From either Monday or Tuesday, I will be gone to Chicago for 10 days. I don't know if we are going to have an internet connection there, and though I'll try to find some time to post, I won't have the kind of flexibility I've had during these past few weeks.

Additionally, since I am going to Chicago for a transition while my family and I move, those days after Chicago will be spent getting situated in the new house. I don't know how long it will take to establish an internet connection there. And of course, by that point, the 18th, I'm only 5 days away from school, so things will be a tad bit hectic.

Anyway, just giving ya'll a heads up as this week ends.

isnt is obvious? if hes still at the church...then that means he could be intercepted by haleigh...and THEY could arrive together. there's no reason they couldnt have ANOTHER interaction in the church parking lot now that morgan, alison and alexis are gone...and then out of convenience sake..he agrees to allow her to take him to the manor.

sam is already expressing misgivings about continuing this storyline..and personally i think after all the mess we came through at the tail end of "inferno" with abrupt departures and such...we need to work on supporting each other when we take turns doing storylines.

Farrah, I think I have been active in the storyline, I can only post when somebody RESPONDS to me.. as of today I was waiting for Lexi to post. I am home and can now respond to her.. everyone else JUST arrived downstairs today.

I AM doing the best I can at the moment.. I have now THREE relatives staying at my house, along with my MOTHER coming to visit next week.. I have been trying to get my financial aid done for school, finish placement testing, find my own apartment and work on trying to find a new car since the one I have is basically crap..I am not making excuses, I am just stating what has been going on right now in my life. I have to restore my computer twice because of frieken spyware crap that my "relatives" are getting on my computer and my messengers have been fucked up because of that, so I have been trying to do all of that AND keep up on my posting.. I am sorry if anyone thinks I have slipped up, I just have a LOT on my plate right now and I am trying to manage things accordingly.

I am not meaning to offend ANYBODY with this post, I am just slightly aggitated and am trying to control my stress level which has been EXTREMELY high lately. I know Samantha put alot of work into this storyline and I plan on continuing it on as well. Again I am sorry if I sound aggressive I am just a TAD stressed at the moment, and it really bothers me when I think I am managing things well, and then I get told to step it up.. I am just tired and STRESSED is all.. I will get back on track.. I promise..

I know I've been less than active lately -- we're still in the process of moving and getting situated, and frankly, I've barely had time to breathe these days, much less stop by an internet cafe and get a damn connection around here.

I had thought we'd be done by Wednesday, but now I'm hearing Friday, so I guess the original guestimate of 10 days is still going to hold.

As for the whole inactivity thing.. there will be periods when we'll have to deal with real life stuff, but we can't let it get in the way of the RPG. The storyline you have, Sam, is great. Let's keep going. :D

well i gave it up based solely on "volume" of wildpack soldiers. but that doesnt mean for one moment that helena will be capable of containing them for long once they awaken...especially since alison will have remembered EVERYTHING

lol, it's cool. it added spice. and it's great because everyone else is following your lead and falling to the hands of the wildpack. i'm not trying to make helena's men seem like they can overcome the six, becauase they obviously can't. but the fact that you played it as if the sheer quantity of men was able to bring everyone down is cool. :) it's different, and like i said, adds something more to this current situation. :)

Rich, get your character BACK IN ACTION. Had you allowed him to be HEALED he wouldve been USEFULL to the conclusion of the storyline. as it stands right now...its "stop and go" because YOUR CHARACTER , who could fill in at some very well timed moments is "unconscious".

Now, if this has ANYTHING to do with the problem in the Hurricane Katrina thread, and your unwillingness to leave well enough alone, then you need to address that with the people whom you have an issue with in PM and stop holding up the game. IF thats not the case, then understand that Sam is feeling like certain people in this game are only doing "bare minimum" in her storyline and its making her feel bad.

Well it's not that I didn't want to say anything about the current situation, it was just that my storyline is basically over (just waiting on a few more people to post before I end it), and I want to move on already. But it is true that I felt like my storyline was half-assed or even disliked (your own opinion, I don't care). But I put forth an effort on everyone elses storylines, keeping up with them, adding situations here and there to add some spice, and I expected the same from everyone else. And when it seemed was that people basically wanted to get it over with.

But as I said, my storyline is on the brink of being over, so there's nothing I can do about it now. I really do hope ya'll enjoyed atleast some aspects of it. I was trying to get into the more 'drama' portion of the game instead of the heroic/battling part; even though there had to be SOME battling.

But anyway, the storyline should be over tonight sometime. (I'm currently at work on one of the computers. hehe).

I liked the character of Helena and the secret she held. the first few threads were some of th best playing threads we've had yet. the characters were all showing different sides to themselves.

like i said..some of the earlier playing threads in this storyline were among our best yet. characters showed different sides to themselves...things were done like never before...and i think thats what made this storyline so good. Inferno (although it was screwed up at the end thanks to OOC drama) was a serious turning point and i think its aftermath excellent segued into the Alexis/Helena storyline. i especially liked the bonus of the battle between Helena and Karen...bitter rivals and old enemies both on and off the battle field.

It's not in Adrian's character to accept help from others. As it stands right now, I don't feel the current Adrian would ever realistically mold with the rest of the team. The comments from ALL team mates about what he's even doing with them has knocked me back into reality and so I'm addressing that. The current Adrian won't stop until he's gotten himself killed, so.. what's simply a "snake" bite will turn out to be much more significant, and the end result will be better with everyone.

As for the Hurricane Katrina thread, I don't let OOC problems get in the way of my roleplaying. And if anyone thinks I'm doing the bare minimum, feel free to hit me up with a PM so we can remedy the situation.

Sam: I love your storyline. Helena is an excellent villain and you made Alexis much more multi-dimensional. Like others, I feel the ending is a bit abrupt, but that overall I saw a lot of good stuff. :)

Well i'm glad to hear that everyone else has enjoyed this storyline as much as I have. I do agree that it is a bit shorter then the other storylines that we've had in the past, but in the end it's about quality I suppose.

Yeah, I agree. This storyline somewhat showcases how pretty much Alexis is what I believe to be the heart of the group. Most of our storylines before have been like life and death and the end of the world and the Six as we know it but this one I found interesting that everyone wanted to just be there for Alexis and help her grieve, and nothing more. Helena was SUCH a bitch to everyone and the group really stood up for Alexis and showed her how much they cared each in their own way. The Six is fragile but all wanted the same goal in the end: to save Alexis and get rid of Helena. It was simple but faceted, and it showed how well Alexis has meshed with the other characters of the Six ;) Good Show, Sam. Good Show ;)

Honestly, it doesn't matter if everyone posts. I know Bane could care less, Morgan and Alison will be more logical about the situation, Cameron would probably react the most, and Haleigh would just be "surprised" but stay quiet or have a sarcastic remark or two. LOL (Pretty sad how we know these characters so much we can pinpoint what they'll most likely do. lol)

Ok I have an update :)

As most of you know I have been trying to get my own apartment for awhile.. and well, it still hasn't happened yet, I have been put on a waiting list, so until then I will have to move in with my cousin and uncle for a few months before there is an availability.. So I am going to start moving my things over there tomorrow..

I dont think Internet should be a problem because they just moved like literally down the block so MY DSL should still work but if it doesn't I can work with dialup for a little bit.. Either way, Farrah I will call you and keep you updated on that :)

I don't think the problem is necessarily that he doesn't interact much with everyone. It's moreso that on his first "contacts" with each member, they were all apparently clever enough to see through his facade, so now he's stuck between a rock and a hard place. Which is why I've basically reshaped him to fit the group more.. however, if Alison and Morgan don't want him on this next mission, there's little he can currently do without being uncharacteristic.

i believe it was..it never happened before and i had some sensitive information in my email folders so im pretty sure thats how they gained access to attack the board. and yes, i got that account disabled by Yahoo..although they took FOREVER to actually RESPOND to my requests for help. they usually dont help people with "free accounts"..only people who use SBC Yahoo. but im not going to pay for something thats been free since it was first created over 10 years ago..especially when i use a totally different ISP.

but at least they got the account shut down and so it cant be used and whatever was contained in there was expunged.

thats a good idea...having someone informed her about an EXTREME disturbance on the east coast in a secluded lake front area...and that several "distinct" energy patterns were registered. maybe mention something about Alycia Barnett and Sharon Kelly going underground shortly before this "disturbance" was noticed and sitings of a "massive shape" seen in the darkened forest at night.

Oh yes, I'm safe. :) No doubt yall have heard of the massive TRAFFIC GRIDLOCK... its being called the WORST in US history, over 100 miles of bumper to bumper traffic... people running out of GAS sitting idle... and houston was OUT OF GAS EVERYWHERE. Well... we were going to go north as well... but when we started hearing about it... and seeing in on TV.... we decided to wait to leave until it cleared up a little [it never did]. Friday morning we decided to change plans... and go SOUTH instead. Since we knwe it would hit Galveston or further north, we went south to Corpus Christi [its at the southern tip of Texas]. There was no traffic going that way... and the beach city was a GHOST TOWN b/c they evacuated earlier when Rita was expected to hit in that area... so we had no problems getting a hotel room and stayed there a night until we thought it safe to return. Fortunately... the storm took a twist to the east.... and our area experienced nothing more damaging than 30-40 mph winds and torrential rain. We unboarded our windows and cleaned up the tree/leaves and other foliage debri this evening... luckily there was no damage to our home. As it so happens.... it wasnt so bad that we needed to leave... being that Rita didnt hit in our area.... but I see what the hurricane did to the areas it DID hit... and can only count my lucky stars.... if it HAD hit in our area, evacuation wouldve been necessary. Better safe than sorry, right? I just feel sorry for those places that were hit.

yes, ive seen the images...and i was like "what if lexi is in there??" i just cant IMAGINE the anxiety i would feel if i had been in that...i already have agoraphobic tendencies as it is...:bored: Rita's path was VERY eratic...they kept saying early on that "she" was changing directions. i wonder if that had anything to do with the fact that as "she" crossed the gulf stream she got caught up in the powerful wind belts therein?

yeah, same here. :eek3: I told my daddy I'd rather STAY at home than evacuate with the current traffic conditions... that i felt SAFER at home, even in the midst of the hurricane. we ALL remember what happened after Katrina...the rapes and the violence... It wouldve been me, my mom, and my three sisters out there in that mess :eek3: [as my daddy was going to stay behind for his patients].... and NONE of us wanted to take that chance. Luckily... b/c of the traffic and the hurricane.... my daddys company shut down... he called all his patients to find out if they were evacuating or preparing for the storm.... and then had the weekend off.... so we were ALL able to go down to CC. :nod:

I'm taking a meteorology class this semester for my aviation degree..... and as i understand it... there was a high pressure system above Southeastern US that was holding Rita down. Weather specialists expected the system to move slightly east and for Rita to make a turn but still hit Galveston/houston. It appears the system made a much bigger move east than they thought.... and in turn, Rita made a much sharper northern turn and hit the Texas/Louisiana coast.

Okay guys just here with a frieken update.. The last two weeks of my life have probably been the most stressful than I could have ever imagined.. Sam and Farrah know where I am coming from when I mention living with my Uncle and Cousin.

So I move into my Uncle's ghetto fuckin house and now I realize that he hasn't even activated the phone line! He wanted us all to use our cell phones and so now I am stuck with out Internet and am using my College Library Computer at the moment, which is what I guess I am going to have to do from now on or at least for a little while... until I can look into Cable Modem and that junk..

I have been wanting to call Farrah for awhile but I have been working closing shifts at Starbucks for literally three weeks in a row! So when I get home, it is around 2 or 3 in the morning for her, plus I have been battling with my cell phone company who is trying to overcharge me!

So.. I just read about the board being hacked.. I trust everything is okay? I feel bad that I wasn't there to help, but whatever you need me to do just let me know, Farrah.. My number is 775-220-9030 if you need to reach me.

I just wanted to warn everyone, Tropical Storm Tammy just formed lastnight off the coast of Jacksonville and is heading straight for us. It's not supposed to turn into a Hurricane because it's so close to shore, but they aren't ruling out the possibilities. So we're going to get slammed tonight. I'm not sure if this is going to effect the electricty , but if so, i'll probably not be around this evening (maybe even tomorrow depending on the extent of the damages.)

AHHH!!! I am here! I swear to god I am so frieken sick of my family! Our phone bill is in my cousin's name and I needed her to transfer it over to the new house so I wouldn't have to pay a $200 early termination fee for my DSL and because I wanted my god damn internet! well people, we're getting ready to roll over into the next story line. itll be a mix of things instead of just one major plot. for starters, we will see the arrival of Frost, who is being played by heather. this character will have a connection that strikes DEEP in the emotional core of the six. there will be a few other things happening as well.

BANE is out. we havent heard from him in weeks, and no attempts at contact have been returned. Morningstar is staying on with us, and will remain as long as Vilandra has the time to play her! :) she's done a fantastic job.

Its okay Farrah, I understand your job is demanding. That's why I went ahead and posted my bio and Sam did a wonderful job on my avatar and banner and she was even sweet enough to change my name. ;) :D

I'd like to comment on the past threads and current. I was moved to tears with how much EMOTION all of you placed throughout the past months, especially with the death of Foxfire. I could see everything so perfectly and what I liked was how each of the characters dealt differently, which made it more realistic. Farrah had me with her portrayal of Morgan with Blaze's death and the guilt plus Haleigh, Alexis, Cam, etc.

I liked how Lexi put a twist on Hal with a new appearance. I thought that was clever and unexpected in dealing with her death from Spellbinder. I also enjoyed how the reader got to see how Cameron felt deep down without the bravado and his attempts to reconcile with Alison. And Alexis, I thought Sam's portrayal here was outstanding and even the new power. It showed how each of the characters had grown together.

And as always I love Ororo and the new image she received for an Avatar. She's been a huge impact on the Six, guiding them and warning them of the murky waters ahead. Farrah's portrayal of her is right on, its almost like reading the comic itself or seeing the cartoon.

Bane pushed the limits with his provocative self. A bit of a mystery, at times I was left in confusion with who he was or what his intent really was. I was surprised at how Rich added the sex scenes lol. It added some spice while the others created the raw emotion. A nice combination I thought.

I was surprised Erika King returned to Limbo, but it did make sense. I was impressed how Brandon played her. Her code of honor and her true self were key characteristics in her. I liked how she had the bad side at the end, another nice twist.

All in all, I liked what I read. I also enjoyed the battle with Morgan and Haleigh, nicely done. I look forward to the next section. ;)

well, we're starting the NEW storyline now.

itll be a mixture of small plots rather than just one BIG plot...something thatll segue into the next BIG storyline (which i havent yet selected but have a couple solid ideas)

everyone has been doing well so far. we were all a bit slow in the last storyline because of our lives offline but we made it through and the story finished on a strong note.

im interviewing a few candidates for reoccurring villain roles to give some new faces to the threat of MysTech . roles that none of us will have to play ...allowing us to stay "in character" and not have to work to maintain several roles at once.

Vilandra is staying on as MorningStar, Bane is out.

now Brandon..you know better than to come into a thread with a half assed post like that. firstly the characters ARENT in Illustra..they are at XS...and you need to READ through the thread so you can better insert Cameron in the storyline. you might even want to go into "Arcane Archives" and read the last thread of the previous storyline called "uncertain silence" so you can see how things wrapped up in the last storyline.

please fix that post immediately.

Sorry I wasn't posting much at all guys, I really didn't know where to throw Alexis in at because everyone had their own thing going on. So I just decided to bug Alison and Haleigh. :P LOL.

And i'm glad you like your avatars Farrah! :) I've been making a lot of avatars lately for the GH sites i'm on, and making them all with graphics instead of just the picture. So I wanted to try that here with mine also. :) So i'm happy you like it with yours!

I made me a new banner with some new brushes I got yesterday. :) Woo. And a couple new fonts. Hell yeah.

and sam, yes indeed i love Morgan and Alison's AV's. although im THINKING about switching Alison's "AI" to Shannen Doherty...the more i think about it...the more it seems to fit. She is definately a "prue halliwell" type. that and the fact there just arent enough pics of lynda carter that fit the look of Alison on the net.

and actually, having Alexis come to Alison's door at the time she did is good...she can join the two women just as Alison clue's Haleigh in on whats looming over the Six's horizon.
