:: The night was long. What seemed like days were only mere hours as Alexis slept restlessly in the hotel room Cameron had provided for her. After about a half our of actual sleep...her eyes slowly opened. Instantly there were visible tears....Staring straight ahead, Alexis' face showed no emotion; but as a single tear dropped down her nose and onto the white cotton pillow case her head was resting again, you could see that the blonde's heart was broken. ::
:: Sitting up, Alexis was still fully dressed in her royal blue satin gown. Her sleek french twist up do had fallen out a bit; pieces of blonde locks framing her face. Bringing her hand up to her forehead, her head was pounding from the shock of everything that had happen that night. Scooting off her bed, she stood, making her way to the mini bar that was across the room. Bending down she opened it seeing it was dry. Closing her eyes, Cameron must of cleaned it out. Shaking her head, she turned her back to the mini bar leaning against it. Placing her hand up to her face, she closed her eyes. Why couldn't this of been a horrible dream... ::

:: Cameron had fallen asleep next to Alexis in his full clothes on top of the covers. He had been waiting for her to awake but got so tired himself that eventually he had passed out as well. He hoped she wasn't mad at him for knocking her out but she needed to be taken out of the situation for a little bit. Though his sleep seemed to be as restless as Alexis' had been because he was now tossing in turning and making groaning noises as he uncomfortably slept. Words began to echo inside his head ::
"In all time lines... I see ruin..."
"It should have been YOU dead, not Blaze..."
"You will sever all your ties with Illustra and the Six and leave your penthouse immediately..."
:: The words hit him like daggers. He pictured himself in the dark as the words surrounded him and cut into him like knives as his blood was spilt every which way imaginable. Only he wasn't able to feel any of this. In fact for reason, Cameron wasn't feeling remorse. He was just feeling defensive. ::
"Why am I doing this? Why can't I deal with this! I need to deal with this! It's going to kill me!"
:: Prophet tossed more and more. Thankfully Alexis wasn't on the bed anymore or she would have been kicked and nudged several times herself ::

<< far across town...Morgan rests in one of the guest bedrooms of her mother's loft...sleeping soundly as the moonlight kisses her nude form in the large king sized bed...with only the sound of a grandfather clock ticking filling the silent cool air around the spacious residence>>
<< it had been a wonderful evening for most of the night. celeb friends, powerful allies and associates in the corporate and legal world...even a moment in which she shared the same space with cameron and alexis on stage and she didnt reach over and break Cameron's neck! a moment where Ororo would have been proud no doubt. but inspite of the glamour, the success and the fun for all..it was ruined by Helena Quatermaine's bombshell on Alexis that her brother was dead...and a verbal tyrade that stripped poor Alexis to her core....it was like watching "Mommie Dearest" part 2. But more importantly for Morgan...it was discovered by Alison that Helena had made an attempt on Karen's life. THAT would not go unealt with...as prooven when Morgan punched Helena OUT of the parthenon with such force>>
<< now...Morgan was at her mothers..keeping watch. Karen was deft at handling her magicks..and had made short work of Helena's men and handled Helena herself...BUT she had taken some injury too. Morgan would NOT lose another member of her family....someone ELSE would die before that happened...she would see it to it. when morning arrived..she would ask her mother about the beef between Helena and Karen....to better understand the history...and decide what best to do. it would appear that the surviving members of The Six would be drawn closer together sooner than they had expected>>
<< morgan continued to slumber. while OTHER'S were not so lucky...>>

::Guardian was back at Illustra. she had reluctantly TAKEN Adrian's business card....and was now sitting in her beautiful, natural/rustic decorated penthouse...enjoying the sounds of a thunder storm as she looked at Adrian's card::
insufferable wretch.
::Alison Marble had surprised more than a few people at the gala with her eye popping, yet stylish dress and hair style [which she decided to keep for a few days]. She had even DEFENDED Cameron from Adrian as she checked him and warned him to stay away from King enterprises AND Illustra inc if he wanted to keep his life. She knew him for the manipulative predator he was....and yet, she ALSO knew...that for reasons beyond her immediate understanding...he would figure more prominantly in the lives of the surviving members of the six::
:: how would he be able to survive Morgan's wrath? and should Alison WARN Morgan about him? what about the others...they were less able to handle him than Morgan and herself would be able to.....it was almost a catch 22...this self absorbed prick would fill a much needed role and he had considerable power too. Alison struggled with the idea of NOT interfering with what was supposed to happen and using her foresight to find an ALTERNATE course of action to take to avert this....one of the many delimmas of a Seer..knowing what was coming and choosing whether or not to act to cause any number of probable time threads to become the most likely to manifest.....::
::SIGH::
::having looked in on tinkerbell and checked the security of the building. Alison was content to reflect and think on tonights events...both good and bad...on the second highest floor of the technological gem that is Illustra. There was the spectre of Helena Quatermaine as well. Alison had definately given her what for...even if the woman was her elder, Alison knew more than she ever could imagine and that ALWAYS gave her the advantage over her foes. Helena was possesed of confidence and depraved humour...but it didnt save her from being humbled by Morgan when it counted the most.::
Adrian Lockhart woke up abruptly. Not because of nightmares. Not because of the sunshine that now flooded his hotel suite. No. Adrian had felt "something" wet, and now whipped his head up to look at the bobbing figure underneath his covers. He recognized the exposed clothing and "technique" , and then proceeded to sharply kick off his offending secretary, Brad, who had been inspired to "rouse" Adrian with a morning blowjob.
The blonde fell on the floor, holding his head. "Fuck boss, what was that for!"
Adrian ignored him, instead taking the time to stretch his body out. As Brad shamelessly gaped, he renewed circulation throughout his muscles. The satin, white sheets were wrapped around Adrian's legs and lower torso in a serpentine fashion; he looked like porn.
"I'm not up for anything this morning, Brad," Adrian said, half-apologetic and half-annoyed. Brad stared. If it was anything he had learned from this job, it was that Adrian was in a perpetual state of arousment. He must have shot someone or something.
Adrian turned over on his stomach, burying his face in the soft pillow, which smelled slightly of cologne. He didn't want to think about it. No. He didn't want to think about the man who had exposed him. To Alexis. He especially didn't want to think about Alexis, who had her heart broken by that cold bitch. He didn't want to think about Alison, who had stared right through him, with eyes that suggested that he was an open book to her.
Those eyes, those beautiful icy blue eyes. They haunted him.
Adrian groaned and then sighed, acutely aware of Brad's talented hands massaging his back. He sat up, letting Brad collide with the floor once again. "Brad, really," he said, unwrapping himself from the sheets and standing, naked.
Adrian cocked his head, observing his floored secretary for a moment. Soft blond hair, high cheekbones, pouty lips, and a lean, muscular body. He ran a hand through his hair, sighing. Though Brad was the epitome of sex, he had chosen the over-enthusiastic boy for more. While easily distracted and impish, Brad had a talent for mathematics, and his boyish charm had softened up some of Adrian's more apathetic business ventures. Plus, those talented fingers could type faster than anyone Adrian knew; although, they definitely served more than one purpose.
Shaking his head, Adrian walked to the closet, opening it up and slipping on a silk bathrobe that was offered as a guest courtesy. Turning to Brad, he said simply, "Did you get them?"
The secretary nodded, wiping his lips a bit and standing with a playful grin. He was never put off by anything, much less Adrian's newly-found state of grouchiness. Picking up the stack of magazines, Brad handed them to Adrian.
"I'll need some alone time, Brad," Adrian said as he took the magazines. "I know, I know, I'm acting weird. But just do what I say," he said, upon seeing Brad's outraged look. The secretary had come to expect tumbles in bed before 10 AM every day, but it appeared that Adrian simply wasn't in the mood today, and his insatiable libido would be denied. With a downcast sigh, Brad nodded and without another word, walked out of the hotel room.
Adrian, silk robe billowing around him, opened the door and walked out onto the balcony, observing the view whistefully for a few minutes. He then shook his head and sat down on a chair, putting the magazines on the table. And then he thought.
Alexis had been cold, witty and controlled when he had met her. Yet.. last night. He remembered the way she had stumbled, broken-spirited, to the bar, and sought solace in alcohol. It troubled him. It brought back memories of his parents' death, undeniably due to him. No, he thought firmly, shaking himself out of reflection. Trying to buy time before he'd have to confront the realities of last night, Adrian now glanced at the magazine covers.
They had not reached print. He had specifically requested that these magazines find a new subject, although numerous magazine editors were saddened. From the table, sensationalist headlines glared out at him: ALEXIS QUARTERMAINE DITCHES HEARTTHROB ADRIAN LOCKHART, ELIGIBLE BACHLORESS SHOWS HER DARK SIDE, QUEEN B REVEALS TRUE COLORS.
Adrian laughed. Almost. Because he then pictured Alexis' stricken look. These articles would nullify last night's success by a substantial amount.
Adrian breathed in deeply, closing his eyes, and thanked God he had some sense to stop this vicious outlash at Tempo Magazine's CEO. He wasn't stupid. He knew that other magazines had been thrilled at the opportunity to rip apart the reputation of their leading competitor. And it shamed him to think his scheming would have gone this far.
Wait, shame?
Fuck, what was wrong with him? Adrian bit on his knuckle, absolutely frustrated.

:: Cameron awoke from his dream as he sat right up breathing extremely heavily as he looked around, not seeing Alexis at first as he looked up in the air as a Leaf began to kamikaze to his bed as it landed in his lap. Had this been a dream? What had been going on. It was so dark in the suite that he walked right past Alexis and out into the halls. He went to the nearest elevator and quickly enetered as he pushed the button on the very top which would lead to his own Executive Penthouse on the top floor. The Elevator dinged as it opened to the most luxurious and big penthouse (http://www.forbes.com/images/2002/03/07/beverly2_246x350.jpg) IN the Parthenon and as the elevator doors closed behind him, he leaned against them and slowly slid down and fell to the ground. He had been sleeping but for whatever reason he had felt so exhausted at this moment. But his dream had still gotten to him. In all honesty, it was probably single-handedly the most eye opening thing that had ever happen to him and the fact that this medication was delivered by Morgan and Ororo made it that more absurd. ::
"Am I really going to do this? Can I function without it? How can I be an asset to the Six? Should I talk to Morgan? No, she won't believe it.. Nobody will. I have to do it. I have to change this.. I have to do.. nobody can know about it yet.. It has to be just me.. I have to do this for the sake of everyone..."
:: Standing up and walking down the long main corridor as he made a right at the two large blue potted plants and made a left at the first door, entering the Guest Bathroom. He was going to do it. Cameron was going to do it now. As the door closed behind him, he wasn't sure if he was prepared to deal with this new life, but he knew it had to be done.. for the sake of himself, Morgan and the rest of the Six. It was time. With a small slam, the Doors closed behind him, but the light never came on. ::

<< thunder rumbled in the skies...as a summer time storm took its course...and Morgan lay sleeping in her Mother's loft. a particularly LARGE clap of thunder boomed through the skies...even at the level of which this loft was..and under the kiss of the moonlight, Morgan's eyes slowly opened....the violet eyes were glowing...but soon as she blinked a few times...they returned to their natural state>>
<< she slowly sat up...letting the satin sheet fall and expose her ample, perky bosom...and flat stomach as she sat in the quite cool air...rubbing her head...she felt as if she had just experienced a wild, wicked indulgence in her dream....but something told her that the feeling of HOPE that she felt was no accident....she felt Ororo's lingering presence..as a leaf slowly fell to her bed...after having been sailing through the breeze in her room....a last lingering reminder that her mentor was never too far away...either awake or asleep.>>
<< she wrapped her arms around herself....there was much to deal with in the coming day...talking with her mother, addressing the situation of helena and even HELPING Alexis...and one other matter...of a more personal nature>>

:: Watching Cameron walk past her, Alexis stayed quiet. It looked like he was having a rough night as well, but honestly, she didn't care. She didn't care about anything at this point. As the door closed to her room, she allowed a sigh of relief to be heard....Walking over towards the double french doors that went out onto the patio, the meta human opened them, stepping out onto the terrace. Guests of wind danced around her body giving her goose pumps...Looking out among the lively city, her expression was still cold and sad. Placing her hands on the railings, she leaned forward looking down at the entrance of The Parthenon; a long way down. Closing her eyes, lightning could be seen flashing in sky... ::
"Why.."
:: She softly asked. Why him? Why now? Why did God hate her so much that he had to keep punishing her over and over and over again. Shaking her head, she just wanted to get home. Get away from this place....Looking forward, she could see Illustra's building in the distance--it was after all the tallest building in New York City. Taking a step back, she closed her eyes as a bolt of lightning from the storm approaching hit Alexis, and disappearing within seconds. She was gone....only a remanence of a buzzing could be heard. ::
---
:: A crash of lightning could be heard slamming into the roof of the Illustra building, and Alexis was once again visible. Seeing as how there was a storm with enough electricity in the air, she was able to travel through the currents and back to Illustra. It was a short distance after all. Looking around the roof of the building, she finally found the exit but didn't go to it. Instead she decided to walk toward the edge of the massive building. Hugging her torso with her arms, she was freezing....but then again, she felt numb the way it was. Pressing her lips together, she just stood, looking out into the city, thinking to herself. ::

Haleigh took a deep breath and knocked on Karen Victoria's door. She tossed her blonde hair back and peeked into the small box she was holding to peer at the contents. She gave a soft smile and looked back up at the threshold. She wore (http://us.movies1.yimg.com/movies.yahoo.com/images/hv/photo/movie_pix/dreamworks_skg/the_island/scarlett_johansson/theisland1.jpg)a simple outfit, jeans, a black buttonup and a sporty leather jacket, making casual look better than ever. Haleigh's new 20 year old face gave her a fresh, sweet girly look about her, and didnt at all hint that for the last six years, blood, bodies and chaos ahd been abundant in her wake. She knew her young, naiive look would get her in the door at least, it would be up to her after that.
Haleigh had attended the Gala last night in a sweeping black Dior gown that beautifully showcased her young, fit form, and had stayed until Morgan, Cameron, and Alexis had taken the stage to speak. Cameron looked.... to put it simply, perfect. Haleigh was near tears, and mesmerized, as she watched him. He seemed to have a soft sadness, hidden beneath the professional facade, and it made Haleigh realized that she'd do anything to take him in her arms. It was something Haleigh'd been denying to herself for sometime now... but Cameron was the first man in sx years that she'd ctually CLICKED with, that truly understood her. She would've been content going right up to him and making a spectacle, but someone gently touched her elbow. It was a man who recognized her as a professional dancer form some competition company in New York. He had recognized Haleigh's BODY.... and Haleigh realized she couldn't stay any longer, so she denied knowing anyone named Sarah and slipped away quickly. Haleigh went back to Cassandra's and gathered herself, planning her return to the lives of the remaining members of the Six. Morgan would have to be the first person she saw.... Haleigh had a few things to say to her murderer.
And so, here she was, on Karen's doorstep. Morgan had been easy enough to find, once Haleigh discovered she'd gone to her mothers. Haleigh had long known where Karen lived... for before the citadle disaster, Haleigh had assigned a surviellance and guard unit for Karen's protection. Haleigh was happy to have her new look, for Karen and Haleigh had only ever TOLERATED each other out of necessity, Karen thought Haleigh a conniving snake and Haleigh thought Karen a pretentious snob. At least Karen wouldnt recognize her.... she'd get a break from the self-righteous glares.
Adrian stared at the magazines for a few more seconds, and then stood up. The bolt of lightning that had flashed briefly above him accurately represented Adrian's mood. Dangerously close to breaking down, he made up his mind and swiftly walked back inside to the hotel room wherein he opened the door and gazed at Brad, who had a semi-hopeful look in his eyes and who had been waiting by the door like a faithful dog.
Adrian pulled the boy in without so much as a word, and shut Brad up with an abrupt kiss. The blond-haired secretary gasped at the intensity. Wow, what a change from a few minutes ago, Brad thought wildly as Adrian tore his white t-shirt, ripping the cotton effortlessly. N..no..definitely not bad. Definitely.
As flesh made contact with flesh, Adrian growled and turned, suddenly tossing Brad up into the air and pinning him to the mattress as he landed on the bed. Kissing ensued. Brad gasped as Adrian sucked on his neck. He clawed at the expensive satin sheets, brilliant blue eyes closed, as he heard the sound of his jeans unbuckle with the aid of his boss' talented long fingers.
But as a young man in throws of passion, Brad broke out of his comatose, pleasure-induced state and dragged his fingers down Adrian's marvelously muscled back, digging nails into the tanned skin that now glistened with sweat. Brad had noted his unusually aggressive mood and matched it now, thrusting his hips upward. Adrian growled again, removing the hand that bound Brad's right wrist to push down on his torso. He wouldn't have any of it.
"Boss...please.." Brad moaned pathetically, trying to twist himself for more body contact. Adrian silenced him, crushing their mouths together, and gave himself to the pleasure. Forget them, forget them all, he thought, as Brad held onto one bicep trustingly and gazed up into Adrian's furious brown eyes. Forget, forget, they don't matter...nothing matters..nothing.
And for a while, for an indefinite blissful amount of time, Adrian lost himself in Brad's beautiful blue eyes. Those blue eyes, that looked so much like hers.

<< Morgan heard the knock and immediately bolted up. thunder clapped and rolled in the night air...as Morgan grabbed her satin violet mini robe and makes her way out into the hall and out onto the second floor which over looks the first floor. all was quiet...and calm....through the spacious loft. only the grand father clock ticking and the storm out side....and shadows lengthened from the massive pillars and other furnishings under the moon light.>>
who could that be...at this ungodly hour! Alison would have simply blinked into my room...and cameron and alexis do not know where this place is. could it be Helena? trying to take the subtle approach? if it is her, ill knock her fucking BLOCK off!
<< moving down the spiral stair case to the first floor...she made her way through the sun room and past the dinning room and foyer...finally to the large steel door with the long handle.....Morgan stood in front of the door...and raised a hand....as a halo of dark magick forms around it.>>
<< she presses the button of the intercom>>
Who's there?
<< her icy voice sounded very grim over the system.. as she awaited an answer>>

Haleigh was slightly startled by the angry voice on the intercom. She occasionally forgot that other people actually SLEEP every now and then.... Haleigh hadn't in six years. Whats more... the voice was Morgans.... and Haleigh had expected to go through the 'good' doctor first... but at least this cut the repetition down. She tucked her har behind her ear and decided how to word things.
"Please, Miss Victoria... I'm terribly sorry for disturbing you at such and hour, and at your mother's home, no less. But I must speak with you at once. It is of utmost importance.... the matter.... should NOT be discussed over the intercom. I would tell you who I am.... but I'm afraid you'd not believe me. I am... an old ally. Please, we must speak."
Haleigh's voice sounded sincere, and urgent, yet apologetically polite wth a tint of pleading. She really would like to get this over with... but like she'd said.... their conversation could NOT be had through a steel door.

<< a forboding sound of metal unlocking is heard...as the door opens..immediately a cold breeze wafts OUT from the apartment...and there are no lights on...merely the moon shining through the skylight..and various windows....there was no one immediately at view when the door open...>>
<< Morgan had immediately cast a cloaking spell to hide herself while she let this "former ally" in. could it be a member of Valiant? or Helena in a glamor? ...she couldnt be sure....but she made room for the "visitor" to entire the dark, quiet, spacious loft>>

Haleigh eyed the door as it opened, and catiously walked in, her hands on either side of the small box she was carrying. It was dark inside, but she went forward without hesitation, and though she didnt SEE Morgan, she imagined the woman must be lurking around somewhere. She walked into the sitting area, her puma tennis shoes silent as she crossed the floor and sat down, her box in her lap. Sitting pretty where she was, moonlight bathed her features and Morgan got a good look at her. Of course, she wouldn't be recognized, but she looked much too young to be an 'old ally' and much too innocent and happy-go-lucky to be dangerous. She spoke softly to avoid waking anyone else.
"Morgan.... again.... I'm sorry if I woke you... but this is important... BOTH of our destinies depend upon it. I don't mean to harm you... if I did, I would have just blown up your mother's house."

Haleigh narrowed her eyes. A little hostile, aren't we? she drummed her fingers once on the box in her lap and decided to throw caution to the wind. Her voice suddenly became slightly bitter.
"What, you don't recognize me? Oh, THATS right... I look a far cry from the red haired, blue eyed, fair-skinned vixen you recently MURDERED. Its me, Rabbit, HALEIGH DAVIDOFF, the thorn in your side, the scourge of the earth. Ah-ah... before you throw a fit... like I said, I'm not here to hurt you. Not remotely, in fact, I'm not even angry with you for killing me. Okay... maybe just a little. I was rather ATTACHED to my previous body. However.... its not about our shit anymore. Something beyond us is at work. I DO have a few things to say to you, and then I'll be on my way. Here... a white flag, so to speak."
She lifted the lid off her box and scooped up what was inside with both hands. She produced forth the cutest siamese kitten ever. It looked like a baby Tinkerbell, and it was yawning and curling up in her palms, but starting to awake and peer around, curious about its surroundings.
"I thought maybe your feline might like a companion.... and I wanted to apologize for my behaviour towards you... I know it wasnt most condusive to our getting along peacefully."
Haleigh looked like she was in pain saying the words... but she was sincere... and though it took a lot to swallow her pride and spit it out, it needed to be done.... Haleigh needed to be able to be around Spellbinder without being in mortal peril.

:: Walking into her penthouse, the rooms were dark and quiet. Deciding to leave the lights off, she made her way through the livingroom which was only faintly lit by the moonlight from outside. Walking into her office, she made her way up to her desk and turned on the desk lamp. Immediately picking up the receiver to her phone, she placed it up to her ear and began to dial a number. Pressing her lips together, her eyes traveled to the ground.. ::
"I need to book a flight to Port Charles for tomorrow."
:: Pauses ::
"Yes, one ticket.....thank you."
:: Hanging the phone up, Alexis took a deep breath in before letting out a heavy sigh. Picking up a small clock that was on her desk, she looked down at the time seeing it around 2:45 in the morning. Putting the clock back down on the desk, the night seemed to never end. She was exhausted and she looked it. To put it bluntly, Alexis looked like hell. ::
:: Clicking her lamp off, she walked back out of her office and into her livingroom. Making her way to the couch, she sat down in the dark. Only the moonlight beamed off her pale face. Tomorrow would be rough...and in all honesty, she wasn't sure how she was going to survive it. The Inferno was horrible, the Citadel was unbearable. But even those events seemed like a walk at the beach compared to her anxiety about going "home" and seeing her family. ::

<< in a soft whispery voice>>: awww...come here little one.
<< she muzzled the little kitten against her wintery cheek and craddled it gently. for a moment..she almost seemed distracted from the fact that Haleigh was now siting in front of her with a new body and a somewhat new presentation......>>

Haleigh exhaled. She hadn't realized she'd been holding her breath. She half expected Morgan to flip out. She knew the kitten was a good idea... because Morgan seemed to calm slightly when she saw it... and seemed to have a little bit more patience with Haleigh once she was cradling it.
"I came back because our destinies are more tightly entwined than either of us would like to admit. Because They NEED me to do their work. I came to you because I have two things to say to you. The first was my apology. Now I'm not as naiive as I know I must look... I know that an apology and a cute kitten wont erase the animosity between us. I dont expect to be bosom buddies by sunrise, It is only a start. I know you have only seen BAD things come from my touch.... but believe it or not... I was once a good person. I'm trying to return to that. We NEED to be civil with each other at least. I ask that you STOP treating me like I'm less than human. I'm not asking for your permission to return to the Six. I'm just being courteous. I'm Back. I thought you deserved to know."
Haleigh paused, looking around with emerald green eyes. The next thing she had to say might not go over so smoothly... but to hell with it, it was important to Haleigh. she couldn't lose ANOTHER person so close to her heart. She steered way clear of the subject of Blaze... it was painful for obth of them, and Haleigh had the feeling she'd end it with her hair on fire for calling Morgan a murderer, and Haleigh'd want to strangle Morgan for blaming it all on her and Cameron.... so she decided it was best left to time to heal.
"The second thing [her voice becoming stern as she locked eyes with Spellbinder] If you ever, EVER cause harm to Cameron, physically, emotionally, or mentally, I swear, so help me GOD... you will regret it deeply. That's not a threat.... it just IS. They are behind me on this. Morgan.... They are watching you. They know every move you make. They want you to stop eliminating the members of their precious Six... because They are running out of replacements. As for Cameron... I know you abhor him for being a man... but just tolerate him. I'll talk to him... I'll get him to behave.. besides Vivica, I'm probably the only one he'll listen to...."

<< Morgan was fawning over the kitten...as she opened her hand and conjured a little kitty bottle..she began to nurse the kitten....craddling it while it drank from the bottle. it was clear that there WAS a softer...almost maternal side to Morgan....she looked down at Haleigh with a cold glare....the shock and confusion of her being here...be it in a new form was starting to wear away...the longer this woman spoke>>
<< in an icy voice>>: listen here, the powers that be may rule you...but they DONT rule me. I am the mistress of Limbo, a realm that exists OUTSIDE of time and space...and BEYOND their precious reach. You may be alive now...because there is a purpose you must fullfil...but you wouldnt have DIED in the first place if you had learn how to shut your mouth and realize that they are powers you cannot control. Cameron didnt understand that either...and its YOUR fault just as much as it is HIS that the Inferno happened. Blaze is dead...Cameron is ALIVE...and YOU of all people get a second chance!? now if THAT isnt some twisted logic...i dont know what is. BLAZE was the only one stupid enough to allow her heart to lead her to try to bridge the gap between you two and myself....you ought to be thanking HER for her efforts...for she DIED helping to preserve cameron and the city.
<< sitting down in a chair nearby...still holding the kitten, Morgan looked loftily at Haleigh>>
and save your threats. I killed you before..Ill do it again if you cross me, or threaten my mother OR alison. I've booted Cameron out of the Six and Illustra...and YOU are not welcomed back into Illustra until I say so.
<< Morgan was reacting to the harsh and REAL fact that Haleigh was here...but NOT Blaze...it hurt her in her icy heart in the WORST WAY...and even IF Haleigh had a new body and new presentation...Morgan still felt that this woman was not to be trusted>>
<<after EVERYTHING that had happened...all the grieving, the pain and the attempt to move forward. The GALA was the first big step forward, and even THAT was ruined. Morgan immediately thought of Alexis...who had been blind sided by Helena's news and abusive tyraid. She hoped that the girl was allright...even IF that girl had been LESS than helpfull or supportive of HER during the initial loss of Blaze.>>
I still fail to see the point of this. you havent demonstrated anything other than you've gotten better with your orator skills. your less offensive with your wording but you're still saying "fuck you witch" with your every sentence.
I dont need another lingering catalyst to cause me to lose control again..THAT is why i got rid of Cameron.

Something inside Haleigh snapped at the mention of Blaze. Morgan hadn't changed one bit... she was STILL trying to displace her role in the terror that plagued New York that night. She snapped at Morgan, her voice raised.
"I DIDNT ASK FOR A SECOND CHANCE, OKAY?! THEY PUT ME HERE!"
Haleigh leaned forward, her face in her hands, rubbing her eyes softly and sighing. "Blaze SHOULD be here in my place. But you are right... you are beyond The Powers That Be... and as such... They cannot FIX what YOU did to her. I.... I asked." Her voice softened to the point of being almost inaudible as she looked back up at Morgan, visibly shaken, not by Morgan's hostility, but by the topic of conversation... Blaze's death. "I tried... I tried to tell her, you weren't yourself.... that she was in as much danger as we were... but she was so stubborn... she wouldn't believe me. I continuously had to save her from you in the beginning.... if only I could have been there in the end.... I cannot explain to you... how sorry I am that I wasn't."
It mightve been a heartfelt condolence... for Haleigh was geniune for once and it showed.... but Morgan had to ruin it, as always, she had to make herself seem more powerful than she was... she had to gloat about 'booting' Cameron out. Haleigh stood up from her chair, she'd had quite enough of Morgan for one night. Her voice was bitter again, and her green eyes were sharp with disdain.
"I THINK you'll find I'm NOT so easily dispatched, Morgan. YOU may be beyond Them... but there are people you love that ARENT, and you can take that as a threat or ANY other way you wish. Cameron will be back... for it is HIS destiny to be with the Six as well. I have ALWAYS been capable of providing living accomodations for myself, so you can take Illustra and shove it strategically up your ass. Hows THAT for less offensive? Now... I hope you enjoy your gift.... I think I've tresspassed on your... [scoffs]hospitality.... long enough. I can show myself out, I wish I could say it's been a pleasure."
Haleigh turned and stalked off, just barely keeping herself composed. the NERVE of that woman... WHY did she always feel as though she had to belittle everyone else to make herself feel less responsible or less threatened, or less of whatever it was she didnt want to feel?

<< Morgan jumped, ever so slightly as Haleigh snapped at her at the mention of a "second chance" and Blaze...obviously a source of sensitivity for Haleigh...but just a Haleigh responded...Morgan swallowed and seemed to "look on" as Haleigh remarked that SHE had to save Blaze from MORGAN "from the beginnning">>
<< THIS woman tried to make it seem as though SHE laid HER life down!?...Morgan wouldnt have it.>>
<<carefully setting the kitten down...Morgan was INSTANTLY upon Haleigh..blocking her path>>
JUST A MINUTE! dont you DARE suggest that YOU were keeping my sister safe. She KNEW the risks...she CHOSE to stand in the gap for you and cameron...WHY i will NEVER know but UNLIKE YOU...SHE helped OTHERS...that was her legacy..what can we say about YOURS?
<< thunder clapped as the rains continue fall harder>>
Do you think its EASY for me to see YOU? whatEVER body you now have....it doesnt change the fact that BLAZE is dead. I KNOW that I killed her...i had lost total control....and EVERYONE knows that it was what YOU and CAMERON wanted more than anything else..no matter WHAT the cost may be!
<< glaring at the woman....and looking down at her>>
I dont know if i'll EVER be able to truly recover from Blaze's death..but everytime i THINK im beginning to heal just a LITTLE BIT someone like YOU has to show up and throw a curve ball. the difference between me and you is that people KNOW i'm a demon sorceress...they KNOW what i'm capable of. they dont try to hide amongst the crowd like some "sleeper" just waiting for the right moment to detonate! This "Team" as it were...was JUST STARTING to pull back from the brink...and you wouldnt know it but someone ELSE has suffered a terrible loss this evening. But all YOU care about is announcing yourself and that you will be back!? get a clue...you've ALWAYS been self absorbed..and even in a new body...that seems NOT to have changed.
<< Morgan was not about to let Haleigh get away without her knowing just how she felt>>
we have to try to recover..I have to maintain control...and i cant do that with someone like YOU here. just GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE AND LEAVE US ALONE!

"Please Morgan, just let me go, I don't want to do this with you anymore, I just want to go HOME."
Haleigh said, slightly resigned as she saw Morgan block her path. But Morgan wouldn't have it. Morgan ALWAYS had to have the last word... and could never leave well enough alone... and NEVER missed a chance to paint Haleigh a monster. Frankly, Hales was tired of the woman's whole charade... she let Morgan rant on, smiling and shaking her head softly. Morgan would never change.... it was foolish of Hales to think maybe Blaze's death softened her a bit. A least she wasn't still trying to threaten her with death, that was old enough.
"My legacy? I lied, manipulated, stole, murdered, and did JUST about anything to accomplish or acquire what I wanted. I was a selfish, unscrupulous TYRANT, and a terrible person to boot. Well.... isnt that what you wanted to hear? STOP talking to me as if I dont KNOW what Blaze did for me. I loved Blaze... more than you will ever know. She died because I was stubborn and foolish and because YOU were psychotic and violent. We BOTH have to deal with that now. I NEVER tried to say her death wasnt my fault... because I know in some part, it was. Cameron and I wanted to take you down from your pedastel. We didnt intend for hell on earth... and I can gaurantee that NEITHER of us intended for Blaze's death. Now I'm trying to be an adult and own up... so give me a break lady. We need to work together without trying to kill each other... Blaze would've wanted that. We BOTH owe it to her to TRY. Now you're the FIRST of the Six that I've come to... so please, forgive me for not knowing what's up with the rest of them. I'm NOT asking you for permission, Morgan. I'm here to STAY, and neither you NOR I can change that. Now if you'll EXCUSE me, I have others to reintroduce myself to."
Haleigh pushed past Morgan. All the fight seemed to have left her... she appeared to be visibly drained, and she wanted nothing more than to leave. She didnt want to deal with Morgan anymore tonight, she had said what she came here for.

<< the pain of Blaze's loss was still very much in her heart and soul...and just when she thought she was clawing her way past the initial grief....HALEIGH was back from the dead! a FURTHER reminder of Inferno's aftermath...and another object lesson of Morgan's wrath. Morgan had successfully forced Cameron out of her life..ONLY to have Haleigh replace that gap. HOW would she continue on her path to much needed self control!?...what was she going to do!?>>
<< she went back inside of the loft..and the door closed and locked from top to bottom.....all light in the hallway fading as there was now silence. the pain in The Six seemed to SPIKE more than it deal HEAL.>>

:: Alexis didn't bother to look up to Alison. Her facial expression remained the same; heartbroken and damaged. ::
"No."
:: Whispered the meta human. She was straight to the point. She knew Alison would be aware of her leaving. Slowly blinking her eyes, a few tears could be seen rolling down her cheeks. The moonlight barely lit her face--but from what Alison could see, Alexis was at her lowest. ::
"...AJ's..funeral's tomorrow."
:: Pausing...Alexis drew in a shaky breath. ::
"And I--I assumed I would be going alone."
:: Pushing herself off the couch, at that moment Alexis wanted to go by herself. She wished Alison hadn't come to her; that she was as cold and heartless as everyone thought she was and left Alexis go. But deep down inside...she really did want some support. Hell, she didn't get it from Helena. And she hadn't spoken to the rest of her family in a while. Who knows where she stood with them. ::
:: Stepping past the cobalt eyes that were Alisons, the blonde slowly made her way over to the floor to ceiling windows. Her dress making a soft shuffling noise on the hardwood flooring. Wrapping her arms around her stomach, Alexis looked out at the city. ::
"Just....tell the others I’ll be back in a day or so."
:: Her voice trailed off. She seemed weak, like her energy level was at a dangerous low. Her voice was horse and soft. Her body seemed frail. It wasn't the Alexis Alison was used to seeing. It was almost scary; but all in the same, heartbreaking. ::

:: the cobalt blue eyes turned and followed in an eerie sort of way::
did it ever occurr to you that once you are there, and isolated that you may not be ABLE to return?
::alison DID feel genuinely bad for the young metahuman, she had grieved for Blaze and Morgan...so this was an all too familiar scene::
i know that there's not much i can say to you right now. it's not my place and even in the best circumstances, you don't like me. But regardless of your feelings..i am the GUARDIAN. I see all times and all spaces. If YOU do not want to fall victim to the machinations of you're aunt..you will WAIT and allow Morgan and I to accompany you. WE posses the fire power to keep you safe.

"Don't you get it, Alison? I don't care anymore. My brother is dead. The one person that ever accepted me for me is gone. The on..."
:: Alexis stopped. The room was silent once again. ::
"Never mind."
:: She softly mumbled. Turning away from the windows, she looked to Alison. It was true Alison wasn't her favorite person...but she was making an effort, which was a lot more then she could say about others. ::
"I can handle Helena...I have for most of my life. But I will wait for you and Morgan...It--it'd actually be nice to have the company.."
:: Lowering her eyes away from Alison, it was the most probably the most open and sincere she had ever been to her. She was basically saying she wanted Alison there with her. To help her. For support. ::
:: The silence was a bit unnerving...so Alexis stepped past Alison and to the mini bar that was in her livingroom--mainly used for guests only. Lifting the glass "cork" from the square glass bottle filled with Vodka, she turned to Alison. ::
"Would you like a drink?"

::the cobalt eyes continued to "appear" at the point they would be if ALISON herself was there....without the rest of her, there was no way to see what her actual reaction was Alexis' response::
No...Alison I am fine. But do YOU need to be drinking right now? Probably not. you need NOT derail yourself from all the progress you have made so far.
::the glass of vodka was encased in a block of ice::
I know more than you are comfortable to admit. its one of the reasons you dont like me. thats fine. most people dont like me, but at this point, after all I...this "team" have been through youll pardon me if i dispense with trying to coddle you. THAT is what got Cameron in the mess he is in now with Morgan, Sharon and Alycia.
Alexis, this is a TRAP. plain and simple. If you go to this funeral alone, you're going to die...and there wont BE any more chances. You will be expunged by Helena as if you never existed.
However you feel about me....the unbelievable fact remains...that i dont want to see that happen to you...and neither does Morgan. we both feel terrible about what has happened and that is why I am here.

:: Watching the vodka turn into ice, Alexis closed her eyes. Putting the lid back onto the bottle, she turned around to face Alison. ::
"I'm not asking to be coddled. Frankly I would much rather grieve in peace. I'm not used to this Alison. I'm used to making problems go away...getting what I want. Yes, call me a spoiled brat--but that's all i've known. I just...I don't--"
:: Stopping, she shook her head while lowering it. At this moment, Alexis turned more human then ever before. She realized there were no quick fixes to this mess. That there wasn't an alternative path to take in order to get her brother back. She was basically helpless on multiple levels. ::
"I'm sorry. I don't grieve well...I normally just drink and numb the pain...Alison it's so hard knowing that he's gone and I could of prevented it. That I..."
:: Stopping, she took a breath in, composing herself. ::
"The plane leaves tomorrow at 12."
:: Walking past Alison's cobalt eyes, she proceeded down the hallway and into her bedroom. A soft clicking noise could be heard as the door softly shut. At this point, it was better for Alexis to just be alone. ::

::across town..in the blink of an eye.....a POP is heard as a pair of cobalt blue eyes opens in the suite of Adrian Lockhart. The eyes fix on a writhing, flailing Adrian who is rolling about in the bed like a slutty over sexed dog in heat with some bubble headed blonde boy::
:: the cobalt blue eyes role with dismissive disgust as Alison CLEARS HER THROAT to get his attention::
EXCUSE ME....but if you two hot boxes wouldnt mind taking a break for AIR...i have something to say!
:: the site of a pair of eyes...piercing, unforgiving eyes no less...and NO BODY or other impression to go with them suddenly appearing in the room in the air had to be disconcerting for the poor blonde secretary but Alison could care less...the room REEKED of debauchery and rampant sexual gluttony...but of course there was no way for Adrian to know what alison's reaction was for all he could see were a pair of cobalt blue eyes::
Brad's long, sinewy limbs were spread out as Adrian moved above him, utterly in control of the situation. Each touch was wildfire to the horomonal youth, and the intensity in Adrian's eyes took his breath away. His boss was losing himself, Brad realized. Making love to him with abandon. A hand grabbed the headboard to steady himself.
The moonlight bathed over their entwined bodies, spilling over well-developed muscles and the exquisite clash of Adrian's golden skin over Brad's pale, more fair flesh. Adrian's lower body had initially been covered by the soft, silk sheets, but those sheets had crawled down to his ankles, offering a tantalizing glimpse to Alison's calculating blue eyes.
So lost was he, that Adrian hardly registered her voice as she rudely interrupted. No matter.
But Brad was a decent boy. He sort of gasped and tried to cover himself and..well..stop. Yet Adrian, ever in control, silenced him with an abrupt kiss, crushing their mouths together. That, combined with the pheromones that filtered in the room as freely as oxygen, quickly brought Brad's mind to the matter at hand.
"So good...so..ahh..yeah Adrian. Fuck," he moaned, as Adrian took a quick holiday towards his succulent, exposed neck, making crude sucking sounds. Damn, that'd leave marks in the morning.
Alison could hardly know how long they had been going, but both acted oblivious to her presence for a full five minutes, in which she was exposed to Adrian's masterful command of sex. Though normally he was slow and gentle, she had caught Adrian in a moment where his mind was detached from his body, and each thrust was savage and full of passion.
In those last, beautiful moments, Brad clung with both hands onto Adrian's broad back, leaving scratch marks as he gripped onto the muscular celebrity for dear life. And then it ended with Brad's sole cry; Adrian clenched his teeth and remained silent, though his angry brown gaze spoke volumes.
Adrian collapsed onto Brad. Brad groaned, content for a while. Adrian slept. For a minute.
"Leave," he said, when he had rolled onto his back and finally regarded Alison. Brad gave her one look, squaked in terror, and with his sheets around him, fled. The slam of the hotel door signaled his exit.
"Alison," Adrian greeted her, now sitting up. He made no move to cover himself; his body glistened beautifully with a combination of sweat and of course, the ever intrusive moonlight.

:: her voice was so disdainfull and lofty. yet clear:: well, i see you managed to salvage this evening. but then again..a person with such an amoral, fractured psyche like yourself WOULD be able to engage in mindless, rampant debauchery with ANYONE at ANY MOMENT.
If you could manage to spend SOME of the time OFF of your back, I have come here to tell you something.
Adrian cocked his head. He was tired and he was weary and very well in the midst of collapsing on this very comfortable mattress and falling asleep; but still he kept it up, that friendly facade which radiated through his warm brown eyes.
"I wasn't trying to put on a show, if that's what you think," he said, shifting and now leaning on one propped up bicep.
Yet she did think so.
And Adrian knew it. To pretend otherwise was, frankly, a waste of their time.
"I'm all ears," Adrian responded as she finished her cool, accurate assessment of him. The observation didn't bother him. He knew what he was and, no, quite liked himself, thanks.
So then he spread his arms genially, as if the sudden, very intimate view of his sculpted chest was anything but a ploy to distract her, but rather an innocent, "welcoming" gesture.

:: the eyes blinked still unmoved::
do you think your capable of keeping this hyper sexual flesh bag of a body that you flaunt like a cheap advertisement COVERED?
your "Friend" Alexis is flying out tommorow to attend the funeral of her brother, AJ. Morgan and I are accompanying her to keep her safe. Right now..its just the three of us....as our "other former member" was recently forced out by Morgan.
I think you should come with us. After all....part of this is your fault anyway. You were so busy trying to entrance and ensnare Alexis in your pathetic pheromonal nonsense...you didnt realize that underneath that pseudo bitchy exterior is a woman with a heart and she is a scared little girl. this death..and reappearence of her aunt will have far reaching reprocussions..not only for Alexis...but for those of us that are connected through the powers that we posses..and now that you have managed to WORM your way into our sphere...that includes YOU TOO plant boy.
Adrian's eyes flashed at the mention of Morgan, but he lost no ground in his calm, cheerful composure. He stood, very suddenly, and as comfortable as with clothing, walked naked around the expanse of his suite, until he found the bath robe that he had discarded in his haste to bed Brad. Slipping it on, Adrian turned, his entire figure outlined imposingly by the light that reached down from the large windows.
"I never enticed Alexis Quartermaine with anything, Alison," he said cooly. "I am not a psychologist nor a friend to Alexis, but yes," Adrian acknowledged, having now reached Alison, with all that pent-up passion etched in his eyes, "I hold remorse for her, just as I hold remorse for many, many things."
And Adrian's shoulders sagged for a second, and a weary expression impeded upon what had moments ago been a cool, impassive, darkly handsome face. But the whole crack of sincere vulnerability in Adrian's armor of apathy ended as soon as it started.
Adrian smiled amiably.
"I'd love to accompany you three ladies," he announced, his eyes twinkling. Adrian sounded as if he'd be taking them to a strip club instead of the funeral for Alexis' dead relative.
His usual, glaringly offensive self.

and if you try ANYTHING ...ill BREAK YOUR DICK!
:: perhaps it was the heat of the moment, as Alison had spent the last few minutes insulting Adrian as easily as she breathed. but that was by far the most explicit thing she'd said to anyone in recent days. though he may not have had any DIRECT effect on her...he certainly made it EASIER for her to indulge in other facets of her own personality that she normally kept locked away. this could stretch BEYOND the confines of this encounter..but only time and Alison herself would know that.::
"Then what is good of men?" Adrian asked coyly, meeting her dark gaze with fierceness. "The ability to bend to the will of those with ambition? The lack of intelligence to see past their own sex-starved appetites? The dullness in character? The lack of flavor in their personality, maybe?"
He smiled, analyzing his own sex accurately, but utterly detached. This was a man who understood the nature of women; that nature that made them ruthless and dominant, should they wish, over their menfolk. He had adopted it, as surely as he had adopted to his powers and his influence over others, when first discovered. The truly perfect synthesis of a powerful, testosterone-fueled body filled with the determination of a woman, as cold and precise as the blue eyes that now glared at him.
He felt attracted. Yes, oh yes. But he kept it at bay, in utter control of his senses. Men would throw themselves or act forward in some brash away in such a situation. But Adrian merely observed her, though every flash of emotion registerd itself in that intense gaze of his.
Bowing his head graciously, Adrian murmured. "I am attending insofar as you permit me, Alison. I will surrender myself to you," he said softly, though they both knew this man surrendered to no one. Not even her.

But she might surprise him...witches like her and Morgan OFTEN had surprises up their sleeves.::
goodbye.
::the eyes blinked and faded out of view..leaving a swirling haze of blue/black sparkling shards of energy that faded quickly::
Adrian grinned, and if anything, the innocent twitch of his lips only highlighted what was no doubt deadly malice behind his words.
"I wouldn't dream of forcing myself upon anyone," Adrian murmured in that soft tone, though each word rang clearly in the near-empty suite.
He laughed, and it sounded unnatural but not unpleasant. Similar to a snake's hiss, alluring but lethal -- much like his beauty.
"Romance? You insult me, Alison," he said, still laughing as she disappeared.
A whimper behind the hotel door denoted Brad's presence, and Adrian's countenace, moments ago cool and cunning, now manifested itself into Adrian's usual, cheerful image. "Come in, Brad!" he shouted to the door, grinning as the blond-haired boy walked in.
"Is she gone?" Brad asked meekly, his own blue eyes scanning for those pair of almost supernatural irises.
"Yeah, she's gone," Adrian said, chuckling as he wrapped an arm around Brad and guided him to the bed, where they both laid down and rested underneath the comforting light of moon.
Gone, but not forever, Adrian thought, his heavy elids beckoning him to sleep. Alison's visit had spurred Adrian out of self-doubt and guilt. Had reminded him of his purpose.
Adrian slumbered with a smirk.

:: Dawn was slowly approaching. The birds began to chirp and the black skies were turning a beautiful shade of violet and pink. It was a brand new day for the members of The Six, however it was a day that would test the bond of the team. AJ's funeral was that afternoon, making this most difficult for Alexis. But Alison and Morgan would be present which would bring much tension between the two witches and Alexis' aunt, Helena. Anything could happen today, and that's what worried Alexis the most as she sat on her terrace watching the sun rise. She hadn't slept all night. Now in a dark royal blue robe, the blonde rocked back and forth in her rocking chair, hugging herself as the wind danced along her body. Visible goose bumps could be seen on her legs indicating she was a bit chilly. However, she stayed put. ::
"You have no right to grieve AJ!
:: Echoed in her mind. ::
"You're a leech...a parasite! You latch onto people and hold on for dear life until they throw you away like the piece of trash you are!"
:: Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath in. Was she as strong as she thought she was? That she thought she had been? Or was Helena actually right for once. Hell...she was right about a lot of thing. She couldn't hold onto a man. She would of fallen off the wagon if it weren't for both Cameron and Alison. The only reason she had Tempo was because her father gave it to her. Even though the blonde looked tired and emotionless; her mind was racing with thoughts of "what if". From all exterior views, Cameron King was exactly the same man that had entered the bathroom earlier, but he wasn't at all. For the first time in his entire life, he had experienced silence. Something that Prophet himself hated. Could he even call himself Prophet? It just didn't seem right. He had hoped Guardian got his message. Though she posessed a PSI Screen, he could tap into the family connection that they had. He needed to speak with her. He ACTUALLY wanted to talk to Morgan, but considering the state of things, he didn't think it was such a good idea. He waited for her in the living room as he sat on the couch. Again in Silence. Left only with his own thoughts in his heads and flashes of things he had done in the past. ::
"So this is what it's like? A little odd.. It will be weird, but I can get through this..."
:: He looked down at the coaster on the coffee table as he willed it to his hand. Good, he hadn't gone completely overboard. That was a good thing. At least he was of some use to the Six now. But how much? He just needed to sort all of this out. Normally he would have called Erika, but ever since his nightmare, he felt that he should talk to Alison, someone who would give it to him straight and not sugar coat anything ::

:: Turning away. For whatever reason, Cameron was finding it hard to explain himself. There wasn't much too it. He just hadn't said it aloud yet and he was afraid that if he did, it would make it real. ::
"I changed a HUGE part of me.. something that has effected my life for a long time.. I don't want to hurt anybody anymore. I don't want to be that guy. I need to be the real me.. I just..."
:: He walked up to the pair of eyes and took her hand, placing it on his cheek. He couldn't say it himself, but she would know. ::
"Do you notice anything different about me?"

::Alison....what part of her that was THERE... watched her little brother and hear his words. Something HAD happened. an emotionally corrective experience::
So you took heed to Ororo's warning after all. You are headed down a new path.
For your sake and everyone else's....you have made a most sound descision.
:: no more reaction...none could be seen. but secretly, in Alison's heard...she was relieved that SOMEONE finally had listened to HER warning...and allowed themselve to walk down a path that lead to some form of redemption from disaster. She provided the light to the path...but ultimately Cameron had to walk it....hence the nightmare...and Ororo was at the end...waiting to point him in a NEW direction and send him on his way::
with this descision, you have managed to FINALLY proove that everyone was wrong about you.

:: Alison was a better Seer than Cameron gave her credit for. He had always been slightly jealous of her. They pretty much had the same powers, though Alison always had seemed light years in advancement compared to her little brother. ::
"Thank You.. The only thing I am worried about now is the Six.. How can I be an asset to the team? How can I even return? I want to talk to Morgan but that is most likely not going to happen for awhile. I am kind of torn. I am done being extremely emotional. I have to keep things more professional now. I want the Six to work, and ideally I would like us all to get along, but now, we just need to stick together at this point, especially now at the state of Alexis. I hope she is doing okay..."

:: the eyes continued to look on, as Alison's voice was heard in the air...still cold and analytical...but less hostile than trademark for her::
As for Morgan, she needs to continue healing..and that can only keep happening with you NOT in her presence. whatever changes have occurred, SHE is still grappling with her sister's death...and she wants..more than ANYTHING to get the control over her dark soul the same as Ororo won control over HER soul from Belasco all those years ago. this is a process that is VERY important for HER and The GROUP.
The Six will mend..it already has begun with Helena's arrival oddly enough. But there is an ANAMOLY now..in all immediate time threads...something that even I could not have anticipated and STILL cannot focus on...its as though its in plain sight...yet not seen. It has already affected Morgan...and could cause great distress. But i cant zero in on it right now.
But for the here and now, Morgan and I ::she deliberately did not mention Adrian:: are accompanying Alexis to her brother's funeral tommorow. she will need our protection against Helena...who is going to try to kill her. I have already seen it.
::what alison didnt realize was that the ANAMOLY was Haleigh Davidoff and that she had been to see Morgan. Morgan had turned her away...despite the shocking revelation of her being alive again and possesed of a new body and new lease on life. The anamoly cast a long shadow over al the immediate time threads that alison saw....but it was still unclear to her or anyone else at this time::

Haleigh stood outside the executive suite in the Parthenon, staring at the door. She had driven agressively the entire way, her knuckles white from gripping the steering wheel so tightly, weaving in and out out traffic, speeding like a bat out of hell and narrowly avoiding several collisions... she was so wound up from the conversation with Morgan that she hardly thought about where she was going... She knew she was headed for Cameron, but she was so caught up in being astounded at Morgan's audacity that she hadn't had time to actually THINK about what she'd say or do when she arrived. and yet, here she stood, at his door.
She didnt know WHAT was wrong with her. She was shaking from adrenaline. Her heart was pounding so loud, it was a wonder that someone wasnt answering the door. She sucked in a deep breath, licking her lips slowly. She knocked firmly, though she really wanted to bust the door down. She tried to prepare... he wouldn't recognize her right away... and would likely spend a few seconds wondering if, by the way she was looking at him, he'd impregnanted a one night stander or something, until he probed her mind and realized who she was. This would be far easier than Morgan, for it would be a reunion of friends, not near enemies, and Haleigh wouldn't have to explain anything, because knowing Cameron, he'd know right away almost everything that happened. Haleigh tried to think of something to say. She had no idea Alison was WITH Cameron in his suite.... otherwise she might have waited until she'd gone... because Alison would likely make it stiff and uncomfortable.... Alison's reaction would no doubt echo Morgan's... and if Haleigh KNEW that was what was in store for her behind the door... she mightve gone about it a different way.... but now, standing at his door, she could think of nothing else, she had to see him. Other than Cass, he was the only person she could count on. Be still, my fluttering heart.

:: Cameron listened to his sister's words. She was actually going to AJ's funeral? This seemed to be a surprising turn of events. A few months ago, Morgan and Alison would have never given it a second thought but they were going. ::
"So yet ANOTHER big bad is going to come down on us? I feel like I am on an episode of Charmed or something.. but I will heed your warning. As for AJ's funeral, I am going to Port Charles myself. Alexis needs me there if not for my powers, but for my bond with her as a friend, however, I will promise to keep my distance from Morgan. We should be leaving in a few hours, correct?"
:: Prophet looked at his watch. It was getting to be the early morning. Alexis might have already left or be getting ready to head towards the airport. ::
"Let me get some bags and affairs together, thank you for talking to me Alison.. It was.. nice.. Thanks Again..."
:: He looked at her for a moment before heading down to his bedroom and packing some of his bags. Cameron couldn't leave this up for discussion. He was probably the closest person in the Six to Alexis, he would need to be there. But as he was walking down the hall, he heard a rather loud knock. He wondered who could possibly be at his door at THIS hour. He walked up to the door and slowly opened to find the form of a woman who looked a little familiar. He gave her an interesting eyebrow ::
"Can I help you? How did you even get up to this floor?"

Haleigh looked up as the door opened, and her heart skipped a beat. She froze as he spoke, realizing just how much she'd missed him. She locked eyes with him, giving a soft smile, and before he could react, she pulled him into a hug. Morgan and her problems seemed to melt away...
"Cameron...."
She whispered in his ear softly. She let him go, stepping back and looking him over. She seemed to be checking for injuries.
"Well, I hate to break it to you, but your overnight security is a little lax. Of course.... I really had an unfair advantage.... tell that guard on the executive elevator that I'm sorry I broke his arm and knocked him out." She stopped inspecting him and smiled, tossing her blonde hair out of her face. "I was worried Morgan mightve 'relieved' you of an extremity or two... she said she booted you out of the Six and Illustra... and I'm sure with me out of the way, she'll have been a good deal more violent.... But you look to be in whole form."
Cameron had this blank look on his face... Hales realized she'd forgot to introuce herself. She gave a soft chuckle.
"What's the matter Stud, don't you remember me? It's ME.... Haleigh."

:: Prophet immediately pushed away from this woman as he lashed out with Telekinetic Force sending her flying into the opposite wall before quickly lifting her up and holding her in the air ::
"I don't know WHO the fuck you think you are and how you know Haleigh, but I advise that you get out of my sight before you JOIN her on the otherside.."
:: He looked her up and down with a look of complete and total disgust ::
"And don't think I haven't seen your ass trying to get into some of the biggest parties around the city. A ladder climbing dancer who has an affinity for the white powder. Jesus Christ your probably glazed out of your mind! Take yourself out of my sight and if I see you again, then may the Gods take mercy on your soul..."

Haleigh flew straight back into the wall, hitting it so hard that the wall GAVE under the force of her body, leaving an imprint where she hit. She couldn't believe he was demanding she leave.... this wasnt exactly the reception she'd had in mind from him. She knew her death must be something of a soft spot for him... and that strange women knocking on his door claiming to know him were bad news [remember Racheal?]... but this, in her opinion, was a little harsh.
"The HELL I will! That HURT. This is retarded, Cam, PLEASE put me down. I am NOT stoned, I do NOT try to get into parties that I should RIGHTFULLY be invited to, i might add, and I am NOT leaving! I know I look different Stud, but cut me some slack, Morgan obliterated my last body."
She decided to try a different tactic... locking eyes with him, she focused, thinking hard, trying to get him to listen. Please, Cameron... we were SO close... please tell me you know me when you see me.
"Ask me anything.... anything only I would know.... anything only you and Haleigh would know."

:: Cameron eyed the woman with such ferocity and disdain that it was clear to Haleigh that he almost COULDN'T tell just who this woman was. Something had to be up. He pondered the question and decided to play along. ::
"Alright, when we got locked in the Citadle together, what was the name of the Demon Mage torturing us and WHAT kind of underwear did I have on?"
:: He quickly turned to Alison and gave her a look of confusion and need for help. This had been the first time since he could remember that he wasn't able to easily discern who people really were. This was tough already. Would she help him or let him do this one on his own? ::

::the cobalt blue eyes had shimmered into view at this point from where they had been in Cameron's master bedroom. they sparkled as they formed and looked upon this woman with an analytical glare.::
THIS is the ANAMOLY! THIS WOMAN......
::Guardian's tone was agitated, almost grief stricken::
THIS is why Morgan is now in distress.....and why the team may never recover.
::Guardian's face could not be seen...but her agitation was so apparent::
Cameron....as impossible as it may seem...this woman is Haleigh Davidoff...she is the anamoly i had NOT been able to focus in on...until now.
::the eyes looked at Cameron directly::
we just talked..we JUST talked about the changes you have made...and how you may try to bridge the gap between yourself and morgan...not only for personal benefit but for the benefit of the team.....and now THIS woman...a woman who has dedicated her LIFE to destroying others and doing whatever it took to achieve HER desires is back! BLAZE FIELDING is DEAD...and THIS woman is back...somehow reconstituted.
DO NOT let her derail you Cameron...do NOT let her undue the progress you have made...and if you are planning to go with us to Alexis' brother's funeral...do yourself and us a favor...DONT BRING HER!
::Guardian's eyes sparkled as they shimmered out of view...the seer was gone from the Parthenon..and hoped that Cameron would not revert to type now that his demented bosom buddy was back from the dead::

:: This was Haleigh Davidoff? His best friend and partner in crime? Could it be possible. He wanted to believe it but he didn't want to get his hopes up. I mean his mother was able to walk among the Six for days without anybody even knowing it was really her. Could this be another upset from Mystech? He didn't know, but for now, this was something that he couldn't deal with at the moment. He looked at Haleigh or whoever this woman was standing before him. ::
"Look.. This is TOO much for me right now.. I need to go. I am going to be in Port Charles, but I am NOT inviting you. I am simply informing you of where I will be, if you take the initiative to show up then so be it.. but if you ARE telling me the truth.. I've love you and i've missed you like crazy.. If not, I will kill you where you stand... You make that decision. Now please remove yourself from my penthouse..."
:: Taking telekinetic hold of Haleigh he summoned up the elevator shoved her in and the doors closed with a ding as she was RACED down to the Lobby at an extremely high speed and spit out on her ass on the tile like floor. Would she come to Port Charles? For now, Cameron finished packing up his stuff and headed towards his business complex to take the private helicopter to Port Charles for the Funeral of AJ Quartermaine. This was going to be hard. ::

Haleigh smiled, ready with the answer... the damage the Demon Mage had caused her personally struck her to her core and the sight of his choice of underwear would make her chuckle always... just because she had him figured for a simple black CK kind of guy.... but as Alison appeared, her expression turned from one of relief to one of wariness. Her eyes narrowed as Alison reminded Cameron of her person... as if ANY of them had forgotten what Haleigh was capable of. Haleigh looked back at Cameron as Alison left... not knowing exactly what to expect.... everyone seemed to be reacting differently than Haleigh'd guessed... Morgan was calm, but Cameron had freaked out. She smiled softly as he said he loved her and missed her.... all seemed right with the world. She couldn't respond quickly enough, though, as before she realized what was going on, she found herself sliding on her back across the lobby floor. She slowed to a stop, and a man bent down to help her up. She simply smiled and thanked him, and turned to leave. Cass lived only a few minutes away.
****
Haleigh burst in through the front door, and Cass looked up from her brunch.
Cass:"Hey Becc... this is Hannah Stauffer and Elizabeth Burnett... they're helping us negotiate your return... we cant have a bunch of people recognizing your body. They both specialize in Memory Modification."
"Very Good." Hales nodded, leaning forward to shake both of their hands and greeting them briefly. "Hannah, Elizabeth. I'd stay and chat but I'm in a hurry... Cass... I need to borrow a black dress."
"Certainly...." Cass responded. Haleigh nodded absentmindedly and walked toward the bedroom quickly. Cassandra excused herself from the table and followed. Haleigh had begun digging through the closet for something appropriate. Cass stood in the doorway and spoke. "Where are you going?"
"Port Charles..." She replied, pulling out a simple black dress, then crinkling her nose and returning it to the closet.
"What's in Port Charles?"
Haleigh smiled softly, remembering what Cameron had said... "Another party I'm NOT invited to."
"Another Gala?" Cass asked, fishing. She wondered if Haleigh was being secretive on purpose or just being short because she really was in a hurry.
"No..." she began, pulling out a little black silk dress, eyeing it, and then closing up the closet. This would be fine. "This one is a funeral."
Cass nodded softly, moving out of the doorway, handing Hales a pair of opentoed heels to go with the dress. "Blaze's?" She asked softly, her curiousity getting the best of her.
Haleigh shook her head, wondering if she'd missed Blaze's funeral... wondering if there was even going to be a funeral for Blaze. They didnt exactly have a body. "No, this one is for AJ, Alexis' brother... Thanks for the dress, I'll be back later... Call me if anything goes down." She said, disappearing out the door. She was on her cell as she got into her car. She seemed to be moving at an unnatural speed. "Hello? Yes... Port Charles. Wheels up in twenty minutes."
