pleasant about making your acquintance as well." She finished, tucking a strand of blonde hair behind her ears. She didn't gun him down for his behaviour towards Cameron... if Cameron thought he could handle this crowd without her, why not let him try? She waited for Alexis to chime in instead, acting as though she'd not just seen Cameron get flicked [quite ridiculously] in the forehead.
Haleigh looked at Alexis as she seemed to come out of her stupor... her face was written with sympathy.... geniune sympathy, for once. "Alexis... I'm sorry to have to drop it on you right now... and I'm sure everyone else only meant the best by not telling you... we didn't want to upset you... but I... it was only a matter of time before we HAD to tell you... and the longer it loomed the harder it would have been.... the more painful it would have been that we hid it from you. WE wanted to allow you time to recuperate... but Time.... is NEVER on our side, it seems."
Haleigh looked around... and decided to try to get everyone focused by Answering the question Bane had posed. "That psychotic lady... is off planning our deaths.... its the same manaical retread everytime. They kill us, they can take over the world or whatever it is we're supposed to prevent them from doing. What WE need to focus on... is thwarting her plan.... and forgive me for saying it... but we need to do it TOGETHER."

<< Morgan's look of disappointment was cleverly concealed by her large, feminine rounded gucci sunglasses. she lowered her hand..and turned on her heel...facing the others and standing with a haughty pose as she folded her arms....the revelation was at hand...Alexis now knew, along with everyone else that Haleigh was in fact alive>>
<< in an icy voice>>: Alexis...i know you're upset..but please...don't go there with me. Do you think....i'm THRILLED that Haleigh , a woman who has spent her life defrauding others, killing and destroying lives, is BACK..while MY SISTER IS DEAD!?
<< thunder rumbles....as morgan grits her teeth..trying to check her own grief>>
She...she showed up at my mother's loft in soho...a few nights ago...and announced her arrival..as if i was supposed to be happy about it...or extend an invitation to her to return to illustra or the six....KNOWING that Blaze was dead...and that SHE had something to do with it.
I didnt withhold this information from you to exclude you alexis...in fact..i didnt find out until AFTER Helena crashed the Gala...and by then...it was less than appropriate to tell you about THAT in the face of THIS! << flings arms around wildly ...motioning to the funeral and wake at hand>>
ive BARELY started to recover...and now i have to be confronted with the fact that SHE is alive..and my sister is DEAD!
<< Morgan abruptly turns and walks off...quickly and deliberately...as the grief over Blaze begins to overwhelm her. her tone and her agitation..her resentment of haleigh echoed through the large ballroom..and it was clear that morgan wished haleigh had stayed dead...if for no other reason than to balance death's tally...one good soul for one truly BAD soul>>

:: Dropping her hand, OOOOOOH that was the last straw. She narrowed her eyes, her expression was cold. As cold as Helena's. JUST as evil. JUST as sadistic. ::
"Upset me?"
:: A short laugh was heard, a laugh of "I can't believe it". ::
"My BROTHER just died! I was already down for the count, WHY NOT HIT ME WITH ANOTHER BOMB!"
:: She screamed. She wasn't directing this directly at Haleigh. She was yelling at everyone. Everyone kept her in the dark...Alexis' voice began to crack as she continued to scream. Showing her anger was only coated with sorrow. Why Haleigh...::
"I risk my life day in and day out for SELFISH, MANIPULATIVE PEOPLE JUST LIKE HELENA! AND FOR WHAT?!?!?!!?!?!!! TO GET MY BROTHER TAKEN AWAY!!! TO GET THE ONE PERSON I LOVED SO TRULY AND SO DEARLY TAKEN AWAY FROM ME?!"
:: Pointing at Haleigh. ::
"Tell me WHY I should stay in this stupid group! HUH! You've seen them, you've spoken to them! Tell me why I should continue this SHIT just to have the people I love taken away from me for no reason! Tell me WHY I am constantly knocked down when I’ve done NOTHING WRONG!"
:: Alexis was basically having a nervous breakdown. Oh yes...she had come unhinged and at the absolute worse time. Hearing Morgan's side of the story and seeing her storm out, she was the ONE person who knew how she felt. The one person who actually could relate. Shaking her head...Alexis was done. ::
"Fuck this group. I'm done."
:: Storming out of the livingroom, it was now silent. She made her way into the foyer to try and calm herself down. Morgan was off to the side, yet Alexis didn't say anything. She was too worked up to say anything at this point. ::

::Alison turned as Morgan and Alexis both had their adjustment reactions....Adrian was clearly responsible for catalyzing this all into action...moreso on Alexis' part. Morgan was merely expressing her disgust for Haleigh being alive....and not Blaze. Adrian of course managed to make it all seem right and good in his own warped mind....and so Alison did what she did best....belittle Haleigh::
NOW look what you've done! ITS ALL YOUR FAULT! why couldnt you have just stayed DEAD. its not like anyone is going to be any safer or better off with you here..at least with BLAZE..she tried her best to see the good in others and bring it out...she DIED trying to bridge the gap between morgan and your ungreatfull ass.....but youll never know that will you? you self absorbed walking peitrie dish!
::Alison walked away....to see about Alexis and Morgan. her position was quite clear...she too wouldve preferred Haleigh had stayed dead...it was her own damn fault she had died anyway....she never listend to Alison's warnings..and she didnt appear willing to start now. Alison's own emotions were raw....Haleigh's presence was just as much a confirmation of the finality of Blaze's death as it was Haleigh's living....and even CAMERON could sense the despair and sense of defeat in Alison's heart of hearts....::
Adrian laughed derisively at Haleigh, letting the after-effects of the mere mention of her name on Morgan and Alexis speak for itself. Abruptly standing as Alexis walked away, he followed after her, his coat billowing around him. He caught her arm gently as they both entered the foyer and he gently turned her around, so that Alexis was afforded his warm, brown gaze.
Of all of them, Adrian hadn't betrayed Alexis' trust. He appealed to that, now, speaking of the group patronizingly but with sincerity.
"Alexis..I mean, I don't think I'm one to speak right now, but just based on your.." he paused, trying to find the right words. "Reaction. Yeah. I mean...wouldn't you do the same thing in that situation?"
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. To Alexis, high on pheromones, alcohol and adrenaline, the motion alone was like sex.
"I've never been told something I don't want to hear, so frankly, all of this is kind of new to me," he said, speaking of what one might imagine would be the typical treatment a celebrity superstar has. "But truth is.. it's liberating," he spoke, as if every word he'd ever utter wasn't without ulterior motives. "And regardless of what my reaction might be, once in a while I myself would like people to give it to me straight up."
He looked at her, all chocolately goodness and soft black cotton wrapped into one man.
"Kind of like you did that day we met," he added, with a slight laugh.

"Well I’m glad my pain I so liberating for you, you self absorbed ass hole."
:: Yanking her arm away, Alexis wasn't in the mood to have Oprah moments, especially with Adrian. She didn't even know the man. And frankly, she didn't even know WHY he was here. She didn’t invite him. He wasn't apart of The Six. No one wanted him here. ::
"I don't expect you to understand something as "complicated" as human emotion, Adrian Lockhart. You stand around, soaking up your ridiculous fame; actually believing people "LOVE" you. Have everything handed to you on a silver platter just because you can manipulate anyone or thing you damn well please. Well GO AHEAD! Throw some pheromones at me. Fuck me right here, right now! Make me cum like I’ve never before! Manipulate me and get your damn trophy and LEAVE! I don't want to hear this bullshit sap story of yours!"
:: The pheromones were really getting a hold of her. She didn't feel aroused, but she couldn't hold back anymore. She just wanted to scream and shout and yell at the top of her lungs. The fact that Adrian even came over to her to express his feelings about the situation just drove Alexis up the wall. ::

"Oh, the INJUSTICE of it all!"
Haleigh shrieked sarcastically, finally fed up with Morgan and Alison throwing her return in her face. Morgan stalked off like a toddler. Haleigh let Alexis rage on without feeling the need to retaliate. Alexis had a right to be hurt and angry, had a right to be kamikaze for a while. Haleigh spoke softly after she'd asked her why she should stay. Alexis might not hear... because she too was stomping off.... but Haleigh voice was calm and clear, as she clasped her hands in front of her and twidled her thumbs, and she seemed... for ONCE... to be the one looking beyond the immediate... at the BIG picture. "Because the purpose of this STUPID group isnt about the people IN it... its about the people who AREN'T. THEIR lives are in jeopardy... and we... are like the Xmen... in that we save them because we are the only ones who can. Not neccessary because we WANT to... but because we NEED to."
Alison took yet another chance to showcase her ability to repeat herself nearly verbatim. It might not have been SO annoying if she wasnt echoing Morgan as well. Haleigh let her carry on as well... she was used to Alison's abuse by now... and unfazed by it. Haleigh did finally move, however, as Alison stalked off. Haleigh leapt quickly to her feet and caught up to her, leaving Cameron alone in the sitting area. Haleigh slowed as she neared Alison, thinking better of reaching out to touch her and instead calling her name.
"Alison..." Haleigh began, tossing her hair back. She was going to get a word in sideways, even if she had to follow Alison around this mansion... because it was time Alison actually LISTENED to Haleigh. "I just want you to know... I'm jsut as saddened by Blaze's untimely departure as you are, if not more. I may not have known her as long as you or Morgan have... but believe it or not... I loved that girl... and Id have given my all to save her if I was there. Now its not ALL my fault she's dead... but I share the blame, I admit, and I'm not as ungrateful as you paint me out to be. And to top it off... I'm NOT the one who deserves to be here... SHE is... but lifes NOT fair, now is it? It's not MY fault Blaze cant come back... THAT rest solely on Morgan's shoulders.... and in the blood that glistens on her Soul Sword. But here I am and here I'll stay, so just DEAL with it. The way I died... when I thought for SURE I couldn't possibly die yet... it stopped me on a dime... and these past few days... I've taken a good long hard look at what I'd do if I had the chance to do it all again... listen Alison... I know you hate me and you dont think very highly of me and all... but before I never again have the patience or the chance to say this, I just want to let you know... I forgive you for trying to kill Cameron and me in the Citadle that night, for being a total bitch to us thereafter... and I forgive you for not PROPERLY warning me about my death... and I dont even blame you for not being able to save Blaze from Morgan."
Haleigh's last add-on was just a LITTLE cutting... to retaliate for what Alison had said before... but for the most part... Haleigh's voice was both strong and sincere... and heartfelt.... which was a strange sensation to be coming from Haleigh. No doubt Alison would have something smart or hateful to say back... But Haleigh'd said her peace and now it didnt matter WHAT Alison said.... or even what she did.
Adrian stepped back, as if scalded. What the hell. Seriously. Even now she couldn't bring her guard down.
"Is that how you deal with pain and grief, Alexis? You lash out at others? Make baseless accusations? And I guess you think you're the first to pretend you have any clue as to what kind of a person I am?"
He sighed, almost as if he was disappointed in her.
"They see that my favorite color is blue on September's Issue of People's Magazine, and suddenly they know me. But they don't. And neither do you. You know [i]of[/] me, Alexis, and don't mistake that ignorant cockiness as any kind of reliant indicator on who Adrian Lockhart is, because that question has been asked a thousand times before, and I'm not planning on letting you be the proverbial Sherlock Holmes."
Adrian raised his eyes, looking at her candidly.
"The rumors are probably true. I'm wild. A great toss in the sack. Someone who's studied sex and mastered it down to a fucking science. Anyone. Anywhere. Doesn't matter."
He dropped his voice low, his tone coated with lewdness and sex.
"I could fuck you into multiple epiphanies up here against the wall, with that pretty outfit of yours torn to shreds and my big dick pounding into your tight cunt, banging away all of that frustration that even now is kept bottled up. And your hands would be tearing at my back, and I'd suck on your right nipple and make you moan like a common street whore."
Adrian cocked his head, averting his gaze.
"And it'd feel fucking great, and then you'd get over the moment and -- because let's face it, you'll eventually regress into that uptight, man-eating blonde -- pretend it never happened. So what's the point, huh?"
He stepped closer, his eyes speaking of a deep, old hurt. Etched in those magnificient, dark brown irses.
"I met you and you weren't on Cloud Nine because I was intrigued. Even now, when you're all emotionally fucked up, I don't want to take advantage of you. Shit, Alexis, what's so hard to understand? I like you, and it's painful to watch you have to confront all of this."
Adrian sighed.
"Whatever. Sometimes it's easier for people to think they're being manipulated than confront the realities of a situation, which may or may not leave them vulnerable."

:: For some reason, she found Adrian's description of fucking her rather....sexy. Perhaps it was the pheromones that leaked from him or the alcohol she consumed earlier. Or maybe it was just her passionate nature taking over because of the fact she has let everything that was pent up inside out. But Alexis wasn't shocked. She wasn't appalled...much. She just stood there. Frankly, she was pretty surprised he would call her uptight. Just because she was a strong woman who didn't bend over backwards to men, cry at every conceivable moment, feel the need to express her deepest of emotions to everyone? Please. ::
"Are you finished?"
:: She folded her arms across her chest. ::
"Look. I do...I..."
:: Sighing. ::
"The fact that you're here after everything that I’ve done and said to you in the past couple of days, shows a lot about your character. Regardless of how...vulgar you are."
:: Of course referring to his little monologue. ::
"But I don't know you Adrian. I met you twice before now. And you don't know me. I'm not as uptight as you think I am. I can be fun. I can be sexy. I can be...human. But when I lose my friends in a battle that should of never happened, lose my brother...have my pathetic life shoved in my face by my aunt, and find out that one of the friends I thought was dead is now alive, I’m not exactly in the mood to be all bubbly and gushy, okay? I'm tired of this. I'm tired of it all."
:: Placed her hand up to her face, Alexis shut her eyes while lowering her head. ::
"I used to be calm, clear headed, and decisive. And now I’m frantic, confused, and an emotional wreck. I mean, look at me. I can't even stop myself from crying every five minutes."
:: Sniffing, I guess she was opening up to Adrian; yet was still on guard. Frankly she didn't mean to lash out at him before. She didn't mean to lash out at anyone before. And she was beginning to regret it. Just like drinking the glass of Vodka. Just like making a huge scene infront of all the guests at her brother's funeral reception. What the hell was wrong with her? She didn't even feel like Alexis anymore. ::

:: As Cameron watched Adrian lash out like that, Prophet could only roll his eyes. Who did this guy think he was. ::
"First of all, Dr. Phil... no matter what people have inside them, it isn't your JOB to bring that out, turn the curiosity off. From what I saw in your head, it's already claimed the lives of your parents and I would like to see Alexis live, THANK you.. and don't flatter yourself. I barely knew who you were when I met you, and I still don't care to know who you ARE. I just want you to get OUT of here..."
:: He turned around and suddenly felt EXTREMELY lightheaded. His vision blurred and to those in the room it seemed that Cameron's eyes were rolled up in the back of his head. A phantom like form began to appear in front of him. At first he didn't really recognize who it was, but as the form came closer to him, he realized who it was. It was AJ Quartermaine, the very man they were mourning over at this Reception. Only nobody else seemed to see it but him. Cameron looked white as a, no pun intended, ghost as AJ came closer to him and began to speak. ::
AJ: Cameron.. you have to know.. I need to get my message to Alexis! She has to know the truth..
Cameron: I mean, what, I mean, how?
AJ: Ever since you were embraced into the King Witch Bloodline, you have received this gift. You are the only person that can see or hear me. I have an urgent message, but you can't hold on for much longer. It is draining you fast..
Cameron: Well! Then don't wait! Tell Me!
AJ: My death wasn't accidental, Cameron. Helena did it! Helena killed me!
Cameron: What? How? What For?
:: But that was about as far as Cameron got before he suddenly found himself getting up off of the floor. What had just happened? Had he really just talked to the Spirit of AJ Quartermaine? Could this all be true? Could someone just be messing with him? An Illusion? Whatever the reason, Cameron would wait until he knew for sure what was going on before he would tell anyone. As he got back to his feet, he looked at the others who would obviously be confused at him talking to himself. He shrugged. ::
"Sorry..I had a headache.. Some of whom know what's going on.."
:: This day was just getting better and better ::
Adrian's gaze softened as he chewed on his lower lip. He hadn't expected her to confide anything to him -- on the contrary, Adrian had warily prepared for another rebuttal.
"I..Alexis..if it took this.." and he waved in the air emphatically to sum up the entire chaotic evening, "for you to finally be honest about what's been biting you in the ass, there's a problem."
He frowned.
"I don't. Not even now...I don't understand why you find it so appealing to keep everything locked up in there. Why should you? It's not healthy."
Hesitantly at first, and then with more confidence, he pried her fingers away from her face, finally dragging her hands back to her lap.
"It's not wrong to smile, to laugh, to scream, or to cry. And hell, given the fact we're in a secluded location out of sight from the paparazzi, I would take advantage of it," he stated forcefully, letting her hands go.
"I don't want to impede on anything, Alexis," Adrian said carefully. "But I'm the type of person that won't stand by and let bad things happen. Especially to people I care about."
And of course, feeling the swift denial of any emotion other than that tainted by superficiality, he would add with haste, "Or at least people I want to get to know."

Suddenly, thirty men appeared out of no where. Spread out in the livingroom and the foyer. Covering everyone that was present. Suddenly each man began to swarm each member of the six. Five on one.
A man grabbed Alexis from behind as another whipped out a stun gun and pressed it into her stomach. Pain curdling screams could be heard as the blonde hunched over trying to catch her breath. They began to pick her flailing body up, taking her toward an exit.
Another man came up behind Adrian, clubbing him across the head. The massive hit sent him flying forward as another man quickly jumped on top of him, pinning his arms behind his back. He too was tazored as another handcuffed him.
Cameron was caught off guard by a swift kick to the back of the knee, sending him dropping forward. Placing a black bag over his head, the man pulled it tight, cutting off his airflow and preventing him from seeing, while another held him in place.
Haleigh was next. A large "bouncer" looking man grabbed a hold of Haleigh from behind, holding her still. Another came up and slammed the butt of his gun across Hale's face with ample force. As she was distracted and pretty much dazed from the hit, he slipped his hands up her dress unstrapping the gun from her leg.
And finally, Morgan and Alison. Two men grabbed a hold of both Morgan and Alison's arms, holding them still. One came and sprayed mase straight into Alison's eyes as another came up behind both Morgan and Alison, tazoring them in the back. Helena made sure to take these two out with as much force as possible. As the men continued to man handle Morgan and Alison, soon two men each went over to Morgan and Alison, slamming a syringe into any open piece of flesh they could find, injecting them with a sedative.
This all happened within seconds. The men appeared and instantly began to attack each person at the same time. Everything was fast and planned. Helena knew how to take each person out. She knew a quick attack with multiple people would throw everyone off guard. Would confuse them. She wasn't going to allow them to get away. She wanted them dead. Plain and simple. Not for world domination. Not to bask in the glory of killing "the six". But because she despised them. She despised the support they were giving Alexis. She despised their arrogant personalities. She wanted them dead to satisfy her own happiness. Granted the six had powers, but Helena had the element of surprise; that added with the massive quantity of men out numbering them. She was going to exterminate them once and for all.

:: Screaming, Alexis felt the painful sting of the tazor that was pressed against her stomach, making her drop to the floor. The men grabbed her, holding onto her to keep her flailing limbs still. As she continued to fight, she turned to her head seeing the rest of The Wildpack attacking everyone relentlessly...and soon, saw both Morgan and Alison fall. ::
"NO!"
:: She yelled as she continued to struggle. It was more of a "no" I can't believe they're down and "no, let me go" combined. She had to give Helena credit, she was doing her hardest to stop The Six. As the men lifted her, she continued struggle trying to get away from the relentless tazor attacks, but it was useless. The man kept pushing it into her skin, making her grow weaker. She felt sick...like she was going to vomit. The area of her skin that was being tazored began to bleed, she grew dizzy. Damn, if this was what she was doing to people with her powers, boy did she feel like a bitch right now. ::
"Let go of me!"
:: As the men continued to drag her towards an exit, it was obvious Helena wanted her away from the group. But, even now, Alexis wasn't going to give Helena that chance. Closing her eyes, Alexis' body soon began to glow white as her body began to send pulses of electricity into all the men that were touching her. They all yelled in pain, dropping her instantly. Hitting the floor with a loud THUD, the noise was masked by the other commotion that was happening to the other people. The wind was knocked out of her, causing her to gasp for air. Her head was spinning from it slamming into the hard flooring. Rolling it to the side, she scrambled to get up....a man tried to grab her leg. She quickly threw and energy ball at him, sending him flying back. Another man grabbed her arm. Swinging her free arm, she slammed er fist into his face, causing him to let go. She managed to get up to her knees. Head still spinning, stomach still hurting. Seeing yet another man gain his composure from her attack, he leapt forward ready to tackle Alexis. She quickly raised her hand causing a web of electricity to shoot out from her hand and wrap around the man, burning him to a crisp. But it was just too much. The men kept multiplying. They gained on Alexis, forcing back down to the ground. Screaming out of anger, suddenly, her yelling was subsided. One of The Wildpack slammed his gun into the back of her neck, knocking her out cold. ::

Haleigh waited, her hands on her hips, expecting Alison to cop out... but she didnt have the chance, as they were all suddenly swarmed by burly men with quick moves and planned attacks. A man grabbed her from behind, squeezing her tight, even as she immediately began to struggle. She managed to duck her head enough away from the butt of the gun that it was just a glancing blow, painful but not incapacitating. Her surprise instantly turned to anger as the man got a little frisky...
"Oh NO the fuck you didnt just reach up my dress, you brave, STUPID boy!"
She rasped, leanign back into the man who held her and wrapping her legs around the neck of the man who'd just taken her gun. Haleigh squeezed the mans neck, and with a sudden jerk of her hips and the ssickening snapping sound, broke his neck. She released his neck, letting him fall to the ground.... it was her first kill since she'd return... but she showed no signs of hesitation. She took the man who held her by the thumb, using what leverage she had to twist his arm away from her, breaking his wrist. Haleigh went into instant defense mode, fighting off the men who were closing in. A left uppercut here, a right hook there... Haleigh, though small and delicate looking, was leveling grown men quickly all around her. She roundhouse kicked the next man who dared move in, knocking him in the jaw and k.o.ing him instantly. The next man was smarter, and kept his distance... but there were more coming, and they were closing in on her. where the hell are these idiots all coming from?? It was the last thing she thought.... someone from behind shot a highpowered stungun at her... and it was set SO high... that the overload to her sensitive tech system immediately knocked her out, as though a circuit breaker trips when too much power runs through it. The man who stunned her stepped forward and caught her body as she collapsed, sniggering.

:: Cameron now found himself with a bag over himself and his body thrown on the ground. He gasped for air as he began to feel the tie of the bag and picturing it in his mind. From there he was able to telekinetically give it a huge PULL from the right angle and as it loosened, Prophet grabbed his breath and threw the bag off of his head as he got to his feet to face the four men. ::
"Sorry Guys.. I'm just NOT into Gangbangs, however, my friend Adrian over there might be JUST up your alley!"
:: He threw out his hands as his group of men were thrown with great telekinetic force against an adjacent wall, crashing so hard that their bodies left imprints as they slid down. ::
"Piece of Cake..."
:: Cameron turned around as he watched Haleigh get knocked out by some sort of Stun Gun. He panicked as he tried to help her. ::
"Haleigh! Get your hands off her you drooling GOON!"
:: Without another word a rather Metal Serving Plate flew from seemingly out of nowhere at a great speed, so much so that as it connected with the neck of one of Helena's Henchmen, it completely decapitated him as his body fell to the floor and Haleigh was free though still knocked out. He was somewhat confused as to what to do. With his telepathy he could have taken them all out. He had to rely solely on his telekinesis for the first time in a long while. He was nervous and if someone caught him at the right moment, it would be over for Cameron King. ::

:: Cameron had gotten away, but he was far from danger. Two men appeared in front of him, lunging forward. But what he didn't see was another man appeared behind him, with a large butterfly knife in his hand. Flipping it open, he reached around Cameron's shoulder pulling him back into the knife, stabbing him right in the back. Holding the knife tightly against his back, the man soon began to turn it, slicing his flesh in an oh so painful sort of way. ::
----
:: In the foyer, the ladies weren't doing too hot themselves. Not only was Alexis knocked out, but Morgan and Alison too. With all the amount of power the six had, Helena's powerLESS men managed to take control of the situation. It was brilliant actually. A man quickly scooped up Alexis' limp body and headed for the large cherrywood shelving unit which was next to the staircase. Pulling on one of the statues placed on the end of the banister, the shelves slid to the side revealing a passage. It was the entrance to the many hidden underground tunnels located in Wyndemere. The man with Alexis entered first as five others followed behind. The shelve slid back to place, as if was never moved. ::

:: Prophet went to face the two men in front of him when he was caught off balance by a tug to his shoulder and then an immense amount of pain in his back. The stab actually took his breath away as he coughed a few times and fell hard to the ground, completely and utterly incapicitated. He couldn't even speak it hurt so bad. He looked around but he couldn't see the other girls. Where had they gone? Where was everyone? The pain was creeping up on him in a very less than friendly way as he slowly slipped out of consciousness, muttering two small words as he passed out. ::
"You...suck..."
As Adrian flew foward, his body landed onto the ground and he skidded. The steady path towards a piece of furniture was halted as another man jumped on top of him and halted his progression. He felt the chilling touch of metal as handcuffs were put on him.
Adrian surpressed a laugh. Thousands of goons could attack him for all he cared. All it took was the simple will power to let his pheromones leak out and take control of these countless men for him to sabotage the plans of Helena. Unlike the rest of The Six, Adrian was very capable of successful resistance. Yet this attack would work in his favor, and as he felt the comforting numbness associated with blacking out, he thought, You fools. You have no idea who you're messing with.

Helena slowly made her way into the livingroom, her heals the only sounds that could be heard in the large open room. The Wildpack stopped. They looked to their mistress and rested their hands behind their back, now standing in a military "at ease" position. Helena's eyes shifted from one fallen member to another. Her smirk growing with intensity seeing how they laid helplessly in her livingroom...just waiting to be murdered. Walking through the livingroom, she soon came upon the fallen Alison and Morgan. A sadistic laugh could be heard.
"No smart comments and witty comebacks, Alison?"
Helena pushed Alison's unconscious body over with the toe of her shoe, rolling her from her stomach to her back. The woman's bone straight brown locks scattered along her face. She wanted to see her face. The face that defied her at ever meeting, scrutinized her for being an "old lady not capable of anything".
"Stupid bitch."
Helena pounded her foot into Alison's face, kicking her right in the cheekbone/eye. Her limp head rolled from one side to another. Helena sneered, seeing a small amount of blood trickling down the corner of her eye.
Lifting her gaze from Alison to Morgan, a loud laugh could be heard echoing throughout the estate.
"And you. You are exactly like your mother. Predictable to the T. Headstrong, and cocky. Well...you'll suffer the same fate as Karen soon enough. But I have more pressing issues to attend to."
Waving her hand, one of the members from the Wildpack placed his hand on Helena's shoulder...
"Kill them all."
She murmured in a harsh, deep tone. And with that, Helena and the men touching her, disappeared from sight, only leaving the Wildpack and the unconscious six.
---
Appearing in an cave which was connected to the many numerous tunnels that ran under Wyndemere, Helena smiled seeing one of her men holding Alexis' helpless body.
"Put her over there."
Helena pointed to a chair which had wire ropes and handcuffs resting on it.
"I'm going to take great pleasure in this, my dear sweet Alexis..."
Helena's voice echoed throughout the caverns. The tunnels under Wyndemre estate had been there for centuries. There were hundreds of maze like tunnels that stretched as far as five miles under not only Wyndemre itself, but it's grounds. It was the perfect place to hide out...and an even better place to commit murder.
Adrian Lockhart had awaken minutes after Alexis' departure with the maleficent Helena Quartermaine. Propped up against a wall with his hands behind his back, Adrian observed with disdain as Helena's henchmen guaffed and pointed at him, making derisive comments about the amount of money his ransom could produce.
"Boys, boys," Adrian interrupted good-humoredly, "let's cut the crap. Where did your mistress run off to?"
One of the head henchmen, Ralph, laughed at him. Some of his spittle landed on Adrian's cheek. Adrian bit his tongue.
"Like we'd tell you," Ralph snapped, approaching Adrian with a brandished razor. Something about Adrian's countenance chilled Ralph; his eyes were cold, full of empowering confidence. Ralph pushed away his uneasiness. Adrian Lockhart was at his mercy.
Ralph didn't know much about Adrian.
Adrian smiled suddenly. "You're going to kill me with that?" he asked Ralph incredulously, and one of Ralph's subordinate, Alex, elbowed him in the ribs and whispered in a voice laced with terror, "Boss, I've read about this stuff in magazines. He's been attacked before. No one has succeeded. They've been fucking poisoned sometimes."
"Shut up," Ralph whispered back hoarsley, but doubt clouded his eyes.
"What's that smell?" a Wildpack member's voice asked, interrupting his sporatic thoughts.
Ralph's gaze shot towards Adrian. The celebrity looked up at him calmly. A scent akin to cyanide intercepted Ralph's nostrils. A few moments later, and the eerie sound of sighs filled the room. As Adrian's pores continuously supplied a steady stream of lethal toxins, the room full of croonies shook as every henchmen fell. Adrian observed the strewn bodies for a second and then quickly turned to the task at hand.
He wiggled his fingers, fingers restricted by metal cuffs, and felt the chemical assurance of acid materialize around his hands, melting the metal like butter. Standing now, Adrian looked toward his fallen "comrades". When the last remnants of toxins disappeared, he kneeled before Alison and touched her cheek with a cool hand. Skin made contact with skin, and a liquid that felt like ice shot through her veins, awakening her.
"Wake up, Alison," he'd murmur gently, peering down at the blonde beauty.

:: Pain. That was pretty much all that Cameron felt when he awoke on the floor. It had been a pretty bad stab wound to the back, but he had sustained worse. Morgan had removed his skeleton from his body and he was alive to tell the tale. This compared to that was a mere flesh wound. His vision was a little blurry as he awoke to see Adrian oogling his older sister Alison as he immediately got up and ran over to the both of them as he swiped his hand away from her face just after he had touched her. ::
"Jesus.. Let's try and NOT pull some kind of date rape on my sister tonight, don't you think you've done enough?"
:: He looked around to see Morgan a few feet away from him. Cameron searched around for some kind of smell that might wake them up. For a moment, he pondered asking Adrian to borrow his underwear, but then he didn't want to have to deal with the man telling him that he didn't wear any. So Cameron ran into what appeared to be the kitchen as he noticed the trash can. Inside was a banana peel so rotten that Cameron himself almost vomitted. This would do. Apparantely Helena was not the cleanest person in the world. He grabbed the festered peel and walked over to Morgan and put it right under her nose. The smell HAD to wake her up. He did the same exact thing to Alison before tossing the banana peel aside so that nobody would be none the wiser. And plus, he could just imagine now the comparatives that Morgan could draw between a rotten banana peel and Cameron King himself. He awaited for both of them to wake up. Adrian was taking care of his sister, and with an extremely watchful and guarded eye, He monitored both of them but sat at the side of Morgan. ::
"Come on, Victoria... Wake up now..."

Haleigh's eyelids fluttered softly before opening slowly. Her vision was double for a moment as she lay on her side, groaning. Her hands were bound behind her back with metal handcuffs, and as she sat up she pulled them apart, until the short chain was taut, and then applied extra pressure until the chain snapped, her hands free but now with the cuffs still around her wrists.
"That was really dirty, you sneaky bastard....." She said, turning around to look behind her, finding the man headless. "Oh... didnt work out ot well for you, did it?" Haleigh continued to survey her surroundings as she scooped up her gun from the floor... Cameron and Adrian were knelt over Alison and Morgan. "No no, don't fret over me, I'm fine." She said sarcastically, getting up and walking over to stand by the boys. "So how bad a shape are they in? Wait..." She stopped, looking around, her brow furrowed, a worried tone in her voice. "WHERE'S Alexis??"

:: Unconscious, Alexis' body was strapped to a metal chair that was bolted to the concrete ground. Metal chains wrapped both her wrists to the arm rests of the chair, and her ankles to the legs. She was completely subdued. Her head rested forward, completely limp. Her blonde locks shading her face. But if it wasn't enough to actually knock Alexis out, Helena wanted to drug her also. To prevent the usage of her powers. One of the Wildpack came up to Alexis and pushed a long syringe into her bare arm, injecting her with a hallucinogenic drug. This drug would cause her to be too weak to use her powers and not be able to differentiate between reality and illusions. ::
:: Some time had passed, and soon, Alexis began to come to. Moving her head slightly to the side, it felt like a thousand pounds...it was pounding. The noise around her was muffled and slow. A soft moan could be heard as she rolled her head back allowing it to rest on the chair. Her eyes were shut but soon began to flutter. Slowly opening them, everything was blurred. The lights looked like they were moving, the people walking around her seemed to be in slow motion. She was too weak to even talk. As she continued to come to, Helena didn't waste any time... ::
Hearing the sound of footsteps and feeling Cameron's indignant swipe at his hand, Adrian rolled his eyes. "Date rape? I was administering a synpasial stimulant." He watched the telepath crudely weilding a rotton banana peel with something of a smirk. "I think my method is not only cleaner, but more reliable."
Shaking his head with a laugh, Adrian stood. He could feel the tension between them, thick enough to cut with a knife. Not that he'd blame Cameron -- Adrian had seduced him. Practically raped him.
Adrian could care less.
"Hold still," he murmured as he kneeled behind Cameron, analyzing the wound with a critical eye. Running a hand across the scarred flesh, an antibiotic chemical from his pores began to slather the wound. "It'll sting, but with no pain comes no gain. It's a disinfectant and it'll heal you up faster."
Standing, Adrian looked around. "Alexis. We need to find Alexis."

Looking around the brightly lit cavern, it looked like an underground lab...something out of Resident Evil. It was no surprise that Helena had built this place with the aid of MysTech...the equipment alone was reminiscent of the citadel.
Along one of the cavern walls, there about 30 monitors, all showing different sections of Wyndemre. And about five revealing another room....a room similar to the one she was in....
She watched as Adrian killed her men with his toxins....she scoffed. They were all starting to come to. Rolling her eyes, sometimes her Wildpack was as useless as the next thug. Helena turned to one of her men.
"Seal the doors to the east and west passages. I don't need Alison to reveal our location."
The man nodded as he proceeded down a passage way, disappearing. The plus about working with MysTech...all the wonderful technology that could stop rats like The Six. The entire section Helena, Alexis, and her men were in, is protected by not only sealed, indestructible steal doors, but a psi screen, preventing not only Alison, but Cameron from being able to locate them. And for an added little bonus, some friendly faces (MysTech goons) to greet the group if they actually found the doorway to the cavern. This was all strategically planned out. To the T. But how did Helena know that the six would be after her....why would she invest so much effort just to keep Alexis away from the six. There was something more to Helena's plans. There was much more to this story then meets the eye... ::

:: Cameron was wondering the same exact thing. Just where WAS Helena and Alexis for that matter. He began to look around as he was trying his best to remember the last few things he saw before he passed out. His wound was now healed but it still burned like a bitch for some reason. He would thank Adrian later. Maybe. ::
"I'm not sure Morgan... but I think they are still somewhere in the house. I never heard anyone taken off and I noticed that we haven't been knocked out for all that long...."
:: He had looked at the clock before passing out and now noticed only about five minutes had been passed before he woke up again. There was no way that everyone could have left that fast. No way at all. Cameron turned to Alison who was about to talk to Haleigh and quickly turned to Morgan. ::
"Do you think you could do some kind of scrying spell while Alison is talking to Haleigh? It might give us an Idea at least even if we don't get the exact location...I remember something about a bookcase? I'm not sure..."
He looked at Alison with something of bemusement etched on his face.
"Coping...raping...assaulting," he said slowly, looking between her and Cameron. "Is this some kind of familial paranoia you two share?" He flicked his wrist expertly, almost as if he intended to slap Alison, and the chemical smell of nitrogen accompanied with the sight of black liquid grazed past her cheek, landing on the outstretched hand of a Wildpack member who had, unbelievably, some fight left in him. The offending limb, now coated with the shiny substance, froze almost instantaneously. Raising an eyebrow towards Alison, Adrian slowly walked past her and to the writhing croonie.
"Hi there," he remarked with a cheerfulness that did not reach his eyes, which remained cold and expressionless. The henchmen groaned. Adrian grabbed him by the wrist and pulled him up. Signs of deterioration were visible on the man's skin -- flesh that now had an unhealthy green look. His tissue, damaged beyond repair, revealed dozens of tiny broken veins, which would have been otherwise hidden on a healthy body. Staring at Alison, Adrian shattered the hand, and an unearthly cry filled the room. The symbolism would not be lost to this knowing woman; he had deliberately destroyed this man's hand in the same fashion she chose, to demonstrate to Alison that he had just as much ruthlessness and power. As for the rest of the Six, it might perhaps be a fascinating display of just how sadistic this pretty boy can be.
"Call me crazy, but I'm not into necrophilia," Adrian commented dryly, looking distastefully at the bloodshot, yellow eyes that stared at him with a mixture of horror, anger and marvel. "See if he knows anything will ya?" he said to Cameron, throwing the dying creature in the air effortlessly. A loud "thud" resounded as the henchmen fell to the telepath's feet.

:: Cameron looked at Adrian with discontempt and a little bit of anger. Nobody knew he had shut off his telepathy. Well at least Morgan and Adrian didn't. He had to tell Alison and Haleigh, but he would now have to admit this in front of everyone. How would they react. ::
"Uh.. I can't. Not anymore. I shut off my telepathy. I can't used it. I sealed it away. I have personal reasons for doing so, none of which are YOUR business, so I would appreciate in the future if you didn't ask me to use my telepathy. Thanks."
:: Suddenly, Prophet got another more familiar headache. The same when AJ had appeared to him the first time. Only this time, he only heard whispers. He heard the names Helena and Adam. Adam Chandler? Alexis' father? ::
"And guys.. I have been getting messages.. Oh god, I feel like the boy from the Sixth Sense, but AJ has been sending me things. He told me that Helena killed him. Then I am hearing Adam, who I am believing to be Adam Chandler. I think that the two were working together. I think AJ knew something he shouldn't.. There is definitely something going on under the surface and Mystech is definitely at the forefront.
:: Turning back to Morgan and the rest ::
"Now, I don't know if it's intuition, but I think there is some kind of hidden passage in the house. I know it is on this floor, and I think it's by the staircase, I just don't know exactly where or what triggers it..."

Haleigh's chin rest on her chest, as she rolled her head slowly and rubbed the back of her neck with one hand. She sighed as Alison spoke to her, looking up at the woman, their eyes locking and Haleigh holding her gaze for a few seconds before dropping her chin again, reaching down between her shoulder blades gently.
"Oh Alison.... I would be insulted if you didnt."
She said, loud enough to be heard by Alison and no one else. She kept reaching, brushing her fingers over the tender spot in the middle of her shoulder blades where the electricity from the stun gun had made its entry point. they had REALLY turned up the heat... enough to burn Haleigh's skin, and now it itched as it healed. She gently scraped her fingernails over it, wincing instantly, experiencing a sting much like when you scratch sunburn. A knocking sound came from the front door, and Haleigh looked up. She looked back at the 'team', telling them it was okay and volunteering to answer it. Her heels clicked across the marble floors of the foyer, echoing in the open space. The door creaked as she opened it.
"Hello Boys."
She said simply, lightly, as though the guys next door had come over for dinner. Two men stood in front of the threshold, each carrying a duffle bag and one carrying a metal breifcase of sorts. Haleigh ushered them in and immediately began picking through the bags. It was clear to the group that she'd called CI for gear in the past few seconds.
Haleigh opened the metal case, her eyes sparkling. She pulled out a white outfit and turned it over, inspecting it... it looked like a track suit... but she treated it like it was made of gold, as she pulled off her heels, grabbing one of her men's arms to stabilize herself. She pulled the pants on, then smoothed the fabric out. The fabric looked like a polyester/cotton blend, and Haleigh seemed satisfied with it but looked underdressed next to the dominatrix 'Madam Discipline' looking Alison and Morgan. She slipped her dress off over her head, making no attempt to be modest with her perfectly full cleavage or hide her pastel pink lace bra, undressing as though she were alone though she was in plain view. She slid her arms into the 'track suit' jacket, zipping it up. She pulled slightly on the fabric, smiling and mumbling something of praise. She pulled on matching white Diesel tennis shoes. It seemed ironic, Haleigh wearing white, but she went on picking through the bags, unfazed. A few minutes later and she was sliding a long hunting knife into a sheath under her pant leg and snapping a magazine into a Walther P22.
"Okay gentlemen... thanks for bringing it over. Mark, take this dress back to Mrs Allusi."
Mark: "We brought all this and all you're taking is a pocket knife and a bb gun?"
"First of all... when I take this 10 inch blade across your throat and it slices your head off, you'll realize its NOT a pocket knife... Secondly, NEVER knock a Walther. This little handheld could put a sizeable hole in your ass. Thirdly.... you can't possibly expect me to carry this all with me, can you? Leave the bags... the stuff is within reach here."
She said firmly, pulling her blonde locks back into a ponytail. She rejoins the group, as Adrian tortures a last survivor. She watches, her expression blank and her green eyes steely, undisturbed by his mercilessness. She looks from the fallen figure back to Adrian, and though her face is still stoic, in her eyes exists a glint that can be mistaken for none other than approval.... She rolls her eyes as Morgan embarks upon one of her holier than thou 'dont-think-to-highly-of-yourself-because-i'm-THE-bitch-around-here' speeches. She waited until Morgan was finished to politely inject herself into the discussion.
"Well standing around talking about Helena wont accomplish much... I give us about five more minutes of talking before threats start flying... so lets wrap this up and move on. Alexis is our top priority... we need to ensure her safety FIRST... and then move on Helena from there. Cameron... you said something about them disappearing behind a ghost door near the staircase?"
Adrian smiled, outwardly oblivious to Cameron's discomfort, but in the back of his mind he knew. The half-dead soldier would have just as easily submitted to him, dying or otherwise. Yet.
He had taken note as soon as Cameron's "reactions", which were reflexive and sharp when aided with telepathy, had slowed during his manipulation of Alexis. Their first encounter still burned bright in Adrian's mind. Black tuxedos, the unique sensation of slight stubble and roughness, and of course, Cameron's formidable defense mechanisms which had delved into Adrian's mind, unlocking his deepest secrets.
When he failed to pounce on Adrian during the interaction with Alexis, Adrian suspected something. To his great surprise and pleasure, these suspicions were now solidifed.
"Sure thing, man," he said outloud, nonchalant. But the admission would no doubt make Cameron more malleable. He ignored the outside interruption associated with Haleigh, as yet another member decided to give him a speech.
When Morgan addressed him, Adrian turned to her for the first time. Looked at her. Really looked at her. Morgan Victoria. The catalyst of the sequence of events which had landed him here, in an unlikely and forced companionship with four different individuals, united only in the search for Alexis, the last of the group. At times like these, Adrian himself marveled at the scope of his machinations, but lest he drift out of thought, listened to her sharp tongue.
"I know that this is my fault," he said softly, his brown gaze raising bravely to stare at her icey blue irises. "And I'm going to fix the problem, Ms. Victoria."
An admission of guilt. And no defensive rebuttals. Not a suave introduction to this woman who he had been dying to meet, nor a correction about Cameron, who he would argue was just as filthy in his eyes. Rather than make excuses and smooth talk his way out of this, Adrian stated the situation in a concise, matter-of-fact way. Undoubtedly something new to this woman, who was used to dealing with the irresponsible. But this man was a gifted chameleon, and it was apparent that no amount of eloquency would convince them of another source of the problem. This attack had been inevitable, and Adrian would deal with his position as the scapegoat with grace.
"You guys mentioned a hidden staircase around here," he continued, his eyes searching the room. "But I don't think we have time to excavate this passageway with a pick and axe."
Suddenly turning and, without a word, Adrian walked out of the living room and into the hallway, striding in large, confident steps toward the staircase. He stopped. Analyzing the stairs and then looking forward, towards the entrance of the Quartermaine library. Adrian cycled over the situation.
Alexis Quartermaine. Daughter of Adam, associated with Mystech. Science. Hostage of Helena, who killed AJ in connection with Mystech. Mystech. Science.
Adrian put a hand on the railing to steady himself, and raised the other hand to rub his head. He had never actually gotten a headache, but the mere comforting motion acted as a wonderful placebo.
The library. It had to be. It was cliche, but there was no way it would be right near the staircase, where there was always traffic.
Walking faster now, with a sense of urgency, Adrian burst open through the library. Seconds later, a very strong smell of toxins invaded the room and wafted outside. No books were visible, and the immense library was laid bare. The finely constructed wooden shelves melted, along with the books, Adrian stared in frustration at the walls, which had no remote indication of a secret passageway.
Unless...
He looked down at the expensive Persian rug which carpeted the floor. A few more seconds passed, and that fabric was also melted away with Adrian's highly potent toxins. He stared, again repulsed by the lack of any kind of entrance. During the "meltdown" of the libray, any kind of trigger for this passageway had also been demolished. It would have to be manually found. And he knew, with inexpressable certainy, that it was in this room. Adrian stomped his feet in chidlike frustration.
A hollow sound rebounded back to him, echoing in the large, enclosed room.
He blinked, staring down at the area below his feet. He knew that sound. Like hard metal relaying something insignificant.
Throwing his hand down, palm facing the floor, a powerful blast of venom shook the floor as it penetrated the radius around Adrian. The venom sizzled, burning through a surprisingly resiliant wood and tearing away at the vestiges of some sort of panel. In its destruction, a bright metal surface came into view with a metal handle and a password key, fixed with green digits, next to the handle.
Kicking away the last of the wood, Adrian grinned triumphantly at the door, no doubt leading to an underground passage of some sort. Simple yet effective. Eveyone always tried to complicate the situation and create elaborate problems when, really, this problem's genius lay in its cunning. A cunning Adrian could appreciate.
"It's here," he shouted, raising his head towards the doorway.

:: Opening her eyes widder now, Alexis' vision was still scewed. Even though she could see people more clearly then before, they seemed to still move at a very slow pace, and the lights around them would move in a werid circular motion. Blinking a few times, she desperately tried to keep her head upright as it still felt very heavy. Leaning it back against the chair once again, she rolled it to the left, casting her glance to Helena. ::
"Where am...I..."
:: Alexis softly muttered. She sounded drugged: her voice very weak and speech almost slurred. ::
Closing her eyes once again, everything hurt. Her body, her mind..everything. It hurt to speak, blink, breath. Alexis was so doped up she didn't even realize she was chained to the chair. ::

Turning to Alexis, a smile appeared on her thin lips. She was finally awake...well, if you call THAT awake. Allowing er men to continue on with what she was doing, Helena stepped away and made her way toward Alexis. As she attempted to speak, Helena bent down to her nieces level, looking at her in the eyes.
"Hell, darling."
Brushing a few of her blonde tresses away from her face with her boney fingers, Helena stood somewhat then stopped. Leaning forward, her mouth mere inches from Alexis' ear.
"Say hello to your brother for me..."
A soft malicious laugh could be heard as she moved away from Alexis, now standing upright. Looking at her niece once again loose consciousness, a warm and fuzzy feeling just ran through Helena's entire body. This was like Christmas for her. But her fuzzy feeling soon subsided with some rather disturbing news...
Man: "Adrian Lockhart found the entry way to the tunnels."
Gritting her teeth, Helena made her way past Alexis and to the wall of monitors, seeing that in fact, Adrian did find the passage way. She didn't expect him of all people to find the door...she assumed his rubber sex doll had more sense then that toxic oaf. Nevertheless, Helena crossed her arms, watching the monitor closely.
"Dispatch Varook."

<<Morgan was the first to arrive in the massive library....and observed what Adrian had uncovered. He was by far the most efficient of them all....save Alison...and he was the only one beside Alison who had actually done something concrete rather than trying to stand against HER. She wasnt sure what to make of this dark and mysterious young man...yet>>
<< leaning forward a bit and narrowing her eyes>>
<<in an icy voice>>: this leads to the catacombs that Alison "saw"? well there is no magick involved..i would have sensed it. this search and rescue operation should go easily....even with Haleigh and Cameron here....
<< she eyed Adrian with a detatched , lofty glare...looking him over with her icy violet eyes...she could sense the pheromones and other alchemy based power...it was as strong as his dark, twisted aura. she knew he was more than a mere pretty boy...and she wasnt sure if she liked the idea of another hot shot male in her presence...she already loathed cameron.>>
<<but even as she thought of this, Cameron at least was going through some major changes...changes for the better. >>
well...we should wait for Alison...she'll know what we can expect as we go down this passage.
Bane glanced up at Morgan as she entered the library and absorbed the discovery he had made. Surprise? he would wonder, though Adrian knew better than anyone just how far-reaching the stereotype of a celebrity and a man such as himself was.
From the very start of his career, Adrian had been underestimated and treated in a condescending, albeit loving manner. CEO's of companies and media advisors of entertainment tried often to spare him the intricacies of their businesses, but he'd ask anyway. And they would incorrectly surmise that Adrian wanted the information "just in case". But behind his stupid grin, he absorbed all. Though perhaps he was physically altered, that inborn intelligence of his never waivered. It was with this cold tenacity that Adrian made the discovery -- quicker than everyone else, and with a chilling certainty. That same process of observation and execution extended to Morgan -- a woman he would not call unapproachable, but distant and high in an arrogance she mistakenly found only in Haleigh and Cameron.
She doesn't trust me, he'd think now, watching her eyes. Because at the heart of the matter, Adrian wasn't a man to trust. He was the indulgence that ruined lives. The personified drug that required methodolical caution: only to be taken in small doses. Adrian had no moral framework, and people lost themselves around him as a result of his infectitious liberal attitude. They changed. Did things they'd never do.
Even at this moment, as two solitary figures in an otherwise empty room, there was no telling what would happen.
"Easy? You think so?" he asked. "Maybe it looks that way," Adrian said, motioning towards the metal door, which spoke for itself as a paltry obstacle, "But things have a way of surprising you."
Was it really the door, or something else, that Adrian was talking about?
He laughed to himself, a rich string of notes full of warmth and humor. How would that same baritone voice sound in the confines of a bedroom? Was the way he moved his hands so gracefully, long fingers dancing across the material of his suit in opening the coat a bit, similar to his caresses on naked skin? Did that athletic confidence, which radiated in his every stride, provide prowess in physical seduction?
Questions that would enter anyone's mind, when surrounded with the phereomonic presence of Adrian, an aphrodisiac in every sense of the word.
Yet they waited there, the both of them, momentarily cut off from the rest of the world and standing in grim silence.
And questions were left ultimately unanswered.

<< scoffing as Adrian almost seemed to be baiting her, Morgan waved dismissively as she turned her head>>
please....who do you think you're dealing with? I'm the strongest woman on this "team"...not to mention a teleporter...there are a NUMBER of ways for me to get past that door...and I've taken care of Helena once before...as has my MOTHER...she's only a resourcefull as she is because she has MysTech backing her. But I....well WE [ the original 6] brought down the consortium of Mystech and destroyed the functioning of the Citadle.
so youll pardon me if im less than worried about the machinations of some demented withered old bat who think's she's a female James Bond.
<<Morgan tossed her and exhaled haughtily at Adrian as she turned away and moved toward the door to examine it further>>

::Guardian waits until everyone begins to make their way toward the library...and at the right moment...she points at Haleigh and freezes her right in her step.....blink in front of her::
::with Haleigh completely immobilized in a temporal stasis field...save her head...Guardian stands before her...looking grim and unforgiving once more::
now, its MY turn to retort.
::her cold, analytical voice tinged with hatred::
you know...when you were dead and gone, this time as it were actually started coming together. no where was that MORE apparent than the gala hosted by illustra, tempo and king enterprises. we didnt have to worry about your petty "power plays" and all the other nonsense you perpetrated which ultimately lead to Morgan losing control.
and as for you FORGIVING ME? your life matters LESS than a little bit to me. You never WERE an asset to this team..you ONLY stuck around to use US to advance your own pathetic agenda and you wound up DEAD. You havent changed anything but your body....and youre "forgivness" means NOTHING to me. I did everything i could...i warned all of you pathetic wretches...and none of you listend to me...even CAMERON and Alexis have admitted that. During the inferno...i nearly DIED saving the entire team from Morgan's wrath in Limbo....it was Ororo and my sister who pulled me back from the brink. I kept cameron ALIVE and he will tell you that himself.
Everyone knows that Ororo, Karen and Myself did EVERYTHING we could to save the six , and the city from Morgan....and Blaze...being the firey, passionate soul that she was...even though i SHOWED her her own death scene while we were on the west coast and TOLD her to stay back and let me take the risks...she chose to stand in the gap for Cameron as well....always trying to help build a bridge between Morgan and the others. WHAT DID YOU DO besides try to make it WORSE!? no one cares how you feel about Blaze. She was morgan's sister....and she was like family to myself and ororo....she KNEW who loved her and who truly had her back...and you CLAIMED to have loved her..yet you wanted to see her SISTER succumb to her dark soul...did you think how THAT would effect Blaze?? Morgan risked her LIFE more than once for Blaze....what did you do besides try to drive a wedge between them?
Blaze went to her death as honorably as anyone could...unlike you...who provoked yours into being. So again, your attempt to undermine me has failed...you're useless, worthless and living on borrowed time...and the ONLY person here who gives a damn about you IS my brother....and guess what?...HE is maturing....so how long do you think it is before he grows tired of your insipid ways and sees you for the truly amoral bitch that you are?
::Guardian gestures and releases her hold on Haleigh , letting her fall to the ground::
stay out of my way Haleigh...and keep AWAY from Morgan, Alexis and my brother. this team has suffered ENOUGH and we dont need you agrevating old wounds.
::Alison immediately turned and left Haleigh where she was. it was clear that Alison was unimpressed by Haleigh's earlier speech. and she said some harsh but true things....even the Powers that be had told Haleigh that she FOOLISHLY ignored Guardian's warnings about her death....and so for her to say she forgave alison...was nothing more than another ploy on Haleigh's part. it seemed that although she had a new body....she was still up to her same ways::
:: leaving the dining hall and making her way to the library, she found Morgan and Adrian...and the entrance leading to the catcombs as well. her high heeled boots clicking along the ground as she strode forward with confidence and cold efficiency::
good work Adrian...who knew you could actually be of some use?
::Alison said as she brushed past the tall, dark and handsome man::
and i see true to your snake like form...you've been trying to assess the best way to affect Spellbinder. Truly you will never learn.
::looking at the metal door::
Morgan, youll want to teleport us to the other side...and once we are there, cast a cloaking spell. that will definately buy us more time to locate the nerve center of the tunnels below.

:: Cameron watched Adrian and Morgan establish a rather comical rapport. If Adrian thought that he was going to be the man to dominate the mighty Spellbinder, than he had more than another thing coming. Prophet had learned that one himself. He turned his attention back to the door. How could they get to the other side? What if it was protected by some sort of magick? It was nothing that Mystech wouldn't have been able to do in the past, and nobody was quite sure the power scope of Helena. ::
"But what if -- "
:: Prophet was cut off short by the words of Guardian who lashed into Haleigh like one of Karen's Mystic Daggers. Cameron wanted to come to her side, but these were words that Haleigh was going to have to hear, understand and accept if she wanted any chance at continuing on with the Six and learning how to go down a path of pennance and redemption, a path that Cameron was beginning to walk down, and a path he didn't want to go off of. He stood silent until Guardian made her plans to get them to the other side. ::
"What if Morgan's magick alerts them to us right away? Mystech does have connections of the otherworldly kind. But I guess it's our only choice right now..."

<<Standing there with her arms folded..Morgan shot a look of annoyance Cameron's way...BUT it was a legitimate concern...she she fixed her glare..only so slightly>>
<< in an icy voice>>: well, i could force the door open. I'm strong enough to do it...or ALISON could force the door open with her tk.
my teleporting power ISNT magick...and if i cast the cloaking spell NOW then there's no way they would be able to visually detect us once we are on the other side. two of us has psi screens...so if they have any psychic hounds...that would LESSEN their chances of finding US...but you are a mutant...and THAT would make you the easiest one to spot.

Haleigh narrowed her eyes as Alison froze her... she listened... as there really wasn't much choice for her at this point. She let Alison's speech run her course... Her eyes showing her amounting anger. Alison unfroze her and walked off, and Haleigh stumbled forward to keep from falling... and then walked quickly after Ali, following her into the library, catching the woman by the arm and spinning her around. It was clear at this point that she didnt much CARE who saw them fighting or if the others heard. Hales had made an attempt to be discreet but now her patience was wearing thin. Alison was too stubborn and pushy to listen, but Haleigh's voice rose, ensuring she would be heard even though they were only two feet apart.
"DON'T you walk away from me damn it. Its ironic that a SEER would have trouble recalling the past... but let me refresh your memory. If it weren't for me, YOU and MORGAN wouldn't have found out about Blaze being ALIVE and with Mystech until it was TOO late... I PROVED my self that night, I EARNED my place on this sad excuse for a 'team'! You must have ALSO forgotten the fight with Kelly... when you lay on the floor in the smoke, coughing, close to asphyxiation... and I could have LET YOU SUFFOCATE, and left you to die... but I DIDNT. I reached out to you and helped you... and what is the thanks i get? You STILL treat me like something stuck to the bottom of your Jimmy Choos. And Now.... you're telling me you did everything you could to warn me?? THE HELL YOU DID! You took Blaze aside and SHOWED her what she was in for... but you DIDNT give me that luxury. Blaze KNEW what was to befall her, and she made the CHOICE to keep going. YOU LED ME TO SLAUGHTER, you selfish snob! YOU LISTEN TO ME, Alison Marble. I'm BACK. I'm PART of this team... I've suffered RIGHT ALONGSIDE YOU... and there are no threats and no insults you OR Morgan can throw at me to make me leave. I don't CARE if you still hate me... I dont have to prove anything to you and its not YOUR forgiveness I need. Do us both a favor and STOP hounding me for once..."
Haleigh looked around..."What's this?" she saw the whole in the floor and Morgan was talking about her or Ali trying to force it open. She walked over to look down at the door... and then looked back up at Morgan, who'd stopped talking. "Or... you could let me open it... since this is right up my alley." she offered, kneeling down to get a closer look at the keypad. She produced from her pocket a small grey card that looked like a credit card with a Mystech logo. She had picked it up off the foyer floor, left behind after the disappearance of the wildpack. She swiped it through the side of the keypad, and entered a sixteen digit number followed by the enter button. A few seconds later she pressed a four digit code and pressed enter. The small red light on the keypad changed to green and Haleigh turned the handle. The door unlocked and Haleigh pulled the heavy metal door upward, revealing their passage to the underground tunnels. Haleigh looked up at the group, gesturing like Vana White.... her mood slightly better now that she'd accomplished something.
"Voila."

:: Cameron looked at Morgan who seemed to have some concerns of her own as they began to figure out a way to get around the door and still remain undetectable. ::
"I would say go without magick and go with brute force.. I would bet that Helena and her goons are expecting us to use our powers and magick.. meaning that the less we use the better. I think you should you should force it open.."
:: It was a good idea. Mystech security and technology was almost tailor made to reinforce itself against magick and mutant ability and the group would most likely gain more ground using their human abilities rather than their superhuman abilities, and plus it might either turn Adrian on or scare him away from her. ::
"Cast the cloaking spell first of course.. Once we are inside we can figure out what to do from there..."
:: At that very moment, Haleigh used her Intelligence to figure out a way to get the door open, probably very much to the dismay to Morgan and Alison ::
"Or we could do that..."
